The first Mrs. Vincent Astor, Helen Dinsmore Huntington, a leader of New York society, ca. 1926. Her friend Glenway Wescott, the novelist, described her in his unpublished diaries as "a grand, old-fashioned lesbian." After her divorce from Astor in 1940, she married Lytle Hull, a friend and business associate of Astor's.

Hey! I was curious, do you know anything about the Aen Elle and Aen Seidhe relatios? Are the Aen Elle just hugely embarrassed by how their cousins ended up, maybe disgusted by the fact that almost all of them are mixed? What would the Aen Seidhe even think?
Hey!
It's an open topic & an interesting one to develop.
The books do not give the Aen Seidhe's view on the Aen Elle. The Aen Elle's position regarding the Aen Seidhe, however, reminds me of the imperial propaganda that, for example, Russia advances within the confines of pan-Slavism (see its expression in diametrically opposite flavours in case of Serbia (little brother to be aided) or Ukraine (wayward cousin who must be beaten to a pulp in order to erase its self-chosen"fake" identity)).
In other words, I do not necessarily think the relations between Aen Elle and Aen Seidhe would be amicable, or that while Aen Seidhe would very much appreciate being able to leave the Continent, they would also want to or be able to integrate with their cousins from another dimension. For starters, how come Aen Elle have seemingly more keys and claim to Elder Blood than Aen Seidhe in the first place? What were their relations like before Aen Elle left the Continent for a new and more interesting world? Why did they leave (aside "boredom")? Consult your Tolkien, if you like; kinslaying and conflict among elves is nothing novel. Or consult history & present-day. (Or check out @galateaencore's Gardens of Tir na Lia, which sketches out some background dynamics in both of these veins; and is generally beautifully written.)
In case their relations are amicable, however, I think Aen Seidhe would have a pretty hard time shaking off the PTSD of war and loss and learning how to live a in a society which at least seems relatively peaceful (if only because it has managed to eliminate competition through genocide and indenture). It doesn't mean that Aen Elle's society/tribe could not have its own problems, e.g. evolutionary dead-ends? (Would Aen Seidhe be a much-needed boost in the gene pool, then? How many young elves are there left among Aen Seidhe anyway? Or would Aen Seidhe be seen as lesser, mongrels, and something to be "cleansed"?)
It's a pity how very little we know of elven culture in the Witcher in general, not to say of the differences between Aen Seidhe and Aen Elle. Aen Seidhe's mixing with humans may have been condemned from afar, or Aen Elle may have experimented just the same for a while. If Aen Elle's new homeworld's conditions were favourable in that the human population living there was smaller and technologically/magically much less advanced/receptive than on the Continent then Aen Elle may have had just enough time to course-correct at witnessing how badly things were turning out for the Aen Seidhe, whose first response had been ignoring humanity, helping them here or there, and eventually mixing with them (first out of curiosity and then out of necessity). Or the elle never did mix with their new world's humans in the first place and did so only on the Continent. Or they never did (unlikely, imo, given their interest in genetics, reproduction issues & general craving for novelty). Open topic, all of it.
