ummm 5 things:

1. jannik is an obvious one but also sometimes he makes me very very stressed and unhappy too

2. hozier (also makes me cry sometimes but it’s okay)

3. milk (lactose free variety) I love milk so much I’ve had three glasses today it’s so good. when I first developed the lactose intolerance I thought it was soooo over for me but lactose free/lactase added is good too so I’m so back

4. bread of almost any variety but especially seeded breads. we used to get a seeded sourdough bread from a local baker in my hometown and it was incredible but she doesn’t sell it anymore 😔

5. my puppy dogs I miss them. animals in general but especially my family dogs I love silly little creatures

Oh can't believe we've been mutuals for so long (maybe more)!!! And thank you for remembering small things like this one.

I still haven't written a love letter, I wouldn't know where to start.

I've been close to doing it tho since last time. I started talking with a girl in March of 2020 and I fell in love with her right there and then but like a year later when the opportunity arised to actually send her letters and be more involved in our friendship I chickened out. I got scared, stopped replying altogether which is the worst approach I could've ever had.

My boyfriend now writes me letters :] he lives two streets down but the first time I went to his place he gave me a letter with all the things he told me he couldn't say outloud.

I rambled all too much but yeah, I still haven't written a love letter, maybe I will in the next 3 years!

Solar does not like them upon first meeting purely on the basis that there must've been a reason Clay got upset if he thought about them too long right? And she thinks Viva REALLY needs to do background checks before just letting anyone in- but he warms up to them ^w^

I think she'd get along most with Branch surprisingly- I'd assume they'd spend more time together when Viva and Poppy hang out, and he's familiar enough that it doesn't have Solar on edge, and she actually really admires him [don't tell anyone but Branch reminds Solar of his sister sometimes, and he finds that a little comforting]

Solar likes Bruce but is lowkey intimidated by him LMAO mostly because he was closest to Clay and the one Clay spoke of the most so Solar's like "oh my god this is the equivalent of meeting their parents since they dont have parents . I have to Impress Bruce constantly . Does Bruce think Im weird . If Bruce thinks I'm weird ill throw myself off a cliff . "

I dont think Solar spends much time with Floyd- Floyd doesn't initiate in fear of making her uncomfortable, and Solar would rather eat a car battery than initiate any interaction. Floyd's pretty okay in her book, and everyone's reaction to Floyd's hair being positive makes him feel better about his own hair

SOLAR DOES NOT LIKE JOHN DORY . number 1 reason Clay did not speak of him fondly so he's been on Solar's hitlist since before he even met him . Number 2 reason he also reminds her of her sister but in a Bad way and Solar doesnt wanna think too hard about that. I think they'd have a bit of a heart warming moment when Solar first reunites with his sister and their relationship kinda improves from there

He's a really great dad, and he clearly loves Amy so much! I think he's a really passionate person and once he decides he loves something he's going to give it his whole heart, which I just love <3

2: Amy

She's so ambitious! I love her drive to work towards her dreams, she's not gonna let anyone stop her from achieving her goals, she's also very passionate about things when she loves them, just like Do, which I think is what makes them so well suited!

3: Monroe

I don't think I've ever had a toddler be this happy before, he literally never cries and he's always smiling!

4: Minerva

She was literally only just born, so not much to say about her lol - I guess she's cute!

tips for reading more books!!!!

thank u 4 asking!! not sure im the best person to come to for this BUT i will try my best

- if ur a person who struggles to focus one of the biggest things i think can help is having the book in multiple forms…. physical, ebook, audiobook, etc, so if theres smthn u really wanna finish but ur having trouble getting through u can switch between forms with whatever suits ur level of focus best at the moment (u can get free ebooks of almost anything through libgen and there r lots of audiobooks on youtube or tokybook.com)

- additionally dont be afraid of audiobooks!! i LOVE audiobooks bc i can read WHILE walking around which helps me focus better. i usually dont read the whole book that way, i alternate between print text and audio as it suits me

- this might not work for everyone but i also like reading multiple books at once, three at a time works well for me but i think it really depends on ur preferences. my opinion is u should read as many books at once as u can without getting overwhelmed bc i like being able to switch between them and it keeps me from getting burned out on one book when i feel like reading a lot in one day

- i always have at least one book im reading on my phone in case i ever dont have a book with me, and i think digital/ebooks is well suited for nonfiction or really sense text where u can only read in short bursts, because it’s easier to pick it up whenever and easier to keep ur very specific place in the book without having to start over at the beginning of a long page

- but above all ur reading for u and not for anyone else so in the end it doesnt matter how many books u read !! if ur having trouble with a book probably the best way to deal with it is just take a looooong break until u feel like reading it again OR. just not finishing it at all. which is also okay :)
