Screaming into the void about DR España time
DRAG RACE ESPAÑA S2 FINALE SPOILERS!!!!!!
Drag race España was and remains the superior franchise!! S1 was a 10/10 already but S2 raised the bar to astronomical levels. Petition for them to adopt the AS7 point format cause these Spanish girls are all so loveable and talented and incredible and I truly didn't want to see anyone get eliminated... I just love and enjoy all of them so much 😭😭
And the judges remain untouchable 💅
Ana Locking, ganadora of each episode with the looks and the energy. She's so very clearly in love with drag and the girls. There's such a childlike joy about life radiating from her, it warms my heart 🥰
Supremme with them looks BIIIIIITCH. She looked fucking incredible every episode. And she remains the host of all hosts - She's funny, she's charming, she's invested, she's kind and she's obviously there to have fun too. I mean, her falling on her knees and smearing herself with flan, climbing on top of another queen and the pit crew, being read, laughing it off and then immediately reading Jota to filth, etc. In this house, we are Supremme de Luxe stans first, human beings second❤️❤️❤️
I am so glad one of her songs got chosen for the finale. The remix of Llévame al cielo - the production mamma... They really made sure each of the queens sounded good, looked good, got their moment of glory and they highlighted the eliminated queens too!!
It was obvious that the winner would be Sharonne, but that didn't make it any less satisfying and yes, I absolutely did cry. Sharonne is truly the whole package - she's funny, she can sing, dance, act, improvise, her looks were great, and her track record is fucking insane. But what I love above all about her is that she's so sweet and kind and down to earth. There wasn't a moment of ego or arrogance throughout the whole season. Her and Carmen really came into their respective seasons, said "I'm going to do this step by step, enjoy it, enjoy the time with my sisters, help where I can and if I win, I win", murdered it and stole our hearts and the crown!
I said it once, and I'll say it again, Drag race España truly feels like a warm hug from someone you love! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
