Yes I have many !! Here are some that are still updating or that were completed very recently:

- Hold me by my heart by Muchadoloo is a very well thought out fic that takes the time to treat Yodito like a real child with real psychological needs, it’s very interesting and very lovely ! 

- No prison can hold by Lailuva started recently but I’m loving it so far, it’s set after episode 6 in an AU where Din got captured by the New Republic and Baby Yoda is sent to Luke Skywalker ! Also it’s partly set in the old EU so no Kylo Ren murdering the students mess :-)

- Cheirophilia series by Fox (Spacefoxen) and Novaed (novaori) is set in the LadyIrina AU where Din travels with the ex-stormtrooper Corin (I mean it’s the fic with the most kudos so do I really need to present it lol) and it just keeps getting better ! The Let Me Adore You part is incredible, the amount of research and rewrites that must have gone into making it is unreal !

- Clan Djarin series by EffieA focuses heavily on Mandalorian culture, which I love ! Basically Din meets an older and more liberal Mandalorian. It seems finished for now but I’m hoping we’ll get new episodes at some point...

- Dar’ Manda series by Maggie_GoldenStar1530 one of my favs, it also focuses heavily on Mandalorian culture and is just So Good ! Not saying too much to avoid spoilers but basically Din gets to meet again one of the adopted siblings he grew up with. 

- All things in balance series by Tamehistorian starts with a smart development on the events of episode 8 and then really becomes its own universe with the fic Forces beyond our control. As far as ‘Din goes to find info on the kid’s people’ fics go, this one hits all the right spots I think !

- Beneath different stars by Oceankat8 is an interesting spin on the LadyIrina AU since it’s a role reversal fic ! but don’t let that scare you lol it’s very nice so far. It’s staying true to the characters which seems very difficult for this type of AU so kudos to the writer !

- A distinct lack of Mandalorian mystique series by MissTeaVee follows Cara as she hangs out with Din and starts befriending the rest of the Covert and it is HILARIOUS, please read it in it’s entirety because the ending is also very satisfying.

- Collision Course by ZeevaWyte is set in the LadyIrina AU but at the time of the New Trilogy, Yodito gets captured by the Imps and Rey and Finn rescue him. It hasn’t updated in a month tho... I wanna know what happens next... :’(

And of course Family and Home by LadyIrina and the Love Like You series CoffeeQuill but these two are some of the most popular fics so I’m guessing you know them already !

1000 Reasons to Love The Mandalorian (22/1000)

Apart from the show I have to mention that I really like The Mandalorian fandom and the things that some talented people have shared. You have no idea how many boxes of serotonin I have stored after looking at some of these fanarts and after reading some fanfics… So here are 5 fanfics I absolutely adore.

(Disclaimer: it’s all about fluffy interactions between The Baby™ and his dad. I never read anything that involves romance when it comes to Din – maybe with a few exceptions when it’s Cara, but that’s rare. Especially if it’s “x Reader” stuff. So I can’t recommend anything from that genre. As much as I like this fandom it’s WAY too thirsty for my poor ace soul…)

1. From A Certain Child's Point of View: The Child It’s a part of ongoing series by Lailuva who describes the events from every episode from the perspective of The Baby™. I linked the story about Chapter 2, because only the first two are complete and the one from Chapter 1 was very short. But still great, so you can check it out. There’s a lot about The Baby™ being excited by his new dad murdering people… I mean turning them into sparkles. And we can see how he grows more and more attached to Mando who is still his grumpy but endearing self.

10/10 would let it break my heart and heal it again

2. The Armored Man Another work from the child’s perspective (this time shorter) by deebainwonderland. Includes Baby Yoda being too curious for he’s own good and Din being a terrified single dad. So pretty much a normal day with these two. (Also Din is laughing in this one, so that’s another plus.)

3. And we are kind to snails By vaguely_concerned. A story about Din reading to his baby about animals so he can lull him to sleep with his calm voice. Honestly… does anyone even need a longer recommendation? I’m pretty sure it’s one of these texts that I was glad to read alone, because of some undignified squeaks I made after a fragment about The Mudhorn…

4. The Toymaker and the Odd Pair Also by deebainwonderland. This time from someone else’s point of view. I think I just love the stories where someone from the outside notices that Din is a great dad…

5. Outward Expressions By Yatzstar. The story is quite short and I don’t want to reveal too much, so let’s just say it’s about making Din happy. Which any reasonable person should wish for him.

There are many, many more – but I don’t want to recommend everything at once. However, the list will be updated (probably a lot of times). (Also the list would have been ready sooner, but I kept rereading my favourite parts over and over again…)

“Blood Challenges” Part 2

*Spoilers*** This fanfiction has quite a few STWOR references such as Mandalorian noble houses Beroya and Cadera. In addition, there is a bounty hunter event npc named and Empress Teta’s crown. The most crucial reference is the ancient protocol droid TC-214. I figured if any droid would have access to Yoda’s species’ language, it would have to be that old.

Lailuva on Oops I Arted Tumblr helped inspired the desire of Grogu to learn speak basic in the story. She wrote a post about her observations in season 2 of Grogu attempting to converse with Din more often. This series will touch some more on little baby Yoda language development as the series progresses.

As for the Star Wars Rebels reference, you can expect more than Ursa Wren and Fenn Rau to show up in the series. The next story in the series “Bones of a Plan” (unless I can think up a better title) will be posted on February 4, 2022, and the last part (title pending) probably be posted April 1, 2022. Why the wait? For one thing, to not neglect other genre fanfictions of mine, which have been on the back burner. The other reason …

*Super Spoilers*** This series will have a follow up series attached to it. Lol, I didn’t plan for this little story to grow into a series, and now it’s going to be two series. Currently, I’m on story three of the second series. Another new story is sidetracking me ☹. Hopefully, it won’t take to too long to finish, so I can return back 😊. Thanks for reading.

I think I never posted the other shirts I made a couple years ago so here you go.

The top two were those plain shirts from the craft store. I laid lace over them and misted them with bleach solution. For the bottom one I did the same with an arrow stencil, then used the same stencil again with brown fabric paint. With the arrows and color scheme, I call it my Lailúva shirt in honor of my Elf hunter in Lord of the Rings Online.

The best part is they're perfect for work: look nice enough while comfortable, washes with the rest of my clothes, and already has bleach on it so if I get messy while cleaning no one notices.

Lailuva oftens dresses as a native wherever she goes to blend in and the battle of Helm's Deep is no exception, especially since she needs heavier armor than she usually wears. She finally forgoes the hood she wore throughout most of Rohan; everyone is more concerned about the coming battle than an Elf among the Rohirrim.
