And his ability,how would he use that against you?

Well now,he wouldn’t be able to actually use it per se, but he could definitely use it to keep you in line!

First he’ll make sure you see how easily he can kill with just a touch,then anytime you stepout of line,he’ll just step towards you menacingly and back you into a corner before ghosting his fingers over your face.

Letting you know that one wrong move could be fatal and that he was in control here. And he was always going to be.

He isn’t stupid! Theres nothing! That could be used as such in your little apartment (or wherever he’s chosen to keep you for that day/time period)

But if you are dangerously close to your limit and becoming an empty husk of who you were before,then he’l make a decision.

Does he let you meet your demise,whether that be mercifully or not would depend on him of corse, or would he change to make you live just a little longer?

If it’s the former he either leans in for a kiss and places his hand on your cheek,activating his ability,or if he’s feelin a little goofy,then he asks nikolai to do it or cooks something up himself. Something entertaining enough to be worth his time of course! After all,he’s a very busy rat.

But if it’s the latter then he showers you with love and comfort and no of course none of that bad stuff was real! Youre just imagining it myska!

He makes life so unbelievably perfect and once youre yourself again he lets the façade fall and begins to break you again.

And now that youre fully at his mercy again,practically his dog, he can deal he most damage. And that obviously means the most fun, of course~

Can I just.... cellbit suing these people on Twitter feels weird to me. Like they were just believing a potential victim and cellbit didn't exactly refute anything she said previously.

Like I fully believe cellbit and feel bad for him, but suing Twitter users that didn't know that sasa was lying is just odd to me. He should just sue sasa no?

okay yes yes yes yes this is a veeeery good point!!!! thats what i was saying in one of my previous posts - imo the BEST defense these people have is they were just trying to believe a victim, he never denied the claims, in some ways he even agreed with them! he admitted to making mistakes, said he got therapy and changed for the better! and he said all that regarding the accusations, so, like. it was easy to draw the implication that he was owning up to it.

the thing is that there was never any proof, never any investigation, never any judicial action taken against him, never even an official accusation, nothing. it was all sasa's words against his silence. and while yes people were just believing a potential victim, there are limits to things. i believed her for years. i didn't, however, harrass him online because of it. i think the only good way of understanding WHY he's suing specific people is to actually see the tweets, so i'll put some under the cut and talk about them:

this says "here cellbit, a fan for you to abuse just like you did with sasa."

erm. erm. erm. i don't think i even NEED to say anything like what the FUCK is this about.

now, analogies to nazism and pedophilia are both crimes in brazil. this person is accusing him of both without even indicating any proof whatsoever? those are both very serious crimes with very serious punishments.

(i don't speak spanish bear with me. pls feel free to correct me if i translate it wrong)

all the racism and pedophilia claims come mainly from a joke made over 10 years ago. again, he never got convicted of or investigated for anything. this is both difamação AND calúnia tbh

there are actually quite a few tweets about cellbit supposedly beating his girlfriend up but sasa never claimed that he did that. she accused him of psychological abuse, not physical. so saying they were just "believing the victim" doesn't work with this accusation specifically, because they literally made it up and it doesn't match with any of her claims, specially back at the time when she hadn't accused him of sexual assault yet.

so interesting to see people literally admitting theyre accusing him of abuse without knowing the details

again, she never claimed he hit her. authentic is another minecraft youtuber who got canceled for saying homophobic stuff.

yeahhhhhhh there's over 200 of these.

the reason he's suing all these people isn't simply because they believed sasa - it's because they harrassed him. harrassed him, actively tried to harm his image, brought him up when he wasn't even a topic (like to defend forever or authentic) just to say he commited crimes without any proof that he actually committed. so while i think people will be able to say they were just believing the victim, the truth is that he has a lot of support to his claims of being accused of shit without proof. he even added documents to his action that prove he's never been investigated or sued for ANYTHING.

finally, regarding him suing sasa: i bet he will. i'm like, 100% he's already suing her. it's probably under judicial secrecy for now, and we might never get access to it, but,,,,, yeah. he's definitely suing her as well, i think he's just also taking action against people who harrass him online after seven years of taking it silently.

that's the overall i hope it made sense and wasn't too long asjkdbkajsbd still open to answer any other questions :)

god i cant wait for this fandom to get reading comprehension when it comes to literally anything related to shen jiu. was shen jiu abused physically, and probably sexually? yes. did luo bingge do a lot of heinous shit as an adult? absolutely.

however. this doesn't erase the fact that the reason luo bingge is the way he is is BECAUSE of shen jiu. you take shen jiu out of the picture. congratulations, that is entirely what created bingmei. shen jiu being abused made him horrible, and thats also what happened with luo bingge. its a cycle of abuse that started with qiu jianluo. thats the point. an entire fucking theme of the book is that love breaks cycles of abuse and we can only improve as people if we have love. thats an entire theme of the book.

anyways. i adore shen jiu. i relate to shen jiu in certain ways. i've spent a lot of time analyzing him because i love him. he's my fave svsss character. thats why i hate the sterilized version of him so many people talk about. yes, he abused disciples other than luo binghe. and while him killing qiu jianluo was understandable, 1. qiu jianluo was 19 when he died 2. the whole thing was horrible for qiu haitang who deserved none of it 3. the guards and other men deserved to die as much as ming fan and the disciples of cang qiong mountain sect when luo bingge burned down the sect. every part of the cycle escalates the violence, the wife who kills luo bingge will likely escalate things even further.

also leave yue qingyuan alone, the only thing he did wrong was allow shen jiu to abuse luo binghe, but yall dont really seem to care about that. qi-ge has trauma too.

Attention: bad comic alert!

So French publisher Delcourt had just dropped third tome of graphic novel "Le Serpent et la Lance" known in English "The Snake and the Spear".

The whole series is absolutely bollocks, racist towards Mesoamerican natives and propagates very harmful stereotypes. Before I explain it more, watch that production video below:

Its in French, and here are explanations what I noticed is wrong on that video:

He uses a controversial historical fiction book as inspiration, Gary Jenning's "Aztec" that has lots of questionable violent and borderline pornographic content combined with confabulations (01:25)

He claims how Aztecs were "bloodthirsty" "just like Japanese" and combined it with "beauty of art". Justifying putting extreme violence in work with an 'other' culture reeks of Orientalism and obsolete anthropology like "Chrysanthemum and Sword". And in case of Mexica (Aztecs) its a continuation of colonial era racism (01:38).

Apparently (on table) as one visual references he has very old and obsolete illustrated book (from red covered Hatchette series) for children about native civilizations in Americas, with illustrations by Pierre Jourbert (01:25).

And speaking of comics themselves:

The main plot is about serial killer, that is doing, unauthorised human sacrifices by obducting and mummifying young girls (Aztecs did not practised that).

But it is not even a proper crime story, 70% of two first tomes are childhood retrospections.

Also that comic has a little backstory of warrior retrospecting how he got promoted by CAPTURING HIS OWN SUPERIOR. I cant stand that idiocy. He things that Aztecs were Orcs or Klingons?

The author is a lame storyteller. He uses awfully dated cliches, like associating physical deformities with evil and amorality.

The Mexica society is shown as one that is extremely cruel, fatalistic, violent and physically disgusting. The government investigators are killing more people than preparator of killing of girls, in order to cover up these murders. Again, its not a parody comic, its all deadly serious.

The most annoying aspect of storytelling here is oversaturation with internal and interpersonal conflicts. The main character, merchant Spear Eye, is conflicted with his family and his older sister acts like a fussy rude teenager. His close friend (a senior rain god Tlaloc priest) with whom he has literal blood bonding pact, is backstabbing him and is showed having sadistic/masochistic personality (makes me wonder if in the end it would be revealed that he is mastermind behind the murderer).

Another thing is to give every mayor character some sort of depressing, disturbing or unfortunate background, as if writer of the script was following some sort of rigid set of rules that says that severe trauma, poor mental health or misfortunes makes character interesting. While those things can make good character development, they are not suitable for every story and every occasion. Overall, the Aztec society is shown as a parade of misery, masochism, sadism and body horrors.

Its bad storytelling combined with bad takes on history.

I do not like it, just i do not like later tomes of his previous saga "Okko" that has its own issues with storytelling and characters. Mr Hub is very capable of making action scenes but his comics are biased towards violence, backstabbing and sociopathy, things that makes excellent base for violent action scenes, but not believable ordinary life and crime mystery.

Do not get excited over it, do not buy it, maybe just borrow from library or friend. You were warned.

Ive never interacted with you before and I'm on anon because I've seen people get dogpiled and accused of "violence" for just passively disagreeing with someone in the cripplepunk tag. Don't worry though, I'm blocking you after this. I don't want your poorly informed bs opinions on my dash anymore.

I thought your reasoning didn't make sense, because glasses still fit the definitions you're giving. Your definition given also just outright excludes ambulatory mobility aid users because they can't still "move" without the aids. I actually know people IRL who call their glasses mobility aids and my question was motivated by that, yet these people don't exist in your world? Im sorry it's just really weird.

You also can't just say they aren't mobility aids if you don't use them or need them that way. It doesn't really back up your point. My friends who call them that cant move without them. It's like saying, "a cane isn't a mobility aid because you can limp without it! I can limp without my cane so that means all people can! You don't NEED it to move!" like that sounds ridiculous. That's what you're saying about glasses. That's what you sound like.

The people disagreeing with you are physically disabled, so it doesn't make sense that you think a word is being "taken" from physically disabled people by other physically disabled people to discribe something they have an experience with.

Like I'm sorry but I'm gonna trust my friend saying their glasses are just as much of a mobility aid as their rollator. If I listen to you, I ignore the way they talk about their needs, and making them change a word they use to discribe something is hard because they have autism. Who stands to be hurt more by that? It's more like you're taking it from the people who need their glasses to be respected and thought of as mobility aids because you're the one saying "you can't say this". the only one thinking it changes the definition is you. Your response to my message didn't make literally any sense.

You are genuinely such a loser. It's so obvious that you're the same person, I already saw you comment using this same alt account that you made just to continue a stupid argument that I want no part in.

Jane (from Daria)

Jane was so cool. Jane is more who i am as an adult vs as a teen, as a teen i was all sourpuss daria wishing i was quinn. She has some of the best lines in the show, she always rebelled against authority, and was just a bamf. I love her

Lisa Simpson (the Simpsons)

Cant tell im an animation geek? While simpson finally lost me in s33 but Lisa raised me. Im not sure i could ever meet Yeardley Smith, id prbly snot cry

Ed (OFMD)

I love him. Hes a damaged hottie whos a murder and a softie (much like Guillermo). I cried when he was in the blanket for. Taika seems to be immensely annoying as a person rn (blackfish wife and not apologizing for terf ass shit from 2013-14) but ill always love his acting in this. Thanks Kayvan for teaching me to separate the character from the actor

Miss Fisher (Miss Fisher)

I dunno why i took so damn long to watch this show given i love feminists, 1920s, and sassiness. She is the og bamf. And id kill for any part of her wardrobe

Val (Uncle)

Val is so awesome (nvm gorgeous con o neill with his titties out owning a male strip club and being a good dad). Val isnt a main character and you can tell by the end they were figuring reasons to keep him (Val identifies as male) around. His relationship with Andy is really great too. Starts out pure hatred, for bothering his daughter (Andy’s ex). Ends with them being good buds

Laszlo Cravensworth (WWDITS)

Much like ofmd this list could be pure wwdits if not per fandom. Im going with Laszlo. Id fuck him today. Id also fuck matt berry today good god that man is sexy af. Believe it or not pre wwdits i hadnt really heard of him (i hate it and im american so most of it passed me by). Hes a good dad, unlike nandor he found a way to grow even if small. Hes a loving husband, and beyond that he doesnt give a fuck about anyone. Just fucking and sucking, loving his wife and his son

Franklin Sherman (The Critic) (shame on tumblr having no gif)

Franklin is what u get when u mash Frank Reynolds with Pam Poovey. The Critic was a brief but shining star and its Simpsons crossover gave us some great lines. Franklin was rich as piss, former govenor of new york, and completely well despite being a weirdo (theyd tell ppl he had a stroke to explain his personality like nandor). I love Franklin

Peter (The Great)

I call The Great straight Ofmd. Same loose history as ofmd about Catherine the Great. Irl she killed Peter. In the show she imprisons him. He starts as an enemy and does shit as dumb as Nandor (kills her lover cuz she actually loved him despite peter fucking everything). BUT then he takes a Laszlo turn: hes deeply excited to be a dad and is actually a good dad to the point other rich ppl are like ew wtf? Hes also extremely wtf?

Roger Smith (American Dad)

Wonder why Guillermo doesnt bother me? Been watching this dude since 2005. Hes an alien the smiths take in while playing every gender and sexuality he can think of (to the point the world falls apart without him unless the illuminati have killed him). Hes also a serial killer, commits many acts of violence, says he hates sex back home on his planet cuz its ‘all consensual.’ Hes also fucked and been many celebrities real and imagined

hospital worker reacts! a self-indulgent list of the funniest thing from every episode of season 1 of House MD

for context im an admin worker specifically in outpatients, so my knowledge of american inpatient wards is minimal at best

LETS GO

s1e01: this is bc i work in australian public health, but the idea of tenure as something a doctor can achieve

s1e02: the sheer concept of consultants searching for an absconded patient. where are your wardies and security officers??

s1e03: these people are highly qualified specialists and theyre... running their own pathology tests. do they literally have not a single patient on the ward they could be seeing??

s1e04: this one is funny bc its true but cuddy making all the med students swab rooms for infection because "its not like theyre doing anything else"

s1e05: dr wilson is MARRIED? to a WOMAN??

s1e06: literally sooooo funny when they break into a house to investigate a patient's history. i cant even get my registrars to check their emails.

s1e07: patients will tell anyone their personal fucking business. like they tell me, the person literally just trying to book their appointment, about their parents dying or their domestic violence incidents. doctors returning those details with some deep meaningful life lesson? HAHAHAHA.

s1e08: this isnt funny but the woman getting snippy and aggressive about her sons treatment literally gave me anxiety palpitations its too accurate

s1e09: in this episode, chase schedules non-emergency neuro/vasc surgery for. later the same day. i am DYING to know what the theatre schedules and e-board look like at this hospital.

s1e10: this was just a good episode i guess nothing to say here. go rabies!

s1e11: genuinely cant believe its taken eleven episodes for someone to deck house. a nurse probably wouldve done it by now if nurses existed in this hospital for longer than 10 seconds at a time.

s1e12: wilson realising he cant go to the monster truck rally with house is genuinely the most heartwrenching acting of the show so far

s1e14: the way these people act about transplant lists is SO funny. i have minimal interaction with this so im gonna go ahead and assume every one of my dialysis kidney transplant patients went through something exactly this dramatic

s1e15: THEY BROUGHT A PIG ONTO THE WARD HHDNDMSMMFFMG

s1e16: the woman refusing surgery for her 30 pound tumour because. she doesn't want a cosmetic scar. ive had this exact conversation i think.

s1e17: house full on tortures a patients in this one. i once had a complaint filed against me because i told an inpatient her ultrasound had been rescheduled.

s1e18: looming spectre of privatised healthcare vs my personal dislike of house's actions FIGHT

s1e19: this is my favourite episode so far bc it has a bed manager as a character. "if she dies at least we'll have a bed free" is also something ive heard multiple times.

s1e20: nothing to say abt the plot but house and wilsons little freak relationship is giving me life tbqh

s1e21: the patients writing "not this leg" before a possible amputation made me v happy!! a case of truth being funny enough for television

s1e22: aaaand one last patient assault to round out the season! i just dont understand how he isnt physically in jail!

final verdict im obsessed with this show im gonna watch all three hundred seasons

i knew already that the song was probably about his job or at least some parts of it. and it has definitely something to do with the five-more-years contract he signed with syco in 2015. but now listening closely to the lyrics i just realized it talks about an abusive relationship. I did some research, cause not having experienced anything like this firsthand, it’s the least I can do. pretty sure it's a metaphor. cause if it's not i'll throw myself out of a flying plane. but yeah it's clearly an abusive relationship he's talking about.

'i know you say you know me well, but these days i don't even know myself' ☞ " a form of psychological manipulation: gaslighting. It causes victims to doubt their memories, judgment, and sanity.”

'i always thought i'd be with someone else' pretty self-explanatory. he never thought he would find himself still in this situation. he thought he would be with someone else by now.

'i thought i would own the way i felt’ ☞ “ victims are often made to believe that they cause—and therefore deserve—their own abuse and unhappiness, making the cycle much harder to break.“

the cycle. it’s a cycle -> ‘baby, here we go again’ - ‘I just keep on coming back to you’.

‘I call you but you never even answer, I tell myself I’m done with wicked games’ this is literally what people in a relationship of this kind always tell to themselves, i think. they're like this is the last time, i won’t let it happen again. i won’t let them hurt me again, i will report this to the police or i will talk to my family or friends about this. 'all the bullshit that you put me through' -> all the bullshit that they put him through. what they did to him, what he's been through, what was going on, what happened. or… ・you is actually the same, and the abuser won’t ever know all of what they actually did to him (psychological damage).

i have a serious problem. im not even a discourse blog but im going to be spill it

nobody talks about it on my dash, which in itself is offensive, because thats a warning sign that most of these people are probably active enablers.

but ill be the one to say it i guess

The Umbrella Academy on netflix is super problematic and everyone keeps ignoring the harm its doing and im sick of it

The main "characters" on this show kill people with barely any care. I knew I should be worried that two people who do creative writing in show business like Steven Blackman and MCR would try and cross moral lines and of course they did. and the worst part is theyre paid to do it.

but theyre nowhere near as bad as the fans who glorify killing for free.

you wont believe some of the fics ive seen when voluntarily browsing through the TUA tags, and most of the time i dont even read the tags or filter them out, because whats the point I cant escape it. i guess i need to see it repeatedly day after day to even believe its real. if i dont go looking for it, then i might forget it exists.

and worst of all is the Five fans. hes so dangerous and gets excited about hurting people clearly and yet THESE VIOLENCE LOVING fans dont even care hes a CHILD, and yeah hes 58 but his mind and body and soul is entirely 13 and always will be!! they write or do these fanarts of him covered in blood and killing people anyway. wtf?

its frankly upsetting. i dont feel safe around these people, i dont know why they would support this. its wrong, morally, and its freaking illegal, and just repulsive. who would glorify such an act in their "writing"? only people who are quite literally okay with killing or people being killed write this kind of stuff. freaks. write about not illegal things, or is that too difficult when youre thinking about serial killing all the time? paedos.

and im speaking as someone who's great great grandfather was murdered, if i have to say it so youll believe me. in fact he was murdered with an axe, and everytime people put some gross Five (a CHILD) content in the tags where he's full of blood or weilding an axe like a godless sinner, I get physically nauseous. (i did watch it in the show when it happened the first time. and the other times. but i ignored it because it was so wrong obviously. but then i come to the umbrella academy fandom and have to see it again and again and again. these fans are so much worse than the original creators who wrote this. they do this for a hobby, and some of them are literally 30. i bet their family doesnt know they support this. why dont they go to their jobs or take their kids to church or smthg).

That night you got a text from JJ’s number.

JJ: Hey Y/N, it’s Pope. I stole JJ’s phone and he’s trying to kill me over it right now.

JJ: Anyway, he hasn’t stopped talking about you. Just thought you should know.

JJ: Don’t let him hide you from us.

JJ: Kay gotta go, can’t breathe, bye

You laughed out loud at Pope’s texts and swooned over the fact that JJ was talking about you to his friends and that the Pogues, or Pope at least, seemed like he wanted to hangout with you.Then more texts came through.

JJ: Sry pope doesnt kno wut hes talking about. ignore him.

JJ: i cant let ur head get any bigger knowing tht im simping for u over here. I’ll have to put u in ur place again.😉

Y/N: Is that place on my knees in front of you?

You went to sleep that night blissfully happy. But you woke up full of dread knowing you had to breakup with Rafe.

You texted him telling him that you needed to see him and talk. He seemed to know something was up, but he told you to meet him at your favorite park in Figure 8.

Before you left to meet him, you texted JJ that you were meeting Rafe. And then you shared your location with him. You had a feeling JJ would end up being close by, but you frowned when he didn’t text back and thought maybe you should call him. No, it’ll be fine. Rafe doesn’t need to know what happened. I’ll just end it and it’ll be fine.

You pulled up to the park and saw Rafe....

You had worn a hoodie, because it was the only thing you had that would really cover all the hickeys, that you also tried, pretty unsuccessfully, to cover with make-up.

“Hey beautiful” he greeted you softly from his spot seated at a bench and kissed your cheek as you sat down next to him. You were ashamed of yourself that you still felt a warm fuzzy feeling despite the fact that Rafe didn’t you treat you right and JJ already showed you more affection in such a short time.

“Hey doll” you greeted back out of habit.

You and Rafe were both quiet for a minute, but it wasn’t uncomfortable. You and Rafe enjoyed the scenery and the nearby fountain in silence.

“It’s over huh?” He asked solemnly, still looking off in the distance at first and then to you.

“Yeah” You admitted with a sigh before continuing, “I think we’re just growing apart and maybe we’re not the best for one another.” You said slowly.

You hated yourself for saying it that way, for not calling Rafe out on everything. And you hated yourself for not being 100% truthful that you cheated. But a part of you still loved him and a bigger part of you was just trying to survive this without a screaming match or something worse.

Rafe nodded and offered a small smile.

“I’ll always love you though. You know that right?” He said, squeezing your hand gently.

You melted a little. Rafe really could be the boyfriend you needed ...sometimes.

“Me too” is all you said with a gentle smile.

Rafe sighed and stood up. He opened his arms out for a hug. You stepped in and wrapped your arms around his waist.

That wasn’t so bad you thought as you breathed in his cologne one last time and savored being in his arms for a second.

You felt Rafe shift a little and playing with the hood of your sweatshirt.

“Why’re you wearing a hoodie?” He asked, with genuine intrigue in his voice. You felt your heart stop and you tried to stop yourself from sweating more than you already were. You swallowed hard and then cleared your throat, trying to act casual.

“Just was a little chilly earlier.” You stated simply, pulling away from Rafe. Who looked at you skeptically.

“It’s July. It’s hot as fuck out. There’s no way you’re cold.” He said tugging at the hem of the jacket. You pushed his hands away.

“Rafe stop. I wanna keep it on. I’m cold.” You said, trying to squirm away from him. He firmly grabbed hold of both your wrists and pulled you towards him a little, motivating you to look up at his now deeply disbelieving expression. The furrow in his brow, made you nervous and you bit the inside of your cheek. You could see the gears turning in his head as he registered your very guilty and scared demeanor you couldn’t hide.

“Why’re you wearing a jacket, Y/N?” He asked in a sternly dangerous tone that gave you goosebumps. Your breathing started getting heavy.

“Rafe” You warned nervously.

His jaw became clenched. And he forcefully ripped the hemline of your pullover upward and wrenched your arm out one of the sleeves.

“Rafe! Stop!” You yelled at him as you tried to squirm away but he manhandled you and harshly tugged your hoodie the rest of the way off and threw it on the ground, leaving you in your sports bra, completely exposing the hickeys on your neck and chest. You quickly tried to cover yourself and reach down for your hoodie at the same time, but Rafe grabbed your forearms again, hard enough to leave bruises.

Fuck. Where’s JJ when you need him?

Rafe looked you up and down before tightening his grip on your arms. “You little fucking whore.” He swore through gritted teeth.

“Rafe you’re hurting me.” You said with a whiny tone you couldn’t hold back.

“You’re just cold, huh? I can’t believe you fucked another guy, you cheating slut!” He spat as he throttled you.

“Rafe calm down.” You said, trying not to cry. God, JJ, please come. “I’m sorry, okay?”

“You’re sorry?! You’re sorry?!” Rafe laughed darkly, before moving a hand to your throat, but not fully squeezing yet. “You cheat on me and all you can say is you’re sorry?!”

“Rafe! Please!” You begged, tears now welling up in your eyes.

“Who’d you let fuck you, Y/N? Hmm? Who marked you up knowing you were mine?”

“Rafe, please let go!” You cried.

“Tell me who it was, Y/N!” He growled at you in a way that made your blood run cold and he started to squeeze your throat. You clawed at his hand and his arm as he cut off your airway.

“Cameron!” JJ yelled as he ran over to you. Rafe was caught off guard and let go of your throat. You collapsed to the ground gasping for air. JJ immediately was at your side.

“Y/N! Are you okay? Go to your car, now.” JJ told you. But you stayed in your position, mostly out of necessity, given the fact you couldn’t breathe.

“You’ve gotta be kidding me” Rafe said. “You cheated on me with this fucking piece of shit pogue?!” He asked you, as JJ stood up and faced him.

“Leave. Now.” JJ told Rafe.

Rafe snorted, “Or what?” He challenged, stepping towards JJ.

Right then, police sirens went off. All 3 of you turned to see a Kildare County Sheriff SUV and Shoupe step out.

“Is there a problem gentleman?” Shoupe asked them walking towards the 3 of you.

Rafe and JJ were glaring at each other. You took the opportunity to put your hoodie back on.

Finally, Rafe said, “No problem here officer.” As he didn’t take his eyes off JJ, daring him to rat him out.

“Looks like you’re on the wrong side of town, Mr. Maybank. Everything okay Miss Y/L/N?” Shoupe asked.

“Yeah, JJ came to take me home. Rafe was just leaving.” You said.

By now, Shoupe had taken notice of the red mark on your neck and the fact you were on the ground with a defensive JJ in between you and Rafe. It was very obvious what had been going on.

“Mr. Cameron, I think you should head on home now.” Shoupe said. And you internally rolled your eyes. Of course, Shoupe would let Rafe just leave.

Rafe just glared at JJ.

“Rafe.” Shoupe said more firmly.

“I’ll see you soon Y/N, Maybank.” He promised in a dangerous tone before turning toward his car.

JJ watched him leave with his fists clenched. Once Rafe was driving away, JJ took a deep breath and pulled you into a tight hug.

“Miss Y/L/N, do you need to see a doctor?” Shoupe asked.

“No, I’m fine.” You said from JJ’s arms.

“Alright. You 2 take care, now.” Shoupe said as both an apology and a warning getting back in his car.

Now, it was just you and JJ. He was still holding you tight. “Are you okay?” He asked softly, glancing down at you. You nodded but kept your head tight to his chest squeezing his waist and cried a little.

You only let yourself cry for a second and then sucked it up and when you sniffled, JJ held you back a little so he could look at you. He checked your expression and waited for you to nod as he slowly and gently pulled the collar of your hoodie down a little so he could see your neck.

A pained grimace appeared on JJ’s face and anyone looking at him could have probably seen his heart break in front of them as he looked at your injury.

You might have JUST admitted feelings for each other yesterday, but you couldn’t explain it. You and JJ felt right. It was young summer love, a whirlwind romance where you both fell hard and fast. And the fact that he was partly at fault for the huge hematoma forming on your neck, the fact Rafe quite literally could have killed you made JJ feel like crumbling.

“I’m gonna kill him.” JJ said to himself more than you. “Fuck, I’m so sorry Y/N.”

“JJ. This is not your fault. Okay? Rafe is the one who had his hand around my neck not you.” You said with your hands holding his face.

“But I-”

“No! Stop! I’m telling you this isn’t your fault. And I’m fine. See? I’m in one piece.”

JJ almost had tears spilling out.

“I promise.” You reassured him. He closed his eyes and nodded.

“So you taking me out on a date or what, Maybank?” You asked, desperately just wanting to see JJ’s face free of anguish again. He smiled a little and sniffled.

“Yeah, I’m taking you out. Give me your keys.” He said smiling.

“Uh uh” You tsked, “You think I’m gonna let you drive my Porsche? I’ve seen you take a turn in John B’s van on 2 wheels. I’m not letting you behind the wheel of my baby.”

“Fine” JJ pouted. But then he snatched the keys from your hand and mimicked the shocked look on your face and taunted you.

“JJ!” You shouted reaching for the keys, but he held them out of reach from you.

“Ooh sucks to be short, huh Y/N?” He said as he stumbled to your car still holding you back from the keys.

“JJ.” You said seriously. “Give. Me. My. Keys.” He just looked at you waiting for you to threaten something as he stood next to the driver’s door. “Give me my keys or I’m not sucking your dick for a month.” You threatened.

“Pfft” JJ scoffed, “Like you could go a month without begging for my cock down your throat? Bet” He said, nodding his chin up at you. You contemplated it and you knew he was probably right. You furrowed your brow.

“I swear to god, if you crash my car, I will kill you Maybank.” You said as you walked to the passenger’s.

“Whoo!” JJ cheered before awkwardly crawling into your front seat. “Jesus, your seat’s so close to the wheel!” He complained throwing the seat back and fixing all the mirrors.

“JJ! You are fucking up all my stuff!” You yelled at him and punched him in the arm. He ignored you and revved the engine.

“Ooofff” JJ groaned, “this is making me so horny. Can we have sex later?”

You glared at him.

“You’re eating me out for at least an hour for stealing my car.” You folded your arms and looked out the front windshield. JJ leaned over and pecked your cheek.

“My pleasure baby.” he said, throwing your car in drive and screeching the tires.

“JJ!”

A rant about Fanon!Romione

Well, since I’ve read quite a bit of Romione fan fic in my life now, I noticed a theme of character mistakes/weird things in general that i dislike about fanon!romione/fanfic!romione. So let’s get into it. the list goes (in no particular order):

Dominant/straightforward Ron: I don’t read much explicit stuff so i’ll largely talk about mature/teen rated stuff. I don’t understand how Ron will be straightforward, direct and dominant with Hermione ever, unless he was either under the influence or like a completely different character. Ron is very shy. he is brave, yeah. but bravery can still leave you awkward, introverted and insecure (see: Neville). So Ron ever making the first move sounds weird to me. By first move I mean first kiss, first sexual encounter etc. this doesn’t extend to heartfelt stuff like “i love you” or proposing because by that time, with Hermione, Ron would have enough confidence to do that. However, in the beginning stages there is no chance of him just saying “i love you” to her out of nowhere or kiss her in as early as Half-Blood Prince. Need I remind you, Hermione initiates the first kiss. Hermione might be insecure but she is much more confident than Ron is in making the first move. So yeah, low chance of Ron randomly kissing her, telling her his feelings for her etc out of nowhere. That would probably be led by a conversation initiated by Hermione which led to some encounter. Ron himself initiating any of this is far fetched in the Hogwarts era.

Hermione’s always right: I believe how fanfics treat Hermione in so many Romione fics has caused me to dislike her in fanon (i still like her in canon), because again, even if she does messed up, questionable things in canon/fics, she will never be held accountable and will always come up with some excuse and gaslight Ron into apologizing. I’ve seen this so many times: Hermione behaves poorly- making snap judgements in AUs, jumping to conclusions and not listening to anyone else, saying extremely mean shit to Ron in certain arguments etc etc. but she’s never held accountable. We forget that she kissed Krum in 4th year (gross! btw) and continued sending him letters in front of Ron to make him jealous. We forget very conveniently that Hermione also does anything she can do in her power to make Ron jealous. Even saying stuff like “I only like good quidditch players.” which is so rude and uncalled for. She sure does make Ron jealous, however there is a good chance she increases his level of insecurities way more and as a result, pushes him away. She also attacks him with canaries- that is actual physical violence, right? But in fanfic, its Ron who will apologize for dating Lavender or Yule Ball or something. Hermione will ridicule Ron for being jealous, though. I have seen fics where Hermione almost gets with Ron, then deserts him and goes snogging other guys but since it’s written from her pov, she always gets away with it. Y’all know Ron wouldn’t get away with this!

Fanon!Hermione is like Movie Hermione: i think at various points, fanon!Hermione reminds me of movie!Hermione because of how excellent she’s portrayed to be in these fanfics. Now Ron is mostly written as Book!Ron which I can appreciate, of course. However, Movie!Hermione is not suitable for literally anyone. She’s too much of a Mary Sue. If you made eye contact with Movie!Hermione you’d explode from how bloody perfect she is. If you dated Movie!Hermione, you’d just feel like shit because you wouldn’t be even comparable to her. In essence, Fanon!Hermione is always perfect in every regard: she is emotionally intelligent, romantic, everything and everything that she isn’t in the books.

Ron is a bit of a perv: seriously, most of these fanfics include Ron being a weird pervert, just constantly having sex dreams about Hermione, wanking in the shower etc which is perfectly fine. Some even have him stealing her underwear and shit like what the hell is this? This is Ron Weasley! I’m sure teenagers are sexually frustrated sometimes, I would know, I AM one, but come on, this isn’t even hot. Otherwise it’s just Ron ogling Hermione and it’s written as if he’s a pervert. If it’s the other way round, no one even seems to mind! Now Hermione doesn’t really mind this in the fanfics but I still cant get around this.

Convenient perceptions: people in fanfics have made quite a few convenient perceptions, especially for Hermione. Most fics suggest that Hermione didn’t kiss Krum and that Krum kissed her. Ginny practically describes it as snogging. Now Ginny might be exaggerating- it could’ve been a one sided kiss, it could have been a mutual peck. But it’s almost always one sided. IDK just sounds like you’re writing up a narrative to make her look like an innocent person and Ron look like an asshole.

Previously, Rilla's breakfasts were perfunctory if she even bothered at all, and her mid-day breaks were a matter of whenever-the-hell she managed to hit a stopping point in her experiments or her appointments, depending on the day. Sometimes, she wouldn't bother eating at all until supper. Lately, however-

Well, she likes having a time she can tell Damien to stop by. He seems genuinely delighted to bring her breakfast, or an early lunch, nevermind her protests and nevermind her insistence on paying him back with tea or herbs or what little extra produce her garden provides. He's too damn sweet, honestly, he's just... a sweetheart.

More of a sweetheart than she probably deserves, all things considered. Or- she knows he wouldn't be so sweet if he knew about the research she keeps hidden under her floorboards. Probably. Maybe not. She can't say for certain, can she? Maybe he'd still be exactly as much of a sweetheart if he knew- and she doesn't feel guilty, really, but if she thinks too hard about how sweetly he treats her, it does make her wanna blush. A little. Rilla isn't exactly used to being spoiled.

She isn't really used to taking frequent breaks, either. It's been noticeably bad for her productivity, of course, but she can't deny that it's done wonders for her mood.

He comes with wrapped packages a little after sunrise, today, a familiar scent following him, and when Rilla recognizes it she grins wide and swipes one of the paper-wrapped bundles out of his hands before he even opens his mouth.

"No way," she says, and Damien hides a smile behind his free hand as he watches her unwrap the food. She knows she's right purely from the smell, she would recognize it anywhere; from the best food cart in the whole Citadel- she hasn't had it since-

MONACHOPSIS

You didn’t know about the rumors until the brunette boy you knew as Pope stood over you and his facial expression turned negative. He was angry and he clearly couldn’t help but let it show, he was good with his emotions unless someone hurt those he had loved, then he let them all go and he didn’t care who was in his way. “ Come on. You have to be kidding me! You know he is completely fragile and you chose to cheat on him with the one person that literally almost killed him! You're better than this!”

You looked up and shook your head when you saw JJ, he was walking towards you with some sort of anger spread over his lips. He looked like he was ready to commit a murder in all honesetly, you didn’t know what to say to him or even what to do to make him believe you. He reached you rather fast when his eyes traced over your face, he was completely broken up about this fact and now it would cause him to resort to nothing more than a deep anger at the bottom of his bones.

He had a look of sadness that sat over his face, it all tied to some fake rumor started at a party, something stupid that you didn’t know about. JJ was hurt and you couldn’t be the one to fix it, you couldn’t even help it, you did this, that's what you figured, you did this. “ you know. I have very rarely trusted people with my emotions, I don't open up.. I defend those who can't defend themselves, I give way to many chances and - I know everyone has some sort of expectation about me, and you- you know, you have always been the one person that made me feel like- I didn’t have to impress you, but of course, you're just like everyone else.”

“ i didn’t do it!” Just like everyone else. You are just like everyone else. A moment passed when you blinked and he was gone, he walked away and didn’t even give you a second to reply. That was the end of your relationship in that moment, you had lost the one thing you wanted to have, you lost JJ, the love of your life. YOu had to do something in that moment and you would do what you could, you took a second and started to walk towards Rafe's house. He lived on the high end side and you didn’t care if his family would see a poor person like you standing in his yard, he had to own up to what he did.

Sarah waved to you and kept walking down to the dock when her brother finally came outside, you took a deep breath when you walked closer to him and grabbed him by the shirt, pushing him down. He hit the ground and you stood over him, your eyes clouded with tears when he had been staring up once more, “ don't you even know what in the hell you did, daddy;s money isn't going to fix this one you messy son of a bitch! You ruined the one good thing I had going for me just so you can make me seem like one of your many one night stands, I'll have you know one thing you rich weasel!”

You stopped when you soothed the anger in your bones, you were able to control that feeling but you said what he needed to hear. He needed to hear this, “ you really think any of those girls wanted to sleep with you? They slept with you so they could feel something, girls sleep with who they want, guys sleep with anyone they possibly could. Learn your place rich boy before you end up at the bottom of a pond where you deserve.”

Rafe stared up at you and that moment you knew you messed up, he had been angry and stood up to grab your hair. THe man pulled you down to the ground when he climbed on top of you and straddled your hips, he wasn't gonna let you get up when he started to beat you. He used his fists, hitting you until he could feel the pain in his knuckles, once he had hit you enough to cause a black eye and a busted lip, he got up and kicked you in the stomach. You screamed in pain until you got the attention of Sarah, the one princess who was willing to take care of everyone else.

She rushed at her brother and pushed him off, you rolled over and coughed up blood, it stained the bright brown deck and she shook her head. “ rafe! You delusional idiot, what in the hell did you do!” Rafe rolled over and laughed when he was able to sit up and stare at you, “ funny thing about men, Y/N, girls cant fight who they want, but men can, it's what happens when you are strong. Isn't that funny..”

The man got up and laughed when he had started to walk away, he didn’t care about any of what had been said, he didn’t bother to take care of you, he left you bleeding with his little sister, staring into your eyes with a sorrowful expression. You curled into a little ball, hugging your knees to your chest when she rubbed your back “ I know it hurts, I know.. I need you to look at me, I can't help unless you let me..”

You left the girl help, she put a butterfly bandage on your lip and the small slit in your eyebrow, causing the pain to seep into your skin rather than on the outside. You went home after then, placing an icepack on your stomach and laid down on your bed. The pain was coming and going in waves, any little breath you took seemed to awaken that feeling inside of you, but you would then let it die out to stop breathing for another minute.

JJ sat on the boat when Sarah showed up, she sat down on the lap of her boyfriend, running her fingers through his hair and she had her own tea to spread. “ so.. You won’t believe what happened, Y/N showed up to talk about the rumor that Rafe spread, you know that he slept with a bunch of girls but - anyways..”

He had instantly paid attention to what she was saying, John B nodded while this conversation was only supposed to be between the two of them, he couldn’t help but listen. “ oh.. Yah, uh, maybe we should avoid that subject, JJ and her just broke up..” JJ shook his head when he heard that you had gone over there, he sat down in front of Sarah and nodded weakly, he needed to know what happened, “ what happened. I don't care if we just broke up, I need to know what- what happened. Please.”

“ JJ.. it's been one long rumor, she never slept with him, she was with me that night, all night, she ended up in the toilet most of the time, her and vodka don't mix.. But she came over and confronted Rafe, and it got - got to the point where he laid his hands on her.. I wasn’t able to stop it - at least not before I heard her scream for help.” He felt his heart ache and the guilt instantly swept over him, he licked his lips while rubbing his jaw and got to his feet. The man rushed to the house where Rafe lived, he had his gun in hand and prepared to kill him if need be, he wanted to hurt him, kill him.

He beat the living hell out of Rafe until his knuckles were a deep red and scabbed over with blood along with bruises because of what he did. Rafe had a new enemy and most of all JJ had to win you back and your trust, he betrayed you and trusted the words of a liar over you. He was sore and his white shirt covered in blood, a new bruise on the lower region of his jaw but it was nothing compared to what happened to Rafe.

JJ knocked on the door weakly, having soon been pulled open by you. You Had been in a large shirt, an ice pack on your stomach when you could only see out of one eye, he couldn’t bare to look at you, he wasn't there to defend you. He had done nothing to help you, “ baby.. I heard about what happened and- I am so sorry.. I should have known better. You wouldn't do that to me, i- I had been angry and didn’t mean any of those words I said. “

“ why - why are you covered in blood..” He moved forwards and just held your hips when he hugged you, he made sure not to squeeze you too hard, refusing to let go of you. He buried his head into your neck when he kissed it softly, letting his lips grace over your skin like they had many times. “ I had a few words with Rafe before I showed up here.. He won't be talking bad about you ever again.. This is all his blood.. Please forgive me.. I love you..”

You smiled once more and wrapped your arms around his, letting the ice pack fall out of your hands when you felt the pain seep through but ignored it when he was around, this was her person, he always has been. “ i love you too.. Don't you ever do that to me again, i got my ass kicked for you, now.. Now why don't you come inside.. We can watch a movie.. I could use a movie session with my boyfriend..”

“ boyfriend.. It's good to hear those words come out of your mouth again.. I am sorry.. Let me bandage you up again, I can help you, and maybe teach you to take care of yourself rather than letting Sarah do so.. A butterfly bandage , really? He snickered weakly and you loved that laugh, the little giggle that made your heart race so terribly fast.
