📽 THE 355 📽 TobiView 👭 Das Kinojahr 2022 beginnt verhalten. Erst der solide, wenn auch unterhaltsame, aber leider nur wenig mit den Vorgängerfilmen vereinheitlichte “The King’s Man“ und jetzt THE 355. 💾 Nach kurzer Zeit war für mich bereits klar, die Mischung aus “Mission: Impossible“, den “Bourne“-Filmen und “Charlies Angels“ nimmt sich leider zu ernst. Keine der weiblichen Hauptdarstellerinnen füllt ihre jeweilige Rolle mit der notwendigen Energie, um glaubhaft zu wirken. Lediglich Diane Kruger konnte mich im Ansatz überzeugen – ihr habe ich am ehesten die taffe Agentin abgekauft. Im ansonsten relativ namhaft besetzten Projekt sticht keiner der Protagonisten wirklich aus dem Cast heraus. 💍 Die Story ist seicht, von vielen Genrevertretern abgekupfert und rund um das typische MacGuffin herumgesponnen, von dem eine tierische Gefahr ausgeht, die im schlimmsten Fall natürlich – wie sollte es auch anders sein, im 3. Weltkrieg gipfeln würde. 👗 Die passablen Actionsequenzen sind recht gut inszeniert, allerdings reicht dies nicht aus, um Fundament genug für einen vernünftigen Film zu sein. Am besten hat mir das schon fast mitreißende Ende… nein halt – das Ende war furchtbar – der finale Shootout vor dem eigentlichen Ende gefallen, dem man solide Kampfchoreografie und gute Stuntkoordination zuschreiben muss. 💥 Abgesehen vom schwankenden Pacing, das leider zur ein oder andere unnötigen Länge führt, ist der meilenweit gegen den Wind zu riechende Twist ein weiterer persönlicher Kritikpunkt, der mir den Filmgenuss zusätzlich vermiest hat. 3️⃣5️⃣5️⃣ THE 355 ist die erste filmische Enttäuschung im noch sehr jungen Jahr 2022.
