Hello~!
Sweet stepdad!Leon makes a reappearance 💕 Walking Through A Graveyard was a super cute story~
I love how he’s going along with Reader’s little investigation 😊 Vampire legends are always so cool! I’ve got a couple graveyards by me so maybe I’ll go exploring one day 😌
“A sharp wind gusts around you, tossing dead rose petals into the air and making you shiver.” Oh my~ that’s oddly enchanting 🥀 Nothing more romantic than walking in a graveyard~
Leon is such a dork! We love a corny guy 🤭 (even if I’ve never seen Ernest Scared Stupid 😅)
Amazing job as always~ I read your little comments on my asks and I get all happy 😊 I’m always happy to leave cute little messages 💌
I’m so glad that you’re feeling better! It’s cold today too, so I hope you stay warm~ Wishing you luck on any and all graveyard explorations you may have in the future~ 🧛🪦
-🥭
🥭 anon!! 👋 😊
Aww thanks 🥰 and I love walking around old graveyards! The most recent I visited was the cemetery featured in The Blair Witch (1999) 🤭
I love that line too!! 😍 there’s just something magical about cemeteries 🙈
Oh my gosh!! I have a link to the movie from YouTube here. Be prepared cause it’s hella cheesy but really wholesome. 🤭 💜
Idk how old you are (and not prying!) but back in the 90’s Ernest became a viral hit before that was even a thing.
He was in a bunch of silly commercials and then went on to be in a ton of movies. The actor who plays him, Jim Varney, was a super nice down to earth person (he also voiced Slinky Dog in Toy Story 1 &2 before passing away).
Anyway sorry for the ramble 🤣 I like sharing about stuff I know 😝 (and Ernest Scared Stupid is a classic Halloween movie for me 🤭)
Oh wow that’s so sweet of you!! 😭 💜 thank you for always leaving an ask, I love seeing them 😘
And I hope you keep warm on any graveyard walks you might take 😉

How would you like to see an Enchanted AU transposed onto Dair? What roles do you imagine the Gossip Girl characters fulfilling, and how similarly or differently do you think the movie’s plot line would play out assuming the GG characters still retained their general personalities?
anon asked: enchanted with amy adams? the way dan would be the amy adams character to me, that’s such a fun idea!!!
combining these two asks for convenience: while the idea of dan as giselle is ADORABLE and i love it, the way i had it planned out was blair as giselle and dan as robert, because really how the idea came to me was based on how blair *is* a princess, and how obsessed with the fairytale kind of love she is, and how much of her life she mythologizes. i thought it would be fun/interesting to turn that into her being an actual fairytale princess who gets thrown into the real world. i think it’s a good metaphor for her! and also because i loved the idea of dan with milo in this ‘verse :’) just! milo loving princesses, and then meeting blair!!
originally i thought louis would be good for prince edward because, duh, but i actually think nate is a better fit, with anne as the queen. and! serena as nancy! we get derena, blate, dair, and serenate with the latter two as endgames! also something interesting about serena getting the ending blair thought she’d have but being more happier with the ending she really gets.
i think the general plot would stay the same. maybe we’d get into blair not being her truest self with nate in order to be a “good princess”, and really clinging onto their specific happily ever after. i feel you could weave a lot of canon into the story!

"Boom Town" thoughts
so remember how i said in the last post that it's easier to talk about middling episodes than great ones. well i have a lot to say about this one
this is actually one of my favorite stories of the season (i originally had it in second place, i think it's probably third now). i'm enchanted by it, i think there's so much potential and so many great lines
i didn't really notice before but i assume her name is margaret blaine has a reference to both thatcher and tony blair, both of whom are scum. is blair the one who fucked the pig? i don't think so but there's no proof he didn't, so
i have to say that i think the running explanation of "no one notices the tardis bc humans are fundamentally incurious" really doesn't check out for me. i mean, the whole point of "long game" was that it was UNUSUAL for those people to not ask any questions or care about what was going on! canonically, human beings spread out across millions of worlds (fuckin and suckin along the way), being too curious is actually one of the catalysts for the human companions getting into trouble. other explanations like "millions of people saw a spaceship land in london and have now all decided it was a hoax" track for me (i mean, look at covid), but "incurious" is just not a problem people in general have, not in the whoniverse
honestly the dinner scene between the doctor and margaret is one of my favorite scenes of the entire season. we've gotten the doctor as lonely outcast, forgotten child, reluctant survivor, proud coward. now we get the doctor as murderer, executioner. i mean, that's what he did to gallifrey, right? no matter the reason, he killed all those people. he kills people, or lets them die, or can't save them. it's a huge running theme throughout the davies era, and we see ten overcorrect and try too hard to be the hero and martyr before he finally snaps and accepts being "the time lord victorious"
"i bet you're always the first to leave....at last you have consequences" yes! force him to watch what he's doing! "day of the doctor" has the climax revolve around that exact idea, watching gallifrey fall, counting all those dead children. he's the rebel, the runner, on to the next adventure, don't stick around to clean up and rebuild. a lot of his companions eventually decide to do just that, stick around to clean up and rebuild, settle down. can he look her in the eye and sentence her to death? can he dine with her before he sends her to the gallows? "you're pleading for mercy out of a dead woman's lips"
i think the ending is a copout tbh. oh she was playing him, she didn't really change or even want to. no! make him decide! make him face that choice! make it ambiguous even, bc it already was– she didn't kill the pregnant, engaged reporter, she let her go. that was true. she remembered how it felt to have a family that loved her– abused her– protected her. i like the "starting over" bit with the egg, let nurture have a chance to change nature, but c'mon man, let us sit with the weight of the Points she made
this was such a good mickey episode, speaking of points made. noel clarke crushed it when he broke down with "at least i know where she is" bc yes! jackie is her mother, she would wait for rose forever, but what is mickey supposed to do? she's gone for months at a time, she's always at risk for death and danger, she's clearly formed an incredibly intimate (if not explicitly romantic) relationship with the doctor, who is and does things mickey never could, and that's not even to mention jack (who was much more tolerable and fun this time around). rose's bubbly conversation dying when mickey mentions he has a new girlfriend, him clearly still in love with rose but feeling helpless. poor mickey. i liked rose acknowledging that he didn't have other choices, really, even though it upset her. it's hard to have ties like that back home. we basically have this storyline play out again with amy and rory, although that resolves differently
so yeah this episode gets my brain snapping off

The energetic capital, Port Blair, welcomes you to an island trip with a mix of the old and the new. The painful legacy of India's war for freedom, the infamous Cellular Jail, serves as a monument to the historical significance of the island.
Havelock Island, a paradise known for its immaculate Radhanagar Beach, which frequently appears on lists of the greatest beaches in the world, is just a short boat journey from Port Blair. Here, sun-kissed beaches and turquoise waters combine to offer the perfect getaway for those who enjoy water activities as well as leisure. Happy Buoy Island presents a kaleidoscope of marine life under its pristine waters, making it a snorkeler's paradise for those searching for colourful coral gardens and underwater wonders. With its mangrove-lined rivers and limestone caverns, Baratang Island, enveloped in a thick layer of vegetation, enchants both nature enthusiasts and thrill-seekers. The Andaman Islands are made up of a mosaic of experiences that are just waiting to be explored by people looking for the ideal balance of excitement and relaxation in this tropical paradise. Each island in the archipelago tells a different story, ranging from historical accounts to stunning natural settings.
Here are some places to go in Andaman.
1.Port Blair: Port Blair, the capital of the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, is a location you should definitely visit. If you want to breathe in the gorgeous, ancient Andaman air, travel to Port Blair, which is home to many museums and a significant Indian Navy installation. Port Blair, known for its Cellular Jail, also known as KaalaPani (Black Water), offers insights into India under British rule and the tales of bygone eras. Other stunning locations for sightseeing include Chatham Island, which is home to Asia's biggest sawmill; Zsi Museum, which is home to a wide variety of animal and insect species; and Chidiya Tapu, also known as Bird Island because of the numerous bird species that can be found there.
2.Havelock Island: Without a doubt, the most popular destination in the Andamans must be this island. Havelock Island, well-known for its immaculate beaches and sherry sunsets, also offers activities for those with a more daring spirit. You may go fishing, hiking, snorkeling, mangrove safaris, and scuba diving. You did really hear correctly! Aside from these things to do, you really must go to Radhanagar Beach, which Time Magazine named the greatest beach in Asia. If you intend to spend some time in Havelock, you should also check out Elephant Beach and Kalapathar Beach. Both have stunning beaches. In addition to its laid-back offerings, Havelock boasts a good selection of resorts and restaurants serving excellent cuisine and beverages for those looking to indulge.
 3. Happy Buoy Island: This island is incredibly gorgeous—a poet's paradise. Jolly Bubble is the ideal location for lounging in the sun because of its pristine beach, turquoise, crystal-clear sea, and underwater reefs. It might be wise to leave your plastics at your hotel or at Wandoor Beach, where you must go if you intend to visit Jolly Buoy, as this area is strictly no-plastic. If all you want to do is relax, this island is the best option because it has huge expanses of beach and no one else is there. While you're there, you can also go scuba diving and snorkeling and take in the stunning and vibrant coral formations!
4.Baratang Island: A visit to the verdant, abundant Baratang Island is a must-do when in the Andaman Islands. Baratang Island, well-known for its mud volcanoes, limestone caves, and Parrot Island, genuinely elevates your Andaman Islands experience. Not to be missed is the Middle Strait Jetty, which is well-known for its saltwater crocodiles. The Jarwah tribe, who have not yet been impacted by modernity, reside on Baratang Island, making it the most astounding and breathtaking feature of the trip. Now go ahead and stroll through peaceful mangroves to greet these folks and be moved by their naivety.
5.The little island of Andaman: You would be well advised not to judge this island by its name! Little Andaman Island, the fourth-biggest island in the Andaman Islands, is surrounded by lush flora that would make you cry. This island has magnificent waterfalls in addition to serene beaches. Only on this island can you go boating, surfing, and do elephant calf training. Take an elephant safari to see the island's enormous elephants, or see the waterfalls that go by the names White Surf and Whisper Wave. There are plenty of options for sightseeing, along with several photo opportunities, that this island has to offer!
Set out on an adventure to the alluring Andaman Islands, a tropical haven tucked away in the Bay of Bengal that provides a wide range of adventures for tourists of all stripes. Start your journey in the bustling metropolis of Port Blair, where the Cellular Jail is where history comes to life as stories of India's freedom fight resound. Review: Ben Murphy’s second single ‘The Edge’ wields a storming indie sound amidst lyrics tinged with his personal struggles through anxiety
Tumblr media
North-west London based indie-pop up-comer Ben Murphy is storming off the heels of his debut single ‘All I Do’, a remarkable hit that saw the attraction of thousands of monthly listeners and even more streams, all falling for his incredible storytelling talents and emphatic sound. His newest and second single ‘The Edge’ found itself written on the old broken Piano in London Euston Station after missing his last train home, an intimate moment shared with a scattered station and now audiences everywhere.
An atmospheric rising of synth leads things into ‘The Edge’, adding an enchanting edge to the track’s sound before thudding beats simmer into the soundscape atop the shining undertones. This base of sound feels easy-going and almost comforting, but the ambience completely shifts with the introduction of Ben’s vocals laced through it, adding a haunting emotional resonance in his downbeat but agile singing drenched in a melancholic aching. Vibrant electric guitar joins into the concoction, glowing with every single strum and adding a hint of positivity weaved between the lows, paralleling the narrative’s shifting emotion and struggles. The chorus doesn’t offer much of a shift in sound from the verse with just a few heightened instrumentals and sprinklings of sounds, captivating you instead on the lyrics that’ll hook you onto each word and have you chanting along regardless of the weight of the words. An intimate chorus-based bridge pairs things back towards the end, falling into just electric guitar strums and Ben’s vocals alone for pure heart-wrenching focus on the narrative at hand before things spiral into one final climactic chorus end.
Penned from a very real and heart-wrenching journey through Ben’s own struggles with mental health, ‘The Edge’ explores the shattering impact that anxiety can have on your life and the lengths it can drive you towards just to feel a sense of normality. As the chorus hook proclaims ‘it’s not just another night out, seems like it’s every time now’ , Ben’s weighty words relate to real life events as he found himself overdoing his drinking at gigs just to garner a sense of courage in speaking with strangers to progress his music career. Aware that his behaviour is having a negative impact on those around him, he asks ‘am I weighing you down darling?’, struggling to get by but seemingly unable to stop himself from continuing this downhill cycle. Making others concerned with his actions, lyrics like ‘making excuses to your mother while I’ve been drinking every night’ only further carry the burden of his behaviour, feeling a sense of shame and yet seeing this is a necessary evil to putting himself out there. More rhetorical lines like ‘how long have I been awake?’ exude Ben’s detachment from reality, pushing himself so hard that he can no longer keep track of anything while he stumbles through to make it work. So deeply infused with his own story, ‘The Edge’ is an absolutely aching lyrical journey that many in the same boat can likely relate with all too well, just wanting to find a slither of confidence that everyone else seems to so naturally carry whilst driving yourself into the ground trying to keep it up.
Check out ‘The Edge’ here to feel the heaviness of Ben’s story whilst his uplifting indie sound carries you through!

Blacktober Day 22 Original Character
I'm so pleased with the final product the hardest part was finding an outfit for the prologue but I figured doing something simple would be best she looks so adorable and I'm so pleased with the eye shape that I gave her because if it's simplicity that's probably going to be the final eye look for the character roster saved for a few

Early History
Penelope Park is the daughter of an English witch, Lauren Park, and an Indonesian professor/archeologist, Kabul Mentari. She grew up traveling the world with her parents wherever her father's work took him and grew up hearing tales of Indonesian mythology. When she was young, something happened at a dig site that left her without any memories of the incident and a broken leg. After that, her parents decided to stop traveling and set down roots in the United States. At some point, her father's called back to Indonesia but doesn't return home, leading her and her mom to believe he died due to a series of storms taking place there. The loss severely impacts the duo and causes Penelope's magic to come in. With the emergence of her magic, her mother self-taught her for a year before a representative from the Salvatore school came knocking on their door.
After traveling and taking a tour of the school, Penelope was enrolled and quickly became one of the top witches over time. However, she initially clashed with Lizzie and Josie Saltzman, whose attitudes she disliked. When she was 8, another set of fraternal twins was newly admitted to the school, Hope and Harmony Marshall. She was initially interested and intrigued by them, especially with their different personalities and how they dealt with the Saltzman twins (Hope wanting nothing to do with them while Harmony strikes up their friendship). Penelope wanted to be friends with Hope, but she seemed a bit secluded and only left alone to minimally socialize unless her sister made her or Alaric was working with her. However, Harmony caught her attention when word spread around the school that she spelled Alaric to go flying into the quarry by the school. Using a few well-placed spells, she learned Harmony did so out of anger in the twins' defense when he didn't wait for her to get the twins so they can join her and Hope's sparring session with their dad. She did her own "investigation" on her and realized things were amiss, like how the spying spells she placed in their dorm were deactivated, that they were a little too good at magic, or the fact that every time Harmony got angry - there were either rain or storms. Penelope had an idea in which she disguised a dark magic spell to look like a simple one and realized Harmony might be from a powerful bloodline - and very few feel at home practicing Dark Magic. The next time she used a spying spell, it rebounded on her, revealing that it was Harmony who was deactivating the spell and wanted to be friends with her, which Penelope reciprocated.
Penelope and Harmony became fast friends and partners in crime. In December 2020, through Harmony, she befriended the new girl, Alyssa Chang - a witch who magic killed her family and destroyed her house. Like Harmony, she felt a bit of pity for the girl whose story was run throughout the school long before she arrived (which she didn't doubt was one of the Saltzmans' doing) but found the witch almost just on her level of cunning with an explosive temper that she could appreciate. At some point, she, Harmony, and Alyssa establish the Midnight Falls Coven since they didn't fit in with other covens at school and always found themselves amongst school drama. She and Alyssa were also "unofficial" students of Bonnie Bennett, a legendary witch in Mystic Falls and Harmony's mentor. When she was 13, she was Harmony's first kiss to help each other realize they like girls as much as boys.
In 2026, Penelope was in Europe for a family emergency on her mother's side when Harmony's mom died and astral projected to be some sort of support along with Alyssa while everything was happening in New Orleans. Eventually, she had to step back when it was clear Harmony was too angry & deep into her grief for console but they reconciled after the tribrid officially moved to Mystic Falls as Bonnie's legal ward. Once she returned, she did everything in her power to help her celebrate being "freed" of her family and estranged twin. However, it soon became apparent that Harmony was spiraling from missing her sister and took a step back after Harmony nearly died of alcohol poisoning.
When she was 15, she fell in love with Josie Saltzman and dated her for a year, much to her friends' and Lizzie's disapproval. Partially due to Josie focusing too much of her attention on Lizzie, too little on her self-interest, and the fact that Josie holds responsibility for humiliating Harmony, they eventually broke up.
However, Penelope's biggest weaknesses are her big heart and her blind spot for loved ones. She tries to get others to see Josie as a victim of Lizzie and not the other way around and is willing to do anything to help her (or her loved ones) reach their goals.
Personality
Penelope is described as being "evil" by a couple of her classmates and doesn't refute it. However, this could just be because she let down someone she knew and it hardened her to make sure she'd do everythingbshe couldnnot to make that same mistake again. It is shown that she is knowledgeable in the art of witchcraft being her teacher asked her to demonstrate how a spell could go awry. Also, Penelope seems to be quite popular and has an outgoing personality with her friends. She is also shown to be quite flirty. Later on, in a conversation with Lizzie, she implies that the reason for her breakup with Josie was because Josie couldn't truly be happy with her, while caring for Lizzie's problems and that she is willing to ruin Lizzie for the way she treats her twin. While not excusing her, this reveals that she cares about Josie in her way.
However, amongst those she holds closely (her mom, Harmony, Alyssa, etc.) she can let down her mask and be herself. Her honesty is still charismatically blunt, but she does have a strong sense of empathy, moral justice, and family. Such as when she attempted to help Landon be with Rafael before his memories were compelled away, helping Dana stay alive by creating a prison world, helping her friends deal with traumas that haunt them, or "righteous revenge" for those who wrong her loved ones (another factor in her breakup with Josie).
Penelope's proud of her Southeast Asian heritage & collects memorabilia and knowledge as it reminds her of her dad and his birthplace: Java, Indonesia. Because of this, she also recognizes the hypocrisy in the idea that she knows more Supernatural History regarding European and North American history than other cultures. She also won't stand for any discrimination amongst different races. As for her English heritage, she loves her mom and owes it to her for her crafty spy and European spells.
Physical Appearance
Penelope is a pretty young woman with medium-light colored skin, hazel eyes, and wavy brown hair. She originally had long wavy hair, but her ex-girlfriend burnt off most of it by using magic. She now wears her hair in a bob style. She also has an athletic build and tends to wear natural makeup accentuating her facial features.
