SPOILERS FOR THE MARVELS!!!!

So I just watched The Marvels in the cinema and I'm actually speechless. I don't care what anyone says, I've actually really enjoyed the latest marvel projects. Quantumania and she-hulk immediately sky rocketed in my favorite list and so did Ms marvel so I've been really excited to see the marvels.

I made a little list of things I was extra excited about from the movie sooo only read if you've seen it or if you don't care about spoilers, but you have been warned:

I'm somehow okay with them never finding a name for Monica. I loved that it was a little thing they kept going for the runtime. A build up with no payoff. Just silly little dialogue.

FURY WITH A BUNCH OF FLERKENS!!

"attention staff, don't run. Let the FLERKENS eat you, you will be okay" that was the scariest thing in the movie honestly. Imagine an emergency happening on the space vessel you're stuck in with a bunch of carnivorous murder kittens and being told over the speakers to just let them eat you. I def understand the level of panic they were in and I think I might have done the "commit die to get out on my terms" thing if it was me.

I loved that the 3 marvels still had their own personalities. Mostly kamala, the way she was starstruck, in awe and absolutely kicking ass the entire time. We can look forward to a lot of Gen z humor and badassery from her!!!

#Diary #So here’s something I remember DEVASTING me for some #I was at the playground with my step sibling. and we were playing this game where we would swing and point out the smaller kids like ‘Thats #my kid’. Choosing babies basically and not much else. And this one girl was getting teased so we invited her over and she sat in my step #siblings’s lap while they swung. Well this girl chats like the 5 year old she was and I stumbled over my words or something and my step #sibling laughs at me hysterically. My step sibling had to #pee or something. so it was just me and this girl. I wasn’t as chatty as my sibling but when the girl slipped off the swing and couldn’t #Get back on. thinking about this stuff just made me feel so damn old (and I'm only 32). like, when I was a teenager I couldn't just look at high quality pictures and especially not videos of any celebrity I liked. if it was music related and I was lucky (whoever it was happened to be popular enough in Germany), I might have seen a music video (and recorded it on VHS so I could watch it again). if it was an actor I could buy DVDs, at least (but that's not that easy if you're poor, and you also had to get somewhere where you could buy them in the first place).
