6- Ooop so apparently this is my pile. I NEED A HERO I'M HOLDING ON FOR A HERO 'til the end of the night and he's gotta be strong, and he's gotta be fast and he's gotta be fresh from the fight..... Anyway this is someone who presents as a fuck boy but in reality, they're just a normal person. So I feel like this is a misconception you're going to have about them when they genuinely have good intentions. I think this person will sort come as some sort of hero in your life. This could come in the form of them giving you a financial opportunity. However, I feel like for most of you they're going to help you financially or be a co-worker that's really helpful. They could give you a really good idea for something financially. Even if you're in school, they could present some sort of job opportunity to you. I think they could also be good to you in general. But at the end of the day, you might actually end up sucking their dick fr like literally HAHAHA I don't think it will be a bad thing. Yeah, you might think that they're coming to ruin your life, but they're really not. Aka opposite of pile 5 🤭.

This work is, like the last three, an entry for @blue-fanlady's curtisson week!

This one is just little over 1k words domestic curtisson where they literally share a house and everything and yet they're not married?? 🤨🤨 yea I'm gonna have to call bullshit (but yea I didn't make them married in this story sorry)

ALSO I'm just as tired as them in this story rn and I'm not gonna lie I wrote parts of this fanfic half asleep so‼️‼️whoops ‼️‼️I'll proofread once I wake up cause a little after I post this I'm going to bed (at...7am HEDJHFJR)

Curtisson Week Day 4: Sleeping

Burt was sitting on the couch in the living room of he and Sven's shared house with a book in hand. He had it open, but wasn't really paying too much attention to the story. It was mostly just to pass the time as he waited for Sven to come home from work. He looked back at his watch. 9:43pm. That's around the time Sven got off, so he should be home soon.

Burt was lucky enough to be sent off of work early. Though he was kind of upset at the same time because usually he and Sven got out of work around the same time (Sven getting out about 30 minutes after him), so he never had to wait too long for him. This time, though, he was sent off three hours earlier than he usually was. He wasn't sure why, but he didn't question it. Time off work is time off work.

Though…maybe he should've offered to work the three hours anyway. Just so he'd have something to do.

Sven and Burt had moved in together fairly recently, so while all the necessary stuff were set, such as cooking supplies, a bed, a couch, dressers, etc, etc., they were still lacking some things that they were planning on getting once they had the time.

For now, though, most things involving entertainment weren't present. Aside from like, his phone and a few books. Which he was usually alright with. He was content just sitting there, drinking his morning coffee on their porch. "Like an old man." Sven would say. But it wasn't morning, nor was it really the time for you to be chilling out on your porch. Way too cold at night.

He was feeling a little tired, but he didn't want to sleep without his boyfriend in his arms, and chances are Sven felt the same way. Though, maybe doing a relaxing activity such as reading wasn't helping his case much. But eh, nothing much else to do that'll keep him distracted.

He decided that he might as well take a shower while he waited, so he set the hardcover down on the coffee table and went into their bedroom to pick out pyjamas. A loose orange shirt and pants fit nicely. He added some matching socks there too, for extra comfort.

Once he got in and out of the shower, he put his comfy pyjamas on, and went back into the living room. He sat back on the couch and tried to read the book again. It wasn't a bad story by any means, just not what he was in the mood for. Which he finally realized and decided to just scroll through his phone instead.

A few minutes later, he heard the front doorknob rattling and assumed that it was Sven. He turned off his phone, putting it on the coffee table in front of him, and looked towards the front door expectantly. He let a gentle smile appear on his face when he saw Sven walk in, closing the door behind him. “Oh, welcome back,” he said. “How was work?”

Sven moved to sit next to Burt on the couch. “It was fine,” he sighed. “How was yours?”

“The usual,” Burt replied. "Are you up for dinner?" He asked, tilting his head over at Sven.

Sven shook his head. "Too tired…can we just go straight to bed?"

Burt smiled softly at that and nodded. "Of course." He then stood up, expecting the other to follow him to their bedroom, which he did. They walked in and Burt turned on the lights so they could see better.

Sven flopped down face first on the bed, groaning as he hit the sheets, letting said sheets suppress his voice a little.

"Hey, hey, you have to at least take a shower first," Burt chuckled, gently lifting Sven up from the bed. The other grunted once more, but reluctantly agreed. He'd feel a lot more comfortable after a shower anyway. "I already took mine, so I'll just wait for you, yeah?"

Sven nodded, and waited for Burt to leave the room so he could have some privacy.

Burt patiently waited outside of their bedroom door, letting Sven finish doing his thing.

About 10 minutes later, he heard the clear. "Okay, you can come in now."

Burt opened the door and stepped back in, greeted with Sven looking much more comfortable. And adorable. "There you go. Let's get to bed, then." Ah, yes. The moment they've both been waiting for.

Burt turned out the lights and took Sven with him on the bed. He took his headphones and top hat off, putting them on top of the nightstand. Sven had taken off his own hat right after getting out of the shower so he didn't worry about it. They were both under the covers, lying next to each other. They were pretty close together already, but apparently that wasn't enough for Sven and he slid closer to Burt, before mildly gripping onto his shirt.

"Someone's clingy." He teased, leaving the other flustered. Burt couldn't help but snicker at this. His boyfriend had always been easy to tease. He never overdid it, though. Just whenever he really wanted to see his reaction. And Sven delivered every time.

Sven looked up at him, his cheeks pink from the proximity and the teasing. He stopped gripping on his shirt for a minute, instead just laying his palms on top of his chest. He kept letting his gaze wander to Burt's lips, and couldn't resist kissing him right then and there.

Burt was taken aback by the sudden kiss, but he wasn't complaining. Not at all. He closed his eyes and kissed back, letting his hand slide up into Sven's hair, twirling it around his fingers.

Sven found Burt playing in his hair to be very relaxing, and kept the kiss going for a little longer. He loved nights like these, where he could just lay down, cuddling and kissing his boyfriend after a long day of work. Without a care in the world. It felt amazing.

Unfortunately, the kiss had to come to an end eventually. Especially whenever a thing called oxygen existed. They both pulled away, letting out a soft breath as they did so.

Burt had stopped running his fingers through Sven's hair, now just resting his hand on his head. Sven buried his face into Burt's neck. "Can you…keep doing that?" He whispered into the crook of his neck.

Burt raised an eyebrow. "Doing what?" He asked.

"Combing your fingers in my hair…" he replied. "It feels nice."

Now it was Burt's turn to get flustered. Thank God Sven couldn't see the pink in his face, but perhaps he could tell anyway and he was just too sleepy to care or say anything.

"Okay…" he obliged and started to run his fingers through the others' hair again. His hair was always soft and well-kempt, making it nice to play with.

Sven relaxed even more than he already was, which was good for both him and Burt. It was nice seeing him not so tense.

Sven then placed a soft kiss on Burt's neck. Then another, and another. At first Burt tensed up from how sudden it was, but he slowly relaxed himself. Sven planted one more soft kiss onto his neck before nuzzling into it.

They both felt themselves begin to drift off. Neither of them tried to fight it. They let themselves fall into a deep sleep.

4 whole months and 2 weeks, that's how long he had known you. A random girl from a shitty dating app suggested by Jake. Just for a week, he said.

But it was really weird, almost like the girl behind the screen has casted a spell on him, bewitching him with her every words. Sitting inside the class, as Heeseung checks your old chats with a small smile. Multiple texts from him begging you to just give your name, you suggested a game. A little game, huh?

sweetpurpledarling077: let's play a game then, I often play it as a kid. Lemme call it The Seventh Month game, I'll give you hints sometimes for seven months and you'll guess it. If you guessed my name correctly, then I'll give you a reward in the seventh month .. for now just call me Purple <3

It's now the fourth month, and you had given him a fair amount of hints. However, Heeseung still couldn't guess it. But he obviously won't back down, he'll definitely be able to guess your name and take his prize which is you. Ah, he didn't expect himself to fell for you so hard like this.

After texting with you the entire night, getting to know you was fun, he thought. He don't plan to take this any further, but went to sleep with smile on his face which was a rare occurrence. Waking up with Sakura's text but none from you, he frowned a bit, but shrugged it off. Replying to her text he got from last night.

Hee_01: sorry, I was a bit tired last night.

sakuraaa_: np :) party still on for tonight?

Hee_01: ofc :) see u later

Night soon comes, and the party was starting. Putting on his fit for tonight, he glanced at his phone and there was no text from you. Odd, he thought. But he ignored it as he come downstairs, seeing Sakura and his friends.

"Hey babe, looking hot as ever." smiling at his compliments, she move closer hugging him. "And so are you."

"Let's party!!" Jake clinking his glasses, along with his girl in his arms. Heeseung chuckled, bringing his glass into the air along with everyone in sync. While the girl in his arms, were getting intimate with him, as always. Smirking, he whispered "Getting turned on so quick, huh?" caressing her blushing red cheeks, she kissed him bringing their lips together as they kissed passionately in front of everyone. It was not strange to anyone, they knew what Heeseung and Sakura are. A hook up buddies, nothing less and nothing more.

Behind the closed doors, with the blaring noise of the party outside. Making out together was a routine for them both at this point. As Heeseung removed his shirt, the girl above him were kissing her neck like she was so hungry. Moans, and lewd noises filled the room and along with it, was a ting from Heeseung's phone, not once but thrice.

It took his attention, turning his head to the direction of the phone while the girl above him doing the deed.

Your texts gave a warm feeling to his heart. However he was too invested with Sakura and therefore he decides to continue it with her. The party lasted the entire night, weekends are going to end once again and everyone's are preparing for another Monday. Taking his phone, he opened your chat from last night, and types..

Standing up, leaving his phone on the bed to take a shower. After a few minutes, you replied.

After the second day of knowing you, Heeseung find himself smiling with your silly texts, but keep his cold demeanor only for you to easily break it after a few days. it was something new to him. Ever since knowing you, Heeseung would be spending an alot of time on his phone than usual, whether it be in the party, in the school or at the boy's place. He was always on his phone, blushing and giggling.

In those weeks, your texts pulled strings within Heeseung's heart. Making him giggle and swoon over your little jokes, dirty words and sweet compliments. As days passed, the amount of pictures you both sent to each other increases. You had solved the problem by taking multiple pictures of your older sister with the excuse you gave her "just wanna have an album collection of my pretty sister." But amongst the 'fake pics' you sent, you had also sent a pic of your favourite character's sticker on your hand because why not? Which Heeseung finds cute, and he saved the pic getting an angry emoji from you.

Back in the school, on one table, the boys were chit-chatting with their girls in their arms noticing Heeseung once again on his phone, texting again. Jay shaking his head chuckling at the sight, the older boy was really oblivious to his surrounding. What a lovebird, huh?

"Soooo~ when are you planning to take her to meet us? Hee?" the question took him out of his own world, his smile growing wider, as his cheeks were blushing red. "I'll see." looking sweetly at the texts sent from you. Oh what kind of situation had you put yourself in as you received a text from Heeseung.

Video chat. The thing you've been avoiding smoothly all this time. You were too smart, so you know what to do but upon reading that text for the first time from him, you kinda felt panic but it's no strange to you as you already did this before, however the only difference was this is a guy who's a few years older than you that you were fooling with. Those 'people' you mainly messed around were mostly around your age, so you didn't really take it into consideration.

Smirking, you finally got that word. That magic word. You've finally gotten his heart, finally. There were a mix of feelings inside your heart though, as you were aware that you actually like the boy as well. But you cringe, shaking your head. It was only for fun and also the fact Heeseung was near 20s while you were still in high school was a bit too much. It was just a game, just a game. Few more weeks, and you'll end this soon.

"Wtf, I really hate this phone!!" You hear your older sister groaning so loud the entire house heard her. Going downstairs you see her repeatedly tapping her fingers on her phone, the table with lots of countless papers and notebooks. She's studying so hard, you pouted.

"What's wrong, unnie." Patting her back, you hugged her behind. Taking a deep breath, your sister obviously annoyed by something. "This freakin phone has been acting up all this since two days ago, I can't even fu- call. God."

"It's an old version for a reason, can't you just a buy a new one? "

"Are you kidding me, (name)?" Your sister looks at you with shocked eyes. "This is my first phone since high school, and its a birthday gift from Dad. I even promise him I would use it till I finish college."

"Unnie, you're really a trustworthy person but obviously it's not working already.. So-"

"Screw it, I'll just send it to the phone shop to fix it." sighing, you laughed. Your family was undoubtedly wealthy, and your sister that one rich, gorgeous and popular girl. But if there's one another thing you can describe your older sister; she was someone who holds on to her promises, and that she doesn't break it. She might not be perfect at some things, but you can count on her words once she say it.

"But what you gonna use when you went to college tho, Unnie?"

"Yours." Your sister immediately took your phone in her hands, opening it.

"WHAT!" Your jaw dropped. "Why mineee?" You snatched your phone back, instantly holding your phone closer to your chest. Your sister laughed so hard at your face.

"Just kidding, I'll try to find old phones mom used before." Your sister chuckled. You breathe in relief.

"(Name)! Are you done packing?" You heard your mom asking you while she was on the phone, talking with your grandma.

"Yea! I'm done, mom." You answered back, "Good, remember 8pm tomorrow."

"Yeaaaa, mom." You lazily replied. You look back at your sister who was now writing on her paper, "Unnie, just go with us to Grandma's house." You tugged both her arms pouting.

"I already skipped attending college last year by just taking online class, so this time I want to attend it this year." Your sister patting your head. "But it would be boringgg without you.." Cuddling with your sister brings so much warmth in your heart, you two were not so close growing up together. But after spending an entire year through vacation last year, you two grew closer.

"It's only for 2 weeks, be a big girl okie? And tease our sassy grandma while I'm gone." Laughter filled the room.

"Hmm, when did you grow so big? You were just so short last year.." your sister trying to measure your height.

"Really!?" You beamed up, "Just kidding, you're still short as hell." Hitting your sister on her arm, she laughed at you so hard. "Unnieeee!!"

Going back to your room, checking for any stuff you want to bring to the vacation. Taking your phone, you deleted the dating app. Why? Your grandma, sassy and strict. She won't let you use your phone while on vacation, and sometimes she would check your phone's content which was honestly annoying sometimes. But what can you do, sighing, you can always chat with Heeseung through your laptop though, you thought so it won't be a problem. Opening your phone's gallery which contains of some of Heeseung's picture, you tapped 'Select All' and hid them in a secret folder.

"Just for 2 weeks.." you said as you drifted to sleep leaving your phone, as you shifted your position, your phone fell just under your bed.

Today was the day of vacation, taking your bag with you as you went downstairs. There your parents were checking their bag for the hundredth time if there was anything missing. "Dad, your bag's gonna get a hole in it the more you check it." Laughing at them, they glared at you and you immediately run outside laughing.

"(name)!" You heard your sister called for you. Today was the day she's going back to college too. "Take care and have fun there okay?" Your sister hugged you.

"You too, unnie! And text me when there's any hot guys in your college okay?" Earning a chuckle from your sister.

"Thanks my sweet little sister~" pinching your cheeks, you pouted. "Bye!" Waving a goodbye your sister's figure grew smaller.

Your sister went upstairs to her room, and she sees your door were wide open. "What a silly girl." She thought, as she closed the door, she saw your phone laying on the floor. Shaking her head as to how clumsy you are, taking the phone in her hand. Face palming herself as she realizes she also forgot to ask for an old phone. Eyes landing on your phone in her hand.

"It won't be so bad to use it for awhile, huh?" The screen of your phone brightening up in front of her.

"Heyy!" With earphones in his ear but not playing the music, turning his head at the voice whose none other than Sakura taking a seat beside him, "Hey." He replied somewhat coldly, as the girl beside him frown.

"Don't have any questions?" Sakura pouted. "What questions?" He raised his eyebrows.

"Like what did I do? How was I doing today?" .. "You seem really distant these days."

"Oh. Nothing, there's just so many things in my mind right now." Ruffling his hair, he gave a smile to the girl. "You sure?"

"Yeah, I'm sure. How was your day?" Sakura smiled, "Today was the bestest, cuz guess what.."

"What?"

"My bestie is coming to college today!!" Sakura exclaimed happily, fixing her makeup. "Gotta look good for my bestie." Earning a chuckle from the guy, "You always look good, so don't worry."

After those words came out from his mouth, a loud screams from students can be heard outside the college. Sakura realising who it was stood up so quick motioning Heeseung to follow her outside. His eyes still glued on his phone waiting a text from you, as he walked alongside with Sakura.

"Omg! Chaewon!!" Both girls screaming as they see each other, hugging and crying. Saying how they missed each other so much.

"Omg, Sakura! How have you been!?"

"I'm good, I'm good. College without you is such a pain. But it doesn't matter now since you're here!" Smiling so brightly, Sakura pulled the girl's arms. "Come! The girls would be so excited to see you again."

"And ah, I forgot. Heeseung-ah!" Walking closer to him who was still glued on his phone, "This is Heeseung, the hot popular guy of this college."

"Nice to meet you, Heeseung! I'm Chaewon. You must be Sakura's boyfriend, huh?" Earning a hit from Sakura, "He's not my boyfriend!"

Finally, looking away from his phone. His eyes landed on the short black haired girl in front of him, the sight made his eyes widened.

"You?" He exclaimed. "Purple?"

....

Feeling the cool breeze on your face, and your hand chasing the sunlight while you were laying on the grass field. It feels so cozy, you thought. And you wanted it to last forever, as long as it can. A butterfly appeared out of nowhere flying around your finger as it landed on your hand, as you inspected it closer, you saw its left wing were broken as if someone had ripped it apart.

But the difference was I changed the story to a more complicated one ig? My thoughts on each Riddler

I have a fever and was feeling like I need to state my mind about each individual Riddler there in Batman medium. Obviously not including all of them because the comic book universe is heavily convuled.

This piece is brought to you by me and my delirious ass, enjoy. This doesn't follow any criteria, it's just me going off. As this progresses, I grow unhinged.

💚 Gotham 7/10

My first ever Riddler crush, he's the one who introduced me to the Riddler rabbit hole and the reason why I watched Gotham. Love the season one counterpart because I'm a softie for tall ass dork with glasses who are inherently pathetic. But then season 2 rolled around and I find myself wanting this little bitch to submit to me because like... Nothing fills me with satisfaction than see dominant people fall to their knees in submission.

Though I absolutely hated the relationship he has like, really? Isabella? Lee? Aight before anyone of you comes at me, I love those two gals but not just WITH Eddie. Tbh I stopped watching Gotham because of school works and EdLee. Like, omg kill me.

💚 Young Justice 7/10

He's barely appeared in it, but like, 👁️👅👁️ awooga I knew I've always liked them dweeby nerds. First I wasn't into his voice (cough because I have a thing for voices too) but like it grew on me and god I'd kill to hear his voice crack.

Idk why, I find it adorable when voice cracks it's just so stinken cute ugh. Like this boy sputtering out amid a conversation, flustered, can't even be coherent, then his voice cracks so he reddens more in embarrassment and cover his face?

Okay but anyways, yea I love him. Wished we had more of this little bitch. I like my men flustered and unable to talk from it, thank you very much. I want to break his pelvis by riding him and make him unable to speak and walk properly for the next few days.

💚 Arkhamverse 8/10

This pathetic washed out sewer rat has my neck in a chokehold of love, I LOVE HIM YOUR HONOUR! JRNFNDJCJ it's just that he's so... Rat looking. Though I must say, I have my eyes in his more... Sane looking days at Origin, so fucking sassy and sarcastic and cute and adorable and pretty and look at his slappable ass.

Thoo, I just know if I were to be in a relationship with a person like him irl, I'd fucking leave at like day 3 because your girl, this girl has seen enough red flags and can't really be bothered to take care of men who treat you like trash.

But anyways! I like this dude, he's so well-written and god I'm such a slut that I didn't even played the games and yet I simp and write for this dude like I know his entire story.

💚 Harley Quinn 7/10

Sarcastic, sassy, bitchy, smart, BUFF! God with every muscle he gains the more he loses his smarts, but I don't mind 👀

Since Harley Quinn is getting season three soon, I wish he will have more screen time because gosh I live for this bastard and every single quips he has with other characters.

💚 Batman the animated series 8/10

Okay at a portrayal standpoint, I love the acting of Paul Dano and the new flavour he brought for the new Riddler. He's scary, I was unnecered at him screaming, the Ave Maria singing activated my fight or flight response, but personally I like my Riddlers yassified.

I think Izzy would be the kind of toddler to cry as he's being dropped off at daycare and the staff are like 'don't worry, he'll settle down soon!!' Then when Ed comes to pick him up 4 hours later he is right by the door still crying (((he did actually calm down for a while but then he missed Dada too much)))

Oh my goodness honestly thoo

The staff are trying every tactic to help Izzy calm down, distracting him from missing his Dada but, lil tyke sure is stubborn and upset!!

They are able to settle him down for a small while with a snack and juice box. But then another tiny one is talking about their Dada and Izzy starts crying again and running back to the door ;0;

When Ed comes back, the staff are profusely apologizing, promising they hadn't left him to cry it out. But Ed just waves his hand, "Oh nah it's alright, little lad gets like this when I'm brushing my teeth sometimes. I'd be more concerned if he wasn't like this. Now, can we say bye-bye to the nice staff, Izz?"

Izzy is just hiding his face in Ed's neck, just content to be back in Ed's arms. Ed just does that thing parents do by taking Izzy's hand and making it wave xD

Not to tell you how to do your job or anything, and I don't think it's the audience's place to give suggestions when this is YOUR profession, it's just a small idea that occured to me.

But maybe in the upcoming Auron audio you could add a little note on the screen saying that new Auron content is coming soon, and then like do the same with future compilation videos, since they tend to do so well!! Like to let people know that if they like the characters, this is not where the story ends at all and they should stick around. I say this mainly cause I remember you once talked about how the major numbers on the Finn compilation didn't translate to a major increase in subscribers. Really hope this didn't come off as rude, I just think maybe if people think the compilations are the ENTIRE story it might not occur to them to subscribe!

It also might yield no results at all, idk. I just remember I didn't subscribe until multipleeee videos had been recommended to me over MONTHS, mainly because I had no idea that there was a story to be followed.

I've written like three different responses to this but as I yap on I get new conclusions and ideas. This is v3 of my answer lmfao.

Preface: People don't pay attention to shit and unless you are clever or use a hammer, they do not care. They want the content. ESPECIALLY if they aren't familiar with you. This makes any deliberate Calls to Action run the risk of annoyance rather than making a meaningful impact on conversions.

Bonus note: If a video is scheduled to premiere, there's nothing I can add to it at this point without doing a whole reupload, giving Thoo a bunch of extra work, and all that shit. So that wasn't ever an option anyway.

My approach in this current iteration of how I do things is that rather than slob on somebody's knob begging for a sub, they're encouraged to either watch more videos or go to the homepage. My working hypothesis is that you're actually MORE likely to get a curious viewer to drop by your homepage before they subscribe, because they want to see what else is available.

The most recent changes I made to the channel homepage should make it abundantly clear that there are multiple stories, characters, and styles of content to jump into. Making sure that the homepage is great has probably made a massive difference in that regard, without impacting the videos themselves.

Playlists are horribly underutilized in this niche in particular, and on lots of YouTube channels really. So I made sure to try and nail that down. Still need to get the channel trailer locked in but tbh I don't know how effective those really are in 2024.

All of that being said, a ~15 second welcome intro at the start that explains what the compilation is and invites viewers to sub/explore the playlists would probably be the easiest way to accomplish that without intruding on the listening/viewing experience in a way that feels desperate or pander-y. That in conjunction with the end screen prompt would probably be the easiest way to do it.

I don't feel like that immediately turns massive hit videos into untapped wells of subscribers that I missed out on, it could help contextualize things a little more and who knows, maybe it WOULD be a big deal. Hard to say!

The context for me not immediately being like OH IT'S A SLAM DUNK HOW DID I NOT THINK OF THIS is because I run a very lucrative business converting viewers to patrons and I have very minimal in-video notes about hearing the spicy bits on Patreon. People often figure things out for themselves if they're motivated enough, and you run the risk of chasing them off if you come across like a desperate ass hoe. lmfao

I appreciate the ask, but also can assure you that I've spent several hours mulling over these very specific issues and I've considered just about every angle. If I had included every little detail and wrinkle of information I was cooking up in the various iterations of this answer it would be a mile long. So trust me. I've thought about it in great detail, have worked with people on it, workshopped things and much more!

Y'all got me yappin' up a storm on here lately. lmfao
