Surprise‼️ This is so much fun! This was my first time growing this very rare Petmecky Indian flour corn from @victoryseeds The story is that it was given to the Petmecky family from the Comanche, and they grew it for many years. Opening the ears is a lot of fun, because there are different colors in each one. Like opening little surprises 😃 They are all so beautiful!!! Will most likely save a lot of this harvest for seed, but also looking forward to trying this as popcorn and corn flour! Until then, I'll enjoy its beauty 🌽 I so appreciate the seed companies saving these wonderful heirloom varieties that are fun, beautiful, delicious and so important for us to carry on.
