En Almerimar

El gran problema de Punta Entinas y el Sabinar es que las urbanizaciones de Almerinar, se encuentran ya pegadas al espacio natural protegido. La presencia humana y la contaminación es continuada, lo que provoca la pérdida de las características propias del hábitat. Además de las urbanizaciones, la proliferación de invernaderos, de agricultura bajo plástico, han cercado el espacio natural. Pero, a pesar de ello, la biodiversidad permanece, aunque no se sabe por cuánto tiempo.

Hay 6 taxones (grupo de clasificación científica) incluidos en la Lista roja de la Flora Vascular de España: Ammochloa palaestina Androcymbium europaeum Caralluma europaea (Chumberillo de lobo) Chamaesyce peplis Ononis talaverae Sideritis pusilla Silene littorea Brot. subsp. adscendens

Wahlenbergia lobelioides nutabunda

Destaca la presencia del carófito amenazado Lamprothamnium papulosum, y también de otros carófitos de distribución más amplia, como Chara galioides y Chara fragilis, acompañando a algunos macrófitos acuáticos de interés como Potamogeton pectinatum, Najas marina, Ruppia marítima, Ruppia cirrhosa, Zanichellia pedunculata.

Insectos

Como especies curiosas que podemos encontrar en este entorno destaca la presencia del Coleóptero Cicindelinae, Megacephala euphratica, exclusivo de saladares del sureste de la Península Ibérica, Lophyridia lunulata, Lophyra flexuosa.

Entre los Odonatos destaca Anax imperator (libélula emperador, en la foto), Orthetrum cancellatum, Diplacodes lefebvrii, Sympetrum fonscolombii, Sympetrum striolatum, Trithemis annulata  Selysiothemis nigra, Orthetrum trinacria.

A Perched Glimmering Dragon fly known as a Ground Skimmer (Diplacodes trivialis) I spent two days out by a lake in a resort, a few miles out of Chiang Mai. There were huge amounts of butterflies and dragon flies right in front of my door. This shot was taken on a patch of grass in the garden. This is a male judging by the colouring, and he was pretty willing to sit there and have his photo taken a few times. On this shot I managed to capture the sun glimmering of his wing.
