Your legs pushed you to the spot where a demon was recently sighted. You were asked to go seems that it wasn't too important for a hashira to go, but you were nearly as strong as one.

Slowing down when you approached the place. 'Seems fine to me' you thought in confusion.

This place was spose to be deserted but all the lamps were lit and lights in in the houses.

But the place seemed.....off to you. Walking up a small set of steps and quietly knocking in a door. "Hello? Is anyone here"

You waited for a few seconds before a lady opened the door. She looked off.

Not that anything anything was intensely off about her, but she just didn't look right. Almost like she wasn't.... Well, human.

"yes?" You were snapped out of you daze as you looked at the female.

"I- hello. I was just wondering if I could have a quick word with you. It's something about the missing people around here. I just wanted to know if you knew anything" you said and finished off with a smile.

"people going missing? Well I have noticed less and less people around so maybe" she replied opening the door gesturing to come in.

'Don't do it! Don't go in! Something's not right here!' a small voice kept chanting but you pushed it back off as nerves.

"well please take a seat" she said pointing to a seat. Once you took a seat she began talking again, but you smelt a strong metallic scent. 'blood'

"well I have see some kids go missing after they entered a house a lady owes. But I never really saw them go out" she said breathing in deeply.

Your hand reached for you sword and rested there. "Do you know what house it was?" You questioned, voice wobbling a bit. "yes, yes I do." She said. A small smirk plastered on her shifting figure. "This one!"

She turned around and jumped at you. Before you could even pull it out she had already stabbed into you.

All energy left your body instantly. You felt your legs and arms getting pulled, harder and harder and harder before they were riped off you body.

The door bursted open and the demon instantly forgotten about you, throwing you riped body to the side.

By now you had died from the injuries. Slowly you bled out. The last thing that had crossed your mind was your sweet, sweet boy. Genya

"w-what?" Genya was on the verge of tears as giyuu told him about what had happened. "No. N-no they can't be gone!" Genya screamed at the shorted black haired man.

"I'm sorry but- here" giyuu said before passing his you haori and katana. That's what broke him.

Clutching the objects that once belonged to you close to his chest. Tears passed his eyes and his body shock rapidly.

How could you be gone? How? You were about to become a hashira for Christ sake! "This, this isn't fair. I lost everyone that I loved. My brother doesn't even acknowledge me anymore. You were ment to be safe. I was ment to protect you. Now look"

Genya stayed there for what felt like forever. Just, crying and sobbing. Why did he waste so much time.

A hand was place in his shoulder. It felt rough and awkward. He glanced up through blurry eyes and saw his brother.

"it'll be ok" that's all sanemi said before he walked way.

You had missed him all day, and you wanted to see him. So, you walked to his room with the door already opened and saw him cleaning his bat on his bed. He seemed to be too busy trying to wipe the blood off that he didn't notice you. "God fuckin'...stupid blood." He grunted as he pressed his thumb and moved them over the stains with a wet bleached cloth.

You didn't bother to say anything, you walked over to him and leaned into him, arms slowly wrapping around his neck as you placed your head on top of his. He lowered his arms and completely stopped what he was doing. "...Y/N? What's up babe?" His voice was low, keeping his cool. You couldn't tell thankfully for him, but his face started to redden at your sudden action.

"I miss you. I barely saw you today." You replied, voice slightly muffled by his cap. Boom. That was the trigger. He was nervous now, more than ever. 'God. Your so fuckin' cute Y/N.' He smiled wearily, "Sorry toots. Today was rough. But I'm here now ain't I?" You smiled, "Mmm yea. Can we watch a movie?" "Sure. Gimme a sec, alright?"

He got up and placed his bat back into his drawer, as he walked outside to compose himself, face now fully red. You never do realise how you make him feel. "Goddammit Y/N." When he finally composed himself, he went to make a bowl of popcorn for the both of you, as he turned on a nice movie for you both to enjoy.

Engie was just tweaking his invention, he promised you he'd be asleep in an hour, but it had been three hours and you had awoken from your sleep. "Mm...what the.." You noticed a distinct lack of engineer on the bed. You sighed as you got up, walking to his work room.

You opened the door with a creak, alerting him at once. "Engie." He turned around in his chair to face you. "OH! Sugar...I didn't know you were awake." He said, his voice smooth as silk. It made your heart skip a beat, but you had no time to be melting over this man's gorgeous delicacy of a voice. You walked over to him, sitting on his lap as you wrapped your arms around him.

He was certainly surprised, feeling his cheeks slightly heat up. "...Honey?" Your head lied on his shoulder. "You said you'd be asleep in an hour, and yet I wake up to nobody with me in bed." You huffed, tightening your hold around him. He smiled, and arm wrapping around your waist as the other rubbed circles on your back. "Ah. 'M sorry darlin'. I guess...I just got caught up in my work."

"It's okay...but can you sleep now? I miss you. I wanna cuddle." You asked. He chuckled, "Of course sugar." He moved his arms to your thighs, carrying you as you moved your head to face him. You kissed him, as he did too. Your soft lips were like heaven to him, as he walked you both back to your room. He lied you onto the bed, taking off his helmet and goggles and placed them by your bedside table.

He didn't bother to change, and you sure didn't care. You only wanted to have his sweet embrace accompany you for the night. As you quickly get yourself comfortable he places his head onto your chest, feeling your arm wrap around his shoulder.

He was in pure awe, you were so sweet even in bed. It stole his heart. He nuzzled himself into you as you kissed his forehead, making his heart flutter. " 'night Dell. I love you." You whispered. "I love you too, sugar."

Heavy was in his room, he had just finished cleaning Sasha. He was reading a simple book after a day of hard work. You had missed him SO MUCH. You knew he was never really a touchy feely person, so you don't have much romantic intimacy with him if he's in a mission.

When you heard the mission was done, you ran straight to his room. "HEAVY." You exclaimed, making him jolt. He put his book down to look at you, "Ah, Myshka. Hello." He smiled softly. You grinned and jumped on him, surprising the fuck outta him.

"bozhe moi dorogaya! What has gotten into you?" You simply chuckled, lying your head on his chest as your arms wrapped around him. "I've miss you sooo much Mikhail." You sighed, head nuzzled deeper into him. His face flushed tomato red as he placed a hand on your head, petting you. "Ah...I see. I have...missed you too. Greatly. I apologise for not being with you for long."

He placed his other arm on your back, continuing the light pats. "Mmm. it's okay. I know you got tons of work. But...can we just, cuddle for now?" He smiled, his eyes full of endearment as they don't dare to leave your adorable figure. "Of course, moya lyubov."

You two spent the rest of the night cuddling, as you fell asleep in his warmth. He did too, now arms wrapped around you, like a big Teddy bear providing warmth from a lovers embrace.

everyone says NL or nearl herself is mega neoliberal which throws me for a spin because I think of all the non viginette events it’s one of the only ones that says things can be better through great upheaval and that bears hope that the people themselves when mired in one of the most uh “late stage” capitalist countries in the game might actually gain like. class consciousness because of the ever-growing awareness in every corner of how deeply they’ve been robbed of their humanity under the current system.

a lot of people do the unthinkable. the adeptus intervenes just to save the child of an old friend she loved. margaret walks with dikaiopolis to the victory hall (which is for once, empty of reporters and cameras since the commercialization of knighthood <- MEANS SOMETHING) and MAKES IT because everyone just finally gets up to take the steps with her; she denies the spectators a clear victor to the endless competition and holds the crown in ambiguity. viviana, the secluded forever-outsider, literally physically threatens a kgcc official to let them go. Mlynar changes his mind and leaves, leaving the nearl household to margaret, and before that, actually brings in Toland to fight the armorless. before that nearl actually intervenes underground and fights off the armorless there too alongside pinus gang. the assassination is completely thwarted. Gravel is freed. Platinum does the unthinkable for someone so apathetic and entrenched and tries to unchain herself and run against all odds; and she survives, and makes it out; Centaurea is freed, unlike her predecessor. the voice on the phone says none of this matters, we still have control forever and ever but even malkiewicz finds the man who gave him his position in the country, and watches him kill himself after declaring he was right and kazimierz will never change, and vows to fight it anyways. maybe it’s because the voice on the phone is in the epilogue that it comes off as the final word, and it and darksteel remain safe and faceless and seemingly untouched, but I think that the kgcc is actually utterly underestimating its people and what this meant to many of them. what nearl did was that with her at their side, people stopped being afraid: to run, to leave, to fight, to want something better…she showed them you can struggle against these colossal forces and win if you do it together. the first step was made man!

my biggest criticism is that pinus sylvestris LMFAOOO gets merged into RI which is like…you know me it’s ironic I always criticize rhodes if anything for being “neoliberal” and always acting as a violent stopping force against change, often siding with police against protestors and with oppressive governments against “dissidents” and I personally think RI would really muddle their directives and spirit and bind them to goals that often hurt infected, which they even admit to themselves. but they do it anyways because RI offers short term safety for the few refugees. But otherwise every other event bar maybe i dont fucking know break the ice (which is about industrialization moreso than this stage of things) absolutely thoroughly fucking stomps on any sort of “idealistic impossible goal” and paints all its revolutionaries as either idiotic self-serving violent criminals or misguided naive losers who never even had a chance and NL is the one that says Yeah okay right now it’s possible. of course it’s not a certainty and we all know this game never hands over total victories like that to the point it reads often as a warning and a damper but like. AM I READING IT WRONG? i havent reread the entire event and it’s been a while so I might be missing some things so am I….🚶

Harvey Bullock Dad Headcanons

I'm only doing this because I'm fatherless and I like to imagine characters being great parents🚶

A/N: Reader is gender neutral, like always. @love-is-lovey helped me with some of the headcanons

Many people suspected Harvey to be absolutely horrible with kids considering he's and man whore that gets drunk a lot, but many were surprised by the fact that he even had a child.

Many have tried to ask him who the mother was and Harvey kept on avoiding the question because let's be honest, motherfucker probably doesn't even remember who it was.

Definitely brings you to work since he doesn't know who to ask to watch you, however, it's a bit boring sometimes and you kinda just end up spinning in those chairs.

When you were like a baby, he definitely had those baby carriers and bring you on investigations.

Harvey: If you see anything suspicious let it be known.

6 month old you: *giggles and points at a bird*

Harvey: *puts the bird in hand cuffs*

Calls you his Little Detective even when you're in your mid 30's

I do imagine him being like Tatsu from The Way of the Househusband and doing yoga with a bunch of different moms with you.

If you wanted you and your dad to dress up as a superhero or a princess or whatever fantasy, he would do it out of pure fear of you.

*You and Havrey are driving you home from school*

You: I want ice crea-

Harvey: We got ice cream at home.

Would be those dads that swear they don't want a dog, but once you get one he is showering it with all of his love and affection.

I imagine interactions when he's coming home drunk look like this:

Harvey: *stumbling into the house* Guess who I met at the bar, Jim fuckiny Carrey!

You: Okay dad, let's get you to bed...

He would teach you how to fight and when the day finally arrives that you get into a fight at school, he would act disappointed in you in the principles' office but once you two get into the car his immediate question is "did you win?" If you say no he would be disappointed in you because he thought he taught you better; however, say yes and he will take you out for ice cream as a reward.

If there was a scenario where your life is in danger, he would act fast to try and save you. Sometimes even leaving Gordon behind just to save you.

At family dinners it's a hit or miss on whether you two will be attending since it is Gotham.

Harvey: Tell grandma that we won't be coming over for Thanksgiving because of The Rid-

You: Already on it.

But if you two do attend, there is that one family member that you two hate and just put up with during the event, but once you two are in the car you are complaining about them.

Is those protective dads towards your partners, would literally introduce the partner while cleaning a shotgun and would be tough cop on the person.

Harvey while cleaning shotgun: So you want to date my kid? Haven't done any drugs have you?

Partner: N-no...

Has those stereotypical white dad aprons that says "Kiss the Chef", and he does have a pink apron with little frills(all pretty) that he got as a gag gift from you on Father's Day but actually wears it on occasions.

If you were to come out to him as trans or anything under the trans umbrella, he would be accepting but he's just a bit confused with identities like gender fluid and non binary, still supportive though. Would never purposely dead name you or call you by the wrong pronouns, he usually quickly corrects himself. Definitely has beat the shit out of someone for purposefully dead naming you.

Dad jokes 24/7

Keeps arts and crafts projects that you made when you were like 5 in a box under his bed.

He would be the type of dad to arrive to your graduation drunk.

Has held you like this when you were a baby:

Overall he's a great dad but at times can be a terrible influence.

5. What are your fanfic pet peeves? Do they have a huge effect on whether or not you decide to read something?

One of them is very hypocritical of me to have considering my first language is NOT english, but too many grammar errors, I just can't read it without losing focus (and yet I do that too, which makes me hate reading back some of my older fics, both the ones in english and my even older ones in Portuguese where it looked like I didn't know any grammar 🚶). Another one is if the fic is too rushed, I just feel like I'm missing something while reading it. And yeah, most of the time they affect my decision on reading something or not djjsjfksjdh

13. Do you outline your fics? How much of a headache would someone get if they just looked at an outline of yours without reading the fic?

It depends on the fic. If it's a longfic I do try to outline it so I don't miss the original ideas I had and I can change them later if I see it works better for the story, but mostly my outlines are very organized and descriptive with even lines of dialogue that I write beforehand so I don't forget them because I have shit memory, so I don't think anyone would have a headache reading them :)

37. Give an update on your current WIP - if you don’t have one, give a sneak peek to a title or idea that you have and would like to write.

I just started a new WIP but it's not posted yet so the WIP before that I was working on was the next chapter of Wrap me up, unfold me (after months!!!) and I had to change the entire chapter because I realized I pulled the "dumb man gets in danger" cart one too many times, and it was Charles' time to be dumb so I decided that no, he can be stopped this time, and I'm staying from the planning I had made 😬😬 Currently I have 2k words of it written already and here's a small sneak peek of it:

"I need you to trust me on this, and I need you to stay here," Charles rasped out, taking a step forward and glaring up at Erik as the man stared back at him with a surprised expression. "If I can just know what Shaw wants without causing too much trouble, if I can let him threaten me but not fight me, I have a chance, but for that I need you to stay put, Erik."

"And you expect me to accept that?" Erik groaned, shaking his head. "You spent a whole fucking month angry at me for my recklessness on facing Shaw on my own, and now you want to do the same thing?"
