So I hear it's Lesbian Day so allow me to infodump about my Skylander Oc Ship: Portal Master Silvana x Phoebe the Fairy.

🌙 Silvana and Phoebe have known each other around the time Silvana became an apprentice to Eon especially around the time Silvana was in their mid teens, Phoebe would often be exploring and meeting new people and anytime Silvana had free time, they would end up meeting up. 🌙 They share a love for Skystones though Phoebe was pretty talented at and they did share a friendly rivalry as a result. Anytime Silvana is having adventures with the Skylanders, they would gift her new Skystones she probably doesn't have yet. And card games. They both enjoy a battle of wit together. 🌙Phoebe was one of the only people who believed in Silvana and wasn't very afraid of them and even saw them as more than just a Portal Master, even sometimes reminding them of that. It was one of the reasons why Silvana fell head heels in love with her. 🌙Silvana wears a moon shaped crystal which has a lot of light magic to stabilize their dark magic (just to give them some balance). That was made by Phoebe who took the liberty to turn some magic into a crystal. Silvana gave it to Spyro temporally when he was losing control of his dark form during the time they and the Skylanders were building the core of light and when they were in the realm facing Hecktor. 🌙They became a couple after they with Flynn, Tessa, Sharpin and the Skylanders save Cloudbreak Islands from Kaos and his mother. It did take a rather long discussion about starting the relationship since the both of them did have respective duties. 🌙The only way I can sum this up is that they have a secret relationship but they do like it this way. Though Persephone is the only one who knows about them dating since she did help make it happen. It's mainly justified because Silvana is a Portal Master and leader of the Skylanders, mostly because of that and having the responsibility of protecting Skylands put on their shoulders after taking on the mantel during the time the Skylanders had to make a new Core of Light, they couldn't afford to have romantic relationships even though they had crushes before. And Phoebe is a substitute ruler of the fairy kingdom keeping things running smoothly in the Ancient Woods while Persephone helps the Skylanders. 🌙Boy heaven help you if you hurt the moon to Silvana's dark sky as as well as any of the Portal Master's loved ones because you'll either be bound to a mirror for eternity or be trapped in Traptanium and placed somewhere where no one could find you. Because that's what happened to Kaossandra (Kao's Mom) and Count Moneybones respectively. 🌙 Eventually Phoebe does move into the Academy while Persephone goes back to the fairy kingdom in the Ancient Woods and takes a turn helping the Skylanders by giving them magical upgrades when the Doom Raiders strike. Persephone insisted. 🌙 So at most it was a long distance relationship before Phoebe was given Persephone's job to give upgrades, they keep contact through letters. Love letters and letting the other know how they've been ect. 🌙Discreet dates at night, looking at the starry sky like they used to when they were younger.

🌙Silvana ends up spoiling Phoebe with their cooking which they do a heck lot of especially for the Skylanders. Dinner dates also happen discreetly. 🌙 Silvana is known to be overworked and all nighters is their game, Phoebe understands that but reminders to get some rest and sleep is something she does pretty often. They end up falling asleep together in Silvana's office or in their quarters. Good thing Hugo doesn't just let himself into the office.

Interests & Hobbies - Update post

Hey everyone!

First things first, sorry for the wall of text!

I know quite a few of you have been wondering about this project, if not been REALLY patiently been waiting for it! That's why I figured I'd make this post.

A bit of backstory:

I have, in all honestly, been working on it for 2 years. Except, that because the mod has SO MANY features, I kept making tiny mods that then get shelved because I wanted to get back to the interests & hobbies mod. But obviously that's part of the mod and... argh! :p You can see how I got stuck in this creative loop. And I would then be happy to just quickly make something like a bus manager, or a RPG manager or a thirsty sims mod or randomly deciding to create a sims website (as you casually do clearly lol). Because that was a bit of an escape for me. Though, this morning, I was talking to someone about this and the mod's progression. How I was just completely thrown out of the creative process and that I just didn't know what I wanted to do...

Basically, out of that conversation the following question came, which was:

So, what have you finished already, then? Given that you've been working on it for so long?

So far, I've done:

Assignment of a hobby lot. Sims of that interest will also visit that lot.

Sims will pursue their hobbies inside their house/garden/lot. (i.e a sim with a gardening skill, will garden their garden.)

Your sims can have an interest and a hobby (duh).

The environment hobby currently has a working hobby challenges.

Getting interested in a field can be done through the phone or computer. (or starting on certain items of that hobby).

Your sim can get magazines of that interest/hobby. This will increase their interest each time they read it.

Learn which interest that sims knows of the other sims. Just like with traits. ;)

A way to make it so that custom content items are considered hobby items as you place them down. And therefore give your sims interest points too.

Certain conversation topics can now be considered interest related conversations.

Which... I know doesn't sound like much, but the *amount* of technical background stuff is absolutely insane :p And that took me more time debugging and error fixing than I've ever done with any of my mods!

So with that said. I want, not only apologise for taking so bloody long to get this mod out of the door, but also share what's going to happen next.

So what now?

As you can probably tell, the basics are (almost) done, as well as the basic mechanics. So, what I think I want to do is the following:

Release the mod this year, with the current features I just shared that are done, and all the other features that were in the document, I'll work on separately. I guess, they function as DLCs for the mod? Or expansions, I guess? :p

That way, I feel less stressed, and you get to give it a try! :) In the end I keep forgetting I'm only one person, and I can finally sleep at night lol

fun WHB things- the game really just swapped my mc from male to female and it's like, not a huge issue but definitely explains the dialogue a lot. I just hope the option of manually switching between genders will eventually be a thing in the profile settings lol

If you ever feel insecure or bad about your art skills (or skills in general) take something you created a while back and re-create it.

Redraw and old picture you used to like. Relearn and possibly advance an old choreography you had to learn. Do a workout you used to do back when you started.

Prove to yourself that you've actually become a better version of yourself!!!

Carmen and Tetris

💐Carmen would struggle on learning Tetris for the first time since it was a new change she wasn't used to and being thrown into battles by strangers and friends involving it didn't help her in the slightest.

Unlike everyone, she wouldn't catch on very quickly she has to be told and shown. Telling her, she'll figure it out in a battle would stress her out and make her cry because she would feel dumb for not being able to get it.

Especially when a certain green haired girl from the Tetra Crew gives her grief for it which made her feel worse.

💐So Carmen just plays the blocks away from everyone just to fiddle with them in Marathon mode to practice at her own pace without the pressure though because of the bad impression, she lost confidence battling with Tetris and refuses to battle because she gets uncomfortable doing so. Too bad people insist even she says no especially when Swap is involved.

She'll find herself doing Sprint mode every now and then when she gets confident enough.

💐She's not very keen with Swap especially when she had to switch boards that throws her off. Fusion was a fickle to work with at first as Puyo and Tetris had to be used at the same time but it got fun when she got used to it.

Big Bang has to be her favourite, she's near unstoppable when she plays that mode.

💐Carmen favours the two to three wide method when it comes to creating combos. And occasionally using Tetris. She struggles with T-Spins or other block spins however.

💐Sensory wise, it does end up relaxing her especially when she hears the clicking sounds of the Tetriminos connecting and disappearing when they become a full line. and neatly stacking the blocks before they vanish, it just soothes the brain.

💐Tee does encounter her again and helps her be more comfortable battling with Tetris thought it took a lot of patience and effort as the first experience did sour her chances to have fun with Tetris with others.

Though out of all of them Tee is the only one Carmen would be comfortable interacting with as he a lot nicer and understands what it's like to be to socialise awkwardly. She would probably talk to Ai if she gets the chance.

Though she won't handle being around Ess or the Twins. Especially Ess who Carmen found herself disliking big time mostly because her attitude and how Ess treated her. (Ess didn't really apologise). Despite Amitie's insistence to get the two to get along, Carmen refuses to have anything to do with her.

Carmen wouldn't tolerate being near the Twins because they harass her the same way they harassed Sig, even trying to touch her wings without her explicit permission.

Just a quick update on my presence on tumblr!

I think I just got the majority of this month's done and over with, so hopefully I can focus on sims-y things again. I haven't really got much time to do creative-y things much as I'd like.

So, with that said, if I follow your blog/story/etc pretty intensively, and I haven't shown any interest at all lately, just know it's not you! It's just me and trying to figure out time.

But! I am however, now the proud owner of a driving licence! And a car! :p Driving alone is such a weird experience, I still can't honestly believe it myself that I can, officially, drive places!

I've also been participating in sewing classes to get my novice skills up a bit, which has gotten me a bit more passionate about "upcycling" EA clothes too :).

Obviously there are other things happening, but let's just say, I'd love to have more hours in a day...
