the thing i genuinely love about succession is that Kendall is just straight up Not Cool. Like when they introduce him you kind of assume that they're setting him up to be like this baddass, smart talking, Harvey Specter type, and then you are almost immediately informed that no, actually. Kendall Roy is a fucking loser. He's an embarrassing fuckup who tries wayyy too hard. Like I LOVE the guy but he's so painfully Uncool.

˚✩ ⋆｡˚ ✩ satoru’s existence is so hardly of this world, but you make him feel a little bit more like he belongs on planet earth. he sees flowers and he thinks of you. he hears somebody laugh and he thinks about how much he wishes it was your laughter ringing in his ears, but there’s something inside of him that also feels pleased with seeing someone else be happy, even if it’s a stranger. maybe it’s your love and kindness that’s seeped into his heart and made him a smidge more human than before, or maybe you’ve just brought out the part of him that was always human, that was just another child in the world who also had the misfortune of being born a god.

he likes the springtime more because you do. he thinks the buds on the trees are beautiful just like you. he finds more value in the effort put into a home cooked meal. even though he might be prone to teasing you about how you appreciate some of the more simple, mundane things in life, he’s actually following right in your footsteps.

˚✩ ⋆｡˚ ✩ god i feel like i could be SO wrong about this and i’ll throw up if i am, but i’m gonna just go with what my gut is saying rn #yolo. even though suguru likes keeping you under his thumb just like everyone else, he also admires your competency as a person. in fact, i feel as though it might scare him a bit at times, because how can he be the leader, the controller when someone as smart as you has so much potential? it’s a complicated sentiment, likely having him battling remnants of his old self. you’re kind, capable, and beautiful, and there’s a part of him that sincerely loves that, but he finds it challenging as well. i mean he has his ego; he knows he’s strong, intelligent, etc., but you also have those qualities, even if exhibited differently than his.

i hate when people (especially men) say shiv made the choice at the end for her baby. like i hate that. she made the choice for a lot of reasons, like. she was mad at kendall winning and didn't want to just hand him the crown just because he's the man between the two of them when she fought so hard for it for so long. she maybe did it because she saw kendall turn into logan. she did it because she probably genuinely knew he wouldnt be good at it. some of that was rational and some of that was probably irrational and driven by a lot of emotion.

like. chosing between kendall and the man who she put on the throne just so he would betray her in the last second is such a brutal choice, and she chose the two men who betrayed her, because of kendall. like this always comes down to the siblings and she would rather be the CEOs wife and become her own mother than kendall become CEO and pretend to be his father. like. she does not care about tom enough to be hurt by his betrayal, nor does she care which of these choices is better for him

but she sure as fuck didn't do it for her baby. she does not care about that baby. neither does tom, really, but when people in the show say she would be a bad mother that is... kind of true? she doesn't really seem to want to be a mother and does it like a lot of "woman stuff" she does - she didnt care at all about her wedding, she doesn't care for the place her and tom moved into, and she doesn't really care about having a baby and being a mother. like, yeah, of course she's hurt when people say shed be a bad mother, but she probably still isnt all that interested in being a mother? like. there is no way in hell shiv thought about that baby in that board meeting, like she sat down calmly before the meeting and then made a pro and con list about making kendall CEO and then came to the level-headed conclusion that tom would be overall the lesser evil and better option for her baby. that woman? shiv roy? for her baby?

it's just so out of character for her that i can only blame sexism and not understanding the character because how do you look at shioban roy saying 'i dont think youd be good at it' and 'i love you but i cannot stomach you' after having lost so close at the finish line and using all the power she has so that her brother doesn't get a victory he doesnt deserve, even if the alternative is literally the worst 2 people it could be for her personally. just the idea that this was a purely rational choice made by her so that her baby has a better life is so funny to me like hello

now that i’ve had my Big Cry about succession being over and i can think a little more clearly about it.... i guess i’m okay with how it ended. there were a lot of things in terms of execution that i thought were a little sloppy (or at least not to my taste if i want to be generous) but like the themes and stuff were good. my personal opinion is that the long time jump followed by the short timeline (about one day to one episode) didn’t really work but maybe on a rewatch it will mesh better. episodes this season seemed like they could have been pared down (especially with like having to rehash gojo stuff so much; boring to me) and honestly the sharpness of the past seasons (i can’t think of a better way to describe what i mean) didn’t seem to be there. there are things i liked about the season but nothing i particularly Loved besides the logan dying episode and caroline and ewan at the funeral. a lot of the stuff i thought i would like fell flat for me.. again, maybe a rewatch would change my mind. anyways, thoughts from internet rando that no one cares about lol

#succession spoilers #i'm very sad about kendall but a lot of that stems from shit with my own sister that hit a little close to home #i should be more psyched about tom getting ceo but i felt like he was barely in this season #so it just felt like... i guess... to me; i dunno #even the tom and greg stuff i was like... where have you been all season lol #its like there was too much bloat but also not enough time... not sure how they could have squared the circle better with that

ARIES/1H MOON BEAUTY

ANGELINA JOLIE, RIHANNA AND KENDALL JENNER, IN ORDER.

♇ aries moon beauty [specifically for the women] are likely to have prominent eyebrows, their eyebrows tend to be sharp and arched.

♇ cancer moon beauty involves with them having small faces, their faces being heart-shaped, and their upper head being rounder than their lower face which takes on a sharper shape.

SAGITTARIUS/9H MOON BEAUTY

♇ sagittarius moon beauty includes them having oblong/rectangle head shapes, overall, they usually have long head shapes. but they tend to have really cute noses, the round top of their nose is really defined. [their head shape reminds me of squidwards house no offence].

♇ capricorn moon beauty involves them having a very slender look, but they dont appear as fragile like women with capricorn in their ascendant. they usually have very slender/bony nose bridges and sharp jaws, and their head shapes are oval-like but a longer version of it.

♇ most of their nose bridges can be thin or wide, and downturned, aquarius moon beauty involves them having round puppy eyes, very straight and arched eyebrows. their forehead can be very prominent and portruding along with their brow-bone.

♇ their beauty includes them having a heavier lower lip and defined lash lines, they tend to have a very cute and full of life appearance, and their eyes look like they are sparkling/twinkling. the point of their chins can either come across as very rounded or squared.

PISCES/12H MOON BEAUTY

♇ i have noticed a lot of pisces moon beauty, [especially the women], have glossy eyes, most of the time they look like they're about to cry, and they have thick/long eyelashes. i have noticed pisces moons have very adorable smiles.

♇ they have really full eyebrows, full and wavy hair, their eyes are usually round and they can be light. the shape of their lips is normally full and heart-shaped, and the middle of their faces goes really in giving them very portruding cheekbones.

♇ unless their other placements are as strong, or overpowers their pisces energy, many of them have short foreheads but it can appear as if they have big foreheads, but, that is because the width of their forehead is very long.

♇ pisces moon women are very beautiful and they always look like they're wandering, they always look like they're on another realm and tend to look like they're lost or shocked. on the other hand, they have really delicate features, they give off the stereotypical fairy/ballerina/princess look.
