You probably already sort of know my personality from @rumble-aint-a-rumble-without-me, but I guess, I’m sort of sarcastic but am actually a good person, even if I act like a jerk sometimes. I really like to read and write. I crochet in my free time and I figure skate! I have a tendency to hyperfixate on stuff so I know a lot about a lot of various topics-

OUTSIDERS:

i have the feeling you and ponyboy would make sense. you both love reading and you two might have library dates. you two have lunch together at school, you might be writing and he is finishing up last minute school work. when he is at track practice and you are waiting for him to finish up you are most likely reading a book that is new and halfway done. you have tried multiple times to teach him how to figure skate because he wants to take an interest in things that make you happy but he can’t seem to get the hang of it. sometimes you two will study together and you two will up up just reading a book that caught your eyes. he loves that you know all these little facts and tips, he never gets bored about hearing about them because you light up when your talking about them and it makes him blush. although he may not be that sarcastic you do bring that small side of him out and you two always end up laughing after it. sometimes he will go on a run and try to make you come and you try but something else about two minutes in catch’s your eyes or maybe you secretly take a book with you and end up walking and reading it. you will crochet and make things for him and he will never get rid of them. he treasures them deeply and nobody can touch them but him and you. he much prefers your crochet gifts over anything else. he loves writing you letters and you have them keep safe in a box somewhere in your book and notebook filled room.

little drabble/skit

sitting on the bleachers as your boyfriend finishers up track practice. your scribbling down story ideas in your filled to the brim notebook. you look up to see ponyboy sprinted down the track which makes you laugh because to be honest he looks a little silly. sooner or later he is finally ready to walk you home. hand in hand, you walk out of the school heading down the busy road.

“how was is your story going?” he ask, giving you a kiss on the cheek

“good! i am almost done. how did track go?” you ask with a big smile

“good, i could have done better.” he says with a sigh

“well from what i saw, i think you didn’t do to shabby.” you say trying to comfort the dark dirty blond

“thanks babe.” he said, looking you in the eyes with a smile

Dillo Is Here!

Dillo slides onto your bookshelf bloody. It’s not the blood dripping from that supremely pulpy sawed-off finger by Rock the Dog. It’s just that Dillo was kicked around awhile before it found its home at Shotgun Honey, now an imprint of Down and Out Books. And, sure, its author has gone along for the ride. But it got there and for that I have to thank Ron Earl Phillips at Shotgun Honey for deciding to publish it with Eric Campbell and Lance Wright at Down and Out Books. Rock the Dog spent the hottest days of the summer of 2017 working over, I believe, 17 versions of the cover. The work paid off. No matter what you think of the book, the cover will be stuck to the inside of your brainpan until someone scrapes it off with a blowtorch. I’d like to thank Andy Rogers and Deb Hull, who have been reading my stuff before I was reading my stuff. Seven years ago Andy — then the fiction editor of the Chattahoochee Review — sent me a really nice email out of the blue about a story I’d submitted. The story got rejected, but Andy’s encouragement has kept this boat afloat since then. We’ve even worked together on a script for an absurdist Wall Street shark thriller. I’d like to thank Nat Sobel for his generous advice at the beginning of my crime rampage. It helped me get Dillo in the shape it is in now. As always, to fit the age bracket, you’re either Soda’s twin, or you were born between Sodapop and Ponyboy

Lemme set the stage a little bit, alright? Cause there’s a bunch of ideas floating around in this brain of mine-

You’ve had a crush on Dal for the longest time and I mean the longest time- ever since he stumbled in with that stupid white blond hair and that stupid New York accent and that stupid little attitude of his- you’d been head over heels

And low and behold, Dallas had been nursing a few feelings for you as well, hiding them a little better than you had been

So of course, y’all flirt and mess around and all the rest of the boys are a little suspicious but you and Dal both deny that there’s anything between the two of you

That changes a few weeks before the Curtises die, you and Dallas go on an official date down to the nightly double (he timed it with your favorite films cause he’s romantic like that) and bada bing bada boom, y’all are dating

But it’s a secret and no one knows but here comes the funeral and you’re holding Dallas’ hand through the whole thing, crying into his shoulder and he’s cradling the back of your head and everyone knows there’s something up

Darry doesn’t like it- not even a little bit- he doesn’t love that you’re dating Dal one smidgeon of a bit

He likes Dal well enough, he’s got to, they’re in the same gang, but like- he knows Dallas well enough too to know that maybe this isn’t the best thing

Dare’s biggest concern is your heart and whether or not Dal’s gonna break it by doing something stupid like fooling around with someone else or getting hauled in for something big and leaving you alone forever

Sodapop’s a little more okay with it? But he’s still a little hesitant, especially when Dally likes to get a little more physical than he needs to

*cough cough* kissing you way past decent under the porch light when he’s dropping you off at home after a date, sliding his hand into your back pocket to keep you close, just generally being Dal and pushing the limits of what is publicly decent *cough cough*

But!

Where the real fun is located is with our dear darling Ponyboy!

It’s canon, I’m pretty sure and I’m pretty confident after reading the book fifty million times, that Ponyboy “doesn’t like” Dally and thinks he’s kinda scary

But at the same time, we all know that boy looks up to Dally too and Dally has a soft spot for him

I’m seeing like- Ponyboy and Johnny and Dallas hanging out, just the three of them, and Dal’s trying to be all nonchalant and stuff, smoking casually as he tries to ask Ponyboy about how you’d like certain things

Dally tries to subtly run almost all his date ideas past Ponyboy before he takes you out because yeah, he really does like you, and sometimes he’s just a little unsure of himself with how much he cares about you

Now. When he gets hauled in, and we know it’s going to happen, let's be honest with ourselves folks, when he gets hauled in, his phone call is going to go to the Curtis house

He’s gonna ask for you and he’s gonna apologize for having to be gone for so long

If I was you? I’d cry, I’d scream, I’d be angry and sad and frustrated because why does he keep making stupid decisions?

But I’m gonna tell you this-

Putting up with stupid decisions and working through tough times like this? It’s gonna be a lot of the relationship, and it’s gonna be pretty prominent in your time with Dally

If that’s not for you? Then maybe, maybe it won’t work out

But that’s alright too! All the more for me :D

i get insecure when i have incorrect spelling because i am a terrible speller also if my story doesn’t make sense. because i want my fics to be amazing for my awesome readers!

🌻what makes you want to give up on writing? what makes you keep going?

sometimes i feel like my writing isn’t good or that i am not good at it. i have a hard time sharing it with people in my real life so i feel like that means i shouldn’t do it. i know it doesn’t make sense haha. things that keep me going are my aspirations to be a writer someday, it may not be my main career but at some point in my life i want to write a book and publish it. another thing that keeps me going is my readers because it shows me that my work is loved and that these amazing people enjoy and love my work. love you guys!

My opinions on the mob vote! ✨

- All the uses the new mobs seem to have looks very niche and quite tame actually, so I don't feel like there's a clear winner just by looking like how it was with the allay and sniffer

- Tho it does look like the crab claw is the most useful item, I feel it will become the next spyglass: u'll make one bc it's a fun concept, but soon it will become clutter in ur hotbar and ull leave it be. I feel most builders would prefer scaffolding a couple blocks than have one slot taken

- If the way the penguin makes the boat faster is similar to how dolphin gives it's grace, then idk... But if it somehow provides a way to upgrade ur boat then yEA I feel like that's a good start to boat upgrades!

- eoughhhh doggy armor... safe ouppyyyyyy... Dillo so friend shaped omggg eoughh <333333333333 I lvoe them eouhdjdkkrkfkdjdkf

- I feel Mangrove Swamps already have a lot of characteristic mobs (tropical fish, bees, slimes) and they already have frogs as their iconic animal. Meanwhile Stony Shores are a quite barren place, and everything u get in a Savannah u can basically get in a plains biome. They both would benefit so much with the addition of a new form of life!
