i know that eventually we will see an end to the horror that’s taken place in palestine for the past 4 months but i fear it will be too late by then. i know how my country behaves they kill and massacre and wreak havoc and then afterwards come forth and claim how remorseful they are but what good is condemning the past when you had the power to stop it while it was happening, or even better having the option to not enact the violence in the first place. i hope the people who have had their hand in this never see a day of peace as long as they live

Okay I said something on main I'm hopping over here cause I need to say it here.

Do I love Taylor's music? Absolutely. Am I so very proud of the work she has done? Of course. I'm happy she's living her best life supporting a man she loves. But many things need to be mentioned. I am by no means placing blame on Taylor as that would be gross and disgusting but I feel wrong posting Taylor at the super bowl without acknowledging the atrocities committed during it. If you don't already know, Israel blanket bombed Rafah during the game last night. They purposely waited until US attention was diverted to do so. They played a commercial about bringing home Israeli fathers while simultaneously murdering over 100 fathers and children. Talk about it. I know that this is the worst and many of us wish to avoid it but I plead of you STAY LOUD. American tax dollars are funding this GENOCIDE. I bring up Taylor not only because she was at this game and played a huge role in the amount of people watching even if unintentionally; but because I am personally deeply saddened by her deafening silence in the situation. She is currently one of the most influential women to western society, if she even just posted "free Palestine" or "eyes on Rafah" she could push MILLIONS to do something. Taylor has made political stances before, I know she is not in charge of her social media presence as much but it has been 4 months since this attack has become a well known issue in the states. If Taylor is staying silent I beg any and all swifties seeing this, USE YOUR PLATFORM. You have a voice and it is valuable. Please call for help because the people of Palestine have been pushed into a corner. These people are human. They are our brothers and sisters and they are being killed. Even if Taylor is silent we don't have to be. So by all means stream her music/tours, make your art, be a community but please PLEASE say something. Even if you just reblog a donation link you are doing so much. I know this is scary but it is an attack and we can help. Learn the names of reporters, learn the numbers, call your representatives, post the links, we're swifties MAKE BRACELETS. Anything is helping.
