Troopers from the Kissian 78th, namely some of the members of my Kill team :D
Trooper Rynsk in the front is an ex-convict from the Kissian prison moons, as well as his mates, radio operator Vensk and trooper Liefeld. Trooper Lily is the squad's bruiser, a big, brawny trans woman with a sturdy trench club and one of my favorite characters.
A side note here: Before anyone takes an issue about Lily's appearance as a "negative stereotype" about trans women with her more masculine build, I will clarify a few things. First: Most of the Kissian female troopers are big and burly, since looking extra feminine isn't an important issue when you try to avoid being killed in the battlefield. Secondly: I think that as a society, we need to stop viewing femininity as something weak, pretty and fragile. Especially trans women and non-binary people with masculine features (such as myself) are forced to jump through so many loops just to prove that we are worthy for basic human decency. Just...let trans people be what they want to be.

10 Genestealer Hybrids I finished up last year, my first ever completed squad. I'd somehow managed to get sidetracked on every single squad I've ever tried to build and paint from the age of 9 to 36 so this was big for me :D
Planning on painting the trenches with a Modge podge base then using a grout mixture to emulate mud.
Planning on carving stones into the bridge and supports, basing black, and then dry brushing gray. Used bondo to seal cracks on supports which is not idea but I think will still be workable.
Planning on using these for 40k, killteam, Legion, and Turnip28. Any advice? Is the bridge too tall?
I really like Noise Marines from Warhammer, but only 1 modern model of them exists. So kitbashed a whole Kill Team of them, in some of my favourite colours :3
Kill Team time comes once again, and this round it bears space dwarves, the Hearthkyn Salvagers. These guys have a lot of options, and I did an indulgence to pick up some extra bodies so I could make everything. They've got funny names like Theyn, Lokatr, Kognitaar, and Grenadier. What even is that last one, that's not a real language.
Anyway, I went a little wild with some of the details here, from the heated metal weapons, to trying to up the metallics a little bit, to sculpting and printing some jetpack exhaust for the one guy.
These guys apparently haven't been doing too well as far as stats go, but I'm excited to finally get a chance to try them out all the same.
Finally finished my Sisters Novitiate Killteam! After months of waiting and then a disastrous attempt at the slapchop method I decided that these ladies needed the full send treatment. So of course I had to do perhaps the most laborious paintjob I've ever done!
This fabric drape was a nightmare.
The Whip-Sister doesn't actually have an autopistol in-game, but dual wielding combat whips is a bridge too far even for me, so I gave her an autopistol. I wouldn't have put her in at all except that she combos so well with the Big Chainsword Sister.
And I LOVE how the reliquary turned out. Exactly the effect I was going for.
I am SO proud of these, I'm giving them a coat of matte clearcoat to make sure they stay pristine and then I am going to paint something that is NOT a GW model next, because for fuck's sake. I don't know if I will ever actually play Killteam but hey I've got my girls painted up and ready. The Tau Pathfinder half of the Chalnath box is NOT getting this level of attention, sorry Tau but I don't care about you that much.
A better picture of Lily, the bruiser. She has been beating things to mush for the glory of the Emperor across the countless battlefields of the Epirean crusade. She's really a nice gal with a good sense of humor, and in a relationship with the melta operator of the team, a small gremlin of a woman with an unhealthy love for burning things. More about her later.
I haven't had a lot of time to paint this week because I started my new job and was freaking out about not having clients and felt too sick to do it. (it's fine btw)
But here are some more guys for this little Inquisitorial warband. First two are nice and simple headswaps. Last one is a mix of random parts that all kind of fit together well. I'm not sold on it though because the pose is kind of meh as a result, even if the parts are cohesive otherwise...
I kind of have to get out of thinking that the more parts a model is the cooler a conversion it is.
In biggest war zones, Killteams do battle in the dark causeways and battlefields. Turning the tides for the greater conflicts in unknown ways. The Veteran Guardsmen of Krieg put the dreaded Drukhari to flight!
