there are many awesome resources out there (esp on insta if you use it) about te reo māori and pronunciation, but a couple i wanted to share are:

te aka | māori dictionary - has recordings of most words/some names so v good for making sure you're respecting those names/words

taringa podcast from te wananga o aotearoa - great podcast (start at the start!) from twoa (a māori uni/polytech) that is great for learning what te reo māori sounds like in action and also talks about the language as well

#i am actually studying te reo thru twoa this year!! it's on zoom for the first half of the year which SUCKS #but it's still excellent #and i'm studying with some teamies #and we get to practice in person at derbs which helps #bing bong #te reo māori
