Narnia OCs Time!!
It's the my Narnia's babies time! Since it seems like we're all in this mood, I thought it was a good moment to introduce them! (Special thanks to @andromedalestrange and @randomestfandoms-ocs for some fcs, I was getting crazy so thank you darlings!)
Also two little things I feel the need to tell: it's been a while since the last time I read the Chronicles (so don't yell at me pls) and! My ocs are going to be a "fusion" of the books and the movies (Like, taking my favourite things from both and changing what I don't like... Susan not returning at all for example lmao) And! It's me finding a different way to make almost all of them immortal/ageless/slow-aging bc I want them being in more than one movie/book lmao
Last thing, I'm gonna to explain so little about their plot/vibes/actual things so if you wanna know more about some specific ocs feel free to send an ask, I can't wait to talk about them more 🥺
Tagging my Narnia besties @daughter-of-melpomene @come-along-pond @dancingsunflowers-ocs bc I think they would enjoy this (tell me if I didn't have to 🥺)
Nevan Dair - basically Powerful Boy so The White Witch kidnapped recruted him as her little puppet right-hand man (yep, he's a child and there's a lot of manipulation here); meets Edmund and goes on full "I'm going to murder for you" so betrays Jadis; basically immortal (but not really, it's complicated) for the spark inside him; looks like they would kill you is actually a cinnamon roll vibe; Edmund Pevensie ship FC: Kit Young
Tumblr media
Margaret "Magpie" Kirke - Digory Kirke's granddaughter; lives with her grandpa bc oopsie dead parents; enters in Narnia with the Pevensie sibs (and becomes a Queen of Narnia actually); will come back once again with them (and the third time she'll stay in Narnia lol); Peter Pevensie & Prince Caspian ship FC: Florence Pugh
Tumblr media
Elizabeth "Liz" Pevensie - Edmund's twin sister; one of the ruler of Narnia along side her sibilings; will also be the Last Queen before the destruction of Narnia alongside Aine; Aine Meraxes ship FC: Maisie Williams
Tumblr media
Verena Mars - Narnian noble, fights against the White Witch, meets the Pevensie sibs, during their reign her and Susan fall in love; when they come back to the Human World Aslan doesn't let her follow them so she finds a way to become "ethereal"/ageless to wait Susan's come back (is ready to kill Aslan anyone that comes in her way of having her happy ending); basically I'm all we supports women rights and wrongs; Susan Pevensie ship ovb FC: Hailee Steinfeld
Tumblr media
Arjuna - The White Witch descendant, semi immortal due the Silver Apple her mother ate; will eventually bretray her mother for saving the kids she befriended; Peter Pevensie ship FC: Freya Allan
Tumblr media
Avaluna Lohan Kirke - baby born under the Golden Age; wants to visit the Human World so searches the Door the Pevensie arrived with; basically finds it when they found the Lamp-post so she leaves with them and is now stuck in the Human World; gets adopted by Digory Kirke bc how do you explain it to anyone else?; Lucy ship FC: Elle Fanning
Tumblr media
Aine Meraxes - princess of a little independent reign on a Isle on the borders of Narnia; they have dragons lol; the Long Winter didn't get there bc a Coven protects it; gets called for help against the White Witch; is a witch herself; uses a similar spell the White Witch used on Charn after the Golden Age ends; will eventually be the Last Queen of Narnia alongside Liz; Liz Pevensie ship FC: Milly Alcock
Tumblr media
Killian Evada - leader of a secret organization that plots against the White Witch; turns out that is actually a human that found Narnia; comes back on Earth with the Pevensie sibs; Edmund Pevensie ship FC: Thomas Brodie Sangster
Tumblr media
Shivani - world traveller (basically is born with the power of yellow and geen rings); comes from a world that was destroyed before Narnia was born and has lived for non-specified time in the Wood Between The Worlds; the time there made them kind of immortal; ship TBD FC: Jessie Mei Li
Tumblr media
Amaranta Ira - High Witch of Narnia (at least she should be); her ancestors used to be the Second In Command of Narnia's Army before the Age of Winter; became basically the Narnian version of a vigilante during the White Witch's reign lmao; (will probably be with the Pevensie when they come back so she is stuck in England for a long time); Caspian and/or Edmund ship FC: Amita Suman
Tumblr media
Leocadius Thorne - comes from a family of librarians basically; actually, keepers of the list of every Narnian Ruler since the beginning of everything; no plot just vibes ship TBD FC: Isaac Hempstead Wright
Tumblr media
Merletta of Narnia - Aslan's priestess; just a little bit of plot, mainly vibes; ship TBD (but maybe Lucy Pevensie) FC: Ceara Coveney
Tumblr media
Neera Merwyna - siren and pirate (sort of); no plot just vibes; Prince Caspian ship FC: Halle Bailey
Tumblr media
Fitzroy Mahogany - Narnian noble? this is literally "I just vibe with this fc but I have no plot, might scrap them but until then..."; ship TBD (Peter?) FC: Douglas Booth

ghost x fem or gn reader headcannons of a zombie apocalypse AU??? just them trying to survive with the rest of the 141<33
This tickles a little itch in my brain, might have gotten a little carried away 😊
Ghost x reader Zombie apocalypse headcanons
Tumblr media
You'd think in a million years no one was ready for the apocalypse. Hell most people didn't even know how it started. But it did. Cities were crumbling, rabid monsters that followed their hunger for blood anywhere it took them.
You were one of few in the grand scheme to survive. Your parents, siblings, they weren't as lucky. You had been unable to protect them at all. Though after escaping and going on the run with some spares of clothing and your father's pistol in your pocket you were soon to become aware this was your new life.
It wasn't easy having to learn to hunt in one day or find all these tactics to remain silent, undetected, all of that.
You felt alone. So alone...
That is until one day, after having spent two days out in the wilderness with not a hint of prey around and you were starving. Walking through the woods up stumbled upon a camp. A fire was lit, a small pot strung by three bundles sticks above the flame, and something delicious boiling away.
Your curiosity and hunger got the best of you and you toed into the camp. A canopy set up of sorts and some old books that looked to have been torn for fire food.
You were about to look through a cooler under the canopy when you heard the sound of a gun above. "I wouldn't do that mate."
Your eyes snapped up, looking up at the tree tops to see... A man. A large man strung up in the tree by a rather thick rope. One used by professional rock climbers and such. Perfectly sat on a thick enough tree branch to hold his weight.
"I... Apologize... I wasn't trying to- I'm just hungry."
He scrutinized you, noticing the backpack and the possibility of a weapon on you. He flicked something on the hook of his rope and hopped off the branch like it was the back of a horse and slid gracefully back down the tree.
You noticed then his mask. A chilling thing. Considering you had been around zombies the last few years, that was saying something. And my dear he was tall.
"Hungry huh? Got a group?"
You could tell he was very excited to get you out of his little set up and didn't seem to want any meddling around with outsiders. People he didn't know. And in this day, hell you could understand and respect that.
"No... Do you?"
He didn't answer, and probably wouldn't answer most of your questions by the way he was acting. However, he didn't exactly push you away either. He was more waiting for you to get the hint through your thick skull and piss off.
And yet you didn't move.
"Look, I don't work with people, you don't want to be with me. So piss off." He finally grunted, checking whatever he had boiling away.
"Sir, I understand. But I'm hungry, I have no where to go and you look like you could be a good protective companion."
"We wouldn't be companions. Extra luggage is what I call it."
"I won't bug you I promise I'll be quiet, but.... Please??"
He rolled his eyes, tearing down the canopy of the set up and shoving it down into his large duffle back. "Fine. But if you piss me off I'm dumping you at the side of the woods alright??"
You nod, slowly sitting down by the stack of books, your stomach twisting and growling painfully. He looked at you, then his food. He sighed and pulled the pot off the small fire and doused it out, finding a small spare bowl and shoved it your way.
He was surprisingly lenient. Although he was telling the truth when he told you to shut up. He didn't want to talk to you and he clearly didn't trust any part of you one bit.
He allowed you to keep your gun and you stayed out of his way. And you tagged along for any scraps of the meals he would make. Even if he clearly was not the best chef in the woods.
This continued for upwards of three months. Not much changed. You learned his name, Ghost, and he pretty much knew yours from near the start of this expedition.
He was closed off, maybe from the fact zombies were a total 65% percent of the population mark up now. Maybe something else.
Eventually though, you made a small trip at a gas station. Ghost went in to search the place while you remained near the entrance, a meat shield should anything try to get through the door. How nice of him.
You stood by the door in waiting, your little pistol ready for any threat while Simon rummaged through food inside the store. It was dead quiet outside. Not a single sound.
You were waiting patiently until you heard a clatter from inside and a loud screech. You knew that all too well.
You ran inside, your pistol at the ready but Ghost had it covered, letting the thing tear into a chip bag and shot it in the back. And then he spotted you.
"I had that." You pouted.
"Sure you did tough stuff." Ghost roughly messed with your matted hair and you were off soon after.
You were pretty much just extra baggage to him for the most part. Though he fed you, bandaged you, cleaned your wounds and made sure you were always able to defend yourself.
"You solid?"
"I have two more clips. Take them, and use them sparingly."
"We don't have all day, we cross the river by dusk and then you can rest... don't make me carry you."
But slowly his belligerently tough nature gives way to care. Slowly here and there you can point it out. The extra glances, checking you in more spots than you say it hurts just to make sure you don't have a single scratch or bruise.
Giving you extra soup or food of whatever has been made. He's strong and healthy but will ration off, having less than two meals a day has become a normality, one at all was a blessing from God, so he'd give you what he could.
And then after his scouting trip was done, he brought you back home. Simon and his small group were all ex military. I say ex military because despite the weapons there isn't much of one anymore.
He brought you back to an old military base, a barbwire fence with a buzzer stretching high and all around the base keeping it secure.
Pressing the buzzer and announcing his presence the door was opened. "Don't worry... only two of them bite." Simon teases, shifting his gun behind his back as you come inside.
He walked into one of the main areas which lead down to the barracks. Inside were three people around a small campout, a fire pit of sorts made in the middle of the living room with ash and bricks.
"Son, you're back." An older man said, standing. "And whose this??" He watched you intensely, looking you up and down.
"This is my carry-on. Dragged them through the wastes with me."
He nods, walking over to shake your hand. "John Price. Glad to see you're well and safe under Simon's care."
So that's what his name was. Simon. A lovely name.
The next to greet you was a man with a ball cap on and stern brown eyes. Looking like he was far away in though. "Kyle Garrick. Welcome to our... bunker."
The last to greet you was surprisingly a little hesitant. Johnny was the least assumed to your presence. He was all for welcoming people but the current conditions has left too many dead or gone and no one trusted.
"John MacTavish... you can call me Soap though, so you don't get me and the captain confused."
And before you knew it you were given a room in the barracks and a place at your table. They were very nice people, they gave you a job, and split the resources and news Simon brought of his last months mapping. So much had changed since they'd last really gone outside.
Overtime you grew to understand how it all worked. Gaz was a bodyguard of sorts, when you needed to go outside to fix something, get some water to filter from a river not terribly far away, he would be there. He'd go short distances with you and the others, being their back and watching their six.
Soap was more of the tinkerer. He put together traps and levers and fixed up any weapons or gear that needed repairing. He called most of it Guerilla warfare.
Price was the leader, you could tell. He had everyone under his voice and what he says went. If there was something going on outside he'd be the first one out there to see if he could take care of it alone. He went out on food and water runs sometimes as well. He is also resident cook.
And Simon, he did a bit of everything from what you saw.
Soap had managed to get the power back up briefly in the base. Somewhere a power grid was still operational that the base connected to and he got the heaters working. Even on colder when you found yourself alone with a blanket around you, you weren't alone.
Simon would watch. His sleep schedule was still on night duty mode even if they were surrounded by brick and mortar.
He'd even sit with you sometimes. The more you came out to sit in the living room the more he'd be with you. Wrapping w second blanket around you or offering you his jacket.
It was small, but it meant something, to both of you.
Ghost eventually stopped letting you come with him into the wastes. After you got hurt badly, needing a tetanus shot they didn't have, Simon didn't let you go with him. He couldn't. Not because you were weak, you know why. He's just a big softy under all that muscle toned to harsh circumstance.
So you'd wait. By the window where you could see the gate, you'd wait until you could see him coming back. One night even passing out at the window when he returned, and he delivered you gently back to your bed, wrapping you in the blankets.
And after careful consideration, a gentle, small kiss on the forehead seared by the fabric of his mask.
Over the many months and then a year you lived with them you became family. You saw how they took care of each other. When Gaz got sick it was like bees back to the queen as they flurried to help him, and you did too.
He was weak, and you didn't want him to catch anything, so you would gently sit him up.
"Here Kyle, gentle."
Kyle winced in thank you as you fed him the soup Price had made.
You couldn't help but notice also how protective Simon was of them all. If Johnny didn't like the taste of the texture of something Price had made and would refuse to eat it, Simon would help.
"Johnny, you need to eat. Try and focus on me, not the texture. At least eat it." And Johnny usually would.
"Guys... I need to run outside really quickly, you think I could take one of you??" Kyle asked while Simon was already standing, grabbing his gun and escorting Kyle outside to watch over him.
Whenever Price was handing out assignments Simon would take the bulk of the work that had to do with being outside that gated fence. If there wasn't enough food for all of you Simon would cut back so you and Price would have enough.
He genuinely cares for all of you deeply under the mask.
The playful banter as you went out on scouting missions with him when you bugged him enough to let you go increased.
The affection he was willing to take and give like a hand on the shoulder or a hug. Sometimes even inviting you to wrap your arms around him and seek his warmth while laying under the cold stars in the sky.
Whispering to you on nights you couldn't sleep. He always took night watch, no exceptions. When you couldn't fall asleep he'd whisper to you. About random things. Maybe something he did the other day or what he remembered about the world before it went to shit and how beautiful it was.
"Simon..." you whispered back, holding onto his jacket. "I'm scared." You admit, tears filling your eyes as you thought of how you might die out here. This would be the end.
Simon brought you in a little tighter, resting his chin on top of your head. "I know y/n.... I know."
Simon was scared too. In his own way. Scared for himself, but scared for you, for his team. In the end Simon is a selfless creature and you all come before him.
Your breathing slowed, relaxing. Feeling safe and protected in his arms, because you were. Simon had you, he's always got you, and he always will.
Come zombies or raiders, or manic survivalists, anything. Simon won't let it hurt his team. He won't let them hurt you. Not you. He may not say it, but looking back, he's glad he met you that day in the woods...
I do hope this is satisfactory. I had started this a bit ago and came back to it after I posted my first zombie fic. Enjoy egg folk.

So let’s say the three tiefling bachelors s/o is a Drakewarden ranger and the Drake has taken a liking to them. What sort of shenanigans would the Drake and the bachelor tieflings get into? (My own head cannon is that the drake acts like a giant cat and doesn’t realize it’s too big for lap time now)
This was a fun little prompt to write, I just love these guys with various little pets tbh. Enjoy everyone, and expect some more headcanons tomorrow :)
The bachelors with their partners drake companion
Dammon
Dammon and the drake got on like a house on fire
He's the type of guy that every animal he meets just loves him, you know the type
As soon as you introduce the two Dammon is already treating the person sized, red drake as if it's his new puppy
You'll see him scratching it's chin or sneaking it food scraps from the table
It's hard keeping an eye on them both to make sure he isn't instilling any bad habits into your companion
After you've been out with your drake for the day you'll find it eagerly scrambles up the stairs to reach Dammons forge
Sometimes you even dare to think that Dammon might be more excited to see the drake than he is to see you
The both of them have their tails wagging in excitement at the reunion, and it would be endearing if your drake didn't knock over your lovers work equipment
These two can often be found snuggling on the couch, your drake dwarfing Dammon as he calls you over to join them
Zevlor
Zevlor is slightly unsure of your drake at first
It's a silver beast that towers over anyone, himself included, and he feels justified keeping it at arms length
He watches as the beast snuggles with you or happily letting you ride it's back as if it were a horse, and he starts to realise it isn't so bad
It's a slow process of getting them used to each other, your drake a bit too forward and Zevlor a bit overly cautious
You start with having Zevlor feeding your companion various treats, first having him throw them and working him up to hand feeding
Once he's a bit more comfortable the two actually get on quite well
If you're hanging around the house or otherwise occupied, you'll often find your drake trailing around behind Zevlor as he goes about his duties
The drake is quite the good helper, carrying buckets and equipment from place to place as Zevlor cares for all your other animals
Despite a slightly rocky start, the two end up being quite close friends
Rolan
Rolan and the drake have the worst start of the lot
He's very grumpy about having a 'big, bumbling beast' in his tower, but he bites his tongue because he loves you
The two generally try to avoid each other as much as possible to start with, they much prefer trying to find one on one time with you
Until you leave them both home alone one day
You get back to them having a truce and a budding friendship and neither will give you a clue how it happened
Rolan definitely takes advantage of having a new purple drake friend, afterall they're both scarier when together
He also thinks he's sneaky when he gives it quick forehead kisses if the drake is pouting and you look away
Definitely puts on a magic show or two for it if you leave the room entirely, he's always happy to show off to an adoring audience
And the best part is Rolan doesn't mind now every time your drake clambers onto the couch with you both and completely takes over any available lap space

Supercorptober Day 29 “bonfire"
thanks to kmsdraws for the prompts
Kara and Lena share s’mores and feelings on the roof of her apartment.
////
"You know we are breaking like so many laws right now. I am pretty sure like every existing fire code says no to lighting fires on the roof of your apartment building."
Kara says as she paces a little nervously back and forth.
"That's why I have you," Lena chuckles, "you're like my own personal fire starter and extinguisher in one. Plus, who is going to arrest you."
"Alex says I'm not allowed to start fires unless it's for national security purposes."
Lena places her arms across her chest and raises her eyebrow suspiciously.
"I literally watched you heat up a bag of popcorn yesterday with your heat vision."
"Yeah, but did it catch fire this time?"
"This time? There's a story there, isn't there?"
Kara huffs out a quick breath.
"Listen popcorn is scary and unpredictable and heat-vision was hard to control when I first got here."
"Well, I just need you to help me burn a couple of things. It's not like we are going to start a bonfire up here or anything, I promise."
"Okay, but you have to post bail and explain it to Alex if anything happens."
"Deal."
Lena sticks out her hand for her to shake.
"So, what exactly are we burning?"
Kara rubs her hands together in front of her.
Lena pulls the lid off of the box she had carried up with them to the roof. Inside Kara recognized Lex's journals, but there were also other papers and pictures that she knew only really held meaning to Lena.
"I have been made aware recently that containing all of my feelings into small boxes might not be the healthiest thing. But I thought I might start with getting rid of some of my physical boxes first."
Lena looks up at Kara with a small smile, but there is a sadness in her eyes that is hard to hide.
Together they build a small fire in the metal bin they had brought up, filling it with bits of newspaper and wood scraps. Lena watches for a moment before turning away and leaving Kara to poke at the little bed of embers. She starts to pull out the journals one by one before setting them on top of each other. Some other things join the pile, too, cracked frames with old photos of a younger Lena, a few envelopes torn at the corners, a stack of letters held together to a rubber band. When they've all been laid out, she stands up, the cardboard box in her hand finally empty.
Kara watches her for a moment before stepping over and joining her.
"This is a good thing, right? I mean, it's not like any of this means anything anymore."
And she hates the way Lena's voice cracks, hates the the little bit of fear and all of the pain that Lena still has to carry even with them gone.
"I think you're the only one who gets to decide that, Kara says softly."
Lena nods and picks up one of Lex's journals before moving closer to the fire. She takes one last look, flipping through the pages one more time and running her finger over the ink, hesitating for one more second before finally throwing it in. And even though she stands still for the whole time it takes that first journal to become nothing of what it once was, Kara can see the moment when Lena lets go.
The rest follows.
The whole pile consumed by flames until all that's left are a few ashes floating up into the air. Bit by bit, everything gone until the last thing there is to burn is the box Lena had carried it all up in. And then even that is gone too. They both stand there for a while, watching as the fire burns itself down to a small glowing coal.
And finally, when it's done, Kara reaches out and takes Lena's hand.
"Do you think it would be appropriate to make s'mores now?"
Lena looks at her for a beat before she smiles, the first real smile Kara has seen all day.
"I think it wouldn't be not not appropriate."
Kara grins back at her.
"Good."
Kara lifts Lena's hand up, kissing her palm gently before letting it go and quickly shuffling over to the other side of the roof where she had left another smaller box.
"I also brought hot chocolate, she says as she comes back and holds out a thermos."
Lena takes the thermos and mugs from the box as Kara pushes two small crates over against the wall for them to sit on.
She pours them each a cup of chocolate and hands one to Kara with a grateful smile.
"Thank you."
Kara pauses, her mug raised halfway to her mouth and smiles back at her.
"Of course."
Lena takes a deep breath and then a sip of hot chocolate, letting the warmth fill her chest as she watches Kara making them s'mores. It feels good. It feels normal. Whatever that means. Though she supposes her normal is significantly skewed. But it feels like she thinks like it should. Like she always hoped it could. For her. For Kara. For the two of them together.
"Kara?"
Kara glances up at her, a small marshmallow stuck to the corner of her mouth.
"Yeah?"
Lena takes a deep breath and looks up at the stars just visible beyond the city lights.
"We're going to be okay, right?"
She feels Kara shift closer and slides a hand over onto her knee, letting their bodies touch at every angle they can.
"Yeah, yeah, we are."
Lena nods and takes another sip of her hot chocolate, settling back against the wall and leaning her head on Kara's shoulder.
"Okay."
Finds herself surprised when she actually believes it.

“It’s hard for me to believe anything you say.”
there's something one of his eyes want to give the other upon hearing that — quite possibly a twitch, or some kind of momentary spasm born out of annoyance, barton thought — but he managed to rein himself in at the very last second. and thank god for that, honestly. the only thing that that would achieve would make himself look even more suspicious to the other's eyes; as 'normal people' didn't have such adverse reactions to things like being questioned. but hey, barton was already having kind of a rough day before he was confronted by this rando on the street who seemed to have it in her head that he had taken part in the crime not too far away from them. and well, technically, he did. but what she didn't know couldn't hurt her. and that just meant he needed to buckle down twice as hard whenever it came to convincing her that he was innocent.
barton did like to think that he'd gotten quite good at pretending he was something he wasn't, but it seemed like she wasn't buying it. he had to do more than just act nervous. barton had to tell himself that he was until he believed it, so she'd get off his back as soon as possible. there was no way he was letting her take a peek into the bag that he was carrying with him; because then there'd be no denying that he'd done something wrong. though, there was something on top of all the unsavory things he'd taken from that man reported dead in his home across from them only a mere five minutes ago... the smell of iron, of blood, that was probably radiating off of its contents right now was unmistakable. he really should've gone to kill him when there were less people around. but alas, even at ten o'clock at night, gotham never seemed to sleep.
barton didn't realize that he was staring dead into her eyes this whole time until he felt his phone vibrate in his pocket. it was probably matilda, wondering where the hell he was, since he said he'd be back home about an hour ago. it was true what they said about the devil lying in the details however. killing a person might be viewed as a simple thing to those who weren't very educated about it, barton thought, but a hell of a lot of work went into it in reality. you couldn't leave a scrap of evidence behind or the police would be onto you like a dog with a bone. barton then deliberately made himself nervous but an amicable kind of nervous by thinking about something completely unrelated to the task at hand. with an awkward laugh, he said, ❝ uhh... yeah. look, i know how it looks when you're the only person heading a different direction from everybody else in a crowd, but i'm not exactly from around here. i've gotten lost at least ten times today and this probably won't be the last. so, i promise that i had nothing to do with that very — egregious crime you were just talking about. ❞
add a little bit of a smile in to signify that you meant well, and you would be golden. or that was barton's way of thinking anyhow. he flashed the slightest smile to her before he started to feel his phone start vibrating intensely in his pocket. never before had he been so thankful to get a phone call. barton held up a finger while he fished the device out of his pocket and talked to the other one last time, ❝ oh, shit. my bad. that's probably my daughter, so i've got to take this. i'll be over here if you need me, ❞ and just like that, barton walked away from wanda, to a nearby tree to take the call.
he kept his voice super low, ❝ matilda, thank freaking god you called me. i need you to do something for me. i'm going to send you my location, and if i don't send you a text in ten minutes, i'm going to need you to head over here. there's this weirdo here asking me all of these questions about that guy named sawyer that i told you about... you know, the one that tried to blackmail me? anyways, if i don't send you a text by then, just assume i'm in trouble. okay? now, what'd you need from me? ❞ barton glared at the tree next to him in place of wanda.
why did he always have to attract these self-righteous savior types, hmm?

I finally have the time so imma drop some Vice stats cause she deserves it (this is gonna be long I’m sorry)
She’s 5’9 and honestly a little bitter about it cause her whole family was like 6’4 and above
Not many scars as most of the time she’s behind the wheel or in the air
Which doesn’t mean she can’t absolutely destroy someone when she wants too, she just doesn’t get the opportunity as often as the other Taskforce members
She prefers to be on the ground in a vehicle to flying. She’s an okay pilot but is truly a wizard behind the wheel.
She has a very dry sense of humor, so occasionally in the middle of an op you might hear her make a comment about the weather or talk about what’s happening like it’s rush hour in a busy city and not an active war zone.
She is very ride or die, the minute she feels like she’s found her forever home in the taskforce she is down to fuck shit up for any member of her team, zero hesitation.
Her love language is definitely giving gifts lol as soon as she feels like she’s been accepted into the taskforce she’s constantly giving people things, nothing crazy. But she’ll start carrying specific bands of cigarettes for the smokers, she’ll grab food from the mess and bring it to people just so they don’t have to walk all the way there. She’ll have Hair ties for the people with longer hair just in case they need it. It’s her version of showing she cares, that she’s thinking of them.
Her grandfather was a bit of a figiter so he taught her how to use scrap and bend metal and make little things to pass the time, eventually she got really good at making origami with really thin sheets of scrap. After a bad mission those will end up in the hands of her team too, tho not as open as the cigarettes. It’s too close to home for her to acknowledge our load but the team knows it’s her.
And now the origins lol
Growing up her dad was a criminal who helped move “product” for whoever had the cash for it and her mom was not in the picture.
So she lived with her grandfather most of the time. He was an old Vietnam veteran pilot (which is where the teeth came from lol) and taught her everything she knows about machines, inside and out. He was all she had most of the time and loved him to pieces. Her sense of humor, her wit, almost everything she was, was based around him. She did everything he did, fixed cars, flew the frankly death trap of a helo that he managed to get a hold of and fix up. Even did a little boonies racing with the boys when she was old enough.
Occasionally her dad would make appearances, a few weeks at a time and before she knew any better he had passed on some of his “magic” as he called it. Slight of hand, how to make something “Disappear”, how to add some special pockets to things. She started carrying her dads brand of cigarettes in her pockets-
(Lucky strikes. He always thought that was funny. “A little extra luck never hurt anybody” he’d say with a grin.)
-Hoping every time she could maybe get him to stick around a little longer if she was useful. When that didn’t work she’d pack around more things. His favorite whisky, gum, you name it. He’d just pat her on the head and keep moving to greener pastures.
It wasn’t until after he got caught up in the scene and was killed that she saw that “magic” for what is was. He was trying to teach her to be just like him, to take up the “family” business. It disgusted her but she realized this skill was all she really had left of her dad and she could never break the habit. Always kept a pack of Luckies on her, just in case.
Just before she graduated high school her grandfather passed away, it was his time but still it was devastating. He was her everything and now she had no one. So in an effort to keep his memory close and find some semblance of community she joined the army.
She kinda floated for a while, making some friends here and there but not really finding the family she craved. For the most part she kept her skills to her self. The driving and her “magic”. Didn’t want to stand out, to make herself different from the people she’d gotten used to. Sometime in the middle of all that her squad mates noticed her penchant for making things disappear and reappear. It was almost muscle memory for her at that point, she didn’t even realize she was doing it.
One night, they were out on patrol when one of her squad was mentioning wanting a drink and out of nowhere Vice produced a little shooter. Everyone was flabbergasted, eventually someone made a joke about what else she had and suddenly a pack of cigarettes, a can of chew, and two more shooters appeared. After that they’d just ask her what’s on the menu when they wanted something.
Thus Vice was born.
(that’s kinda all I’ve come up with lol I’m not sure how she joins the taskforce so I’ll have to think on that but here’s a deep dive on my girl)

Encantober Day 3 - Tragedy
Hand Puppets
“How could you!” Camilo’s quivering voice carried through the courtyard. “After all we’ve been through! After we accepted you back, as one of our own!”
“Little fool!” Bruno sneered. “You all fell right into my trap. Now I will have my revenge!”
They both turned to look at Mirabel, who held a hand to her chin in thought. “I don’t know, it seems a little too dramatic, if you ask me.”
Their faces fell. “How could you!” Camilo repeated, flinging the back of his hand against his forehead in dismay.
“It’s supposed to be overly dramatic,” Bruno said. “It’s for kids. The two of you used to eat up this kind of dialogue when you were little.”
Mirabel bit her lip and glanced off to the side, possibly thinking something like it would hurt Tío Bruno’s feelings if I told him that I don’t remember that at all.
“Really?” Camilo said. “I don’t remember that at all.”
“No? I had these, these hand puppets, and I’d pin different little hats on them and do all the voices. You two would laugh and laugh. Mirabel? No?" He looked between the two teens, who clearly had no idea what he was talking about. "Oh. Well. You were pretty small when I -- I, I guess it makes sense that you wouldn’t … a-anyway, thanks for the feedback.” He gestured with the script in his hand. “I’m gonna go work on revisions in my room. See you at dinner.” He slunk away.
Bruno did try. He sat down at his desk and pulled out his pen and tried to read back over the script. But he couldn’t keep his attention on it.
I used to say my real Gift was ‘acting!’ he’d told Mirabel when she’d stared, dubious, at his odd behavior. Yeah. Acting like everything was okay. Acting like the things people said about him never bothered him. Acting like he understood why people would ask him questions, and then be upset about the answers. Acting like his decision to spend the last decade living in the walls was noble, and not cowardly.
He recalled the shock and pain in his sisters’ eyes when, sometime after the glow of reunion had faded, at last he’d explained to them what he’d done.
“I don’t understand,” Julieta had said. “Why was it you couldn’t tell the two of us, at least? Couldn’t we have figured something out together?”
“And even if Mamá did know what you saw, what did you think she was going to do to Mirabel, anyway? Eat her?” Pepa joined in. “She’s unreasonable sometimes, but she’s not a monster.”
When he'd been isolated behind the walls, hearing his name spoken less and less until it was never mentioned at all, it had been easy to believe his family was happy to be rid of him. Silently watching the kids grow up one meal at a time, he convinced himself they were better off forgetting him. Now the truth of the matter was stripped bare for him to see. For everyone to see. Could it really be that all his sacrifice had gained was ten years robbed from everyone, including himself?
Ugh. He was dwelling again. He kept telling himself to stop that. Dwelling on a past he couldn’t change was no better than dwelling on a future he couldn’t prevent.
Someone knocked softly on his door. He was torn. He didn’t really feel like talking to anyone right now, but on the other hand, doing so would force him to break his mind away from all that dwelling.
“Come in,” he called to the person, who his intuition (not his Gift) told him would be Mirabel.
She carried a small basket over to his desk. “I  think hand puppets sound like a lot of fun (aaand maybe a less scary way to present your play to kids) and I was hoping you might teach me how to make them? I’ve got a bunch of fabric scraps and yarn bits and mismatched buttons here.”
Bruno smiled despite himself. “The real secret is widowed socks.”
“Ooh! I guarantee Camilo has some. Actually, he might want to learn, too … And maybe Antonio … I mean, the play’s for kids, who better to give input?”
Bruno scratched his beard, hesitating a moment. But then he said, “Sure, why not. Bring 'em both.” The kids would enjoy it, and it would distract him for a while.
A few hours later, Bruno watched Mirabel and Camilo improvise a scene for a giggling Antonio. The puppet Mirabel had designed looked a lot like Bruno’s old Princesa Mariposa. The voice Camilo gave to his puppet sounded suspiciously similar to the one Bruno had performed for cranky old Capitán Gruñón.
They did remember. They just didn’t remember that they remembered. More importantly, he thought, as he eased himself down onto the sandy floor to join the kids, they were making new memories. All of them, together.
He’d spent long enough writing a tragedy. Time for some comedies.

When Ichiro let Flygon out in an open field, Samatoki gave them both a wary look.
"That is the biggest fucking flygon I've seen in my life," Samatoki deadpanned.
Ichiro laughed and gave Flygon a pat on the side of the neck, receiving a trill of delight in return. "Yeah, he's been a big boy ever since he was a trapinch. He'll have no problem carrying us both."
They weren't really planning on going anywhere, but Ichiro had been serious when he'd offered to teach Samatoki to fly. When he'd invited Samatoki out for a spin over the nearby woods, Samatoki had ultimately accepted after a bit of hesitation.
And maybe a bit of light goading from Ichiro, too.
("You're Aohitsugi Samatoki," Ichiro had said, after extending his offer only to be met by a long pause. "You're not scared of anything. Are you?"
"Of fucking course I'm not," Samatoki had snapped. "When and where?")
Samatoki did look like he was having some second thoughts as Ichiro got a saddle strapped to Flygon's back. Ichiro typically went without, but for a first-timer, he figured the saddle might offer a feeling of security.
After a moment, Samatoki did come closer, if only to say hello to Flygon with a cute little head bump. Flygon trilled again, seeming to take an instant liking to Samatoki. Funnily enough, all of Ichiro's pokémon seemed to like Samatoki quite a bit.
They must have had good instincts.
"You wanna ride in front of me?" Ichiro offered. "Might be a better view."
Samatoki came around to stand next to Ichiro once Flygon flopped down onto the grassy field with a happy wiggle, making it easier for them to climb on. He seemed to still be grappling with a few scraps of hesitation, but all that disappeared in an instant when Ichiro offered him a hand.
"I can manage," Samatoki muttered, knocking Ichiro's hand aside. He stepped up on his own and fit one foot into the stirrup, pausing for just a second there before hoisting himself up into the saddle.
"Looking good." Ichiro only grinned when Samatoki shot him a glare. He wasn't out to be condescending. Just stating a fact.
Samatoki always looked good.
Ichiro hopped on behind Samatoki. It was hard not to think about how Samatoki had held onto him just a few days ago, when he'd biked them to the station so Samatoki could make it to Nemu's event on time. It was hard not to remember how warm Samatoki's cheek had felt against the crook of his neck.
And it was even harder not to think about how nice and solid Samatoki's back felt now, when Ichiro leaned over to give Flygon's long neck a pat.
"Low and slow," Ichiro said. "Let's start low and slow, Flygon."
He hadn't really meant for it to be… provocative, in any way, but he certainly didn't miss the way Samatoki shivered when Ichiro's voice fell so close to his ear.
Ah, but now was hardly the time to be getting carried away.
Flygon took off with a chirp. Ichiro could feel the way Samatoki tensed, and he couldn't help but instinctively wrap an arm around Samatoki's waist.
"Easy," he murmured. "I've got you."
Samatoki didn't say anything to that, but Ichiro was pretty sure he saw the tips of Samatoki's ears going just a bit red.
Flygon started them off with a low, lazy loop around the open field, gradually climbing higher and higher. Ichiro had talked to him earlier, about how this would be Samatoki's first time flying, and how Samatoki was a little nervous, but that was okay, because they would show him there was nothing scary about the skies.
They eventually got high enough to crest over the trees, flying over the woods for a view that Samatoki had, apparently, never gotten to see before. Ichiro could feel that Samatoki was still tense; he hadn't removed his arm from around Samatoki's waist.
But Samatoki wasn't just tense.
He was curious too. He did straighten up a little, bit by bit, until his back was almost pressed flush to Ichiro's chest, so that he could take in the sights around them. His breath hitched when Flygon skimmed a little close to the treetops, and there was even a split second where he grabbed on to Ichiro's arm, before realizing what he was doing and snatching his hand away like he'd been burned.
They only flew for ten minutes or so before Flygon set them back down in the field where they'd started. Samatoki let out an audible breath when they were on solid ground again. He wobbled a little when he climbed off Flygon's back, enough that Ichiro was quick to scramble off and stay close, to give Samatoki an arm to lean against should he need it.
But Samatoki found his own bearings, and even managed to smile when he turned to feed Flygon some of the treats he'd brought.
Ichiro stood back and watched. A flicker of warmth, of fond affection, only grew into something more lasting when Samatoki gave Flygon a hug around the neck, before turning to Ichiro.
"…same time next week?"
Ichiro hadn't expected Samatoki to be the one to ask. He would have offered, but this—this was better. This made him beam, bright and bursting.
He was pretty sure it was the first time Samatoki had been the one to suggest plans for them. Before, it was always Ichiro seeking him out, inviting him to hang out.
And this, Ichiro dared to hope, would only be the first time of many.
"Same time next week."

Just One - John Winchester smut
The one where John has been obsessed with killing you but now that he found you...
Warnings: smut, as close to hatefucking as I can write, witch!reader, masturbation (f), oral (m, f), dirty talk, degradation laced with praise?, hairpulling kink, namecalling (bitch, whore), John wants it to hurt, slight size kink (blink and you’ll miss), p in v, spanking, biting, unprotected sex, cumplay, unspecified age gap
Word count: 2.2k
A/N:  This one is a part of my kinktober celebrations. My original intention for this October was to work exclusively around prompts that my wonderful friend @darkficsyouneveraskedfor created for her challenge and dedicate each story to a different friend. My new plan became then 31 days of different kinks, which expanded on a poly relationship with Stucky, as you might know by now. However, some of the stories I started were already truly loved by me, and so I kept on writing them. It worked well because as it turns out, I am fortunate enough to have more than 31 friends on Tumblr, so here is the story I wrote for @negans-attagirl. This most likely celebrates my last time writing for John! Special thanks to my @sweetkingdomstarlight-blog for reading this even though she’s not really into Supernatural! I love you for it!
Tumblr media
I knew he was there. Watching. I’d been running away from him for so long, it felt like second nature now - to look over my shoulder, hold my breath when a stranger got too close. Watch the shadows and see if they took the form of a well-built man who wanted nothing more than to see me dead.
But I didn’t just wait around for my inevitable ending, oh no. I’d studied him just as much as he did to me, prepared myself for what was to come as I fled the state and traveled borders in the hopes of throwing him off. I concocted potions and spells and thought about everything I could do to him whenever he found me again.
Most of all, I thought of him. How could I not? Not only was he my main concern in this life, but the man was just walking sin. And if I were to go down, I was determined to at least go down on him before he killed me.
So I slowly left the diner across from the motel I’d been hiding in for the last three weeks and returned to my room, making sure to leave the door unlocked while I took off my clothes. The sound of the door closing behind me wasn’t unmistakable, and we both knew that. “Feel like joining me?” I asked as I sat down on the bed and spread my legs for his eyes, my hand traveling down my body, playing with my nipples before settling between my thighs. He didn’t look confused, not even for a moment.
This sexual tension between us, it’d never been one-sided. It was there from the beginning, electrifying our interactions as desire swirled in the air around us. I was convinced it was the main reason why he couldn’t just let me go.
He leaned his head to the side, but didn’t say anything. He was too focused on what I was doing, the way my fingers rubbed my clit before dipping inside my hole only to come back up wetter, the sounds of my actions filling the air around us.
“I don’t see why not.” The words sent a thrill up my spine, and without even stopping to consider what I was doing, I dropped to my knees before him, reaching out for his jeans. “Can’t let you get off all by yourself.”
I hummed appreciatively as I stuck out my tongue to lick the red head of his cock, already intoxicated with his taste. “Such a gentleman… even when you’re planning to kill me.” His chuckle was like thunder, reverberating through me and making my clit throb as I wrapped my lips around his member.
“It would be a waste if I didn’t put this pretty mouth to work.” His thumb brushed against my lower lip until I licked it and enveloped it with my mouth, making him groan. “So fucking warm. I’m gonna enjoy filling this hole with my cock.”
His words had me clenching around nothing, the overwhelming wetness that dripped from me now slathering the inside of my thighs, no doubt reaching the floor. It made me desperate to please him, desperate to fill my mouth with his cock.
So I wrapped my lips around the head of his member and began sucking, at first looking up to see his darkened, lust-filled eyes before actually closing mine to fully appreciate his taste, the weight of him on my tongue.
I licked every single inch of his skin until my saliva coated his member. It was a beautiful cock, a cock that deserved to be worshiped. I wasn’t one to enjoy being on my knees too much, but his thickness was just too tempting. I needed to pay it the proper respects.
So I took him as well as I could, ignoring the way tears rose to my eyes as I willingly choked myself on his cock, trying my best to breathe through my nose in an effort to reach his navel.
I wasn’t able to. But he didn’t seem to mind, hand wrapped around my hair, forcing my movements as I slobbered all over his dick. “Such a good little cocksucker…” he absentmindedly commented, almost to himself.
“Were you expecting me?” I looked up to see him looking down at me, actually waiting for an answer. So I pulled away, wiped the spit from my jaw before replying honestly, “Always.”
Because, well… How could I sleep peacefully without thinking about the man who wanted to kill me?
But his answer was a chuckle and an almost condescending head pat, his deep warm voice making me even wetter when he complimented, “Good girl.” God, he could kill me right now. I’d go willingly and happily.
I eagerly sucked him off a bit longer, losing myself in the almost-sounds that I could pick up from his body: the little groans and pants, the way he cleared his throat instead of growling his desire for me. He wouldn’t give in, wouldn’t show his satisfaction to a little witch.
I could live with that.
“Stop that.” His words were accompanied by a harsh tug on my hair, pulling me up until I was standing on my tip toes, my face mere inches from his. “Wanna fuck you now. I can kill you tomorrow.”
The fact that he never kissed me didn’t escape me. This was a quick fuck, it would not be mistaken as anything else. Still, that didn’t mean I wouldn’t drag as much fun out of it as I possibly could… especially considering these might very well be my last hours of living.
“So you want me?” I questioned, smirking at his answering huff. He didn’t want to admit it, of course - that would be recognizing I had some sort of power over him. So he opted to tighten his grip on my hair until I moaned from the pleasurable pain, eyes sparkling in their darkness as he took in just how desperate I was for him.
“You’re such a fucking tease,” he settled for saying as I laughed. “Always a fucking tease. Is your cunt as bitter as your soul, brat?” I bit my lip as he threw me on the bed, already anticipating his next move.
“Find out for yourself.” His expression made it clear that he was doubtful when he tore off my underwear and threw the scraps of it over his shoulder, pulling me to the edge of the bed by my ankles without much care.
He pressed on the inside of my thighs to keep my legs spread for him, and when his tongue licked a line up my cunt, I clenched around nothing, eyes closing for just a second to relish in the barely-there sensation.
“Oh, fuck…” His voice was barely over a whisper, but I still heard it and when I opened my eyes to look at him, he was staring directly at his meal, like he couldn’t believe what he had just tasted. “So fucking sweet…”
He went back there with a newfound hunger, and although I knew he wasn’t doing this to make me cum, I also knew he would achieve that - easily. It didn’t take many of his long swipes over my hole, the twirls around my clit to make me gasp for him, hands flying down to pull on his hair.
I think the only reason he didn’t slap them away was because he seemed to like the slight sting I provided him.
“Fucking cum, bitch,” he growled at some point, surprising me until he revealed why it was that he wanted me to orgasm. “I want to drink all of your essence before I shove my cock into you, make sure it’ll really sting.”
But I knew it was more than that - I knew he wanted more of my taste. It was everywhere now, dripping from his beard, smearing the inside of my thighs, but he kept his eyes focused on me, waiting for my breaking point.
I saw embers of flames when it arrived. Maybe it predicted my death at the stake, but I couldn’t mind it. Not when John was rising to his full height and very easily turning me around to lay on my stomach, keeping my legs dangling off the edge of the bed when he kicked them apart.
I was trapped under his much larger body and I didn’t mind it at all. He shoved my face against the bed, like he didn’t want to see it as he slowly started to stretch me out.
I bit my lower lip as I struggled to adjust around his thickness, and by the sounds John was releasing, I could see he was just as overwhelmed by me and the pussy he wanted to destroy.
I couldn’t believe how good it felt to be ravished by John Winchester. No one had ever fucked me like this before, and I was sure he knew, with the melodic moans that kept slipping from my lips, try as I might to reel them in.
“Those fucking sounds…” He groaned behind me, seconds before his hand landed harshly on the right cheek of my ass, making me whine even louder. “You’re a filthy little whore, aren’t you?”
I was too far gone to even try to deny it, fucking myself back against his delicious thick cock, desperate to cum again, this time feeling completely full of him.
“Who would have thought…” He panted, hips maintaining their onslaught against me. “Nasty fucking witch, such a tight little pussy.” Each word was accompanied by a particularly brutal thrust and I relished in it. I relished in witnessing the great John Winchester get carried away because of my body.
“Fuck,” he cursed after he managed to locate my sweet spot, which in turn had me instinctively clenching around him. “Why do you feel so fucking good?”
Under him, I just giggled, my hand easily locating the spot above where we were connected so I could rub myself to an orgasm. “I’m convinced you’re the devil, little witch.”
Stifling a laugh, I started to move my hips back so I could fuck myself on him, showing him how I liked to be treated - even harder and rougher than he was already treating me. And because I really was a brat, I couldn’t help but taunt, “Do you feel sorry you have to destroy it?”
I knew he understood I was referring to my pussy, and when his hand slapped mine away so he could take over the motions over my clit, I closed my eyes to let bliss take me.
“Almost,” he grunted, a confession I almost lost in the fog of my high. But here lied an opportunity, and I wasn’t about to let it slip away without a fight.
“I mean… you could just keep it,” I offered, barely over a whisper so as not to anger the man who kept fucking me. I didn’t want him to stop his movements, so I hoped even if he did get pissed at my suggestion, he’d just take it out on me. “Use it whenever you want.”
I didn’t get a response from him - at least, not verbally. But he did speed up his movements, pounding me so hard the bed started to hit the wall and I knew we were seconds away from having the neighbors banging on it, telling us to keep it down, but I couldn’t care less.
Not when John was burying his face in the crook of my neck, beard tickling me as he bit on my shoulder to keep his roar from reverberating in the room when he shot his cum deep inside of me.
He didn’t wait even a second before pulling out. I missed his weight on top of me, but the feeling of his cum slowly slipping from my used pussy was enough to give me some comfort.
“Shit, I really opened you up, huh?” He chuckled, rubbing his cream around my hole before pushing it back into me, making me whine. “I’m still fucking hard. Did you put a spell on me, brat?”
I laughed as he massaged my ass, apparently incapable of fully retreating his touch from my skin. “Is that why I’m still aroused?” He insisted, rutting his very much, still hard member against my thigh. “Tell me.”
Stretching, I giggled at his silly accusation. “I think I just turn you on, old man,” I teased, wiggling my ass at him. He took the bait and spanked it, before I felt his weight leave the bed altogether.
“Well, I’m going to take a shower, wash you off of me,” he explained, stopping at the door of the bathroom to stare at me. “You better be there when I come out,” he warned and I bit my lip, understanding exactly what he meant.
“I don’t think I can walk if I tried,” I giggled, but he just tipped his head back, humming noncommittally. Before long, I heard the shower turning on, the sound of the water running down the drain almost lulling me to sleep.
I made sure to leave my panties right next to the note I wrote for him to find when he got out of the shower. Three simple words, a promise: “Until next time”.

Request: by anon “Could you write an Osferth drabble. About anything you'd like. Please and thank you.”
Warnings: Nothing.
Word count: 1,8k
A/N: Here's the first fic for The Last Kingdom Week! Hope you enjoy some sweet baby monk. I might have gone overboard with this story, but I can't help it when it comes to osferth. Enjoy 🌼
The streets of Cookham were bustling with workers returning home from the fields that surrounded the village. Thanks to Lord Uhtred and his fame the once forgotten town had become a stop for every merchant that traveled through Wessex and the workload had increased. And you were no different than any of those other people.
The sun was now setting and it was your time to return the children you minded back to their homes, where their overworked parents would take care of them. It wasn’t normal for common workers to have child minders, normally leaving the kids at home with their mothers, but Cookham was busier than ever and women were working the fields too. And that left you to take care of the little rascals that lived in town.
You had tried to work as a seamstress and at the alehouse, but nothing seemed to really suit you. Well, at least until you started taking care of the kids. You didn’t get much pay since the people you worked for were underpaid to begin with, but the little you got you saved for a new fabric, or a sweet treat or for those times you would meet Osferth at the alehouse and you wanted to prove him that you were a hard working woman.
And how you loved those times. Osferth seemed to always be busy either training or meeting with the rest of what had now been named the “Cookham squad”. Lord Uhtred and his loyal warriors were the talk of all Wessex and a great source of gossip for the entire town. Lord Uhtred and his beautiful wife Gisela took care of the people that lived inside their walls. Then there was Finan, the loud irishman who seemed to bring joy and fun to any occasion celebrated, always close to him was Sihtric, the mysterious dane who didn’t speak much but said a lot with just a look. And the last one was the monk who is not really a monk Osferth.
When you first met him you were trying to learn to become a barmaid and accidentally tripped on his foot, sending a pitcher of ale flying everywhere and leaving you both embarrassed and asking for mutual forgiveness. Since that moment, you had started to meet together at the alehouse every few days, providing you with a nice friendship but keeping all the rules a respectable young unmarried woman should follow.
And that’s exactly where you were headed after dropping your last child at home with his grateful mother. Your heart skipped a beat when you saw the familiar blonde mop of hair sitting on one of the outside benches, and you had to admit to yourself that maybe it was more than just casual meetings at the alehouse. At that moment Osferth turned around and waved in your direction and with a small wave you made your way to the bench, sitting in front of him.
“I thought you didn’t see me, you looked distracted.” Osferth's sweet voice spoke and you had to admit he was right, you almost missed it because of your constant daydreaming about the man. But you couldn’t admit that.
“Excuse me, the children were wild and I’m extremely tired. Must be because of the nice weather.”
“Maybe we should meet another day, I wouldn’t want to tire you more Lady-” “No!”
You hadn’t been able to stop the agitated answer from coming out when you heard his dismissal. You were tired but never too tired to stop meeting Osferth. You could feel your cheeks hot with embarrassment and you tried to clear your throat to diffuse the tension.
“I mean, I would rather stay here with you and relax with a friend.”
Osferth’s face seemed to harden at your words but as soon as the barmaid brought you two cups of ale everything seemed to go back to normal, except for a small curious voice at the back of your head wanting to know why the expression changed.
“A friend. Of course. I enjoy the time we spend together too.” He nodded his head, his blonde hair falling in front of his eyes before taking a sip from his cup. “The weather is really nice so I wouldn’t blame the children. Lord Uhtred told us that the weather would turn nicer before we leave.”
You felt the ale you had been drinking get stuck in your throat but you tried to conceal it with a soft cough so as to not cause a scene in the packed alehouse. Leave? They were leaving?
“Are you leaving soon? You didn’t say anything before.”
“Lord Uhtred just confirmed it this morning. The King has requested the Lord’s help in some negotiations with the danes. He thought it best for us to accompany him since his history with the king is not the most amicable.”
You nodded along as he spoke but your brain was overworking itself trying to comprehend the situation. They were leaving to assist the King of Wessex and they would leave Cookham unattended for God knows how long. Of course the real reason you were worried was not the village, Lady Gisela could take care of it and more without a problem, you were worried about Osferth and you. Was there even an 'Osferth and you' to worry about?
“That’s...great that the King and our Lord are speaking again. Maybe it might help us get resources from the crown.” You tried to excuse your previous silence but it must have been obvious you were deep in thought because Osferth looked at you with a curious face. “And when are you leaving?”
“We’re expected to depart tomorrow morning. Apparently those matters are very important and require us to be there as soon as possible.” He shrugged in a move to downplay the entire situation.
Silence was the only thing that could be heard from your side of the bench, a deep contrast from the rest of the groups happily chatting and drinking. The table was silent but your mind was not, still overthinking every word your companion had said. You were overthinking so much that you almost missed his quiet voice.
“I am going to miss you.” Osferth spoke and as soon as you looked at him again he seemed to flush. “And our conversations. Or friendly conversations as...friends.”
You wanted to laugh at the poor man in front of you. In the many months you had known Osferth you had never seen him that flustered in his life, cheeks and ears bright red and a stuttering mess.
“I’m going to miss you too Osferth. And our friendly meetings.” You placed your hand next to his on the table next to his, not wanting to overstep and make the poor man more uncomfortable.
He moved his hand carefully almost imperceptibly until his fingers touched yours and a warm feeling ran down your entire arm from your hand. He seemed to be the one deep in thought at the moment and you almost wished you could pick at his brain to see what was going on. Is that how he felt every time you zoned out?
“Maybe you could remember me-” “Of course I’m going to remember you Osferth, don’t be silly. You are not going to war, only a mission for the king.”
A nervous chuckle was the only thing he could let out now and his reactions were starting to worry you a bit. If it was only a small trip he shouldn't have been that nervous.
“Let me finish. Maybe if I gave you something that you could remember me by, it would be easier.”
“You don’t have to do that, Osferth. I will remember you anyways.” You tried to reason with him but you couldn’t stop him from moving to look for something in the pockets of his robes.
After a bit of fussing with the robes he placed his closed fist on top of your hand, opening it just enough for something small and metallic to fall into your hand. Moving your hand closer you found a small fragile chain that seemed to have been at least as old as you.
“It’s not much, just a scrap of metal if you try to sell it. But it was my mother’s, the only thing I have from her. I hid it from the monks when I was growing up so they wouldn’t take it away. Carried it into battle with me every time I’ve fought too.”
Every single word of the explanation seemed to make your throat close a bit more and your eyes glossier. You knew Osferth had no real memories with his mother and you could imagine how important that bracelet must have been for him.
“I can’t accept it, it’s so important to you. Why would you give it to me?” You debated with your head shaking and trying to push the chain into his hand again. “Don’t be silly, Osferth. It’s your mother’s bracelet.”
“You must keep it. Please.” He kept his fist tightly closed to avoid you giving him back the piece of jewelry. “I want you to have it.”
“But I don’t have anything to give you in return.”
You kept trying to pry his fist open, all in vain because he wouldn’t even budge. You wanted to get up and hug him for such a meaningful gesture and hit him at the same time for wanting to part with such a meaningful piece.
“You have.” He spoke, grabbing your hand and halting your movements. “Maybe you can give me your promise.”
You looked at him curiously at what his proposal might be. Maybe he just wanted you to take care of Lady Gisela, you knew how he saw her as the mother he never had. Or maybe he wanted you to care for Lord Uhtred’s children.
“You can promise me that once I’m back from Wincester you will allow me to properly court you.” He explained and you felt your heart stop. “I-If you want, of course.”
Courting Osferth was not something you had thought about, mainly because you had nothing to offer. Your parents didn’t have fields or many resources they could offer a prospective husband. And Osferth was a warrior, so you thought settling down seemed to be out of the picture for him. But you had to admit the idea made your stomach turn in the best way possible.
You realized you had been thinking for a long time and still hadn’t given an answer when you felt him squeezing your hand. Could you promise him something like that?
“I promise.” Of course you could, the idea of a lifetime with Osferth only made you more excited about life. “Only you have to promise me to come back soon.”
He nodded with enthusiasm, moving his hands to take the small chain from your delicate hand and clasp it around your wrist. This mission hadn’t even started and you already wanted it to end.

The Stars Are Right
Pairing: ???!Jotaro x gender neutral!reader
Description: Reader finds an old book in their uncle’s attic that seems to be calling to them for some reason.
Warnings: Post-Lovecraftian elements, mentions of relatives dying. Other than that this is just fluff. Also this is going to be kind of long because I got carried away writing it.
This is my first JJBA fanfic ever and I hope it’s ok
You don’t know how long it had been since you had been in this house. The last time you could actually remember being in this tiny secluded cabin in the woods was when you were a kid and your crazy uncle that used to go on long nonsensical rambles was still very much alive and breathing.
Now....it felt quite. Not empty, not calm, but quiet. Well, aside from the sounds of the birds outside anyway which liked to sing in the evening out here. It was a very strange feeling and you weren’t really sure what you were going to do with the house now that your uncle had finally passed on. You supposed you might as well start looking at the things that he left behind here. It was the least you could do to try to figure it out.
Most of the house was close to how you remembered it. It was messy with everything from pots and pans to clothes just kind of tossed around carelessly all over the place. It could have ended up on a reality TV show about hoarders. You could see a few scraps of paper here and there with the weird drawings that he always did on them. You still had no clue what any of them actually meant.
After looking through everything else, the only place you had left to check was the attic. You had no idea what you would actually find up there really. After all, your uncle had always told you to stay away from it because it had things in it that you weren’t supposed to see until you were older.
Well, you were an adult now and he wasn’t really around to stop you anymore. You slowly push open the hatch, making a layer of thick dust fly up in the process.
The place is surprisingly more organized than you thought it would be. All you can see up here in the dimming light of the setting sun is bookshelves. Rows and rows of them that seem to almost make up some kind of personal library. Which is strange considering the warning he always used to give you. Maybe the books were just too mature for you to read at the time or something?
You walk along them, glancing over what is written on their spines to try to figure out what some of them are. None of them are labeled in a way you can read though. All they have on them is symbols that look like your uncle’s drawings. If he liked these books enough to have this many, it would explain why he kept drawing them all the time.
One of them catches your eye though. Unlike the other books which are shelved, it seems to be on some kind of table near the window giving you just enough light to make out what is on it. The symbol drawn on the black leather cover is nothing more than a pink star.
You walk over to it and see that there is a bookmark still in it. Was he reading this before he died? It gave you a strange feeling seeing it just laying there unopened. Something deep and primal in the back of your mind was urging you to change that and you couldn’t fully explain why.
So you decide to open it up and take a look at the contents, flipping through a few of the worn down pages that smell like a friendly used bookstore. Unfortunately, when your eyes scan over the words they seem to be written in a language you can’t read. You wonder briefly what the language actually is and if you could somehow pull out your phone and try to use the internet, but you doubt it will get reception out here. That and the fact that it doesn’t seem to resemble any language you have ever come across in your life.
There are pictures though. Very detailed ones that make you smile, just a little bit. They were drawings of the hills that surrounded the house. The hills that you had grown up coming to visit. Your uncle used to take you up to the top of them in the middle of the night and point out all the constellations. Most of them were ones you had heard of but couldn’t spot yourself, but others you were sure now he had to be making up because of their strange names. Either way you didn’t care. It was something that you enjoyed. Something that always filled your heart with wonder at just how vast the universe could actually be. You didn’t know of any other place where you could see them anywhere close to as clearly. You used to ask your uncle if they were eyes that were staring down at you, watching the world from up there from something really pretty in the sky that made the stars. He would just laugh a little bit and pat your head, changing the subject every time.
As you looked out the window, you figured that you would probably have enough time to go visit them one more time. Just to relive some of your old happy memories. You could easily make it up there before it got too dark if you left now. Tucking the book against your chest, you make your way back down the two sets of stairs and out the door.
When you get there, the last of the light is leaving the sky for the day, painting it with the faint orange and purple tints that remind you of a painting. Now all you have to do is wait. It shouldn’t take very long now. You can already see the faded bow shape of the moon peeking out at you. Absentmindedly, you sit down in the clearing.
The book in your hands suddenly does something weird. It opens, almost on it’s own to a random page that you were not previously on. It’s probably just the wind though and you are curious if there are more pictures in it of the hills.
There are in fact pictures of the hills on the worn down pages, but they aren’t like the ones from before. Instead of just showing them empty with nothing but the land and the sky, there is a figure that is drawn doing what you think might be....dancing? It’s hard to make out but you think that might be what it’s doing.
You get up with a grin on your face, starting to copy the movements from the book as the last of the light slips away from the world. You might as well try it, right? Again, something was just telling you to. It was the same feeling you got when you went to open the book.
It feels good to do them for some reason. Almost like you’re on some kind of stage as you twirl around, moving your arms while your eyes scan across the horizon. It only really ends when you mess up on the last step and end up falling over and landing right on your back. Oh well, it’s not too bad like this. The grass is actually pretty soft and now you can get a good look at what you came out here to see since it was dark now. You laugh a little bit as you mentally trace over the made up constellations that your uncle told you about up in the sky.
But something about them seems....off. They aren’t supposed to be moving like that. Come to think of it, constellations aren’t really supposed to be moving at all! They seem to be...coming towards you? This can’t be right. They’re supposed to be far away.
Like someone slowly climbing out of a deep pool of water, they seem to flow around a figure that you can only describe as surfacing from them. The blackness of  empty space glittering with light drips around them and off of them, covering their skin like a thick liquid falling off.
And sure enough, someone is standing next to you. It’s a very large man with hair that seems as dark as the space that he should not have been able to exist in at all a moment ago, completely solid now and staring at you with glowing blue eyes and a stern unreadable face. He’s wearing clothes that seem as white as light itself. He sighs and sits down on the grass. Something about him seems off. Almost like there’s something behind him that you can’t see but you know is there.
“Yare yare, you couldn’t keep your balance could you?” His voice is deep and has an annoyed tone that matches his face in a way.
You just give him a very confused look. An EXTREMELY confused look considering he just stepped out of the actual sky somehow!
“Um....who are you and how did you just do that?” It was the only reasonable question that your mind could piece together right now. Nothing about this situation was reasonable at all.
“Jotaro.”
You pause, waiting for him to explain more of it, but he doesn’t seem to. That answered almost none of your questions. You get up and let out a sigh of your own.
“Fine. I guess I’ll just go back then. I thought I was alone out here before.” You turn to get up and he seems to mimic your movements, almost like he’s trying to figure out how to do them himself.
You roll your eyes. You don’t want some guy you found up in the hills that saw you dancing to follow you back to the house. “Don’t you have somewhere else to be?”
He stares at you, staying still for now. “No. I can’t go back anymore. It’s going to be a pain in the ass to find somewhere to stay.”
You can’t really turn away from the look he’s giving you. Even though you have trouble reading his face, something about his eyes gives off the impression that he is telling the truth about that. You relax and shrug.
“I guess you can stay with me then. Just....don’t touch anything. I still need to sort everything out.”
He gives you a nod. “I won’t touch any of your uncle’s crap.”
You tilt your head and give him a look before you turn around and start walking back in the direction of the house. “Did you know him?”
“In a way. He tried to talk to me a lot. It was really freaking annoying.”
You can’t stop yourself from laughing. “I can see how he would be. He was a good guy though even if he could be weird like that sometimes.”
He scoffs as he starts following behind you. For some reason his footsteps don’t seem to be making any sound. “I didn’t say he wasn’t. Just irritating sometimes.”
“That sounds like him.”
You walk the rest of the way back in silence, but this time it’s a much more comfortable one. This guy was your uncle’s friend and he didn’t seem too bad even if he was also kind of weird. Being around him made you feel as calm as you would have been anyway with the stargazing for some reason.
When you get back, you unlock the door slowly since it’s hard to see in the dark. “We can sit out on the porch for a while. I think I was lucky enough to find some tea and some mugs that weren’t actually broken before I left.”
He nods and looks around, looking around and sitting on the railing of the porch instead of the actual chairs that are laid out. You don’t even stop him. If it works for him then it works for him you guess.
You come back out a few minutes later with the mugs of tea. You don’t know what kind of tea it is, but it smells good so it’s probably fine. Your uncle never really kept bad tea in his house from what you can remember. You hand one of them to Jotaro.
“So do you live around here? I know there’s some kind of town close by. Also was the thing with the sky....real?”
He seems to be looking out through the trees. Some of the stars can still be seen, but not as clearly as before and you can’t seem to find the constellations that you saw him walk out of.
“It was. If you had actually been competent with the ritual I wouldn’t be stuck here and I would be able to leave when I feel like it.”
You set his tea down and roll your eyes. “No one even told me I was doing a ritual! I was just following what I saw in the book! And you still haven’t told me what’s actually going on!”
Again, you don’t really get an answer from him. You just sigh and take a sip of your own tea, staring up at the now empty looking space in the sky with him.
It had been a few days since Jotaro had showed up at the house uninvited and despite the fact that he still hadn’t fully told you what was going on, you were actually getting along. You had realized pretty quickly that he wasn’t the best at expressing himself and it would take a bit more to actually read him, almost like the book you had accidentally used to bring him here in the first place. But once you realized that, it became easier to understand him. Like when he said he didn’t need to eat and called you stupid for now knowing that, but then ended up finishing the entire plate of food you made for him anyway.
He had started helping you fix the place up without even asking. You figured it was probably because you were letting him stay there, but he had just started doing it without really saying anything about it. When he would do things in the daytime like taking out the trash and getting rid of some of the weeds in the yard (which seemed to be pulled up by some weird invisible force you couldn’t perceive for some reason), he looked normal enough if you disregarded the naturally intense colors of his eyes and his hair.
But at night, he seemed to take on the same quality you felt when you first ran into him. Like there was something murky behind him under the surface like a gigantic fish hiding in the shadows of a pond that you could only see the outline of. It bothered you just a little bit and it gave you a headache sometimes, but you kept this to yourself because you didn’t want Jotaro to worry about it when he was already being so nice to you. You still also felt kind of bad that you were the reason why he was stuck here even if you didn’t know the exact details of what had happened.
Today, you needed to go into town for some supplies. Jotaro hadn’t wanted to come with you at first because he thought that running into people might be annoying, but he had decided to come at the last minute anyway for some unexplainable reason.
Since it wasn’t super far away, you had decided that it would be better to walk there since you didn’t want to deal with driving today. The path was nice and took you right through the woods, letting you see the twisting branches of the winter trees covered in fresh ice and snow that had just fallen yesterday and glimmered like glass as it slowly dripped down and melted. While you could make out the path, it still wasn’t spared from being covered in a white blanket of the stuff. It softly crunched under your boots and left footprints as you made your way. But again, it was only you. Jotaro might as well have not even been there since it stayed perfectly still and smooth wherever he seemed to walk.
“Have you done much in the snow before?”
It was a basic question you were curious about as you walked behind him since he seemed to already somehow know the way. In fact, you wondered how much he had interacted with much of anything before or what existed in his own little square of reality that he had been pulled out of.
“Not really. But I’ve seen it before.”
“Oh?” You grin to yourself, an idea popping into your head. You start to pull bits of snow off of the low branches as you walk, packing them together and rolling them in your gloved hand.
“I’ve been around to see a lot of the crap that happens in this area. That includes snow storms-”
Before he can finish talking, you suddenly throw the snowball that you’ve been making at him and he suddenly stops walking. However, instead of hitting his coat which seems to be whiter than the snow and falling apart on impact like you expect it to, it seems to just vanish out of existence completely.
You pause yourself and look around with a confused and startled expression until you feel something cold hit your back from behind you. You quickly turn around but there isn’t anything there and it seemed pretty much impossible for Jotaro to have been able to catch it in mid air and pelt you with it when he hadn’t moved.
Still, when you face him again, he is staring at you with a certain look in his eyes and you can’t really think of any other way that it could have hit you.
“It seems like you know what a snowball is at least!”
Eventually the two of you do reach the town after more walking and a few more ambushes of snowballs between you both. It isn’t really much to look at, but you suppose the houses are kind of nice. All of the ones in this area are very old with the exception of a few, but in a way where they have their own personalities that grew over the years.
When you get there, you can tell that some people are giving you guys some looks. While they recognize you as your uncle’s brother’s kid and don’t really think much of you because they’ve seen you around before, in a small town like this where everyone seems to know everyone else Jotaro definitely stands out.
It’s hard to tell by the expression on his face how he’s taking this though. He doesn’t seem to be an easy person to read at all. But from how close he’s starting to walk next to you, you have a feeling that he isn’t very comfortable with the stares that he seems to be getting. You hear him mutter under his breath “Good grief, do people really have to stare like that?” and you have to wonder the same thing.
You step into the store and start to grab the supplies you need quietly and quickly. You don’t really want to stay here too long. For now you just seem to be getting looks, but what if they realize that Jotaro is more than they think he is? It’s just better if you hurry.
As you step up to pay for your things, Jotaro grabs you hand suddenly without any change in his expression or reaction to what he just did. You try your best to match the indifference, hoping that it will somehow help for some reason or another. After you check out you walk out the door and he doesn’t seem to let go until you’re far enough away, almost dragging you.
He finally does let go before you get into a more crowded part, looking away from you and pulling the hat that he’s wearing down ever so slightly. He doesn’t say anything, so you just nod in response. It looked like he didn’t want to bring it up again. Instead, you decide to talk about something else. Something that might take his mind off of the town in general.
“What kind of places did you usually like to look at when you were up there?”
“The ocean. It’s really big and I liked looking at the animals when they came to the surface. It was.....relaxing and nice.”
You smile at him. “That does sound really nice. I bet you saw a lot of it from up there. Maybe I can take you to visit it on the ground some time. It probably looks different from the ground.”
He nods at you, and you get the feeling that he might be relaxing just a little bit. “I would enjoy that.”
You had gotten back to the house with the supplies a few weeks ago and it had been uneventful, but also relaxing. Jotaro was adjusting really well, which was good because you still couldn’t find a way to reverse what you did and he was probably here to stay if things kept going the way they were. Not that you hadn’t been trying, but there were a lot of books in your uncle’s collection and you couldn’t read most of them so you had to ask Jotaro for help which always irritated him since your uncle had apparently not organized them very well.
You hadn’t brought up that one time when the two of you had gone into town, but for some reason you couldn’t get it out of your mind. Even though he was just pulling you somewhere at the time, remembering how he just grabbed your hand like that made your heart beat a little bit faster. Were you really growing that close to him? Even if you found a way for him to go, were you really sure that you wanted him to leave?
Currently, the two of you were sitting on the porch with some more warm food that you had made, looking through more of the books again. The one you were looking through was one of your uncle’s journals about the ‘old gods’. Jotaro was somehow able to eat with whatever invisible form you couldn’t fully make out while also holding the book with his human hands, which you figured must be really helpful.
“Good grief, this book is useless.” Suddenly you see it flying off to the side and you let out a sigh.
“Tell me about it. I still can’t read most of these symbols. You would probably be able to though.” You shrug and set the book down, taking another bite of your food.
You wonder if you should have said that, because he seems to vanish from where he is and suddenly materialize behind you picking the book up as you end up on his lap. His body is surprisingly solid, but you swear that you can feel it shifting under you constantly like it has a mind of it’s own and it could turn into liquid and flow away at any time. You can feel your cheeks turn red, but you don’t really say anything. You just continue to eat your food.
“You should have gotten my help with this one sooner. This is pretty much what were looking for. The handwriting is crap, but it should still do the trick.”
You bite your lip. This was it. He could finally go back to where he came from in the stars. He could finally go home. You weren’t really sure what to feel about this, but you knew you should be happy. He wouldn’t be stuck here anymore and he would end up where he belonged. Still, you can’t help the words that slip out of your mouth. You end up saying them very quietly under your breath.
“I’m going to miss you....”
You’re suddenly turned to face him and to your surprise he’s pulling his hat down over his face to hide it. It’s something he would sometimes do when talking to you, especially lately but you still aren’t really sure why. But since you are this close to him, for some reason it is hitting you differently this time.
“I don’t have to leave right now. I can....stay here. For as long as I want. I have a lot of time. That and I would....actually miss you too. You’re less irritating and loud than most of the humans here.” He says the last part quietly and you pause. Did he...feel the same way about you? Is that why he never brought up holding your hand?
You decide to test the waters and pull him in for a kiss. This time you aren’t really surprised when he closes his eyes and kisses back. You swear you can make out something shifting around excitedly in the space behind him as a few eyes stare at you.

A Date to Remember
Damian Wayne x Superman’s daughter reader
Damian is 20, reader 19, Jon is her little brother at 18 and Kon acts like an older brother to her.
Warning: angsty and kidnapping
You’d always told Damian that the sunset on the Kent farm was the best in the world. Damian smiled a little as he drove down the long road to Smallville. Damian had thought about classic dinner date in one of Metropolis’ fanciest restaurants but you insisted on meeting him in a barn.
He felt underdressed. Blue jeans and a flannel shirt. Why did he let Jon help him get dressed? He felt ridiculous but at least he wore sensible shoes. But deep down Damian knew you world like it. And he was certainly willing to feel a little foolish for you.
Clark was off world and Lois was on a mission. Jon had his own date in the city so it was the both of you alone tonight. How long had it been since the two of you were alone without someone around? Between his half a dozen brothers and your family with literal super hearing... yeah it’s been tough. So being 50 miles from everyone was kind of a dream.
Damian pulled in the driveway with some flowers and walked up to the house. He knocked on the door only for it to swing open. Damian noticed the splintered door frame and his heart sped up. He called your name. Act like the rich billionaire son while working like Robin, even though he wasn’t quite sure he still wanted the name.
He scanned every surface and he noticed a small scratch near the back door after looking through every room. Most people wouldn’t even notice it. You weren’t there. He looked closely and saw drag marks in the gravel path to the barn. His heart was thundering at this point. You weren’t in the barn either.
You were half Kryptonian but the genetic inheritance was complicated. Jon had won the lottery with having most of his father’s powers and not being as sensitive to Kryptonite. You had lost it. Hypersensitive to Kryptonite and only some speed and increased hearing and strength. Barely about the average human. You weren’t a fighter.
Damian pulled out his phone to call Jon.
“Bit busy here, Damian,” Jon said, sounding far from amused. Damian could hear kissing noises in the background and frowned. He didn’t want to hear that.
“Your sister is missing,” he said and he heard a lot of movement on the phone.
“What??”
“The door jam was kicked in and there are scrap marks of her being dragged away. I think she’s been kidnapped,” Damian said. His voice felt tight. He, son of Batman, let his girlfriend get kidnapped. “Whoever it was clearly waited until she had no other Kryptonians around to grab her. It wasn’t a coincidence that she was taken tonight. Can you get out here? I’m calling father to try and trace her. Her phone is missing too.”
“I’m leaving in 5. Damian, if Luther has her, she can’t handle Krytonite,” Jon said, worry bleeding into his voice. “It’s like it poisons her.”
“I know. But we don’t know who has her. Let’s hope they don’t know she’s part Krytonian,” Damian said, already mentally moving on to his next step. Contact Bruce. Get the bat computer to trace her. Look for more evidence. Don’t freak out completely that she might be poisoned by Kyrotonite.
“Okay. I’m about to fly. I’ll see you soon,” Jon said before hanging up.
——————————
You woke up with a cough. You head throbbed and your stomach rolled as you laid in a bed? Maybe a couch? It was a horrible feeling but you knew exactly what it was: Kryptonite. You couldn’t forget what how that stuff made you feel. You tried to look around to see it but the room was completely dark. Night vision would be nice but you got human eyes. Your slightly enhanced hearing heard nothing but the wind outside. Okay, you were ground level or higher.
You tried to twist in the cuffs that bound your hands only to cry out. There was the Kryptonite. It was on the outside of the cuffs and you almost threw up at it touched your skin. You were cuffed with Kryptonite to a hospital bed, you figured. What other bed had areas perfect for cuffs? Your legs were equally restrained and you felt so exposed in the dark room.
Your dad was off world. He wouldn’t hear you if you called for him. But Jon might. But if you yelled, someone might come in and who knows what they would do. You’d wait a little bit longer. You wanted to fall asleep. The Kryptonite made you feel so dull. Like the first time you were exposed to it.
You were all of 4 years old. Your dad had brought you with him to the Justice League meeting. Relatively safe and Batman promised Robin would watch you. Dick was so excited to be a babysitter. You had hugged him tight enough to hurt before running to the climbing wall.
“Hey!” Called the 16 year old. “I brought games instead!”
You warily walked back over to him and card games and board games fell out of a duffle bag as he opened it. Half the stuff you were far too young for. You bent down as he scooped up his gameboy. You pulled out some games and open a side pocket to grab a small metal box. Dick sat down his gameboy carefully before turning back to you.
“Don’t open th-“ he started before you pulled open the box to show a bright green stone. Followed by you throwing up all over his bag of games. You dropped the box and sat on the floor. Dick quickly closed the box with the piece of Kryptonite and put it in his pocket. He had boroughed one of Bruce’s bags that apparently wasn’t fully unpacked.
“Dad, I don’t feel good,” you said as Clark ran over. Dick looked at you so guiltily.
“I didn’t know,” he swore. “I’m so sorry.” Bruce stood by quietly.
“We need to talk later,” Clark had told Bruce and yeah, they were mad at each other for a while.
——————————————
Jon arrived shortly in a dress shirt and slacks and he looked at Damian just as weird as Damian looked at him. They had basically switched clothing.
“Not to judge but that’s date clothing? You told me to not wear flannel,” Jon said accusingly.
“That’s because your sister wanted me to wear this,” Damian said back. “Let’s focus on finding her. Father’s calling me now. We’ll change in a minute.”
“Hello, you’re on speaker phone,” Damian said.
“Her tracker is showing a warehouse owned by Luthor Corp in downtown Metropolis,” Bruce said. “Do you need help? I can see if Dick is nearby.”
“No thanks. Jon will help me. Thank you, father,” Damian said before hanging up.
“Luthor. I knew it,” Jon said with a frown. “Wait, you put a tracker on my sister? Does she know?”
“Now is not the time. Let’s get to Metropolis,” Damian said, changing the subject while both got dressed. Jon nodded and offered his arms. “I’m not being carried like that. I’ll hold on your back,” Damian said. Jon rolled his eyes and nodded again.
As they flew over corn fields and pastures, Jon began to question Damian. “So when did you put this tracker in? Does she even know? Where is it? Do I want to even know?”
“It’s sub-dermal in her forearm and I haven’t told her yet. And it’s irrelevant right now as it might save her life,” Damian said and Jon looked disgusted. “We need to focus on saving her and then you can be her angry brother.”
“Wow...”
————————————
You moved and the cuffs burned your skin. You gasped and screamed “Jon! Kon!” You called out to them hoping one of them would hear you.
“Dad!” you cried frantic. There was no way he would hear you. “Damian! Jonathan! Conner!”
You panted and your head pounded. You were so tired. You’d lose consciousness if no one saved you. Then who knows what they would do to you.
“Superman!” You screamed desperately before finally passing out.
——————————
“Did you hear that?” Jon said as they flew towards the Metropolis skyline.
“No all I hear is wind. What did you hear?” Damian said.
“Y/n. She’s calling for us,” Jon said speeding up.
“Is she okay?” Fear bled into Damian’s voice.
“I can’t tell. I’m trying to hurry,” Jon said flying quickly towards the industrial area of the city. He landed on the roof of a warehouse. Jon’s eyes glowed as he looked through the building.
“7 men. 4 posted outside the door to the room that’s she’s being held on the 2nd floor. Her heart rate is steady and she isn’t screaming any more. Almost sounds asleep,” Jon said after his analysis.
“Probably tranquilizer. Father’s data said this building is used for research purposes. Does that fit?” Damian asked.
“Uh more like research subject holding. Maybe a small lab on the first floor but other than cameras everywhere, there isn’t much science stuff that I can scan. But also the basement is sealed off,” Jon said.
“How?”
“Lead bound. You can check it out while I rescue her. 4 guys is nothing,” Jon said making a fist.
“Hold on. Luthor would probably have her surrounded by Kryptonite. Just in case one of you look for her. And that’s the last thing we need,” Damian said. “I’ll rescue her and you look for the basement. Knowing Luthor, it’s probably an entire facility of experiments below. He just hadn’t gotten her room ready yet.”
Jon looked frustrated. “Fine. You rescue her but be careful. She is the weakest of us. She’s not invulnerable to bullets or anything.”
“Most of the people I rescue aren’t either,” Damian reminded him. “And I’m certainly not taking a chance with my beloved.”
Jon looked over to respond but Damian was already gone. Just like the rest of the bats: silent goodbyes. Jon quietly moved down to the first floor. He was working but at the same time, his ear was trained on his sister’s heartbeat. Jon might be the younger sibling but she didn’t have powers and he felt so protective.
—————————————
Damian rolled his eyes at the 5 ways he could see that the security sucks in the 3 minutes he hung out the window before climbing in. Large rafters and guards who didn’t bother to look up. Not to mention the fact that they let there be a solid wall between the set of guards which meant that Damian was easily able to jump down to knock them out in pairs without the other set knowing. If the security was any worse they would leave the door unlocked.
The door wasn’t unlocked but it was a deadbolt that Damian easily disabled. If he didn’t know any better, he’d say it was on purpose. He gulped before opening the door. What if you were really hurt? Or dead? Ignore and get in there.
Damian opened the door and he felt white hot rage. You were tied to a bed and were unconscious. You were in a nice dressy shirt and sweatpants. They’d clearly taken you while you were getting dressed. Damian wanted to kill them. He had to take a breath to help you. Jon was taking them out and Damian was on rescue. He had to stay level headed.
Even the cuffs on your wrists were inadequate. If they had attempted to restrain Damian, he would have gotten out in 3 minutes. When he was 6 years old. The Kryptonite had left nasty red burns on your skin and he clenched his jaw at the sight. Jon better be punching extra hard.
Damian picked you up bridal style and you groaned a little before turning your head against his chest. The farther he got you from that fucking Kryotonite the better you were. He took you to the roof and you started waking up.
“Damian,” you said softly and a little confused.
“Hey you’re awake. How are you feeling?” He asked looking all over your face for injury.
“Kryptonite. I hate that stuff,” you said. Damian grabbed your hand and you hissed. He looked to see bright red knuckles. You’d clearly fought at some point. He certainly knew the signs of punching someone.
“You fought back?”
“Yeah and hitting someone in a helmet and body armor sucks. I got just a few in before they pulled out the damn rock. I throw up every damn time,” you said shaking your head.
Before Damian could comment on how brave and stupid it was to punch body armor, there was a huge crash down on the first floor as someone flew in the building through the window. You grabbed him tightly.
“What the hell is that?”
“Kon. Conner’s here. I’m up here,” you yelled.
Conner flew up to the roof. “Are you okay? What’s going on?”
“Kidnapped. Damian and Jon saved me. He’s still down there actually. Can you check on him?” You said. Damian suddenly stood up.
“What if you were a distraction and the real problem is downstairs?” Damian suddenly said with clarity. The Kryptonite alone was enough to hold you down. The half ass security was to hold their attention when they rescued you. Jon was already flying back down before Damian could say more. Damian weighed his options: leave you alone, bring you with him, or stay out of it and while the last sounded nice, he’d have to go in case of more Kryptonite.
Before Damian could decide, Kon was back on the roof. “You’ve got to come see this.”
Downstairs was a lead lined basement. That alone had you nervous. Jon stood by the door. Little spattering of blood could be seen on his hands. He had a hard look.
“Warning: this is going to be messed up,” he said and you were even more worried. You walked in to see cages. Kids. Unconscious adults lay around in the hallway. “They were experimenting on them.”
You felt nauseous.
“My father is on the way. This is much bigger than I thought,” Damian said messing with his comms. His free hand was on your shoulder protectively.
There were 8 kids in cages. Bruce was running tests on their blood and investigating the area as you helped to get them out of the cages. What a terrible Valentine’s Day.
“Beloved, let’s get you home. We can stay at the farm tonight. You need sleep,” Damian said worried. You looked at him distracted.
“They’re just kids.”
“Come on. Let’s go. Kon is going to stay there too. Just for the night,” Damian said helping you up. Kon flew you both back to the farm.
“I’m going back to help. You okay, kid,” Kon asked as Damian inspected the house.
“I’ll be alright. Just help those kids,” you said.
“Yeah, of course,” he said ruffling your head. You rolled your eyes. “But seriously, the way you screamed I thought you were being murdered.”
You stiffened. “I’m fine. Thanks.”
Kon knew when to quit. Something he had learned from Tim. He gave you a big hug and flew off towards Metropolis.
“Hey. I made your bed so you can sleep,” Damian said quietly. “And a change of clothes.”
You nodded and went upstairs. Damian helped pull off your shirt and put on a sweater. He looked at the marks around your wrist and red knuckles but didn’t note any more bruises or cuts. You pulled on sweatpants and climbed in small twin bed that Lois kept for guests. The pink and yellow flowery quilt felt warm and comforting on your skin. Damian lay beside you after changing and looked at you seriously.
“What is it,” you asked.
“I was so scared tonight. I have been doing this for years and I’ve never been so worried,” he said softly and you looked down and flushed. If you weren’t so freaking sensitive to Kryptonite this wouldn’t have happened. Damian gently lifted your chin and you looked at him.
“I was scared to lose you,” he said running his thumb across your cheek. “I’m going to drive you absolutely mad because I don’t want to take my eyes off of you.”
“Yeah?” You said with a little smile.
“Uh hm. But first sleep,” he said and your body certainly agreed. You curled into him and rest your head on his chest. His arms held you tightly before rubbing your back. You fell asleep to Damian staring at you. He stared at you all night, not even sleeping when Kon came in a few hours later.
———————————
“I have to know what all that was, Bruce,” you said at the Batcave the next day. “I was in there.”
He looked at you for a minute. “They were experimenting with meta DNA. All of those kids have gifts and they wanted to take you too. There were even plans to inject those kids with your blood to see if it would affect them.”
You shivered a little at the thought. Lex Luthor and his obsession with Kryptonian DNA.
“All the records were burned. Most of the warehouse too. Your brothers were.... thorough. And Clark will be home in a few days,” Bruce added.
“Really?”
“Yes. And he’s furious at Luthor. Probably will call soon. He wanted to let you sleep earlier. We’re just running programs here. Why don’t you and Damian go upstairs,” he suggested.
“Bruce Wayne,” came a stern voice behind you. You turned to see your mother, Lois Lane, looking like she was going to beat up Batman. “You put a tracker in my daughter without her permission?”
“You what?” You said.
“Actually that was Damian. Though I want to point out that it helped save her life,” Bruce added. Lois slapped him soundly across the cheek. Bruce just blinked and rubbed his cheek.
“Damian, you put a tracker in me?” You asked shocked. You’d assumed Jon had heard you or Damian’s detective work brought them to the warehouse. Not an invasive tracker in your body. “What the hell?”
“Well I can explain..”

For the Snape asks: 11, 29, 35, 43! 💖
Rambling ahead!
11.) Your favourite scenes with book/movie!Snape?
(Confession: I haven’t seen all of the HP movies and it has been years since I watched any of the HP movies. I think the last HP movie I watched in entirety was the Goblet of Fire when that came out in theater. I don’t really watch movies and I only go to the theater if someone else has paid for the tickets).
His penchant for dramatic entrances cracks me up. His first appearance in the Chamber of Secrets in particular— Harry and Ron are bad mouthing him and he waits for the perfect moment to loom and join their conversation from behind them? Hilarious.
29.) How do you headcanon Snape's bedroom would look like?
I think his childhood bedroom (that he uses whenever he returns to Spinner’s End and doesn’t sleep on the downstairs couch) was very spartan: cheap second-hand furniture, old rag rug on the worn (and loose) floorboards, nothing up on the walls (because there was no guarantee anything Severus liked would be allowed to stay up on the walls). He had a box full of jars full of things/treasures he found around Cokeworth that he kept under his childhood bed because, for some reason he didn’t understand until he was older, the space under his bed was allowed to be private (he still kept anything that might’ve been valuable under a loose floorboard).
As a students at Hogwarts, Snape kept most of his clothing in his trunk under his dorm bed rather than unpacking all over the room like Rosier and Avery. Severus “decorated” his corner with parchment that could be still be scrapped and reused and jars full of neat things he found around Hogwarts. Mulciber had lifelong nightmares about that one partially squashed frog Severus had found and pickled, Mulciber just knew it was watching him specifically (Mulciber never mentioned these nightmares to anyone, he had a reputation to establish and maintain). The bedroom Severus uses most often as a guest at Malfoy Manor is painted black and decorated in black with the occasional bit of dark green as an accent because Lucius was trying to be supportive of Severus’ aesthetic and, as typical, got a little carried away (why, even the candlestick holder is black, even the candles provided specifically for that room are black and burn with an oddly purple flame! Lucius Malfoy does not do things by halves).
The bedroom Professor Severus Snape uses at Hogwarts (when he doesn’t fall asleep at his desk) is mostly a place to store books that don’t fit in his office or might not be wise to have on public display in his office. It is also a great place to store empty jars, jars with things that aren’t particularly impressive or intimidating, and jars that haven’t been opened and cleaned out yet (e.g., that jar full of “probably blackcurrant” jam Minerva gave him after a former student gave it to her, he hasn’t tried the jam yet so the jar is still in use holding mystery jam rather than something more interesting). The bed is serviceable, the rug is serviceable, all of the furniture is serviceable and all of the furniture had been provided by Hogwarts when he started as a professor. Aside from the books and jars (which, admittedly, probably occupies upwards of 50% of the available space), he hasn’t done very much to intentionally personalize the Hogwarts bedroom.
35.) Snapey BROTPs?
I am a sucker, a sucker I tell you, for the childhood friendship between Severus Snape and Lily Evans (I personally favor the platonic rather than romantic interpretation of Snape’s love for Lily, but that may be because I’m not much interested in romance while intense friendship/found family between the weird kids is absolutely 100% my jam). I think those Cokeworth scamps had dozens of pre-Hogwarts (mis)adventures, the sort that become snatches of pure sensory memory that you can’t possibly share with or explain to anyone that wasn’t there (how can one explain how the angle of a roadside embankment reminds you of the summer sunlight in the moment when your best friend declared she was “as surefooted as a mountain goat” three seconds before she tumbled down into the river and took you with her? How do you explain that explain that seeing rainbow edging on cirrocumulus clouds makes you want to hide in the nettles with your best friend (with sticky hands and jam on his nose and crumbs in his hair) because you shared a purloined slice of your sister’s Victoria Sponge before dinner?) — which made the slow and terrible collapse of their friendship at Hogwarts horrendously tragic.
For adult Severus, I am immensely fond of his friendship with the Malfoys. I like to think he was actually closer to Narcissa (perhaps Lucius’ inner prefect/Head Boy sometimes had trouble remembering that Severus wasn’t still the tiny eleven-year-old feral child that Lucius just HAD to adopt), but tended to interact more with Lucius in public because reputation is vitally important in such an insular society like Wizarding Britain.
I think he got on well enough with his colleagues at Hogwarts (at least, the ones that were around for more than a year!), but I don’t think he socialized with them very often outside of Hogwarts (for example, he didn’t join the crew that went to Hogsmeade with Fudge in PoA). I don’t think he would’ve really opened up to colleagues that had been there when he was a student, he’d be professional but not personal.
43.) What’s your favourite headcanon about Snape? Is there a movie/song/book that reminds you of Snape?
Favorite headcanon, hmm… for this current moment: Severus watched the lunar landing in 1969 with his father at the Railview Hotel— they stayed there all night (Severus fell asleep at some point between the landing and when the moon walk started, but Tobias made sure to wake him up before Armstrong stepped out) and they watched the entire two and half hour-ish long moonwalk; Tobias was nearly late for his 7 AM shift. It was memories like watching the moon landing from his perch on Tobias’ shoulders that made it impossible for Severus to simply hate his father when he was older (everything has to be complicated, huh?).
Lily watched the moon landing with her family at their house and the initial conversation Lily and Severus had about the moon landing was composed primarily of excited hand gestures, fragmented phrases conveying overwhelmed glee, and the words “the moon” repeated in various high-pitched tones of awe and wonder (the moon was almost more interesting than magic for a whole month!). Tuney caught them ignoring gravity to bounce around like astronauts eight times in the following week but, for some inexplicable reason, the parents Evans never noticed.
In terms of songs, there is a song that comes on one of the radio stations every now and then by Olive Tree called “Hurt” that makes me think of Severus and Lily as their friendship is disintegrating. Do I think Severus Snape might’ve marched (dramatically) through the halls of Hogwarts with the Star Wars Imperial Theme in his head? Yes. Yes I do. And he cant tell ANYONE.
Thank you!

Wounded Love (Lady Dimitrescu/F!Reader) Pt. 3
Fandom: Resident Evil: Village Rating: T for blood/violence and language Genre: Action with a lil bit of fluff Warnings: Lil bit of blood Notes: There's an unnamed character in here who may or may not end up as recurring in my stories. I don't really have anything in particular planned for her, she's kinda just here to fill a role/allow for some easter egg type shit in the next chapter. Previous Chapters: Pt. 1, Pt. 2
{Wounded Love 3: Bloody Valentine (No, not that Valentine)}
“Mother Miranda, I must insist, if these lycans stray any further they might start feasting on the village as well! Pray tell, who will you use for research then? We can’t just-... Forgive me… Mhmm. Yes, I understand. Of course… Have a good night, Mother Miranda,” Lady Dimitrescu said, before setting her phone down with a loud thunk. Her hands shake a little, and for a moment you worry that her vanity won’t survive the coming moments. Then you make eye contact with her reflection, giving her an encouraging smile, watching as her gaze softens. “I’m afraid there’s nothing she can do, my dear. I cannot allow Heisenberg’s negligence to go unpunished, but we will have to take care of it on our own, without Mother Miranda’s support.”
“Is that wise, love? To go behind her back like this? I can’t imagine she’ll be terribly pleased if we cause chaos for one of her favored few,” you replied, clicking your tongue as you thought things over. Again you see anger cloud Alcina’s face, though she makes sure not to direct it at you.
“We are not the ones who started this mess,” she reminded you, through clenched teeth. “But we will be the ones to end it, one way or another. I don’t care if I have to gut that wretched man-thing and bring Miranda his corpse as proof of his incompetence! He has shown his lack of loyalty hundreds of times… and now he will pay.” Gulping, you rise to your feet, wanting to comfort your girlfriend. While you had understood that your injury angered her, you hadn’t (until this moment) realized the sheer intensity of that rage. How much blood would be shed before this was over?...
-----------------------------
Crimson drips down the beast’s side, across matted fur, before hitting the wooden floor. A stench as awful as you had ever found filled the air, only made tolerable by the nearby presence of scented candles. What a mess, you think, glad that you wouldn’t be the one to clean it up. Why had the girls insisted on bringing the damn thing inside? Couldn’t they have simply snatched a few teeth from its jaw as a prize? Somehow you doubted that the thought had even crossed their minds. Violence was a passion of theirs, and they preferred their trophies to be as large as the effort they put into getting it.
“How close to the path did you find it?” You asked after finishing your examination of the lycan. Next to you, the eldest daughter is rapidly taking notes in a leather-bound journal. Both of her siblings stand near the fireplace, hands held out next to the flames, needing to warm up after being outside for so long. It wasn’t even that cold of a day, with temperatures averaging around eighteen degrees celsius. All the snowfall from the prior week had now melted. While you knew of the family’s weakness, you also knew that they had bundled up before leaving, and had even taken a torch with them in the hopes of using it on a lycan. Their powers had taken somewhat of a hit, temporarily, but not nearly enough to prevent them from killing a single lycan.
“Heard it howling almost as soon as we left the castle. We couldn’t smell it until halfway to the village, though. Once we could we tried to track it, only for the stupid thing to come charging at us. Must have been eight, maybe ten, meters away by the time we collided,” Cassandra answered. There’s a bit of a shiver to her voice, and you can’t help the rush of sympathy you feel in response. Being out on the path, wearing little more than a dress and scarf, had been absolute hell for you. Even if it was warmer outside now, you imagined that being weak to the cold just about made up for the difference. “There was a little more howling once we started walking back here. Louder, if not closer. Heisenbitch isn’t even trying to keep these fucking things in check.”
“Cassandra, language!” Came a voice in the distance, making everyone present look up at once. Strutting down the stairs was a clearly miffed Alcina, eyes narrowed, body tense. “Did you three really have to bring the mutt inside? Surely you advocated against this, Bela? Or did you think I wanted new bloodstains right by the entrance, where everyone can see them?” Next to you Bela winces, but doesn’t respond, too worried about angering her mother further. “And you, my dear, what on Earth are you doing on the floor? You should be resting, in an actual chair, if not lying in bed awaiting my return. There’s enough for me to worry about without you limping around on a useless leg!”
Now it was your turn to wince.
“Please, love, I know you’re stressed, but I can still help. Given enough time I could help ascertain these things’ weaknesses. At the very least I could pass on what I learned during my fight with one,” you pleaded. Then you tried to stand up, wanting to prove yourself, only to stumble, barely avoiding a faceplant- and only doing so because of Bela’s quick reaction time. She helped you to your feet, letting you lean on her, then lead you towards a bench. Begrudgingly you sit back down. “You’re only doing this because I got hurt. Helping you in your endeavor to avenge me is the least I can do.”
“Don’t be foolish,” Alcina snapped, now just a couple meters away from you. Even with that space between you, her presence was intimidating, and you almost felt like a child being scolded. “Were you to get hurt again, how would we avenge you? If you fall by your own hand, there will be naught I can do other than lock you away somewhere without any dangerous elements. What sort of existence would that be for you? I simply can’t allow it, no exceptions.” At this you pout, feeling rather disappointed. It’s not as if you were asking to carry a gun and shoot Heisenberg yourself! Not that you would be opposed to doing so, of course. “Try to put yourself in my place, my dear. Could you live with yourself if you failed to protect me?”
“I suppose I could not, love. Very well, I shall simply root you on from here, and kiss away any injuries you return with,” you replied, at last giving in. Then you found yourself smiling… and on the receiving end of a very soft forehead kiss. “Nothing will separate us, my love. None can tear apart that which the universe has stitched together.”
-----------------------------
“Like I said, my Lady, I already want him dead. Did you really think that your family was the only one to suffer because of his machinations? I know half a dozen people who would love to put a bullet in that fucker’s skull, bare mims,” the huntress said, white teeth showing in her half-smirk. There was an odd coolness to her voice, like this whole ordeal was just another job, and you couldn’t help but feel uncertain about her. Could she really be the solution to Alcina’s problem? You couldn’t even judge her arsenal, considering she had been instructed to come unarmed. After all, she was a hunter of monsters, with a sizable history to her name. If not for her hatred of Heisenberg, you would never have felt comfortable letting her come within two hundred meters of your girlfriend.
“How can I be sure that you’ll succeed? The last thing I want is to have that wretched man-thing come crawling out of the filth he lives in, angry and coming for vengeance,” Alcina responded, scrutinizing gaze locked on the huntress.
“Didn’t Duke give you my file? Or at least read the good bits out loud? I’ve been in my fair share of scraps, with all sorts of bioweapon mutant freaks. Besides, I don’t plan on leaving any receipts behind. If he manages to survive, which is already one hell of an if, there’s no way he can prove that you asked me to do it. Considering he’s already seen my face, and knows I want him dead… yeah, he won’t bother accusing you, not when I’m in the picture, and certainly not when you’ve got such a big reputation for following Mother Miranda’s word down to the very last letter. So, you gonna make this official, or what?” The huntress asked, gesturing her arms wide. Although you’re still not convinced, Alcina nods quietly, seeming ready to make her decision. Regardless of how you feel about the stranger in front of you, you’re more than willing to support your girlfriend in whatever she planned.
“Very well, huntress. Show us just what you’re capable of.”
-----------------------------
Flames licked at her heels, even as she charged forward, tickling like hot breaths against her skin. Behind her half a dozen lycans roared and screeched in unison. Smoke and ashes flew upwards, into the air, but could not poison her lungs, not when she had come prepared. Still, the mask was not as easy to breathe in as she had hoped, making her chest heave with effort at each intake of air. Good thing I’ll be gone soon, she thought, sparing a glance behind her as she ran. Dozens of trees were aflame, and countless glowing eyes watched from between the branches. They wouldn’t be there for much longer, not with what she had done.
Soon enough an explosion would shake the Earth. Then, finally, both the lycans who had killed her father and the man who desecrated the remains would be dead. And if a certain countess happened to pay her for her services? All the better, really. Funerals could be expensive, especially in such a remote village. More than that… there was no guarantee that she’d be able to outrun Mother Miranda on her own. A little money would make the flight out a hell of a lot nicer.
Assuming she made it that far. There was another scream behind her, this one more human, though somewhat warped by mechanics. It wasn’t a pained cry. No, it was filled with rage. Clearly Heisenberg had come out of his lair, hearing the fireworks, finding his scrap metal and werewolf army in chaos. From the sound of things- metal against metal, electricity crackling- he was coming her way.
“Fuck fuck fuck!” She muttered, desperately trying to get to higher ground. Even if the lycans succumbed to the overwhelming fire, it wouldn’t be hard for their leader to overcome. But the huntress was still too close to her explosives to risk activating the detonator. Just a bit farther, she thought, ignoring the way her lungs ached. Rocks kicked up with every step, loud enough to be heard from a distance, and made traction harder to keep. In the end she had to scramble to get up the side of a short cliff. A few scrapes appeared on her hands, making her curse under her breath.
But with one last movement, pulling herself up with both arms, she was finally far enough to be relatively safe. In one clean second she turned around, pulled the detonator out of its pouch and clicked the trigger. Just like that, a forest blazing turns into a mushroom cloud of pure hellfire. The setting sun makes for a beautiful backdrop, and the sight almost brings a tear to the huntress’ eyes. For a few moments she just enjoys the view. Then, without hesitation or remorse, she starts to walk away, mentally congratulating herself for a job well done.
Until something shoots past her head with terrifying speed. Before she can react another sharp piece of metal flies past her, grazing her arm, and there’s a blood-curdling roar from behind her. Then she’s running, fast as she can, pulse pounding harder than it ever has. One hand goes to the rifle on her back, pulling it out as quickly as she can. The area is rocky, with plenty of outcrops, perfect to hide behind (assuming there weren’t any hidden metal deposits). Quickly she ducks behind one, crouching to keep her head out of sight. Mere milliseconds later another metal spike slams into the ground just beyond her cover.
In the distance, more screams pierce the air, and something heavy drags itself across the ground. It almost sounds like a tank rolling through the woods. The thought alone worries the huntress, but she had never been one to let her fear control her. So she double checks her rifle, adjusts the scope, and pops out of cover. Less than a second later she has her target in her sights. It’s Heisenberg, for sure, more metal than man, but dripping with red. One press of the trigger sends a bullet straight for his ugly head. Unsurprisingly, it’s not enough to pierce his cranium, instead making him mad as hell.
Which is why automatic guns were invented, probably. The huntress holds the trigger down this time, though briefly, before dashing to the next piece of cover. She repeats the process a few times, hoping to kill the man before he could climb the cliff she stood on. If he managed to get up there with her… no, she couldn’t think about that, not now. She had to focus.
-----------------------------
Hidden among the trees, the Dimitrescu sisters watched as plumes of smoke rose in the distance. Even though they had been aware of the huntress’ plan, they hadn’t expected this much carnage. It was certainly exciting! But they really couldn’t see much from where they were. Getting closer was probably a horrible idea, and yet Cassandra shared a meaningful look with Daniela. A split second later they were forming a swarm, rushing into the trees, leaving their elder sister to yell after them.
“Mother’s going to kill me,” Bela said, before rolling her eyes and following. Maybe she could at least keep them out of trouble?... Probably not.
-----------------------------
Metal hands wrap around the huntress’ throat, squeezing hard, but do not twist or otherwise break their prey. No, Heisenberg does not intend to end this that quickly. This rodent had taken so much from him, set his plans back by decades. He was going to kill her slowly. When she still fights back, pulling a knife from her boot and trying to stab whatever she can reach, he does little else but laugh. It’s a crazed cackling that echoes through the surrounding rocky hills.
Just barely loud enough to drown out the sound of insects buzzing.
“Fuck that guy!” Someone shouted, right as a sickle descended upon the monstrous Heisenberg’s neck. The first slice isn’t enough to sever the connection, which is why it’s immediately followed by a second, from another sister, then a third, from the eldest, that finally does the job. Just like that the hands release from the huntress’ throat, and she gasps for air. Coughs leave her distracted as the sisters move to surround her. “Good thing we wanted to see the show up close and personal, eh?” Daniela asked, twirling her sickle with a little giggle.
“You idiots are just lucky I followed you,” Bela added, glaring at her sister. Internally, she was relieved that the end result was a success. Still, she worried about what her mother would think, and certainly didn’t intend to voice her satisfaction at delivering the killing blow. “Now let’s get back, before mother assumes the worst and comes to get us herself.” Sighing, she extends a hand to help the huntress up. Though their mutual enemy had been defeated, there was still much to be done. Who knew how Mother Miranda would react? Who, if anyone, would take Heisenberg’s place? There was plenty to be unsure about, and Bela let her mind wander the whole way back, hoping that things would only get better from here...

Just a taste (Kanato x Reader)
Tumblr media
Authors note: So I had this idea brewing in my head for a few days. I never have time to write but I managed to do this on the notes in my phone during my down time. I haven’t written actual years so I really hope it’s not total ✨garbage✨ also I hope I did Kanato’s character justice 😭
TW’s under the read more <3
TW: Non-con, Lactation, fingering, smut, sorta losing your virginity to fingering, being drugged by Reiji
 ~ * ~
The door pushed open with a creak, cool night air burning your aching lungs. With heavy limbs you manage to stagger down the stairway, bare feet scraping uncomfortably against the stone. You had to keep running, or else he’d find you.
You were a fool for accepting his drink, for thinking that maybe he’d show you some mercy, that the notion had been pure. Yes, you were complete moron for trusting any of the Sakamaki brothers, Reiji included.
Your legs carried on, heavy and weak. Further, just a little further and you could hide in the bushes of the garden and collect yourself.
Your body was burning inside and out, your nerves aching with pain and pleasure. The buttons of your blouse felt tight around your chest, the cotton constricting and rubbing uncomfortably against your stiffened nipples. Whatever Reiji had put in your drink was strong, it was doing things to your body you’d never felt before. Every movement sent your nerves aflame. You round the corner of the mansion, relief flooding through your body. Almost, you were almost there just a little bit more. Pushing yourself farther into the garden on heavy legs, you’re almost to a thick row of bushes-
A small Yelp bubbles up in your throat, your body falling forward and onto the grass. Crumping into a ball, the tears that had been threatening to spill over finally release.
“Ne... Teddy.. look... I knew I smelled something sweet...”
Your body instantly stiffens, the scratch of the grass sending electric shocks down your heated skin. Kanato Sakamaki stands, his favorite teddy bear clutched in his arms. He tilts his head, amethyst eyes wide with curiosity.
“Say, Why are you out here at this time of the night?”
There’s a sharp pain in your side, the force of Kanato’s shoe enough to roll you over onto your back. You gaze up at the full moon, chest heaving. What had you done to deserve this?
“ Don’t ignore me!”
You whine, your eyes moving to settle on the lavender haired vampire who is now straddling your leg, his prized possession resting against the headstone of his late mother. You’re painfully aware of his knee, which is shoved up between your thighs. Through harsh breaths you manage to whimper out.
“I-I’m Sorry”
He smiles. It’s not a sweet smile, but a smile of a predator who has just stumbled upon the most delicious pray.
“I’m thirsty, ne... Teddy what do you say we get a drink?”
Your heart pounds against your chest, another whine passing your lips as he leans over you, nosing your neck. The heat flooding through your body heightens, the pleasure of skin to skin contact overwhelming you. Your mind is muddled, tongue thick. The vampire presses his leg upward, knee digging into the fabric of your underwear. You yelp, nails gripping at the dirt beside you.
You’re painfully aware of his chest, pressing down against your own, of the way his fingers toy with your collar.
Kanato continues to nuzzle your flesh, hands roaming from your collar to play with the sides of your shirt.
“Smells so sweet... I’ve got to...”
Your body arches as he sinks his fangs into your skin. Kanato shifts on his knee, allowing for one of his hands to groap at your aching breast. You gasp, arms moving to wrap around him, fingers desperately clawing at his back.
“P-please Kanato-Kun S-St-“
You’re cut off by the vampire digging his fangs in deeper. Against your will, your body reacts, grinding up against his knee. The motion sends sparks of pleasure surging through you. Everything was heightened, so much so that it was almost painful. Kanato squeezes your chest. The dirtiest moan you’ve ever heard spills from your lips.
Abruptly, the vampire pulls away from you, his eyes filled with fury.
“What the... What did you just do to me!?”
Your vision, which had started to double, returns. For a moment you’re confused, until you see something slick coating his fingers. You push yourself up on your elbows, looking down at your chest. Your blouse was soaked; two distinctive wet stains against your nipples, trails leading down to stop at your stomach. Your face flushes, heart sinking. There was no way.
Kanato’s disgust quickly turns into something else. Whatever you’d just done- it smelled almost as good as your blood. You watch in shame as the vampire moves his fingers to his bloodied mouth, licking at them, smearing the blood against his pale skin. He lets out an animalistic moan, something you thought you’d never hear from him, of all Sakamaki brothers.
“More... I want.... more.”
You try to fight him back, but he overpowers you, ripping your blouse violently. Buttons fly across the garden, rolling through the dirt. He doesn’t bother with your bra, tugging it down over the soft flesh of your breasts. You look away, cheeks burning in shame. You’d managed to make it a week without any of them seeing you like this- but to think Kanato would be the first...
“Ahh...Teddy. Look how sweet her skin looks.... I want to paint it red...”
His eyes trace every inch of your exposed flesh, the look on his face enough to make your skin crawl. The hardened flesh of your nipples grabs his attention, rose pink and weeping with a sweet smelling white substance. It’s thick in the air, mixed with the scent of your blood. You try to cover yourself, but Kanato is quick to smack your arms away, his knee grinding up into your soaked panties.
“DON’T”
You flinch at his shout.
“Dont try to hide it anymore! Or else I -I ‘ll really hurt you!”
You stop struggling, biting your tongue to keep the tears at bay. The night air is cool against your exposed, supple skin. You whimper as the vampire traces your nipple with the tip of his tongue, collecting the oozing liquid from your breast. He moans softly, the sound almost a purr.
“Ne.... put your hands in my hair....”
You do as your told, trembling fingers weaving through silky lavender. Kanato shudders, his lips encasing your swollen nipple. You arch into him against your own will, the pressure in your chest slowly relieving itself. His tongue twists, a fang scraps against the sensitive skin of your areola.
“K-Kanat-ohhh-kun”
He chuckles against your nipple, the vibration sending sparks down through your nerves. You’re all too aware of his hand, which is slowly making its way down your bare ribs, cool skin soothing the heat that’s burning under the surface. Your fingers grip at his hair, not to harshly. You don’t want to make him angry, not when he’s acting like this.
“So sweet...Hey, Doll. Do you think it’ll taste sweeter mixed with blood?”
Your captor looks up at you, milk dribbling down his chin. The sight is alone causes your legs to tremble.
“I -I don’t-“
He doesn’t let you finish your thought. Not that you could anyway. The fog of drugs makes it almost impossible for you to form thoughts or words now, the only thing in your mind is Kanato. There’s a familiar sting as his fangs puncture your breast. You shudder, bucking your clothed sex up against his leg. You’re desperate for him, every nerve in your body is screaming for his touch. He sucks you, drawing in not only your blood, but the sweet nectar leaking from your nipple. It’s too much, this sensation is driving you wild. The noises your making are shameful and the way you’re dry humping against his leg is equally as degrading. He doesn’t comment on this though, Instead he unlatches from your breast, moving to the other.
Your head is swimming, pleasure and pain and heat sending you into delirium. Your head lulls to the side, eyes clouded from pleasure. Kanato punctures your other breast, his tongue lapping and sucking against your weeping nipple. The cool touch of his fingertips travels lower, skipping over your waist line and right up your thigh, below the fabric of your school skirt. A moan hitches in your throat. He couldn’t possibly be thinking-
“Neee... girls like it when you make them feel good, right? You’re rutting against me so shamefully.. I should make you feel good, so you’ll let me drinking more of you, right?”
His voice is velvety smooth, the sound alone enough to coax your legs apart. Kanato moves his knee, which is slick with your juices.
“P-please don’t I’ve never-“
Your pleas fall on deaf ears. The vampire above you slurps against your skin, his cool fingers slipping under the already drenched cloth of your panties to delve between your thighs. It stings.
Your legs flail weakly, your cry of mixed pleasure and pain echoing into the cold night. Kanato grunts as your fingers dig into his scalp, but he doesn’t say anything. You’re too delicious to be separated over something so small. His other hand, the one that’s not knuckle deep in your cunt, is gripping at your own hair. A garbled sob passes your lips, but you’re not sure if it’s from pleasure or devastation.
A man has never held you like this before- has never violated you in such a way. Eventually Kanato growls against your skin, letting your breast go with an audible pop.
“Stop squirming! I’m trying to make you feel good! If you keep it up I’ll stop and just let you suffer!”
You do as you’re told, the look in his eyes alone is enough to let you know he’s absolutely feral right now. He begins moving his fingers, scissoring you open eagerly. Kanato’s lips trail along your nipple, a fang poking at its tip. You jerk involuntarily, the movement pressing your cunt up into his fingers. Your head falls back, body arching into him. He laughs. The sound is cruel and if you weren’t so far gone it might send chills up your spine.
“The better you feel the sweeter your taste gets... I’m the first one to do this to you..?”
You nod your head, eyes closed.
Kanato grins, pressing a third finger into your weeping heat. He begins to stroke his thumb against your clit, the movement soft and gentle. Your eyes widen, fresh tears trailing down your cheeks. The vampire looks up at you, watching your every expression as he strings you along.
“Nee~ yes Teddy, I agree... she’ll be perfect for my collection”
Your heart is pounding in your ears. With each heave of your chest milk cascades down your breast and onto your ribs. Kanato presses his tongue against the fallen droplets, licking back up to take one of your once bitten nipples back into his mouth. You try to focus on anything but the sensations bursting through you, try to still your hips against his fingers, but it’s no use. You’re riding him, letting him take you in to the knuckle. The pad of his thumb circling your slickend nub.
His fangs pierce you again, the pain quickly turning into pleasure. Your eyes fixate on the small bear sitting atop a headstone. Shame twists in your gut. To be doing such a thing here...
The drumming of your heartbeat gets faster, your vision slowly going dark around the edges. Ecstasy is close, your body threatening to melt around Kanato’s fingers despite your better judgement.
“K-Kanato-Kun please. Please d-don-“
Your toes arch, digging into the dirt.
No. No no no this can’t be happening.
Your captor hums against your breast, drinking down both of your delicious essence. Kanato isn’t the least bit surprised when your walls spasm around his three fingers, nor is he surprised when your juices violently push against his hand, only to drip out of you like a leaking faucet. He’d read about that in one of Laito’s books. The fact he’d made you feel so good was more than pleasing to him. It awakened a sickening obsession.
You slouch back onto the ground whimpering, mind pleasantly numb. The fingers that had been tangled in Kanato’s hair were now resting on the ground beside you. The vampire unlatches from your body and pulls his fingers from your throbbing heat. He kneels back, licking each one from knuckle to tip. You look completely spent, tear stains marring your usually perfect skin. He nudges your legs apart, curiously peaking at what he’d just been assaulting. Kanato licks his lips, then stands.
“Get up. It would be bad if my brothers found you out here. You’re my favorite toy and they’d break you.”
When you don’t move he scowls.
“Tch. I said get up!”
He bends to the side, curiously looking at your crumpled form.
“Eh~ Teddy. I think she passed out.”
After a few moments the vampire nods at his companion.
“You’re right Teddy. It would be a problem. I dont like my idiot brothers playing with my toys. They always break them.”
Kanato picks up your limp body with no problem, swiping Teddy from the tombstone of his departed mother and gently, every so carefully setting him against his abs and on your tummy. He hums delightfully as he practically skips inside. The door had been left open, making it easier for him to get in. He kicks it closed before making his way to his room.
Your head is pounding, your limbs feel heavy and tired, but your body is no longer overly hot and sensitive. The first thing that registers in your sleep-fogged mind is the tenderness of your chest. The next thing you’re aware of is the cool body pressed against yours.
Your eyes flutter open, adjusting to the dim daylight that peeks through purple blackout curtains. The silky sheets draped over your body feel amazing. You try to move carefully, unaware of your surroundings.
“Mmnnn...”
The soft snore makes you stop moving. Your heart leaps out of your chest. Suddenly everything from the previous night comes rushing back. You’re overly aware of the fact You’re no longer in your own clothes. A soft cardigan has been buttoned around your body, loose and inviting. It smells like Kanato. Tufts of purple peek out from under the comforter and you feel like you’re about to scream. He’s latched onto you, arms tightly holding you against him. His cool cheek is pressed in between your breasts. You don’t risk trying to get away. If you were to wake the sleeping vampire no doubt he’d be ill.
After the shock subsides you try to get comfortable again. Your body is aching, sore from the previous trist you’d had in the garden. Your fingers gently comb through lavender locks, your eyes slowly closing once more.
“Just relax”
You tell yourself silently.
“Just go back to sleep. You need to recover”
After a few moments you drift back off, nuzzling your nose against the top of Kanato’s head.

track one: moonlight | i never knew, you could hold moonlight in your hands
The soft breeze of the summer winds blew past your hair, your arms wrapped around yourself as your eyes were trained on the scenery in front of you. Comforts of the beach seem to have always made you calmer than you have been, and you think that these last two years of your life had been a fever dream considering the roller coaster of events that you have been through.
You remember waking up in a hospital the night that your brother, Jacob, had an important race to compete in, and because of that, you didn’t want to break his winning streak by being bad luck. The moments prior to that were unable to be recalled for as the only reliable information you can get was from the doctor, explaining that you had consumed something before you had blacked out that had made you almost comatose, if it weren’t for someone that had saved you that night.
There were often times where you thought about what had happened at that exact moment, but it didn’t distract you from where your mind had been leading you the following day when you were discharged already because of Jacob. You weren’t sure where he had gone that moment, but all you could remember was reading a note with his scribbles that mentioned where he had left it.
A final decision that he had to decide on with a gig that he had gotten for his music career was what he had been working on, and you couldn’t be happier for him. That following morning, you found yourself at the cafe that was across from where you were staying temporarily, eyes darting across the beautiful cursive chalk that was written on a board for the menu, and you couldn’t help but feel like there were a pair of eyes that were stuck onto you.
With a quick glance around the shop, even if there wasn’t a line behind you, you noticed a guy that sat by the window with his eyes trained onto yours. An accidental eye contact, you might’ve thought to yourself as the handsome stranger had given you a small smirk across his lips, but you have already turned back around to quickly place an order for a tea that was taken to go.
You had known who he was, considering his name was already spread among the city that you lived despite it being your summer before your first year of college. How it had easily slipped from your own tongue if anybody were to ask you, who is the biggest playboy that is known in your graduating class, and it had to be him. If it weren’t for the fact that he had an overpowering aura that radiated from him, then maybe you would’ve gotten to know him more.
But you didn’t want to, because you knew what guys like him were like.
It was guys like him that made you want to hide away into the comforts of your personal safety net because you knew he was too beautiful and confident to be good. A chaotic driven force that you think was meant to be encountered with was what he had seemed like, ready to clash into your lawful good that the more that you thought about it, you wondered what more of him was like if you were to say hello.
Now it was a little over a year later in the summer before your junior year of college and you think that it’s comical that somehow the same stranger had caught your heart. After a semester and a half of trying to win you over as a friend throughout your first year, he was able to convince you that maybe hanging out one spring night at the beach wouldn’t be too bad, right?
“Sorry I’m late, Sunflower. Got stuck trying to find a way to park the car without dealing with some asshole again.”
Your eyes look up to meet the same warm ones that welcomed you as the red hair he had coated this time around seemed to have blended in with the night sky. He takes a seat next to you and wraps his arms around his knees that were being hugged close to his chest, until he takes a look over to you once more with a soft smile on his face.
“It’s okay, Sunwoo. I haven’t been here that long anyways.” You reply quietly, giving him a smile back as you bit back everything that was on your tongue.
You had already been there for almost two hours waiting for him, collecting your thoughts as you wondered what the two of you were in that exact timing. There were times where you wanted to just kiss him as a way to shut him up whenever he rambled or said something dumb, but there were also the mixed signs that made you wonder if he had ever thought about you the same way that you did in the past two years.
One too many shared secrets and kisses were often exchanged, but the two of you had always remained friends with too many benefits as you found your way back to the other. It was almost as if you were magnets, opposites that attracted to another and now you were trying to find a way for it to make sense under the moonlight that was brightly shining tonight above you.
“Can you sing me a song, bubs?”
His eyes turn to look at you, who had been staring at him after breaking away from your own thoughts, as he nods in response and opens his arms for you to find your place in them. He wraps his arms around you securely, holding you close to his chest as the soft voice that came from his throat produced a sweet song that you easily recognized as one that he had told you about for a while.
It felt like you were being put under a sleeping spell as you looked at him, wondering how even under the moonlight, he was almost the most ethereal being in the world. It was as though he was carrying that luminescence in his hands and placed it above his head at all times, making sure that whenever you needed to just be held, he was there to do so for you; another reason why you were so conflicted with what you both had.
However, maybe it was after a confession or two after that soft lullaby that it ended up being enough for you. Maybe being with him was enough for you, and for that you had also regretted it at the same time, because you knew that you were in for a ride with hell’s spawn.

track two: sometimes | cause we’re collecting moments, tattoos on my mind
“Are you ready for our getaway?” You hear someone say behind you and turn to look at Sunwoo, who had been standing at your front door for a moment now.
It was the hot morning of July first after a long night being with him, and it was a spontaneous decision to head out on a little road trip away from the city. You wanted to go to the seaside, you had told him just hours prior, and he had told you about a little place that he used to stay whenever he was in a mood to go on vacation and escape the realities of the world.
So you packed your bags and were ready to go as you walked up to him with a big smile on your face, one that mirrored his own as he pulled you close. By placing his hand against your lower back, the space between you both becomes almost invisible as he pecked your lips in just a quick second, and you couldn’t help but giggle at the sudden action that came from him.
Even after a month or so of dating, it still felt like you were floating on cloud nine despite the fact that you had been doing this for two years or so already. Being with him felt like you were able to conquer on the world, and you knew that might not stay long despite the shared whispers of the cursed eight letters that were often said when you spent nights together.
You wanted to tattoo every moment that you were with him into your mind, because from then until now it had only felt like you were living in a daydream. He had given you nothing but love and made you happier than you would’ve imagined making yourself, but you were okay with also accepting the fact that it might not last long considering there were often times where you might clash thoughts and argue.
By the time that you both made it to where you were staying, you were amazed with how elegant it looked on the inside, despite the fact that it seemed smaller on the outside. You think that maybe you were in a movie as you looked around, but it wasn’t until you turned around to see Sunwoo being busy on his phone that you wondered if this mini getaway was going to be worth it.
“Everything okay, bubs?” You ask while putting down your stuff, sitting on top of your bag as he gives you a small smile before nodding in response.
To him, he thinks that you are one of the most beautiful things as the sun was practically shining on your face as it seeped through the large glass windows of the house. It’s almost amazing that he found himself falling for you quickly, but he wonders how much of that smile will last on your face before he does something to mess it all up.
He wants to tattoo the moments where he’s able to make those smiles on your face with his sincerity, the him that he wants to be with you rather than the person that he decides to be to everyone else. Yet somehow, there was something about your innocence to him that made him want more than just what you had then and now, but he was scared of what he might become if had actually gotten it all for himself.
“Yeah, everything’s okay. Let’s go sleep for a bit before we spend the night having fun, hmm?”

track three: bad decisions | You've become my favorite sin so let 'em keep on talking
He knows that he isn’t good for you.
His reputation of being the residential bad boy was no match for your heart, and you both knew that. After spending the first two weeks getting to know the ins and outs of the bay, you made some quick friends even though you spent a majority of your time back at where you were staying with Sunwoo. The way that his hands had always felt like fire on your skin was exhilarating as every kiss you shared was more intoxicating than the last.
You could tell that he was getting tired of it already, because you’ve noticed that the fire that was once in his eyes was dying out, and you were scared of it. Even his words of reassurance of loving you and for not leaving your side by then was made, but you couldn’t find it within yourself to trust his words every time that he spoke of them.
“Are you sure that you’re in love with me?” You whisper after the highs and frustrations that were spent into what you had done earlier had been let out.
The two of you had argued about how he never seemed to have paid more attention to what you were doing when the two of you were out at the street markets today, his phone seeming more important than exploring the depths of shops that were opened by small businesses. You confronted him about it, thinking that maybe he was involved with someone else and that you were just wasting your time putting your love into a relationship that was one sided.
However that wasn’t the case, as he told you that one of his friends was updating him on a situation that involved their family.
“Why wouldn’t I love you?”
Those toxic eight letters felt so foreign at the tip of his tongue as he looked at you, who laid your head on top of his chest. He didn’t know what love was, and he felt like the biggest jerk for also leading you on knowing that in the end, he was going to leave. He wasn’t sure when he was going to do it, but he knew that you were slowly catching onto his plan, and he hated himself for making you feel as though you weren’t enough for him to stay.
He wants to give you the pain that he had felt once in the past, and ruin the sweet innocence that you held in your eyes. He’s heard stories about you as well, the same way that you had heard stories about him, and he knew then that there was something about the way you talked and expressed your beliefs that made him want to be indulged into you more.
“We don’t feel the same anymore.” You whisper, eyes meeting him as the moonlight that used to capture his eyes so perfectly seemed as though it was dying out.
Your heart was pounding in your chest as you watched him stay silent for a moment, his eyes still looking into yours but he still held you close to his heart. He doesn’t know what to say at all and he regrets it a little more for dragging you into this game that he started playing with his own heart on his sleeve, but he doesn’t know when he should stop, because to him, it feels like this game that he made was still not done yet.
But he can’t find the heart to tell you to run, before he can do it.
“I promise I’ll love you more than I should be loving you. You’re my sunflower, the same way that I’m your sunshine, and it’ll stay that way.”

track four: leave me lonely | you’re a dangerous love, maybe you’re no good for me
It was a little over a month into your getaway, and it feels emptier than it was when you first started the entire trip.
The nights that you shared together were less filled with meaningful words and actions, but more filled with moments that were there to make the empty void that was present full with whatever you two had wanted to do. You could tell that he was on the verge of just walking out the front door and leaving you because of how the increasing arguments that were made continued to be more present, and you could’ve sworn that if he wasn’t going to be the first to leave, then you would.
It was another occurrence tonight where you had gone out to eat as a date, since you wanted to fix what might’ve been missing these last few weeks of summer that you might’ve not done. However, it didn’t happen to work as you noticed how Sunwoo was already preoccupied on his phone almost the entire time, and you were fed up by the end of the night as he was driving you both back home and he had taken the time to text back whoever it was that seemed more important than you, who had been nothing but patient the entire night.
“Am I seriously not fun anymore, that you’ve spent the entire date texting whoever it is on the other end?” You half jokingly asked while turning to him, watching as he had given you a confused look on his face while the two of you were waiting for the traffic light to turn green to go.
“I haven’t been texting someone the entire time-”
“Then what did we do today, besides eat at the restaurant because we sure as hell didn’t talk the entire time that we were there.” You retort, the joking tone that was previously in your tone no longer there as he looks at you for a split second before putting his phone into the cup holder that was between you both in silence.
The green light finally switches and he drives again as you could tell that he knew you were right, the silence overbearing you both as neither of you spoke afterwards. You wanted him to bite back, but you couldn’t help but be impatient this time around with what he had to say, because he always seemed to brush it off these days about what he has been doing when he wasn’t with you, or when he leaves mid-argument and comes back the next morning making it up.
“You’re just overreacting, don’t worry about it, Y/N.”
He hasn’t called you by your name in a while considering he had only been calling you by Sunflower for a long time now. It was almost like whiplash as you stared at him, who was now driving back to your place with the night sky behind him and you wondered what you had even done wrong when you were just wondering who he would keep texting.
Maybe he was cheating on you and he didn’t want to admit it, you think to yourself as you curled up into a ball in your seat and looked outside your window to hide the pain that was present in your heart. Was there could’ve been something that you might’ve done wrong that could just made him bored throughout the last two years that you’ve known each other, where it was you that might’ve been in the mess up stance?
That night, you couldn’t even remember whether or not you have slept properly considering he didn’t sleep with you, but rather slept on the couch in the living room.
Was this what the start of heartbreak was like?

track five: touch it | Why do you say you want me, then tell me you're not coming in?
“How long have you been lying to me about everything?”
Tears were pricking the corners of your eyes as you stared at the individual in front of you with your heart on your sleeve, wondering what his next move was. Your throat was raspy from how much you were yelling out of anger and frustration earlier, and you wanted to know how long you had been playing his game.
“Two years.” He replies, his facial expression never faltering as his hands were in his pockets and eyes boring into your own.
His phone was placed on the couch beside you as you had found his texts with his best friend about how being with you was all for a bet of money; and he had won. All he had to do was to make you play his game and purposely break your heart, only to win some sort of prize that he would win at the end, but at what cost.
“I didn’t mean anything to you, did I?” You whisper as you cross your arms in front of your chest, waiting to hear whatever else he had to say, but you couldn’t help but wipe away the stray tears that were already falling down the apples of your cheeks.
Yes, you meant everything to me, he wants to say as he looks into your heartbroken eyes, and he was willing to give up everything to walk over to where you were to wipe your tears for you. But there was also the thrill in his blood that made him feel a bit prideful that he succeeded in being the asshole that he made himself out to be to everyone but you.
He had won the game, he acknowledged and it was over for him but he also knew that there was just a little bit of guilt that still lied inside of him. He doesn’t know what to say as he watches you start to crumble in front of him internally, and he knows you’re tired of all the lies that he had been feeding you since the first day.
So he had decided on running away after he said his last words, because like you had predicted, he was hell’s spawn that loved creating a chaotic masterpiece. As much as you hated him in the moment, he knew that you wouldn’t be able to let go for a bit, and maybe this was his chance to leave so that he doesn’t have to think about you anymore.
And he does as he walks away with the wind as he closes the door on you both, leaving with the sounds of his car already leaving and you know that he wasn’t coming back.
You think that it’s your fault anyways for wanting to believe in what you had was genuine, with every time that he had said it was true. But like you thought in the first place, where guys like him wouldn’t last, was true, because now you were in the place that held everything that reminded you of him. You wanted to trash the beautiful pain that was in front of you, but you also felt numb at the same time, not wanting to do anything but to just mourn the stained heart that was on the sleeve of your arm.
It was there for the world to see; tainted with toxic love that only you had for him, and it was now spilling out with his last words echoing in your head.
“I never loved you in the first place, because you were only just a game to win.”

bonus track: lovesick girls
The loud silence of the crackling fire resonates in your ears as you stare at the burning car that was less than 50 feet in front of you. Your knees were tucked into your chest as you stared at it, wondering where it all began to go wrong as the numbness of your heart continued to stay there. He had been gone for weeks, as you had expected him to run away for that long, and you hated yourself for falling for a guy like him in the first place.
He was intoxicating, addicting; the one person that you had given your entity to, only to have it crumble up in the palm of his hands.
You hated him and knew that this would be the last time you’d ever want to see him, since you were going to start going back on track with your goals and dreams. Starting next week you were set to start the fall semester into your junior year of college as it was now almost mid September and ready to run for the life that you wanted to have from the start of the summer before you had met him.
You think to yourself that maybe it was him that had ruined it all, or maybe a piece of you didn’t want to admit that it was also your own for not being cautious enough. The entire summer felt like you were running with the devil himself, and that the air you were breathing in now, the very one that you can finally collect your thoughts in, were your moments of freedom as you blinked back the tears of the memories that had played in your mind of last night that ended it all.
“All you ever did was run away from us in the first place, Sunwoo-”
“And I was wrong for doing it, that day that I walked out and left,” He says and you could see his eyes glimmer with what seemed like sincerity in the form of tears, just as the sun that was setting around you both began to make your skies darker than they were before.
“But that doesn’t mean that I regretted walking out, because I knew that we would’ve only hurt each other more if I had stayed.”
The silence that was overtaking you both was faster than that as your eyes continued to lock onto one another’s. You weren’t sure what you wanted to do in this situation, because you very much so loved him and all his imperfect beauties. However it felt like he was the constant fire that was burning your skin with every touch that he was able to make, and you didn’t want to be a part of that cycle that would continue with him, especially after finding out about his bet with his best friend at the most.
So in retaliation, you did what you should’ve done in the first place, resent and ignore him, as you knew that this should be the last time that you see him again in this life.
“Then I think you should just leave for good then, Sunwoo. Don’t ever try to find me again, and if you do... we will never do us again.”
