Okay okay so he probably only takes off his scarf when he’s sleeping or doing chores around the house just so it won’t be in the way but other than that you really can’t get your hands on his scarf

Which is why today he was just dusting some shelves and after he was done he turns around and his scarf is gone adjfhj

Calls for you to ask if you saw it anywhere and he’s greeted with you wearing it yourself 

The scarf 1000000% engulfs your entire upper half of your body and you just look so cozy in it

Okay so you didn’t tell him about this habit of yours at first so when you two were eating lunch in the faculty room and you didn’t respond to him after you put your head down on the table this man FREAKED OUT

He thought you passed out or something but you woke up after a few mins and you were just like huh? what did I miss out on?

Took him a bit to get used to this as well because in the back of his mind he couldn’t help but get a bit worried every time

Were you sleeping enough? Is there something wrong with your bed? Are you staying up all night?

You literally amaze him considering how easily you can sleep and considering the circumstances

He totally gets why naps are amazing but he’s always wrapping himself up in that sleeping bag before he drifts off

Honestly I think you napping in random places will encourage him to nap with you ADHFIDSF FOR SURE

This man sees you sleeping on the train on the way home and he’s like why not?

Pulls out his sleeping bag out of nowhere and you two miss your stop because you were both asleep 

I think he’ll buy you a sleeping bag as well hehe

He sees those positions that you fall asleep in and they do not look very friendly for your joints

Surprises you with a sleeping bag and it’s like the comfiest thing on Earth

HI ANON love the character choice because I do lowkey be biased when it comes to Aizawa ....

Anyways here it is I hope you like it !! I honestly have no idea how I was able to incorporate ANGST into such an upbeat song like this one smh

Shouta Aizawa [fluff + smidge of angst]: Song: Positions - Ariana Grande 

Word count: 610 words Warnings: Very slight mentions of death Summary: Shota’s lost sight of what really matters.

I did some research on this song and the word “positions” has two meanings, one of which means taking multiple roles in the relationship (e.g. being the ‘money-maker’ AND caregiver, breaking the gender stereotypes)

So I think that it’s fitting to have Shota be someone who over-contributes in a relationship in this piece 

He’s lost a lot of people throughout his lifetime and he wishes that he would have treated them better / spent more time with them, which leads to him over-giving and overworking himself

But of course you’re always there to make it better

“Breakfast is ready,” Shota greets you with a smile and a forehead kiss, leading you into the kitchen. He’s set up a variety of breakfast foods out in front of you, from pancakes to blueberry waffles. 

“Morning. Thanks for making breakfast,” you smile at him before taking a sip of coffee which he made for you as well. 

“No big deal,” he reassures you, taking off the apron. “After work I’m going to go buy the groceries and make dinner yeah?”

Your expression saddens at his words, “I can go instead Shota, I have today off anyways.” Aizawa’s been overworking himself lately, you can tell. He’s already so busy with being a pro hero and teacher at the same time, yet he still insists on spoiling you whenever he has the chance. 

“No worries,” he shakes off your concern a little too quickly for your liking. “You just enjoy yourself for the day. 

And so you do, napping on the couch, taking a nice bubble bath, talking a walk around the neighborhood, your entire day was nothing but relaxing. Except the one voice in the back of your head worrying about Shota. 

Sitting on the couch scrolling mindlessly through your phone while the television plays in the background, you hear the clinging of keys on the other side of the door signifying that Aizawa had just gotten home. You didn’t even realize the sun had started to set, but regardless, it was good to know Shota had gotten home safe. 

“M’back,” he smiles at you. He’s tired. You can tell. Maybe even exhausted. The way that he moves around gives it all away. Must’ve been a long day at school, you think to yourself. “I got the groceries, as planned.”

“Shota,” you call for him sternly, standing up from the couch, “let me cook tonight.” 

“Nono,” he doesn’t even look in your direction before walking into the kitchen, “it’s your day off, you just keep relaxing. Don’t worry about me.”

“I insist, you’re already so tired. Come on, I can do it.”

You’ve joined him in the kitchen, hand grabbing his wrists to stop him from picking up whatever vegetables he bought from the plastic bag. 

“Y/N I said I’m fine. Let me do this.”

“I know you’re tired. Why can’t you just let me do this one thing? You’re overworking yourself, what’s been going on with you lately?”

The question makes his head drop and his shoulders slug downwards. 

“S’nothing. Just wanted to take care of you.”

He didn’t say the words, but you knew what he meant. He was simply just trying to take care of you, treasure the moments together before it was too late. Shota knew death all too well, he’d experienced it all around him ever since he was little. It was the one thing he wasn’t in control of in his life and it was what he feared the most. 

“Shota,” you slowly approach him from behind, placing your arms around his figure and holding his back onto your chest, “I’m not going anywhere.”

S/o convincing Aizawa to get a dog with them:

Aizawa’s already juggling two jobs, so it made sense that he didn’t want a dog 

He’s also more of a cat person, doesn’t own a cat though (again, simply because he doesn’t have time)

When you bring up the idea that you want to adopt a dog with him he’s very unsure of it

The fact that he’s already so busy just means that you’ll be the one mostly taking care of the dog, and he thinks that just wouldn’t be fair for you

It’s not a commitment thing, he’s totally on board with sharing the responsibility with you, but he already knows that you’ll be doing the heavy lifting if a dog joined the picture

But honestly, you didn’t care because you’ve been having an eye on this dog at the shelter for a long time now, and you wanted another addition to the little family that consisted of you and Aizawa

He explains why he doesn’t think getting a dog is the best idea and you hear him out at first but then you bring our your little pouty face with those teary eyes and he give in immediately

Rolls his eyes and smirks, followed by a “fine....”

You’re over the moon when he agrees and start telling him about the dog you’re interested in

Okay so fast forward to adoption day yeah the entire day he’s acting grumpy as if he still doesn’t want to go along with it (but you both know that’s just an act) 

When y’all arrive at the shelter he’s got heart eyes IMMEDIATELY and his demeanour just does a 180 degrees turn and he’s like yup this dog is it this is the love of our life 

Warms up to the dog very quickly (it’s actually quite funny)

Often he thinks about how thankful he is that you convinced him to get a dog with you because coming home to the two of you has become his favourite part of the day <3

Word count: 955 words Warnings: None  Summary: Aizawa hates coffee but maybe a little bit less after a barista catches his eye ;))

The sweet yet bitter aroma of coffee in the warm air fills Shota’s lungs to the brim the moment he walks in. As someone who preferred to consume jelly packets rather than coffee, it would be an understatement to say he did not want to be here. But since he was a man who stayed true to his words, he let Midnight and Present Mic drag him to this new café that opened up on school grounds. 

The café has definitely gained an insane amount of popularity in a short amount of time. With all staff and students forced to move into the U.A. dorms due to the villain attacks, Principal Nezu wanted to ease the stress with a new food court. 

Making their way further into the crowded space, Aizawa kept his head low and let his hair cover his face. He hated large crowds more than anything. After he took a seat at the table that Hizashi got, the tired teacher suddenly perked his head up at the sight of you. 

He couldn’t help but stare at you. The barista behind the counter. With your bright smile and red apron, there you were just a few meters away from him greeting new customers and taking their orders. 

“Shota we’re gonna go order what would you like?” Midnight’s voice snaps him out of his trance. 

“Um,” his mind scrambled from discovering your existence, "I’ll just have whatever you’re having,” he couldn’t think of something to respond with. 

The rest of the time he spent at the café passed by faster than he’d like to admit. Nezu needs to extend lunch hours, he complains in his head as he gives you one last glance before making his way out the door. 

You were stuck inside his head for the rest of the week, if Shota wasn’t mentally exhausted enough from being a pro hero and teacher at once, he was definitely worn out now after daydreaming about you all day. He didn’t even know your name! He would remind himself. How could he be so crazy about someone just from looking at them? 

As the next week came around, he knew he had to do something about this little obsession. 

“You wanna what?” Midnight says in shock. The three now at the teachers lounge during lunch hours.

“I wanna go back to that café again,” Shota admits to his friends.

“And you want us to come with you?” Hizashi asks for clarification, to which Aizawa nods. “I’m on lunch patrol this week, but you can go with Midnight.”

“Why do you want to go anyways?” Nemuri adds, “I thought you hated crowded places? And coffee?” 

The dark haired man responds with a shrug, he can’t have them know what’s going on yet. 

There he is again, you say to yourself. The teachers known as pro hero Eraser and Midnight have become frequent customers lately and Aizawa doesn’t fail to catch your attention every time. As much as you’d like to hope he’s coming in to see you, your minds convinced you that he’s with Midnight. I mean, have you seen her? The conversation in your mind continues, who wouldn’t want to be with Midnight? Unbeknownst to you, Shota’s freaking out on the other side of the room. 

“I want to get to know the barista,” he finally reveals to Midnight, taking a sip of his coffee and then wincing at the bitter taste he still hasn’t gotten familiar to.

“WAIT,” she says a little bit too loudly, “do you like the barista? Is that why we’ve been coming here so often? SHOUTA’S INTERESTED IN SOMEONE?”

“Keep it down,” he loudly whispers, “okay maybe I am. So what?  It’s not like I have a chance.”

Midnight pouts, “why not? Shota you need to know your worth. You’re a great person, you just have to prove it to them.”

She has a point, he reassures himself, here goes nothing.

Standing up to make his way to the counter, your eyes lock with his and you give him a soft smile. God if only he had the same quirk as the journalist who can pull cameras out of his skin, Shota would’ve already taken enough to fill a photobook. 

“Hello! In the mood to order again?” You greet him. 

The teacher buries himself further into his scarf to hide the pink tint forming on his cheeks, “y-yes.”

“Great! What would you like?” He freezes in place at the question. Shota didn’t think he would actually make it this far as to talk to you, so much so that he has no idea what he even wants to order. Glancing between you and the countertop in embarrassment, he tries to straighten out the messy thoughts in his mind. 

“Y-you,” he blurts out. Oh no. He braces himself for your response, this is the end. 

“Huh?” You tilt your head and raise an eyebrow, “Are you flirting with me?”

Shota swears he’s never been in more of an awkward situation in his life, “yes,” he answers, keeping his head down from the same situation. That is, until you begin chuckling. 

“You had your eye on me the whole time? I thought you were already with that other teacher you always come in with!”

Aizawa’s eyes finally meet yours, “who, Midnight? She joins me for emotional support,” he laughs at himself. 

“Is she really ‘just a friend’?”

“Yes,” Shota nods, a little bit too aggressively, “positive.”

A few moments later, Midnight watches as Eraser practically prances back to their table with a grin on his face. “How did it go?” She asks in excitement. 

Shota doesn’t respond, simply turns his coffee cup to reveal your number written on the sleeve.
