One of my most favorite Jikook lives of all time….

These 2 always make me laugh… 😂. I swear to you they could be in a cardboard box 📦 and have a good time! (Minds out of the gutter please 😏😏😏).

So of course hindsight is always 20/20 and yes I watched this a gazillion times (yes that is a real number….in my mind 😂)…moving on! It was pretty obvious right from the start that our sweet JK was on a mission and had a plan. What was the plan you ask? To fluster the master of cool calm and collected himself, a one Park Jimin. Not an easy task but if anyone can do it’s JK! Was he successful in his task??? Simply put….hell yes he was!!

Now I’m pretty sure it took a lot of practice, time, and effort to ensure he could deliver his lines flawlessly and it sounds like he may have had some help … 😏😏😏. So at only a minute and a half in we get:

At this point Jimin busts out laughing and gets all shy as he realizes what is going down … 😏

In Jungkook's Weverse livestream yesterday, I think he gave us a few clues about his living arrangements.

Editing to add...the chime we heard could have been anything, totally agree... All electronic machines and door brands make different noises. I have spent a fair bit of time in different accommodation so i have heard a lot of door chime sounds, and while that chime is familiar it's not universal. So based on that fact, the speculation about someone coming over is highly debatable. I'm not going to amend the post at this point since so many ppl have commented on it... but pls be aware that it could in fact be any electronic device.

I dont think I'm misunderstanding or inventing anything. I'm a facts person.

So here's the fact as i see them:

In JK's livestream yesterday, according tw translators, he stated that he works out a lot. He said if we ever wonder what he might be doing, he's probably working out. He also said it's hard for him to work out alone.

Can we assume that means he's usually not working out alone? Does he usually have someone to work out with? At his home?

I wonder who it could be?

More facts:

During his livestream (at the 1hr26 min mark) the door chime rang. So someone arrived at his place and proceeded to let themselves in.

Honestly it could be anyone, right?

Here we have to make a few assumptions...

From JK’s point of view: Jungkook wasn't suprised at their arrival. He must have been expecting them. He also continued to do the livestream for another 25 minutes. (the livestream was 1hr50min in total) and I saw no interaction between them at all. So they're obviously quite happy doing their own thing in his house while he's busy.

From the unknown person's point of view: They apparently didn't call out their arrival or come to greet him so they must be pretty comfortable there.

It must be a very close friend, or maybe family member.

For myself, even with a very close friend, if I arrived at a their place and let myself in, I'd probably say hello first up. To not greet the person whose house it is... seems a bit rude. Unless the person knew JK was busy.

So can we assume they knew he was busy?

I think we can assume that.

Would they know he was doing a livestream?

I think they must have known that or they would still greet him, right? Just because he's working out, that's no reason not to greet the person whose house you've just arrived at. But if they're live on camera... that's different.

So it's someone who knows that he's doing the livestream but they have come over anyway. And he continues on with the livestream, so he's not behaving politely like this person is a guest.

But here's one more fact:

It was 2.10 in the morning when that person let themself in.

2.10AM.

02h00.

Two hours past midnight.

Who arrives at 2.10am, lets themself in, and doesn't greet the home owner?? Only two possibilities in my opinion... someone who pretty much lives in the house, or a burglar.

I'm gonna say it's not a burglar.

My conclusion is, it's someone who lives there (or who spends so much time there that they might as well live there) AND who keeps similar hours to JK. Someone who JK is not suprised to see rolling up at 2am. Someone who knows not to show themselves or make and sound while he's livestreaming for ARMY.

I meant I'm still struggling to comprehend Taekook dynamics. Sure, according to Taekookers Tae and JK have a very private relationship; not considered as a ship. Their relationship is real, genuine and protected by the company. Taekookers oppose this to what they believe is Jikook: a ship, so it's fake; Jikook is very blatant about them, but it still can be shown on TV, because nobody would believe they're real due to this same loudness, so no need to edit them out ("extremely loud").

You'll heard Taekookers say all shippings are fake, as in they are part of the queer culture that the companies employ for fan consumption. In Idols' world, a genuine gay relationship would have been kept private and protected at all costs and thus edited out of any filming because it’d be detrimental to the company. So, lack of content is justified because of privacy issues ("extremely private")

My point mentioning that Vlive was to think about, or more like rambling about, an instance where the dynamics in both relationships are totally different from each other, like I said: there Jimin was passive / plaything / powerless and JK was more like his hyung, dragging him, imposing on him, and so on. Meanwhile Taehyung behave like his Hyung and like assuming command of the situation while JK quickly complied, stopping the live almost immediately.

Maybe this JK's submissive (¡!) side can be better seen in their “Dream” Movie Premiere, where Tae had again that authoritative air around him, pulling JK in, holding hands and JK was so shy and glowing with happyness. Well, even I could see why Taekookers were so happy watching them. JK’s softness side regarding Tae is often mentioned as well as Tae willing to fulfill his role as his hyung, manhandling him and such.

i know after watching Tae in other instances I know he's a very passionate man, he has a temper and likes to take the initiative.

But all of these are only my vague impressions. Overall I can see Taekooker's point (I mean it's common sense if their relationship is true to keep that private), but they don't take into account Jikook intimacy... they only acknowledge they're very close friends , but I think Jikook are more than friends atp and have shared intimate moments and several times they were caught red-handed too. But well, watching other Vlives with Taekook I believe Tae is still playing a role in there; he hasn't removed himself from the conversation lol.

Jikook's cooking live is as bad as JM's bday live. If someone I'm not comfortable with gets in face like JM did to JK, my knee jerk reaction would be to get mad, cameras or not, yet JK even tho he was pulling back, you could hear him giggling a flirty giggle, like okay we're live & we don't need to do this but I don't mind. Also the vibes from them in that live, like why you have chemistry cooking damn eggs & why everything y'all do together gotta have this sexual undertone, if you're just BROS?

If we're going on how we'd personally react in Jungkook's position, I can assure you that someone I'm close to getting into my face like that after I'm (intentionally or otherwise) being a menace would not bother me in the slightest. I would giggle just as much because that is the sort of dynamic I have with my closest peers, and proximity only makes me more teasing and affectionate.

Basically, how you or I would react in that situation doesn't actually mean anything.

However, I've never heard Jimin take that tone with any of the other members, so there's that.

He is really just out here supporting Jimin fully and he misses him so much. We know they've been spending time together too. They mentioned JK being at some of Jimins Rehersals. We know they met with up with the other members for an OT7 dinner. I just know there is more we don't know too. But it just speaks to how much time they normally spend together when that's clearly not enough and the way they are missing each other SO MUCH even with those other times spent together. They are used to living in each other's pockets clearly lol. And now that they have so much going on and Jimins schedules are so crazy, that time apart is driving JK to do a 100 minute live stream about how much he misses his hyung. Lol Jimin you better go over their for that promised dinner he wants to cook for you!

Not to mention, JK really brought it back to prove his point. Jimin is his catalyst. His inspiration at so many times. JK really sat there and watched Jimin for 100 minutes and then immediately said goodbye to us because he was struck with inspiration and motivation to go work. "I suddenly feel like I have to go do something." "I think I have to go work." "I'm going to go work now! Bye!" With an abrupt hang up! Lol it was giving, I don't want to say more than i should about Jimin right now and wow, the inspiration struck and I REALLY am interested in seeing whatever it is you worked on Jungkook! Music? Art? New song? If Jimin inspired you so much, I'm very intrigued! 🤣

They really are so precious. So cute. And so sweet. I hope they got to go over and spend some lengthy time together already, or if not. I hope they get the chance really soon. As they are both very clearly craving that time together!

So, here’s the thing...

Not only did we move on too fast from that Vlive, we moved on too fast from that moment.

Because at times we are so busy with what JM or JK are doing that we totally forget that when Hobi is around he’ll probably spill the beans even more so than those two (re: JM’s birthday Vlive and the “why are you doing this in JK’s studio”, for one).

What we know from JK and JM both is that they tend not to wear clothes around the house.  We heard that from both of them. 

From JK at the online fanmeet (it’s funny how JM wanted to move on quickly from that discussion at the time)

and from JM during that LV Vlive (start around 33 min. into the Vlive)

What we didn’t know, and Hobi divulged so very loudly and to JM’s clear dismay (Oh, I will get to that in just one second, please be patient with me), is that there has to be music on and the one in charge of said music is none other than one Mr. Jeon Jungkook.

Whoopsie daisy...  

Seems like someone just made a boo boo.

And if we didn’t catch on to what Hobi was actually saying, then I guess all we need to do is look at JM’s facial expression to understand Hobi opened his very big mouth just enough to fit his whole foot in it.

That moment JM realises Hobi said what he did, that look on his face.  And the head nod.  Priceless.

Remind you of something?

JM was wanting to do 2 things at that point, unclear to me which one of them to come first: 

Dig himself a big ass hole and bury himself in it;  and/or (depending on which came first of course)

Strangle Hobi.

Thing is, Hobi’s reaction, I don’t think he even realised what he said, the implications of what he said, him putting his big foot in his mouth.  He does see JM looking at him and it does look like he’s kind of asking if something is wrong, but JM moves on as quick as lightning, lol.  And hey, look, Tae may not have started it, but he did confirm what Hobi said, so you have that too.

But you know what?  At the end of the day JM cannot blame anyone other than himself for what went down there...

It was him who suggested they act like the camera isn’t there in the first place. And it was him to start talking about getting undressed. Hobi was just following his lead.

Just wondering, was there any aha moment for you regarding jikook? Not a moment where you immediately started believing they're a couple but something that made you definitively pause and think that their relationships a bit different?

I have one and I've never really seen any jikooker mention it which makes me wonder if I made way too much of it but anyway. Initially when I was still getting into Bangtan I watched a lot of their content on YouTube and I was always extra focused on JK as he was my bias.

So I was watching a bunch of their old vlives I came across 2 old jikook ones - the my heart is burning vlive and the heartbeat rate isn't human vlive. And the thing is I'd been binging a lot of BTS content at that time and I saw how JK was super physical and touchy with all the members so even though I saw a lot of sus jikook moments, I figured all of them were just really close.

But those lives made me really pause and take stock. Because by that point I had seen a lot of content, and I'd never seen JK flirt. I'd seen him give kisses galore, and cuddles aplenty, and many compliments on how good looking everyone was but he'd never actually come out and flirted with any member. And those vlives were real flirt sessions. Obviously I didn't immediately jump to the conclusion they were together or anything, but that definitely caught my attention and it was the first time I really wondered if they were actually only just friends.

I'm going to link the introductory post I did in January 2021 where I talked for the first time in this blog I think, about how I met kookmin and what I thought in the beginning, I think that's better. Nowadays I still think the same I believe, although maybe a little more sure than before.
