i feel like reader would start acting a bit creepy, Like for example Scara would usually just have you wait outside the building for him to come back from changing his attire back into his suit after you two 'spar' but reader insisted to wait for him 'outside the changing room' Scara thought you we're trying to act like a tease as usual and say things around 'hmm? "Tsk. Another boring ass day coming to aclose.." He'd say while turning off his favorite song, bohemian rhapsody. He adjusts his tie while opening the door to see you with a big smile on your face. With his already needed paperwork you got from his 'bestie' childe. "The fuck is all this?" "Its your paperwork for the week master~ I already filled it all out for you and childe helped me-" He snatched it away from you." "Alright shit..You dont have to act like such a fucking nerd y/n."

The both of you walked through narukami island, through the outskirts to inazuma city while a bunch of nobushi tried to ambush you. With one swift draw of your weapon you murdered them all in one blow. Scara barely shifted his eyes away from his paper. Only to see your bloodthirsty smile as the nobushi rogue samurai began to cough up blood. He was use to seeing and experiencing reactions like this due to him always being around childe when they train within the abyss. But you. Something was off about you lately.

Scara would purposely drag you into the abyss when its usually just him and childe. He whispered to childe, pointed at a group of abyss creatures and said that they 'are after him' and the both of them would watch as you rabidly charged at his 'enemys' like a dog. Blood splatters all over your suit as you laughed at their pathetic attempts to try and get a free hit at you.

"Hey comrad! How are ya' today?" The ginger said while sitting next to you in the hallway waiting room. "IM great childe! Me and kuni went out to eat today and it was so much fun. i was just wondering if you had any tips for first year students and how to manage time? i think that’s the aspect i have been struggling with the most is time management and getting enough sleep rn.

So, how to manage your time:

tbh I haven't understood it that well myself. Personally im a little time blind, so i coordinate my schedule based on tasks i have to do, instead of time.

So instead of: study physics for an hour, it could be something like: understand The Schrödinger equation or study 40 pages.

My only time blocks are: morning, afternoon (before snack time, before dinner) and before going to bed. Which i particularly like since it's more flexible, and if i didn't manage to accomplish everything, i can just move it a bit, instead of ruining the whole thing.

My planner usually looks like this: (it's a bit light, since i had classes all day both monday and today, but you get the idea)

But if you like to study in time blocks, my tip is to give them space to be flexible. So if you delay smth it doesn't ruin your entire schedule, and you won't be so stressed about the time as well.

For example, you think you'll take 1h to do this assignment? Save 1h30 for it, if you end up actually needing this extra time, then you're still in time. If you only needed 1h, you can take a break and move to your next task earlier than planned.

Alarms are a student's best friend for time tracking. And a bonus advantage is that it also forces me not to be on my phone, since i set the alarm in there, and it's a visual reminder that i should be working.

Another important thing to do is to ✨ prioritize✨ your tasks!! Your final exam is way more important than a report that's only 10% your grade. Sure, if you can do both it's perfect, but don't waste too much time perfecting smth that's not that important.

Oh, and if you feel like the way your professor explains isn't doing it for you, just forget about that class! It's a waste of time to be 2 hours in a classroom, not even understanding what the professor is saying and stressing about it. Just find some good notes, and study them in the library during that time instead.

Also, for the not enough sleep problem. I feel you. That was me in the second semester of 1st year. I would lose track of time, sometimes just procrastinating, and forget to sleep. My solution for that is ✨alarms✨. I usually wake up at 7:30, so everyday i have an alarm set for 23:00 to remind myself to go to sleep, and another for 24:00, just in case i ignored the first one lol. Really improved my sleep schedules.

(And a little extra (tho i intend to do a bigger post about this soon)

1st year tips in general: Find ways to be interested in your classes, so it's easier to study. Watch documentaries about it, discuss stuff with ppl that love that subject. Even if you are learning how to solve integrals so you can help your crush - totally not talking from experience. If it get's you motivated, then that's all that matters. DONT BE AFRAID TO ASK QUESTIONS!!! I promise your professors aren't judging you, and if your classmates are, well, they won't be judging anymore when you ace that test. And force yourself to take breaks. I would put on my t.do list to watch an episode of a series daily, bc i would be so stressed i would forget to do that. And taking breaks it's super important.)

i also wanted to address the super sweet notes you wrote on your original ask that had me smiling like an absolute fool, btw!!!! so first off: THANK YOU AND IM SO GLAD YOU AGREE!!!!! listen, the canon dynamic between these two has always given me a very severe case of brain rot, and the ways in which that dynamic can be removed from canon and smacked into any au is just soooooo juicy. and while yes i do adore airhead spain with all my heart, i do see it as very reductive to his character and who he actually is. and this also kinda bleeds into answering this ask, so yay! two birds one stone!

my entire thing with these two is the fact that spain is, at his core, an empire. god, gold, glory. that was his whole thing, ruthlessly so. and while yes i do believe the nations dont personify their governments and instead represent the best of their people, it would be foolish to ignore what it means for spain (and antonio) to be the spanish empire, bloody, greedy, damned, troubled, all of it. and that bleeds a lot into how i imagine antonio to be!

antonio (and spain) will always carry a lot of guilt to me. he acts sweet and bubble and sunshiny, and i do think he genuinely is that way naturally, but a lot of it is also an attempt to distance himself from what he used to be, either from guilt, from wanting others to forget, or for whatever reason. who he is in current day is not who he was, but its still there and it is something he grapples with constantly. so, in the vein of my pirate au, antonio as a pirate is someone who is angry.

hes angry at the world, hes angry at his government, hes angry at the state of life for anyone who isnt wealthy and born into generational status, hes angry at the favoritism, at the restrictions, at everything. hes someone who wants freedom. spain as a character doesnt like to be restrained, hated his forced job of folding flowers, hated he couldnt do more when he was once so powerful (to the point where america even said anytime spain was near him hed try and hit him with his knees, so clearly he knows how to hold a grudge) and antonio would feel a lot of resentment to the state of the world as it exists around him but unable to change it—until he can

and lovino, who is angry but for so many other reasons. lovino, who is born into a gilded cage that he cant even touch, lovino, whose entire life was built around his younger (legitimate) brother who will one day inherit everything his grandfather passes on that lovino cannot have, even if they do love him, even if they do cherish him and give him an education and steady work and a comfortable life. but thats not enough, and why would it be? his name is worthless in this society. he barely exists outside of his small family, and whenever he's there, there is always the elephant in the room of none of this is mine, none of this will ever be mine. so yes hes angry, hes resentful, but hes also stuck. where can he go, realistically, when this is all hes ever known? and he loves his family. hes loyal, hes caring, he adores his family. he just also resents them because they are everything he can never be. (and i do throw seborga into the brothers. they are a trio to me and they always will be!)

so when they meet, when antonio sees this little angry brat with so much pent up aggression start barking insults at him in front of his own crew, how can he not be fascinated by that? and he sees someone wearing a shiny family crest of a prominent venetian family, and its so easy to him. take him, maybe teach him some respect, dump him in italy, get some money, and fuck off to the ocean again for the next prize.

and it would work if they both werent so fucking stupid at the same time. bc just like romano and spain, these two are two sides of the same dumb ass spectrum. angry and hopeful with different styles of attachment that fit just perfectly enough to make it feel clandestine. two people who could just so happen to understand where the other is coming from, with enough understanding to get it. and suddenly theyre not so different after all, are they, considering they both got screwed over in life, forced into roles they didnt want until someone gave them an out, until they give each other an out.

and then it becomes a lot less about stealing from the world and keeping it for themselves as it is giving each other the world, wealth and riches that belong to them and them alone, an open ear and willing hands and the understanding that antonio would rip the stars from the sky and temper raging oceans for lovino if he asked, hoping only for lovino to love him in return and choose to stay, to seek freedom and something different.

its entirely selfish and dangerous and doomed to fail from the start, which we as people in 2024 know, but its romantic in its desperation and honest in how actual real life pirates were furious with their lives and were entirely fucked over after the war of spanish succession, and while yes most of those pirates were english (and arthur is a big player in this story too, obvi), spain did have its fair share, esp in retaliation to what the english were doing to spanish treasure ships.

Hey, I know you’re on hiatus but when you get back if you could take a look at this and get back to me that’s be great.

in a way, I am very upset at Thomas as well, I still love the series and I do miss it, and a lot of the stuff he has done and said is pretty not-okay ( especially still supporting HP, but that may be more of a nostalgia thing than actually supporting it, I have a lot of memories from when I was a scmol child with HP and a lot of them include my mom, so I look back on them as good ones, but my views on JKR and her works have most certainly changed in support of my trans friends, I don’t even read her stuff anymore and certainly don’t support her) . Now, with the episode taking THREE YEARS. That isn’t okay, I’m sort of a creator as well ( I hope to write comics one day) and burnout and creators block suck. BUT YOU DONT GET CREATORS BLOCK FOR THREE YEARS. I can understand if there is some other things in Thomas’s life going on but the video’s still shouldn’t have been consistent, you have a Patreon for a reason and yet people keep paying for nothing! I will probably watch the new episode when it comes out, but I don’t know really how I feel, I still love the series but I’m not okay with the way Thomas is handling it! tumblr tips & things!

after growing rlly fast, i just wanted to provide some maybe helpful tips + things you could do if you’re a smaller blog! i am in no means an expert, I am still learning but this is what i’ve learned, specifically abt the mcyt tumblr community

disclaimer you DO NOT have to follow these, these are what ive learned and my opinion, but i think most writers can agree on this

its a lot of info im sorry ajdba but feel free to reblog and add ur own info!

1. tags!

theyre superrr important if you want exposure for your works + writing pieces, just make sure to tag accordingly

meaning: do not cross tag, or main tag, (ex do not tag just dream alone) keep ‘x reader’ content under the ‘x reader tags’

^people get uncomfortable with x readers and sometimes they slip through the filtered tags

my go-tos for tags are mcyt or cc name then the following prefixes- x reader, x y/n, x you, fanfic, fanfiction

if you have a fic for dream, DO NOT TAG george, it makes it confusing

also tags for ur random posts r super helpful because if someone doesnt want to see it, they can filter it out (my talking tag is basilly blabs)

adding a tag for the ppl you interact for! i like doing this cuz i can easily search a tag on my blog to see my prev interactions w/ them (ex. if i interact w/ userA then i tag userA’s username)

2. create some sort of brand

of course u can switch it up, but using ur own theme makes ur work recognizable to others

like mine is my banner- i use it on every of my works + important posts, so ppl can recognize me

banners can be found on the internet or twitter (but pls credit the artist w/ permission) i found mine on google

for super thin page dividers, i use ibis paint (mobile app) and made a super thin canvas (3405x57) and filled it w/ my theme color

3. plspls dont beat yourself up for rejecting requests or feeling uncomfortable

you are not forced to write requests, if they make you feel uncomfortable you can decline

also if you’re not happy with the work, you can spend the time to revise + edit, we will wait for work you are happy with!

+ if you are stuck with some details on writing smth, ask a mutual or others! more brains and more ideas!

4. same goes for writers block & health issues

we all get it sometimes, no one is pressuring you and if they are, its your blog, you decide. and your health matters more

5. the mcyt tumblr community is SUPER NICE

if u wanna be moots aka mutuals (follow each other) literally shoot them any message and they’ll respond so kindly

ive talked to so many incredible moots who I absolutely adore theyre so kind

also interacting w/ moots: they can reblog your work, creating exposure but do not expect reblogs, and same to you we are not expected to reblog

6. please check a cc’s boundaries before writing

@/smp-boundaries has a majority listed, and if not, ask!

7. if u have any questions, just ask!

lots of ppl will not even mind that much, like i said theyre super kind

8. navigation + masterlists!!

super important for everyone to see your rules, works, all put into one spot, it makes it 10x easier

9. backup ur works + asks

tumblr can be glitchy so its always helpful to back up works on google docs or smth similar

having ur whole fic deleted is not fun and demotivating

asks can be backed up by sending them to ur linked email- this has helped loads for me

10. dont worry too much abt likes + follows

all blogs start out small and as you go and keep persisting, ppl will start noticing + following, its all abt perseverance + trust the process

even when fics r rllllyy good, tumblr has its own bad days and u get low notes- dont let this discourage you

11. anonymous asks!

some ppl get nervous and request on anon! personally think theres more requests that way

12. small text or read mores!

internet is a great help w/ this and itll give you guides and step by step instructions

mobile also is a lot harder to make an aesthetic blog, so a laptop or pc or chromebook is super helpful

13. for max notes, post at ‘prime times’

i think the queue tells u when the prime time is to post for ur time zone, but also a google search is super helpful

or, guess and check! trial and error- i did this and found the best time to post for me

once you find it, you can schedule or queue your work so it posts for you!

14. if there’s sensitive topics pls add TW and CW

as writers yes we try to cover some topics that ppl request but we dont want to trigger others, so at the top include TW// (trigger warning) or CW// (content warning) and add a cut or read more

do not put CW or TW on content creators- no matter how bad they are, its rude and dehumanizing

15. Formatting is SUPER important!

if you do not separate your lines of dialogue or paragraphs, chances are people WILL skip over it. it makes it hard to read and sometimes it is’t worth people’s time

rule of thumb is make a new paragraph every time someone speaks and indicate who is talking or make is distinguishable!

if your fic is over 500 words, id add a cut as well! if you dont know how:

on mobile: type :readmore: in a new paragraph and hit enter w/out a space after the readmore

pc/laptop: new paragraph, three dots far right

Smut also def has its own set of rules but i am not a nsfw blog- main things i can say is please add cuts and check for cc’s boundaries

-Vintage struggled with anorexia for years. He was starting a recovery when Skull broke up with him. Despite them being on bad terms, Skull hated seeing Vintage suffer, so he did his best to make sure he didn't relapse- getting him food, letting him vent.. hell, even making sure he got into therapy to help him somewhat. Vintage is still rather thin, but he's been eating normally for a few years now. Skipped meals are rare as even when he's on a case Skull, Avi, or Watersplat will drop by wherever he's working to make sure he eats.

ONE: There are some times delays because of me attending my college degree classes, also homework, projects, online classes etc.📱🖥💻

I have been having this issues for 2 years and one of the reasons Im scared to share my stuffs bc I fear JUDGY PEOPLE AND TOXIC PEOPLE, I maybe old but i have feelings too....such as Anxiety, Art Block, Trauma, Stress, Depression, Insomnia, Mental Abuse by a few IRL people here in IRL, Guilt trip, Emotional Scars, Etc.

Reason why I made Snowy as a enjoyment for me to do and make to escape this CRUEL FEELINGS and CRUEL REALITY I'm having in life, whenever I drew people's characters and my ocs I feel free....secure and safe...also put a smile on to my face.

I have been all over other medias and ended up being judged by my oc telling me they're waaayyyy off! And IM SICK OF ITTT!

I don't want that to happened, I already had a massive trauma about it

The reason why I was on tumblr because I was so tired being in another media of people judging my work, I was trying to run away from them...

Now things changed now I'm happy to be here in Tumblr... I met many people finally UNDERSTANDS, APPRECIATE, LOVE, AND ADORE my work... Even I'm not yet good enough.

I felt free and I feel I'm home in this site. I wish to stay here AS LONG AS I STILL LIVE,

I have an illness that I carry within my health IRL and I don't wanna tell because I don't wish to worry you all my little angels... 😣😞😢

BUT DONT WORRY I'm okay i have been having checkups and I been taking medications and being careful and still FIGHTING on surviving☺️💙🌼✨✨

If all your life's are stressing u all bc of being busy and school all i can say is no matter how many times u all tumble down, you all should always rise up never give up continue and always remember and strive for that dream and desires you all wish for ur future...youre all directors and maker of your own path and destinies, and no matter how cruel our world is but there is always a new beginning...and start and it's okay to cry feel hurt it's part of the challenges and trials in life...but we're all still here standing and surviving.

IM VERY proud of you all and sooo happy for everyone's achievements and goals u all did irl keep going onward...embrace your future and continue to dream strive and always stay the real you, don't ever give up, embrace your talents and gifts, and keep smiling.

 i just think that even with powers, the team of young justice in the same high school is such a wonderful concept because they’re teens and they most definitely have the potential and right now i can’t place many words together but like.. i MUST elaborate on most aspects of these little shits being high school freshmen/sophomores.

Bart literally writes everything with just a pencil and then you have Kon who just likes to write in blue/red/black pens, tim is a mix of blue/pencil/ocassional-marker -he-steals-from-cissie, Cassie writes with like.... purple and blue pens,,, Greta just has a black pen but her notes are literal heaven because she steals everything from cissie and cissie is 1000% the sorta bitch that has her markers categorized by color but then bart borrows them and mizes up the caps and also cissie has gel pens and her handwriting is pretty af so like everyone copies of of her

As unlikely as it sounds, Bart does NOT cheat at tests, because then max would like... give him SO many lectures and it’s SUCH  pain in the ass so he just doesn’t (this does not limit chaos). Cassie doesn’t cheat because nO but then Cissie and Kon???? they’re buddies in that sorta thing and you know EXACTLY what i mean when i say that Kon has written answers in the skin that shows from his ripped jeans (the ones that he always gets in trouble for wearing, because as much as the school protocole just says ‘jeans’, they do NOT mean ripped jeans that have paint on them), and Cissie on her thighs and under the uniform socks, and they do the whole bandaid trick, and they even have their own weird sign language that takes WAAAAY too long to like even send the word ‘wassup’ because it goes letter by letter but its subtle so it works

fucking HOME EC is kon’s favourite subject and you’d think that kon would be in like... woodworking because most guys are in woodworking but NO kon went in home ec because ‘the chicks are there’ but NOOOO KON JUST LIKES BAKING AND HE GOT SHAMED ONCE FOR NOT KNOWING TO SEW A BUTTON ON HIS SHIRT SO NOW HE WANTS TO LEARN and guess what he absolutely LOVES it and he’s in with greta because cissie is with cassie and tim in woodworking, and besides, they don’t even have the same classes

they always make like cookies and kon hates it because he can’t eat his mf cookies in peace because he has home ec right after the lunch hour and while cassie does like to go out of class bart and cissie just eat all the cookies and leave kon to split with tim 

FUCKING VOLLEYBALL TEAM BITCH but also literally all sports the school has to offer because Kon LOVES his jock reputation (that also bakes cookies and is kicking ass at home ec) and tim desperately needs to deal off anger with sports because the big bad wolf drake demands he also gets involved

Cissie quit the cheerleading team like the first month but greta loved it, and cassie just hates it SO much but he likes watching practices because girls (oh and greta gets really excited all the time and they love it) 

,,,volleyball yj,,, is something i MUST HAVE OKAY PLEASE DON’T TAKE IT AWAY FROM ME I JUST SAW THIS BEAUTIFUL PIECE OF ART SO I MUST ELABORATE OKAY also volleyball’s the only sport i semi-know how to play so like bear with me but i havent played in like a year so shut up (here’s the link)

KON JUST DOESN’T KNOW A LIFE IN WHICH HE DOESN’T SPIKE THAT BOY LITERALLY WILL SPIKE ANYTHING YOU THROW AT HIM OKAY i don’t make the rules (but you know who does? cassie. cassie makes the rules because she’s scary and the rules include no fucking powers on the court--unless they’re losing then kon can use his tAcTiLe TeLeKiNeSiS)

CASSIE IS MIDDLE BLOCKER because shes TALL and also she gets front view of the opposing teams and like. girls. AND ALSO YOU NEED CORE STRENGTH FOR BLOCKING AND LIKE cassie is close to having more abs than kon i swear im not making this up

TIM SETS BECAUSE he’s the only one that can mantain that boring position also he’s good at it (also he wears fingerless gloves because iT hElPs hIm but really he want to look badass

BART IS LIBERO ALL THE WAY THROUGH OKAY BOY LOVES DIVING AND also he can heal quicker from like hits in the face (he has his kneepads that he wears EVERYWHERE and he even has a headband for his hair and his arm thingies and everything and his jersey is just written with signatures because everyone loves him

CISSIE IS ALSO LIBERO OKAY SHE LOOOVES VOLLEYBALL and she can DIVE and sometimes she forgets to bring up her kneepads so you KNOW that her knees are broken but she doesnt care (she also switches with server and her serves are literally like from fucking hell its beautiful

greta doesn’t play she refuses to play and everyone respects that but she also has like the bags with water-bottles and the jersey ones 

EDIT: FUCKING DUMBASSES HERE GOT THEIR UNIFORMS MIXED UP AND TIM IS LIKE ONE SIZE SMALLER THAN KON AND CASSIE AND CISSIE AND BART ARE THE SAME (and tim but like bear with me) AND THEN ONE DAY THEY GOT THEIR UNIFORMS MIZED UP AND THERE WAS KON WITH MINISHORTS and dumbass didn’t notice but like everyone else sure did 

BECAUSE they’re in the same team they just... share a locker that wasn’t used, with a little dollarama (dollar tree? idk but the dollar store) lock and then bam that’s the team locker (team as in them not the volleyball team) and there they keep like... bags of chips and chocolate bars with like... gym clothes and sneakers (which if you ask me is a horrible idea to like... place around 12 stinky shoes with granola bars and snacks and gym clothes but like hey dont ask me its them)

AND I READ THIS ARTICLE BUT I ALSO SAW A POST ON INSTAGRAM ABOUT THIS GIRL, Erin DiMeglio, WHO PLAYS FOOTBALL AND IS THE ONLY GIRL ON THE TEAM AND ALSO HER GIRLFRIEND IS A CHEERLEADER SO LIKE.,,,,, TELL ME THAT YOU DON’T IMAGINE CISSIECASSIE (or plain old cissie and cassie if you dont feel like shipping them) but like... cissie quit the team... and she doesn’t want to go back... and cassie’s like wow okay i see you AND ALSO TIM IS ON THE FOOTBALL TEAM and kon doesn’t wanna join (tbh he’s more of a football dood yk?) and bart called cissie a chicken and went cheerleader for cassie himself (skirt and everything, max was proud) so like cassie has her own team of cheerleaders and then tim is just :/// (here’s the article go read it)
