factkinic: a kingender related to being factkin/ones facttype. [-kinic coining]

the first flag contains the otherkin star, the second flag contains the diaunthro symbol.

this can also be used for factionkin/faitkin or similar who feel their gender is in some way related to being factkin/factionkin/faitkin/etc or their fact/fait/factiontype.

I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask this, but is there a difference between faitkin and factionkin? I can't find much info on these labels and it's been confusing me.

I believe they both mean "somewhere between fictionkin and factkin!" It would be up to the person which term they wanted to use.

An example of this would be a YouTuber persona like Darkiplier, or a fictional version of a factual person like Assassin's Creed Blackbeard!

ive got a personal question/vent. im somewhere between a faitive-faitkin of the movie version of a well known serial killer. i still feel connected to my name, but primarily only my last name. i kinda wanna use it. the biggest issue is that this last name isnt something that can be separated from the real guy, since its a more.. unique? last name. i guess im just looking for some advice, i feel like a bad person if i want to use my name or face even though im a movie version of the real guy. i just really dont want to be a bad person. understandable if you cant respond to this or arent sure how, i think i just needed to get my feelings/thoughts out somewhere

I use my name and picture online and im from a movie, NPC uses our first and last name and a picture from the show he's based on, and our other boyfriend, who is a kin of the same guy from a show also uses the name and a picture from the fictional source

I don't see a thing wrong with doing that. The question is really how much you're able to handle. Like the last ask said, people go crazy when they see introjects from factual sources. I can add that you get just as much hate if it's a fictional version of a factual event. If you're able to handle that then go for it, but if not, you may at the very most want to have a second identity that may be able to shield you

Ah, sorry for not clarifying, but, sort of? It's a type of fictionkin- I guess would be the word- where the character in question is associated closer to thier creator than most others, like, say, Markiplier's Darkiplier, or Temmie from Undertale. The character is fictional, and exists in it's own story now, but orginated as a self-insert or persona before.

I've seen a lot of folks say it's too close to being factkin to be a part of the community, and figured you'd be a good-go for a 'community elder' type perspective, is all.

That aside - as far as I’m concerned, it’s still fictionkin, but it is more controversial because it’s the edge of the gray area (the other end of the gray area being things like “the “persona” a youtuber puts on for the camera despite it not being an actual separate character” imo), you are right about that. In my opinion, it still falls into the same arguments for why OC fictionkin isn’t something that’s reasonable to ban - which is to say, “you can’t control your kintypes,” mainly. But that’s my personal opinion; I’m honestly not totally sure what community consensus on this topic is (or if such a thing exists at all).
