The walk to the classroom that one morning, though it was short, certainly made you and Geto closer. 

It was evident in the way you’d stop at the classroom and chat with him as you waited for Shoko to collect her things to leave for both of your next classes. Your talks with your senpai were relatively just small talk, or discussions about that book about curses the Juniors take, the subject that Geto particularly liked when he was still taking that class, coincidentally. Sometimes, it’d be just about the weather. Sometimes, it would be Gojo trying to butt in the two of you and talk about Digimon. 

The white-haired senpai of yours sneers at you when you tell him you're not that familiar with it.

No matter how trivial or empty your talks with your friendlier senpai are, you always cherished them (you’re still trying to warm up to Gojo-san though). You especially kept close to your heart that day in the hallways when he walked you to your next class.

“I heard you can do Reverse Cursed Technique. I think that’s really cool.” He tells you, a soft look on his face as he flits his dark eyes down to your height. 

You look away as you feel little butterflies go nuts in your belly. “Ah - y-yes! I know that it’s a rare technique. And before you ask, I can’t exactly put into words how to use it, much like Shoko-san.”

“Hmm, I see. I remember when Shoko tried to explain it to us - her explanation didn’t make any sense but still called us talentless anyway.”

You try to hold back a chuckle behind your hand, “ That does sound like senpai.”

“I’d like to hear you try and explain it though - of what your interpretation is.”

“Ah - haha, I’m not really sure, Geto-san. I think, if you um, focus your, um, curse e-energy and, um…” Flailing your hands while trying to find your words, you almost trip on your own two feet as you walk.

Almost immediately, Geto wraps a hand around your left wrist and the other around your shoulders, stopping your fall. He chuckles at you, still not letting go.

“It’s okay,” He finally says. “I appreciate you trying to express yourself, but you gotta be careful now, you’re a rare gem so we can’t afford you getting hurt.”

A rare gem, you screamed in your head. Geto-san thinks I’m a rare gem.

You look up at him with a sheepish smile, thanking him for helping you. When he’s sure you’re standing upright now, he departs from you, making you miss his warmth and comfort already, and you’re practically blushing at how big his hands and how broad his shoulders are against your smaller self. 

Dear god, please don’t let me faint.

Geto rubs the back of his neck when the both of you round a corner, your destination at the end of the hallway. He doesn’t want to get you in trouble but he does want to talk to you more. So he asks you a question, hoping you’d consider staying with him for a few minutes. “Since you’re close with Shoko and I get to see you every day, I think it’s only right that I get to know about you more. What made you want to be a Jujutsu sorcerer? If it’s alright to ask.”

He doesn’t miss the way you subtly wince at the question. Did he just make a mistake in mentioning what might be a sore subject for you?

“You don’t have to - “

“I want to get to know you more too, Geto-san.” You continue speaking, missing the way your senpai completely freezes beside you. “My story isn’t all that interesting, but I’d love to share it with you at a more uh, less time-constricted, ehr, time. Haha. How about we talk about it more over ice cream? Should we swap numbers so we can inform one another when we’re free?”

You know you’re pushing your luck too far, why would your senior, campus crush, and the 2nd strongest of this generation, want to swap numbers with you? Sure, he said that he’d want to get to know you more, but probably just as friends, as a kouhai, or at the very least, he was just being polite and never really meant it. Your mind repeats this thought all the while Geto is still reeling on what you’re saying.

Meanwhile, Geto thinks you’re braver than him despite your stuttering mess. He didn’t know what he hoped to achieve when we offered to walk you to class. He just wanted the opportunity to learn more about you, talk to you, and keep receiving your cute and sweet smiles. He didn’t think he’d get your number after that. 

You, on the other hand, think you might come by as quite thick-skinned if anyone else would’ve heard you. You don’t care. After all, when will you get this opportunity again?

Geto finally smiles, pulling out his phone, “Of course, I’d like that.”

You feel your shoulders relax at this.

Geto was the first one to text you. He wanted to at least match your braveness in asking for his number and reciprocate it with texting first. Although the both of you haven’t really had the time to go for an ice cream date - ice cream date? Or whatever it is, he’s happy that at least he’d get to interact with you more outside of third period.

The rest was history.

Well, not really history, he’s very much now in the present, seated and shaking his leg as a result of his anxiety and from the cold as he waits outside of the school campus at 4 am. Today is an important day - a wide range of missions down at the Yokohama arena where multiple sightings of low-level cursed spirits have been reported. Naturally, it would be nothing but a piece of cake for him and Gojo, but seeing how wide the coverage area is and with the limited time they have before the next event to be held at the arena, they will need the help of their juniors.

The heavens would eventually answer his prayers about you coming with them on the mission.

Geto is dedicated to being a sorcerer, and he takes his studies, training, and missions seriously. But he’d have to admit that he’s looking forward to prolonging the mission if it’d mean he’d have more time teaming up with you instead of exorcising curses individually. 

It’d be fine, right? 

He was snapped out of his thoughts when Gojo snuggled deeper on his right side, both of them shaking from the cold together

“Making us wait out in this cold should be abuse,” His taller classmate complains in between his chattering teeth. “Who even wakes up at this hour?” 

“Shoko must be all warm and still sleeping in. Must be nice.” He curls his scarf tighter around his neck and pulls it higher to cover his now reddening nose.

“Yeah, that could’ve still been me too if you’d just let me sleep in for a few more minutes! Look where your punctuality got us, we’re the first ones here!” 

Geto was about to retort when you and your classmates finally strolled in from around the corner, a sign of life.

“Good morning, our seniors!” The brunette, Haibara, bows, followed by you and Nanami. “We’re sorry we’re late.”

Nanami clicks his tongue as the three of you approach them, “The managers aren’t even here yet.” “That’s why you juniors being late won’t be forgiven with just an apology!” Gojo shouted between his shivers, cold air coming out of his lips. “You should do 50 jump squats with your hands holding your ears!”

“Ignore him.” Geto smiles. “How are the three of you?”

While Gojo pouts beside Geto, Haibara enthusiastically takes the seat next to him, “It’s been a while since we last talked, Geto-san! Me and Nanami had been taking missions non-stop.”

“While this one here has been more frequently joining us, which I still think is a bad idea. Maybe you can talk some sense into her, Geto-san.” Nanami says, sideyeing you.

You lightly punch his shoulder, much to his annoyance. “Nanami, you’re so quick to throw me to the wolves.”

Geto raises his brows, finally having an excuse to talk to you directly. “ Is that so? How is that approved by your sensei and the higher-ups? I’m sure they’d treat you just like Shoko - the both of you need to be protected.”

“Well, they’re not exactly always approved - but I want to be able to defend myself if I want to be an on-the-field healer. Especially when Nanami and Haibara go on missions that are much farther from Jujutsu High - I���d want to be able to go with them in case they get injured.”

The raven-head only smiles up at you, silently admiring how you’re nice to look out for your classmates. Suddenly, Gojo grumbles, “But you’d just hold them back.”

“Sorry?” You ask, raising an eyebrow.

“I said you’d just hold them back. They’d got to be distracted every time you joined them on their missions. Right, Nanami?” 

The blond teen doesn’t reply, only averting his eyes when you look up at him. Haibara gives you a nervous look.

“Satoru.” Geto lightly elbows his side.

“Erm, anyway,” The brunette starts, “We all must be cold! How about some warm drinks?”  Gojo pipes, completely ignoring how you’re glaring at him. “Warm cocoa for me, 3 sugar cubes.”

“I’ll go come with.” You tell your classmate.

Much to your surprise, Geto-san rises along with Haibara. “It’s okay, I can buy the drinks instead with - “ He was interrupted when your classmate put a hand on his shoulder, shoving him back down from where he was seated.

“Nonesense, Geto-san! Your kouhais got it from here!”

“No - I insist, I’d be good to stretch my legs since we’ve been - “

“We got it, Geto-san! We’ll be back here before the managers do. 

You throw him an apologetic look and he just deflates his shoulders in defeat, still with a smile on his face. “Alright, please get tea for me then.”

The day went so much different the way he thought it’d be.

For one, the managers were an hour late. It was apparently due to some paperwork, they needed to file before they departed. Next was the tension between you two and Gojo, he could tell the both of you wouldn’t get along, which was a shame.

When he offered to take the other car with you in place of Gojo (who immediately went berserk at the thought of his classmate leaving him to the two other juniors), Haibara - oh heavens the good-natured kid that he is - insisted “It’s alright, Geto-san! Juniors and Seniors must stick together. If you’re worried about her, don’t be! Nanami and I will make sure she’s safe. See you at the venue!” 

He’s met both Nanami and Haibara beforehand. The four of them with Gojo would often go on missions together if it was urgent. He’s well aware of how bright, kind, and friendly the brunette is - that’s why he’s so fond of him. So he’s not particularly annoyed when Haibara unintentionally shoots down his efforts to spend time with you. 

But he’d be lying if he said he wasn’t mildly irked when Haibara, again, good-naturedly says, “Team up with her? Geto-san, no worries! I’ll look after her. You can focus on exorcising those curses.”

Nanami isn’t so oblivious though, “Haibara, you don’t need to accompany her. These are low-grade curses. She’s more than capable of - .”

“Nonsense, Nanami!”

Geto didn’t get to spend the mission with you after all, and he made sure to take it all out on the minuscule cursed spirits.

Shoko wakes up to a bunch of text messages from you:

"Wow," she sighs but has a small smile on her face. "My little kouhai has it bad."

How Digivolution Function with Reploids:

When it comes to reploids, being robots and not humans means that they don’t usually have a digivice as they themselves are the Device themselves. Meaning that reploids act both Tamer and digivice at the same time leading to…interesting developments how Digivolution works as they are actually different varieties two of evolution. While it requires a level of bonding between the reploid and the digimon, another is…less than pleasant to perform.

Standard Evolution: Normal Digivolution that we all know and love, it requires a level of friendship between reploid and digimon. Their energy is used to speed up a digimon’s digivolution, the higher the level the more stamina and energy that it consumes. So most of the time it has a time limit of how long the digimon stays in that form. Normally like humans, if the Digimon have a strong bond with their reploid partner the time limit extends and it consumes less stamina than the reploid provides. It can possibly create an energy feedback between reploid and digimon if their friendship is strong enough. The limit reploids Digivolve their partners is the Ultimate level, but there are cases where the reploid can Digivolve their partner to Mega or potentially Ultra level. But leaves to be determined as records show that a few reploids and their Digimon can achieve such a high level without consequences.

Symbiosis Evolution: A uniquely powerful evolution that is essentially a pure fusion between the DNA Soul and Digicore coexisting together as a new being. This is where the bond between reploid and digimon has transcended into new heights, of their souls working and existing together with no harm with each other. Despite being a new being it will inherit aspects of the reploid’s armor integrated into the form it self. But if this form is pushed to the absolute limit, there is a chance that both souls can either be damaged beyond repair. It’s an extremely rare and powerful process to perform, to trigger it this transformation must happen if the digimon and reploid have an extremely powerful bond. Only a very few and select individuals can perform this evolution without difficulty. Essentially Symbiosis is a combination of DNA evolution and Biomerge evolution, due the DNA soul and Digicores being incredibly similar and yet different.

Side note

The constant use of symbiosis evolution, can cause unexpected Mutations on the reploid’s DNA Soul to somehow obtain traits and abilities of their digimon companion and vice versa. It is unknown what this phenomenon can affect their health. But it seems that both parties are not negatively affected by their mutations. But is advised that the use of symbiosis evolution must be treated with caution.

Amalgamation Evolution: A uniquely horrifying transformation of a forced fusion between the reploid and digimon. A parasitic version of Symbiosis Evolution. Where both cores are in a constant battle of control and the body tearing itself apart into a chimera like form. It’s destructive and unpredictable, it’s commonly formed when a digimon is desperate to consume data from reploids to become stronger or a reploid forcefully fuses with a Digimon to obtain more power. It can often lead them into a state of endless agony, having one goal in mind: destroy, consume and survive. Or in a more rarer case the Digimon forcefully assimilates the reploid’s DNA Soul into their data to be their new armor, weapon or a new Digivolution. If it’s the other way around the reploid gains a new transformation that makes them even more destructive than ever.

There is a possibility to save the digimon or reploid, but the separation would also lead to irreversible mutations or worse if their souls are not extracted safely. It is strongly advised to approach these types of beings with utmost caution.

I think I forgot to talk about watching the CGI Digimon movie. It’s the movie completely separate from any anime so no digidestined or humans involved and it goes into the origin of the X forms digimon get. What got my attention was a gifset years ago that showed a baby digimon just straight up dead and it’s known for how bad the CGI is. It’s dated and a lil wonky and because of how old it is, the quality was also low, but the fight scenes and some animations were nicely done. And I enjoyed the story, especially because we got a good look at the Royal Knights digimon, my favorite lore. I gush about the story under a readmore to cut length.

The story starts with how scary and hectic the digital world has become. King Drasil was overloaded with how many digimon there were, so he carried some digimon to a new server and released the X program to wipe out the remaining digimon, a plan called Project Ark. So overpopulation which is....eugenics. Had me worried at first, but thankfully it’s framed as a tragic occurrence and King Drasil is the main antagonist. Some digimon survived the X program and developed an X-antibody to gain immunity and that gave them new forms and the chance to migrate to the new digital world. Unfortunately, King Drasil caught wind of it and ordered the Royal Knights to take the X digimon out. Also regular digimon hated X digimon because they shouldn’t exist and X digimon just wanted to live.

I felt so disappointed when one of the Royal Knights, Omnimon, showed up and not only attacked the X digimon, but he also killed the regular digimon. They just started attacking any digimon the vicinity of X digimon as well. Later at the climax, King Drasil got desperate and released an army of berserk digimon to wipe out the new digital world. The main character Dorumon digivolved throughout the movie and when he reached his adult form, he noticed he looked like the berserk digimon army. Turns out he was an experiment of KIng Drasil made for this purpose. Also another Royal Knight, Gallantmon, grew suspicious of the King and ended up sacrificing his life against Omnimon to prove a point of how the Royal Knights had changed from digimon protectors to fucking genocidal monsters.

Gallantmon did come back with his own X form to help the other digimon fight off the army, while Omnimon who had a change of heart after going too far and killing his comrade, teamed up with Dorumon (now DoruGreymon) to confront King Drasil. At the height of the battle with the King, DoruGreymon changes to Alphamon, another Royal Knight, and he and Omnimon defeat King Drasil, resetting and saving the digital world. All they had to do was turn his ass off and on again lmao. It was a wild ride with how apocalyptic and genuinely tense things got especially because digimon actually died throughout the movie.

EXTRA! DIGIWEEK DAY 5 - CROSSOVER

Let's do some headcanons, shall we? Last week @imaginedigimon posted these headcanons of a mixed Asian/Hispanic Sora and it led me to this:

And like I said, those mixed Asian/Hispanic headcanons gave me the reason to think of In the Heights x Digimon Adventure crossover headcanons. And what better day to write such a post than on Crossover day 5 of @digiweek! So here goes.

The story

The story here is basically the same. There's a guy (Usnavi) with a store, inherited from his deceased parents, who has this dream to go back to the land he was born in, thinking that's his dream. However he was raised on this block in this city he's living in now, so eventually he's torn between leaving or staying. Simultaneously all the other characters have their own aspirations and dreams, but they shouldn't forget where they came from. That's the main theme and story, the characters will be quite the same from the movie/musical, but with some changes here and there suiting the Chosen Children and the relationships between them (for now I will only cover the 8 Digimon Adventure 01 crew members).

I want the set up to be a little different though. So it's not like a latino block on the Island Manhattan in NYC, but it's more like a city or village on it's own. Something like Big Hero 6's 'San Fransokyo'... Maybe 'Santo Dotokyo'? Could be. Anyway, it's a mix of Latino and Japan (that's actually a very weird combination. I like it!).

The characters

Usnavi / Taichi Yagami: Of course my boy is the lead! He's smooth yet awkward, fierce yet cute, determined yet clueless. Sounds like our goggle headed fella right? So Taichi owns the store, like a true work-a-holic works very very hard. He's friendly, always supporting and beaming positivity. He knows the whole community and the whole community knows him, everyone well aware of his father's dream to patch up the bar on the exotic island they came from. Taichi though is still figuring out his dream and is torn between staying for the community (and his love interest...) or leaving for his (father's?) dream. Plus let's not forget he has some very serious salsa skills like a true latino! The dancing is on, gosh how much I love my Taichi swaying...

Nina / Hikari Yagami: Taichi's younger sister, kind and innocent, who followed their mother's dream to study abroad. The community believed in her and fully supported her like the little light she is, she being the first one to 'make it out'. However during her time abroad she starts to feel lonely and left out, gets homesick and travels back to her hometown and brother with the idea to never go back abroad. Though she just needs the courage to go through and that convincing might come from her community, her brother and her lover.......

Sonny / Koushiro Izumi: In this universe Koushiro, who works with Taichi in the shop, is a 'cousin' from Taichi and Hikari! He has been abandoned by his own mother -who probably was someone with a drug addict- but then he was taken in by Taichi's and Hikari's aunt and uncle..! Yes, this makes Kae a blood relative to Taichi and Hikari, being Yuuko's sister (I love that idea, although it makes both Taishiro and Koukari impossible...). Koushiro is a smart kid, quiet, but always there with his words right on time. He wants to go to college or university badly, the smart kid he is, but because he was never officially adopted and therefore isn't fully registered, his chances are low... Taichi and the community might be of help here.

Vanessa / Sora Takenouchi: WEPA VANESSA SORA! In the musical Vanessa aspires to become a fashion designer. Oh hey, that's such a Sora! Where Hikari wants to come home, Sora desperately wants to leave everything behind to start anew. She works in Mimi's beauty salon only to make money so she can move to a bigger city. It's kind of like a rebellion against her traditional mother who wants her to stay in the community and take over the flower shop. However she might be staying as fashion inspiration can also come from within the community and a certain someone she loves *cough*Taichi*cough*, but doesn't want to admit (this is a very self indulgent Taiora AU thank you very much).

Daniela / Mimi Tachikawa: The salon lady! Or boss is better. She is an entrepreneur pur sang and makes sure everyone looks good with beautiful nails and shiny hair! She's fierce, doesn't take no for an answer (no nonsense policy yup) and always has her eyes and ears open. And her mouth too, because the girl looooooves to gossip! Especially with her two salon companions (from which one HAS to be Miyako -and yes Mimi and Miyako are the lesbian couple-), ¡No me diga! Also: she absolutely loves to tease employee Sora by telling untrue rumors about Taichi just to see how Sora reacts. So sly Meems.

Benny / Takeru Takaishi: This might come as a surprise, because to be honest Taichi would fit Benny so well. But I went for Takeru as Benny, because Takeru can be just as smooth -and kinda sly-. Takeru is one of Taichi's best friends if not thé best friend (I love to explore that dynamic)! A best friend with a love interest in the best friend's sister a.k.a. Hikari. They are secret lovers who are not as secretly in love (Nina Kari and Benny Keru sitting in a tree... k i s s i n g) as they think they are. Takeru works across the street in a record store (yes, this is a big difference from the musical itself) where he takes over the community radio station in the morning. There he has a story telling podcast, telling fictional stories based on the stories of the community (Mimi always informs him with the latest gossip). Eventually he wants to go to college, just like Hikari studies abroad, to become a writer.

(Graffiti) Pete / Yamato Ishida: This is even more of a stretch, but bear with me! Graffiti Pete is a true artistic lone wolf! Spraying art on walls through the whole city and it's absolutely fabulous. He's Takeru's older brother, but was raised by his father after their parents splitted up, and also friends with the gang. Though he may have made some art on the window shutters from Taichi's shop... However, Yamato is not only a graffiti artist, he's also a musician, always 'borrowing' stealing records from the shop Takeru is working. Yamato is just a very mysterious guy, but also a very nice friend with artistic and deep emotional help from unexpected corners.

Piragüero / Jyou Kido: Haha okay, this is weird..! Actually this is great role for Daisuke, but because we're here giving the roles to the Adventure 01 cast, this one goes to Jyou. Simply because piragua (which is shaved ice) guy has a heart of gold and is super reliable, one of the oldest ones on the block, one who has seen it all. He's also a bit silly, doing this horrible work on the street, while he failed to become a doctor (so sad), but he brings joy to others! And also great advice, especially when it comes to following dreams no matter how big or small. Jyou is the one who doesn't let you forget where you came from!

And there are so many more headcanons I could come up with, so this might gets a continuation eventually. But for now, this is it (:

Reimagined Tickling #1

Prince of Egypt/Breath of the Wild

Ok, so, let me explain real quick. Haha I've got a ton of requests that I'm working on right now...more Ghibli stories, Digimon, Balan Wonderworld, etc. But in the midst of all that I had this idea and just wanted to write it out really quick. A lot of times when I see a tickling scene in a movie or TV show, I imagine how fun it would be to see other characters in those same situations. You know, like "Oh I wanna see X character get tickled like that." So I thought I'd try writing a few drabbles where I'll take a famous tickle scene and reinterpret it with new characters in new settings.

Now, as I've said before on this blog, one of my favorite tickle scenes ever is the one from The Prince of Egypt. XDDD

So I thought for my first one, I'd do a variant on this scene with...

With an eardrum-splitting rumble, the massive Molduga burst through the sand and knocked Link high into the air.

On the urging of Riju, the young hero had gone deep into the sands of Gerudo Desert to slay the great beast, which had been ransacking nearby settlements, gorging itself on collected fruits. Nothing he couldn’t handle. But this Molduga in particular was proving to be a challenge. As he thrust his spear into its underside, it rose to its full height, snapping its jaws, and yanked him up with it. But he knew better than to give up. Plunging his weapon further into the monster’s underbelly, he ripped it open from chin to groin, sliding down it and leaving a gash in his wake.

Link returned to the sand below in triumph and watched as the enormous monster crashed down into the dunes.

And then he was hit.

Stinking green and purple goo burst from the Molduga’s ventral wound and splattered Link from head to foot. Viscera and corkscrew-shaped innards sloughed off his arms and into the sand.

Great. Just perfect.

Link sputtered when a cauldron of water spilled out on his head. Strings of golden hair flattened down into his eyes, until one Gerudo woman aggressively pushed them out of the way with a soapy rag across his forehead.

This was so embarrassing. He was trapped in the Hotel Oasis’ spa area, stripped down to his trunks, and reluctantly allowing some Gerudo women to scrub him clean. (Again, at Riju’s insistence. She even paid for the deluxe spa treatment herself.) Romah, her assistant Olu, and one other pirate lady were wringing out sponges, dunking them into clay bowls and vigorously scrubbing the blood from their Champion’s body. In the midst of these women…unnaturally tall, muscular, dark-skinned beauties with flaming hair…Link’s average height and pale skin stood out quite a bit. Sometimes the girls had to kneel down to bathe him.

His ears grew hot with embarrassment and he felt the color of his face going pink. One of the sponges grazed his dripping arm; its texture was rough and unpleasant. His near-nudity didn’t help matters. Bubbles covered him all over.

“Um…blah! Hng…uh…l-ladies, really, I can do this myself…” he stammered.

Link looked down and gasped – one of the Gerudo ladies had grabbed his right ankle and lifted his foot off the ground. He couldn’t bring himself to speak in protest, but the woman’s warm, rough sponge scrubbed frothing bubbles against his bare sole. His whole body wiggled.

“Wait…no…Heh! Heh-Heh Heheh!” Link couldn’t stop himself from giggling.

“Uh-oh, girls; I think this voe’s a little bit ticklish,” laughed the woman scrubbing his foot.

“Yes, we can tell,” Romah replied with a sly smile. Link felt his arm lift, and another sponge struck his abs. It scrubbed and scrubbed and caused involuntary spasms below his ribcage.

“Heh-Heh Ha! Hngk! Hh-Heh! Heh-Heh Ha-Ha Ha-Ha!” the boy hero laughed helplessly. It was already difficult enough for him to speak to other people, but these girls…giggling at him, teasing him, all of them half-naked and with him forced to stand there laughing…there was nothing he could do. He wanted to beg them to stop but the words wouldn’t come.

“Awww, cootchie cootchie coo!” Olu was so excited, teasing Link mercilessly as she scrubbed his armpit. The woman beneath him had allowed his right foot to drop to the ground, still wet, and had moved on to tickling his left. He jumped in place in a way that told her, much to her amusement, that she’d found his weak spot.

“Heh-Heh Ha-Ha! H-Heh! Gkhn! L-heh…ladies, pl-hease, I really…Heh-Heh Heh-Ha Ha!”

“Ooo, he’s so cute when he laughs,” the girl giggled and batted her eyelashes at him.

“I like how muscular you’ve gotten, Link,” flirted Romah.

“He looks like a squirmy little boy…”

Link couldn’t take anymore. It was unbearable. His entire face had gone red, his whole body trembled. Wet sponges and rags dragged soap over his arms, his tummy, his back, his feet.

“Heh-Ha Ha! Please, you’ve cleaned every inch of me…”

Or so he thought. Olu, in the midst of all their cooing and playing with him, decided to get a little bit too friendly for Link’s comfort, and he felt a sponge scrubbing his inner thigh. He almost leapt out of his skin. It tickled, but that wasn’t his primary concern.

“WAH!! I…I…uh…” the Hylian boy stammered, blushing profusely.

Outside the spa room, peering in from behind a curtain, Riju, Urbosa, and Zelda were all covering their mouths to stifle their giggling. They were a little nervous that Link would notice them, but the slight trepidation was a more than worthy price of admission.

It was another few minutes before the impromptu bathing session ended. Link was left standing there, still soaked to the bone and covered in suds, when Romah doused him with another pitcher of warm springwater and threw a towel around him. The other Gerudo ladies tried to look like they hadn’t enjoyed themselves too much as they sauntered out.

“Don’t worry, I won’t stay to watch you change,” Romah winked at him.

Link lowered his face into the towel, hoping to hide his embarrassment. Between the laughter, the tickling, and the humiliation, Link’s heart was beating so fast he’d barely been able to breathe for 10 minutes.

With one last playful chuckle, the Hotel proprietor finally left him be.

Hi again, Beelze and Aguni with quiet/shy Tamer (+ the lonesome one as well) anon from week and a half ago(?). ^^' Thank you very much for those HCs, which is also me simping over them + others... especially Beelze x//u//x thank you!! Really enjoying your work! Not sure if this ficlet or some HCs? After reading where Beelzemon got too cocky, with his Tamer getting hurt in return, of course Beelzemon would be pretty hard on himself because of it, even if his Tamer forgave them... so maybe, if those negative thoughts were still lingering on his mind long after what happened, where probably in a rare case that he's starting to let his emotions show, to the point of crying in front of his Tamer... thinking he doesn't deserve even their sympathy or pity on him... ...with his Tamer coming up to him, as they gently nudge him to kneel to their height... as his Tamer gently places their hands on his cheeks, caressing them... as he's shedding his tears... as his Tamer then proceeds to kiss his tears away... telling him, "You're beautiful just the way you are...", as they continue to comfort him... (sorry if this is long ><' I'm just coming up with a bunch of scenarios with him honestly, plus generally enjoy angst and fluff a lot, with this being inspired by Utena... I'm a major Ikuhara fan xux)

Beelzemon breaking down in front of his Tamer | Ficlet | "I don't deserve you or your forgiveness."

It happened so long ago. Yet it was still fresh, as if it had happened yesterday.

His Tamer had healed well, perfectly fine, and he couldn't be more relieved... but God, if he didn't feel like complete shit still, even after all this time. Even after his Tamer told him that they forgive him, he still can't get over it.

It was all his fault, anyway. Why would they want to be near him after that? Were they not scared he'd do it another time? What if he did? On the outside, Beelzemon could keep a straight face, but on the inside it was nothing but turmoil, confusion and fear. And because he kept those emotions bottled inside, always acting cool, it built up dangerously.

He never wanted to talk about it, for very obvious reasons, but his Tamer could see what was going on if they looked him in the eyes, which is why he avoided eye contact with his Tamer now. It did slightly upset them. They knew he was being hard on himself, harder than he should have been. He didn't need to feel that way, and he needed to see it was fine to open up and talk, let the emotions go. But Beelzemon kept himself clammed up, bottling it up and keeping it on tight.

But eventually, that bottle broke.

A quiet night. It was so silent. Beelzemon keeping his distance, not even sitting near the warmth of the fire that danced gracefully as his Tamer put more wood into the fire. He was set off, one leg up with one of his arms resting on it as he sat. So quiet. The tension could be cut with a butter knife.

Beelzemon let his mind drift, but all it could do was go right back to the sight of his Tamer, lying hurt and bleeding. He hated that he had that image stuck in his mind for so long, even glancing towards his Tamer as if to check to make sure they were fine still and it wasn't suddenly back to that moment.

Thankfully, it wasn't. And they sat, looking into the fire and keeping warm, perfect health. Beelzemon swallowed hard, looking back to the ground before him. His chest started to hurt. His heart tightening some as he let his mind dwell and throw abuse to himself.

How could he have let that ever happen to his Tamer? He truly didn't deserve their kindness, nor their forgiveness. Ever. He didn't deserve to be near them. He didn't deserve to be their Digimon if he let them get hurt like that. It was so long ago... what if his Tamer was still pissed about it but to be gentle to him they stuck by his side just because they wanted to spare his feelings?

He didn't even register the tears before they started to fall. And once that happened, once he realized he was actually crying -- he, a Demon Lord, a powerful Digimon... was crying -- it was tough to stop.

He tried to keep it low, turning in a way that his back was to his Tamer, trying to make it look like he was resting with his head leaning against the tree he was sitting beside and he could try to cry in silence. But he sniffled. Fucking sniffled. Like a damn baby. And that's all it took to draw his Tamer's attention.

"Beelzemon? Are you.. alright over there?"

Beelzemon didn't say anything. He couldn't. If he spoke he knew he'd lose himself fully into this breakdown he was having. He was already beginning to cry tears that wouldn't stop, no matter how hard he tried to focus, from his eyes and he couldn't have his Tamer see him like that. So he just waved his hand, trying to signal he was fine. They didn't need to do anything. He didn't want them to see him like this.

He didn't deserve their sympathy.

His dismissive wave with his hand didn't work. He could hear leaves crunching as his Tamer approached and suddenly placed a hand to his shoulder, trying to get a look to his face as he tried to hide away, turning the more they tried to look.

"Beelzemon... talk to me." They whispered, near pleading in a way. This was unlike the Demon Lord, always a talker, but it certainly hadn't been that way for a while... not since the incident they were sure they forgave him for. Now thinking about it... It was like he didn't believe that they forgave him... "Is this... about that time? I've told you, I forgive you. Honestly. I do..."

"How could you, though?" Beelzemon finally muttered, brushing off his Tamer's hand as he went to stand, keeping his face turned away, "I didn't protect you! That was my job!" he continued, trying to wipe away the tears that fell from his eyes, "I had no right to ask for your forgiveness, I got you hurt. You could have died! I don't know why you want to stay by my side when you could have Died!" Beelzemon couldn't stop. He couldn't shut up either, utterly breaking down as he tried to continue, but his quivering lip and sobs not letting anything he said being comprehensible. Beelzemon didn't even care at this point, his emotions letting loose all at once and he just broke.

His Tamer sat, listening to quivering words and watching as their Digimon just... sobbed uncontrollably. They approached softly, very carefully placing a hand to the small of Beelzemon's back, trying to comfort him some as he continued to sob, trying to stop the tears by rubbing the palms of his gloves at the corners of his eyes.

They couldn't stand seeing him like this. But they knew he needed to let it out. He had bottled it up so much. Had never wanted to talk. And now that the bottle broke, there was no corking it. But they had to try to calm him down a little, even if it wasn't much. They needed him to understand that it was fine, and that they held nothing against him.

Ever so gently, they tugged his arm, gesturing for him to kneel down or at least bend down some. Beelzemon chose to kneel, letting his arms fall as he openly weep in front of his Tamer, all three red eyes glancing towards them before he looked down to the ground. It was clear he was trying to get himself to stop, his lower lip quivering as he tried to keep quiet.

His Tamer then took the moment, carefully wrapping their arms around his head, laying their own against him. Softly, they used the sleeves of their shirt to wipe away some of his tears the best they could, making him shut his eyes as he only accepted it. The new tears were softly kissed away which made Beelzemon sigh as he tried to stop his sobbing.

Beelzemon's Tamer them moved, placing their hands to his cheeks as they smiled to him.

"... I'm such an ugly crier, huh?" Beelzemon slightly joked, sniffling once more as he stared at his Tamer. Which only made them chuckle some.

"No. You're not. You're perfectly fine, Beelzemon, I promise," they muttered, leaning forward to place a soft kiss to the tip of his bird-like helmet. "It's always been fine. I swear."

"... I don't deserve your sympathy..."

"You do. I swear you do. The thing is, Beelzemon, you did everything you could to make sure I lived... I owe you everything. You kept me alive, you dumb idiot. Please, accept my words, stop being so hard on yourself..."

"..." A sniffle. Beelzemon gently leaned forward, just resting his forehead against his Tamer's shoulder, to which they only went to move their hand to mess with his hair, running their hands through it as well.

A quiet moment to appreciate each other.
