Hazbin Hotel Headcannon

I've been thinking a lot about Adam, Lute, Vaggie and the exorcists. How they all work and everything that we've learned over the course of the show about them. After looking over the pictures of them without their masks and all the back dealings with heaven I was kinda starting to think...

What if their all related?

Adam and Vaggie have the same skin colour. Lute has Adam's nose. They all have golden pupils (Though Vaggie's sclera is red, many have head cannoned that being from living in hell.) Vaggie and Lute both have white hair. Theres a lot of similarities between these characters physically and while that can be due to the art style, I do start to wonder.

However WHY would Lute , Vaggie and possibly all the exorcists be Adam's daughters? Well it starts to make sense when you remember that Sera wanted to keep the Exterminations under wraps. If you have Heaven Born or Saint (Dead humans who got into Heaven) warriors doing the exterminations, word would eventually get out. These people have lives outside of their work and all it would take is talking to a spouse or one of them feeling guilty before news spreads. IF you have warriors who's entire life was Exterminations, then they would A- be less likely to tell anyone and B- Be less likely to feel guilty if they weren't taught anything else.

As for where all these woman came from, my guess would be cloning. We know for a FACT that Heaven has Science.

A good way to get warriors that won't have outside influence/ loose lips is if they don't have any parents that will be wondering whats going on. Cloning would also ensure that warriors will walk off the assembly line fully grown and ready to train. Adam likely used his DNA and then mixed it with donated DNA from other Heavenly Residents . All he then had to do was train his army.

OF course this opens up some rather dark things to consider. There are at least 100 Exterminators. All of them are female. The likelihood of that happening by happenstance is extremely low. Adam had to have chosen to only have woman in his army, and when you factor in Adam's misogynist, narcissistic attitude, that dose not paint a pretty picture. We also need to consider that Adam was left to train/educate these woman with almost no outside interference. Sera made it clear she wanted as little to do with the Extermination business as possible and she maybe one of the few who knew about the army's creation. IN FACT I know she had nothing to do with the army because, apparently, Adam got to name these girls and nobody, and I mean NOBODY, stopped him from naming Vaggie after female anatomy. (I wouldn't be surprised if Vaggie is a nickname and she's actually just named Vagina.)

They seem to have lived a life of constant training and battle. Its also heavily implied that Vaggie (and Lute to a lesser extent) were taught to view themselves as disposable. Worthless if they didn't have someone to serve. We see it when Vaggie tries to lead the trust exercises, when she beats herself up for not making a proper commercial for the hotel, in fact she seems to have little personal life unless its training or Charlie is involved. Lute herself rips off her own arm just to try and help Adam. If Adam did raise/train them, then these are some pretty bad signs.

These are just some things I was thinking about looking over the show. I am also not making this to bash anyone who ships Adam and Lute. This is all speculation and personal interpretation. I've just never felt anything romantic between Lute and Adam, but they were clearly close. I took that last, tearful goodbye in the finally as a distant, estranged Father- Daughter relationship.

Anyway, what do you think? Its highly unlikely this is true, but could make for a fun, dark fan fiction or Au!

why leon x kaito ?? well for one (and i hate to say this) i never really liked gakukai, like i can see the appeal and i wont bash it but its just not for me,, i could say kaimei is kind of cute and that whole "being literally made for eachother" thing is also quite nice but i break out in a rash when i try to draw straight couples (slahs jay i have nothing against the heteors), BUT ALSO, leon x kaito is good, not just because i dont like other popular kaito ships, but also because its just good,, theyre the first 2 male vocaloids, part of the original 4 daisy project vocals, a couple of the only 5 v1loids, so they have like old married couple vibes to me, like theyve been together for so long that it would be weird for them to be apart, theyve just always been together yk,, also i like how they were NOT "made" for eachother, like how leon and lola were a pair, and kaito and meiko were one, so kaito x leon goes against that,, its like those queer fantasy stories/ oc universes i somtimes come across like "this PRINCE was in an ARRANGED MARRAGE with this PRINCESS, but hes GAY and shes GAY IN THE OTHER WAY", like they werent supposed ot be gasp, but they are anyway gasp. like theres no forces opposing leon x kaito but it just kind of like wasnt intended when they were created, and i just like the comfort in their queerness that they have

you might now be thinking htough, "dont the exact same things apply to lola x meiko ??" and the answer is yes i will be drawing them too. i might have drawn meiluka in the past but that was peer pressure and that ship also just kind of never was it for me, so lola x meiko it shall be.

i love the idea of the 4 daisy project vocaloids just all hanging out, like theyre all good friends, maybe they all live together slendermans creppypasta mansion style, and theyre just very mlm wlw solidarity,, or hostility either would work. they are basically all parents to the younger loids an di grergerhhhhhhhhh,,,

in otherwords leon x kaito real, as well as lola x meiko

oh also this is my own leon design, i dont have a ref drawn up but feel free to draw it this design yourself if you want to,, i think that that whitewashed leon character mascot probably has a place within the fandom, seeing as its the most commonly accepted mascot for the first ever vocaloid, but it just does not work as a protrayl of leons voice. he can be a fanloid or smthing, but actual leon is voiced by slahs modeled on a black person, same with lola, so they are both black too. my design is a bit plain and heavily based on cfm character vocal series, so ill probably work on it more in the future

sorry for all this writing but i need to make leon x kaito propaganda, as i dont think ive ever seen anyone ship them outside of "kaito x fucking everyone as long as it passes as yaoi", and i need them to be real they have been on my mind a lot recently

hxh theory: is feitan a p3d0phile?

tw's: mentions of l0l1c0n, paraphilia, p3d0philia, sadism and torture because its fucking feitan, cp (debatable if you consider l0l1c0n cp), mentions of problematic hxh ships such as feitan x kalluto and hisoka x gon

just a note: before you come at me with your pitchforks leaving hate in my asks and dms, i am not a fan of l0l1c0n nor am i trying to defend it, this post is a simple theory i have gathered by evidence in the manga, no one is saying that you should believe this theory, it's more of a "do with this information what you will" kind of thing.

so, you may be reading this title and you're thinking "what the actual fuck?" and you probably believe that i pulled this straight out of the deepest parts of my ass, but what if i told you i had some plausible evidence for this theory?

so, for starters, this thought actually came to me when i was reading a post by a user on here named @/cautionworks (i'm not going to tag them here because i don't know them nor do i want to seem like a bother) who made a post relating to their favorite ships (warning as the post does contain problematic ships such as hisogon and such, not saying in particular im against the ship, im just giving out a warning to anyone who is triggered by minor x adult ships) and there was a ship listed as feitan x kalluto.

in the passage it mentions that they found out that feitan may be into l0l1, which at first thought was a bit strange but once you think about it more, the concept isn't the most absurd for someone like him.

i haven't seen anyone actually talk about feitan possibly being into l0l1c0n, much less being a p3do, probably because of the anti's in the fandom.

so, lets get on with the actual evidence!

in the yorknew city arc, after he was done torturing the owl, he is seen reading a book by an author named trevor brown, and as stated on his hunterpedia page, trevor is a controversial artist who's work involves paraphilia; atypical sexual urges.

according to trevor's wikipedia page, "His work explores paraphilias, such as lolicon, ero guro, BDSM, and other fetish themes. Innocence, violence, misogyny, and Japanese popular culture all collide in Brown's art."

there is also a reddit post relating to this topic as well, and according to said post the topic was popular on tik tok at a certain period in time (not very important but i thought it was kind of interesting since im a tik tok user and content creator kind of)

so, does this make feitan a p3d0phile? i can see why people would think so, and i can also see why people wouldn't.

why i would is simple; trevor brown's art speaks for itself, the usage of fictional little girls in... lets just say, VERY interesting situations would make one assume off rip that feitan may be a p3d0phile, or at least a l0l1con, not to mention, togashi isn't afraid of making a character like this especially since we have hisoka (not saying hisoka is a p3d0, but many do, and im just trying to prove a point and give an example as to why the concept of feitan being a p3d0 isn't something completely out of the ordinary, hxh does get pretty dark after all).

why i wouldn't: i've seen some arguments that feitan may not hold the same views as trevor despite him doing some questionable things, similar to how people may like a certain character or even person in real life but not agree with everything they say or do, not to mention he doesn't seem to act weird or overly charming with kids like hisoka, he certainly isn't afraid to hurt or torture one (gon) but theres no actual implications outside of him reading this book by a controversial artist that he is sexually attracted to them.

but in my personal opinion, unless specified by togashi himself, or given any more details about how he feels about such things i wouldn't go as far as to call feitan a p3d0 just because he's seen reading a book by someone known to create l0l1 art, hell, he might be reading a book that doesn't include anything relating to p3d0philia, since the cover art isn't explicitly shown.

first impression: you really get the feeling that she fucking hates you. shes rly funny cuz shes the tutorial character but doesnt leave after the prologue. shes here forever, judging dante. i feel in the beginning i skimmed over all the nuance in her dialogue assuming its just wordy for the sake of wordiness.

current impression: faust is soooo... faust. upon replaying the prologue shes way less cold than i first thought, her little c: smile when talking about mephis was saur cute. in fact shes not really cold at all to me, simply operating in a faustly way. you can contextualize what she does as a way to keep herself occupied. not really for some deeper lore sense (because ionno what her deal is) but a bitch needs some stimuli. i think if she was made to do arts and crafts with no larger purpose outside of fun she would explode into blood and gore. it also makes her friendship with yi sang really funny because i wonder if she cares to understand his artsy spech past it being a little clever wordplay. if he made her a drawing she wouldnt know how to compliment it outside of a technical sense. her flavor of arrogance is also so funny to me because its so stupid? like when rodya complimented her and she puffed up and went faust Is cool. the speaking in 3rd person too is funny, knowing she isnt LARPing like don and is very much just Like That. theres alot about herself she either doesnt notice or simply does not want to examine deeply like her mild competitiveness or tendency to manipulate people if it means theyll be less annoying to her. simply the faust of all time

favorite moment: i think the sweetest and funniest thing was realizing her spiel about yi sang not being a genius Unlike Her and believing in more philosophical things unlike her Sensible and Tactile self was an attempt at a COMPLIMENT. i thought she was ripping him to shreds but no she was actually hyping him up a bit in the most clinical way possible

story idea: you know earlier when i said making faust attempt creative expression would cause her to explode into bits? well i want to see it anyway. im forcing her at the kindergarten table of that nasty smelling homemade playdoh and telling her to make a new animal. sinclair made a bear with with wings called a beear. very nice young man.

fav relationships: im enjoying the fandom divide with faust shipping where she is either getting bitches left and right and not giving a fuck to maintain them (because it comes out weird when she tries) or not even being aware of when shes down bad and having the primal part of her brain that tells her to bite and roll around hijack her motherboard. shes being corroded by an insidious EGO called... horny, different to lust, which is Krausts jam. i already wrote a little bit about fausang and i think fausts inability to know how to enjoy things makes them a very sweet duo. in her mind the guy doesnt come a lick close to her own brilliance, but something about how he closes his eyes in understanding speaks more words than compliments do. not to say that faust doesnt like being hyped up. because she does, like all the time. if they were walking she wouldve tripped when rodya called her babe. her greatest flaw is pretending shes above anything, if there was a chance to maul ryoshu she would without pausing. probably so turned on she cant see anything. ishmael too. also outis. hey, whats going on here? my sources tell me due to her ongoing opposites to yi sang she is incapable of a domestic lame marriage the way he is. ishmael is the yuri messiah, but faust is the yuri menace. you know what they are both capable of though? following rodya around enamored because that was the first pet name theyve ever been called and it felt Funny.

Hey can I tell you a thing i did? she gave away the clue to "dox" Home hehehehehehe, Alright let's dive in to her vague analysis

She's Jobless? - Yep, you read that right, Julie Joyful doesn't have a job. every other character has some sorta job, But her? nahhhh. Either she's too young to have one (Spoilers: She's 24) or she doesn't have the mental capacity to get one as we know her MO is based off of Children's Games like hopscotch, jump rope and managing to get on top of Howdy's Bodega....and having chlorokenesis (Power over Plants).The only job-y thing she does is play business woman. I'm wondering if she's still a kid or it's just she's working for the show, idk.

Ofc Julie's autistic - Ya bois know that @partycoffin confirmed that She's autistic. Her stimming includes running, jumping up and down and flapping her arms like crazy (Wholesome fact: She and frank got the flapping arm stim from poppy🥺), Oh righttt! Did i mention that she's Level 2 Autistic?

She's hangin on frank - Remember when i said she was jobless? "How'd she's standin?" bcuz Frank is helping her out. Since she has the mental capacity of a 4th grader and add in her autistic behavior, I propose a theory that julie would be impulsive / indecisive to know what to wear (Ur not alone julesss). HOLD THE PHONE!!! - Is Home targeting her? cuz theres like a cycle where home looks side-to-side, at howdy's and eddie's then finally up at julie's before they're eyes go black. A bit strange ain't it? There's blind spots for Home and its Frank / Eddie's house and Sally's Theatre / House so ofc both of those fever dream hallucinations would survive.

Ethnicity Analysis Time!!!!!! - Okayyy her ethnicity's a bit vague Buttttt i'm gonna guess on a whim, She's Half Latina and Black, Specifically from regions of Oceania / Australia cuz of her natural blonde hair cuzzzzz It's rare to have dark skin and Blonde hair due to genetics, but it's possible from the indigenous parts of Oceania.

Julie's Story - Julia Alegré was born in 1945 as the 4th child younger than Jonas, Beatrice and France (I swear these names are real). As a child she had to be taken care of more due to her Level 2 ASD but atleast she made friends to support her. At high school she dated 출격선 (Chulgyeong Sun / Sally). fast forward to 1964, at 19 she moved out and then 5 years later she got isekai'd into Welcome Home, She was different as she plays along very well and she's a bit gullible but shes still a fan fav and then 4 years later she got frickin murdered.

Yeaaaaaaahhhhh She's a bit vague but too bad she gave away a clue to dox her town lmao.

Okay so honestly. Im like… not a HUGE fan of any riptide ships really so the bar is kinda low but swordfish is my favorite absolutely. And now. I will preface this with its been a while since ive listened to riptide. But i will do my best!!

Okay well. Honestly. A big part of it is definitely projection, i relate to gillion and i find caspian attractive (do not ask me how i reacted when his official art dropped i may have gone insane) so obviously i am into it. But outside of that, i think caspian’s clear care for gillion and the way he seems to genuinely understand him in a way a lot of the other characters dont is really nice, he connects with gillion through their shared background but also encourages gillion to move past it and find himself outside of the undersea and the elders

The calls between them are also just very nice to me, and they just both have such a deep care and respect for each other that is very nice to see :3 also!! Destiny’s blade, caspian literally giving gillion the weapon to break the binds of destiny with and to rise above what he was raised for?? The SYMBOLISM

Also yes they’re just. Very aesthetically cute <3 i think when i first started looking at jrwi stuff on tumblr some very cute swordfish stuff was the first things i saw so it just subconsciously pushed me towards them. Like just. Imagining them dancing in the waters together or something…. God why cant i have that

There’s also just the thing that. I. Don’t really personally like fnc that much? Like i get it its a cute ship but i think i kinda have that problem with it of being just fine with it and then seeing too much stuff about it to the point it starts getting annoying :/ so i kinda just drifted towards swordfish more as i started liking fnc less. Absolutely nothing against fnc btw again i do get the appeal the nat 20 kisses and all but. Its just not for me

I've just been looking at Mystia's Izakaya order bonuses for different stores, for the purposes of adding them to the MFC database, and I figured I should share them here too since I do like a lot of them. Preorders close on February 22nd 2024, so if you really want the game and haven't ordered it yet, you have a few days left to do that as of the date of this post.

The image descriptions for everything in this post are in the alt text. I'll mention if I know a store ships worldwide, but I won't if I don't.

I've personally ordered through Amiami, so I'll cover that first, but before even that, here's an overview of the special edition.

First, you of course get the game. It's a switch game, nothing too unique about it in comparison to other switch games. The cover features some nice art of Mystia, Kyouko, Marisa and Reimu, with Youmu and Yuyuko in the background too. It looks like this art is also present on the box for the whole product, and it's featured on another piece of merch later in this post too.

Outside of the game, the special edition also comes with a figure strap of Mystia, some playing cards and a soundtrack. These items have been posted about on the game's steam page here, so feel free to read that if you want to know more about these specific items and see a more detailed image of them all.

Now onto store-specific bonuses, under the read-more:

Amiami

The Amiami bonus is an acrylic keychain of Reimu and marisa, featuring the art that's used for them in-game. I think it's nice that this bonus features characters from the game outside of Mystia and Kyouko, and you'll see that more later on as well.

Through Amiami, you can order the Special Edition, with all the items shared above, or the Regular Edition, with just the game and the order bonus. Or, if you just want the game, you can get that there too.

Amiami ships globally, so you can safely order from here outside of Japan no problem.

Amazon JP

Amazon JP's order for the game has two versions, one with a beer glass and a coaster, and one with only a coaster. The coaster features art from the game of Mystia and Kyouko, and the glass has a very small image of Mystia. I really like these bonuses, I think they're really fitting for the game.

Amazon JP has both limited and regular edition, as well as versions of both with no exclusive bonus, only the coaster or the coaster and glass. But you can choose from the items page, so I'll only link the one

Melonbooks

Melonbooks' bonus is an acrylic keychain of Flandre with her art from the game, which you can get with either the limited edition or regular edition.

I like this bonus. It's about on the same level as the Amiami bonus, it's cute and it's nice to see characters outside of Mystia and Kyouko be included.

I believe melonbooks can be bought from using a service such as Buyee, though I'd look into that yourself if you're interested in it.

Gamers

Gamers' bonus is a tin badge of Flandre. It also comes with some bromides of the EOSD cast. I don't have too much to say about these, I feel similarly to them as the other merch mentioned above

You can buy the limited edition version or the regular edition

and then we have Ebten. Oh boy.

Ebten

Ebten has two acrylic stands of Mystia and Kyouko, in their work uniforms, as well as a plate featuring Mystia and a tapestry of the game's cover art. There's also some bromides. I don't think there's any denying that this is the most impressive set of merch. Theres's a ton of items that're unique when compared to other stores. There's even MORE stuff availible if you go through all the different versions.

2) "a headcanon you weren't sure about at first but have come to like!" Creature headcanons. I did NOT like out-of-canon creaturifications of characters, but a friend drew anglerfish pac when i was going through my fitpac phase and now im like, ok. Maybe hes cute. (ill be honest im a little headcanon hater, i dont come to love many of them if ive started out not liking them lol)

8) "you hope more people will come to appreciate ___ (a ship, a trope, an episode, etc)" Etoiles tendency to just fucking leave. So many people talk about the things they love about him and yet no one mentions how his man just wanders off when theres more than 2 people talking in any situation. He will come back with a brief interjection but then leave again and hover on the outside of the social circle like a little weirdo. (<3)

6) "something you see in art a lot and love" The many, many designs for eggs. No matter if its just their egg model, a human or a dragon (or other) version, its always very creative and full of symbolism and colour. I especially love the Egg egg designs because nothing really captures the energy of the kids more than just. Egg.

I especially love pommes french flag cheeks and how people choose to play on them, and how chayannes ducky is made expressive <3

i think he's silly and funny and sily and i like him

me and my friend talk abt how dragunov's movements are so surgical, rehearsed, precise. they have such windups but when they connect they hit fast like a gunshot (the sound design helps sm with this imagery)

ive felt this way for tk7 but i love how after grapples he usually has little tactical ways to get back up

the automatic, reflexive way he fights is so cool (and attractive?! goes without saying i feel this way), he just wants to dispose of his opponent and get on with it, he's all business..

his heat startup and new rage art animation feels that way too, the glove adjust and the growl.. he's like let's get this shit done with already !!..

his heat smash shoulder bash too phwee!! <3 he uses all his body parts in such a intentional way.. he knows where and how to hit and hits hard

pair this with how he acts outside of business, he's always lost in thought and humming and in his own world.. its emphasised especially in tk8. i still love how he was a bit more ruthless in tk5-7, but i'd like to think bc he's on vacation he's a little more chill. he still has cold intros and outros tho, i forget how chilling the camera stare is supposed to be because i just think its cool </3

i always liked gap moe in my favs so yippie!

he's insanely attractive even to nonfans for a character whose design motifs revolve around the living dead; pale skin, dark lips, half lidded milky eyes (but they shine so cutely), sharp skeletal features. despite that he looks extremely chiselled its crazy.. i forget how much of a beast he is compared to the other male characters (incredibly tall.. like a scarecrow [scaring birds...no wonder the ravens have such a tough time w him] and i think one of the heaviest characters in the game)

apart from a few (nonromantic) relationships i like to think he's very solitary, so i'm not too interested in a lot of ships w him, but i usually dont care too much abt that stuff. theres like one and thats it lol. i just like seeing him be really cool. i am crazy fond of self ships like player/character, but thats mainly self indulgent and disconnected from canon..

even tho bryan and victor are my favs i like.. am not interested in them interacting seriously with him. dragunov's like toooo cool headed to really pay attention to them. i will forever love the idea that the raven unit has such a hard time with him but he doesn't really know any of them, like when he sees them he just feels like 'oh, it's them again. back to work.' with bryan too i like to think bryan likes him as per the ttt2 implication? but then gets bored because he just dispatches people too quickly and moves on, haha. a little ankle biter. i dont think dragunov is a sadist to the extent he is.

speaking of victor, in their intro, theres a little surprised squeak when he rolls out of the way of the attack, im not sure which of the two are making that noise but if its dragu EEK its super cute.

i had such a hibernation period with sergei when tk7 started declining, the difference between tk8 and 7 is insane im happy it stoked my love for him again

ohh yea and one more thing my friends keep teasing me abt his intro in the story mode, whenever i land a grapple we always quote "and SQUEEEEEZES the life out of them"

in more silly thoughts, i think he gives great hugs. i think his core/chest is very warm but his arms and legs are cold. maybe.

I haven't really gone down the rabbit hole of portal ships and I dont really ship characters outside of a few exceptions, but Ive always loved the relationship between -robot and their sad babygirl- so chelldos (is that what its called?) but not necessarily romantic (nothing against the romantic shippers, yall are great and romantic chelldos is also fun)

ALRIGHTY SO I am really bad at platformers/platform adjacent games and they stress me out typically, so the actual gameplay is gonna be a 7/10 but the story/characters/voice acting all 10/10

alrighty so one of my main interests is old vocal synths, so having HAL sing daisy bell (what is considered the first harmonized song said by a computer, the IBM 704/7094 part of the MUSIC-N series) was just so cool and we love it when the dying robot serenades his babygirl before death

got lost in a daydream today about my httyd oc (who im thinking of naming Amani? I have a list of names I typically go with for self insert characters in fantasy and that's one of them. let's go with that for now)

anyway i really wanted to write down the full scene but i lacked the energy so now i just have a vague recollection of it. i could turn these scenes into a multichapter fic but honestly idc how interested people are in reading a story thats essentially a self ship with dagur and sometimes hiccup

the scene takes place in the midpoint of the story, where dagur has just gotten himself locked up in outcast prison and the council on berserker island has just found out. amani (his wife) is freaking out because they dont have any heirs (yet - shes believes she's pregnant but pretty much no one knows yet) and she has a growing suspicion that some of the more powerful berserkers are going to try to get rid of her so that they can rule.

more below the cut that gets increasingly stream of consciousness

during the meeting she's trying her best to make herself look like a strong candidate without just outright making it clear that she knows most of them arent behind her. she announces the pregnancy and dispels any worries about how sure it is that the baby will make it to adulthood.

one particularly unpleasant member of the council makes a comment about barbaric archipelago winters being harsh - perhaps it is easy to survive in whatever sunny part of the world she's from, but in the north, babes must be hearty and strong to survive past infancy and childhood.

she demands if he's questioning the strength of dagur and oswalds bloodline and that makes him back down to a certain extent - but the reality she has to face is that dagur's gone and she really has no guarantee that the pregnancy will go well. and even if it does, just one heir with a mother most view as an outsider is still shaky ground

when council members question who will lead in dagurs absense, she says the council will lead until the situation with dagur is figured out - she has a plan to petition alvin about his imprisonment, but this is shot down because "berserkers dont ask for things - they take what they want" - this of course coming from someone she suspects has no real interest in dagur's freedom. if they were loyal to him, they might form a rescue team or even declare war - but she doubts that that will happen.

as the meeting goes on she can feel herself losing a good portion of the room. she also feels increasingly sick and she cant tell if its from worry or the pregnancy.

finally when the meetings finished she goes back to her house. and theennn there are some details i dont have figured out - theres an attempt on her life thats interrupted by a loyal guard or council member who then helps her find safe passage to an island somewhere further away (but still in or near the archipelago? idk. she doesnt go back to her homeland...perhaps because she doesnt want to risk travelling long distances and especially not while pregnant...but also...i kinda want her to be relatively nearby for the story)

uhh yeah i need a name for this story. realistically i wont have time to type it out in prose any time soon but i might make summaries of the most important moments and post those. maybe with some art? idk. i just really really like it

Hi, may I have a ship for Stranger Things, Marvel, and Harry Potter (specifically the marauders) . I go by she/her and am bi with no preference so any gender is fine.

I’m about 5’5, dark blue eyes, medium length hair thats kinda too dark to be dirty blonde but not so dark that its light brown with slightly lighter blonde highlights throughout. Ive been told I typically wear what would be considered 90s type of style but leaning away from more feminine things tho I’m not opposed to dresses and all.

I do get pretty anxious when thrown in certain situations rather that be talking to a group of people or just one person. But on occasion and definitely when I get to know someone I never stop talking. I am a ranter and rambler which means I could be ranting about something that happened and then start talking about something else that may or may not be related to the original subject. Basically I will always find something to talk about though I do enjoy listening to other people talk. I am considered the mom friend because I tend to be the most logical. Im also a very determined, stubborn person who usually is kinda pessimistic but still has a huge imagination. And despite all the anxiety I am usually a relatively confident person and am not afraid to take up for anyone I care about. Also I am pretty good in school despite having a kinda bad memory. Also an INTJ, Sagittarius, and Ravenclaw.

I absolutely love writing and have for the longest time rather that be random original stories I make up or the various fanfics I have(lol). I also love drawing and painting and recently realized I’m actually pretty good at making art related to animals and the occasional landscape. I’ve also been a big music fan since I was a kid, I honestly dont know what I would do without it. I also really enjoy reading when I get the chance, like I could spend hours getting consumed by whatever I’m reading. Which also travels into me when I’m watching things. As in I spend a good bit of time just binge watching new or old shows. I also really like walking around and enjoying nature. Theres a few nature trails I love going on and would go to the zoo every weekend if I had the chance. Which also goes along to my love for animals. Also I do like going to random places with my friends.

Stranger Things: Jonathan! (I don’t know how other people feel about him but I think he’s a good character outside of S1) He’s not much of a talker but I think once you start rambling or just talking about different things he’ll jump in with you. Music is also a big thing for him, so he’ll have a mixtape for everything. Most would be related to you somehow, whether it's songs that remind him of you or songs that he loves and wants to share with you. You guys could find new places in Hawkins to adventure around. Like finding new trails that you guys can walk and he can take pictures of the scenery. He’d have you and Will’s art all over his room. Joyce would totally have a piece of your artwork on the fridge.

Marvel: Yelena! (I’ve yet to watch Black Widow, forgive me, but I think I have a good handle on her character) I think you're personal styles would mesh well together. She also seems to be a bit of a rambler so you guys could take turns talking about different things and it would never fizzle out. I think she would like going to different places with you, definitely the zoo. I get the vibe from her that she would just love it and you guys would end up going at least once a week. If you're the type to make playlists for people she would be obsessed with it. Like if you made her one it would be all she’d listen to and would make sure everyone knows that you made it for her. A great thing about her is I think she’d be able to help with your anxiety, she's one of those people that when she's around no matter the situation, your anxiety kind of melts away.

Marauders: Remus Lupin! Total Remus vibes and he’d love a Ravenclaw. He’s also a writer and would adore your stories and creating new ones with you. I think he’d enjoy listening to you talk about things that you like, no matter what that thing is. Honestly I think he’d love binge watching shows, he’d probably get really immersed in whatever you're watching. Remus also has mom energy, so having another person with that energy around could help you guys loosen up a little bit. Remus is a huge music fan and would constantly make you new playlists that remind him of you. Also, you're style would match well with his I think.

hi im asking u this bc u seem to be bee duo enthusiast so

ive been calling c! beeduos relationship platonic because i thought that was what their cc’s said, and i thought they had said that they were uncomfortable with ppl shipping the characters. But ive seen a lot of posts that say their relationship is canonically romantic? and i absolutely do not want to come across as homophobic by watering down a mlm relationship to just friends because that happens so much in media so.

what is the canon state of their relationship / ur opinions on the platonic thibg

aw it’s totally fine, im flattered you asked me about this!

let me put it simply: it’s a whole mess, lol.

first im going to talk about what’s happened fandom-wide that caused differing opinions, and then i’ll explain my own opinion/interpretation. :]

(this got really fucking long im so sorry)

ranboo and tubbo initially proclaimed the relationship was romantic, specifically in argument with the wiki editors who had set it as platonic by default. (you can see this in the vod where they decide they’re canonically married— it’s very funny. chat tells them the marriage is already on the wiki, they check, tubbo is jokingly offended that it says platonic and asks if he needs to up the romance).

tubbo also makes jokes about adultry, which sort of implies the relationship is not necessarily a platonic one.

(theres definetly more in that stream alone but it’s been a long time since i watched it so i don’t remember a lot of it.)

the wiki, because of this, suffers from going back and forth on platonic and romantic, seemingly unsure where the joke ends and the canon begins, or if its canonically a joke! a mess, as you can already tell.

this gets more complicated as the marriage bit goes on: outsiders, such as phil and scott, both at one point say “platonic marriage”, which then ranboo and tubbo agree with. however, when chat asks them if they’re platonic, they say the opposite. so there is a lot of confusion there.

there’s also the difficulty of being able to tell streamers and characters apart. ranboo and tubbo both don’t like being shipped irl, and that’s their boundaries that shouldn’t be crossed. (they’re also minors, but tbh when they’re 18 in a year i will still be following their boundaries regardless of their legal age).

due to people not wanting to be accused of minor shipping, they started adding the platonic tone indicator to most of their drawings— basically a way of saying “no homo”. meanwhile, tubbo frequently on stream flirts with ranboo and makes quite a bit of nsfw comments towards him that are frankly hilarious.

this goes on for a while with nobody really sure what’s canon, but a lot of people assuming it’s probably platonic, until: the drama of the mods night. a few mods dmed all the wiki editors telling them ranboo wanted his canon character relationship officially set to platonic.

unfortunately for those mods; the very same day, a few hours later, ranboo on stream makes fun of puffy delivering him and tubbo “friendship flowers”. because, and i quote, “bruh. we’re literally married. this must be how the ancient greeks felt.”

in case you don’t know, the internet often jokes about how historians will call ancient greeks ‘very good friends’ when they are quite obviously gay. so in this context, ranboo is joking that people will call him and c!tubbo, who are married, “close friends”, when he doesn’t think they are.

basically, ranboo canonized romantic bee duo, the very same day the mods told everyone he’d wanted a platonic one.

chaos and drama immediately erupted everywhere. on tumblr, we were talking about how weird it was of his mods to do something like that without asking him first. we ALSO talked about how weird it was of them to assume that ranboo can’t make his own decisions, or assume teenagers cannot be in relationships without it being sexual. twitter did the same thing but in the opposite direction: called ranboo mods homophobic, or said they were mad ranboo felt pressured into making a romantic relationship canon ‘just so people could have mlm rep.’

i dont want to go into detail about the drama that happened that night because apparently official people follow me and i dont want to stir it up or have them come “clarify” things. im just saying what we talked about.

ranboo in typical ranboo fashion apologized quickly and seriously. he was deeply sorry for possibly offending anyone with how he’d portrayed his rp relationship with tubbo, and he also assured everyone the mod thing was just a miscommunication.

he said he would talk to tubbo and they’d decide once and for all whether it was platonic or romantic, and then announce so everyone would know.

it’s now been a few months and we've had no word from them on that development. we still have no clue.

now, here’s my opinion:

i want to take ranboos word for it that it was a miscommunication with his mods, but... we had it on good authority from people on the wiki team and people in the discord with the mods that (while it was happening) they were really going after the wiki admins, and also made some weird comments about it. that combined with the way ranboo seemingly had no clue (considering he canonized their romance that very same day).... it’s very. sus of the mods.

then there’s the canon we’ve got since then. although occasionally adults in the room have called it a “platonic marriage” and tubbo once (back when it first started) called it a “plankton tectonic” marriage, in roleplay it’s been... kind of not that. tubbo and ranboo make nsfw jokes about each other in character, and their characters also share a master bedroom and bed in the mansion. there's also the way c!tommy really thinks it’s a romance between them as well, and they agree with and play off that— for instance confirming that they “fell in love” when he asked, or ranboo confirming that they “make out on occasion”.

people will still put platonic on their art and posts, imo, because they’re worried about breaking ranboo and tubbo’s irl boundaries by looking like they ship them. or even just being accused of shipping real life minors. and that’s a valid fear to have.

the thing is though: c!bee duo are not cc!bee duo. they’re roleplay characters. cc!bee duo are not okay with being shipped, but they made their characters get canonically married, and call each other “husbands”. so it’s okay to write the word “husband” in your comic without adding “platonic” to it, i promise.

telling the ccs that their characters have to be platonic is... weird. it comes off as not only babying them, but also as saying teens can’t date without it being gross. which isn’t true.

(this is why seeing people overuse “platonic husband” so much bothers me. like, they ARE husbands. you can just say it. what are you trying to hide...?)

do i think they’re canonically romantic? ehh, its likely. it’s still okay to interpret them as platonic, because again, it’s hard to tell where jokes end and roleplay begins. like, maybe it’s jokes in the rp too, and c!bee duo are just friends. friends can and should be allowed to make jokes like that with each other! aro & ace marriages exist!

or, maybe it’s actually part of the rp, and they’re very much romantic. we don’t know!

some people say they could be a qpr (queerplatonic romance), which i could see. (a qpr is a relationship that fluctuates between, or can’t quite be sorted into, “romantic” and “platonic”. people in a qpr can do romantic things while having platonic feelings for each other). in my opinion this is a very valid interpretation as well!

CONCLUSION (sorry this got so long omfg):

are c!bee duo romantic?

its likely, but you can still interpret them however you like!

should i put /p on bee duo content?

ehhh? i find it annoying when it’s overused (as do others), but if you’re worried you can. its up to preference. putting it too much is weird though

should i put /p on things cc! bee duo do?

no. you’re not the one saying it so you can’t decide the tone tags for that. imagine you said something to your friend and a random stranger came up and was like “haha but that was /p right...?”

can i ship c!bee duo?

mmm. i’m not sure on this one. they are canonically married and very flirtatious, but the ccs don’t like being shipped and they’re close enough to being the ccs that actively shipping might be against boundaries.

can i treat c!bee duo as romantic?

yes. literally just don’t be weird about it. it’s not that hard! you can understand that two characters are husbands without making it weird

here’s the most important thing: boundaries. cc bee duo still haven’t told us what their preferences and canon is about this whole thing.

right now, i am assuming based on what they already show us they’re comfortable with, but! the second they give us any more info! all these opinions will change!

i am only going off what they do. i would never want to cross boundaries at all. i just wish they would make theirs a little more clear.

i used to be in the boboiboy fandom but now i just want out bcs honestly the community fucking sucks.

big stans for this fucking fandom are in a delusion where the fandom is like a safe heaven bcs its all nice and "respectful" but in reality its just toxic positivity. The fandom just tries so hard to make it such a safe space to the point where u cant have any negative opinions about the show or the fandom like ever. Event tho its a completely fine thing to have different opinions but ppl take it the wrong way to say that its shitting on a show or were demanding things from the creators.

Ngl its mostly bcs how the fandom tries so hard to be kiss ass to monsta for whetherver reason. Sure its kidda fun having the creators being inclusive in the community itself but its to the point where some people take it too far to care about the feelings of a COMPANY.

I think it originated from the fanimonsta server. For the studio itself they have a set of rules for the employees to abide to. (strictly for employees) which is no shipping the characters what so ever. No nsfw/gore. Mostly need to be family friendly.

Which is totally fine for them to do cuz yeah its for the company. But those rules has somehore ingrained with the boboiboy fandom. Bcs in the fanni server they basicly use the same set of rules, I can understand for a server that consist alot of monstaff the rules make sense. HOWEVER, bcs how big the fanimonsta server influence has on the fandom, alot of fans took those rules outside of the server as well. Even tho they sayyyy its fine if u post ships outside the server for some reason it just feels wrong to post ships? or admit your posting ships?. I've felt like whenever i draw ships and theyre in a slightly nsfw situation it feels like a lot ppl are judging you in the fandom when the post gets blew up. Bcs then you feel paranoid of the creators of the show would look at your art, and ppl talk behind your back.

Thats another thing too when monstaff are so in the circle of the community, you feel like theres no privacy to actually post or talk about fandom stuff. Even if your a small acc with no following, you post and negative opinion, suddenly everyone knows about it. Even the staffs knows about despite not using any sort of tags. It feels so restrictive when your too scared to even open up a fandom talk when large pair of eyes just stalks ur every move. Bcs then those big people/ monstaff would actually give a shit about ur own opinion. Taking it as an insult rather just taking the critism with grace.

The fandom is not a fandom. Its just an extension of monsta the studio. Bcs unkowingly the studio actually controls on how the fandom is like. amd the fans are the ones whos getting chock hold by them bcs they cant have a say on anything or post what they really want to bcs of this weird cult like behaviors with the fans where they think bbb is perfect.

Thats why i hate being in this community. Despite actually enjoying the show and characters, i just cant have a fun in a community that cares so much about what a company fucking wants.
