#dad!Calum Hood fan fiction

Note
the hood family going to watch calum on a late night tv show like james corden or something and in the middle of the interview lil logan runs up to calum bc he wants to sit with him and it’s the cutest thing ever like logan has no idea what he’s doing he just wants to sit with his best friend and nobody can stop him🥺
Stop it, this is so cute. I was all pouty faced the entire time I wrote this, but Logan just is so in love with his daddy. 🥺
Enjoy!
It was chaotic outside of the dressing room. All of the crew members running around to try to make what was happening in front of the cameras look as smooth as possible. That’s why Caum had told Logan to stay with his mom no matter what. To be honest, Calum hadn’t even wanted his son to come along due to how easy it could be to get trampled or lost backstage at a TV show; but it’s hard when the little toddler threw an absolute fit when he tried dropping him off.
They had driven with the kids over to Luke and Sierra’s house, mainly to drop off the kids with Sierra, but also to pick up Luke since he hadn’t wanted to drive. Aiden went running into the house, no problem. It’s never a problem, being that he’s not-so-secretly in love with Sierra. Calum carried Logan into the house and attempted to put him down on the couch, but the toddler squeezed Calum’s neck even tighter, nearly choking him. “Logan, you need to stay here with Auntie Sierra and your brother. We’ll be back for you in a couple hours.”
That was what set him off. The screaming started and the tears started rolling. All Calum could understand through Logan’s hysterical screaming was that Calum was leaving him. As hard as Calum tried to explain that he would be back, Logan could not expect it. Even with Mama saying she would stay with him, he still thought Calum was leaving him. Calum and Mama made eye contact and silently agreed to take the toddler with them.
On the drive to the studio, Luke kept Logan occupied, the car filled with Luke’s laughter and Logan’s laughter. It was when they arrived that Calum picked Logan up out of his car seat and told him to hold onto him until they were in the dressing room. Logan tucked his face into Claum’s neck and Calum reached back to hold onto his wife’s hand, ensuring that no one got lost. Once they were in the dressing room, that was when everything fell into a normal calm.
They were given their 5 minute warning until they had to be ready to go on stage. Calum crouched down to be at Logan’s height, who was sitting on a chair, and this was when he gave him the speech. “Logan, you have to stay with mama no matter what, okay? There are lots of people here and they’re all bigger than you, you could get lost, or get hurt. Do you understand me?” Logan nodded while swinging his legs back and forth. “That’s my boy.” Calum smiled before leaning forward and pressing a kiss to Logan’s forehead.
Logan walked with his hand in his mom’s behind Calum and the rest of the guys. At some point, the guys were directed in one direction, and Logan and his mom were directed in another. One went to the stage, the other went to where they could see the stage, but off to the side. They were introduced and made their way to the stage, all four of them sitting on the couch next to the host who sat behind a desk. Calum sat on the end, Luke directly to his left, then Michael to his left, then Ashton to the next left, right next to the host.
The host asked them questions about their new album and what was coming up in the future for the band. There were of course questions of their personal lives, the ones Calum disliked the most to answer. Calum leaned his head against his hand and listened as the other three answered the questions. Everything was going as it should, until Calum suddenly heard ‘daddy’ being called from a very familiar little voice. When Calum turned, he saw Logan running towards him, tears running down his face. In one swift motion, Logan lifted his arms, and Calum scooped him up onto his lap. Calum calmed Logan for a minute before he realized that everyone was staring at him. “Sorry, he’s going through a phase where he can’t be away from me.” Calum nervously laughed but kept his main focus on Logan.
“Oh, Calum, this is so sweet!” The host cooed excitedly, “I knew you had kids, but I can never remember how old they are. Is this your oldest or your youngest?” The host asked.
“This is my youngest,” Calum kissed the side of his head and allowed Logan to nuzzle his face into the crook of his neck, “Give me a minute to handle this.” Calum says with a soft chuckle. Calum stood, still holding Logan and walked off the stage. The camera followed him as he walked Logan back over to Mama, telling him that he had to stay with her, and that he thought he had understood that.
As soon as he reached Mama, Logan started to throw a fit, not wanting to go to his mom, and wanting to stay with Calum. Calum and Mama went back and forth about trying to get Logan to calm down, but the host spoke up, “Why doesn’t the little one join us?” Calum and mama exchanged a look, but eventually relented and Calum carried Logan back to the stage.
Calum sat back on the couch in his spot and put Logan on his lap, facing outward. Logan swung his legs, and looked over at the host who asked, “What’s your name?”
“Logan!” he answered with a big smile on his face.
“Logan, how old are you?” The host asked again.
“This many!” Logan excitedly held up three fingers.
“Wow, you’re so big! Logan, do you love hanging out with your dad all the time?” The host leaned forward a bit to keep Logan’s attention.
Logan nodded furiously and looked back at Calum, “Daddy’s my best friend.” The entire crowd ‘aw’d.’ Calum nearly forgot he was sitting in front of a crowd. Calum smiled at Logan and ran a finger down his cheek, simultaneously moving his hair from his face.
“Do you know the name of your daddy’s band?” Logan nodded and swung his feet, effectively kicking Calum in the shins. Calum nonchalantly grabbed his legs to spot him from kicking him. “Great, I want you to look at that camera and tell it that your daddy’s band is coming up next, playing their new song.” The host pointed, and Logan’s eyes followed.
He looked back at Calum for encouragement and Claum nodded. Logan looked at the camera and said, very shyly, “My daddy’s band, 5 Seconds of Summer, is up next.” The crowd cheered and music started playing, indicating they were headed to a commercial.
Once the commercial break had started, Calum picked Logan up and carried him off stage. “Remember how I told you to stay with mama, no matter what?” Logan nodded, “You didn’t listen.“ Logan looked down, knowing he was in a little bit of trouble. Calum kissed the side of his head, “It’s okay, but you have to stay with mama while I sing my song, okay?” Logan nodded and wrapped his arms around Calum’s neck.
“I’m sorry, daddy, I just love you.” Logan said while resting his chin on Calum’s shoulder.
Calum couldn’t help but to smile, “I love you too, Logan.” With that, they headed back to the dressing room to get ready for their performance.

“Nico, c’mon, go with grandma I’m not going to be long.” Calum said, trying to pry off his now one year old daughter.
But she wouldn’t budge. She tightened her grip around his neck, nearly choking him. He tried everything, even tickling her. But that only annoyed her, and the last thing he wanted to do was get her upset on her birthday. On the other hand he didn’t want to bring her to the interviews he had to do. One thing he learned from last week’s promo was that even Nico can get annoyed with watching Encanto ten times in a row. He also doesn’t want Nico anywhere near James Cordon because he knew that James would annoy his kid and ruin her mood for the rest of the day.
“Bring the little demon, we’re already late.” Ashton called from the driveway gate.
“Ah!” Nico frowned when she heard Ashton call her a demon. She leaned over and smacked the top of his head.
Calum rolled his eyes. “Shit like that is why she doesn’t like you mate.” He told Ashton as he unlocked the car to get Nico in. He buckled her in and whispered to her, “You know he doesn’t mean it.”
The one year old looked up at the sun roof, annoyed. It was her version of rolling her eyes since she hadn’t mastered her eye rolls yet. For Calum’s sake he hoped she didn’t until she was at least fifty.
He turned to his mom. “We’ll be back in a few. Think you can hold down the fort?” He asked her.
“Of course, darlin'." Joy said.
“I left a list of all the people that are gonna come by. If anything happens or something gets mixed up just call me. I also left—”
“Just go. We’ll be fine.”
Calum nodded and gave Joy a side hug. He rounded over to the driver’s side. He opened the gate and back out of the gate. He waved to his mom as he followed Micheal’s car to James’ studio. They lucked out and were able to push back recording because the guests had something else to do in the evening.
For which Calum was grateful because after the band’s appearance, they had to do another interview, and after that interview he had to rush home to get him and Nico ready for her birthday party. Though he silently cursed at the band’s management for getting them interviews on Nico’s birthday.
A familiar olive green Jeep was parked in the studio.
It was Alexis Ximena’s.
Calum rested his head on the steering wheel when he parked next to Michael. He wasn’t ready to see her. Last night ended on an awkward note. When they decided to take things to her bedroom, they didn’t go as far as they hoped. Dr. Manny walked in on them while Calum’s face was buried in between Alexis Ximena’s thighs. It was the most awkward moment of his life. And to make matters worse Dr. Manny was carrying Nico. Not only did his daughter’s pediatrician see him doing things with HIS daughter, but Calum managed to traumatize his own daughter.
Ashton knocked on his window, making him look up. He tapped his wrist, as if he had a watch, motioning Calum to hurry up. Calum flipped him off and begrudgingly got out of the car. He unbuckled Nico and handed her to Ashton, so he could get her things from the trunk.
They both shared an uncomfortable look, but Nico allowed Ashton to hold her. They watched Calum grab the stroller and place everything the one year old could need, stuffing it in the bottom basket of the stroller. Ashton passed Nico back to him so he could buckle her in her stroller.
He draped her blanket over the stroller, blocking the bright sun for Nico. He pushed the stroller and followed Ashton where Michael and Luke were. A backstage crew member approached them and guided them to their greenroom.
Calum had never been so happy to see goldfish snacks. He grabbed all of the packets and some of the snacks provided and stuffed them in Nico’s backpack because he didn’t pack any for her since she was supposed to stay with his parents and Mali. He also grabbed a few water bottles in case she got thirsty.
He unfastened Nico from her stroller and sat her down next to him. He dug in her backpack, thankful that he had packed her an extra pair of shoes because they left without putting on shoes on her. He pulled out a pair of white Nike Cortez with a pink swish that matched her pink Nike tracksuit.
“You have some fucking nerve showing you’re face here.” Calum heard Michael say.
He looked over his shoulder and found Alexis Ximena standing at the entrance wide eyed and confused.
“What did I do?” She asked, surprised.
“You were in The Batman!” Michael exclaimed.
“I never said I wasn’t.”
“But you never said you were.”
Alexis Ximena rolled her eyes and pushed past him, making her way to Nico. The one year excitedly made grabby hands at her. Alexis Ximena picked her up and kissed her cheeks.
“Happy birthday!” she sang to her. She turned to Calum. “Why is your daughter dressed like Ruth Rose?”
“Who?” He asked, taking Nico back in his arms because she took her shoe off.
“From the ‘A-Z Mysteries’, she’s one of the main characters and she always wore monochromatic outfits.”  she explained.
Calum furrowed his eyebrows in confusion, not knowing what she was talking about.
“Forget it.” she waved him off. She looked down at Nico and giggled. “She took her other shoe off.”
Calum shook his head, “you’ve got to be shitting me Nico.”
*
By 2pm, Nico’s party was in full swing. Calum felt proud that the party came out pretty nicely. He had gone all out with strawberry decorations as it was Nico’s favorite fruit. From strawberry balloon arches to strawberry based desserts. There was a taquero stationed next to the makeshift bar and dessert table. Michael was in the backyard manning the DJ booth playing various genres of kids songs.
“No,” Calum told Nico sternly, pushing the fresas con crema out of her reach.
The one year old frowned. Nico bent sideways trying to get off her high chair. But she couldn’t. Out of anger, she leaned forward and swiped the plate of tacos Calum got for them to share on the ground. She clapped happily when Duke trotted over and ate the food. She stopped then looked at him, making pleading eyes and gesturing to the cup of fresas con crema.
"No." He repeated. He got up from the stool next to her and went to grab a beer.
"Has she eaten?" Joy asked him as she fixed the gift table when he passed her.
"No," he sighed. "She's being a little shit."
"Take one to know one, darling." She said nonchalantly.
"Oi!" He blinked at her, surprised at her comment.
"When you were her age all you wanted to eat was fairy bread and Tiny Teddies."
"Well you did make the best fairy bread."
“I’m aware.” She smiled proudly. She looked around, making sure no one was close.
Calum knew that look. She was about to have a serious talk with him or she was going to interrogate him about something Mali told her.
Her smile softened,“Mali mentioned Alexis was coming.”
Calum blinked in surprise, remembering when Aaliyah introduced them almost two years ago when they were at FireFight Australia. “You remember Alex?”
“Of course I do. She’s a nice girl. She was in Sydney a few months back and I ran into her and she invited me to lunch. So how serious is it?"
The doorbell rang before he could answer her.
"I'll get it." He announced, rushing over to the front door.
Calum got nervous hoping it was Alexis Ximena. He walked inside and did a quick u-turn to the kitchen and took the fresas con crema cup away in case Nico tried to make someone give her the cup. He quickly checked himself in the mirror by the front door. He smiled brightly when he opened the door but quickly dropped his smile when he saw it was just Ashton and Marina.
"Oh it's you." He said, stepping aside to let them in.
"Hello to you too." Ashton grumbled.
"Where's the birthday girl?" Marina asked Calum.
"In the kitchen." he answered
He took the present Marina had in her hand and led her and Ashton to the kitchen. Nico sat sadly on her high chair, but she smiled brightly at Marina. She made grabby hands at her.
“Hi birthday girl.” Marina said softly. She approached Nico and let her touch her growing belly. She giggled when Nico’s eyes widened when the baby kicked her hand. “The baby says happy birthday too.”
He eyed Marina's belly and felt nauseous. It was a reminder of what he missed. It was a part of Nico that he never got to see or experience since he never saw Loli pregnant. He never got to see Nico through the ultrasound or hear her heartbeat or feel her kick Loli's belly. It was almost a whole year that he missed. Part of him wished he could turn back time and be there for Loli, for his daughter, but it was impossible. At least he got to see her now and he wouldn't give that up.
Calum wandered out to the yard and got more food before joining his parents, Mali, Luke, and Elijah were. He fell into conversation, nodding along to whatever they were talking about while he ate. He would look over to the kitchen where Marina had.
"¡Feliz Cumple!" He heard Alexis Ximena tell Nico.
Before he could even turn around to head back inside, Luke pushed past him. He rolled his eyes as his best friend went over to greet Aaliyah's family as if he was the host of the party. He awkwardly waited for Luke to finish greeting Aaliyah’s family when he heard Nico’s giggles. He looked behind him and saw Alexis Ximena showing her a stuffed crocodile.
Nico kicked her feet excitedly as Alexis Ximena made the stuffed crocodile dance on the table of Nico’s high chair. Calum blinked in surprise hearing her speak a nearly perfect Australian accent as she talked to Nico. He smiled to himself when his one year old took the stuffed crocodile and hugged it tightly.
“Ah!” Nico motioned to Alexis Ximena to give her the cup of fresas con crema.
“No, Nico.” Calum said, grabbing the cup. “You haven’t eaten.”
Nico frowned and pushed the crocodile on the ground.
“Nico!” he said sternly, but in a hush tone so he wouldn’t draw attention to them.
Alexis Ximena picked up the stuffed crocodile and handed it back to Nico. She stood up giving Calum a chance to take her in. She was obviously overdressed, dressed to the nines in a short black dress and tall platform heels. She had a good three inches on him in those heels.
“Why is she dressed like Strawberry Shortcake?” She asked him, gesturing to Nico who babbled to her crocodile.
“She’s not dressed like cake?”
“No,” she shook her head. “The cartoon.”
“There’s a cartoon about cake?”
“No menso, hold on.” She pulled out her phone and quickly typed. “You have the worst wi—oh it loaded. Here.” She showed him her phone screen.
There were images of a cartoon little girl dressed in a strawberry hat, denim overalls with a striped pink and white long sleeve under and yellow shoes. Calum looked over to Nico and she wore almost the same thing except, “Nico’s wearing a bucket hat and a denim dress. Not to mention, she has gold Vans. Obviously it’s not the same. Maybe they copied Nico.”
“The show came out in 2003.”
“Oh, good to know they support the LGBTQ community.”
“You’re a fucking smart ass. You and that mouth of yours are a deadly weapon.”
“You would know.” Calum smirked at her.
Clearly flustered, Alexis Ximena announced. “I’m going to get food.”
She turned on her heel almost immediately and went out into the backyard to get in line for food. After she went up where Aaliyah was and greeted Fiona and Marina. They all looked at her with knowing grins.
“What?”
“What?” the three said in unison.
“What was that back there?” Fiona asked, wiggling her eyebrows.
“Where’s Ethan? You usually use him as an excuse to hang out with Michael.” Alexis Ximena smiled innocently.
“Isn’t that what you did with Nico?” Marina asked before dipping her taco in consomé.
Alexis Ximena turned to Aaliyah. “You told them?!”
“Of course I did.” Aaliyah said “Now don’t say anything about sitting on Cal’s face because your future mother in law is walking over.”
“I wasn’t si— Hi Mrs. Hood!”
***
Calum looked around for Alexis Ximena. He overheard Aaliyah tell Luke that she had a work dinner and he hoped that he hadn’t missed her before she left. He was also keeping an eye on Mitchy, who showed up tipsy and crashed Nico’s birthday party.
To say that Mitchy was Nico’s least favorite person was an understatement. The one year old would rather spend the day getting shots than be near him which was why Calum didn’t invite him to the party.
“You didn’t bring Nico a present.” Calum heard Ethan tell Mitchy.
“And what are you the fucking present police?” The grown man snapped at Ethan as he grabbed a beer from the cooler.
“Butthead.” Ethan muttered before grabbing a juicebox.
Calum sighed and walked over to Mitchy. “Mate, you can’t talk to a kid like that.”
“He’s a fucking dick!”
“He’s two!” He snapped, swiping his face in frustration. “This is why I didn’t invite you. You’re ruining my kid’s party. Nico doesn’t even like you.”
“What are you talking about? Nora likes me. Just watch,” Mitchy walked over to Alexis Ximena who was building a puzzle with Nico. “Ayo Nora!”
Mitchy staggered towards them with Calum calling him to stop. He pulled Nico away from Alexis Ximena and tried to pick her up, but he stumbled and fell, nearly falling on top of the one year old.
Calum couldn’t process anything other than Nico’s arms around his legs. She wailed. He picked her up, “Get him out of my fucking house.” he angrily told Luke and Ashton before ducking inside.
He brought them to the living room and sat on the one person couch. He rubbed Nico’s back, trying to calm her down as she cried inconsolably. He held her close, apologizing for not kicking Mitchy out sooner. He heard footsteps approaching them.
“Cal, I’m so sorry.” Alexis Ximena began sitting on the coffee table across from them. “I was caught off guard and next thing I knew that guy was on the ground and Nico ran to you. I should have been more vigilant. This is my—”
“Alex, you didn’t do anything wrong.” Calum said, wiping a few stray tears off Nico’s cheeks. He maneuvered her so she sat facing Alexis Ximena.
“I guess but I really do feel bad. I should have been quicker or… I don’t know. I could have done something.”
“You should have picked up a tree and swung it at him like in that show where you had a little brother who did that.”
“You watched Gone?”
“Yeah a while ago Aaliyah made us watch it. But Nico saw a banner of it and recognized you when I was looking for Sesame Street on HBO Max. So we started watching it.”
“Sure,” Alexis Ximena nodded, playfully rolling her eyes. Her eyebrows furrowed as she looked around them. “Where’s Nico?”
Calum cursed and jumped from the couch. Nico’s giggles and Duke’s yips were heard from the study. Him and Alexis Ximena followed the sound and found Nico waddling toward Duke, who was behind the doggy door. She giggled and clapped her hands.
Calum’s hand found Alexis Ximena’s. “She’s walking.” He whispered, almost laughing. A few tears rolled down his cheeks. “My baby is walking.”
Due to their height difference, Alexis Ximena couldn't lean into him, but Calum wrapped his arm around her back as she placed her arm over his shoulders. They stood quietly watching Nico with Duke, but they were soon interrupted by Alexis Ximena’s phone.
“Shit” she said, pulling away from him to rummage through her bag. She pulled it out and answered.
Nico finally realized it wasn’t just her and Duke, so she motioned Calum to play with them. He sat down next to the door frame and reached for a soft ball for her to toss to Duke.
Calum watched Alexis Ximena pace around with an annoyed expression on her face as she listened to whoever was on the other end. She bid them goodbye and sighed frustratedly, shoving her phone back in her bag.
“Everything alright?” Calum asked, handing the ball to Nico, who went to hand it to Alexis Ximena.
“My realtor just called me to say that none of the places I was looking into allowed dogs. If they did, they would have to weigh less than forty pounds. Bernie weighs one-fifteen.” She said, sitting next to him.
“You know I was joking yesterday when I teased you about living with Dr. Manny.”
“I know, I’ve been looking for a place for a while now. Especially with now that Bernie is huge. We don’t fit with my dad. So I'm looking for a place so me and Aaliyah can finally live together like we planned our senior year when I booked ‘Gone.’”
“Or you could move in with us.” He offered. “Our dogs get along, my house is pretty big so you wouldn’t have to worry about Bernie feeling like he has no space.”
“I can’t accept,” she said, shaking her head. “Nico’s grandparents live next door. What would they think about someone that’s not their daughter around their granddaughter.”
“Me letting them near Nico is just a courtesy. Legally speaking, they’re not her grandparents.”
“What do you mean?”
“When Loli dropped off Nico, she signed off any right she had, including her parents claiming her as their grandkid. But I’m not an arsehole, so I let her parents see Nico. Sometimes they watch her when I go run an errand, but Loli is completely out of the picture, especially after what went down a few months back.”
“Oh…”
“So you have nothing to worry about.”
Alexis Ximena nodded. She sat quietly and watched Nico and Calum. She did like spending time with them. Yesterday gave her hope for her and Calum, but she knew better than to get her hopes up. Even more if she was going to live with them.
“Fine, but I’m going to need two rooms.”
“Why two?”
“Where do you think my clothes and shoes are gonna go?”

Out of my limit
This was requested by anonymous.
A/N: I tried my best to research everything, but I am almost sure that I got some details wrong. I really tried and I hope you like it! I also remembered that I watched “The Dirt” and I totally forgot about that.
Pairing: OC Stevie Joan Lee & Calum Hood
Words: 1k
Warning(s): swearing, mentions of drug use, angst (I guess)?
Tumblr media
Even before you were born, the world already knew who you were. You are named after rock stars just like your younger brothers, Stevie Joan Lee, daughter of the famous Tommy Lee and Pamela Anderson. Growing up you stayed away from the spotlights, people knew of you, but they didn’t know who the real Stevie Joan was. You tried to stay out of your father’s crazy lifestyle and for a while it worked. That was until you took a liking to a famous Australian based band called 5 Seconds of Summer… and to be even more specific a bass player called Calum Hood.
You swore on your life that you would never fall for an artist or even someone famous, seeing how your dad was. You loved that he got to do what he loved, but you hated how he was rarely home or how hard the rock star life was on his health. On the other hand, you went to school and tried to live as normal of a life as possible. You fangirled at concerts and fantasized about meeting 5sos. However, you could easily let your dad’s team call someone and have it arranged but seeing that you wanted to live a normal life, it stayed a fantasy. You know the guys from 5sos are big Mötley Crüe fans and a meeting could easily be arranged, but you didn’t want your dad interfering with your life and interests. You weren’t much of a spoiled brat, you paid for a lot of things yourself because you are a strong independent woman for fuck’s sake.
In 2019, you went to yet another 5 Seconds of Summer concert, your friend got the tickets for the two of you, and you couldn’t be happier. The tickets were general admission, meaning you were waiting in line way before the concert even started, so you could get to the front and admire Calum from up close. You had done this before by multiple of their concerts and every time you were more in awe of how gorgeous he was. It may sound absolutely weird as can be, but you were in love with him. Not the fangirl in love with him where you faint. No, I’m talking the whole butterflies in the stomach, can’t think straight when you see him, type of love.
That night you and your friend had made it to the front near the spot where Calum would be later on. What happened next felt like a fairytale or a fan fiction. Calum saw you and danced with you all night (him still on stage obviously) and invited you backstage after the concert. It wasn’t until you introduced yourself as ‘Stevie Joan’ that he realised you were Tommy Lee’s daughter. You exchanged numbers, three days later he asked you on a date, and you have been dating each other ever since. You never really got used to his lifestyle, it was far less crazy than your father’s, but it was crazy nonetheless. You joined him on tour whilst he was in America, during his visit to other countries you kept close contact.
You received a text from him saying that he was in Amsterdam with a photo attached of him smoking with the guys. You texted him back that he should be careful and that you missed him. After that you received a photo of them with a lot of girls, you weren’t blind you knew they had groupies and Calum had promised you that he would never do anything with them. However, this night you felt like something was different, he still hadn’t replied to your text saying that you missed him and the girl in the photo was a little too close to Calum to just be friendly. Instagram was the best for your own FBI investigation to whom this girl was. As soon as you typed in 5 Seconds of Summer more photos popped up from this night and from the nights before according to the timestamp underneath the photos. You know you shouldn’t have, but you began to read the comments.
“Good to see Calum finally enjoying himself”
“He should dump his girlfriend, she’s holding him back”
“He is only with her because of her father”
“I bet they aren’t even really dating”
Could that be true? Was he really dating you because of your father? What would he get out of it, more fame? You went insane that night. You tried calling him multiple times, but he never answered any of them. You tried to call Ashton as he was the only one you were close too besides Calum. He didn’t answer either, but you did get a text from him saying that he was sorry.
That night you went to bed and cried yourself to sleep. The next morning you did something you never thought you would do, you called your father. After speaking with him, you packed all your stuff from the flat you and Calum shared in LA and left to go to your father’s house. You welcomed you with open arms as you fell into them, sobbing. You really thought Calum was the one, but it turns out he wasn’t.
**********
Calum went crazy in Amsterdam. He had seen the pictures that were taken last night, and he feared the most. He tried calling you so many times, he had even called your brothers, but they wouldn’t tell him anything. He couldn’t sleep in his own bed on his own, so he went to Ashton’s room. Ashton tried to console him but just like you had, he cried himself to sleep, but not before he saw Ashton send you a text. Was it really over?

7:00 am
I have taken yet another drag from my cigarette and exhaling the smoke out of my lungs before dropping it on the ground and stepping on it.
The air was heavy, snow was slowly falling to the ground and I was shivering.
Soft music was playing in my ears while I hugged myself trying to keep myself warm. Wearing a leather jacket in January was the worst idea ever.
New York streets were as busy as always, cars honking and people running all over the streets in order to get to work.
I walked into my favourite, empty, coffee shop and ordered my regular. The waitress handed me my order and we wished each other a nice day.
People are really nice this time of year, still been affected by the Christmas spirit.
As I walked into my office, I greeted my colleagues. I liked working here, people were nice, my boss was like my best friend and my job was fun. I worked in a law firm as a legal secretary.
"Adelaine, can you please help take something down to Luke?" my boss came to my office smiling widely and immediately started telling me about her last night while we grabbed a bunch of files and papers to take them downstairs.
"And then he took me to this to this really nice restaurant in Manhattan and then we walked around the town while throwing snow balls at each other."
"I sometimes forget you two are 30." she giggled at my words as the elevator doors opened and a tall blonde man ran towards us to take heavy files from our arms.
He kissed her quickly and took me for a quick hug.
Luke and Kristen have been dating for a while now and still are in love like in the beginning.
"I'll leave you two to do your thing." I smiled at them and turned around my heels.
I had to get back to my work and finish all my tasks for a day.
My everyday consisted of answering the phone, bringing people to Kristen and sometimes even went with her to the court.
She was the youngest of three siblings, but she was the one who took over her dad's firm.
She already worked on some of the biggest cases in the past 2 years and was my biggest inspiration to continue my education.
____
12:00 pm
Kristen came to pick me up for a lunch meeting with  potential partners.
We sat at the restaurant, waiting for them. They were 20 minutes late, but neither of us minded that. We slowly sipped on our Martinis and talked about this meeting.
"Who are we meeting today?" I asked her so I could prepare papers and documents if they needed to be signed and flipped my iPad cover and placed in on a chair next to me.
"David Hood. He was a lawyer for Leech case few years ago. I don't know why is he late, he always comes on time." I nodded my head at her and we continued our conversation about TV shows as I finished preparing all the papers and placed them next to the iPad while we waited for Mr. Hood.
"I don't understand how can you not find him hot? I found him much hotter than her new boyfriend!" I shrugged my shoulders at her and thought of my response.
"I think Scott is special to her. They have three children together Krissy!" she nodded her head as a response, took a gulp of her drink and continued. "But Younes is young and she looks much better with him!" She always had a thing for a younger man, while I liked older.
Someone interrupted our small conversation with tap on her shoulders.
"Excuse me. I'm Calum, David is my father, but he was not able to come today."  We stood up and she introduced us to him.
He was dressed rather casual and he was in his late twenties. He had a tattoo on each of his hands and he doesn't look like a lawyer at all.
"I'm Kristen Miller and this is my secretary Adelaine Ray." I shook my hand with this man and sat back down.
"My father got really sick this morning, and asked me to come here." Kristen let out a small oh in response to him as a waiter came to get our food order.
They talked about some business things while we ate and I just kept quiet, not having too much to say.
"Miss, why are you so quiet?" he finally spoke to me. His accent was strong, and it gave away that he was not from here. "I just don't have much to say and I don't want to bother you with my comments." he quietly laughed at my response, and shook his head.
"I'm sure you have a lot to say." His long fingers played with a fork and strongly wrapped around the glass. Kristen noticed how nervous I was. "She is a little bit shy. But she is really good at her job, and has a position waiting for her. She just needs to finish school"
"Where do you go to college Adelaine?"
"I go to Columbia University, Sir." he laughed at my answer "Oh, don't call me Sir. I finished law school 2 years ago, I'm not that much older than you"
Calum made me really nervous. Almost to the point where I couldn't even talk straight. He was intimidating.
After our meal they decided what is the best and I took out the contracts and they both singed them.
"Can I be excused now that we are finished?" Kristen nodded and I grabbed my phone and my jacket and stepped out of the restaurant for a cigarette. They continued to talk about some legal stuff I yet had to learn about.
"Miss, what is wrong?" I flinched as I heard a familiar voice behind me "Everything is alright, I just needed a smoke after a long meeting."
He took out his own pack and placed one in between his lips and lighting it on fire. He closed his eyes and threw his head back, exhaling the smoke.
"This was my first meeting ever. My father usually does them, and today I had to come. I wasn't too pleased and I was nervous." All I could get back to him was quick "Oh, really?" as I finished my cigarette.
"Adelaine?" he said my name in a stern, deep voice and I immediately turned my whole body towards him.
"Do I intimidate you?”
"You do. Very much."

we’ve already established how logan doesn’t get much attention because he’s a middle child, so how about he gets suspended or something for fighting a kid who was picking on him and they all get into a blowout fight at home and logan says something like “you never cared before so i don’t see why it’s a big deal” or whatever you think is best and it kinda shocks cal into realizing like yeah i really haven’t been super present with him and then you can take it from there
Teenage angst is my absolute favorite thing. Especially when it comes to my little Logan. Enjoy!!
Calum had been working in the studio when his wife busted through the door, surprising the absolute shit out of him. Quickly, he took off his headphones and questioned her silently. “Logan got suspended.”
“I’m sorry?” Did he hear that correctly? It was only three weeks into the school year. It was the first year that Logan and Aiden were not in the same school. Aiden had graduated in May and was preparing to move up state for college. “He got, what?”
“Suspended, we have to go pick him up.” Calum was still in shock, she was moving, but he wasn’t, “Now, Calum.” She said sternly, bringing him out of his thoughts.
They didn’t talk their entire way to the school, or while they walked into the school, or while they were directed into the office where they found Logan sitting. Logan was sitting with his arms crossed against his chest, and he was looking away from his parents. The principle gestured for them to take a seat, and they obliged.
“Thank you for coming on such short notice, Logan is being suspended for a week due to fighting with another student, but do not fret, both students have been suspended.” The principle laced his fingers together over his desk and smiled a closed lipped smile.
That was absolutely the least of their concerns, fighting? Fighting about what? “I’m sorry, there was a fight? Like physical?” She asked while looking at Logan who continued to ignore both of his parents.
The principle nodded, “Yes ma’am, it seems Logan got into a little bit of a tussle with another student today at lunch causing quite a stir in the lunch room. No one was hurt, but it caused quite the disruption so I think it is best to suspend both of them so they can calm down for a bit.” That’s where the conversation died. It was a silent agreement to keep Logan at home until next week.
It was a silent drive home, it was almost eerie, that was until Calum decided to speak up when they got home. “Logan, what happened? Tell us your side of the story so we can understand.” That was the best thing he could’ve said. Could he have said it a bit softer, maybe, but he was confused and angry, so it came out harsher than intended.
Logan tossed his backpack onto the floor and shrugged, “Didn’t the principle already cover that?” His back continued to be towards his parents.
Calum looked at his wife for support, “Logan, we’re not mad, we’re just trying to figure out what’s going on, you’ve never acted like this, you’ve never gotten into trouble, so why now?” She took a step forward, reaching a hand out to her son.
Logan spinning like a flash of lightning caused her to recoil, “You guys never cared before this, why should this be any different?” Again, he turned, but in the other direction and ran up the stairs to his room. Both Calum and his wife flinched when the door slammed shut.
Hours passed, it had been almost silent in the house, aside from the occasional ‘what do you think happened?’ usually followed by a shrug from the other person. After another few moments of silence passed, they locked eyes and with a silent agreement, they made their way up the stairs towards to closed door.
Silently, they argued over who was going to knock, Calum ended up being the one to knock after his wife pushed him into the door. He grimaced at her as he knocked a few more times after his noisy first announcement. There was a quiet voice on the other side of the door inviting both of them into the room.
When they made it inside, Logan was slumped in his chair, a video game chaotically playing on the TV in front of him. Calum looked back at his wife and she nudged him forward and his cleared his throat before approaching his son. “Can you please tell us what happened today? Your mom and I are worried about you.”
Logan scoffed and without tearing his eyes off the TV in front of him answered, “Why would you be worried? You’re barely home, it’s been like that since I was a kid.”
It was at that moment that Calum and his wife looked at each other like they completely understood everything that was happening. Calum grabbed another chair and sat next to his son, “Aiden told us a few years ago that there were kids picking on you, were these same kids the ones that caused todays fight?” Logan aggressively pressed the buttons on his controller and Calum took that as a ‘yes.’ Calum sighed, he knew exactly what was happening. “Aiden wasn’t there to protect you, I’ve never been there to protect you, you think that no one cares about you.”
Logan’s face visually dropped for a split second before he intently went back to his video game. Calum stood up and grabbed his wife’s shoulders, “Go downstairs, I’ve got this.” His kissed her cheek and shooed her away before turning back to Logan. Logan’s eyes darted towards his dads before he pretended that all of his attention was on the video game. “Do you remember the weekend Aiden went on the trip with your mom for school? It was before Bailey was born, before we even knew Bailey was going to happen.”
Logan looked at Calum and pulled his eyebrows together, “Yeah, what about it?”
Honestly, Calum couldn’t believe he remembered, it was nearly a decade ago, but at the same time, if Logan was dealing with Calum being gone then, then he’s still dealing with it now. “You felt the same way back then as you do now, and you were 5.” Logan paused long enough for his character to die in the game. Calum smirked before taking a seat next to him again. “You asked me then why I couldn’t stay home, and I told you that to take care of you and mama and Aiden, I had to be gone for work, do you still understand that?” Logan’s swallowed and Calum continued, “I know that being the middle child isn’t easy, it makes you feel like no one cares about you because suddenly everyone’s attention is on the baby, or whatever else, but, Logan, we still love you.” Again, his character in the game died. “I’m sorry it’s been rough without Aiden, maybe your mom and I can get you transferred to a different school.”
“No,” Logan’s protest startled Calum, his head snapping towards his son, “I mean, it wouldn’t be the worst thing to happen. I am still getting picked on, I didn’t think you guys knew about it, you never made a big deal out of it.” Logan slunked back into his chair.
“Logan, we never made a big deal out of it because Aiden told us he had control over it. It’s our faults for assuming that this year would be different. What can we do to help?” Calum rung his hand together and looked at Logan who was already shaking his head.
It took a few seconds after he stopped shaking his head to form his thoughts, “These kids at my school make fun of me for having a dad who travels for a living, they tell me I basically don’t have a dad since you’re never here,” Calum’s heart sunk, “And I know that’s not true, because I know how you take the time to call me or FaceTime me, or take a red eye flight to be here for my band concert, or whatever, but all these…” he paused, “…Fucktards…” he looked at Calum apologetically, but Calum allowed it, “…see, is that you’re not always here.” Logan took a breath, “What happened today was one kid went as far to say that mom was cheating on you because who could be left alone that long, but I see what mom does without you, she cooks us dinner, she wakes us up in the morning, she makes us breakfast and lunch and then goes to work. She works her ass off, dad, and I just couldn’t listen to some kid who knows absolutely nothing about us talk that badly about my mom, and you too!” Logan was getting passionate at this point, sitting forward and dropping the controller to his gaming console on the ground, “I didn’t mean to hit him, it just happened!”
It was hard, but Calum controlled his laughter as he pulled Logan in for the tightest hug he could’ve given the kid. “You’re not in trouble, you did the right thing, you stood up for your mom and that’s all that matters.” Logan nodded into Calum’s shoulder, “Why don’t you go downstairs and give your mom a hug and tell her you love and appreciate her?” There was little to no hesitation before Logan stood up and made his way out of the room. Calum sat back and ran his hands through his hair, proud of his son, and the kid he was becoming.

mama hood being a chaperone for one of aidens school trips where they go away for a few days so calls at home with lil logan, maybe he’s toddler aged at this point, and they just have the time of their lives cause as we know, logan is obsessed with calum, and he’s just so happy to be with him cause cals been working so much and he’s not home too often
I went to "outdoor ED" when I was in middle school, and that's where I pictured mama had taken Aiden, that's not really established here, that was just the first thing that popped into my head 😂😂😂
WELCOME BACK HOOD FAMILY.
It had been about fifteen minutes since Logan had fallen asleep on Calum’s chest. Calum’s legs were crisscrossed allowing Logan’s body weight to rest on his right leg. It was when Calum felt that deep sigh that he knew Logan was out like a light. A smile stretched across his face as he reached his free hand up towards the little guys back and gently rubbed up and down before resting his cheek on the top of his head. Calum closed his eyes out of contentment for a split second before he felt his phone vibrating in his pocket.
Carefully, he moved his body so he could pull his phone out of his pocket without waking Logan. When he looked at the screen seeing his wife’s name and the request to FaceTime, he smiled, although slightly confused. He slid his finger across the screen to answer and held the phone up. “Why, hello, my love. I wasn’t sure you were going to have signal?”
“Ah, you see, there’s Wi-Fi here,” She took a sip of wine, “for the adults.” Her lips stretched into the most glorious smile as she laughed and then looked at something on the other side of her phone. “They also have alcohol and a specific lounge for chaperones.” When she shrugged and took another sip of wine, Calum laughed. “How’s everything at home? Good?”
Calum looked down at Logan who was still deeply asleep, then back at the phone. “Everything is great here.” Calum then moved the phone to show Logan’s sleeping form and he heard his wife on the other end of the phone coo. “Tuckered him out I guess.”
“Tell me what guys have been doing, and then I’ll tell you all about Aiden’s trip.” She said while raising her eyebrows. Calum smiled and looked down at little Logan before telling all of what they’ve done the past two days.
Aiden and his mom left before Logan woke up. Calum was sitting at the dining room table in front of his laptop with his headphone on, drinking a cup of coffee, when Logan slowly padded his way into the room. Calum was quick to remove his headphones and summon Logan over to him. Logan rubbed the sleep from his eyes as Calum lifted him onto his leg, “Daddy, where’s mama?”
“She left with brother, remember it’s just us this weekend.” Calum ran the back of his fingers down Logan’s soft cheek.
Hearing that, Logan perked up and his eyes twinkled. “Just you and me?” Calum nodded then rested his forehead on Logan’s. “Can we do something fun?” He had another twinkle in his eyes.
“What do you want to do, son? This weekend is all about you, and me.” Calum wiggled a finger on Logan’s side, causing the boy to giggle and squirm in his grip.
Logan finally caught his breath and looked into Calum’s eyes. “I wanna swim with Daddy.” It broke Calum’s heart. The reality is that every summer Calum is on tour, Logan has never had a chance to enjoy the pool with him, only with his mom and Aiden.
Calum let an empathetic smile stretch across his face, “Of course, let go put our swimmers on.” Together, they made their way up the stairs. Calum helped Logan change and then Logan followed Calum across the hall and sat on the edge of the bed while Calum changed. Once they were both in the correct swimming attire, they made their way to the backyard. Calum found Logan’s pool floatie and tossed it into the pool. Holding onto Logan, they both dipped into the pool. After Calum grabbed the floatie he placed Logan in it and started to drift through the pool with him. They splashed each other and played with some toys they had lying around until Logan was bored with swimming.
They both changed into dry clothes and Calum sat Logan at the table with a coloring book while he prepared lunch. Calum looked up from his preparations to look at Logan. He was humming to himself with a marker in his hand while he swung his legs back and forth, happily scribbling on the page. After lunch was ready, Calum sat next to his son and they ate together, something they didn’t do very often, and almost as suddenly Calum had that thought, so did Logan, “Daddy?” Calum hummed in response, “you work too much.” Calum froze, than after a second focused his attention on Logan. “You never spend time with me, because you’re working.”
Calum was pretty sure people could hear his heart shatter across the globe. “I know, baby, and I’m sorry. But I have to work to take care of you and brother and Mama.”
“But can’t you take care of us by staying home?” It was then that Logan looked up from what he was doing, into Calum’s eyes, effectively destroying what was left of Calum’s heart.
Calum wasn’t prepared for this. Aiden wasn’t bonded to him like Logan was. Aiden never asked these questions. Calum looked away from Logan and took a deep breath to try to gather his thoughts, “The only way I can stay home is if I work. If I don’t work, then we wouldn’t have all the things we have now.”
“But you’d always be home.” Logan cut him off.
His head dropped, why was he so bad at this? His wife would know just what to say if she was here. “I’m sorry I’m not home, Logan, but I’m home now, and it’s just you and me this weekend. We can do anything we want.”
Logan’s head popped up, “Anything?” Calum nodded with a smile.
A devious smile stretched across Logan’s face, and with that smile led to a day full of doing anything Logan wanted. Including going to the movies, playing on the playground in the park down the street, going to the mall, and getting ice cream. By the time they were on their way home, Calum couldn’t understand how Logan wasn’t exhausted, Calum was. Calum glanced in the rearview mirror, Logan was strapped into his car seat, the radio was playing, and Logan kicked his feet back and forth, singing along to the song that was on the radio. Calum smiled to himself before looking back to the road, as much as he hates to admit it, he wished he was home more too.
It was about nine in the evening when Calum was finally able to get Logan to go to sleep. Figuring that he hadn’t taken a nap he’d sleep all the way through the night. After closing the door, Calum headed to the studio to get to work on some songs Michael had sent him.
All four of the band members were on a zoom video working out some songs about an hour after Calum had put Logan to bed. They were trying their hardest to work through a song that no one could get onto the same page with. Calum was frustrated, and honestly reaching the point of pure exhaustion. With a frustrated sigh, he leaned back and took his headphones off, resting them around his neck. Almost at that exact moment, he heard a tiny cry from down the hall. “Fuck, hold on guys.” Calum said aloud as he removed the headphones completely before rushing to open the door.
When he opened the door, he found Logan standing in the middle of the hallway, hands pressed to his eyes, tears rolling down his cheeks. Calum rushed kneel in front of Logan, “What’s wrong, why aren’t you in bed, baby?” Calum was quick to wipe the tears off Logan’s face.
Logan took a few labored breaths before attempting to speak, “I th-thougt you were i-in your room, a-and you weren’t.”
Calum enveloped Logan into his arms and coaxed his head to his shoulder before walking Logan back to the studio. He sat back down in his chair, Logan still crying hysterically against his shoulder. “Give me a minute, guys.” Calum said before muting his microphone. Calum continued to comfort his crying son before Logan finally fell silent. “Want to stay with daddy while he works?” Logan nodded against his shoulder. With that, Calum put on his headphones and motioned towards the guys that he was back. “I have a guest joining me for the rest of the night.”
It was like Logan wasn’t even there, the only difference was Calum couldn’t get to his bass, but everyone worked around it. Eventually, Logan fell asleep, and eventually it was late enough that everyone called it a night. As Calum was walking down the hallway, he paused. Normally, it was at this time that he would put Logan in his own bed and go cuddle the woman who shares his bed, but she wasn’t here. They were both missing her, and he knew it. So, instead of dropping Logan in his own bed, Calum turned to his own room and took Logan with him. That night, they both slept in the ‘big bed’ as Logan called it when he got a chance to be in it.
When Calum woke up, he made sure to make Logan and him a big breakfast and do everything he wanted. Together, they played board games, watched Logan’s favorite TV shows and movies, made his favorite food, swam in the pool some more, took Duke for a walk around the neighborhood, made his favorite dinner, then finally settled on the couch to watch Logan’s favorite movie, Cars. “And that catches us up to this moment when you called me.” Calum says with a chuckle.
“Please tell me you’re still watching Cars.” She says as the wine glass touches her lips.
“The remote is too far away to change it.”
“Don’t lie, you like it too.”
“Shut up.” She laughed a hearty laugh and Calum chuckled along with her. “I miss you.”
“I miss you too, honey.” She said as she sat forward and looked at the phone with incredible seriousness.
Calum smiled and looked down at Logan and kissed the side of his head, “Tell me about Aiden’s trip, love.” With that, she smiled and wiggled to get comfortable and started explaining her last two days. Calum closed his eyes to listen to her talk, absolutely content with his life.

Could you write a one where you are a famous singer and there are rumours that you are expecting, so they confirm it whilst quarantine in an interview like gigi and Zayn?:) just some fluff💗 Thank you. X
I honestly have no idea how Gigi and Zayn confirmed it, so here’s my idea of how it would happen with Calum. 🙈🙈❤️❤️
It’s been three months since you found out you were pregnant, and one month since the whole state went on mandatory lock down. Before the lockdown, the rumors started. They started shortly after you released your album and took some time off. Which, if you did the math, was when it happened, but only you knew that. Which was why you weren’t exactly sure how they started, the only people you told were the people you trusted to keep it a secret. Maybe it was the outfits you were wearing, maybe it was the way you walked, maybe it was the way your hair was growing way faster than normal, it could have been something just conjured up in their head one day that spiraled out of control and was somehow true. Like that episode of The Office where Michael starts spreading rumors about Stanley cheating on his wife and Jim and Pam save Stanley by confirming that Pam was pregnant. “I have an interview in just a few minutes, do you need anything?” Calum’s voice shook you from your thoughts.
You blinked the thoughts away and looked up at the man you adored more than anything in this world. A smile spreading across your lips when you saw him wearing his “Shrute Farms” hat. A laugh escaped your lips as you shook your head, “No, baby, I’m okay.” Calum nodded and started to lean towards you, resting his fists on either side of your legs on the couch.
His breath was hot on your lips as he ghosted over them with a smile. “I love you,” he said before pecking your lips softly. He moved down so he was face level with your belly. He pressed a soft kiss to you belly and rubbed a soft circle around your belly button, “And I love you.” You ran the back of your fingers down his stubbled cheek before he stood up and pressed a kiss to your nose. “Let me know if you need anything, I’m just down the hall.” You nodded at Calum as he turned on his heels and headed to his studio.
Boredom eventually got the best of you and you pushed yourself off the couch and made your way into the kitchen. The song that has been stuck in your head for three days falling off your lips as you danced around while making tea for Calum and a sandwich for yourself. Once Calum’s tea was ready, you left your half eaten sandwich on the counter and slowly made your way down the hall, still singing softly to yourself.
You stopped at the door, your voice becoming quiet as you pressed your ear to the door. Calum’s voice was muffled, but his laugh was clear. His laugh always being one of your most favorite sounds. A smile involuntarily spread across your lips before you lightly knocked on the door. You entered without Calum responding, your knock being light enough that he probably didn’t even hear you. When Calum looked up at you, a smile appeared on his lips. Trying to stay professional, he pulled his lips into his mouth, directing his eyes back to the screen. You awkwardly held up your hand to apologize and then set the tea cup on the edge of the desk, before turning to make your way out of the room.
“Excuse me for just a moment,” Calum said before taking off his headphones and pushing the chair back. Calum placed his hand on the small of your back and you turned toward him, pulling your eyebrows together. “Thank you for the tea. Are you doing okay? Feeling alright?” He asked as his hand cupped your right cheek, his thumb gently rubbing up and down.
You nodded and smiled, ready to give him a kiss, but suddenly you heard your name through Calum’s headphone. Both you and Calum froze, no one had seen you in the months since you released your album, keeping the promo to a minimal since your bump was getting bigger. Calum met your eyes before he left you standing where you were and sitting back at the desk, pulling his headphones out of the jack. “Is she there, Calum? There’s so many rumors floating around that your two are expecting. Maybe you could give us some clarity on those rumors,” the interviewer wasn’t pushing, the words were obviously just for the views, but it still made your skin crawl in an unnatural way.
Calum looked at you, and you looked down at yourself. The outfit you were wearing easily hid you growing stomach, but also made you look like you were obviously hiding it. You slapped your forehead as Calum cleared his throat. “Yeah, she’s here. She brought me some tea, because she loves me.” He laughed, trying to skirt around the question.
With a sigh, you tucked your hair behind your ears and made your way behind Calum to wave at the camera. “You haven’t answered the question, Calum!” The interviewer said through a laugh, “We’re all truly on edge to find out if you are expecting together or not. The world must know.” The interviewer raised her eyebrows and placed her fingers under her chin.
As if you and Calum read each other’s mind, you both sighed. “Yes, it’s true.” You finally spit out. Calum smiled and looked down at his desk, staying quiet. You pressed your hand on his shoulder to move him out of the view. Once Calum was out of the way, you moved your hands around your belly so the oversized shirt you were wearing was pulled taught and everyone watching could see the little bump.
The interviewer screeched and the other guys in the interview dropping their heads and smiling, already being well aware of this information. “Oh my gosh, this is so exciting! You two are going to make the most precious little baby!” She continued to gush about you and Calum having a baby while you gave Calum a kiss and started to walk out of the room.
Calum pushed himself out of the chair without saying anything. His fingers wrapped around your wrist as he gently pulled you back to him. His hand landing softly on your bump and you placed your hand over his. He smiled at your and stared into your eyes, “I’m so happy that everyone knows. I can’t wait to scream about it from the rooftops.” He smiled again before pressing his lips against yours, leaving his hand on your belly. At that moment it didn’t feel like both of you had the entire world watching you, it was just you and him and the baby, and that’s all you ever could want.

baby logan needs more attention than he gets i feel like he’d be such a sweet snuggly kid, toddler logan would definitely never leave calums side cause aidens always with mama when he can be so logan just sticks by calums side whenever they’re out and it’s just cute cause he could be playing or doing whatever like other kids but he’s just hangin with cal, listening to whatever conversation calums having and just being happy that they can hangout. i can imagine logan calling cal his best friend🥺
Logan has always been a curious little guy, but his questions always lead to the CUTEST moments.😭😭😭😭😭
Calum parked the car in the Target parking lot, the car filled with his favorite people: Logan, Aiden, and his wife. They had to go to the store to buy snacks and a gift for the wedding shower that their friends were throwing later in the evening. The second Calum parked the car, Aiden jumped out of the car and grabbed his mom’s hand, excited to pull her towards the toy aisle. Calum smiled as he shut the driver’s door and opened the door behind his to unlatch Logan’s restraints on his car seat. Once Logan’s feet touched the ground, he immediately reached up asking for Calum’s hand. Without a second of hesitation, Calum reached down and grabbed Logan’s tiny hand.
Together Logan and Calum walked into the store. Once inside the doors, Logan put his hands on the first shopping cart he saw. “Can I sit in the front?” Logan asked while pointing to the baby seat.
“Of course, little man.” Calum pulled the shopping cart away from the others and bent at the knees to lift Logan into the seat. Logan helped Calum by placing his feet through the holes and then slid into the seat. Logan giggled as Calum poked his nose and pushed the cart forward beginning their shopping trip.
“Daddy, are you and mommy married?” Ever since Logan heard what a wedding shower was, he’s been very curious about the whole thing.
Calum smiled as he reached his arm out to a vegetable platter, “We are. We’ve been married for almost ten years now. That’s one year longer than Aiden’s age.”
Logan nodded. For being only three years old, he did comprehend certain things more than most three-year-olds. “Are Uncle Luke and Aunt Sierra married?”
“Yeah, they’re married too.” Calum smiled and dropped the platter into the big section of the shopping car. Logan turned to look at it while Calum explained, “They’ve been married for five years. That’s three more years than your age.”
Logan nodded again and looked up at Calum. Calum’s heart swelled with the way his eyes widened every time Logan looked at him. He knew he fell in love with Logan the day he was born, but with each day, Calum love’s him more and more. Calum reached up and ran his hand through Logan’s hair.
“Daddy, do you love me like you love mommy?” Logan asked as Calum moved the shopping cart through the produce section.
“I love you very much, buddy, but the love I have for mommy is a little different than the love I have for you.” Logan tilted his head slightly, urging Calum to explain what that meant. Calum took a deep breath trying to figure out the most appropriate way to explain the difference. “I love mommy in a way that makes my tummy feel weird, a good weird, I love you in a way that makes my heart feel warm.” Calum held his breath hoping that was good enough for Logan. Logan nodded and looked at his hands.
“Do you have a best friend? I’ve heard mommy use that phrase when talking about Auntie Alex.” Alex was his mom’s best friend. They had known each other for a long time, longer than Calum had known her.
Calum pulled his eyebrows together, realizing that his kid was just a sponge when it came to anything that was said around him. “I have three.” Logan’s eyes widened thinking that having more than one was impossible. Calum chuckled and looked around the aisle for what he was looking for. “Your Uncle Luke, Uncle Mike, and Uncle Ashton are all my best friends.”
Logan pulled his eyebrows together, “I thought they were your brothers?” Another thing he’d heard come out of Calum’s mouth multiple times.
“Sometimes friends can seem like siblings. You know how Aiden takes care of you?” Calum asked as he reached around Logan, dropping another item into the cart. Logan nodded, “Well, Uncle Luke, Uncle Mike, Uncle Ashton and I all take care of each other how Aiden takes care of you. They’re not my actual brothers, but I like to think of them as siblings. Does that make sense?” Logan has always been good at letting Calum know when he needed to explain something more. He’s been that way since he could talk; Logan nodded.
Logan smiled from ear to ear and leaned forward, “I have a best friend too!” He exclaimed.
“Oh yeah?” Calum said with a smile after stopping the cart and stretching to the top shelf to grab a jar.
Furiously, Logan nodded his head, “It’s you, daddy! You’re my best friend.” Logan smiled and swung his feet back and forth, his heels hitting the plastic shopping cart every few kicks.
Feeling as if his heart was about to explode, Calum placed his hand over his chest. Logan was dead serious, and Calum suddenly felt like crying. Instead, he gathered his composure and smiled back at his son. “You’re my best friend too, buddy.” Calum leaned forward and pressed his lips to Logan’s forehead. He giggled and Calum pushed the cart, the new mission being to find Aiden and his wife.
Later in the evening, they made it to the wedding shower. Seeing the other kids, Aiden took off and started playing. Logan held onto Calum’s hand tighter and ducked behind his legs. Sierra squatted and smiled at Logan, “Low-gy, why don’t you go play with the other kids?”
Sierra had called Logan Low-gy since they day he was born. No one exactly knew why, but no one exactly stopped her either. Logan shook his head and Calum bent down to be at eye level with Logan. Logan held a tight grip of Calum’s finger, but Calum didn’t fight it. “Why don’t you go play with the other kids? I promise you’ll have fun.”
“I want to stay with you.” Logan said while nervously putting his pointer finger in his mouth. Not wanting to force Logan to do anything he didn’t want to do, Calum nodded and placed his hands under Logan’s arms. Calum lifted Logan onto his hip and nodded at Sierra and his wife, who both shrugged and headed outside where all of the other adults were gathered.
Once outside, Calum found a seat and placed Logan on his lap. Logan leaned forward and pressed his head against Calum’s chest. Calum’s heart swelled as he kissed the top of Logan’s head and rubbed his hand up and down his back.
Throughout the night, Calum partook in all of the conversations, most of them being things that were way beyond Logan’s knowledge. Every once in a while, Calum would notice Logan looking up at him. To which Calum would smile at him and kiss his forehead. Logan would then lean his head back on Calum’s chest and snuggle closer to him.
After the party ended, Calum loaded Logan into his car seat, and his wife loaded Aiden who had crashed from the sugar almost an hour prior. Within minutes of being on the road, Logan was fast asleep in his car seat. “I noticed Logan’s been attached to you recently.” His wife said, reaching her hand for his.
Their fingers intwined as he looked in the mirror at his two kids sleeping in the backseat. “He told me I’m his best friend today.” Calum smiled as he lifted her fingers to his lips, kissing her knuckles gently.
“Oh my god, that’s the cutest thing I’ve ever heard.” She placed her hand over her chest and groaned, trying not to make a scene and wake the kids up. Calum couldn’t help but laugh at her struggling to keep it all together. “Do you think it’s because Aiden is always attached to me, so Logan is attached to you?”
In all honesty, Calum had never thought of it that way, but now that she mentioned it, there was a huge chance she was right. Calum shrugged, “Maybe, but I don’t mind, he’s my best friend, too.”
In her seat, she kicked her feet and rolled her lips into her mouth. She was struggling not to scream, and Calum knew it, she was a sucker for cute moments like this. Tears started to roll down her face and Calum laughed just as she started laughing. “I love this family so damn much.” She said while wiping the tears off her face. Calum looked in the mirror one more time, he couldn’t have said it any better.

Omg the soccer moms swooning over calum piece you wrote is so good so I was wanting to ask if you could write something where one day calum takes Aiden to practice and you can’t go so it’s just them two and some new mom actually goes up to him and has the NERVE to flirt with him ignoring the ring on his finger 😤
😤😤 no one flirts with Calum unless it’s mama, and he makes sure everyone knows that.
Calum pressed the back of his hand to his wife’s forehead, she was still burning hot. His eyes washed over with concern, wishing he could do something to help her feel better. “Are you sure you don’t want me to have one of the other parents pick Aiden up and take him to practice?” Calum asked her, “I can stay home and make you some soup and make sure you’re okay.” He smoothed down the fly away hairs near her temple that were a bit unruly from spending two days in bed.
She sniffled, the congestion obvious, “No, Aiden hates when you’re not there. Take him to practice, I’ll be fine.” She said as she ran her cold finger tips down his forearm. Calum reluctantly agreed and tucked her in before kissing her forehead and heading out to take Aiden to practice.
Calum hated taking Aiden to soccer without her, not just because of the group of single moms who lust over him every time, but also because it’s actually incredibly boring without her. He sighed to himself as he pulled his phone out of his pocket and started scrolling through it. As he mindlessly scrolled, he rested his head into the palm of his hand. It wasn’t long until he suddenly felt slightly uncomfortable, as if someone were staring at him. He looked up at Aiden who waved at him and Calum waved back. Thinking it was just Aiden, he brushed the feeling off and continued to scroll through his phone.
The feeling came back almost immediately. Frustrated, he dropped his phone to his lap and looked around. As soon as he looked to his right he caught a woman gazing at him. She was sitting with the group of women who usually stare at him, but he had never seen her before. Trying to be polite he smiled and nodded at her. It was only a matter of seconds before she pushed herself out of her chair and started to make her way over to him. “Aw, shit.” Calum mumbled to himself, lifting his left hand to spin the ring on his finger around.
She approached him, a snarky smile sitting on her lips, “Hi, I couldn’t help but notice you from over there. My name is Rachel, my son joined the team this past week.” Rachel pointed towards the field and Calum nodded.
Not wanting to be completely rude, Calum stood and offer his hand for a polite handshake. “I’m Calum, my son is the one with the curly hair, matches mine.” Calum pointed to the curly mop that was in desperate need to be cut. Rachel laughed and for some reason it made Calum feel uneasy, like she was forcing the laugh.
“He looks just like you, it would be silly to think any other kid on the team was yours.” She smiled and laced her fingers together in front of her. Her cheeks flushed a soft pink and she licked her lips. “Listen, if you’re not doing anything after practice ends, you should bring Aiden over to my house and we can have a drink or something.” She twisted her body back and forth, as if she were trying to persuade him into going with her.
Calum chuckled, thinking maybe she was blind, or joking, but when he realized she was completely serious, his smiled completely faded. “Oh, um, that’s a very nice gesture, but I’m married.” Calum lifted his left hand and pointed to the ring with his right hand.
Rachel chuckled sarcastically, “I saw your ring from over there, it’s quite flashy. I just figured that since she wasn’t here, we could enjoy a drink together.” Rachel looked at Calum as if he was being the ridiculous one.
“I’m sorry, are you suggesting I cheat on my wife?” Calum stood up straight and looked over at Aiden who was grabbing his duffle bag and starting to run towards him. “I’m good, I’m going to give that idea not only a hard no, but a fuck no. Instead, I’m going to go home, and make her some soup since she’s been sick in bed for two days.” Rachel looked at Calum dumb founded as he packed up his lawn chair and reached out for Aiden as he slowed his speed to a walk.
Calum directed Aiden to walk ahead of him, but Calum followed closely behind him. As Aiden walked, he lifted his head and looked at Calum, “Who was that lady?”
Calum raked his fingers through Aiden’s hair and smiled, “No one. She wasn’t just being rude and I was telling her that being rude isn’t right.” Aiden nodded, and popped open the car door and climbed in.
The bowl was extra hot as Calum carefully carried it down the hallway towards the bedroom. Calum used his foot to push the door open, finding his wife fast asleep. Her hair was tossed over her face, and her mouth hung open as she snored in her deep, medicated sleep. A smile stretched across Calum’s face as he carefully moved the hair out of her face. She stirred and smacked her lips together, trying to get the moisture back into her mouth. She opened one eye and paused for a second. “You’re home already?” She asked as she pushed herself up.
“Yeah, it wasn’t that long of a practice. I made you some soup, how are you feeling?” Calum grabbed the bowl and started blowing over the top of the soup.
She shrugged and reached forward to grab the bowl. “A little better, that medicine you found me this morning is certainly doing the trick. Thank you for the soup, how was practice?” She spun the spoon around the bowl, placing it in a spot that was easy for her to grab.
“Aiden did great. There’s a new soccer mom, though. She asked me to take Aiden over to her house so we could have a drink together.” With the spoon still in her mouth, she froze, her eyes staring daggers into Calum’s. It wasn’t that she was mad at Calum, she was mad that she couldn’t be there to start making out with him in front of her as he has done in front of the other single mom’s. “I told her ‘fuck no’ and came home and made you soup.”
Slowly, she pulled the spoon from her mouth and dipped it back into the bowl. She raised her eyebrows as she licked her lips, “You’ll have to show me this new mom the next time I go to practice so I can stick my tongue down your throat in front of her.” Calum laughed as she winked at him and laughed with him.

how would Ash or Cal be during labor?
Calum would absolutely be the biggest cheerleader. 🥰🥰
It was the middle of the night when a stabbing pain went shooting through your abdomen. The pian caused you to gasp and sit straight up, clutching your oversized baby bump. Your eyebrows furrowed as you tried to wrap your mind around what was happening. It took a minute, but you finally realized you were in labor. Calum barely noticed your movements, so you reached over and started to pat his chest at a rapid speed. Calum jumped and his hands immediately flew to his eyes, trying to figure out what was happening. “What’s going on?” He mumbled into his hands.
You pointed at your belly and tried to stabilize your breathing, taking all of the labor classes you had taken and acting on it. “Baby, coming.” You finally said through labored breaths.
Calum removed his hands from his eyes and looked at you. His eyebrows stitched together and he blinked a few more times, the sleep binding the gears in his mind. You raised your eyebrows and pointed at your belly again, more exaggerated this time. As if the gears started turning all of the sudden, Calum tossed the comforter off his body and started running around the bedroom in a panic. “Shit, the baby is coming.” He said as he ran his hand through his dark curls.
As Calum ran around the bedroom, grabbing the hospital bags, you focused on getting out of bed and putting on something other than the shirt you sleep in. Once Calum had the bags thrown over his shoulders, he put one hand on your lower back, and the other on your belly as you waddled out the front door and to the car.
The door clunked shut as you sat back, holding the sides of your belly and trying to breathe through the immensely painful contractions. Calum started the car and skidded out of the driveway, speeding his way down the roads towards the hospital. Another contraction washed over you and you reached over to grab Calum’s bicep. You screamed and dug your nails into his bicep, causing him to scream with you. After the contraction ended, you released Calum’s arm and he let out a breath with you. “We’re almost there, sunshine, hold on.”
The tires squealed as the car skidded to a halt at the front of the hospital. Calum tossed the keys at the valet before making his way over to your side of the car to help you out. A couple of workers sitting at the front desk came running out with a wheel chair. Calum helped you sit in it before turning to the valet and grabbing the ticket. You reached forward wanting to hold onto Calum’s hand, the tears starting to well in your eyes, the fear of actually giving birth suddenly settling in your stomach. “Oh, god, I’m so scared.” You said through tears and another wave of pain.
Calum grunted in pain as you squeezed the ever living hell out of his hand, but gritted his teeth to talk you down. “You’re going to do great, honey. I know you’re scared, I’m scared too, but I’m here and I’m not going to leave your side.” Calum nodded and kissed your fingers as you loosened your grip on his fingers. The tears didn’t stop, but you nodded and swallowed the lump in your throat. As long as he didn’t leave your side, the fear dissipated.
Immediately after getting into the room, nurses started to strip your clothes off and change you into a hospital gown. Calum let go of your hand as the nurses got him dressed in makeshift scrubs. His eyes didn’t leave you for a second, and your eyes stayed locked on his. As soon as he was appropriately dressed, he made his way to your side and grabbed your hand. He placed a kiss to your temple as his free hand started to smooth down your hair. “Did you call anyone and tell them?” You asked as a droplet of sweat rolled down your cheek.
A smile crawled across his lips and then he let out a soft chuckle. “I sent a message to Ashton, he’ll probably call everyone.” You nodded, knowing that he probably thought you were crazy for being more worried about everyone knowing than actually having the baby.
“Alright, it’s time to push.” The doctor said, peeking her head out from checking to see what was going on.
You nodded and started to take some deep breaths. Calum squeezed your hand and ran his fingers through your hair, “You got this, You can do it, I’m right here.” He cheered. His positive encouragement gave you the strength to start pushing. The hospital room filled with screams of pain from both you and him as you squeezed his hand as tightly as you could.
Hours of pushing and screaming had gone by, feeling like there was no end in sight. Sweat soaked your hair and your back, and you were almost too tired to continue pushing. The doctor said something, but the exhausted mumbled everything. “Come on, baby, only one more push. You got this.” You shook your head as Calum spoke into your ear. “Yes, you have to, you’re almost there.” You turned your head to look up at Calum and he pressed his lips to your forehead.
The look in Calum’s eyes was enough to give you the strength you needed to push one more time. With one more push, the pain suddenly diminished. “It’s a boy.” The doctor said holding up your freshly birthed baby. “Dad, would you like to cut the cord?” Calum looked at you to make sure you were okay, when you nodded, he left your side and went to stand next to the doctor.
You watched Calum as he smiled from ear to ear, tears lining his eyes. He cut the cord and waited as the doctors finished cleaning up your new born baby and wrapping him in a blanket. The doctor passed your new born to Calum who immediately turned around and walked next to you. The exhaustion faded enough for you to push yourself up to peak at the bundle in Calum’s arms. The tears started to fill your eyes the second you looked at him, and Calum started to pass him over to you. Once the baby was out of Calum’s arms, he wrapped his arms around you and pressed a soft kiss to the side of your head. “I love you so much, you’re amazing.” He said before exiting the room to update everyone in the waiting room. You watched as he walked out, appreciative that Calum always has been and always will be your biggest cheerleader.

Okay we got cute planned haircuts but what about momma is on a work tril so Aiden and Logan arw with Cal. Maybe they're doing some shenanigans while Cal is on a conference call and they both come in like "dad he got gum in my hair" so he has to buzzcut it bc there's no way to save thier curls. And Logan's like "mumma's gonna be sad 😞😞😞" so Cal shaves his head in solidarity
Oh my goodness, what a sad day it would be to lose the curls. The luscious, soft curls. Mama really would be sad to see them without curls. 😭😭 But, she still loves them 🥰
Six days, that’s how long it’s been since Calum dropped his wife off at the airport to head off on a week-long business trip. Six days had gone by without any incidences with the boys. Now that the boys were older, Calum felt confident that he could handle anything that came up. That was until he was in his studio, working on a song that he was trying to write and both boys came walking through the door.
Calum looked up at his two sons, his eyebrows pulling together. He wrapped his arms around the bass sitting on his lap and he ball the pick in his fist. Before he could ask his sons what was going on Aiden sighed and he pushed his little brother forward. “Logan got gum in my hair. When I try to get it out, it gets worse.” Aiden said sternly while Logan ducked his head.
When Calum looked from Logan to Aiden, he noticed the large amount of disheveled hair on the left side of Aiden’s head. Panic set into Calum’s chest for a moment before he remembered the peanut butter trick to get gum out of hair. Calum set his bass down and stood from his chair. “I think I know how to fix this. Follow me, boys.” Calum smiled at the boys whose expressions barely changed.
They followed him down the hallway and into the kitchen. Calum sorted through the cabinet and finally found the peanut butter. He slammed the jar onto the counter and started to open the cap. “What’s that for?” Aiden asked, his face twisting.
“I remember your mom telling me that there is an oil in peanut butter that breaks down the gum and it gets gum out of hair.” Calum unscrewed the top as Aiden’s eyes widened. Calum assessed the damage to Aiden’s hair and hoped this was going to work. With a deep breath, Calum dug his hand into the jar and started lathering Aiden’s head in peanut butter.
With Aiden’s head completely covered in peanut butter, Calum helped Aiden into the bathroom and started washing his hair. As the peanut butter continued to wash out, it became more and more obvious that there were still pieces of gum scattered through Aiden’s hair. “Did it work?” Aiden yelled over the running water.
Calum sighed and sat back onto his heels. “No, I guess we’re going to have to make an emergency run to the hair dresser.” Both Calum and Aiden sighed as Calum gently ran a towel over Aiden’s hair. With another sigh, Aiden tossed the towel to the ground then followed his dad out of the bathroom and out the front door to the car.
As the door of the hair salon opened, a bell dinged which grabbed the attention of the woman sitting in the seat in front of the mirror. She smiled from ear to ear and stood to make her way to the three boys. “How can I help you today?” As she smiled, she chewed on a piece of gum.
Calum rested his hands on Aiden’s shoulders and looked down at him, “It appears we have a gum in the hair mishap. I tried the peanut butter thing, but I think it made it worse.” Calum looked back up at the woman, sheepishly since he thought the peanut butter was a sure way to get the gum out.
The woman bent at the waist to be at eye level with Aiden. She chewed obnoxiously on her gum as she shifted her fingers through Aiden’s hair. She hummed and then stood up straight, “I do see that we have a bit of an issue here. Come sit in my chair and we’ll see what we can do.” She smiled and Aiden followed her while Calum reached down and grabbed Logan’s hand to keep tabs on him. Calum lifted Logan onto his hip as he stood off to the side as the woman lifted and assessed Logan’s hair. After a few minutes, she dropped her hands an shook her head. “If I cut it, it’ll be entirely uneven and look even worse than it does now. I suggest that we just cut it all off.”
Aiden’s eyes widened and looked at the woman through the mirror, “Like shave it all off?” He yelled in distress and the woman nodded. Aiden looked over at his dad and grabbed the hair that was not damaged by the gum. “Daddy, I can’t shave my hair.” Aiden’s eyes filled with tears.
Calum walked over to him and placed a hand on his shoulder, “What if we did it together? I’ll shave my hair with you.” Aiden looked at Calum for a minute before gulping and then nodding. Just as Aiden nodded, the woman switched on her clippers and started working on Aiden’s hair.
Once Aiden was done, Calum sat in the chair and watched as Aiden continuously ran his hands over his fresh buzzcut. The clippers sounded and he closed his eyes, allowing his hair to fall over his face. When the clippers shut off, he opened his eyes and reached his hand for his head and laughed, remembering the times he buzzcut his hair before he was married and had kids.
Calum graciously paid the woman and loaded his kids into the car where he sent a picture of the scene from The Office where Jim is sitting next to Dwight, holding a sign that says “6 Days Since Our Last Nonsense.” Almost immediately, she sent a text message back saying “Oh, shit, what happened?” Calum laughed and looked back at Aiden who was still running his hands over his fuzzy head. “Let’s take a picture to send to mom to show her our new haircut.”
Aiden stopped rubbing his fuzzy head and looked at Calum seriously, “Mama is going to be so sad. She loves our curls, she tells us all the time.” Aiden’s face dropped and the tears started to fill his eyes.
Calum’s chest tightened and he tried to rear back and make light of the situation. “She does love our curls, but I bet she is going to think we both look incredibly handsome and dashing, especially you.” Calum smiled and winked at Aiden who then smiled, finally agreeing to the picture. Calum snapped the picture and sent it to his wife saying “Peanut butter does not get gum that is ingrained in hair out, I tried. Aiden was unsure about the cut, so I cut mine to make him feel better. Can’t wait to see you tomorrow! Love you!”
His phone vibrated as he drove home, but didn’t read it until he was parked in the driveway. As the boys ran inside, he unlocked his phone and read the message, “Noooo! The curls! Well… I guess I still love all three of you, curls or no curls. I can’t wait to feel your soft, fuzzy hair. I love you too.” Calum laughed to himself and made his way inside, heart bursting with love for the woman on the other side of the phone.

Can I request something with dad cal where your baby boy is just super obsessed with you and always stares at you in awe and calum just loves that so much because someone else (his carbon copy son) is just as obsessed and in love with you as he is!!
YES!! I love this!! 🥺🥺 Here you are baby cakes!!
It’s only been a few months since your son was born. Every single moment with him has been absolutely spectacular. Even when you took him out with you, everyone loved him and he loved everyone back. The boys loved him, and loved spoiling him, toys showing up at your door every few hours because one of the boys saw it and knew he had to have it. You guessed that’s what happens when you’re the first couple to have a baby. You sat on the couch, your feet propped up on the coffee table, your son tucked into your lap a smile spread across his face. Every time you looked at him, all you could see was Calum. Not that you minded, because who wouldn’t want a carbon copy of Calum as their son? Sometimes you just wish he had gotten something from you.
You made a face at your son causing him to giggle as Calum walked into the room. He plopped himself next to your and held up another box. “Luke sent us another amazon package.” He shook it a little causing whatever was in the box to rattle around.
You laughed and took the box from Calum’s hand. “Tell him to stop getting drunk and getting on amazon. We have enough stuff.” You started to pry the box open while your son continued to stare at you, so you made a face at him.
Calum poked the little guys tummy causing him to giggle and look at Calum. Calum shook his head and laughed.
“Oh, Calum look how cute these are!” You said, your sons eyes going back to you. You pulled out a package of dinosaur onesies and a few teethers and held them up for Calum to look at. “Luke loves buying him dinosaur stuff, doesn’t he?”
Calum laughed and took the set of onesies from you and placed them on his chest. “Yeah he does.” You handed him the teethers and Calum placed them next to you as you tossed the empty box off to the side to pick up later.
You looked back at your son who’s eyes were sparkling in the light of the living room. You smiled at him and he giggled, something that made your heart so full. “I love that he looks so much like you, but I wish he had something from me. I’d settle for him having my teeth at this point.” You joked not taking your eyes off the little bundle of joy in your lap.
Calum reached his hand out and stuck his finger in his son’s fist. Although his eyes never wandered from you, he squeezed Calum’s finger, causing him to smile softly and rub the soft skin on the back of his hand with his thumb. “Maybe as he gets older he’ll start looking more like you. He doesn’t have enough hair yet to know if he has my hair or your hair.”
You shrugged and ran your hand over the baby hair on the top of your son’s hair. “That’s true. Knowing my luck, though, he’ll have the same thick, curly brown hair you have.” Calum laughed with you and closed his eyes, resting against you.
**
Calum played with your son as you prepared dinner, even though he had offered to cook since you had barely slept the night before. Every time you glanced over at your boys, one or both of them was staring at you. You would wave and continue what you were doing. As soon as dinner was ready, you called them to the table, Calum placed your son in his high chair and took a seat across from you.
While you and Calum ate, you watched your son. He kicked his feet every once in a while and giggled as you made a silly face at him. Calum watched you two as he slowly ate from his plate. When you felt his eyes burning a whole into your head, you finally looked over at him. “Why are you staring at me?” You asked through a smile.
He shook his head and looking down at his plate. “No reason, I’ll do the dishes for you tonight, since you cooked dinner.” He stated as he put another bite into his mouth.
“Thanks, baby. I appreciate that.” You said as you reached across the table and grabbed his hand which was resting next to his plate. HIs fingers laced with yours and he squeezed before pulling your fingers up to his lips and kissing each individual finger on your hand.
Once you finished eating, Calum took everything into the kitchen while you took your son to the couch and proceeded to feed him. Being at home and alone with Calum was nice because it meant that you didn’t need to put a cover on, which meant it was easier for your son to latch. Once he latched, you reached for the remote and switched on the TV. Leaning your head back and sighing as the exhaustion started to wash over your body. You looked down at your son who’s eyes were locked on you and you smiled while running a finger down his soft cheek. He blinked and his eyes finally fell shut.
“He loves you so much.” Calum said, pushing himself off the door frame and making his way over to you. He set his knees on the couch and ran a hand down his sons head. Calum looked at you, tears sitting on the rim of his eyes. “All day today he’s just been staring at you. I love watching him stare at you, because this perfect little boy that we made is just as obsessed with you as I am.” Calum leaned forward and pressed a loving kiss to your lips. A kiss that made your head spin, a kiss that proved how much you love him and he loved you.
You smiled against his lips as you reached a hand up to caress his cheek. As he pulled his lips off your you couldn’t help but laugh, “So, you’re telling me he even got you personality? Man, I really lost out on this one.” Calum laughed with you, pressing his lips to your again.

does calum get annoyed when he’s trying to love on his baby mamma but one of the kids needs attention and all he wants is his hands on her ,,
Short answer: Yes. Long answer: Yes, but he would never say it out loud. 👀
Calum was happy to be home, touring was driving him mad. All he can think about day in and day out is being at home with his family. He had gotten home early in the day, and throughout the entire day, he kept trying to get the love of his life to join him in bed, but every time she would start to agree, one of the kids grabbed her attention. Before Calum could blink, it was late and he was lying in bed by himself. He was frustrated and absolutely just wanted her body pressed against his, but the sleep deprivation took over and he was asleep before he could even act on his frustration.
The frustration became even more intense when he woke up and the side of the bed next to him was empty. His stomach bubbled and he fought with himself to get the unwelcome morning wood to go away. Once his mind and body calmed down, he threw the blankets off him and made his way through the house to find the woman he’s dying for.
As he turned the corner into the living, he stopped dead in his tracks and sighed. She was dead sleep with the three-year-old dead asleep as well on her chest. Gently, he picked Logan off her chest and carried him back down the hallway to his room, placing him ever so gently in his bed. Keeping a watchful eye on Logan, Calum slowly backed out of the room and shut the door as quietly as possible.
Calum nearly ran down the hallway as he made his way back into the living room. He kneeled beside her and gently stroked her cheek in an effort to wake her up. She started to stir and he smiled, thinking they were finally going to have time to be alone. “Good morning, sunshine.” Calum mumbled in her ear as his lips grazed over the skin of her neck.
She groaned and barely opened her eyes as her hand found his shoulder, and his hands wandered over her stomach. “Mom!” Aiden yelled from down the hallway, Calum sighed and dropped his head and his hands, “Have you seen my bowtie?” Aiden continued to yell, walking down the hallway towards the living room.
Just as Aiden stepped into the living room, she sat up and ran her hands through her hair. “It’s in the top drawer of your dresser on the left side, make sure you move things when you’re looking for stuff.” She said and Aiden slumped back down the hallway.
Calum pushed himself off the ground and sat himself in the spot on the couch next to her. She ran her hands down her face and Calum clasped his hands together, “What in the world does that kid need a bowtie for? He’s nine years old.”
She dropped her hands into her lap and laughed, “He wants to look his best when he hangs out with his friends. Takes after you in that way.” Another chuckle fell from her lips as she stood up and started moving across the room.
Calum couldn’t help biting his lip as he watched her movements. And he certainly couldn’t help pushing himself off the couch and making his way towards her and wrapping his arms around her torso. His lips connected to her neck again before he mumbled, “I missed you so much,” into her skin.
She spun around in his arms, allowing his hands to drop lower and squeeze her cheeks ever so slightly, “I missed you too,” she pecked his lips, “But I promised Aiden I would drive him to his friend’s house. Maybe we can,” She walked her fingers up Calum’s chest and to his lips, “have some alone time after I get back.” Calum liked the idea of that, so he nodded quickly and pressed his lips to hers. However, in a flash, she wiggled her way out of his arms and down the hallway to get herself ready to drive Aiden.
Time moved incredibly slow while Calum waited for her return. Logan continued to sleep while she was gone and Calum prayed to whoever was listening to him that he would stay asleep a little while longer after she got back. Calum was sure he was about to lose his mind, but just as he thought that, he heard the front door open. Not wasting a single second, he ran to the front door, scooped her off her feet, shut the door and ran them to the bedroom.
Her laugh was music to his ears as he dropped her on the bed and connecting his lips to her neck and his hands to her hips. Her laughs soon turned to sighs the higher his hands travelled on her body. She leaned back and he followed her motions, placing his hands on either side of her, hovering above her and continuing to leave love bites on her neck. As soon as he had his balance, he dipped his hand under her shirt and trailed his fingers over her bare skin. She gasped at the feeling and giggled before saying, “Your fingers are cold.”
Calum lifted his head from her neck, a smirk plastered on his lips, “I know what I could do to get them warm.” Her breath hitched and she gulped, her eyes telling him to go for it, but before Calum could dip his fingers where he wanted, their bedroom door squeaked open. Calum frantically looked up to see Logan standing in the doorway rubbing the sleep from his eyes. With a sigh, he removed his hands and rolled onto his back, causing the mattress to bounce a little.
“Momma, I had a bad dream.” Logan said while pouting and reaching his hand out for his mom. Calum sighed out of pure sexual frustration as the woman next to him pushed herself off the bed and scooped up the little one in the doorway. Calum laid there for a moment with his forearm resting on his forehead, not being able to wait much longer, he pushed himself off the bed and poked his head out the bedroom door. He could hear her talking to Logan in the bedroom across the hall, Calum ran his hand through his hair and made his way back to the bed. It had been so long without her touch that he’d be dammed if he had to get his release himself.
Calum heard footsteps quickly approaching the bedroom, and his eyebrows stitched together. In a flash, she showed up and spun around to shut the door. He stared at her as she locked the door and spun around, her eyes telling him she was ready to pounce. It made his heart race and his hard on to return. “I bought us at least an hour,” she said taking a deep breath. She seductively made her way towards him and ran her fingertips across the back of his neck, causing him to dip his head back in pleasure, “Now, where was it you wanted to put your fingers?” Hearing those words, Calum’s eyes shot open as he spun her around, pushing her back on the bed not wanting to waste a single second of the hour they had alone.

we focus a lot on mama reader but i was wondering if we could focus on dad cal for a little, maybe he’s been seeing a bunch of hate towards the band lately and he’s sad and aiden and logan try to cheer him up with mama cause they love him so much and he’s a superhero to them🥺
Yaaassss, little babies telling their daddy that he’s their superhero. 😭😭😭😭
It wasn’t often that Calum got like this, but when he did, the energy in the house was weird. Multiple days in a row now has he woken up, gone into his studio and locked the door without a single word being said. Then energy in the house was dark, and Aiden and Logan could feel it too. “What’s wrong with dad?” Aiden asked while slowly picking at the pancakes you had prepared for him.
A sigh fell from your chest as you shrugged and plopped some pancakes on Logan’s plate. “I’m not sure, he hasn’t really talked to me, and the door’s locked. I’ll try to talk to him today.” You reassured Aiden with a smile, a fake smile, but a smile. Aiden just nodded, leaving the conversation to end there.
After the kids were done with breakfast and had dispersed back into their rooms to find something to occupy their day, you stood at the end of the hallway and stared at the studio door. Thoughts raced through your head about what he could possibly be doing in there. The only time he ever came out was to use the bathroom and to go to sleep. Silently, you walked toward the door. Once you were at the door you pressed your ear against it and listened to any noise on the other side. It was silent and your heart strings tugged a little more.
You hesitated while you gripped the handle and turned it to see if it was unlocked. To your surprise, it was. So, you twisted it the rest of the way and slowly pushed open the door. When the door opened fully, you found Calum sitting at his computer, headphones on, his hair pushed up and out of his face. His eyes were focused hard on the screen, but the circle under his eyes told you that he barely slept last night. Calum barely noticed your presence until you shut the door. It wasn’t until then that he turned toward you and slowly took his headphones off. “Hey, baby.” You cooed as you walked over to him, running a hand along his shoulder blades as you sat in his lap.
His hands lazily wrapped around your thighs, but his face nuzzled into the crook of your neck. He didn’t say anything for a while, just sat there breathing into your skin. You ran your fingers through his hair, making sure to drag your fingernails over his scalp. He hummed at the felling and you pressed a kiss to the top of his head. As much as you wanted to ask him what was bothering him so much, you also knew that he would tell you if he wanted you to know. “I just keep seeing a lot of negativity towards the band lately. I’m sorry, baby, I don’t mean to take it out on you.” He mumbled into your skin.
You nod against him, understanding and accepting his apology. “It’s okay, what can I do to make you feel better?” You ask into his hair, still stroking his scalp. He shrugs and pulls you closer, letting your skin press against his. He sits there silently for a while, before you hear Logan and Aiden fighting. Calum let’s go of you and stays seated while you walk out of the room, closing the door behind you.
After you break up the fight, thoughts surround your head on how to make Calum feel better. The thoughts suddenly halt when you hear a little voice from behind you, “Mama?” You spin around to be greeted by Logan standing a few feet behind you, sadness in his eyes, “Is daddy okay? He hasn’t played with me in a few days.” Logan nervously plays with his fingers and shifts his feet.
Your heart melts as you make your way towards Logan and pick him up, setting him on your hip. Logan dips his head and lays it on your shoulder. “He’ll be okay, I’m sorry he hasn’t played with you in a few days,” you coo as your rake your fingers through Logan’s hair. Suddenly, a thought pops into your head. The one thing that always gets Calum feeling better are his kids, “What do you say we put a little something together that would make daddy feel better?” Logan lifts his head from your shoulder and nods furiously. You smile at Logan and head into Aiden’s room to start brain storming.
A trip to Target and a lot of giggles and staging later, you, Logan and Aiden stand outside the studio door, ready to give Calum his surprise. You put your finger over your lips to tell the boys to quiet down before opening the door. Once you open the door, you find Calum in the same position as earlier. His headphones over his ears, hair pushed up and out of his face, eyes transfixed on the computer in front of him. He catches sight of you from the corner of his eye and slowly takes his headphones off. “The boys and I got you’re a surprise, but you have to come with me to see the surprise.”
Logan pushed his way past you and runs up to Calum, placing his hands on Calum’s leg while bouncing excitedly, “Come on, daddy! We got you a surprise!” Calum smiles down at his son and runs his fingers through his hair. With a nod, Calum stands and takes Logan’s hand and Logan pulls him down the hallway. Behind them, you hold onto Aiden’s hand and squeeze while Aiden looks up at you with a reassuring smile.
Logan leads Calum into the living room where he is met with a basket full of snacks and a super man t-shirt. Logan climbs onto the barstool and Aiden stands in front of you. You watch as Calum’s eyebrows stitch together in confusion as he holds up the t-shirt. “Mama said you’ve been down lately because people have been saying not-so-nice things about you and your music. So we got you a superman shirt so your know that you’re our superhero, and we love you no matter what.” Aiden says as you run your fingers through his thick curls.
Calum’s lip form into a smile as the tears build on the rim of his eyes. He chuckles and holds the t-shirt to his chest, “Thank you, baby,” Calum pulls Aiden into him, wrapping his arm around his shoulders, still clutching the t-shirt to his chest. Aiden locks himself around Calum’s legs as Calum motions for Logan. Instead of letting Logan jump off by himself, you pick him up and pass him over to Calum. Calum kisses Logan’s cheek and hugs him close before setting him on the floor and neatly placing the t-shirt back into the basket.
Logan and Aiden begin to pull Calum back into the living room where there are more surprises waiting for him. Somehow you manage to grab Calum for half a second and pull him towards you. You kiss his cheek and whisper, “I have my own surprise for you later,” before he is pulled away from you by the kids. A smirk sits on Calum’s lips as he is dragged away from you by Aiden and Logan, the look on his face telling you that he couldn’t understand how he was lucky enough to get a family like this.
