(Lost boys x gender neutral reader headcanons)

Authors note: heeeyy chickens, long time no see♡I transferred to university and I have little to no time to write stuff like this anymore. Buut since it’s October, I gotta do my fav boys

David

-David doesn’t really hold you per say. You more or less cling and hold on to him.

-He doesn’t like seeming too vulnerable or soft when in public. Especially while on the boardwalk and the surf nazis are out and about

-However, if you’re standing next to him, he will casually put his hand on the back of yours. Theres something about his palm resting on your hand that just makes him feel content

-When you two are in the cave and hes sitting in his chair or on the couch, he always beckons you to sit on his lap. While you’re on his lap, he’ll snake his arm around your back and rest his hand on your thigh or butt.

-While he says its to “keep hold of what's his” it’s also so your back isnt digging into the metal of his wheelchair.

-It’s old and rusty and he doesnt really want you to be squirming cause it’s hurting your skin

-Some nights when the two of you are alone or you had a bad day, he lets you lay on his chest while he lays down on the couch.

-Your hands fall to his chest and his arms will wrap around you to keep you pressed comfortably against him.

-Even though his heart no longer beats, you swear you sometimes hear faint thumps when you mumble how much you love him into his chest

-Overall 6/10 cause he only holds you back every few weeks.

Dwayne

-Dwayne isn’t afraid to wrap an arm around your waist or hips while in public. It’s his way of showing people that you’re his partner and to keep you close to him

-He’ll sometimes put his fingers through your belt loops

-When meeting up in public, he’ll loosely wrap his arms around your hips while giving you a kiss. When meeting you in private, like at your house, he will actually give you a decent hug

-I like to think that Dwayne will link pinkies with you while walking around the boardwalk sometimes. He thinks it’s really sweet.

-When you two are in the cave, he’ll come up behind you and snake his arms around you and rest his head on your shoulder. His stubble tends to tickle your neck a bit

-he might take in a big inhale of your scent

-When you two cuddle, hes pulling you so close to him that you’re practically smothering him

-He loves it

-His hands will move all over the place. Your back, hips, thighs, butt, maybe one in your hair

-If you fall asleep, hes on cloud 9. He’ll most likely move you both into a small nest spot in the cave and either fall asleep with you or stay awake to watch you sleep. If you guys are at your place, he watches over you while you sleep.

-10/10 cause his cuddles are top notch

Paul

-Paul can’t keep his hands to himself so hes holding you all the damn time.

-Had a bad day? Let him hold you, he wants to make you feel better

-Theres a puddle on the ground? He’ll carry you over it

-Yikes babe, your shoe is untied, guess he’s gotta hold you so you don’t trip

-Yeah, hes very touchy

-Out on the boardwalk he loves to hold your hands. Like, he hates having to let go of your hand if you have to do something.

-Heaven forbid you want to eat or need to sneeze

-On the occasions where he takes you flying with him, he keeps you so close to him. He would never drop you but theres been a few times where you slipped from his grasp and it spooked you. So, he’ll have an iron grip on you while flying over the ocean or Santa Carla

-If you’re ever with him when he’s having a smoke sesh, he goes to maximum handsyness. God help you if you need to pee

-Like Dwayne, his hands are going everywhere, but hes gripping you as if you’re going to float away.

-He loves keeping you close because you’re so warm against his cold body. His cold hands will slip under your shirt and move around. He’s not trying to tickle you, he just loves how warm your back is.

-9.5/10 because his hands are cold as hell

Marko

-Marko’s not as handsy as the others

-Once in a blue moon, Marko lets you wrap your arms around him and he will envelop you in his jacket. It’s warm and it’s a really rare soft moment with him. It only happens when you forget a jacket and you’re both on the boardwalk and it’s freezing. Surprisingly, hes warm because of how thick his jacket is

-However, he mostly keeps a hand in your back pocket or he’ll pinch your butt. If hes showing you something, he takes your hand to lead you.

-Thats about as far as it goes in public.

-However, in private, it is a totally different scene

-He likes to hold you from behind. He sneaks up and wraps his arms around you while shoving his face into your hair

-He’ll only do this when no one is around. He does not want the others to see him like this.

-He does like to cuddle with you. He’s the big spoon and youre always the little spoon

-The feeling of your body expanding while breathing tends to calm him down since he easily gets wound up.

-While spooning you, he’ll lean forward just a bit to kiss you on the cheek. He will also sometimes entwine your hands and kiss the back of your hand.

-He warms up underneath the covers with you.

-Moments like that remind him that it’s okay to be relaxed with others

-I give him a 7/10

okay but can we please talk about the absolute GENIUS concept of ofmd???! it has so many contradictions in it's concept and that's something I've NEVER seen a show do before like- it's a show about pirates it has all the violence, the trauma, addiction, suicide, murder, every character is utterly fucked up and it could be this really dark, violent, action show and then they took all that and crammed it into the fucking genre ROMCOM and then they made it vaguely inspired by historical events, setting it sometime in the 1700s only to make it as wildly historically inaccurate as humanly possible with the costumes, THE LANGUAGE (the use of todays language and slang+ swearing in this is my fav parr about it and just makes it so much better to watch) and the characters ideals and views on life, then the characters being set up to be the stereotype of one thing and then being the complete opposite (especially in terms of gender roles and masculinity) like izzy being set up to be this competent first mate and best pirate in the show only for everything he does to backfire on him and in the second season being an actually really emotionally complex character, stede who could've easily made into this emotional crybaby character, getting swept off his feet by ed and not get around in the pirate world yet he's the most feral bastard known to man, who sets people on fire, not even gonna start on ed because there's just SO much about this character that could fit into an entirely new post.

It also ignores every rule of any genre or time or concept it could technically fit into and therefore is something entirely new and completely unpredictable. That's probably the funniest part about the show because every event that happens is something so entirely random and outlandish that nobody would've expected it so it hits us like a bat in the face (for example buttons just randomly turning into a bird after the show never showed any hint that magic is real in this universe and all of us just collectively went "oh yea that might as well happen, understandable have a nice day" because this show breaks every rule we thought existed)

Literally everything about this show is a work of pure genius and David Jenkins deserves literally every award known to man

THEYRE MY SPECIALTY' and then he falls so in love with her and proceeds to tell everyone hes marrying her before even proposing to her. i love them.

TMI: Alec and Magnus. okay so this is for both obvious reasons (fan favourite) and some other personal ones. Living where i do, i had no idea you could like the same gender as yourself or ltr anything about the LGBTQ+ community at all. These two were the first gay ship i had EVER read and they are what lead me to be as confident in my sexuality as i am right now. they introduced me to the concept of thinking beyond what i was told or shown by the people that surround me and look into the world the right way, without projecting judgement. i love them for that. theyre my comfort characters and the one of the biggest reasons i am who i am right now. also magnus is pr much why i adore glitter and i manage to put it on my face every other day ahaha

TDA: Diana n Gwynn. a very, very close second is Mark n Cristina n Keiran. but about Diana and Gwynn, they literally have my entire soul im not even kidding you. Gwyn is the first person Diana opens up to about her transition and its honestly so heartwarming that Gwyn, the leader of the Wild Hunt, known to be vicious and feared by faerie, is literally just there for her to lean on. He supports her and is so, so calm and soft with her it genuinely melts me. like, this man is basically the reaper of souls and he rides a magnificent steed into the night but hes so gentle with Diana. obviously my obsession w them is reinforced by the fact that the FIRST time Gwynn sees Diana he goes 'O' and is all like 'HELLO my fair lady beautiful one gorgeous strong lovely lady' and gives her an acorn like 'call me ;)' and diana my love just, THROWS the acorn to julian and emma and goes 'do w that whatever u will' and acts like she doesnt care and when they call on gwyn he comes to help nd immediately goes '...THAT WASNT FOR YOU but ig i'll help bc ur the magnificent lady's brats :/'

Look at all the awful things he and Louis have done, the awful things Lestat has done, then look at all the awful things Marius and David have done. Now look at how fandom treats them. The ones who are easier to write as placeholders for women and feminize get a free pass and trussed up as the ever lasting uke kawaii desu des victims while the men are evil.

Edit - also to be clear again I'm not against women in MLM fandoms. I'm not against women writing gay erotica or gay romance. But as a gay man sometimes I'm just like.....men can be men you know that right? Queer men act like and are attracted to men. Hala, my love, me beloved, one of the best enablers I have. FUCK YEA IMMA WRITE SOME DESI DARLIN' AND ARAB ANGELLL!!!! For since both 'desi' and 'arab' are super broad terms, I'm going to specify it so its Pakistani!Darlin' and Lebanese!Angel. (Jeez I wonder why those two nationalities. >.>)

CW: while Angel is gender neutral, they are described as wearing a hijab

"and where you go (you'll always find a piece of home)."

Angel looked at the itinerary on David's clipboard. Most of it was the usual. Checking up on how the pack is doing, informing them what jobs Shaw Security received and reminding them that covert was still prevalent and had to be maintained. (Asher, can you please stop shifting in front on the Pizza Guy before the Department gets on our ass?)

But at the bottom of the page, they found a special note. A line that he had boldened and underlined, something he only does in special occasions. (Him announcing Angel as his mate was one of those said occasions.)

'Tank's coming back today, and I swear if someone gives them shit, they will be dealt with.'

Oh? Well this meeting just got a whole lot interesting.

Angel hadn't met the famous 'Tank', only knowing of them from the stories the other wolves told them, mainly from Amanda and Milo. From what they gathered, Tank was a loner, a scarred, no-nonsense person who will fight when provoked.

They had asked Milo if Tank and David were the exactly the same. Milo shook his head.

"No, they ain't similar in the slightest. Like, they're similar, but Tank's always been... kinder? I know it sounds like they're mean, but they've always had a soft edge to them, don't let that dead face say otherwise."

Every new piece of information made Angel desperate to meet them, to figure out what kind of person they are. And now they'll get the chance to.

"Here Angel, some of your hair is showing," he says as he tucked their hair back under their scarf. The fact that David would do little things to make them comfortable made their heart swoon. It also meant that people were going to enter soon. That Tank was coming too.

For someone who's hyper early to everything, Darlin' sure as hell took their sweet time getting to the meeting.

Thankfully, they timed their arrival perfectly. They weren't too late, nor were they early enough for someone to berate them before the meeting starts. For the record, they were only here because David would absolutely drag their ass to this meeting. (And Sam would be disappointed in them.)

The meeting went on as it always does. Most of it went over their head, though they couldn't hide their smile when David had brought up Asher's Pizza Guy shenanigans. 'Still the same idiot as ever.'

Less important details were shared, causing Darlin' to zone out a bit. They didn't need to retain irrelevant information, and they were here for already an hour. Darlin' deserves to let their mind wander to a certain vampire they've been spending time with.

And by the time they zoned back in, the meeting was over and people were leaving. They took a deep breath. 'It's ok, it's only David, you have dealt with worse.'

"Tank, get over here!"

"Ya Hmar, David! You could have called them over nicely!"

Before they registered that maybe they shouldn't be laughing at their Alpha, Darlin' doubled over laughing. The simple insult had brought back years of old memories, leaving them damn near dying on the ground.

Through teary eyes, they saw David's unimpressed face and his mate's amused expression. Darlin' remembered where they were and who was in front of them, straightening up and wiping the tears off their face. They cleared their throat, apologizing for their outburst.

Before David could start berating Darlin', Angel hesitantly asked them, "so, um, weird question, and super intrusive, so if you don't want to answer I get it..." Angel trailed off, only continuing when Darlin' nodded their head. "Are you maybe Arab? Like I don't see someone laugh like that unless they know what hmar means, but I didn't want to assume-"

Darlin's smile cut the rambling human off. "I'm not Arab, but I'm Pakistani, so I pick up on a lot of arab words." They snickered, "and I got called a hmar a lotttt back home."

"You had Arab friends?" They said it with such shocked, Darlin' thought it was the first time they'd heard a phrase like that.

"Yea, they were Lebanese and-"

"THEY WERE LEBANESE??" Angel pounced on that piece information, asking more questions that Darlin' was willing to answer.

(David, realizing that neither Angel and Darlin' remembering that he is in the room left with a smile. If there was anyone who would bring Tank back it be them.)

An hour go by, and Darlin's cheeks were hurting. When was the last time they laughed this hard? Talked for this long? Reminisced about the days before Dahlia?

Angel fidgeted with their hands. "I'm sorry for keeping you in for this long. It's just- I love the pack, but I can never talk like this," they gestured to the space between them and Darlin', "with them. They just wouldn't... get it."

Darlin' tipped their head back with a smile. "I get it. And if you ever need to talk like this again, hit me up and I'll be there." They held their hand out.

Angel took their hand and shook it. "Being goofy like this, brings me back, ya know? It almost feels like-"

"Like home?"

"Yea, like home."
