Fables await within the fog. 

In the town of Nowhere, fact and fiction are often not as separate as they may seem. The descendants of farm dwelling cats brought in to control rodent populations now run rampant through the remnants of a once bustling community. Long since abandoned by twolegs, the ghost town of Nowhere belongs entirely to its feline residents now, and despite the hardships they have faced as a result of the frequent flooding and persistent danger that the town hurls their way, they have made it their own.

Not everything is bound to last forever, though. Recent struggles within Nowhere have made its occupants question whether or not they truly can hold strong through the troubles plaguing them, and some have begun to contemplate the idea of turning towards outside sources for assistance. Unbeknownst to them, of course, FogClan lingers not far off, merely waiting to be found.

When the cats of Nowhere come together with the warriors of FogClan, what new stories will be woven? Discover what path you may tread by joining us for our newest opening, titled Next to Nowhere, which will officially begin tomorrow, April 22nd! We hope you’re excited, everyone! We’re certainly eager to see what sorts of characters will flesh out and fill the town of Nowhere as our applications open up in just a short while.

As the time for our Next to Nowhere opening draws closer, we’d like to take the opportunity to present to our followers the array of adoptable characters that will be available for any interested applicants. Of course, for those who prefer making their own original characters, we will also have applications open for completely original concepts, too.

Our adoptables are provided as a choice for those who find themselves inspired by characters who come with a baseline of a name, an age, a design, and a general backstory from which our members will build a more in depth history off of. Most traits that these adoptables have can be modified per the taste of their future roleplayer, though we’d like to ask potential applicants to work with the baseline they are given! Consider it a “starting point” from which you will write a more detailed application.

Our last adoptable of the day is...

Jinx

16 moons | Any Gender A mostly-white cat with brown tabby markings, pale green eyes, and a stump tail.

For some cats, misfortune never seems far away. Jinx is quite certain that bad luck has become them, and more than that, believes themself to be a bad luck charm. Raised as the only kit of a traveling loner, Jinx’s kithood was one riddled with paranoia prattled back to them by their parent. They were warned against becoming the very thing that they did — a curse, a jinx — for the moment that they and their parent set their paws in the town of Nowhere, Jinx is certain that they brought doom down upon the town.

After all, the very same day that they arrived, so did a flood that claimed the lives of many cats. Once the water went away, they realized their parent had gone missing, and so Jinx took on the name that they bear now to serve as a reminder of what they were. The cats of Nowhere have been kind to them thus far, teaching them fables and giving them a place to live, but even with Hecate paying them a great deal of her attention, Jinx struggles to feel like they will ever make up for the tragedy that they are certain they caused.

If you are interested in playing Jinx, keep an eye out for applications opening soon! When we release our official opening post, we will provide a document that goes into further detail regarding Jinx’s history, alongside the stories of our remaining adoptables. We hope you are all excited to get to know the cats of Nowhere even further!
