16. When the zombie apocalypse comes, how do they cope together?

forgive me this is so weird but I thought about them making a living of themselves killing zombies for people, Harry because he wants to help people Draco because he wants to survive (killing zombies for people in exchange for better food and shelter) people from far and wide know the tale of the two wizards who kills zombies (Harry) and make traps for people’s home (Draco). Harry and Draco are on a journey to go get Teddy while Hermione is helping with research at the Ministry for a cure and Ron is with her. And maybe Draco gets kidnap by a gang for his skills and OF COURSE the leaders got his eyes on Draco because Draco’s got that look and OF COURSE Harry went busting in and breaking Draco out and OF COURSE that ends up with both of them being confused with their feelings as they pine the apocalypse away. And MAYBE one day they get surrounded and Draco, more selfish than he is coward and he WANTS who he loves to live, pushes Harry to safety while he stays behind with his trails of booby traps to hold them back. After that Harry becomes bitter and angry and the only thing that's holding him together is finding Teddy. 

Then Harry reaches the place where Andromeda said she took Teddy to and Draco opens the door.

The sweetest relationship 

Though, there’s always room for angst

Draco still struggles to believe he deserves Neville and Harry after everything that happened between them in school

And they all have their own trauma and problems to work through, but despite everything they have made it work

Draco is fiercely protective of them and jumps at any chance to defend them

Harry tries to be the rock in the relationship and hold everything together even when it seems difficult

Neville it’s just... so head over heels in love with them, he’d do anything for them

As three Hogwarts professors, they’re lucky to be so close to one another all the time, but it’s still hard to have a private life when you’re in school all the time

They still try and despite having separate offices and bedrooms, they also have a place for the three of them where they can be together whenever possible

McGonagall is 100% supportive and tries to make them comfortable

Hagrid has them over for tea at least once a week

The students, in general, don’t really know they’re together so it makes for some hilarious misunderstandings

“I saw Professor Longbottom and Professor Potter leave Professor Malfoy’s office yesterday.”

“Oh I bet they planned a nasty prank on him. My brother says they’re still rivals but pretend to be friends for our sake.”

They take regular trips to Hogsmeade to meet with friends and family

And some nights they sneak out of the castle to have dates by the lake or in the forbidden forest

They think no one ever notices and just love acting a bit reckless and feel young again

McGonagall knows, though. She sees everything. But she lets them have their fun even if they break a school rule or two

After all, they deserve it

For the prompt; how about Neville who walks in on GinnyxLuna and gets all flustered at first

He thought the Room of Requirement would be empty. After all, the war was over, wasn’t it? He killed the snake, everyone thought Harry died, and then Voldemort finally did, crumbling into ash and joining the rest of the destruction.

Harry had mentioned something about the Room being destroyed, murmuring something about Crabbe and fire and Malfoy on a broom. He had to see if it was true. If his home for the past year had turned into soot and rubble.

Somehow, the door appeared and as he stepped into the room he breathed a sigh of relief. It didn’t smell like smoke, or fire, or ash. 

It smelled like home.

The cots were all there, right where they had laid that morning, before the call, before Harry and Hermione and Ron crawled after him through the picture, before the Death Eaters and the shield and the destruction and the death.

He pushed all of that into the back of his mind, and turned his focus to his cot, to the empty one next to it where Luna slept, and towards the full one next to it where Ginny rested her head.

Someone, no, some ones, were curled under a blanket, and they most certainly were not resting.

He heard quiet moans, and sighs in reply, and hair that looked like fire creeping over the side of the twisted sheets.

“Luna,” Ginny cried, and Neville saw movement halfway down, a bobbing head covered by thin blankets.

Luna. Ginny and Luna. 

He knew he should leave, but he couldn’t. He was frozen, while he watched the others burn with passion.

“Oh gods, Luna,” Ginny cried again, and then her eyes shot open, back arching. Her eyes locked with Neville and she gasped.

Her eyes locked with Neville and she came.

Are there ships in the Harry Potter world that you won't write?

Oooh that's such an interesting question and it made my night even better as I walked out of work tonight, so thank you!

Right, first off I only recently started writing Drarry. I'm new to fanfic (and writing) and have therefore played it safe so far with my (possibly) favourite ship. That being said, I am open to the idea of writing other ships. It's great to be challenged, fun to come up with new stories, and I might discover a passion I didn't know I had. Also, there are so many great ships out there (this ask got me thinking about them and I almost spent the entire ask gushing about how much I love them 😅), that I would love to try and write some other ships at some point, despite being worried I wouldn't do the characters justice.

Out of them all, however, I would definitely not do:

1. Snarry (also Snamione) - I'm undecided on Snape anyway, and the age difference is just a squick for me. Really not my thing, not comfortable.

2. Anything involving Voldemort. I just couldn't bring myself to do that, I don't know why, but it's just a nope from me!

3. Similarly, anything with Grindelwald. Same as number 2!

4. Anything with big age differences really, again, a squick for me, so Tonks with any of the golden trio, or I've seen Lucius/Ginny, or Arthur/Hermione etc. Just one whole lot of NOPE!

I would also prefer not to do Flintwood (because Oliver belongs with Percy in my head 😅), Harmony (sorry, Harry is with Draco and Hermione, if in a her relationship, is happily with Ron for me!), and Albumin (Albus/Minerva) because I definitely see Dumbledoodle as gay and McGonagall being perfectly happy on her own thank you very much, maybe asexual, who knows! But that's just personal preference. All other ships I'd probably happily give a go!

Obviously, everyone, remember this is just my personal opinion, my ship doesn't have to be yours and vice versa. I don't think I've missed any but if I have I will add it on.
