WAAAAAA Cerberus, as you said, is a ship between Horror, Cross, Dust, and Fell, and I love it 😭

I cant remember who started it but I’m pretty sure I read about it on a Twitter thread some time ago?? My info could be wrong but what I remember from the general storyline of the thread was like

fell and dust are buddies (heh.) and dust visits underfell, but still ends up going home to wait for the anomaly, because he can’t be convinced otherwise.

fell gives him a collar/necklace thing he keeps with him.

he goes back to underfell one time and it’s😭 empty. Reds jacket is on the ground and everyone’s gone. WHICH SHOULDNT HAPPEN IN UNDERFELL. Devestated, dust takes red’s jacket and, eventually, leaves. He’s gone. he eventually gets yoinked by mr noot himself

AND meets horror obviously. Over time they hit it off😌

I remember some sort of thing between cross and dust, I think it was underverse related, where Cross feels bad for something he did and dust is just like 🤷🏽‍♀️ idgaf.

basically those two have a lot of clashing because cross is like. Insecure basically💀 and that makes horror mad because him and dust have gotten really close, and cross is JEALOUS and HSJSJS DRAMA. they work it out EVENTUALLY surely

AND EUEU I HAVE NO IDEA WHEN OR HOW but apparently Red shows up at some point and I imagine it’s either like dust has to be shocked and try to remind him of who he is with the collar and jacket, or dust is like *sigh* that’s not my red eueueu, and reds like YOOO BITCH???

they get to reunite✨🩷💥 I think fell and horror got along easier then fell and cross because of underverse😀 but they work it out and everyone’s fucking happy ok

Anyway continuing from that post about the daydream plot, imma tell you the daydream I’ve currently got going (it’s definitely not passive killermare ship-)

(Hey guys, me from the end of this post is just writing this here, I didn’t mean for this post to be so long but I got carried away-)

Basically killer wakes up in past dreamtale and Dream and Nightmare are staring at him because you know- he just- appeared, and he has that snapped arm. He freaks out a little cause he sees dream but then he pieces together that dream looks younger and the other guy fits the description of nightmare from the past so he’s like, “wait, if you’re dream and nightmare, you still have the tree??” And they’re like “uh..yeah?” And he’s like “you’re not gonna believe this but I think I’ve accidentally gone back in time “ and he then explains the entire future like how goopy nightmare is his boss and how dream is his enemy and also how he himself has murdered countless people-

Dream just is like ‘oooo new friend with wacky stories ’ and nightmares like ‘wtf’ but anyway they let killer stay with them. Anyway next day dream goes off to play with the villagers, and nightmare is getting a little pissy that killer refuses to go to the village to get his literal Z shaped snapped arm checked out so nightmare pretty much says “neither of us want to go into the village but you need to, so we’ll both go” then proceeds to drag killer (who is very much amused by ‘little boss’) to whatever medical place the village has. Killer immediately notices people glaring at nightmare and gets automatically pissed. Anyway he gets his arm bandaged up and they’re walking back to the tree, nightmare is getting a little upset cause all the people around em are giving him death stares or obviously talking about him so he walks a little behind killer cause he doesn’t want him to see him upset. Killer was walking then looked back to see nightmare had been stopped by a bunch of villagers who were of course bullying him- so Killer gets so pissed it’s lucky he didn’t stab anyone and then the rest of the way back to the tree he walks with nightmare right in front of him and he has his head plonked on top of nightmares. Anyway the rest of the days go by pretty chill, on one day Dream managed to convince them both to play tree tag. Just tag, but in a tree. Both the bros found it easy- meanwhile killer needed help just to get on the first branches of the tree-

At one point during this, Dream accidentally snapped a branch nightmare was holding onto and noot fell, but killer caught him. Cue a very embarrassed nightmare trying to style it out and killer dying inside from how adorable ‘little boss’ is, and Dream is just laughing-

Then they noticed a little glitching, Killer and nightmare were discussing what would happen if they accidentally get teleported back to the future.

Next day they get teleported back to the future- future nightmare proceeds to try kill them, Future dream proceeds to save them then cry about past nightmare, Past dream is just ‘oh wow, tall me’ and past nightmare is just like ‘oh wow I’ve never seen dream cry before’

Anyway skipping a bunch of boring irrelevant stuff (aka killer getting kicked out of omega timeline- ) Future dream has taken them all to stay with blue in Underswap while he goes to ask ink what to do. Killer decided to go with Stretch to their equivalent of grillbys, nightmare was socially awkward so just followed killer, meanwhile Blue and past dream become absolute besties. Killer and nightmare get back to blues house, blue and dream leaves to go play tree tag, past nightmare and killer are just sitting by each other when past nightmare gets tired and falls asleep on Killers shoulder and this is as far as I’ve gotten into the daydream, as well as it also being the first time killer realises he likes past nightmare-

Canonically, Killer is supposed to be Nightmare's only partner. And that's how I started to ship them (yes I don't need much...).

I like their dynamic of the Boss and his dumb henchman. I much prefer Killermare to Crossmare personally 🤭

There's a reason I don't post much about them. Indeed, this is one of the most reccomended ships in the fandom. There have even been some delusions abt it by the creators themselves (very funny btw XD). Maybe it's due to their important popularity that I don't draw them together because... I like uncommon stuff!

But it's a very nice duo that is really interesting to know !💚

My thoughts on shipping in the UT fandom

So let's start with an introduction. hello, I'm LionWriter (some of you may or may not know me), author, and creator of the UT au revolvertale part of @lions-ut-blog. This post will have my thoughts on shipping in the UT fandom as a whole. So, these ships that some people in this fandom love the most and some don't like so much because of headcanons that ruin the fun for others. I have been in this fandom for like 4 years at this point. I saw people disagreeing with each other over fictional characters with different personalities and characteristics depending on different takes made by different people.

I get that people have different tastes and headcanons for certain characters but that doesn't give a person the right to hate and harass people for liking a ship between characters that they headcanon one of two characters as minor while forgetting that people can get older whether in reality or fiction. One of the ships that get this much flack is the ships that involve Frisk and Chara because a lot of people seem to headcanon the two girls (yes, I see Frisk and Chara as females. If you have a problem go somewhere else) as children. I don't know why some people either harass, harm, or send death threats to others who ship aged Frisk or Chara with other characters in Frisk and Chara's age range.

There are a lot of factors that determine whether a ship is healthy or toxic, like the personalities, characteristics, and other factors. For example, the killermare ship, that ship is a toxic and manipulative one, why you ask? Because based on the canon info nightmare feeds on negative emotions and what a better way to get negative emotions than sending a pawn that likes to kill to do the master's dirty work.

There are proper ways to make a ship appealing to people by having a story that shows a build-up to both characters as the story progresses while applying canon info for both (if the characters belong to different creators) and, not ship for the sake of shipping. As some/majority of ships feel forced because of the characters' canon info, of course, these ships are made based on fan headcanons that change the character 180 degrees away from how the canon of said character should be. Of course, you can make your version of the said character without shoving your headcanon down others' throats.

To sum up, people should respect each other and, not make a drama about not liking ships. If you don't like a ship just block a ship's tag or block the person making it, and don't be an asshole about it. Also, some character creators don't like their characters being shipped with other characters outside of the characters' story or in general. So, don't be a dick about it.

most of the content of this ship i've seen is basically Epic being the flirty initiator and Cross is just fucking winging it and they both get a good laugh outta whatever they do in the end.

it's a good, cute ship in my opinion. dunno if it counts as a rarepair but hey, it's certainly less common than Cream (it's ALL over youtube. Cream, Killermare, Errink, Dustberry, etc. etc. it's ALL over)

unfortunately i've seen this ship get attacked by toxic cream shippers at some point. the creator of a brude video had to post up a comment and descript specifically addressing the attacks to say that they can ship what they want and if you dont like the ship, just dont fucking watch the video. it concerns me to see people like this all over the shipping communities REGARDLESS of what you ship.

just because a ship is common, doesn't mean it's correct .-.

back on topic, this is a fucking great ship. it's got it's humor, sense, and fookin floof-

while it COULD be hard to tell from them dating to them just being best friends, i think it'd work out either way. or it could be queerplatonic? i've heard about it and i think it's just basically blurring the lines between a gay relationship and bestie thing. if that is the correct definition of queerplatonic, then this could definitely fit it

Overall: 9/10. i have no OTPs since it means "One True Pair" and it's not a ship that makes me jump outta my chair, but i definitely love it.

"A Good Ol' Fashioned Hell-Raising" is one of my current favorites. I've never been crazy about either westerns or the Grillby x Gaster ship, but this story is just so fun to read. I read the first 17 or so chapters in one sitting, and when I was done I was sad there wasn't more. "Hey There, Angel Fins," is a longtime favorite of mine. Kustard and mermaids, what more could you ask for? The social and physical differences between shallow water and deep water mercreatures are fascinating, and the family and school dynamics are wonderful to read. "Imaginary Friend" is actually one of the first works I read in this fandom, and it still has a very special place in my heart. "A Glimpse Into Forever" is another story I read when first coming into the fandom. There's a lot of NSFW, but the author's portrayals of Geno, Reaper, and some of the other characters who make an appearance as well, have strongly affected the way I interpret those characters in my own work. There's lot of feels- fluff, angst, hurt/comfort, pretty much anything you could ever ask for. "Beneath an Aurora Sky" is another story with some more mature content, but it's by one of my favorite authors of all time, who pretty much single-handedly made me love Spicyhoney. They've got a lot of different stories and AUs which I highly recommend  checking out as well, but this particular one is set at a North Pole research station. Although the story is centered around Edge and Stretch (UF and US Papyrus, respectively) my favorite character in the story might just be Red… or maybe Undyne, even. "Despite Everything, It's Still You" is a modern-day human AU centered around Nightmare. Xunshine is a thing and it's nice, Killermare is a thing as well and it's lovely. "Scars Like Constellations" is a Cherryberry fic where the universes all know each other exist and visit quite frequently- unless you're from Underfell, because those in charge don't know how to be nice, apparently. Mind the tags- there's a chapter with self-harm which is pretty intense, but Red and Blue's dynamic is quite honestly adorable. I'm very excited to see where it goes- and while I was grabbing the link, I realized there's a new chapter I haven't read yet and now I'm very excited. And finally, "It's Still You," is another favorite of mine. It's a slightly different take on Dreamtale, with Nightmare and Goopmare as separate entities… but not really. It's a tad confusing at times, but the writing is beautiful and the story itself made me cry, multiple times. There's also a sequel that's ongoing, focusing on Ink and Error.
