BITS AND PIECES

Molly was beginning to regret entering the cursed dolls house with her friend Emma. True they'd been running away from their bitchy bully Madison and her clique and the strange abandoned house on the edge of town had seemed a safe refuge - but some feeling had told her at the time that they were putting themselves in terrible danger.

As they'd entered the old house, its evil magic had taken effect. The girls had groaned as their bodies changed. Plastic skin gleamed as joints became articulated and in a matter of minutes they'd been transformed into living animate dolls. Emma and Molly now looked like toys... but toys that could walk and talk.

They tried to leave, but the mansion also appeared to be bigger on the inside than the outside and now they were trapped clopping around in the impossible maze-like dimensions of the house.

"Oh my goodness," gasped Emma in horror at her new plastic body. "This... this can't be possible!" She reached over to touch her own arm and screamed as she accidentally detached it from the articulated joint with a pop. Then she calmed, realising it didn't hurt and there was no blood.

Molly looked at her friend in shock. "Looks like we have detachable parts now. Just like a real doll," mused Emma - and before Molly could stop her, she had yanked Molly's arm till it came out with a pop.

Molly watched in sick fascination as Emma popped Molly's arm into her socket and pushed her orignal arm into Molly.

Emma giggled, she now had Molly's sleeve of tattoos and she wiggled her new arm with fascination.

"Looks like we can swap body parts now. I wonder if we get out of the house, would this become permanent?"

"Hey! Give me my arm back!"

"Mmmmh. Later. This feels kinda good..."

Ignoring Molly'd protests, the two of them began looking around and finding a staircase they climbed up it hoping to possibly find a window or something on the upper floor.

They found nothing, so wandering around for a few minutes they returned to the staircase - only to find Madison flanked by her bitchy lieutenants waiting.

She and her cohorts were also now plastic dolls. Madison looked like a demented Barbie.

"I don't know how you nerds turned us into these dolls, but you'll pay for this," screamed the plastic bully as she waved her jointed arms around in rage.

But before she could do anything all three girls began to scream as Emma suddenly rushed at them and pushed them down the stairs.

They tumbled and fell backwards, their plastic bodies breaking and falling into pieces as they fell down the stairs. Their heads rolled away from their torsos and other bits broke off as they landed in a heap of bits and pieces.

Molly looked at her friend in horror. "You... you killed them."

"No, they aren't dead. The magic seems to make us invulnerable. We can put them back together again later. But before we do..."

A wicked grin came over Emma's plastic face. Walking down the stairs she picked up one of Madison's legs. It was long and sexy, smoother and shapelier than her own. Popping her own leg off she attached Madison's instead and then grabbing the other one did the same.

"Mmmmmh ohhh fuck that feels good."

Evil eyes fluttered open and the new super bitch stretched happily. "Mmmmh yummy, feels so good to have a new personality in the driving seat. I AM Madison now."

"E.... Emma?"

Evi Love, Glitzeez, & overdue 4" body comparison

The 4" gang gathers to see if their new friends are best released from their prisons by true love's kiss or by a good pair of scissors. (Spoiler: it's the scissors.)

The Glitzeez fairy to the right is Zuru's current equivalent to Sparkle Girlz Minis. I found her at Five Below. Evi Love is, of course, Evi Love, the German equivalent to Kelly, younger sister of Steffi, the German equivalent of Barbie. Unlike most clones, Steffi and Evi have such extensive lifestyles that they've evolved beyond clones into their own thing.

Evi Love is all over discount stores here. I rejected swaths of them at dd's discounts, only to find a Black Evi hidden in the mess at TJ Maxx.

The Glitzeez fairy is happy to be out of her cone and surrounded by new friends! Since she's ambiguously brown, I'm declaring her to be rep for my Middle Eastern heritage and naming her Jania.

Evi Love's face-up is growing on me. The one thing I'm hesitant on is the current trend to give Black dolls Pepto-pink lips. Usually when I see a Black woman without make-up, her lips are similar to her cheek color, which would in this case be a pinky-brown.

Here they all are, looking awkward about making friends but ready for their detailed body comparison!

Without their clothes, it's apparent that all six manufacturers had the same rough idea, but there are still significant differences.

With all that hair, it's hard to get a good look at backs, but it's clear that the Funville and Zuru girls have the most booty, while the Kid Kore gal sacrifices it all for leg movement, and Evi is just flat back there.

Kelly and Lucky are unsurprisingly the most similar, though Lucky has a leg join more like the Kid Kore doll and appears a little plumper than Kelly.

The newer Glitzeez fairy looks a little larger than her Sparkle Girlz predecessor, as well as having shinier skin. Their painted-on shoes are identical in shape. Glitzeez's head sits higher on her neck, her eyes have a more curved lower lid, and of course, she's smiling.

Kid Kore 2002 and Evi Love are the most similar in height, but that's about it. Evi is larger in scale all over, from the size of her head to the size of her feet. She's a grayer brown, more similar to the Sparkle Girlz Mini. Despite being larger, Evi also looks younger than Neveah.

Sparkle Girlz Mini (Ruby) looks more like Evi Love than like her own Glitzeez cousin (Jania).

Compared to delicate Kelly, Evi Love looks larger yet younger. She's also never going to fit into Kelly's shoes.

Unsurprisingly, Jania the Glitzeez Girl can wear Kelly clothes, just like Ruby the Sparkle Girlz Mini.

There's no way Evi Love will fit into Kelly clothes, but I am prepared.

After getting our annual vaccinations, we stopped at Dollar Tree for treats and snacks. There I discovered that the Friends Forever Club has clothing! The quality looks kind of dicey, but something about it just exudes "we will fit a 4.5" doll who's a little bulky." At $5 for four packs, it was worth a try.

Perfect fit. Evi starts her life here with four outfits beyond the one she came in! She could use more shoes, but that's a problem for another day.

The kiddies are starting to make friends! I think I've run out of minis to buy, as six seems like a good number. Evi Love isn't quite fitting in yet, but her head mold has grown on me, and her hair is adorable.
