Kade Dallas, case 000432

After missing 5 debt payments Kade was forced by the bank and court to sign a combined 10 year contract for a job rediness training program and subsequently a job as Community Work Operative (in training).

Kade walked into the training compound as per the instructions of the balif and the program messages. Not expecting much work at orientation, but to his supprise, his supervisor came out hauling a bin full of uniforms and gear.

Your uniform include a pair of communal boots. (1) Reflective coveralls. (1) Program Reflective jacket for traveling, (2) reflective T-shirts, (1) pair of reflective pants and used work gloves. When you arrive at an assigmed off site work location, you will be assigned a locker where your Uniform of the day will be in the locker.

For many people, spring conjures images of flowers blooming. For Kade on the first day of his Job tho, spring brings to mind a much different picture: trash. That’s because as the snow melts, it leaves behind thousands of pounds of litter discarded along the highway

The reason why this is the dirtiest highway in the system is because it’s near the landfill, people litter anz trash tend to come out of the trucks as they’re on their way to the landfill.

Kade often spends all day bent down and on his knees picking trash.

As the de-facto most junior member of the team, Kade has the esponsibilities as a roadkill collector is a job that is on call 24 hours per day.

When a roadkill is located, the roadkill collector must deal with both the body and with oncoming traffic – a dangerous feat. It’s gruesome and no words can describe the horrid stench of fresh, decaying, or maggot and blood covered carcasses.

Kade is tasked with removing these large stinky objects. Roadkill duty means wearing additional protective clothing. Often he rubber hazmat suit itself is grosser than the decomposing road kill. The're well worn and sweaty, still damp from the previous time it waa worn, and it smells of months of wearing without washing.

Ultimately the bodies are transported to landfills, composting facilities, or in some cases soup kitchens.

Kade could not wait for this assignment to be over, but there is not much he can look forward to- the next location and curriculum is unclear to him, the work area could be anything.

Kade can only hope that the next place wont be as bad...

Pero es considerado y reconocido como un genuino e inspirado poema que describe y celebra el amor esponsal entre el hombre y la mujer, y que además puede ser leído como una representación del amor entre Cristo y su Iglesia.

Te invitamos a reflexionar sobre este bello libro, considerando algunos aspectos de tu vida matrimonial y de ese amor conyugal que un día los unió y que hoy da sus frutos.

Don y Gozo en el amor conyugal:

"Bésame con los besos de su boca, tus amores son mas dulce que el vino" (Cantar 1:2) El libro Cantar de los Cantares no escatima palabras para demostrar la riqueza del lenguaje del cuerpo, incluso describe su fragancia "Más exquisito que el bálsamo el olor de tus perfumes" (Cantar 4:10) a través de ella los esposos se comunican su mutuo amor, su fascinación y su encanto, su deseo pero también su total fidelidad "Grábame como sello de tu corazón, grábame como sello en tu brazo" (Cantar 8:6). Desde luego, el poema no oculta ni disimula la dimensión erótica del amor conyugal "Tus dos pechos, dos crías mellizas de gacela que pacen entre rosas" (Cantar 4:5), aunque la integra con sabiduría en una dimensión global del matrimonio como don y gozo. en ella los esposos se dicen mutuamente "amado" y "amada", y se reconocen como "hermano" y "hermana". Una manera de señalar la cercanía, la paridad y la pertenencia de su vinculo, "Yo soy para mi amado y mi amado es para mi" (Cantar 6:3). El amor en el matrimonio es un reflejo del amor de Dios, que en su inmensa sabiduría creó al hombre y a la mujer a su imagen y semejanza, y por su infinita bondad los bendijo para que sean fecundos y se multipliquen ¡dar frutos en abundancia! (Génesis 1:27-28).

Compromiso y respeto en el amor conyugal:

El Cantar de los Cantares también muestra el compromiso y el respeto que implica el amor entre los esposos. Ellos se cuidan el uno al otro, se protegen de los peligros, se buscan con ansia y se esperan con paciencia. Se repite varias veces la frase: "Que no despertéis ni hagáis velar al amor, hasta que quiera" (Cantar 2:7; 3:5; 8:4), indicando así la importancia de respetar el ritmo y el tiempo del amor, sin forzarlo ni apurarlo. El amor conyugal es un donarse mutuamente sin condiciones, de forma gratuita buscando la felicidad del otro y su realización, que se debe ejercitar con perseverancia y paciencia pero también con delicadeza y ternura. "...que no despertéis ni desveléis a la amada hasta que ella quiera" (Cantar 2:7)

Signo y sacramento del amor conyugal

El Cantar de los Cantares también puede ser leído como una comparación del amor entre Cristo y la Iglesia, que son el Esposo y la Esposa por antonomasia. Cristo es el Rey que se desposa con la Iglesia, que es la Sulamita, una mujer morena, humilde y hermosa. Cristo ama a la Iglesia divina y humanamente con un amor inmutable y por eso se dio en sacrificio a sí mismo para redimir a su pueblo y librarlo del pecado y salvarlo de la muerte, y la Iglesia ama a Cristo con un amor obediente y fructífero pero terrenal, con errores y aciertos. El matrimonio es un signo y un sacramento de este misterio de comunión entre Cristo y la Iglesia, que se consumará plenamente en el cielo. Por medio del matrimonio el hombre participa en la alianza de gracia y de amor de Dios.

Para concluir con esta breve comparación metodológica entre el vinculo esponsal del hombre y la mujer, de Cristo y la iglesia y la importancia del libro Cantar de los Cantares como parábola explicativa de esa relación, cabe resaltar que el libro Cantar de los Cantares nos motiva a contemplar la belleza y hondura del amor conyugal, que es un signo y un sacramento del amor de Dios por nosotros. El matrimonio es una vocación sagrada, que se nutre de la donación, gozo, compromiso y respeto. El matrimonio es un medio de santificación, por lo que los esposos se apoyan y fortalecen mutuamente en el camino de la santidad. A través del matrimonio aprenden a amarse y a donarse como Cristo amo y dio su vida por la Iglesia.
