The U.S. Space & Rocket Center is one of the most interesting and insightful experiences for American History I have ever visited, and it’s located in Huntsville, Alabama. The museum is made up of the gardens and the exhibits, featuring both military and space technology.

This is the home of Space Camp, allowing for STEM education as a focus. A large part of the museum is the Saturn V Hall, featuring an authentic Saturn V rocket hanging from the ceiling, being one of the few in the entire world.

There are other activities at the rocket center available in your ticket or available to purchase on top of your ticket. Some of these include the SCUBA experience, DIVR+, G-Force Accelerator, Multi-Axis Trainer, Flight Simulator Experience, HyperShip, and more.

If you have the time to, I would take a trip to the U.S. Space & Rocket Center and see some amazing history and you might be able to meet a NASA scientist while you’re there.

Bantuan Cadangan Pangan Pemeritah Tahun 2024, Sasar 81.374 KPM di Kabupaten Tanggamus

Sebanyak 81.374 KPM di Kabupaten Tanggamus, mulai Tanggal 29 Januari 2024 mendapatkan kuota penyaluran bantuan cadangan pangan pemerintah Tahun 2024. Jumlah sasaran ini berdasarkan data P3KE (Pensasaran Percepatan Penghapusan Kemiskinan Ekstrem) yang bersumber dari kantor Kemenko PMK-RI. Demikian diungkapkan Pj Bupati Tanggamus Ir. Mulyadi Irsan, saat memberikan sambutan dalam proses penyalurkan bantuan cadangan pangan Pemerintah Tahun 2024 di Gudang Perum Bulog, Pekon Rantau Tijang, Kecamatan Pugung, Senin (29/01/2023). “Penyaluran bantuan pangan tahun ini dilakukan dua tahap, yaitu tahap 1 pada bulan Januari - Maret dan tahap 2 pada bulan Apr – Juni,” jelasnya. Dikatakan Pj Bupati, bantuan pangan beras kembali digulirkan pemerintah kepada total 22 juta keluarga penerima manfaat (KPM). Jumlah penerima bantuan pangan beras di tahun 2024 ini mengalami peningkatan sekitar 8% dibandingkan jumlah penerima tahun sebelumnya yang sejumlah 21,3 juta KPM. Bantuan pangan beras ini merupakan arahan langsung dari presiden Indonesia Joko Widodo untuk menjaga stabilitas pangan dan menekan angka inflasi di Indonesia. Selain itu, bantuan beras merupakan upaya yang dilakukan pemerintah dalam menghadapi musim kemarau panjang yang diakibatkan badai El Nino dan untuk mengantisipasi krisis pangan. Setiap tahapan pada kegiatan ini dilakukan sesuai Juknis Bapanas yaitu keputusan Kepala Badan Pangan Nasional RI No. 01/TS.0303/K/1/2024 Tanggal 02 Januari 2024, tentang petunjuk teknis penyaluran cadangan pangan pemerintah untuk pemberian bantuan pangan tahun 2024. Penyaluran bantuan pangan ini akan dilaksanakan oleh kantor PT. Pos Indonesia yang ada di kabupaten Tanggamus. Penyaluran bantuan pangan tahun 2024 dilakukan dua tahap yaitu tahap 1 pada bulan Januari - Maret tahaf 2 pada bulan Apr – Juni. “Akan ada 16 pekon yang membutuhkan penyaluran sekaligus 3 bulan yakni kecamatan cukuh balak 4 pekon kecamatan pematang sawah 10 pekon, kecamatan semaka 1 pekon, kecamatan pugung 1 pekon,” ujarnya. Sementara, Kadis Pertanian Tanaman Pangan dan Holtikultura Catur Agus Dewanto, mengatakan, laporan bantuan pangan tahun 2024 adapun tujuan penyaluran CPP melalui pemberian bantuan pangan bertujuan untuk mengurangi beban pengeluaran penerima bantuan pangan. “Sekaligus sebagai upaya dalam mengentaskan kemiskinan menangani kerawanan pangan menanggulangi kekurangan pangan dan gizi menurunkan penting mengendalikan gejolak harga pangan dan inflasi serta melindungi produsen dan konsumen,” ucap Agus Dewanto. Untuk sasaran penerima bantuan pangan berasal dari data P3KE (Pensasaran Percepatan Penghapusan Kemiskinan Ekstrem) dari Kemenko PMK RI sebagai Walidata adalah masyarakat miskin dan yang mengalami rawan pangan dan gizi. Penerima bantuan pangan ditetapkan oleh kepala badan berdasarkan hasil rapat koordinasi tingkat menteri/kepala lembaga. Adapun sumber data penerima bantuan pangan berasal dari ; kementerian yang menyelenggarakan koordinasi sinkronisasi dan pengendalian urusan kementerian dalam penyelenggaraan pemerintah di bidang pembangunan manusia dan kebudayaan, lembaga pemerintah non kementerian yang melaksanakan tugas pemerintahan di bidang pengendalian penduduk dan penyelenggaraan keluarga berencana, dan lembaga lain yang ditetapkan oleh pemerintah. “Adapun sasaran penerima bantuan pangan di Kabupaten Tanggamus sebanyak 81.374 sasaran orang di 20 kecamatan di 302 pekon atau kelurahan,” tutupnya. Tampak hadir di lokasi, Kepala Perum Bulog Divre Lampung dan jajaran, Kepala PT.
