i was going to come back to tumblr yesterday, but i’ve decided that i’m actually going to postpone until the weekend:

this last week has been horrible, n my thoughts have been left an absolute mess. my youngest cat passed away a week ago, n then our eldest was v unsettled, so we ended up making the call to welcome a new edition to the family, who came home on sunday evening, so i’m surviving on v little sleep rn bc after five years, i’ve forgotten just how much work kittens are. i also started my new job this week, so a lot of stuff has been happening, but i’ve been managing to not cry everyday, so we’re improving ;-;

i’m most definitely looking forward to interacting with people again, but i just wanted to say a big thanks to those who were kind enough to send messages/asks—i know that i’ve not replied yet, but i’ll definitely get to it soon, but i really appreciate every single one of them ♡

i hope that you’re all doing well, n i look forward to coming back soon. stay safe n healthy ♡

sorry I've not been on here a lot, especially to all those I've been mid conversation with. I love you all, things have just been all over the place. so here's an update that no one asked for

I got sick and then I got covid 😐 my mountaineering training and general fitness tanked

Work imploded and I took time off for my mental health

Went on a holiday mostly off grid and healed my soul, but broke my body with a week of skiing

Had a very unexpected death in the family, which unfortunately has made a significant impact to my/my mum's life

Consistently back at work, but still not having a good time 🙃

Won a 5 trip away which I'll be taking in a few weeks I never win anything!

Going to my first concert in forever tonight, so excited to see Midnight Oil!

Amongst all of this I've done some writing and I really hope I get time to finish it and share it with you!
