In a non-despair au(no kg) how do you think beni and kanata would interact?

First and foremost, i feel like Kanata and Hamato's roles on her life would sorta switch around?

Since in a world where the despairs aren't a thing and the tragedy never happened he would have remained in college and become an architect which would make him pretty busy, so he'd really just visit the family every so often instead of being with Beni basically all the time through her childhood. So they definitely wouldn't be as close to one another as they are in the tragedy timeline and Beni would have grown up close to Kanata instead.

While she does have her work as a surgeon and studies in hope's peak i think Kanata would still take time of her day to go talk to her sister and ask how was her day at school and how she's doing, Beni was a very curious kid so i imagine she would sneak into Kanata's room while she's reading/studying and sit beside her. I also feel like in this scenario she would know Kinji too? He was friends with Kanata and liked taking care of the kids from his church so i imagine Kanata would bring him to meet her sister.

As she grows older they'd have longer, more meaningful conversation where they sorta just talk for hours and hours switching from one topic to another. I feel like Beni would ask Kanata for guidance whenever she's struggling with something, also think Kanata would try to help her with her anger issues a bit, tho obviously she wouldn't want Beni to bottle up her emotions or anything.

But the main thing that would change here is that Beni wouldn't have become a medical professional, yeah, she'd still admired her sister a lot but it's Kanata's absence in her life in the tragedy timeline and the fact that she hardly recalls how she was like that made Benitsuru want to become like her as much as she did. So with Kanata around she would have become some kind of historian instead, since that's something she has a real passion for.

#keese draws #rain world #rainworld #sliver of straw #consider my sliver more of an au than hc since I do a lot with them I wouldn’t do for an actual canon sliver #if we were to get a canon sliver characterization (which I wouldn’t want in the first place) I’d want smth Very different #with that disclaimer out of the way tho minor infodump time #my sliver is the youngest of her local iterator group along with being a fairly rare model #basically she’s built much more for efficiency and generally requires a lot less resources to power #this is largely because she doesn’t host a city like most iterators do and was made with the surrounding icy environment in mind #as a result she’s not nearly as environmentally destructive as most iterators #they’re not Not destructive mind you but generally their tundra like surroundings have stayed relatively in tact #they host a research facility atop their structure and was generally meant to aid in the research of the stationed scientists #because of this it interacted with far far less anchients than most iterators did and only did in professional environments #because of this far less effort was put into its puppet and vocal box with its voice being entirely flat #it still managed to manifest quite the strong personality however largely stitched from its local iterators #internally she’s quite the wreck being very emotionally unstable and desperate for attention #she has piss poor emotional intelligence however and as such tries to find very tangible ways to help the ppl she cares abt #this ultimately leads to a self distructive downward spiral as she clings to the idea of solving the great problem as the thing they need #and by they I mostly mean the eldest of her local group and their once close friend gaze from the stars #said friend was very very attached to her city citizens and as such took the mass ascension very poorly to put it lightly #and as stars became more bitter and isolated sliver became more desperate to fix this #leading to them diving deeper and deeper into their research and making stars feel more and more alone and betrayed #culminating I’m start cutting off her communications and sliver fully blocking out the rest their local group #until yknow. the whole tripple affirmative thing. #stars was still completely cut off leaving the rest of their group to watched in quiet horror alone as all the drama happened #they were a lot less close to sliver so they were in an awkward spot between not liking the idolization of sliver while also not quite #being able to comfortably point out how dehumanizing it all is given they hardly saw them as a person either before this #I’ll have to design my iterator ocs that are sliver’s group members soon I love them sm #they all kind of suck including sliver most distinctional family in existence

I saw your message and I fully agree, I'm gonna be honest, this is literally the first time i ever ''humanize'' characters, because I'm also a big fan of how they already look like as robots (I mean the reason I got into corporate clash is because of the designs of the og managers in clash lol) I will always 100% prefer the managers as robots. (I love robots, they r so silly :) Like I said im mostly doing this for fun and also because I saw some people in the clash discord making their own human designs and it gave me some ideas (a lot actually)... Anyway here's my take on human cathal.

I made his little round things on the sides of his mouth (i forgor what they're called skull emoji) as headphones and i also gave him funky lil glasses that are similar to his og eyes...

doo whoop here's the seating plan for locked out!!! i rejigged it a fair bit, but it was really fun???? dealt w my biggest pet peeve being that they put the tallest guy in class in the front row though i did also put one of the shortest guys in the back but that's so that he could be w his buddy!!!!!

i have,,,, a lot of thoughts abt the layout of the class like some people who just have to have the same ppl they sit near?? like todoroki and yaoyorozu have to be next to each other, same with jirou and kaminari, while uraraka has to sit behind iida. ashido also has to sit somewhere near kaminari or it doesn't feel right. but other than that, i went wild. i wanted danny to eventually sit next to shinsou, but until then he has to endure sitting next to the grape,,, rip. also bakugou doesn't get to sit near izuku that's the rules. i really wanted to get danny into the 13th seat, but alas i couldn't without some serious reorganising so he's stuck w 12. not that seat numbers matter all that much but akwrnalkwrj i am,,, attached.

i originally had a dp canon pic of danny in his seat bc the rest of the kids have their canon pics but it felt weird as fuck. so i put in a pic of danny that im gonna upload on my art blog soon i'll update this w a link to it later.

i was considering redrawing all the kids' portraits for consistencies sake but then my pen broke so if i wanted this done in time for the next chapter i needed to make some compromises, but maybe that'll be a project to try when i get my art situation sorted.
