Summary In which the popstar is tired of her stressful life, and the princess is tired of her boring life, so what do they do when they meet at a concert? Switch lives of course!

sliding on her shoes, y/n looked in the mirror at her concert outfit. deeming it acceptable, she grabbed her small bag, slipping her basic concert necessities in it, as well as her small pen-looking wand in the bag. Who knows what she might need it for, having never been to a concert (other than an opera) before. 

stepping onto the heart-shaped concrete walkway, y/n called for her driver, to which he quickly arrived and y/n slipped in the back of the car. looking out the window, she could see yuna, her assistant, running down the long entrance hallway before skidding to a stop outside, waving excitedly at y/n as she drove away. 

after a little while a nervous fretting at the thought of being around so many people, she arrived at the venue. large groups of people were milling about in different areas, some at concession stands, others getting lightsticks or other merchandise, others just simply talking.

"wow... it's like a press conference meeting but for teenagers," the awestruck princess muttered, remembering the insane amount of people with caneras and mics that she and her parents would have to entertain for over 3 hours. 

walking into the semi-empty venue space, y/n looked out over the sea of chairs and lights. there were only staff on the stage at the moment, but y/n knew the opening duo would go on soon. kep1ve was a new japanese duo that took the internet by storm. reportedly, they were also really good friends with hiyyih, the main artist performing tonight. 

looking at her ticket, y/n found her seat, making herself comfortable before watching people start to run in for their seats before the music started.

a few notes start up and kep1ve, rei and hikaru, walked out, yelling out greetings to the crowd in english, korean, and japanese. even though they weren't who most people were here to see, they knew how to hype a crowd, and as they finished their short set the crowd was going wild. 

"now, i'm going to need you all to do us a favor! are you listening?" rei asked, her sweet toned voice echoing over the screaming sea of lightsticks. the crowd responded cheerily, which made rei giggle before letting hikaru talk,

"we need you to start chanting, like this," she motioned over to rei and they both spoke gently into their mics at first "hiyyih, hiyyih, hiyyih, hiyyih" before climbing into a shout, motioning for the crowd to do so as well, "HIYYIH, HIYYIH, HIYYIH"

"like that! perfect!" and that was all they said as they walked off stage. 

As the shouting became louder and louder, a tall figure finally stepped onto the stage, and roses, hiyyih's fandom name, lost it. if you were close enough, which y/n was, you'd be able to see hiyyih take a shaky breath before looking up with a bright grin on her face.

"hello roses! oh, i'm so happy to see you all! thank you so much for being here and giving me the opportunity to be here with you!" she said, repeatedly bowing and waving, occasionally blowing kisses. 

letting out a cheer, y/n clapped and hopped on her feet. hiyyih turned to y/n's section and started waving and blowing kisses. deciding to be bold, y/n decided to call out,

"hiyyih, we love you!" she said, grinning as hiyyih turned to her, locking eyes with her and giving the brightest grin yet, 

"i love you, too!" she giggled through her words before moving more center-stage and making a motion to the band behind her.

"are you ready to hear frozen petals? yea? alright!" and with that she started singing, her candy-toned voice sending smooth notes across the crowd, the pumped up song making the still-sitting people rise from their seats and jump to the beat, the flashing rose lightstick glowing colors pink and white with each beat.

hiyyih paused between lyrics to shout once more,

"let's go!"

"why do you even like her?"

from afar, anyone one would think the college it boy passed out. hanbin, jiwoong, matthew, and hao were sitting on the grass of the park. stranded on the ground, head resting on hao's lap, hanbin didn't look as flaming as usual.

the question asked by jiwoong caught him off guard. that's right, why would he even like you?

hanbin was interested in you from the moment he saw you. we were getting toward the end of february, and despite the still chilly weather, the sun was finally beaming after a long winter. maybe it's the way you looked so peaceful arriving to campus on your bicycle the first time he saw you. maybe it was because he was happy to finally see sunshine after a long time. you were looking around, and seemed a bit lost, not knowing were to go.

this is how he fell for you. or maybe you were the one to fall, because you didn't realize your bicycle was going to him. when you turned your face to look in front of you and realized you were close to crashing into him, you swerved but lost the control of handles, making you bicycle fall. hanbin was pulled out of his trance.

"oh no, i'm so sorry, i should've stepped back when i saw you coming". hanbin bent to check up on you and make sure you were not harmed in any way when you sighed heavily. you were obviously annoyed and it was not an attitude he was used to get from people, making him stop in his tracks. he coughed to clear his voice.

"is everything okay? are you bruised? i'll take you to the nurse's off-"

"yes, i'm fine."

you got up, focused on your bicycle that you picked up from the ground before hopping back on it. hanbin looked at you as you were checking if your bicycle was okay, when you finally let your eyes on him. he stayed still, analyzing your face from closer. now, you looked like you were straight out of a movie. was it the sun again or were you just really pretty? once again, he couldn't stay lost in his thoughts about you for too long, because he noticed your hand gesturing him to go.

"can you get out of my way or?"

"ah, yes, excuse me."

and so he did, letting you go with a bitter feeling left in his chest. hanbin didn't think he liked you immediatly from this mere encounter. he just knew he wanted to know more about you. he always found himself wondering what year you were in, what was your major, and when he walked around campus, he was hoping he could see you.

until his mother birthday, when hanbin decided to buy flowers for her. this is how he found you again, working at the flower shop. he made sure to come there at least twice a week, and after a few times, it was starting to get obvious he was flirting with you. and you just had to reject him.

"you're here again. your mom must love flowers." you said when you saw him push the door with confidence.

"or i must love the part-time florist."

you didn't even smile to his words. no effect. you were getting used to this kind of lines from him, so now it didn't even surprise you. you would roll your eyes once or twice, but nothing more. it should've warn him, but he was just so confident that day he didn't even picked up on the hint.

the brunette walked his way to the cash counter. he leaned on it, resting his chin in the palm of his hand while looking at you with a smug smile.

"remember when you told me every type of flower has its own meaning", hanbin started.

"i mean, why would i forget..." you said, unsure of where the discussion was going.

"this means if i ask you a question, you can answer it with flowers?"

"hum... yes? if it's about my emotions."

"perfect. hypothetically, if i come and tell you i like you, what bouquet would you make as an answer?"

just thinking back to your rejection made him lose his mind. hanbin strongly banged his head against hao's lap, who cried out because of the pain.

"what's wrong with you?" zhang hao scoffed, surprised by the sudden outburst of his friend. hanbin got up, now sitting on the ground like his friends.

"i don't even like her that much! i just thought she was pretty and it was funny to see her sometimes..."

hanbin sighed heavily, his hands going to his face in exasperation. suddenly, he remembered something.

"wait, you're literally the source of the problem", he said turning to zhang hao.

"now, this is getting interesting'', jiwoong muttered to matthew with a smirk.

"how am i the problem?" hao asked, batting his eyelashes with fake innocence.

"you said that xiaoting told you y/n had a crush on me!"

"i said y/n had a crush on hanbin..." hao said, emphasazing on the name.

"but hanbin's name is hanbin..." matthew said to jiwoong, kinda lost.

a silence settled on the little friend group. hao was smirking, jiwoong was looking at hanbin, waiting for him to understand, and matthew... was starting to feel like he missed something. suddenly, hanbin gasped.

"don't tell me she likes another hanbin?"

you really wondered why hanbin followed you on twitter after this. wasn't it clear you rejected him?

"i'm telling you, he likes being humiliated. the fact he deadass bought that bouquet was showing it", yujin said as she took a bite of her lunch.

"a normal person wouldn't try to talk to you again after you rejected them! what is wrong with him?", you said, agreeing with yujin.

"yeah, i really wonder why he would do that..." mashiro added.

in fact, mashiro was lying, she didn't have any questions about this. why? well, she's the one who told him to do so.

mashiro decided to tell her plan to hanbin step by step. her excuse was that she didn't want him to rush things, but the truth is that she had no plan and her idea was just to make things up little by little. plus, she wanted to toy with him a little. wasn't it the reason she was helping him? for her own entertainment?

you slightly jumped when you heard the sound of someone sitting at your table. that day, the cafeteria was kind of empty. it spring and the sun was shining, so people would rather eat outside then there. so, why would anyone seat at your table when there was plenty free ones? mashiro, sitting in front of you, was smiling in a way that meant no good. you watched as xiaoting greeted a boy you didn't know.

"it's been a while, hao!"

"i know!! since there's place at your table, i kinda dragged the boys so i could eat with you."

you frowned. the boys? zhang hao? you turned to see who just sat next to you, only to find hanbin. at first, you brain didn't get the information right, so you just went back to eating. however, when the realization hit you, your eyes widened. now you remember! xiaoting's close childhood friend is zhang hao. and you knew about hao and hanbin's relationship...

"hey", hanbin simply said with a fresh smile.

"why aren't you sitting next to hao?"

"because he's talking to xiaoting and i'll feel left out... and i'd rather sit next to you if i have the occasion to."

chaehyun coughed to hide the fact she was trying not to laugh at the scene taking place in front of her. you looked horrified and it was hard not to laugh at the face you were making.

"why would you suddenly come to eat lunch with us?" you asked hanbin.

"well, you know hao and xiaoting are good friends. he just wanted to hang out with her for a bit. he's kinda busy these days so he doesn't get the occasion to see her much. i guess he's gonna use the lunch time to stay with her more..."

it was all lies. well, only partly. sure, hao missed his friend, but he had plenty of time to see her only together. he was not busy at all. hanbin used him as an excuse to fulfill mashiro's plan.

after they all finished eating, hao was the first one to stand up to announce him and the other boys were leaving. your suspicious eyes followed the group as they were leaving the cafeteria, and you saw hanbin's arm sneaking around the chinese boy's waist. you rolled your eyes. you turned your attention to xiaoting, who was peacefully finishing her lunch.

"xiaoting."

"yes?"

"you're very close to hao, right?"

"yes! i've known him for years now, and our families are pretty close."

"and when do you plan on telling him that his boyfriend is cheating on him?"

the girls sitting around the table with you were shocked.

"hao has a boyfriend?" chaehyun asked.

"and he's cheating on him..?" yujin added, not sure of where that information came from.

"what are you talking about?" xiaoting genuinely asked.

"hanbin! you know he was flirting with me! that's one of the main reasons why i hate him, he's dating zhang hao at the same time."

xiaoting rested her face in her hands, sighing heavily. she was exhausted at how dumb you are. yujin's eyes were going to you, then back at xiaoting, then back at you again. she was just waiting for one of you to add something.

"y/n, hao and hanbin are not dating."

You smiled as Yeseo and Bahiyyih came in. You moved to the last chair on the right letting Yeseo sit in the middle and Bahiyyih on the far left.

“ Ok 1.. 2.. 3.. GO! “. One of the camera men said as you and your member said your intro.

As Bahiyyih finished her unbagging she looked over to and said.

“ Y/n are you ok? “. Slightly worried she got up and went to your seat.

You all had done your intro again and left the studio. But instead of going straight to your groups cars, you told Yeseo to go on and talked to Bahiyyih.

All of your members were confused. Expect for Yeseo who had started and new what was going on. Since she was the one who came up with doing the “what’s in your bag” again. What a smart maknae.
