I’m incredibly proud of the work I do with The Last Improv Show.
I filmed all of this (except I think 4 clips) and I went through hundreds of videos I shot through the year, to edit most, if not all, improvisers and monologists that were on the show in 2023 (excluding The Kennedy Center) into this reel.

Kevin Cage of @spotlightsaga reviews… Animals. (S02E02) Pigeons Airdate: March 24, 2017 @hbo Ratings: 0.206 Million :: 0.07 18-49 Demo Share Score: 8/10
**********SPOILERS BELOW**********
Nothing renews your soul (and conscience) like a ‘Vision Quest’ that starts once you squeeze through a glory hole in a public restroom and accidentally flush yourself down toilet. Drowning is really great way to get close to God… Well, that an picking up pennies on a busy train track. Jacob is a failure of a pigeon who sits in front of his computer screen all day and talks shit to online gamers… But we’ve all been there, right? It’s his brother Miles’ birthday and he’s the Golden Pigeons to end all Golden Pigeons… Miles is voiced by Usher and Jacob is Lauren Lapkus’ best version of an unconfident, whimpering teenage pigeon with a weird sexual attraction to Lois Griffin from 'Family Guy’ and a very one sided view on Jewish People and Suicidal Bakers.
At one point during Jacob’s vision quest he’s propositioned by a fox to take a left in a fork in the road… I’m not sure if Jacob is brushed up on his 'Little Red Riding Hood’, but he made the right decision anyway… Always go with the Jewish accountants and stays clear of over eager Foxes with sick rhyming skills (I see you, Killer Mike & Big Boi… These raps in 'Animals’ are always a highlight).
Jacob completes his vision quest and comes to terms that he technically caused his brother’s death… In which he responds by admitting to his parents what really happened. They laugh it off and for the first time ever, Jacob sees the giant wall of his dead brothers and sisters that ballparks somewhere in the upwards of 50’s. Moral of the story? Death is inevitable, you can’t kill yourself with licorice, and Killer Mike & Big Boi are literally masters of their crafts. Also… If you see a penny, leave that shit be and pay attention to the family portraits… Ask questions, don’t be an asshole!
Let’s not forget the story arc that link all Animal’s episodes together. S2 premiere showed Mike & Phil (the OG rats) escape from the lab they were being tested on and now there’s a widespread epidemic of 'Virus X’ starting to break free in New York. A hotshot reporter is on the case and following the evil scientist… And the Saga continues… Roaches are up next. I seriously love 'Animals’ more and more with each episode… Can’t wait to see what the ratings look like this season, would love to have a S3 in the future, this project has to be one of HBO’s more cost effective ones at the moment. Might as well keep this shit going!!

UCB has gathered some of their best, that just happen to be a couple of some sort (married, dating, team partners, etc.), for a special Valentine’s Day show at UCB Sunset. If you’re not into the concept of Valentine’s because you see it as a corporate cash-in, take note that all proceeds from this show will go to Planned Parenthood.
So, you can (and should) get your tickets for UCB’s Planned Parenthood Valentine’s Day Bonanza here.

Janeane Garofalo stars as a demanding executive who returns from her lunch break to find that her assistant has succumbed to an unexpected fate. Co-starring Joe Wengert and cast with many Los Angeles based alternative comedians, this dry comedy showcases the talented Garofalo in a morally complex lead role. The Assistant was an official selection at several film festivals including Palm Springs Shortfest and Cinequest. Likes: 25 Viewed:

Zak Bagans’ Haunted Museum Trip Report
Tumblr media
By Nikki Jones
I would like to preface this adventure with the fact that although I love Zak Bagans and his work with the paranormal NOW...that was not always the case. My husband has been a fan of Zak and Ghost Adventures from the very beginning (serious business on a Saturday night) but it took some time for me to come around…I mean…let’s be real here…the host (Zak Bagans) wore bedazzled jeans and would yell at and provoke unseen forces, but as time passed and Saturday night was for Ghost Adventures and Ghost Adventures ONLY, I gave in…and then became obsessed. As a believer in the supernatural and more specifically, the presence of demons and demonic possession (although I have no personal experience with demons…well, REAL demons that is) watching Zak and the boys during their lockdown experiences invoked anxiety and a certain fear for them…which is what TRUE terror is right? But this review is not about the show… it is about the Haunted Museum…more notably Zak Bagans Haunted Museum.
Tumblr media
At first glance, The Haunted Museum would not be eye catching if it were not for the sign, as it is located off a main 4 lane UBER busy street in a nondescript historical Las Vegas mansion that was originally owned by the Wengert family. Spirits, some hostile and some not, are rumored to inhabit the mansion…and I mean, why wouldn’t they? This IS the place Zak Bagans chose to display his haunted treasures we are talking about! Standing in line, you are greeted by Angry Joe (I call him the Ghost Host with the MOST) whom you might recognize from the Ghost Adventures show, as he is a paranormal investigator himself. Oh! I feel like it is worth noting that is my SECOND visit to the museum but my first time meeting Angry Joe. We were graced with his paranormal knowledge for the 30 minutes while we were in line and he was super interested when I brought up Creepy Kingdom (proud member of the Creepy Kingdom Army over here!) and was stoked to take a picture with me! You cannot tell by the pic (ghost hosts do not smile) but I am pretty sure he was smiling inside.
Tumblr media
Once you are in the front door and in the waiting room, you can use the restroom (recommended since the tour is about 1.5 CREEPY hours) and take any pictures that you need to document that you were there because once your TERROR guide arrives all phones are to be silenced and put away. NO VIDEOS OR PICTURES ARE ALLOWED once the tour starts.
Tumblr media
The above picture was taken in the waiting room…. some creepy little babies hanging out in the waiting room…just a taste of what IS waiting once the tour begins in the actual doll room…trust me when I say that Zak has QUITE the doll collection…YIKES is all I will tell you and the hair on my arms stood on end AND I noticed a few very DARK newbies that were not there on my last visit…HEEBIE. JEEBIES. The tour then takes you into room after room ( I promise you…that rooms are secretly added once you leave one and move on to the other because from the outside the mansion does not look very mansion-esque and more like a single family home)it is really beyond comprehension how much there is on display in his haunted collection…I mean the gangs all here…Jack Kevorkian’s Death Van, the Occult, dead celebrity room (there is one picture of a certain dead comedian that I cannot UN-see), serial killer room, that Bela Lugosi MIRROR, did I mention DOLLS?? a mini freak show, THE CIRCUS(I shudder at the thought)and  CLOWNS CLOWNS and MORE CLOWNS ( oh! you get an EXTRA special surprise when you enter THAT room….ughhhh). There are three rooms that I did not choose to enter because of my fear of demonic possession, the room with the Dybbuk Box (did you see the movie The Possession??) the room with Peggy the Doll (ummmm….NO MA’AM you are NOT coming home with me) and The Demon House room (I mean…did you even watch the documentary??? NO. WAY. JOSE.) All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed MY ghost adventure and will be going a third, fourth and fifth time…if I get the chance. I was really really REALLY hoping to run into Zak because… he’s kind of a hunk and I don’t care if he is bedazzled from head to toe.
