tw. ddlg duh, smut, fluff, daddy kink, pacifier
note. umm.. just ddlg w og4 leon 😭 @d10nyx fault!! she did this and . most of this is her doing.. written so late so ignore typos cuz idk I’m . this is frantic and sick and it might be ooc but pleek.. let me LIVE not my best just rambling I think
Your boyfriend has always been, for a lack of better words, strange. Stoic sounds way too serious, and well, to be sardonic you have to be a little more clever with your words. Leon’s cynical.
And yet, you think he likes it more than you do.
For the first time in your life, you see light in his eyes. He might’ve seen God. Eats you out like it’s the second coming and then bends you over for the third.
It started slow, you ease into it like you’re taking his fat cock— But Leon, he comes at you, guns blazing, pacifier in hand and dick rock hard.
“Go on, baby, give daddy a twirl.” He’s always so gentle. And you wonder what sort of demon has gotten into him. You wonder who took your Leon away and gave you daddy instead, but it’s nothing to complain about. “C’mon, baby, aren’t you my little ballerina?”
You are, you so are. So you give him that spin he desires so badly, satisfied by the appreciative groan that leaves his throat at the flirty flutter of your skirt. Angelina Ballerina has taught you well.
“Did you miss me?” Leon asks, the tip of his nose digging into your shoulder when he lays his head down.
A simple nod doesn’t suffice. He hooks his finger in the plastic handle of your pacifier, pops it out to see those spit-slicked lips of yours.
“Daddy taught you how to use your big girl words, baby.” Leon’s face is impassive. It’s hard to tell if he’s mad or if he’s teasing you for the sake of teasing you. He gets off on it, you think.
“I missed you,” you croak out, pawing at his chest.
“Baby.” He clicks his tongue in warning.
“Daddy… I missed daddy.”
“Baby missed daddy?” He says this shit like it means nothing. Like it isn’t enough to throw your entire world off-kilter.
(An hour later, when you hand Leon a beer and ask him if he’s alright, he’ll say something mildly suicidal to the point of concern. The shame of being your daddy is all-consuming, and to be honest, it’s a little funny when he comes down like that. Head in his hands, talking ‘bout how he can’t do that again— Can’t do no more of that, back to plain ol’ dick, no daddy, no princess parts, he’s tossing the rubbers out— Not the condoms, just that pacifier.)
“Mhm.” You nod, lips smacking against nothing, the taste of rubber lingers.
“Look at that,” Leon coos, “need something in that little mouth, hm?”
You nod again, pleading him with your eyes alone for the comfort of your pacifier.
“No, baby, this cute little mouth is made for daddy’s cock.” It comes out so easy. Like he’s made for it, to be a perverted fucking freak all for you. He excels at it, you wonder if he’d consider leaving his job to do this full-time.
He lays you down on the couch, kisses your ankle and then spreads your thighs to nose at your fat pussy through your heart-print panties, pointed nose bumping your clit when he drags it through the seam.
“Daddy…” you whine, and your hole flutters when he mouths at your clothed cunt.
“Oh, I know, my baby, my poor baby, you need daddy’s kisses, yeah?” He says this all straight-faced. “Need daddy’s kisses to make it all better.” Leon bites your chubby pussy lips, and then he squishes them together to make your clit tingle.
Daddy’s promised kisses never come. When he peels off your sticky undies, stringy slick webbing from your puffy cunt to the soaked crotch of your panties. Instead of his hot mouth or those perfect lips on your clit, the rubbery nub of your pacifier runs along your folds, sucked into your greedy hole as it pulses, pussy squelching as you push it out and Leon pushes it back in.
“Noo… That’s dirty, daddy.”
“No, honey, that little mouth is dirty.” Leon unbuckles his belt. “Gotta wash it out with soap.”
“Didn’t do nothing, daddy.” Pouting your way out of it never works. ‘Cause he punishes you on a whim.
“You’re talking back to daddy, baby,” he hums, thick thighs on either side of your head, “we can’t have that can we, pumpkin?” He feeds the tip of his dick past your parted lips, drippy pre coating your tongue. “Much better.”
You beg to differ. No offence to Leon, but you’d take the taste of rubber over the salt of his precum any day. It’s softer though. Velvety in your mouth as you suckle, looking up at him sweetly ‘cause Leon likes your pretty eyes. He wraps a hand around the base to pull his cock from your mouth, it slips out with a wet pop.
“That’s all my baby can take,” he says.
“Mhm, daddy.” No it’s not.
“You’re too little for daddy, aren’t you? Gotta be careful, don’t want you to hurt yourself, baby.”
“Mhm, daddy.” No you’re not, you take it to the hilt on most nights.
“Yeah, so give it a kiss, baby, help daddy cum,” Leon says, jerking his cock while you press open-mouthed kisses to the leaky head, lapping at the slit till his seed dribbles out like icing from a piping bag. Your pacifier is taken out of your pussy, he rubs the nub on your lips to clean it off, and you know he’s feeling mean enough to neglect that ache in your clit.
The embarrassment settles in a moment later. For Leon, never for you. He groans softly when you crawl into his lap, lifting his shirt to feel his hardened stomach, the softness of his chest. To spare himself of any more Totally Spies talk, he smushes your face into his chest and you latch onto his nipple knowing how much he hates (read: loves) it.

You have something that Raph needs. He’s been tracking you for months and he knows that you have a piece of the armor he needs for the resurrection of the Shredder.
And he’s never been one for plans, so…
He breaks in through your window.
You scream and then he screams and you’re holding on with an impressive grip on the armor piece and….
And you’re…. you’re so… cute. He suddenly lets go of the glove and you go flying back, knocking your head against the wall. He lets out an eep and rushes over, cradling your head.
You look pretty freaked out at his change of heart and he doesn’t blame you.
How he’s going to explain this to the Foot Lieutenant and the Foot Brute, he has no idea.
They take your introduction pretty well. So do you, by how you actually willingly hand over the glove.
But… your reaction when you find out about the Shredder at the baseball game destroys any loyalty he has left for the Foot Clan. He can’t bear to see that terrified expression on your face when you look at him.
Leo may have snuck up to the part of the hotel Big Mama told him to stay away from. But how could she blame him? People watching was his favorite past time! Who better to watch than some stupid humans?
And when his eyes landed on you, he just knew he had to have you. He wouldn’t regret it even when Big Mama punished him. If he hadn’t have snuck up to the floors above ground, he wouldn’t never seen you.
And anyways, his was birthday was coming up… and Big Mama said he could have anything he wanted. He grinned to himself, deciding to sneak into your room that night to ‘introduce’ himself. He’d leave a sticky note and scare you. Just a little.
Big Mama adored you. She gave you all these clothes so that you could look as perfect as her and Leo. She used for entertainment for the other Yokai, even when Leo glared on with jealously.
Soon enough, she was going to get her hands on some mysterious green ooze from three other turtles that looked suspiciously like Leo. As long as Leo didn’t find out about it, you would be the perfect test subject. And wouldn’t it be so sweet to see a lover’s quarrel in the Battle Nexus? She giggles at the thought.
Donatello has been bugged by you for a while.
In one of his rare outings to New York, obviously not letting Draxum know, he had run into you. He had been trying to break into a tech store and then you had appeared behind him.
He broke your nose but he hadn’t been left i scratched.
Then he just kept running into you again and again. He was half inclined just to kill you, but he feels like it would annoy him more with how much effort that would be towards someone like you.
You were annoying and just as mean as he was to you. It irritated him whenever you came back with a comment just as sharp as what he gave you.
One day, in one of his complaining rants to Mikey, Draxum overheard. Even though Donnie denied that it, Draxum was convinced he had a crush on a pathetic human. So, he decided he would kill you. As if you were nothing. Just scum on the Earth. All so Donnie wouldn’t be ‘distracted’ any longer. By that he meant he just wanted Donnie to work insane hours so Draxum wouldn’t have to work as hard.
And Donnie… couldn’t let that happen. He wouldn’t let a single hair on you be injured.
There’s an angry turtle staring you down. Michelangelo and you had run into each other. One looking beat up and the other looking flabbergasted.
“You’re a… turtle?!”
Suddenly, you’re wrapped up in chains. That burnt badly.
“Ow!” you shriek and suddenly, just as quickly as they had come, they vanished. Big brown guilty eyes stare at you.
His face twitches before it turns disgusted. “Ugh. You smell disgusting.”
He was talking about the smell of your brunt skin. You glared at him angrily before seeing how bashed up he was. “What… happened to you?”
He was very reluctant to follow you home. And he kept asking you weird questions about other green turtles. Had you ever seen anyone that looked like him? Where? When? All these questions while you tried to stick a bandaid on him.
He also didn’t hold back on his mean comments about the human race. But as long as he sat still as you tried to rub the ash and debris off of him, you just let him talk.
Quickly, he warms up to you. It’s as if he never hated humans. He enjoys learning about everything you do and seeing all of what New York has to offer. He knows you can never meet Draxum. And even though he’s getting suspicious the more he leaves and the longer he’s out, Mikey continues to see you.

12 Days of Christmas Masterlist
Tumblr media
It's early Christmas morning and the house is silent. I’m sleeping soundly, stealing most of the covers from Idris as he is sprawled across the majority of the bed. I begin to stir once I hear tiny footsteps approaching my room. I shift, hiding my head under the blanket when I hear the door burst open.
“IT’S CHRISTMAS! IT’S CHRISTMAS!” Our 5-year-old daughter, Heaven, shouts as she jumps on the bed, stepping on her father.
"Ah! Heaven, darling, please!" He grimaces as he's suddenly awoken from his slumber, shifting under the blanket and sitting up. He reaches out and grabs her mid-jump, pulling her into his lap. "Do you know what time it is, princess?" He questions groggily and Heaven beams brightly.
"It's Christmas time, Daddy!" She says excitedly and jumps on his lap. I hear footsteps approaching me and then the blanket is pulled away from my face. I squint as the light hits my eyes and bury my face in the pillow.
"Mommy, get up! We made you guys breakfast." Our oldest son Jason tells me, before pulling the rest of the blankets off, causing me to shiver.
"JJ, please just give us five minutes, okay?" I ask, but he shakes his head.
"The food will be cold by then, Mommy!" My heart drops at the realization and Idris and I make eye contact. He sees the stressed look forming on my face and gives me a reassuring one back, turning to the kids.
"Right, Heaven, Jason, it's still early. Why don't you give your mum and me a few more minutes to get ready and then we will be down." He offers, but they don't relent. Heaven continues to bounce up and down and Jason can't seem to contain his excitement.
"We can't, Daddy! It's Christmas! We shouldn't have to wait." His smile is wider as he can't wait to go downstairs and show us what they made. Idris groans and I bury my face again.
"Alright, alright, you monsters. Calm down for a minute." He starts as he stands up and tosses Heaven over his shoulder, making her giggle. "What exactly have you three been up to, huh? Don't tell me you've been cookin' on the stove." He peers at Jason, who smiles and shakes his head again.
"We didn't use the stove, we used the microwave! We made our own special cookies and even decorated them! Come on!" He grabs my hands, pulling me out of bed and leading us both out of the room. We exchange a horrified look, imagining the mess in the kitchen. And we've still not seen our youngest yet. Hopefully, he's asleep.
Upon entering the kitchen, the smell of burnt cookies hits us. I sigh nervously as we round the corner. The kitchen is a mess, with flour and butter everywhere! There's frosting and sprinkles smeared on the counter and an incriminating stepping stool beneath the area. Behind the island, I see two little feet sticking out. I walk over, careful to avoid any mess on the floor and see our youngest son, Luke, on the floor eating frosting from the tube. He smiles as he looks up at me.
"Mommy! Mommy!" He shouts as he stands up and hugs my legs. I begin to regret wearing shorts as his sticky fingers come in contact with my skin.
"Oh, sweetie..." I say, groaning a bit as I take everything in.
"We made a little mess... But aren't the cookies pretty?" Heaven asks, presenting a plate of holiday mush. It seems as if they'd mixed up flour, sugar, and water, and threw it in the microwave, topping it off with green and red frosting and snowflake sprinkles. Heaven and Luke look so proud of their creation and Jason is giggling to himself, obviously the ringleader and brains behind this whole operation. I try to control my temper, after all, it's too early and it's Christmas. Idris chuckles and lifts Luke up into his arms, careful not to get any icing on himself. He turns to Heaven and takes the plate from her, placing it on the counter.
"Those cookies are incredible, princess!" He says, causing all of the kids to smile. I shake my head gently and put on a smile. This was bound to happen at some point. They're kids and it's Christmas. And I can't be mad at them, they all look so proud of themselves.
"They're absolutely amazing, you guys. But..." I bend down to look Jason and Heaven in the eye. "Remember, you need to ask Mommy and Daddy if you can use the kitchen. It's not safe to do it by yourself. Okay?" They both smile and nod.
"Okay, Mommy, we'll make sure to ask next time," Jason says with a happy smile. I give them both a kiss and pat their backs.
"Now," Idris starts, "why don't you two clean up in here while I clean up your brother?" He says to our older kids. They frown a bit, groaning.
"Hey, none of that. You guys did a nice thing for Mommy and Daddy by making these pretty cookies, but you need to clean up after yourselves as well." I explain to them.
"Yes ma'am." They reply in unison. Jason grabs a broom from the closet and Heaven goes under the sink to find a sponge to clean the counters with, using her stepping stool to reach the mess. Before wiping the mess away, she drags her finger through the frosting and licks it, causing me to grimace as I watch her enjoy her work. I turn to Idris and he chuckles, before kissing my cheek.
"Be right back, love." He says, giving me a charming smile, before propping Luke up on his side. "Come here, buddy. We gotta get you cleaned off." He says as he walks up the stairs with our youngest.
I walk over to Heaven and help her wipe the counter, helping her put away the baking tray. She still tries to sneak some frosting, licking it off her fingers before wiping her hands on the kitchen towel. I shake my head at her and she giggles. Jason catches everything that was wiped off of the counter with the broom, sweeping it into the dustpan and trashing it.
"Okay, you two. You're doing such a great job at cleaning up, thank you." I say to them both, smiling down at them. "Once we're done here, how about we open some presents?" I suggest and they both cheer at the mention of presents.
"Let's open them now! Pleaseeee!" Heaven begs and I laugh to myself.
"No, we gotta wait until Dad's done cleaning up Luke, duh!" Jason says back to her, causing her to pout. She crosses her arms and frowns. I shake my head at them.
"Let's just finish cleaning up. I'm sure Daddy will be done by then and then we can start, okay?" I offer them a warm smile.
"Okay, Mommy," Heaven says, going back to cleaning. Idris soon returns with Luke following after him, in a new set of pajamas and looking squeaky clean.
"Yay! Daddy's here! Can we start now, Mommy?" She asks as she turns to me. I laugh a bit and nod.
"Yes, sweetie, we can start," I say and all three of the kids rush to the living room and sit on the floor around the tree. Idris grabs my hand and I smile at him as we both take our seats on the couch, his arm wrapping around my shoulder. Heaven spots a present with her name on it and squeals happily, turning to us with bright eyes.
"You ready to open, princess?" He asks and she nods rapidly, tearing the paper away. She gasps as underneath the wrapping paper is a black Barbie doll with a beautiful pink dress and sparkling shoes. She looks up at us with a grin, thrilled with her gift. Heaven jumps up and kisses me and her dad on the cheeks.
"Thank you, Mommy! Thank you, Daddy!" She says, hugging the gift close.
"You're welcome, baby," I say with a content smile.
"Take good care of her," Idris adds, smiling as well. Jason and Luke look at us with hopeful eyes, waiting for their turn. "Well, what are you guys waiting for? Jump in!" He says and the boys excitedly grab gifts of their own, ripping them open. Luke squeals happily as he gets a fire engine with colorful blocks that snap together and Jason gets a brand new Lego set.
The room is filled with the childish sounds of laughter and excitement as the kids open more Christmas gifts. Idris and I exchange glances, basking in the warmth of the joyous moment unfolding before us. The chaotic morning, filled with mishaps and messes, now seems like a distant memory, replaced by the pure happiness on our children's faces.
As the Christmas frenzy dies down, Idris turns to me with a mischievous glint in his eyes. He reaches under the tree and pulls out a beautifully wrapped box that was hidden at the back, topped off with a bow that sparkles like freshly fallen snow.
"For my beautiful wife," He says with a warm smile, handing me the gift. I look at him with surprise, not expecting this, but accepting the gift anyway. I grin as I carefully unwrap the present. Inside, I find a stunning necklace, a beautiful chain accompanied by a pendant shaped like a snowflake, glistening with tiny diamonds. I gasp, overwhelmed by the thoughtful gesture.
"Idris!" I cover my mouth in shock and his smile grows wider as he sees my reaction. "It's so beautiful!" I exclaim, my fingers gently tracing the intricate details of the pendant. Idris beams with satisfaction, his eyes never leaving mine.
"I saw it and I thought it would be perfect for you. Like each snowflake is unique, so is my love for you." Touched by his words, I lean in and press a tender kiss to his lips. The kids all collectively cringe at us.
"Ewwww!" They shout at our display of affection, but we don't let it stop us. He puts the necklace around my neck and I move my hair out of the way to show it better.
"How does it look?" I ask, doing a little pose. Idris chuckles and takes my hand, kissing it lightly.
"Perfect, just like you." He says, causing me to blush at his words. However, not being one to be outdone, I reach under the tree and hand Idris a carefully wrapped gift of his own.
"Darling, you shouldn't have." He winks playfully. He grins like a child, tearing the paper away with eagerness. Inside, he sees a brand new watch, something he's been eyeing for a while now. He inspects the watch closely, looking both pleased and surprised. "This is incredible, Y/N. I love it."
"And I made sure the band was in your exact size, so no need to get it fitted either," I add and he looks at me adoringly. He puts the watch on, giving it a thorough look over.
"Just in the nick of time." He smiles cheekily and I roll my eyes.
"You're so cheesy sometimes, you know that?" I laugh.
"Guilty as charged, my love." He grins sheepishly. He wraps his arm back around my shoulder and gives me a kiss. After taking a break from toys and getting some breakfast, everyone does their own thing. The kids are now playing, occupied with their own little world. The only sounds that fill the room are the laughter and joy of the kids, along with the quiet murmur of Idris and my voice as we chat and relax. It's a content and cozy day.
Idris and I are still on the couch, cuddled up and watching a Christmas movie under a blanket. Eventually, Jason comes and sits next to us and Luke climbs up on Idris's lap, leaning against him. Heaven sits on the other couch, still playing with the new accessories she got with her new doll.
Luke starts to yawn adorably and Idris kisses him playfully on the head, before yawning himself. He looks at me and I stretch, yawning as well. We look over at Jason, who's fast asleep with the TV remote in his hand. I yawn again and then glance over at Heaven, who is also asleep, her head resting against the back of the couch. I smile and lean my head on Idris's shoulder, wrapping the blanket around us. The house is filled with silence, except for the soft sound of the movie on the TV.
I close my eyes, letting the sounds of the movie fill my ears. Idris's arm wraps around my waist, pulling me closer to him, and with his other hand, he cradles Luke gently as he sleeps. With all the children peacefully snoozing, it's just me and him for this moment. It's calm, soothing and comfortable.
"I love you," Idris whispers, kissing my head softly. I smile and nuzzle into his neck.
"I love you too, sweetheart," I whisper back, before letting my eyes fall shut. I take in the warm and comfortable silence, not thinking about anything else besides the peaceful ambiance we seem to bask in right now. I know we should probably get up and put the kids in their rooms, but I don't want to disturb the peace. We've had a wonderful Christmas and I'm reminded, once again, how much I love my family.

beach day episode mekakushi dan. which ones dont know how to swim??? (obligatory seto and momo joke) AND/OR who is afraid of the water?
HMMMM well of course seto and momo are afraid of it. i think they try to shrug it off and do a lot of Sand Activities ignoring that they're afraid. momo takes a bazillion selfies at the shore and screams when she gets splashed. i think guys like takane and kano would be a threat to them bc they have the Water Guns and now The Water Is On Ground and it freaks them out❤️
i think hibiya&hiyori are great swimmers idk why. i think theyre the kinda kids to spend every single summer at the beach, so they give WATER DOMINATING lessons to seto and momo, to get over their fear and also teach them to swim.
ayano kido and kano are fine in the water i think the tateyamas for sure had summer vacations at the beach ❤️ its not seto's first time in the beach, he probably used to stay on ground back then too.
oh u asked who would be afraid. ERMMM other than seto and momo i dont think anyone's scared. as for who doesn't know how to swim, mary. mary definitely never went to the beach or even a pool like Man i get so emotional with mary bc she never ever went anywhere in her life, and then when she moved in with the mekatrio she is also described as a shut in. but despite that she isn't unwilling to go out and was super excited about the amusement park, and there she was SUPER serious about visiting every single attraction... so personally i think that despite she's described as a shut in (kido and kano probably didnt go out a whole bunch either) i like to think the 4 of them went places together. not like the beach or even a restaurant but they probably have gone to a park and stuff idk
anyways that said, mary is suddenly seeing in real life things she's only seen in pictures/tv and read of!!! imagine her first time seeing the OCEAN!!!! thats gotta be so exciting!!! considering her attitude she'd be totally over the moon and would wanna learn how to swim IMMEDIATELY. tbh she'd be clumsy but probably has a pool float yknow the ones that are like a donut and ur inside chilling and playing from there. i think thats what she'd do!!! shes disappointed seto can't join in and that rly motivates him to try to get in the water. if he doesn't manage she definitely comes out the water to build sand castles with him and take a walk to pick up seashells :3
others who can't swim are a classic. shintaro and haruka. I'd also say takane but while i do think she was mostly kept away from sports and stuff i THINK takane Can swim, i don't think she skipped swimming lessons during elementary/middle school. so she's like. Ok at it. she's also rly excited about water guns and chasing YOU CHASING YOU CHASING YOU CHASING YOU CHASING Y
shintaro on the other hand can't swim, iirc this is canon cuz momo wanted to go on her trip with her dad to learn to swim Super good and then teach shintaro. ofc this didnt happen Lol and we know shintaro is the opposite of a sporty person so yea he also can't swim. in fact i think he just stays off the water and inside the tent with his phone. he hates it here its hot and he has sand in his ass he wants to go home. ayano keeps trying to drag him in the water 💔💔💔 i imagine ayano getting out the water like soaking wet with her hair all sticky and her eyelashes dripping with water like. VERY LITTLE KID ASKING YOU TO PLAY MERMAIDS WITH THEM ENERGY and goes to get shintaro and he's like AUGGHHH AYANO GET OUT YOURE GETTING WATER INSIDE THE TENT and ayano's breathing heavily like COME PLAY
i think shintaro ends up falling on the water on his stomach and face at least once and he's all icky about tasting the salty water. also takane definitely shoots him and he's DEFINITELY wearing a shirt so his shirt gets all soaked and he's so mad about it. on a more wholesome note i think he'd probably start a huge sand castle cuz hes bored and it gets RIDICULOUSLY huge and it looks amazing. people keep gathering to take pics of it. he probably wins some sand castle contest he didn't even know they were holding and makes a bunch of 10 year olds building castles with their dads rly upset
as for haruka. he DEFINITELY never swam😭 but i think haruka is just the kind to dip his feet in the water and sit there like Ah...effervescent..... while wearing a huge fucking hat to protect his paper white skin from the sun. ratio + takane shoots him with water gun + ayano splashes water on him begging him to get in the water. im describing ayano and takane as such menaces to poor haruka and shintaro but i think that's how it'd be. haruka is out of his comfort zone and excited but wants to take it easy, shintaro doesnt wanna be here AT ALL while takane and ayano are like OK WE ARE PLAYING THOUGH :3 SPLASH SPLASH SPLASH SPLASH
kido can swim but i think they share this sentiment with haruka. they both kinda wanna chill at the shore with their big ass hats is that too much to ask (it is) (everyone attacks them) i think haruka also gets excited abt the water guns eventually. i think he and takane go a little crazy on each other with those. in my vision kano and takane are annoying everyone with the water guns and when kano gets bored and goes do something else haruka takes his place but instead of attacking anyone else he attacks takane. fatal mistake. they both end up like my ayano description from earlier. little kids dripping water after swimming for 2 hours energy. when kido loses their chilling by the shore buddy to takane they probably go see what's up with momo and seto cuz thats their gf and brother they wanna help..
UMMM i kinda talked about everyone even if they could or couldnt swim lol. ayano and kano are left ermmm ayano like i said A fucking menace it is her goal to get everyone in the water at once (except seto and momo cuz she gets it) and she probably wants to do beach volleyball or some shit everyone sucks at later. she's the Game Organizer. probably her idea to go to the beach. and she's playing mermaids with mary so much. SO MUCH
and kano is kinda everywhere i think. he's in the tent bothering shintaro. he's with hibiya and hiyori trying to get momo and seto in the water. he's with takane terrorizing haruka and kido with water guns. he's with mary and ayano playing in the water pretending to be a shark to freak out mary (he cant use deceiving cuz ayano wont let him since anyone else at the beach could get freaked out but he DOES keep going underwater and pinches mary's legs to scare her)
mekakushi dan beach episode❤️

I was almost done writing this when I came across this post that’s a perfect for this little jawn.
Drive-Thru
Rated: NSFW 😈
———————————
“Watch where you’re going, babe. You gone fuck my shit up.”
She’d nearly hit a stopped car in the drive thru of Erik’s favorite fast food spot. The line was wrapped around the building.
“Well that’s what you get for making me drive. You know I hate driving,” she pouted.
Erik simply raised a brow at her and pointed to the boot on his foot. He broke it trying to break her fall. He told her it wasn’t a good idea to climb her ass on the counter and stand on it to reach the top shelf of plates. But he still flew to her rescue when he saw her wobbling, not knowing the floor was wet from a glass of water she spilled on her climb up. She regained her balance before she fell but he instead cascaded to the floor with a loud thud. He hobbled on his foot for a week before she made him go to the doctor. That was yesterday.
She felt guilty about it, which is why she was the one driving and not him like always. But she didn’t have any less of an attitude about it than she normally would.
“Cool ya puss, baby...” He gripped up as much of her thigh as he could squeeze. The short, thin, baby doll dress she wore made it easy. “...before I cool it for you.”
She huffed in frustration at him telling her to chill but also because his warm, rough hands had worked her up that quick. They always did, no matter the time or place. Even in the drive thru of Erik’s favorite chicken spot.
“But Eriiiiiiik-,” she whined.
“Hush,” he whispered as he leaned over and nuzzled his face in her neck, attaching his supple lips to her. She soon realized the attention to her neck was merely a distraction when she felt two fingers gently pressing against either side of her clit.
“Fuh-fuck, Erik.” Her fingers dug into his forearm but it did nothing to stop him from making circles up, down and around her sensitive bundle. She let out a silent scream when his thick finger slid between her engorged pussy lips and went inside her.
“That’s what I thought. Shut the fuck up.”
She looked at him with pleading eyes, vigorously nodding her head like the good girl she was.
They were so wrapped up in each other that they missed the car in front of them moving up in the line. A honk from another car momentarily brought them out of the lusty haze they created within the confines of his SUV.
“Think you can pull up with two of my fingers inside you?”
He slid another digit in before she could reply. The surprise and pleasure of his action shot a jolt of pleasure through her body, causing her foot to hit the gas pedal unexpectedly. She had to slam on the brakes to not hit the car in front of them.
“Careful baby. I’d hate to have to chastise you for fucking up my car...but then again, I’d love to punish yo thick ass right now, especially after what happened to my foot.”
“But daddyyyy—“ so much pressure was building from the work of his fingers inside her that her vision was blurring. “You said—you said you didn’t blame me.”
He used the pad of his other thumb to wipe a single tear from the apple of her cheek. The guilt and pleasure she was experiencing was too much.
“I don’t blame you, baby. But next time imma let cho hard-headed ass fall.” Erik’s head nodded to the front of the car. “Time to order. You know what I want.”
“Welcome to Clucky’s, what can I get you today?” The voice from the intercom was bright and clear.
“Umm, hi,” she replied with shaky breath. “Can I get a number threeee?”
Erik decided in that moment he’d latch himself to her nipple. He didn’t even bother to lift her dress up. The warm breath of his mouth seeped through the material, completely overwhelming her senses.
“Is that all, ma’am?”
“Order my shit,” he demanded in her ear as his thumb flicked at her clit tirelessly.
“And a number 10, please.”
“Look at this pussy, got you creaming down my fingers. You wishing it was daddy’s dick, don’t you?”
“Did you say cream, ma’am? We don’t sell coffee after breakfast.” The cashier obviously heard Erik’s nasty ass.
“Uhhh I mean mayo, shit!” She said, trying to cover it up, embarrassed.
She quickly closed the window and lifted her dress, whimpering as she watched his fingers go in and out of her. The milky, creamy wetness she produced was having a serious effect on her man too. Her eyes traveled over to the ever-growing pipe in his joggers, yearning for her hands, begging to feel as good as her pussy felt right now. His eyes caught hers and gave her a silent warning not to touch him. She ignored it and reached over anyway, gently massaging the bulb of his dick over his sweats. He grunted in pleasure, despite the look of disapproval on his face. She couldn’t help herself. She loved to make daddy feel as good as he made her feel.
“Ok babygirl, since you don't want to listen, you better make me cum before we get to the window or imma bend your ass over the trunk and fuck you in the parking lot. You want everybody to see me wrecking yo shit?”
Part of her did. And he knew it.
Her cheeks burned at the thought of Erik fucking her pussy with dozens of eyes on them but the thought of other women looking at him in the lustful, longing way she did filled her with unwarranted jealousy. A jealousy that made her pussy all the more slippery. To know women wanted him but he only wanted her was a turn-on itself. He knew how her mind worked and that the words he said would have the exact effect on her that they did.
“Aye—“ he pinched her hardened nipple to bring her back to the moment. “Make me cum.”
She was excited and nervous. Erik had the stamina of a marathon runner. The nigga never came fast, her begging him to ‘please nut’ was a frequent occurrence during their lovemaking. Now he was demanding she make him cum in a matter of minutes, and now the line was actually moving past a snail’s pace. Sis was running out of time.
She widened her plush thighs to give Erik more access and a better view. He always praised the beauty of the deep brown to bright pink ombré of her pussy when he was in it. It was a start, but she’d certainly have to do a lot more.
“Daddy, why’s your dick so hard all of a sudden?” she asked innocently, sliding her delicate hand into his pants and pulling out all 8.75inches. She gasped at the sight of it. Seeing it in the daytime with rays of sunlight shining on it was a sight to behold. “Is that my fault too?”
The only answer she received was the visible tightening of Erik’s jaw and beads of precum slowly trickling from his tip. She moved his natural lube around him, focusing on the head of his dick, knowing it was his most sensitive area. Her hand cupped the soft skin of his tip and made circular motions around it while he continued finger-fucking her.
“Ooo shit Erik, that feels so good baby. Can you add another finger, please?” His eyes bulged and she felt his dick twitch in her hand. “Fuck daddy, yes, yes. I’m gonna cum so soon...thank you daddy, thank you... You’re making me cum so hard for you, I can’t take it...fuck I can’t...fuhhhhhkk!!”
Her hand momentarily paused the work it was doing on Erik’s dick as she came, but that didn’t stop her from noticing the rapid pulsing of it as she orgasmed. Her daddy loved to watch her cum with his thick fingers inside of her.
“That’s my pretty baby, get that good nut.” The sound of his voice with his fingers still filling her hole had her wanting her another cum, but it was his turn.
“Can I make you cum now, daddy?”
“You better. We’re almost at the window.”
She glanced down at his hand inside of her and gently pulled out his fingers, her aroma filling the confined space even more. Erik closed his eyes and deepened his back into the seat, the smell of her bringing him to that familiar, blissful state she and her pussy always put him in. His moment of calm was quickly lifted when he felt his own hand sliding up and down his dick. Erik looked down to see his babygirl’s hand over his using the juices from his fingers—from her pussy—to wet his dick up.
“You nasty, clever little slut—you making daddy use his own hand to cum? Hmm?”
“Please don't be mad daddy. I’m helping, see?” She guided his hand back to her glossy pussy and scooped out more of her sticky cum and made him stroke himself with her juices again. This resourceful bitch. He smiled proudly at her, his eyelids slowly fluttering from their collaborative stroke.
She leaned over to him, grabbing the back of his neck and pulling him into her for a slow, lazy kiss. She dominated it and him in a way that was rare for her. They moaned into each other with need as she continued the swift cycle of wetting his fingers with her pussy and jacking his dick.
“Mmmm daddy, I think imma cum again…” she whispered against his lips.
“Do it. My baby deserves another nut.”
“I do? Cuz I’m a good girl for you?” She kept up her motions on them.
“Yes. Only for me. My good girl with the pretty kitty.”
She unexpectedly bent down to deep throat Erik. The taste of herself on his dick excited her. She gagged on his thick member a few times before looking up at him and letting out a mangled “I love you.” He held her head in place as he exploded in her mouth, cum escaping out the sides as she desperately tried to swallow it all. When she was done, he pulled her back up to his lips and kissed her gently, despite his heavy breathing. He released her in time for her to pull up to the window.
“Sorry for the wait ma’am. Y’all had the number three and—“
Her eyes followed the cashier’s line of vision back into the car and straight into Erik’s lap, where his dick stood erect against his stomach.
“The fuck you looking at? You ain’t never seen a dick before?!” Erik’s girl’s attitude and acute jealousy was unmatched. It was part of the reason he stayed on hard for her. She was like him in a lot of ways, just wrapped in a fluffier , cuter package.
“Baby, chill,” he requested softly. She yanked their food from the cashier and sped off without paying.
“...and what the fuck you mean ‘baby chill’ you the one with cha damn dick out in the middle of a drive-thru!”
“You pulled it out though.”
“Whatever nigga, I’m never driving again. Fuck this and fuck you!”
“I love you too, babygirl.”

You Can Count On Me
A/N: Chapter 5
••••
She steps off the dirt path and onto the small dock. Her presence doesn’t even effect him, which is concerning. “I thought I’d find you here.”
He doesn’t have the energy to respond, his thoughts are swirling and the anxiety he’s been having about this situation is bubbling to the surface more and more each day, especially because of her. His cerulean blues stay focused on the ripples of the water surrounding his feet.
Kicking off her flip-flop, the brunette takes a seat next to him on the old dock, putting her bare feet in the cool pond water right along side his. She turns to look at him, wondering what’s going on inside his head and for a moment as the sun illuminates is silhouette, something inside her heart shifts. “Why’d you run off like that?”
“I guess I just got a little bit overwhelmed by it all.”
“All of what?”
“The thought of going off to college and making something of myself.”
She huffs a laugh, shaking her head in disbelief.
Marty quickly whips his head around, affronted by his best friend’s reaction. “I’m glad you’re enjoying my misery.”
She scoots closer to him, encircling his forearm with her own arms. “No, Marty its not...I’m laughing because you obviously haven’t been paying attention to what I’ve been saying for the past 7 years.”
“Enlighten me.”
“Don’t you realize what you mean to your mom, to my parents...to me? Marty, you’ve already made something of yourself. You are the kindest, funniest and best person I know. You changed my life; you’ve changed so many people’s lives.”
“Really?”
A soft smile crosses her features at the childlike hope in his cerulean blues. “Hey, have I ever lied to you before?”
“No.”
“Exactly. And I never will.” She states matter of factly before leaning her head against his shoulder, soaking in the beautiful glow of the setting sun cascading across the water with the person who makes her feel so safe it’s kinda ridiculous.
The tension in his body slowly ebbs away at his best friend’s words as the scent of lavender beautifully assaults his nose. Taking a deep calming breath, he leans his head against hers, knowing that whatever life throws at him, she’ll be there. He can count on that. “I know.”
••••
Stepping of the dirt trail and onto the old dock like she’s done so many times before, the brunette takes in the picture before her. There he is, clothes tattered, scars across his beautiful face, but he’s alive and that’s all that matters.
He turns around already feeling her presence ease the tension away from his battered body. His sorrowful blue eyes meet those of sweetly intense brown and the shine that glistens in them. Shaking his head in defeat, he realizes how close he had come to never seeing her again.
Kensi doesn’t give him a chance to say anything before she’s closing the distance between them, throwing her arms around him, she’s able to relax for the first time in four months. “You’re safe.”
His body clings to hers, hands grasping at her shirt feeling as though they can’t get close enough. That lavender scent that is so uniquely her fills his nostrils, immediately bringing him a sense of self. She’s here. He’s here. They’re here together and that’s all that matters. “Yeah, for now.”
“I thought you were dead.”
“Not yet. Maybe tomorrow.”
She pulls back, a cross between anger and hurt written across her features. “Don’t.”
“Sorry.” The blonde apologizes, regretting his words the moment they left his lips.
Without thinking, her finger finds the red scrape on his cheek. “Are you okay?”
The feel of her skin against his brings back memories of that night a few months ago. He wants that again so bad. So bad he can almost taste it, but there’s something he has to take care of before he can even think about moving forward with her. “I’ll be better when I catch Lazik.”
“Woah. Woah. Woah. What do you mean when you catch Lazik?”
“I have to finish this, Kens.”
Seeing the determination set in his soulful blue eyes she knows there’s no stopping him, but she’ll be damned if he thinks she’s going to stand idly by. “No, we have to finish this.”
“I suppose I could use some backup.” He smirks, earning a playful nudge from his partner.
••••
A resounding gasp fills the agents ears as the tech operator discovers who the third vehicle belongs to. “Car’s registered to Dale John Sully.”
Kensi tilts her head back against the head rest in exasperation when Eric confirms that her best friend’s undercover persona is indeed inside the warehouse, putting his life in even more danger than before. “Callen, that’s Marty’s alias.”
The team leader shakes is head wondering why he’s so surprised that the detective is indeed in another sticky situation. “Your boy just loves trouble, doesn’t he.”
She stares at the roof of the car for a minute, thinking about Callen’s words. “It’s funny, cuz when we were growing up, it was always the other way around.”
“Kens, I’m not so sure this is a good idea.” Marty looks around the backyard nervously as his best friend pulls out the power saw from her dad’s tool shed.
“What are you talking about? It’s just a little tree house.”
“Yeah, but what’s your dad gonna say when he catches us with his power tools?”
The brunette begins to pull out the sawhorse before turning around to meet the 13 year old’s worried eyes.“He’s not gonna catch us and you’re not gonna tell him either.”
He feels a unfamiliar thud in his heart when the challenging spark in her mismatched orbs meet his.“Has anyone ever told you how cute you are when you’re homicidally angry?”
“In fact they have and he was never seen again.”
Taking a deep breath, Kensi focuses on the here and now. Rescuing Marty’s ass, just so she can kill him herself for going in alone. “So what’s the plan?”
••••
The bald man turns to meet Dale’s eyes, a dark smirk playing at the corner of his lips. “You are surprised I have a wife?”
A shiver runs down his spine. “Everybody’s gotta have somebody, right?” The blonde answers as a sense of warmth and dread swarm through his body at the thought of his person, his somebody, his Kensi and how close they are to having at what he hopes will be forever.
••••
Callen watches as the shaggy blonde, presses the muzzle of the gun forcefully against the dirty cops jaw. “Deeks, look, he’s not worth it.”
Marty ignores the team leader’s statement as his anger continues to take control of his body. “Ask me again. Ask it again!”
Kensi watches on as a side of her best friend that she’s never seen before takes over. Thinking of how he would deal with this situation if their roles reverse, she does the only thing that would certainly bring her out of her rage. “Marty. Marty, put it down.”
As soon as his name leaves her lips a calmness washes over him and it suddenly hits him that she was there to witness what just happened. He empty’s the camber of the gun handing it off to the guys before looking for the nearest way out.
Seeing the frantic look of turmoil in her best friend’s eyes, Kensi places her hand against his chest, trying to bring him some sort of relief.
He shakes his head, trying to school his features as much as he can and does the one thing that never seems to work when it comes to her, not that he would want it to. He walks away from her without a word.
Finding a clear spot against the ally wall, Marty leans against the brick, sliding down until his ass his the hard concrete. He brings his knees up to his chest, burrowing his head into them as he finally lets his tears fall. The anger he’s been holding onto for so long, the pure shit that was this case and the most beautiful moment he’s ever experienced in his life all swimming around in his head.
He’s not sure how long it is before the familiar sound of her footfalls hit his ears. He doesn’t look up, doesn’t acknowledge her presence.
“Hey, are you okay?” She chastises herself for asking such a stupid question. Of course he’s not okay. She’s seen him come out of some pretty deep covers, but this one seems to be affecting him more than any other. Kneeling down in front of him, her hands find his, trying to once again comfort him the way she always has.
“I’d be better if everyone just left me alone.”
The bite in his voice tells her one thing, his walls are up and considering the emotional state he’s in right now, they won’t be coming down any time soon...even for her. She stands back up, shaking her head in frustration. “Understood.”
The sound of her footfalls getting further and further away finally draw him out of his “cage,” realizing that she’s not going to fight him right now even though she knows its what he needs. He can feel the strain in his throat as her silhouette gets smaller and smaller. “Kens...” He sighs in defeat as she quickly turns the corner.
This day keeps getting shittier and shittier.
••••
He brings his fist up to tap on the piece of wood once more, but just as he does it’s pulled open. A set of mesmerizingly mysterious eyes are suddenly staring back at him, leaving him at a loss for words. “I-“
“I thought you wanted to be alone.”
“I did, but...”
“But what?”
She’s upset, actually upset doesn’t seem to be the right word for what he sees staring back at him. Ever since they were kids he’s imagined this moment in so many different ways, this wasn’t really one of them. “I-I wanted to tell you that after that night we had...I never meant for it to happen.”
Kensi can feel her heart split into two at his words. The thought of this...them..of what they could be, it’s all suddenly gone. All the fight she thought was inside her has dissipated. She won’t let herself cry. She won’t. “O-oh, yeah, right. I-I understand.”
“You do?”
“Yeah, you were probably just in the heat of the moment and didn’t want to hurt my-“
Before she can finish her sentence, his lips are on hers, cutting her off. His hands come up, cradling her face, kissing her with such passion and reverence that it would put a Nicholas Sparks movie to shame.
Their tongues duel as if its their last moments on earth and this is goodbye. It’s a few minutes later when they have to pull back, both panting as the rise and fall of their chests brush against each other. “What was that?”
“It seems as though I’m not so good with the words, so I had to resort to other tactics.”
“Not that I didn’t enjoy those tactics, but you know you can tell me anything, Marty.”
“I know. I know. It’s just, laying it all there and saying the words out loud...to you, I-“
“Deeks, what is it?”
At the sound of his last name leaving her lips, he knows he better get to the point and stop being circuitous. It’s now or never. Chips on the table. All in. Taking one last calming breath, his hand finds itself back on her jaw, the feel of her skin against his sends a shock wave through his body. Conveying everything he possibly can in his eyes, he says what’s been sitting on the tip of his tongue and in some part of his head for 20 years now. “I’ve always wanted this one specific thing in life and I didn’t realize until recently what it was. I want you, Kens. I want you and me...I want us. You’re so much more than my best friend. You’re everything to me, Kensi and I’m so far past being in love with you.”
As his confession washes over her, everything stands still as her broken heart slowly mends itself together. This is so not what she was expecting tonight. “You-you love me?”
“I do.” His lips rise into a small smile. “I think the night we made love made me realize it even more.”
He watches as an unreadable look crosses her face as if she’s trying to size him up before turning around and walking further into her apartment. Seeing as though she doesn’t slam the door in his face, he follows her in, quickly shutting the door and becomes confused when he doesn’t see her sitting on the couch.
The brunette follows his movements as he walks further into the living room before she makes her next move. Coming up behind him, she spins his body around and pushes him onto the couch. Straddling his lap, she presses her heat against his. His arms immediately wrapping around her waist loving the feel of her body against his as her movements quickly bringing his member to life.
Slowly moving in, a soft blissful smile spreads to her face as her intense mismatched orbs dance with passion. “I’m in love with you, too.”

Ohhhh or maybe one where the reader just makes jasper talk for a while just cuz she adores his accent 🥺
Jasper could feel your bad mood from outside your house- he was always so attuned you you. If his abilities were anymore developed he would probably be able to see your mood like a dark storm cloud hovering outside of your bedroom. Alice had a vision in the middle of their hunt of how your day would go, but with the sunny weather and the face they were already in the Canadian wilderness- he could do nothing but hope it wasn’t too bad. After stopping by his house to change clothes, he made a beeline to the tree line that surrounded your yard like a natural property line. He’d seen your silhouette in your window starting at five pm, but couldn’t make a move until the sun had gone down. The last thing his family needed was Chief Swan getting called because your neighbor caught him climbing into your window. The moment the sun dipped below the tree line, he raced up and into your bedroom.
You had been wallowing in self pity: already showered, in pajamas, and lying face down in bed with your computer playing some of your music quietly. The moment he crossed into your room, you felt his presence like a calming wave washing over you. Eyes fluttering shut as some of the tension left your body, you muttered, “Jasper.”
“Evenin’ Darlin.” His voice was like honey-warm, sweeter than sugar, slow, and sticky. Drawing you into his words and keeping you there while he lingered on the edge of your room. Ever the gentleman, waiting for your invitation. Prying your head out of your pillow, you faced him.
While you observed his freshly glowing golden eyes, slightly disheveled blonde hair, statuesque posture, and heavenly face- he did the same, taking in your tense muscles, dark under eye bags, flushed cheeks, and the general feeling of resignation and annoyance in your emotional map. He didn’t fail to notice you’d been crying- you didn’t fail to notice that he noticed. You were the first to break the silence, adjusting yourself to meet his eyes easier, “Good hunt?”
Jasper breathed a quiet laugh, such an abnormal question asked so nonchalantly, but entertained the notion nonetheless, “Most of us went up into Canada, into the mountains. Emmet took on a pretty big grizzly so he’s in a particularly good mood. I got a Moose and a couple deer.”
You didn’t know what truly constituted a “good hunt” but his thirst seemed appeased so you nodded. The head ache that came after a long day hadn’t put you in a particularly chatty mood. Jasper filled the silence, “Alice told me you had a bad day- well, told me you would have a bad day. I’m sorry I couldn’t help, doll.”
Shaking your head, you brought your knees up to your chest before wrapping your arms around them, “Not your fault, Jazz, bad days happen.”
There was a beat of silence as the two of you stared at each other, him trying to dissect every emotion you were feeling and you mentally begging him to just drop it. Finally, you just patted the spot beside you, motioning for him to join you. Talking waant something you wanted to do, but just having him close would be a big step towards feeling better.
As always, the vampire had a hard time saying no to you. So with the mattress dipping beside you, he easily slid beside you- staying perfectly still until you were situated. As usual, you bunched up a blanket where you cheek would rest against his chest- thick enough to cushion against his stone chest but thin enough to be close enough to smell the comforting scent he always had on him. Cologne, cedar, leather, something woodsy, and a sweet scent you could never quite put a finger on. After letting you settle, he looked down to you, “Wanna talk about it, sugar?”
He felt you shake you head before you nestled closer to him, so he just wrapped his arm around you alternating between tracing patterns up you arm and running cold, graceful fingers through your hair. One of your arms flopped across him just to have more phsyical contact, and Jasper frowned out of your sight. Besides truly changing your emotions (which felt invasive), he didn’t know how else to help. So for the moment, he just let you curl into him. Golden eyes raked across the room before landing on a book on your nightstand so without jostling you, he easily snatched it up.
Not bothering to read the synopsis, he began flipping through the first chapter- quickly becoming amused at the scandalous historical fiction set during the Civil War in Mississippi. Now that he thought about it, he remembered Angela passing it off to you during third period. He chuckled at a particularly inaccurate and racy part. His laughter was deep and reverberated through his hard chest which roused you, at your movement, he tried to quiet himself, “Sorry, I didn’t mean to wake you. This book is just so terrible.”
His amusement made it hard not to smile as you tried to snatch the book out of his hands, the racy novel had been on lend from Angela and after the second chapter had been collecting dust on your nightstand. He easily kept it out of your reach, amusement growing at your protest (and quiet proud that he’d got you laughing again, he could already feel your mood lightening up). Listening to his laughter made you long to hear him talk in the smooth southern accent, about anything (anything other than that awful book), “Well, if the book isn’t up to par, how about you tell me what it was really like?”
As his chuckling was dying off, he thought about it before tossing the book back on the nightstand. It wasn’t that his past was an off limits topic, there was just a lot of it and he preferred to live in the moment with you. But you were staring up at him with hopeful eyes, and he could feel the remnants of sadness and frustration so he just nodded. “Well, first of all Mississippi didn’t see battle until The Spring of 1862, and union soldiers didn’t make any head way until a year later. So the notion that a this woman met a union soldier celebrating victroy in New Albany is just wrong. Even if it was true, she wouldn’t be so eager to fall into any soldiers tent considering Conderate troops would of torched her father’s plantation for being a sympathizer or vice versa.”
“Hmmm.” You hummed in response to the history lesson, before he continued going back and forth between learned history and personal experience until he hit where he was changed. You’d heard this story, traced the silvery scars on his arms, so once he went quiet you didn’t press any further. “So where were you at the turn of the century?”
“I was still with Maria, we were going back and forth across the border in Texas and New Mexico, I honestly didn’t now it was the new century until 1905, but we were the cause of the Austin Dam failure.” He mused, thinking pack, “I left shortly after the start of the First World War, to search for my friend Peter and because I was tired of fighting Maria’s battles- she starting to lose trust in me and me in her.”
You’d heard him talk about Peter and Charlotte, the only two he ever let escape, “Did you find him?”
“No, not until the late 1930’s, so I mostly just wandered around the South and the West as a nomad. The roaring twenties were fun between Chicago and Mexico City, I’d like to go back to New Mexico someday.” He thought aloud, cold lips ghosting on the crown of your head as his grip on you tightened ever so slightly. The hand laid over him searched for his so you could intertwine you fingers with him. He squeezed for a moment before detaching just to play with you fingers, burning hot compared to his cold touch.
“Where’d you go next?” You asked, letting him gently tug and curl your fingers with his. Jasper laughed bringing your knuckles up to his lips. When he had just fed, it was so much easier to be so close- which is where he preferred to be.
“You’re mighty full of question tonight, ma’am.” He teased, dropping you hand in favor of lightly digging his fingers into your side. The quiet squeal, laughter, and weak attempts at fighting him off was so delightfully human that he couldn’t help but do it every now and then. Jasper gave you a moment to calm down before continuing, “I spent some time in Tennessee and then Kentucky, the Great Depression hit those areas pretty hard, but it was better than being involved in a territory war.”
“Peter and Charlotte ran into me in the Appalachian mountains- that would be the late 30’s- it was easier to hunt without gaining attention up there.” He paused to gauge you reaction, carefully checking for any fear. Finding none, he sighed in relief before continuing, “They told me about Coven’s in the North, how there weren’t many territory disputes and how in some areas they could even go out in day light...”
You let your eyes slip closed, tension melting as you listened to his honeyed words, and his fingers toyed with your hair. Jasper kept going, talking about traveling with Peter and Charlotte through the Midwest and Northern states before breaking off from them too. Then it was the Fifties, going into a diner and meeting Alice. You’d always envied Alice a bit for her closeness to Jasper, even though you knew neither of them felt that way for each other, but you were also incredibly grateful to her- who knows where Jasper would be without her.
“I remember she said that I’d kept her waiting long enough and I thought to myself I’ve never seen this woman in my life, but I sat down with her regardless and she told me about ‘vegetarianism’ and our future family. I could feel her excitement but I thought she was crazy.” He laughed to himself, a beautiful sound. You’d heard this story a few times from him and Alice. “I was about to go on my way, leave Alice in the wind when she told me something I couldn’t ignore.”
You perked up, neither of them had ever mentioned this part of the story. Craning you’re neck up, you saw he was watching you expectantly with a soft smile tugging those perfect lips up- waiting for a reaction, “She told me that she’d seen me with my soulmate and her future family. She couldn’t tell me when, or where, or how, but she’s seen it and I had to trust her. She felt so sincere and I’d been lonely for so long that I left with her that very afternoon.”
You sat up very suddenly, blood rushing to your cheeks ass you turned around to him, “Jasper, you’ve never told me that before! What are you doing with me then?”
Jasper couldn’t help but grin at the flash of indignation and feisty anger, but quickly frowned when it morphed to hurt. His movement was much faster and infinitely more graceful than yours as you took your face in his hands, “You were the girl in the vision, (Y/N), you’re what I’ve been waiting for.”
It was like someone pulled a plug on your negative emotions as they drained out to be replaced by jittery happiness, and he didn’t need his brother’s telepathy to see the wheel’s turning in your head, “Oh.”
Meanwhile, you were trying to figure out the appropriate reaction to being told your someone’s soulmate. You’d never really imagined life without Jasper, you’d long since admitted to yourself that he was the love of your life, “Well, I’m glad you believed her otherwise I could be with Mike Newton right now.”
It was a bad joke, but he laughed nonetheless and pulled you back down with him, now wrapping both arms around you-effectively trapping you to his chest, but you had no reason to be afraid or even attempt to break free. There was a long pause of silence, him sending off soothing vibes, (it was getting pretty late) listening to the sound of your heartbeat as it slowed, and waiting for you to doze off. It did surprise him when you spoke back up.
“Where’d you go next?” It was quiet, sleepy, but a request he wouldn’t deny. He’d pay you back by asking a hundred inane question about your childhood tomorrow.
Pulling your comforter over the two of you, he adjusted you to what would be a more comfortable sleeping position. He continued, “Well, in took a few years but eventually we met Carlisle who welcomed us to the family with open arms. It took a bit to adjust to the new life of going to highschools and colleges, being around humans. Alice would occasionally drop little hints about you, your hair color, eye color, things you would do in her visions, and that was enough to encourage me to stay with it.”
You only hummed in response, turning over a bit as you let him nudge you towards sleep. Jasper was more than surprised when you made it to the mid-seventies without falling asleep, but was satisfied that he could no longer read any anger or frustration on you. Brushing a lock of hair out of your sleeping face, he silently laughed at your unconscious reaction to his cold touch. Yes, he had waited nearly sixty years for you.
“Good night, darlin’. I love you.”
Bad moods and all, he’d wait a hundred years more for moments like these.

Ok I've spent a few months lurking and just being a lil too nervous to ask about The Royal House Perdel, but now that I've read the premise ohmygod I love it. I would pay actual money to read it as a book one day.
WHAT. You’re my favorite now. I love you. Take my firstborn.
Since I assume you’re also here for FF7, have a little gift writing of my protag at age 7 hopping dimensions and interacting with the SSC Firsts.
They should have known something was off when they were able to corner Cloud so quickly, but they definitely figured it out when he started giggling.
“Cloud…?” Sephiroth asked cautiously, crouched a short distance from him.
“Pfft, ahaha, your faces!” He said, pointing and covering his mouth with the other hand. Bright orange-red bled out from the root of his hair, spreading down as the strands lengthened and curled. He grew a little taller, a little ganglier, and his face…
Not his face. That wasn’t Cloud at all, though how the laughing girl had accomplished such an effective disguise was a question for another time.
“Who the hell are you!” Genesis exploded. “Where is Cloud!”
“He’s busy,” the little girl said, breaking off her laughter to stick out her tongue at them. “Meanie. He’s following a Virtue! You can’t interrupt that!”
Sephiroth growled, standing up. “Genesis, with me. Angeal, start a conference call. We will begin where we lost Cloud.” He and Genesis darted off, leaving Angeal with the strange new child.
“Wonderful,” he sighed, pulling out his PHS and doing as Sephiroth had commanded. “Another one.” He caught the girl’s arm when she nonchalantly tried to waltz past him. “And where do you think you’re going?”
She blinked. “That way,” she said, pointing.
“Not when you’ve—is that Cloud’s hair?” There was a tuft of pale golden hair clenched in her hand.
“Duh,” she said, “that’s the rule for the spell. ‘A dear thing, freely given. Closer to the skin, more power riven.’”
Angeal struggled to parse through the bewildering statement. “Because Cloud gave you his hair, you were able to...cast a spell to look like him?” He tilted her arm, looking her over for materia, but saw nothing. “Where’s your materia?”
She blinked at him. “What’s materia?”
He decided to abandon the line of inquiry entirely. “Where are your parents?”
Her expression turned sheepish. She scuffed the toe of her sandal across the concrete. “Umm...Granda’ is gonna come find me soon...I’m probably in trouble.”
For the first time, Angeal noticed the glittering jewels held in the intricate lacework of her sandals. They certainly weren’t materia, but they did tell him that her parents must have been very wealthy. “And why are you in trouble?”
She flushed and looked away. “I’m not s’pposed to go through the Gates…” she mumbled.
“The gates?”
“The Gates Between. The ones that cross the Empty Spaces.” She stared down at her feet, and nervously plucked at the hem of her skirt. “Granda’ can open the Gates cuz he’s Imperator, and I can cuz I’m a Mage but he says I’m too little. I’m not supposed to be here, but...but it was calling me! I had to!” She looked up at him with wide, unnatural golden eyes and a pleading little pout.
He had absolutely no idea what she was talking about.
—
Genesis took one look at the little redhead sleeping contentedly against Angeal’s shoulder and said “no, no, we already have one, put that back.”
Angeal looked tired and a little defeated, leveling Genesis with an unimpressed glance. With Cloud in the wind, all they could do now was wait for some sign of his whereabouts—probably in the form of demolished ShinRa property. Which left them to deal with everything else for a while instead.
“Believe me,” he said, “I’m not particularly happy about this either. But her parents are impossible to find. She doesn’t exist in any records—and I do mean any records. Even the Turks can’t find anything. And I can’t exactly just leave her with someone.”
Genesis narrowed his eyes. “Why not?”
“She has...abilities. You saw the disguise earlier, but there’s more.” He looked vaguely disturbed, glancing down at the kid like she was a ticking bomb. “A lot more.”
Sephiroth sighed. “Naturally. That seems to be the theme lately, strange children with inexplicable abilities showing up on our doorsteps.”
Finally, a hint of humor broke through Angeal’s tiredness. “Well, look on the bright side. At least this one actually trusts adults.”
“Too much, if she’s sleeping in your arms two seconds after meeting you,” Genesis scoffed.
“The polar opposite of Cloud,” Sephiroth observed, a little bit of humor entering his tone as well.
Angeal shook his head. “Her parents have the resources to keep her very sheltered, from what I’ve gathered. She seems to think that all adults are inherently trustworthy, especially if they, and I quote here, ‘look like they belong in Mama’s First Legion.’”
Genesis and Sephiroth both paused.
“That...makes it sound as if her parents have a personal militia at their disposal,” Genesis said.
“Yeah,” Angeal agreed wryly, “it does, doesn’t it?”
She was like a spot of sunshine in the interview room—not an interrogation room, though it did have a one-way mirror and an attached observation space—beaming up at Tseng as she sat on her knees in the chair across from him. Unsurprisingly, the Turks hadn’t exactly had a booster seat handy with their typical interview equipment.
“What’s your full name?” Tseng asked, soft and polite. It was only Angeal’s familiarity with the young man that allowed him to detect the very slight edge of unease in his smile.
Angeal could understand. It wasn’t often that even he was presented with such unconditional trust and guileless curiosity, and the Turks certainly must have experienced it much less.
The little girl opened her mouth and proceeded to deliver an extremely well-rehearsed answer. “Ameliora Octavia, First Mage of the House Perdel, Blessed of the Thirteen,” she rattled off cheerfully, “Crown Princess and heir to the Perdelesian Throne, granddaughter of the Virtuous Emperor Celsus Caesar Perdel and the Virtuous Empress Julia Atossa Perdel, daughter of Caius Julius Perdel, High King of the West, and Fera Tullia Perdel, High Queen of the East.” She gasped in a breath, having spent her entire lung capacity on the extended answer. “You can call me Lora, though, I don’t mind.” She resumed beaming at him.
Even Tseng didn’t seem to know what to say to that.
Then Lora frowned abruptly. “Oh wait, I wasn’t supposed to tell you that.”
Tseng managed to get ahold of himself. “Why is that, Lora?”
She looked up at the ceiling as if trying to remember something. “Granda says that, uh, if I’m ever with strangers I’m supposed to...uhm...tell them ‘Lora’ but nothing else and wait until one of the Praetorians comes to get me.”
“I see. Lora, do you know where you are?”
“Nope!” she said, apparently unbothered by this fact.
“Do you know how you got here?”
“Uh-huh, I opened the Gate in the Archive because it was calling to me in the Strings, and then I walked the Empty Spaces until it felt right and now I’m here.”
Angeal glanced discreetly at the other Turks in the observation room. None of them seemed to know what the hell she was saying either, which was very reassuring.
Tseng looked like he wanted to sigh but restrained himself. “Do you know how to get back home?”
For the first time, Lora flushed crimson and ducked her head. “Umm...nooo…”
“No?”
“‘S why I’m gonna be in trouble...I know how to walk through the Empty Spaces but I dunno how to walk back yet…Granda will come find me, though.”
“How will he know where to find you?”
She blinked at him, and for a moment her unnatural golden eyes glowed like they had a SOLDIER’s mako gleam. “Granda will always find me,” she said. “He swore on the Thirteen the day I was born. ‘Sides, I’m a Mage. Magistra Mara says I look like a supernova when she uses the Strings to see me.” She smiled. “I’m hard to miss.”
“I see,” said Tseng, which was a bald-faced lie. “How old are you, Lora?”
“Seven and a quarter,” she said very seriously.
“Hey.” A little hand tugged on the bottom of his jacket and Reno practically jumped out of his skin. Shiva, it was the tiny unnatural demon child. With trepidation, he half-turned and looked down at her.
She was beaming up at him like he’d just given her the best gift in the world. He was absolutely certain that if he picked her up she would snuggle into his arms without a second thought.
It was hands-down the creepiest fucking thing he’d ever seen in his life.
“What,” he bit out, anxious to get away without looking like he was getting away. He could feel Rude laughing at him silently.
“C’mere,” she said, motioning him down. Reno glanced at her babysitter of the hour—Hewley—whose mako eyes promised death if he dared to scare or upset her. Reno weighed the odds for a long second and then slowly crouched.
Immediately, she buried her hands in his hair and started petting and patting, a puzzled little furrow to her brows. “Hey,” he said, jerking back a little, “what do you think you’re doing!”
“I’ve never seen hair like this,” she responded, peering closer.
“You have red hair,” he pointed out, growing increasingly uncomfortable. He could kill her a dozen ways with barely a flick of his hand and she was playing with his hair?
It was unnatural!
“Nuh-uh, my hair’s gold-red and and curls. Yours is all sticky-uppy and looks like an apple.”
“Well, that’s just how it was when I was born!”
“Oh. Huh.” Apparently that was enough for her. She released his hair and looked to Rude instead and Reno felt exactly zero shame for how fast he got up and moved out of range of her creepy, sunshiny eyes.
She motioned Rude down in the same way. He went, a lot more willingy than Reno had, even though Reno knew for a fact that is partner was also pretty fucking creeped out by her. All the Turks were. There was no one—no one—who had ever treated them with such unconditional trust. The little princess was genuinely happy to see them. Even Tseng was freaked out. Even Veld was, though he took it in stride like he did everything else.
Lora plucked the sunglasses right from Rude’s face and put them on. Her mouth made a little ‘o’ of surprise.
“Why would you want dark glass over your eyes?” She asked, holding them in place and looking around curiously.
Without missing a beat, Rude pulled a spare set of sunglasses out of his suit pocket and put them on. Lora giggled. Reno shamelessly abandoned his partner and speed walked away.
“Hello, my dear.”
Lora looked up, blinking at the strange man who’d addressed her. “Hello,” she said cheerfully. She was, technically, breaking the rules by wandering around like this, but she was just so curious. There were so many strange things in this place! And sometimes breaking the rules led to wonderful things, like coming here.
“Would you like to see something interesting?”
She gasped in delight. “Yes! What is it?”
“Come with me and I’ll show you,” he said, offering a hand. She took it without hesitation. It was weirdly cold. The man reminded her of her uncle Brutus, who stared at her all the time and Mama always glared at. Uncle Brutus was weird.
She remembered that she actually had to introduce herself here, because people didn’t automatically know her name. “I’m Lora, what’s your name?” she said.
The man smiled. “You can call me Professor Hojo, my dear.”

asahi and bokuto's sister...? maybe they met at the training camp when bokuto left something at home and she had to drop it off for him?
a/n; i absolutely love this idea, so let’s get started. thanks for requesting! and i hope you like it anon! (y/nn) stands for your nickname.
ASAHI MEETING BOKUTO’S TWIN SISTER
pairing; asahi azumane x bokuto’s twin sister! reader
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Ok so, you’re Bokuto’s twin sister.
We all know Bokuto is a baby so he literally called you crying when he noticed he forgot his blanket.
And as the great sister you are, you went the other day.
He hated you for that, but Akaashi gave him one extra blanket so he was good for the night. (he didn’t tell you that, tho)
You went early in the morning, with your volleyball uniform, because you had practice later, and when you arrived you didn’t know where to go.
But before you could get your phone out of the car, you saw Kuroo in the distance, and he was waving at you.
You vave him a smile and walked towards him making sure to not drop your brothers blanket, and your practice shoes, because you know you will want to see your brother playing.
Thankfully Kuroo told you where your brothers team was having a practice game, you thanked him, and made your way to the gym he pointed at.
As you were walking to the door, a team made their way in, making you stop on your tracks.
As they walked in, you notices one of the taller boys, he had his hair in a loose bun, had a little headband and like i said before, he was tall.
You were like ‘that guy is hot, and tall.’
After they made their way in, and got their shoes on you finally could get inside. (cuz nishinoya and tanaka blocked the entrance.)
You got your shoes on and walked towards the court were your brother was playing at. When the other team saw you they were confused.
Why were there two Bokuto’s.
That’s when the amazing ace of Fukurōdani made the winning spike.
You smiled at you brother and walked towards him and Akaashi, who were talking to each other.
“Kōtarō!” You got his attention and half of the gym attention, making everyone look at you. “Your blanket.” You said with a dramatic voice as you bowed slowly and you gave him the blanket.
“Hello (Y/N)” Akaashi said with a tiny smile that he only had for the Bokuto twins.
“Hello, Akaashi! Your last toss was amazing!” You said with a smile, he used to ask you for hel because he thought you were a better setter than him (he’s the good one)
“But before you guys do anything else. Who is that guy with the bun.” You said as you looked at the tall guy with the bun.
“Asahi Azumane, Karasuno’s Ace.” Akaashi said as he saw kōtarō open the blanket with a smile.
“Why do you ask, (Y/NN)” Your tein brother asked as he looked over at you, throwing the blanket to the bench.
“Well, he’s the hottest ace I’ve ever seen.”
“That’s impossible! I’m the hottest ace you’ve ever seen!” Bokuto said with a loud voice making the whole Karasuno team look in your direction.
On the other side of the gym, Asahi was looking discreetly at you. You were beautiful, but he didn’t know you.
“Do you guys know who she is?” Asahi asked to Daichi and Suga, expecting them to know.
“She’s not a manager, she has a Fukurōdani jacket so i think she play’s volleyball.” Daichi said as he looked at you for a second.
“Kyoko also haves a jacket.” Suga said as he drinked water.
“She’s looking at us.” Asahi said as he turned to face Suga, who was still dinking water.
“That’s impossible! I’m the hottest ace you’ve ever seen!” When Asahi heard that he was beet red.
There was a chance they were talking about him, because they were looking towards him.
Daichi laughed along with Suga, making Asahi get more red.
“Look he’s red!” Kōtarō almost screamed as he saw Asahi’s profile.
The only thing that sounded after that was a slap.
You hitted your twin on his shoulder without holding back, it sounded painful.
You started scolding him, without noticing how the cute guy with a bun disappeared.
When you finished scolding your brother and looked back, you almost died when you didn’t see him.
“He went to get some water. If you want to talk to him this is your chance.” Akaashi said as he walked towards the bench and started folding Kōtarō’s blanket.
“She won’t do th-” Bokuto started talking but stopped when he saw you making your way out. “(Y/N)! I SAID NO!” This time he screamed, running behind you, but Akaashi got him by his arm.
“Asahi is a nice guy, Bokuto.”
You were walking behind Asahi, having Akaashi’s and your brother’s bottles to refill them.
You standed next to him, and started filling your brother’s bottle as you looked discreetly at him, and decided to talk.
“You’re from Karasuno, right?”
“Yes, I-I’m the ace.” He said nervously, making you smile.
“I’m (Y/N) Bokuto, everyone calls me (Y/N)” you said giving him a smile as you finished filling up the water bottle.
“I’m Asahi Azumane.”
“Well, it’s a pkeasure to meet you, Azumane.” You said with a smile as you prepared yourself to make the worst pick up line of history.
“Oh shit, were did i leave it?” You said while patting your pockets.
“Can I help you in some way?” Asahi asked softly as he closed the bottle, and looked at you.
“Actually yes, I seem to have lost my phone number, can I have yours?” You said with a smile as you looked at him.
Asahi laughed as he turned a very dark sade of red. “Of c-course. But is only fair i have y-yours.” He said as he gave you a shy smile.
You smiled and nodded then you got out a pen and a sticky note you had ready for when you asked him.
He gave you the pen as he gog out the sticky note and holded it until you writed your phone number.
You gave him the paper with your phone number and he gave you the paper with his.
Minutes later you were making your way inside the gym, with Akaashi’s and Kōtarō’s bottles in your left hand. Asahi had gone ahead because he finished filling his bottle first.
When you walked inside you waved your hand with a pink sticky note. “I got his number!” You said with a loud voice as you made your way towards Akasshi and Kōtarō.
On the other side of the court, the whole Karasuno team looked at him, expecting him to say something.
“I got her number too.” Asahi said with a blush as the whole team started to scream and talk very loud.

A summer job at the Dole pineapple cannery, graveyard shift 10 PM to 6 AM. A long bus ride into and out of town. Two teens, shy beside each other.
Written for NaruHina 2020 August - Cultures/Around the World
Rated G
Inspired by “Torch Song” by @mmmbuttery (emmykay)
Here we go, a story I've worked on since November of last year. Despite the months of creation, this story is simply boy meets girl. This one is close to my heart, and I've second-guessed posting it.
It's loosely based on my parents' high school stories and how they met, and the experiences from many recorded accounts of people from that generation, the 1970s. I wrote this mostly with the intention of diving into and imagining their time period.
Finally completed, of course it’s late for August, in true spirit, I stay on island time.  This story is titled after “About You” by Cecilio & Kapono, a 1975 Hawaiian pop classic.
One Shot - About You
The bus bumps and lurches on the potholes.
She notes when they pass by a friend’s house, lit only by the dim orange street lamps over dark driveways.  There are so few cars out on the road that every time the bus pulls over and the door opens, she can hear the high-pitched hum of crickets in the grass.  It’s all a familiar rhythm that might have put her to sleep on any other night.  But she already took a long nap, readying her internal clock for the new schedule.
She’ll be taking this route for the rest of the summer, heading from the bus stop next to the local library straight to the cannery.
It feels alright, better than she was expecting.  She was worried it would feel lonely--her friends are all working the cannery, too, but in the daytime.  She wanted the extra nickel the night shift earns, bringing her up to $1.40 per hour.
She’s always thinking ahead--the more money she manages to save now for business college, the less she will need to work later.
The bus slows down to a stop, picking up probably the last passenger before it gets on the freeway straight to town.
She relaxes into her seat, settling in for the drive out of the suburbs.
“Hinata?”
That’s weird that someone would know her at this hour.
She turns her face away from the window and sees him standing in the aisle, as if he was about to sit down in the row in front of her.  “N-Naruto?”  She regrets her stutter.  She just wasn’t expecting to see him.  At all.
“Hey!  Howzit?”  He looks genuinely surprised to see her, too.
“Good...”  She returns his bright grin with a shy smile of her own.  She tucks a lock of loose hair behind her ear.  “I’m heading to the cannery.”
“You working cannery, too?”
“Yeah...are you?”
“Yup.  Gotta make dat extra nickel, yeah?”  He smiles disarmingly as she nods, and he takes a seat.
She wants to relax.  But she can’t.
Because it’s him.
All 5 feet 9 inches of beautiful boy sitting in front of her on a relatively empty bus.  He’s taller than the average local Japanese, due to his hapa blood.  And as if height wasn’t enough to make him attractive to all the girls, he’s funny.  And clever.  Athletic and nice.  A little rascal, but that only increases his charm.  She has so much adrenaline pumping through her from that one tiny conversation, she knows she’ll be exhausted before they even get to Honolulu Harbor.
-
The forewoman, a middle-aged Portuguese lady, takes her and another girl named Tenten to the lockers.  “Wear dis.”  She passes them a white apron and hairnet.  “You girls get gloves?”
They both nod, pulling out their plastic gloves, required in the job description.
The lady glances at the gloves, bored expression unchanging.  “Follow.”
Hinata tucks all of her hair up into the net, and she knows she probably looks like an enoki mushroom, dressed now all in white.
They follow the forewoman to the assembly floor.
“Here.”  She hands them knives with the same carelessness of someone who’s been doing this for ages.  “Take all da extra skin off cuz da machine no get ‘m all, look, but gotta do ‘m fas’ kine ah.  No let da pines go down widdout cleaning ‘m,” she explains, pointing and waving at the conveyor belt.
Hinata nods.  Four girls stand silently before a machine that’s spitting out bright yellow, skinned pineapples.  They grab at them quickly, and then with practiced flicks of their wrist, they nick off the remaining bits into slots for the rubbish.  They put the pineapples back down on the belt, where the fruit runs along to another set of girls, who give them another checkover.  Further down, the fruit runs into a machine with circling blades that chop them into slices.
Rows and rows of young women dressed in white aprons with mushroom-netted heads stand around conveyors and machines.
Young men cross over the upper ladders and walkways carrying pineapples to dump into the machines and sticks to poke at the fruit in the chutes to prevent jamming.
The smell of pineapples is pervasive, sickly in its sweetness.
Not too much later, a bell shrills throughout the warehouse, and she’s taking over for a girl who’s now off-duty.  She grabs at the pineapples, turning the weighty fruit over in her palm and cutting brown spots of skin off with the knife as quickly as she can.  Droplets of pineapple juice stick to her gloves, and soon enough, the juice is dripping down the latex.
She’s not thankful for the gloves for long.
The juice runs down, and every stretch of her arm to grab at the fruit or place it back down feels sticky in the crook of her elbow.
Minutes turn into hours of watching pineapples.
She has no idea how the world eats so many pineapples.
How is it possible that people love pineapples this much?  That the machinery is rarely turned off?  That all of the state’s teenagers are employed every summer to work the fields and machines practically 24/7?
As unfathomable as it is, she finds a strange awe for the tropical fruit that she never had before.  To pass the time as she trims the skin, she imagines where these pineapples are going.  Who’s going to buy these pineapples.  What country they’ll end up in and what language the people speak there.  And whether they have ever seen a whole pineapple before.
But then again, maybe they’re all just going to the Mainland.  Women who look like the movie stars with perfectly curled, blonde hair will open the cans for their families.
The bell rings, the machines stop.
They have 30 minutes.
The more veteran workers zip off to the lunchroom, not waiting for anyone.
Hinata smiles tiredly at Tenten.
“Whew,” the Chinese girl sighs.
Hinata nods in agreement.  “I never seen so many pineapples before, I think.”
“Yeah, me, neither.”  Her brows raise to emphasize the point.
-
By the time they get off at 6 in the morning, dawn is breaking, traffic is slowly building along Nimitz Highway, and she knows she must absolutely stink of pineapples.
But Naruto waves and stands beside her as they wait for the bus, as if he doesn’t care.  Maybe he can’t smell her, desensitized now after so long in the warehouse.  “Morning, Hinata,” he laughs, and the joke is not lost on her.
She smiles weakly, only his good attitude motivating her.  “Good morning,” she manages to reply.  She’s too exhausted to feel shy about standing beside her crush.  After all, she was standing for the last several hours.  All she wants is to sit down.
“How wuz it?” he asks conversationally.
She pinches her lips into a tight frown.  “I had to trim the pines at the ginaca.”  She gestures halfheartedly with her hands, showing him the flick of an imaginary knife she used.  All night.  She’s almost certain that she’s the machine now.  “What did you do?”
“Oh, wuz pretty neat!  I jus’ had to keep da cans moving on da belt an’ stick da lids inside da kine, machine, and then the cans pop out.  I did da tops.”
She blinks at him.  Forces a weak smile out that she barely feels in her heart.  Sounds easy…  But that’s to be expected, after all, women usually handle food anyway.
“No can wait fo’ sit down, yeah!” he laughs.  He doesn’t sound tired, but it occurs to her that maybe he never does.  His natural excitement is what makes him popular in the first place.
She nods.
When the bus pulls up to the curb, Naruto lets her get on in front of him.
The bus driver pulls a face as she pays.
She frowns, a hot blush spreading over her cheeks.  She tried to clean up as best she could after her shift, but apparently, it really was all for naught.
“Go in da back!” the driver directs, none too friendly.
She does so, even though the front seats aren’t full.
Naruto laughs outright as he pays, unashamed at his own stink.  “What, uncle, wen try fo’ wash off, still stay pilau?”
“Eesh,” the driver utters in response to the teen’s cheekiness.
She doesn’t know how he’s not embarrassed, nor how he’s able to talk back to strangers like it’s nothing.  It’s just another case in point of her admiration and curiosity of him.  She picks an aisle-facing seat, and, to her surprise, Naruto sits right next to her, his knees spreading open.
She’s not as tired as she thought.
Nerves race up her legs.  She stares at her hands, which she carefully places on her knees, which are closely pressed together as ladylike as possible.  Not a single part of her touches him.  She thinks she might die if their legs touch.
And that’s how she doesn’t doze off on the long ride back home.
-
He meant to brag to his friends about working graveyard shift when he saw them that first weekend.  Sure, the hours are junk, but, Ho, should see da chicks!
Particularly the one he rides the bus with.  Hinata Hyuuga.  A small, Japanese girl.  Brains and looks.  Not to mention her unusual, light eyes, making you question her race.  But, nah, no real question about it, she’s Japanese through and through with her shy, quiet manner.  She’s someone he imagines could win the Cherry Blossom Festival pageant with her smooth skin and round eyes.  He and the guys always steal a poster of the new year’s contestants from the supermarket window.  Pictures of pretty Japanese girls’ profiles all lined up, free to admire.  She could definitely win.  If she ever tried.  But she’s not very personable.
Not that that ever stopped him from talking to whoever he wants to talk to.
Yet he ended up not mentioning anything about Hinata to his friends.  Not the next week, either.
Somehow, she just comes off as out-of-his-league.  At least, he’s certain that’s what his friends would say.  Just mentioning her would probably earn him jokes.  He’s pretty sure she’s in all the high, smart classes.  But he doesn’t know much about that--and she’s a year younger than him.  He only knows her because his social club had a gathering with hers last year, invited by Sakura.  There’re lots of pretty girls in that social club, and, unusually, it has girls over two grade levels.  Just the younger girls didn’t catch his attention last year.
Needless to say, he’s thinking about her now.
Not much else to think about while he drops lids into the machine.  It’s monotonous work, but he knows now that his job is way, way better than Hinata’s.
-Two weeks ago-
His jaw dropped when he saw her on the bus the second night.
She had covered her arms self-consciously with her hands when he got on.
Of course, that action was what drew his attention.
Bright.  Red.  Streaks and bumps.  A rash.  Mottling her fair skin in the crook of her elbows to the middle of her forearms.  Both sides.
“From da pines?” he asked incredulously.
She nodded, her eyes turning down, as if somehow the rash was a personal fault.
He looked away, realizing his staring was only making her feel worse.  “You have da kine..sensitive skin?”  He wondered belatedly if talking about it would only make her feel worse worse.
“Umm...yeah…”  Her voice sounded even quieter than her usual.
He frowned awkwardly, though she didn’t see it.  He sat down beside her, still looking away.  “Jeez.  Das real junk.”  He swallowed back his strange feeling of guilt.  Her pain wasn’t his fault.  Her job placement wasn’t his fault.  So why did he feel like he was partially responsible...?  “Uh, dere anyting fo’ do about it?”  He suddenly felt like cringing at the sound of his own pidgin.  His heavy speech just further emphasized his upbringing compared to hers.  Someone classy like her shouldn’t be doing a job like that, right?  “‘Cuz like, can only get worse, yeah?  You get medicine fo’ put on or someting?”  He couldn’t help jabbering on and on.  When he starts feeling uncomfortable, that’s just what happens.
Thankfully, she continued the conversation.  “Mhm.  I saw yesterday some of th’ other workers wuz wearing two gloves.”  She opened her purse and pulled out a pair.  The hands were cut off.  “Like this, see?”  She pulled the glove on over her elbow like a sleeve, then pulled another, uncut one on so that they overlapped on her forearm.
“Ho, neat idea, yeah?”  He nodded in approval.
She smiled in response.  “The juice no can get inside, I think, yeah?”
“Yeah!” he emphasized.
She smiled a little more, obviously not embarrassed anymore by her arms.
And he felt proud of himself for getting them out of that uncomfortable start to the bus ride.  Felt oddly self-satisfied that he got her to smile.  Decided right then and there that he was pretty interested in her.
But he hasn’t really made a move, yet.  The thought that she might turn him down is there.  He’s been turned down enough times that rejection isn’t really what’s bugging him.  It’s that she never seems to be in a good mood after their shift is done.  That, and he doesn’t want it to be uncomfortable for the rest of the summer in case she does reject him.  He would still have to catch the bus with her every night and morning.  Too bad his dad doesn’t let him take the car to work.  He gets it, though.  His dad needs the car to go to work.
Well, he’ll figure it out later.
The bell screams, signaling the start of their lunch break.
He joins a group of Farrington guys he befriended over the course of the two weeks.  There’re a lot of them working at the cannery, being that the high school is only a neighborhood away from the warehouse district.
“Eh, Naruto, you surf?” Omoi, a dark-skinned Filipino boy with sun-bleached ehu hair, asks.
“Yeah,” he answers, excitement bubbling.  But only on the weekends with Shikamaru and Choji.  He lives central, not at all close to the ocean, making beach trips longer than ideal.  “Why, whatchu thinking?”
A guy they call “C,” Naruto has no idea what it’s short for, leans forward.  “We go dawn patrol, Kewalo’s.”
Right after their shift, at the surf break at Kewalo Basin.  Sounds solid.  “Eh, shoots, we go!  Tomorrow den?”
“Yeah,” Omoi affirms.  “Prolly gon wash da pine stink off, yeah?”
C’s eyes widen at Omoi’s shoes, shaking his head.  “Eh, brah, I no tink so, you dripping pines ova hea, bet yo feet kill, phew!”
“You faka, you no can talk, da flies stay all buzzin’ ‘round you!” Omoi shoots back.
Naruto frowns, considering that Hinata has the same job as Omoi, one of the few guys assigned to a woman’s job.  Over the course of the job, Omoi’s shoes had soaked in pineapple juice that dripped from the cutting.  This didn’t seem to be as big a problem for Hinata, who, for some girly reason, wore sandals despite the long hours of standing.  “How come you no jus’ wea rubbah slippahs?”
Omoi shook his head with a serious expression.  “No can fo’ do dat brah.  I only get one good pair!  Already wen ruin deez shoes, no sense ruin my slippahs too.”
“Dis broke faka ova hea, he no get money fo’ buy one noddah pair from Long’s das why!” C laughs.
Naruto shakes his head, laughing out loud.  “No way you dat broke!”
Omoi turns to C, faux annoyance twisting his face.  “Eh dis haole ri’ hea like get lickins?”
Instead of looking threatened, C just humorously shoots back, “You like go, we go!”
“Go den, shoots we go,” Omoi answers, squaring up.
“Yeah den go cuz, shoots,” C threatens back.
But neither of them stand.
Naruto rolls his eyes at their idiotic banter.  Rarely is he the voice of reasoning, but he supposes it would be a different story if his school friends were here.  “Eh we go Kewalo’s shoots.”
They turn back to him, huge grins on.  “Yeah, we go!” Omoi says enthusiastically.
“Bring your board yeah?” C reminds him as the bell rings again.
“Yeah!”
He tells Hinata that he can’t go back with her the next day, and she just nods and smiles.  Tells him to have fun.
And it’s a slight relief to not worry about the ride back home with her.  He’s starting to feel like maybe she’s expecting him to ask her out since they spend so much time together.  Well, really, he’s expecting that of himself, but he just can’t right now.
She’s just not any other girl at school in these current circumstances.
-
Hinata never meant to be one of those girls.
One of those girls, picked up on a stretcher and taken to the medical room to recuperate.
But on the first day of her period, she was exactly one of those girls.
She was feeling so tired.  Legs like jelly.  Sore up her thighs.  Aches digging around her lower back.  A weighty twisting in her core.  A heavy day.  It made her feel lightheaded.
The pineapples, one after another, going by, making her feel a little dizzy, like maybe she needed to close her eyes.
Shutting her eyes for a second didn’t help.
A breath, two breaths, intentional breaths.
She felt like maybe she was going to make herself start hyperventilating, the opposite of what she wanted.  She wanted to breathe normally.
Focus on the pineapple.
It felt too heavy in her hand.
Her focus sliding off the pineapple, to the sticky yellow glint of the knife.  Back to the pineapple.
She looked up, dazed, her eyes taking too long to adjust to a point on the far wall.
“Hinata, you alright?” Tenten asked.
She tried to refocus on the girl on the opposite side of her.  She nodded, blinking, trying to concentrate on their job.
“You don’t look alright.”  Her voice was too loud, like everything else going on.
Too loud, pounding.
She closed her eyes, heat searing her temples.
-
“-nata?  Hinata?”
She slowly gains consciousness, to find Naruto looking down at her.
“You okay?  You wen faint dey said.”
“Oh,” she manages to utter, trying to get her bearings as the room and bed take shape in her mind, blinking away the dazed vestiges of sleep.  “W-what time is it?”
“Our shift only pau now.”
“Oh.”
“You feeling okay?”
She slowly sits up, nodding.  “Yeah.”  She must not have been out for that long.  She really thought she would make it to the end of the night.  “Were you waiting for me?” she asks, suddenly panicked at the realization that he is here with her.
“Ah, nah, nah.  I come in jus’ now.”  He gestures at the door.  “You weren’ out dere, so I jus’ wen ask somebahdy.  Dey said you wuz in hea.”
“Oh.”  That’s good that he wasn’t waiting for her to wake up, but, still, she never expected him to do something like this.  “You didn’t have to.”
He shrugs.  “No problem.  Ready fo’ go?  Can walk or..?”
She nods, scooching off the bed-like table.
And he walks with her to check-out with one of the heads, and then back to the bus stop.  Waits with her there.  And when it’s obvious that he’s going back with her despite the longboard he’s been holding this whole time, she haltingly brings it up.  “You not...going surfing?”
He shakes his head carelessly.  “Nah, I go tomorrow.”
She ducks her head, biting her lips.  “I’m sorry.”
“Nah, nah, waves not hitting today, so.”  He shrugs, looking past her for the bus.
Obviously an outright lie, but she accepts it over drawing out such an uncomfortable situation.
“You no feel good today?”  He sounds honestly concerned.
“Um, I felt fine earlier.”  Well, in truth, she felt okay.  The normal period cramps.  As okay as a heavy day can be.
“You not sick?”
She shakes her head.  She wants to sit down.  The bench has the older workers sitting down, so she never gets to sit until the bus comes.  She shifts her weight from foot to foot, trying to relieve the weight from her hips and pelvis.
It’s such a relief when the bus comes.  She ignores the bus driver’s daily grimace and makes for the back row as quickly as she can.
He watches her sit down, audibly sigh, and her whole body kind of just melts into the stiff chair.  It’s obvious that out of all the days so far, she’s the most tired today.
Or has she been like this?  He just didn’t know because he’s been avoiding her in the mornings?
Ten minutes into the long ride, he’s thinking that it’s a good thing he’s going home with her today because…he thinks she’s falling asleep.  Her head keeps jerking in his peripheral vision, so he decides to stop being considerate and turn to look straight at her.
Her eyes are drooping heavily, she’s blinking really hard...she is falling asleep.  Or, trying really hard not to.
“Hinata.”
“Huh?”  Her eyes fly wide open, obviously forcing herself.
“Sleep, I go wake you up later.”
Her cheeks redden.  “Oh, no, I’m fine.”
She doesn’t trust him, or…what?  She’s embarrassed?
“You sure?”
She nods.  “Yeah.”  Her voice sounds too breathy to be fine, but if she says so...
It’s no surprise to him when her body starts slumping over, her head weighing the rest of her body down and toward the seats in front of them.
She’d be even more embarrassed about this position, right?  So he reaches over to grab both her shoulders and kind of push her back upright.
Well, that’s what he meant to do.
Her eyes open as if spooked, and she straightens out of his hands.  “Sorry!” she gasps.  Expression all pinched, she looks like she feels really ashamed.
About what, though?  If anything, he feels bad about how tired she is.  “No,” he reassures.  “No worry ‘bout me.”  He’s trying his best to sound comforting…  “Should get some rest, s’okay, I go wake you up befo’ my stop.  Trus’ me.”
Her eyes squint, like she’s straining to focus.  “...maybe.  But I don’t like sleep..on da bus.”
He can’t help a laugh.  “Ha, you look like you goin’ give yourself da kine whiplash back-an-for'-li’ dat, jus’ relax.”
“Mm…”  A noncommittal answer, but one that doesn’t argue, so he can’t push the issue any further, either.
They settle back into the sound of the engine roaring along the highway, and pretty soon, her body’s starting to lean over again.  He refrains from helping her, even though she looks uncomfortable.
She looks like she’s going to wake up with a sore neck.  Her blood’s probably rushing to her head in that position.  That’s not good, right?  She literally just had a fainting spell not too long ago.  So having her head lean against the rattling window pane wouldn’t be ideal, either.  Since they’re sitting at the back, she might really conk her head hard if the bus has to stop.
With more care than the first time, he tries to guide her to lean against him.
For a moment, her eyelids and brows wiggle and bunch up, but swiftly return to their placid state.
It’s nice.
She’s nice.
He should ask her out.  She doesn’t ignore him or outwardly show any disinterest, so…sometime he’ll do it.  Just of course not today.
When he sees that he’s getting close to his stop, he calls her name, “Hinata.  Hinata.”
“Mm.”  She sits up and blinks, a hand hurriedly wiping her mouth.
Drool?  He’s trying not to smile like a goofball, but kind of failing at hiding his selfish amusement.  “I gotta get off now.  You gon’ be okay?”
She nods, making eye contact for a second, only for her gaze to immediately skitter away to some unknown point on the bus floor.
“‘Kay, you take care, yeah?”
She nods again, still refusing to look at him, her hands busy everywhere touching her face and then her hair, fixing who-knows-what.  She murmurs something.
“Huh?” he asks in a knee-jerk reaction before his brain pieces together that it sounded like an apology.  “Oh, no need say dat.”  He reaches over to pull the cord for his stop and grins.  “Maybe I see you tomorrow, yeah?”
She nods, glances up at him for a second, and looks down once more.
He gets off the bus feeling pretty good about himself in the bright morning sun.
Only to realize--
Maybe he should have made sure she got home all the way.
Maybe he should have gotten off at her stop with her.
The library isn’t really that far a walk back to his own home.
She’s probably fine, right?
She wouldn’t have fallen asleep again, right?
Why did she faint anyway?
Should he have asked more?
His consciousness won’t let up.  He could call, but if he calls, then he really probably will need to ask her out eventually.  Well, he plans on it anyway, but if he calls, then that would really solidify things, and she’d expect something from him by, like, tomorrow.
Well, that’s all hypothetical.  If he can even find her name in the phonebook...
...He finds it.
“Who you calling?” his mom asks, teasing him, as she pops up beside him in the kitchen.  “Noddah one of your girlfriends?”
“...No…”
“Ohh, you asking a girl out?  Why you no jus’ call her?  She goin’ turn you down, ah!” she laughs, all by herself.  “Who like go out wit you, ah?”  Her laughter rings throughout the house.
He wishes he could yell at her to shut up, but then she’d go get the slipper and give him some serious dirty lickins.
So he keeps his eyes on the phonebook, and with his mom’s derision motivating him, picks up the receiver and hooks his finger into the first digit, gaining self-confidence with each pull, release, and spin of the dial.
If it’s the parents, then that’s fine.  He’ll make a good impression.  Maybe.  He doesn’t need to talk to Hinata, he just wants the family to know that she fainted.  He gets the feeling Hinata’s not the type to talk about things like that to her family.
But then...maybe the cannery already called them about it.
The dial tone ends.
He takes a readying breath.  “...Hello?”
“Hello?”  It’s a young girl’s voice.
“Is this Hinata’s house?” he continues, desperately trying to imitate a school valedictorian or maybe a teacher...
“...Yeah...Who’s this?”
“This is Naruto...I, uh, work same place, at da cannery.”
“...She’s not home, yet.  And she’s not supposed to talk to boys.”
What?  I tought she in dat social club?  “Well, I no need talk to her.  I jus’ like you guys know that, uh, she wen fainted at work, yeah.”
“...”
“...So, she should be home soon, I get off da bus a little befo’ her, I jus’ like try check she gets home okay..yeah..”
“...Okay.”  In the background, he hears a faint voice talking before the girl on the line continues, “It’s a boy.”
“Huh?”
“He’s saying Hinata fainted at work.  And that she should be home soon.”
He realizes she’s talking to someone else, so he awkwardly waits.
“Okay, ...uhhmm...”  Her voice trails out for a solid second.
She talking to me now?  “Oh, yeah?”
“Thank you, I’m gonna go meet her.  Bye.”
“Oh-”  The line cuts, his own goodbye stuck in his throat.  He places the receiver back down, uncertain what to make of that whole exchange, wondering what about it left him dissatisfied.  He did what he meant to do, after all...  That must have been a younger sister.
“Hinata?  You neva talk about her befo’,” his mom observes as she gathers her things for work.  “You met her at da cannery?”
“No, she one year youngah dan me at sku’.”
“She wen faint?  Why you neva walk her back home, ah?!”
“I no tink dat until aftah!” he defends.  “Das why I wen call!”
“You no can get one decent girlfriend acting li’dat, ah!, dis stupid son of mine, ahh, ah, if you jus’ focus on sku’ mo’, get bettah grades, get mo’ smartah, ah,” his mom tuts and laments off on a tangent, and he ignores her.
He sees her off for work at the door, his mind turning back to whether he needs to ask Hinata out tomorrow.  Especially since, “She’s not supposed to talk to boys.”  What’s that about?
-
He never does find out.  There’s no way he could ask such a question, and the summer passes too fast for him to face her plainly.  He’s not sure why, but whenever he imagines her turning him down, the idea hurts a lot more than it should.
Logically, he knows itʻs just a yes or no answer.  He’s been turned down here and there.  He’s gone on numerous dates, danced with girls, and played silly social games with the opposite sex at parties.  And concerning Hinata, she’s a year younger than him, so the chances of seeing her on campus are a lot smaller, so he wouldn’t have to face her that often if she does turn him down.
So why can’t he just ask her out?
-
She held out hope.
She thanked him profusely the day after, and he was extremely nice to her.  He went back on the bus with her for that entire following week's shifts, making sure she was okay, before he determined that she was safe enough without him.
He went back to surfing in the mornings.
The day of their last shift, she held out so much hope.
He didn’t ask her out.
So she tries to shrug it off.
The disappointment.
The deep, far too deep, disappointment.  She’s probably just not his type.
But to her surprise, that’s not the last time she sees him before school starts.
Their social clubs host a joint car wash to raise money.
She pushes down her shy feelings, knowing that if he has absolutely no interest in dating her, then there’s really no reason for her to act strangely around him.  It would simply be rude of her to ignore him after spending all summer the way they did on the bus together.  Gathering her courage, she walks up to him and calls out his name, “Naruto!  Hi!”  She smiles, hoping to appear as cheerful as possible.
“Oh!”  He turns from his friends, already knowing whose voice it was, but still caught off-guard.
She’s dressed really casually--in shorts, a shirt, and rubber slippers, obviously appropriate for the day’s work, but still strange to see on her.  He somehow thought maybe she didn’t own casual clothes like that.
“Hinata!  Hi!” he responds, a little belatedly.  He feels really stupid, somehow his grin feels unnatural, too tense.  He watches her smile again and then turn back to her friends.
Something gnaws at his consciousness, like he missed out on saying or doing something he should have done in that moment.  Ask her how she’s been in the past week?  He just saw her not too long ago, so that would be dumb to ask.
“Whose dat again?”
He blinks out of his stare and turns to Sasuke.
“Hinata.  Hinata Hyuuga.  We bo’ worked night shift at da cannery.”
“You ask her out?”
“...No, nah yet…” he admits, nerves crawling around, making him feel guilty out of nowhere.
Sasuke raises a brow.  “You like her?”
He shrugs his shoulders, frowning, trying to play off the intrusive question as nothing to him.  “...Yeah…”
Now both of Sasuke’s brows are raised.
Naruto shifts uncomfortably.  Every single second here is making him realize he should’ve gotten the deed done and over with already.  Now she’s around all of his fellow club members.  Any one of the other guys could ask her out by the end of the day.
She could take a liking to one of his friends.  He realizes that his chances were so much higher when it was just the two of them.
-
She and Sakura walk around helping to pass out sponges and buckets.  They introduce themselves to several boys, all of them very friendly.
Hinata herself feels very friendly.  After her act of courage in facing Naruto, after getting that difficult exchange done with, she feels pretty bold.
She’s in this social club to have fun!  She won’t let a little one-sided crush damper her day!
True that none of the other guys are as naturally magnetic as Naruto, but she knows that first impressions aren’t everything.  All of these guys in his social club seem perfectly nice, helping to fill and carry the heavy buckets of water for the girls.
She sets to work on a car, excitedly engaging in discussions about the new school year with whoever works beside her.  And with an observant eye, she manages to not work on the same side of a car as Naruto.
Two hours pass in laughter and good spirits, even with how the noonday sun beats down, pouring heat over the asphalt lot.
The once cool water comes out hot from the hose, and the buckets are just puddles of liquid sun she has to dunk her hand and sponge into as infrequently as possible.
The constant bending is nothing to her, though.  After a whole summer of cannery work on her feet, she’s pretty sure she’s more fit than last year.  She’s not even sweating as much as she thought she would.
Until she gets up too fast.
Her head sears hot, her vision darkening into pinpoints of bright light.
She tries to squint, to see through the sudden tunnels of black, but her eyes burn, and just as quickly, she feels off-balance, her head too heavy to hold up.
She crouches down, face in her hands, confused and pained.
“Hinata, you okay?”  Sakura, most likely.
“I can’t see.”
“What do you mean?”
“I can’t see,” she repeats, trying to stay calm despite the painful splotches of color beneath her eye lids.  “It hurts.”  And she feels like she’s going to pass out, but she refuses to embarrass herself like that in front of everyone.
“Oh my gosh… Water.  Water!” Sakura says louder.
“Wut’s wrong!”  Another voice.
Oh no, not that voice.
“She’s dehydrated I think!”
“Oh shit,” he curses.
Hinata sits as still as possible, focusing on not tipping over into a ball and fainting right there on the dirty, poky ground.  Not again.
“Here, water,” Sakura says, her voice stressed and concerned.  “Can you raise your head?”
“Mm.”  She slowly lifts her face and opens her mouth.
A plastic water bottle is placed at her lips, lukewarm liquid flowing onto her tongue.  She drinks it dutifully, the pain in her head clearing rather quickly.
She eventually pushes the water bottle away and wipes her lips on the back of her hand.  “Thank you,” she breathes out, relieved that her head’s weight is starting to feel normal again.  But she keeps her eyes closed, too afraid to strain her vision.  Or to see if she attracted everyone’s attention...or to find out if Naruto is still there.
“Do you feel better?” Sakura asks, still sounding way more worried than necessary.
“Yeah, thank you, Sakura.”
“Can you see?”
“I don’t know…”  She doesn’t want to test herself too soon, but she cracks her eyes open, if only to assure Sakura that she’s okay.
The world is a bright fog through the slight cracks of her eyelids.
But it doesn’t hurt.
“I’ll be able to see fine in a minute, I think.”
Sakura sighs in relief.  “Good.”
A random boy whose deep voice she doesn’t recognize asks what happened.
“She dehydrated,” Naruto answers.
Hinata doesn’t know whether to feel flattered or dreadfully embarrassed that he’s still there.
“Oh, das not good,” the other boy assesses.
“Yeah…” Naruto agrees.
“I’ll be fine in a moment!” Hinata pipes up, her personality automatically choosing to feel embarrassed.
The unknown guy makes a sound of uncertainty.
“Yeah, Hinata,” Sakura adds on.  “I don’t think you should help out right away.  You could’ve gotten heatstroke.”
“Heatstroke?” she asks.
“Dere’s no shade ‘round hea,” Naruto comments.
Hinata slowly forces her eyes to adjust, hoping to prove them all wrong.  “I can see.  I’m fine.”  She starts to get up carefully.
More sounds of uncertainty resound behind her, and she hates how all three of them are treating her like she could collapse at any moment.
Like, even if she could collapse at any moment, even if that is what just happened, she doesn’t want this to be how everyone sees her from now on.  Like some weak, stupid girl who forgets to drink water on a hot day.
Even if that is what she is.
“I can take her home.”  Naruto’s invitation has her finally turning around to face her audience.
To her relief, it’s just the three of them, Sakura, Naruto, and a pretty, black-haired Japanese boy she’s seen him hanging out with.
“Yeah, take her home,” the pretty boy says.  He claps Naruto’s arm.
Naruto gives some kind of smile that’s really cute, and Hinata has to force herself to try not to examine anything he’s said or done in the past five minutes.
He made her over-examine his behavior all summer, only for it to amount to nothing.  He’s just really nice and treats her like a good friend.  That’s all.
Sakura helps her walk to his car.
And all too soon, she’s sitting right next to him.
Naruto starts up the engine, blasting the AC so that cool air roars onto their heated faces.
“I’m sorry.”  She gulps down a knot of discomfort in her throat, already regretting so much.
“Nah, no need say dat.”  His stomach feels sore, his legs antsy.  He was trying to nonchalantly work on the cars by her, but somehow, he wonders if she was avoiding him.
She’s too nice to do that, right?  She never tried to avoid him at their summer job…
He needs to gauge her interest in him.  So after he backs out of the parking space and safely makes it into traffic, he ventures conversation.  “How you feeling now?”
She nods.  “I feel better.  I could’ve stayed, I think…”
“...Oh…”  He’s already on Moanalua Home Road, and turning around now would be humbug.  “Are you sure?”
“Mm…”  She’s not sure.  She just doesn’t want to seem so frail.
“‘S'okay, ya know?  Already get plenny help, das why, no need chance 'm.”
“Mm...okay… Thank you...I’m sorry…”
With conversation finding its natural, quick end, he finds himself wracking his brain for ideas.  He has about five more minutes with her before they get to her house.  I should ask her out...I should just ask her...just ask her…
“Oh, I like this song.”
“Hm?”  He turns the radio up, glad to focus on something outside of his brain.  “Oh, yeah!”
It’s a newish one by Cecilio and Kapono, one he imagines will be really popular at social club dances, the slow tempo is perfect.
Not knowing what else to do to fill the silence, she starts singing softly.  She can tell he’s glancing at her, but she keeps her eyes fixed determinedly forward, her gut turning to jelly as the romantic meaning registers in her mind.  “...Our small moment that we shared, Is only yours and mine, No one else is really going to know, That I care about you…”
His cheeks flush.  This song really is perfect for a social club dance.  He never paid that much attention to the lyrics, but with her soft voice singing them, the words are suddenly resonating, hitting a little too close-to-home.
“And all the questions that I asked myself about you…”
He's made up his mind.  He’s going to ask her out.
“Won’t you come and be with me…”
Right after this song.
“That if you come and stay you’re going to see, That I care about you.”
He relaxes into his seat, his grasp, unintentionally tight on the wheel, relaxes, too.  If she's comfortable enough to sing in his presence, then there's nothing stopping him from feeling comfortable, too.  It's actually really nice to know that she's willing to do something like this with him.  He's stressed out for nothing.  He's hesitating for nothing.  And maybe, if things work out, this feeling...this moment...would be normal...
She peeks at him, and...he’s smiling.  He’s not teasing, laughing, or grimacing at her.  So she continues singing, relieved.
When the song finishes, he lowers the volume, reassured, readier than ever.  “Hinata…”
She blinks, realizing they’re really close to her house, and Naruto doesn't know where to go.  “Oh!  You turn left at the intersection after this light.”
Jarred to the present, he suddenly notices his heart racing, despite how calm he felt not even ten seconds ago.  The words get lost on his tongue, and he simply follows her instructions, the opportune moment evaporating into nothing.
“It’s that house,” she points, and he slows, pulling over against the curb.
She turns to him to give her appreciation properly.
But he’s facing directly toward her, his usually cheerful expression one of uncharacteristic focus.
Her heart leaps into her throat.
“Hinata," he repeats.  "You like, go movies with me, sometime?”
She nods, speechless, because yes, yes, yes.
And he visibly relaxes.  He can breathe again.  Her agreement was so much easier than he thought it would be.  “I go check da listings den, okay?  And I’ll call you?”
She nods, eyes growing wide as everything starts to sink in.
He nods, too, an embarrassed smile working at his mouth.  “Talk to you later den, yeah?”
“Yeah,” she breathes, a smile forming in reaction.  In a fog of happiness, she steps out of the car, nearly forgetting.  “Oh, thank you for taking me home!”
He nods, thinking that this won't be the last time he makes sure she gets home.  He notices how her happy smile lights up her eyes like earlier at the carwash, but now, it’s directed at him, him only.  And once she disappears into her house, more than anything, he feels incredible relief.
And excitement.
He gets the feeling…
She gets the feeling…
This is going to last.

Sloppy
(A/N: the first in a 4 pt smutty mini "series" to celebrate 90 followers! Hahahaha!!)
I kinda see this as an "epilogue" of sorts for early morning, but it doesn't have to be seen as one if you'd like ^_^ but it definitely takes place after lost and found, that is for certain
Ngl I'm actually super proud of how this turned out 😅
WARNING: (most likely) unrealistic and unprotected sex. Plz- in real life use protection and other things. This is a fic so I can have fun how I'd like XD Some very very light angst/fluff if you squint
...I didn't know what gif to use so I just picked at random XD but he cute tho so I guess it works out in the end. Then again, Dante is always cute
Tumblr media
Dante had long since lost track of how many times they fucked.
All he knew was that it was long enough for Faith's voice to grow hoarse, and for the tight hole between her legs to get ridiculously sloppy with cum.
He also knew he couldn't stop. Literally. He physically could not stop fucking her.
His dick was still rock hard. And even as sleep tugged at his eyelids, he continued to grind his hips into her, chest to back, nose buried in the crook of her neck, enjoying the lewd squelches that erupted from her cunt with each thrust.
Evidence of the long night they'd shared.
"Baby..." he groaned, licking at her skin. "You still up?"
A soft moan was her only reply. Her hips canted, and his cock sank in just a tad deeper into her already drenched pussy.
Fuck.
He sank his teeth into her shoulder and hooked a hand under her thigh, dragging it over his leg. The slow, wet slap of their bodies meeting sounded louder now.
She let out a low gasp. "Dante..."
"Just one more," he whispered, pressing a kiss to her temple. "Just one more, angel, please?"
That got her out of her sleepy haze. "You... you said that hours ago..."
"I mean it this time." His thrusts grew faster, but only slightly. He felt the sticky cum splash onto her inner thighs as he resumed stroking her pearl, coaxing her into one last orgasm.
"You said that, too...!" she whined, only to get muffled by a heated kiss.
"Just relax, babe. I got you." He began to piston inside her, unable to get over just how tight she still was. Hours spent pounding her into the mattress, shooting load after load of his love deep inside her womb, yet she still held on with a vice-like grip.
Fuck. She was so warm. How long had it been since he'd felt this warm?
It made him oddly sentimental. For one split second, old memories of a cold office and an empty bedroom flashed behind his eyelids.
She felt it. He knew from the moment he felt her hand slide through his hair.
"Hey..." she croaked. "Are you...?"
"I'm okay." He was quick to reassure her, and just as quick to buck against her sweet spot. A long, raspy moan spilled from her lips, and it sent a jolt of heat running down Dante's spine.
More cum sloshed out of her. So sloppy. So delicious.
His eyes were locked onto the large bulge that protruded from her stomach with each roll of his hips.
She was so tiny. Sometimes he wondered how she managed to fit him.
But not for long. Her velvety walls squeezed tight around him, and he cursed. More cum oozed out of her, coating his fingers with their combined slick. He fought the urge to bring them to his mouth for a taste.
He could always have his fill of her later.
"Dante..." she moaned. Fuck, she had such a sweet voice. "I can't... Too much...!"
"Yes, you can." He kept pounding inside her, desperately chasing for the high they both needed.
"I- I'm so full..."
Some dark part of himself whispered no, she wasn't full enough. She needed to feel his essence run down her legs with every step she took; she needed to reek of his scent from head to toe. Every inch of her skin needed to be branded by his teeth so anyone looking at her would just know she belonged to him.
He sucked in a deep breath, pressing a kiss to her bare skin. "I know. Just one more."
"Please..."
"One more."
He bit into the back of her neck, savoring the taste of her skin. And he felt her tighten around him as she came, to the point where it was impossible for him to resist falling over the edge himself.
His vision turned white. The pressure in his gut lessened as he pumped yet another hot load inside her overstuffed cunt. He ignored the way half of it soaked his hand and sack, choosing to simply fuck some of it back inside until Faith whined from the overstimulation.
He kissed her. She tasted of salt and leftover ice cream.
It was absolutely addicting.
Dante pressed his forehead against hers, their breaths mingling in the hot air of their bedroom. Out of the corner of his eye, he thought he saw the slightest hint of daylight.
Faith's beautiful golden eyes were glazed with pleasure, and she dreamily reached up to stroke his cheek. "I love you."
"Love you too," he murmured, pressing a kiss to wherever he could possibly reach- her cheeks, eyes, nose, lips- before pulling out from her snug heat.
She winced beside him. "Ouch."
"Sorry." No, he wasn't.
With a grunt, he shifted her from her side to her back, and he crawled to kneel between her legs. "How bad is it?"
A soft groan escaped her throat, and she drowsily dragged a pillow to her chest. "Sleepy... Check tomorrow...?"
He couldn't help a small, exhausted laugh. "I'll be quick. Promise." And he pushed her knees apart.
The skin of her inner thighs glistened with spilled seed. More of it dripped down from her hole, and when he dared to widen it slightly with his thumbs, an impossible amount of the liquid gushed out- a never ending stream of white cream.
She smelled like she was his.
...
...He was hard again.
Shit.

A/N: I actually managed to write this in one day, and im very surprised at myself. When I wrote my two very first smuts, it took me a WHIIIIILE to finish just cuz I got super embarrassed 😅
Also why do I feel like this is exceptionally more filthy than the others? Is it cuz I just skipped straight to the smex???

Note
Y'all I had a dream.
It's so crazy, it would only be compared to a Hopping High Mad Hatter.
OMFG.
This dream starts out okay like I'm with my friends and holy shit, we looked amazing. (Like why can't I be this gorgeous irl!?) I think we all got a glow up. You guys were there too! Y'all were in the front desk and we're wearing suits.(You definitely could have snagged your bais's in even with out the suits. Just saying.) You two also have to halfs of a crown. Like a gold Laurel wreath tucked behind A and B's right and left ear respectively.(I can tell you apart cuz A had a lip ring!)
And holy shit we are transported to this beautiful gymnasium that's was decorated with these whimsical balls of glitter and the ribbons seemed to dance on their own. Good God, I want to go there just for the scenery.
Then the dream flashbacks to yesterday. Omg that gymnasium was suddenly the most disgusting thing I had ever seen. We were called in to clean. And apparently so was BTS. Intersting. We are seperated into a girl's and boys line. And BTS is obviously, in the other line. Mr.K, one of my teachers from America, comes and grabs Tae. But something's is wrong. He's really....small? Like he's a traniee again! What!? But I could not even read a book when that happened. Then I realised, somehow, I really don't know how, I screwed with the time line. I was having a mental breakdown, cuz I wasn't supposed to do that. It's as if I already knew I made a mistake but did it any way. I could see all the members. They were all teens and so was I. Jungkook was still so small and Namjoon had blond hair. Jimin was taller that Jk but we all know how long that lasted. Yoongi was very skinny and kinda pale and had a bandana tied to his head. Jin was still prettier that me as a teenager. Hobi still had a smile that could generate solar energy. And Tae was still an alein with a boxy smile.
We finish decorating and the boy's come over to hand us all an ice cream, and poor jungkook had to go to the girls line. We were all distracted by screen, but not me. When kookie came to give me mine, I did a litte bow and said (네, 감사합니다) which means (Yes, Thank you.) He was surprised I said thank you, and I was surprised that he was surprised (inseption). And he goes over to call his hyungs. They all walk over to me and me along with them are transported to a room whose only noteworthy point is white. Literally. It's so boring it's giving me anxiety. All the boys are now adults and so am I since I screwed with the time line.(Good job🤦) And holy mother of God. Not to brag or anything but adult me...she is hot as hell.
(Shhh let me have my delulu dreams)
Namjoon walks up to me a puts a gold laurel Wreath on my head. And tells me dead in the face "당신의 누이, 왕국의 사랑받는 공주. 우리와 함께 집으로 돌아가십시오" (which means-Your our sister, the beloved princess of the kingdom. Please return home with us.)
And I look at them like any sane person would since their korean and I'm Indian so there are a LOT of signs pointing to the fact that I am definitely NOT their sister or hell, even their half-sister! But they insist and I'm way to curious for may own good so dream teleported we are to this beautiful palace where we are....
Say it with me now,
Teenagers all at the same time cuz I screwed with the time line.
Well, fuckity.
Then as soon as we step INTO the palace we are all....
Say it with me now,
Adults all at the SAME TIME cuz I screwed with the time line.
And you two are there, I run to you guys, hug you both and call you my Aunts. Holy fuck when did this happen!? Oh! and that crown situation? You are two queen's of the kingdom ruled by 7 kings and they have 1 sister. Me. Fantastic. That's why you two had half a laurel crown each cuz you shared the title of Queen. A few kids run to my and I swear they look exactly like replicas of BTS. But the Rap line were all girls. So three nieces and four nephews come running toward me and omg, these are the strongest kids I have ever seen. They literally tackle me to the ground in giggles and I give them each a giant candy bar like the not-a-parent-yet aunt I am. Then as we were walking into the throne room (I knew it was the throne room cuz of the very obvious and large THRONES in the room) For the king's the thrones formed a semi circle and they sat age wise so Namjoon was the center.
You two sat on a throne couch right below him and I sat right in between you 2 and joon.
Then I woke up to write this at 3:37 am so I am very delusional and trying to remember what joon told me cuz I only know basic Korean. Also side note I ate more sugar the I should have the evening before.
(P.s-I heard drinking a glass of apple juice should help give you vivid dreams B. Also this is written in my doc's and titled "Holy Fuck" fitting name if you ask me!)
Omg baby that dream is crazy amazing. I love dreams like that and we are so fucking honored that we could be in your dreams and as Queens?!?!?! HELL YES!
I love everything about your dream. I love how detailed and vivid it was. That is incredible.
I haven't had a bts dream in so long. I(B) did have a crazy vivid nightmare the night before last: the entire dream took place in the day time and vampires were everywhere. They were chasing me and going to kill me and I was able to kill a few by stabbing them in the neck with ballpoint pens but there were these 4 hot vampire guys that I was terrified of because they were like super powerful(and so fucking hot) but I remember hiding under a table in a Mexican restaurant hoping they couldn't smell me and then at one point I escape and I'm running outside in this super crowded area like a fair/amusement park and I'm trying to call the police but I realize I'm in Italy and I don't know how to get the police and I'm crying telling people there are vampires and no one believes me and the hot vampires catch me and I know they're going to kill me and one slices my wrist in public and starts licking my blood and my blood was so hot and sticky and I felt sick and then I woke up.
Dreams are insane and you are so lucky to be able to dream about BTS and being their sister princess.
You are an absolute delight and we cherish every ask we get from you. You're amazing.
We hope you're staying safe and you were able to go back to sleep. Please send us anymore crazy interesting dreams you have. You're wonderful.

2gether Rewatch ep 1:
I forgot that it starts out with Tine narrating for a bit.
Tine telling his friends about Green and how Green said he'll make Tine change his mind about liking guys
And his friends' immediate responses being Team Green! Is actually super realistic friend group dynamic teasing and I love it.
Tine RUNNING AWAY from Green KILLS me every time!!
And he runs directly to his friends, "Guess who I saw this morning!" 😂 I love their friend group.
Green handing toilet paper to Tine in the bathroom....... Yeah........
Did Green pursue P'Dim like this too? And it worked?? Or did P'Dim pursue Green?? Gosh, now I want like a prequel story for them.
Tine's friends saying he needs to start playing hard ball and then joking about football and baseball 😂👍
Tine's friends dressing up to scare Green! And one's holding a TOILET SCRUB BRUSH! HOW does someone even come up with that!?? It's brilliant!???
"I've taken a few boxing classes." Tine looking absolutely terrified: "Not just a few O.O" (poor bunny :()
Green's skinny jeans are so tight, but like 👌 nice
Green does not strike me as a fickle person. Did he really like Tine? I think he did, but like, what about P'Dim? Part of me feels like he just used Tine to make P'Dim jealous, which is awful and in no way helps Tine's low self esteem.
What's annoying is that Tine does straight up, honestly, and kindly tell Green he's not interested. Green just reads into everything and twists the truth. And won't listen to Tine.
He takes advantage of Tine's kindness and inability to tell him a harsh no, stop. Tine doesn't absolutely, concretely refuse Green and somehow that leaves just enough wiggle room for Green to squeeze in and manipulate the situation.
😂 I forgot about Tine's run when he escapes Green to get drinks 😂😂😂👌 it's the best thing ever. I love him so much. It's such a great little run!!
I think it's interesting that Tine acts happy/drunk from that drug and not just sleepy/dead tired.
Tine's favorite song is Together. Hmm. How fitting.
Poor Tine. Green immediately forgets to hold him up and drops him!
Okay. I can kind of understand the logic of "a fake girlfriend didn't work. Maybe a fake boyfriend will." Because Green is convinced he can change Tine, but what if Tine does admit to liking guys but it's not for Green? Then Green would be forced to acknowledge that Tine isn't rejecting him because he's a guy but because he's genuinely not interested in Green.
I think it's funny that they just had to shoot for the best of the best guy though 😂 why not just someone decently attractive? It worked out brilliantly for them though. The lucky b*stards.
Their little bulletin with a drawn portrait with no likeness at all to Sarawat with a question mark over the face 😂😂😂 and the sticky notes. Very professional detective work y'all are doing over there.
You know what's really weird. When I started watching 2gether, I had no idea who Toptap was but I knew Tine had a brother so I kept wondering who was the brother in the show during ep 1. Now I know who Toptap is and recognize him and I know that Type isn't even introduced as a character until several episodes later. But that was weird to realize because it means that since episode 1 was released I've watched multiple shows with Toptap in them. (Water Boyy, 3 will be free, rewatched love sick)
Sarawat is awesome. He's such a killer. 😂 And his friends are so great!! Gunsmile and Mike. *Chef's kiss*
The cast for this show is perfection. I love all of them. They're all amazing and hilarious and adorable AND amazing actors.
Posting a fake schedule for Sarawat was so smart! Too bad Tine and his friends kinda blew it for him.
Tine's friend Ohm (JJ) said he has a spy that said the schedule is a fake. Who's his spy???
Love the guitar music as Tine's running to Sarawat. How the heck did he manage to get in front of all those girls? There were girls on the stairs below where he and his friends were standing.
I really want to know what Sarawat is thinking when Tine just shows up right in front of him. He and his friends just walk away without saying anything at first. Why?
Sarawat's friends' reactions to Tine calling him an asshole 😂
Tumblr media
What's super interesting to me about their first interaction is that Sarawat has been aware of and probably been watching Tine for a year. Which means he at least has some basic knowledge about Tine. Like he's kind, relaxed, cool (chill), etc. I wonder what he thought about Tine calling him an asshole. Not a great first impression, buuuuut~ it wasn't a first impression. Sarawat already knows that Tine is a good guy.
Is Sarawat just so introverted and socially stunted that he just has no idea how to interact with his crush so he's acting overly cool/cold to him?? I don't understand why he acts like that to his crush?
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I just don't get it.
And then we get this wide shot and I love watching Sarawat's friends' reactions because I love their perspective on everything. But their faces after Sarawat says that and walks away are so funny! And Gunsmile's little wave 😂👌 (not the greatest snapshots sorry)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Guys I just finished part 2. This is bad. This post is so long already.
I feel like Sarawat got lucky because of how stubborn Tine is. Tine's friends are like, "let's find a different target." And Tine goes, "Nah, he's difficult so I have to have him now."
Tine said "email" so now I'm thinking about him speaking English and that Win lived in the US for a year and he's only a year younger than me and how crazy would it have been if I had met him? I went to a school that had a lot of foreign students. So weird. I mean the US is huge so of course the chances are crazy small, but it's fun to think about.
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
I finally understand how Tine's email sounded like he wants to kiss/sleep with Sarawat now. Got it. I was really slow on that, wooow....
Tine's dream is 👌
Sarawat's jacket is 🤤
Fun story (cuz this post isn't long enough already): before I started watching 2gether, I read a post about Tine's dream and that Sarawat turned into Green, but I didn't know Green was a name (and there were no capital letters to indicate that) so I thought that Sarawat must've turned into like a green monster or something in Tine's dream but nope! That's not what that meant!
After that email, I wonder what Sarawat thinks of his crush now. Lol.
I just noticed this bike statue 👌 I love public artwork so much sometimes
Tumblr media
Aaaaaaaaaand now that I've noticed the statue, I also noticed
Tumblr media
That when Tine crashes into the bush, he's somehow magically back at the statue and that little roundabout.
Aw. Okay. I'll give Green one (1) point. It's sweet that he got Tine and was sitting next to him with a smelling thing for Tine to wake up.
This girl Ann is precious. She's so cute.
Tumblr media
This is the shared student number party. I'm a little confused why there are so many people there? Is it multiple student number groups meeting up?
Tine goes from 0 to 100 energy wise real quick! "I'm a chic guy. I like to act cute!" He is so cute. You all know the rest of that speech.
Oh I'm dumb! Sarawat and Tine are both new incoming freshman! Sarawat probably recognized Tine from the concert, but he probably hasn't even seen Tine since then! For some reason I was thinking they've probably had the chance to see each other around University. I'm dumb. So everything Tine is doing, Sarawat has no context for, nothing to compare it to or anything.
Tine.... Breaking the phone..... The cringe.... The secondhand embarrassment.... I'm struggling. It hurts. Oh the pain....
Okay yay!! EPISODE 1: DONE! 😄
I hope you all enjoyed my commentary even though it was very very long. 😂😘

☆*.:。.✿ 𝕞𝕒𝕤𝕥𝕖𝕣𝕝𝕚𝕤𝕥
☆*.:。.✿ Scenario:
(切ない) setsunai
adj.
‘Setsunai’ implies something once bright, now faded. It is the painful twinge at the edge of a memory, the joy in the knowledge that everything is temporary.
Who knew that only one person was required to break two hearts at once?
Who knew that the big word ‘love’ could get crushed by the small words ‘he is angry because of how you feel’?
No one ever knew those things, at least not you, at least not Bokuto, your crush.
Three words were needed to make someone’s heart flutter, break, or feel nothing at all.
Three words were sometimes more and sometimes less, sometimes they had a big meaning, sometimes they had no meaning at all.
“He doesn’t like you back, get over it” Harsh words, hitting you like million, no, billion of arrows, and each went through your small fragile heart.
“What?” You furrowed your eyebrows. This one word slipped out of your mouth and gave you the hope that she only talked to the wrong person, about the wrong person.
“Bokuto. The Volleyball’s ace and captain, he doesn’t like you. He told me he is actually pretty angry about your feelings” Your heart got ripped out, stuck into a bucket of corrosive acid, and you only got it back after it was half-way etched away. The feeling you just described wasn’t exaggerated, no, it was exactly what you felt at this very moment.
“Oh, you mean him?” A small and cheerful laugh just slipped over your lips so causally. “I never knew I had feelings for him?” You just lied straight through your teeth.
Honestly, you had never seen that person who stood in front of you. No matter how much you tried to convince yourself that they could be lying, there was no way your heart would accept it. A stranger lying to you? It sounded much better than it was.
“I just wanted to tell you that. But I am glad you didn’t catch feelings for him” smiling so bittersweetly at you, they left.
How could they look so happy after breaking someone’s heart so recklessly?
Wasn’t that almost like killing someone and coming away with that so easily?
Wasn’t that the same?
The sweet memories of you two were lingering in your mind. The memories were almost just as sweet as honey and sugar mixed together, maybe they were less sticky, they were also less unhealthy, but sweeter than the mixture.
The soothing and perfect voice of his also lingered in your mind, the voice which made you laugh each day, the voice which would always scream out his oh too well known ‘hey hey hey!’.
The hugs he would give you were like heaven. It felt like cotton candy was wrapping around you, and if you would be too rough it would just immediately melt, so you held him as tenderly as possible.
All those memories, which couldn’t leave your mind, started to drive you crazy.
Did those moments mean nothing to him?
Apparently, they didn’t.
Your smart brain, even if it was really confused for the first few days, got to the idea to just avoid him. To just never talk to him.
Your heart felt worse than it should feel. With each minute of not seeing him, a small piece fell out of the heart shape. With each small piece that felt out, your heartache got only worse.
You couldn’t take this all.
Your heart couldn’t take this all.
Each time you tried to finally breathe, it felt like your heart just stopped beating, each time you tried to finally let go from the sweet memories, your mind caught the best and just burned it under your skin.
Each breath started to get harder, your chest heavier, and your mind dizzier. You could barely breathe because, with each time your chest rose, it felt impossible to breathe out again.
Your heart clenched every time you took a deep breath in, and the clench would only tighten around your small fragile, already so damaged heart after breathing out.
And the moment you got home, those tears were just streaming down your cheeks.
The salty tears stained your cheeks red left your eyes red and puffy, and you could feel how thirsty you grew from crying so much.
Each tear felt out of your eyes easier and easier, it felt almost relieving to you, almost nice to cry your heart out in your room.
But it would feel much greater if you wouldn’t have been crying over Bokuto.
The small simple breathes started to turn into heavy sobs, started to get louder with each sob, started to get uglier with each second.
One person, and a few words, and you had been already dead inside.
Everything is temporary.
And hopefully, your feelings are too.
You tried to blink the tears away, tried to wipe them away, but new tears just kept on storming down your cheeks.
From the day you started to ignore him, he started to notice it.
You never came to his games, never to his practice, and god damn it, you never even texted him?
What happened between you and him?
Your friendship was crumbling and he had no idea what happened.
Luckily, he had Akaashi who would help him out. But sadly, his only advice was just to talk to you.
How was Bokuto supposed to talk to you if you avoided him?
He tried anyway, and to his luck, he found you at the lunch table in the corner, while lunch.
He joined you, but you ignored him.
He tried talking to you, but you kept quiet.
Until he just blurted it out, he just straight up said it, almost screamed it “I really like you, so please stop ignoring me!”
You finally looked at him, in shook even almost dropped the chopsticks you held in your hands.
What?
He liked you?
“Eh?” blinking at him, you could feel again how those tears welled up in your eyes. “Can we go on a date?” He blurted out again, his face being red, and your heart just beat as fast as possible, in the same rhythm.
Would you agree though?

Multiple Second Chances Chapter 24: Kwami Visits
Marinette freaks out to the kwami.
@adrinetteapril
Enjoy!
First Chapter | Previous Chapter | Next Chapter
Read on Ao3
“So…” Plagg began, staring at Marinette screaming into her pillow. “I take it she found out?”
“Looks like it,” Tikki said with a sigh. She side eyed Plagg. “You really should’ve emphasised to your chosen just how important it is to keep their identities safe.”
“Oh, please, sugarcube.” Plagg rolled his eyes. “Fu ain’t around any more and neither are his stupid rules that all but tied their hands behind their backs.”
“They aren’t stupid! They kept them safe!”
“Yeah, which leaves pigtails without any support and my kid completely in the dark most of the time,” Plagg snapped back. Tikki pressed her mouth into a thin line, but didn’t argue. “Besides, you should’ve seen how hopeless Adrien was with all his sighing about how great Ladybug was.” He stuck out his tongue in disgust.
“Oh, I think I can relate,” Tikki said, her eyes roving the room to see all the posters and pictures that adorned it. “But I guess its no use wondering what we should have done. Let’s-”
“Hey, M! Listen!” Mullo was floating over Marinette’s head. Something must have gotten through since she was no longer screeching, which definitely improved things. “You’ve got to pull yourself together and face this with one mind!”
“Mullo!” Tikki angrily whispered, rushing over to Marinette. “You can’t just-”
“They’ve got a point though,” Plagg said, lazily floating over to the others. “Freaking out isn’t gonna do anything. And honestly, it's about time it happened anyway.”
“Let her get it out of her system! She’ll be fine in a little bit.” Tikki turned her attention to her chosen, her fierce expression melting into one of concern. “I’m sorry you had to find out so suddenly, Marinette. Do you want to talk about it?”
Marinette removed the pillow from her face, staring up through her ceiling door to the darkening sky above. The kwamis watched with growing concern as the seconds dragged on. The screaming was almost preferable.
“Adrien is Chat Noir,” Marinette said in a whisper.
“Dead on, pigtails,” Plagg replied. Tikki glared at him.
“Think about it Marinette. Is it really that unbelievable?”
“I mean… it makes sense now that I think about it.” She ran her fingers through her hair. “They’re both super sweet… and funny…”
“And…?” Tikki prompted with a small smile.
Marinette buried her face in her hands. “...And really cute.”
“See?” Mullo said brightly. “Its all coming together-”
Her eyes widened and she bolted upright, sending the kwamis flying to get out of the way. “Chat Noir knows I’m Multimouse! Adrien knew I was Multimouse this whole time!” Her eyes narrowed and she puffed out her cheeks in anger. “That sneaky snake…”
“Didn’t you know Aspik was Adrien the whole time?” Plagg grinned.
“That’s not what’s important!”
Plagg cackled. “If you say so, pigtails. You’re just miffed cuz he was doing the same con you were.”
“...So what are you going to do next?” Mullo asked innocently.
“I…” Marinette deflated, her brief righteous anger vanishing in a puff of smoke. “I don’t know. Do I tell him?” The question was directed at Tikki, who shrugged.
“You’re the Guardian now, Marinette. All this identity stuff is your call.” She hugged Marinette’s face. “You’ve done such a wonderful job so far, I’m more than happy to go with whatever you decide.”
“Thanks, Tikki.” She returned the hug with her hand and motioned for Plagg and Mullo to come over with her spare hand. “C’mon you guys, group hug!”
Mullo squeaked with joy and rushed to Marinette’s side. Plagg looked away, crossing his arms.
“Plagg…” She said in a singsong voice. “Don’t you want your hug?”
“No, I-”
“Just get over here you sticky sock,” Tikki said, rolling her eyes.
Begrudgingly, he slowly floated over to them. Despite his protests, he purred loudly when he joined the hug.
Now Marinette just needed to decide how she was going to handle this situation…
