Awhile back I had asked for you guys help in creating a special commission, and well here it is!

I’m a huge dog lover and I always imagined Elain and Lucien being huge dog lovers too. I could see them being great dog parents, and going for walks in the park with their puppy.

I’m so happy I was able to commission @gonzais_

He did such an incredible job bringing this idea to life!

Percy making the gun has a lot of layers to me, various reasons and motivations that stem from his desire for vengeance and his fear, but one I’ve particularly been thinking about today is the fact the gun prevents him from ever feeling helpless again - in theory.

Going through a traumatic experience like what Percy went through, being at the mercy of others, especially in a situation where you are unable to fight back, often develops this mentality of fear towards being helpless. It becomes a terrifying concept. You have to have as much control over a situation and as much power over it as possible.

The List is a symbol of vengeance, but it’s also a reassurance, a comfort in knowing that he can never be hurt that way again, a comfort in knowing he can fight back this time. He has the power. I think this fact especially applies to Ripley, because though the other four all affected Percy in various ways, Ripley arguably had the most power over him for a longer period of time. He can’t allow that again.

I can’t entirely word everything right now - it’s a lost of disjointed thoughts I need to connect.

I’d say this fear of helplessness is apparent in his general behaviours as well. For example, he’s always seeking to be in charge whenever possible and prefers to take the lead, always trying to outsmart others and be at the top of the situation. It’s probably very stressful for him when he’s forced to be at the bottom of it all instead. But I’ll probably wait until I finish rewatching the campaign before delving into that.

─「美沙夜」─  one would think he had forgotten the promise he had made to her back when she was still human. the CHERUBIM didn't usually entertain the thoughts about the past. it felt like a long time ago as well as it just happened yesterday all at the same time. the days she spent with a shackle around her neck, and a countdown until her LIFE was no more. he was still waiting, she realized. misaya realized that very truth the moment she reopened her eyes as the VESSEL when she was first called upon. the way he rushed down to the summoning circle as though he had been waiting. why ? she didn't get it. or, perhaps, she did, but a part of her refused to come to terms with it even now.

                that she had summoned a servant who was LOYAL TO A FAULT. a servant who proved her wrong about her belief that servants would eventually betray their masters. a servant that refuse to give up on her.

                " what a stubborn pup. " she muttered to herself, words breaking the SILENCE between them yet the tone she carried was nothing of a COMPLAINT. there was a clear hint of tender affection others would not detect but the avenger knew that he would catch it. how was it that her words had bound him so deeply to her when she was sure he would be able to run free once she released him from the LEASH she had around his neck. those eyes when they looked at her, he looked as though he was telling her he would never fail her again.

                as though he spent CENTURIES beating himself up over the fact that he could not protect her. she cut him loose and instead of running off, he remained faithfully right where she left him, eyes still looking at HER. his master. she was and still is his master after all these years.

                misaya ran her fingers through his unruly hair.

Discovered pup play of the 1400s earlier this week while reading about an extinct dog breed, the Talbot hound (don’t worry, people think they just became beagles and/or bloodhounds);

This is Talbot and what is thought to be a Talbot hound behind him. I personally appreciate that his robe is covered in a collar (or belt?) motif.
