ANIMO CUP 2017: THE EPILOGUE SANGKA-SALIG
Sports fest in La Salle Academy usually happens annually. It is an event which often sponsored by the school in which participated by students for friendly competition to take part in sports, perhaps for trophies or prizes. This event showcased the various talents of every year level from Elementary, Junior High up to Senior High. This year’s sports fest of SHS has come up with a unique theme “THE EPILOGUE: SANGKA-SALIG” which means the lost girl search for the perfect tribe whom she can trust and lean on and together they will defend and win the crown. Also, this sports fest came in various events, may it be in sports, board games, TUGKANYAW (Tugtugan, Kantahan at Sayawan), painting, photography, film showing, amazing race, bench cheering, pop dance, spoken poetry and Wanna Be, as well as Ambassadress 2017.
We all know that school is a place where students are nurtured toward becoming responsible and productive members of society. School provides a means of moulding students into capable employees or professionals in their chosen fields. These sports fest event are considered to be a way to relax the students and temporarily forget academic problems. It is the day to have fun, socialize, come together as a team to achieve one’s goal, to win the trophy. Also, it builds great bond for each strand in SHS and comradely. According to Geminiano 2010, physical education encourages students to have holistic and active lifestyles and practice the arts of winning, losing, and teamwork. In other words, participating in physical education such as sports fest provides invaluable life skills which develop by every students.
DAY 1
The opening remarks of the sports fest themed ANIMO CUP 2017: THE EPILOGUE SANGKA-SALIG happens in a blast! It usually open with torch lighting, Tributes for the four tribes (The house of Wolves, Sharks, Eagles and Lions) representing each strand (STEM, TVL, HUMSS, and ABM), and Bench Cheering Competition before participants proceed to their specific Minor, Board games and Major events.

DAY2
The second day events profoundly became lively as events continues and getting more intense for close fights in different sports within the four strands. The afternoon events also contributed to add the excitement of each tribes as “TUGKANYAW” have been introduced, such as pop dance, spoken poetry, vocal trio, acoustic jam and wanna be.
DAY 3
On the third day, the atmosphere became much intense because of the pressure each tribes had felt, aiming the same goal which is to win championships for every sports. Every tribes cheered for their strands to boost their participants energy.
On the afternoon part, the most awaiting event has come, the coronation night for the next Lasallian Ambassadress 2017!

AWARDING
This is the most awaiting day for everyone, the awarding day! Who gathers the most points on the three day ANIMO CUP 2017? Who will win the over all champion?

Dear Kuya Mart,
I want to tell you something about what I feel these past few weeks. In this these past few weeks, I’ve been feeling so stressed and tired about everything especially my studies. I don’t already know what to do. I am so stressed that I can barely give myself some time to sleep and rest. And I think that this stress that I am feeling right now is also one of the effects of me wanting to aim high grades and it’s like I cannot already give myself some time for my other priorities in life that are also very important for me especially my health. I want to balance everything but at the end, I always end up feeling so stressed and exhausted over and over again. And feeling this kind of emotion feels very unmotivational and depressing. Please help me become more productive not only mentally but also emotionally and spiritually.

Dear Marco,
I know its hard for you to balance everything especially that you have many priorities but what I want to tell you is that don’t overthink too much about how stressed you are and instead you must look at the bright side and think that the stress you are feeling is what makes you successful to everything that you do. And that you must also reflect on why you are studying very hard because this is only a temporary test for you that you must overcome and always remember that what you are working hard with has always something bigger and better to come for you in the future. And just think that these things that you are doing is only for your own good and for your family as well. For you to balance all your priorities, you must also give atleast a tiny bit of your time and I’m sure that it won’t be much of a hassle for you. For you to keep motivated and driven, always surround yourself with everything you love and with people who loves you because they are the ones who will make you stronger and will make you believe more in yourself that you can overcome all these challenges that you are facing.

I am a sporty person and so whenever I have time one thing that I would usually do is enjoy riding my motorcycle. Aside from sports, I also I love food. For me, whenever I feel stress, I would find myself doing the things I love to do. I believe that thinking positive and doing the things I love helps me to relax and enjoy. It also relieves me from stress. It works for me. 😂😊

What does it take to be a good leader?
1. Sense of humour
Always keep things in perspective and balance because to be a good leader you must also consider the thoughts of others. Use laughter and humour appropriately as an effective stress releaser as well as team builder; smile and laugh often appreciating the positive in all situations.
2. Influencing
Develop a deep understanding of need of different people that surrounds you. Help them as what they need and gain their support. For change to impact in a way that engages responsiveness and commitment.
3. Proactive
Able to anticipate future needs, look ahead, be forward-thinking and translate goals and objectives into strategies, both short-term and long-term; and see all possibilities

Emotion Challenge
1. Don’t react away
Don’t react away because there are many problems that you don’t need to react immediately because for me reacting away is not in my vocabulary. Reacting away makes simple problems bigger. Reacting away makes chaos and sometimes it make things worse.
2. Take a deep breathe
Taking a deep breath makes you control the feelings or emotions that you are into, because taking a deep breath it will make you get rid of fighting or arguing to a person. Taking a deep breath will control your emotions.
3. Forgive and Forget
Forgiving a person is not hard. But forgetting what person is doing is very hard, because it’s easy to forgive than to forget. You can’t forget the things that person do to you. Specially things that is very unforgettable.

"My Kind of Love" My kind of love is that I want to be in a relationship wherein we are the inspiration of each other. I also wanted someone who'll be my drive to be able to reach my dreams in life. Having a relationship with someone who will accept my flaws and imperfections is such a perfect thing for me because I think that accepting each other's flaws and imperfections is one of the first step for a relationship to be real and beautiful. Love is what make things possible and I think that through love, you can be able to feel complete and become driven to strive hard in life because I think in life, all you need is love.

The Genogram
My Father’s family is on the left side he has 2 siblings 1 is his older brother and younger sister.My Mother’s Family is on the right and yes those are her siblings there were 9 of them before but since unfortunately one of them passed away there are now 8 of them healthy and living. Then my Mom and Dad met and you know made us I have an older and a younger sister. Thats pretty much it :D
