i was going to type out a huge post about the stage since i snuck in one last full watch before it went away but tumblr killed my post as i was making it and i don’t feel like making another one lol

so new encounter thoughts: clifnotes version!!!!! it’s fitting bc that’s what this stage was anyway lol

i enjoyed myself!!!!! i wasn’t disappointed by any performances, tho since i was ride or die for akira ichiro and ayukawa jakurai, i felt those losses keenly lol. i was also surprised how much i felt like i was missing aramaki sasara watching this play lol. there were some changes to the origin stories, ofc lol, but the stage has always had superior bb takes so i really appreciate them changing ichiro’s more shallow dismissal of his bros in canon to him being scared for them after what happened with samatoki and chuuoku. it’s his biggest conflict in these battles so i appreciate them making it a primary focus

i read a tweet from a fan idk who they originally stanned but said they were considering becoming a hama lady after the stage and abso-fcking-lutely LOL uehara-san is incredible as samatoki, yuki-san can also inspire the masses with his looks and dancing and flow and tho stage rio didn’t have much presence in the play, him opening his heart to samatoki thru their battle and then teaming up with the both of them after fighting together is a great slight change to their origin story

*slams thru the wall like the kool aid man* AND THE NEW BAT HAIYUU ARE ACTUALLY MAGNIFICENT like backwards order since i have Things to say about nakanishi kuukou lol but nakatsuka-san’s hitoya is very cool!!!! his voice envokes almost the same amount of hype takeuchi-san’s voice does for me, like it’s deep and rough when he’s going and it’s sooooooo good. stage hitoya in the legends era cared for jyushi certainly, but i don’t think he flat out babied jyushi as much as he did in new encounter like my god lmao. it might be more indicative of the difference between actor’s personalities lol and i suppose hitoya did try to get kuukou to lighten up on jyushi when they first got started. also, there was this look he gave kuukou when kuukou started to goad him into being on his team that exuded cool charisma i think nakatsuka-san might be another actor too cool for hitoya LOL

i didn’t think it was possible for a jyushi to be even more baby than daigo-san’s but goddamn i think sakayori-san managed it LOL and again i do think some of that is bc of the source material they were adapting. i saw reports that new encounter jyushi was kinda spoiled by his team and i could see the undercurrents of that in the way kuukou would pat his back when getting up or the way jyushi would lean into hitoya and hitoya would actually wrap an arm around him lol. but i’m not complaining ITS CUTE. sakayori-san’s silhouette is so crazy like his build i think is exactly the way i envisioned jyushi’s so i kept vibrating out of my seat whenever he did a flourish and i got to see his figure lmao. i saw a report commenting that he needed to work on his vkei mode voice bc it was hard to differentiate and maybe???? idk i could tell the difference just fine, even if his voices don’t have as much of a gap as sakakihara-san or daigo-san’s

i want to throw up out of excitement thinking about nakanishi kuukou which is how i know he’s officially part of the kuukou brainrot LOL he’s kuukou!!!!!! he is so purely kuukou that everything i feel about kuukou is pushed onto him and i feel like i should apologise rn bc that comes with a heaping dose of objectification!!!!!! but it’s chill!!!!!!! *kicks down a wall* HES GOT MUSCLE ON HIS TINY FRAME!!!!!!!!!!!! like when he gets going going, that jacket starts slipping off and the camera caught just the right angle and lighting to show the contours on his arm muscles and i started yelling!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thick neck thick calves thick arms HES BUFF!!!!!!! BLESS NAKANISHI-SAN!!!!! and thankfully it’s not for the aesthetic like he’s athletic asf too with jump kicks backflips air somersaults and the like. he is probably the best person to have gotten the role after someone like hirono-san, whose kuukou has shaped the character so thoroughly that even in this new stage, direction choices were made to preserve the hype his kuukou envokes. if the writing on nakanishi kuukou stays the course, it’d honestly be a bonus to have that extra hype kuukou lol. and on that note

I DONT HATE STAGE KUUKOU WRITING LOL🙌🙌🙌

now it’s just an origin story so there’s plenty of time for shit to go awry but rn i’m feeling massively satisfied lol. there were some lines that were raising my hackles but frfr??? that’s just me being sensitive after all these years lol it’s fine. no nod to kuukou’s history with ichiro but tbh i don’t come to the stage for that lol but it made me think of the complaint that nagosaka’s get together story felt rushed compared to the other divisions. and they were lol but i’m not sure if that’s the stage’s fault or the source material. on bat’s side, bc they formed nagosaka alongside the og teams in the stage, ramuda’s development thru bat got axed in favour of jyushi falling for rei’s scam that brought dh together. it’s a choice that further isolates nagosaka so while within the stage narrative it makes sense (does jyushi’s character a disservice tho), it kinda annoys me thinking about the long term lol but it’s probably not going to matter in the long term either so ultimately it’s fine. i guess. maybe lol

one last nakanishi-san ramble and i’m done lol but that fanservice part really showed off his charm lol like when he rolled up on some fans arms spread wide and demanding their ears and attention!!!!!! 😫😫😫😫🙏🙏🙏🙏 and as he was heading back on stage, there was a lone bat fan along that aisle so he paused and leeeeeeeeaned back into that backtrack and flashed the bat hand sign at her and i couldn’t stop my unholy noises even if i tried he’s so cute omfg help he’s adorable like actually 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

Meeting the guys for the first time.

Johnny ‘Soap’ McTavish.

Johnny would be nervous, like, REALLY nervous. This would be the first time you would be meeting his team, his brothers, and he would be fidgety and bouncy, like this man could not sit still.

Like he had soft launched your guy's relationship, letting you appear little by little, in video calls when he was away, talk about you in social spaces, like he posted your hands on his socials when he eventually got a few questions, all of which he artfully dodged (I.E. running away)

So when he brought you into the room, he tensed a little, watching as his team turned their full attention to him and you. He wrapped an arm over your shoulder. Their eyes locked and narrowed onto you; he tensed further when John stood up, walked over, and held his hand out to you.

“So, You’re the one who has been hogging our boy?” John said, smiling.

Simon ‘Ghost’ Riley.

Now, Simon is a little less nervous. He literally NEVER TOLD ANYONE that you and he were together. Still, he was worried about how his found family would react to you. These were his brothers, and he trusted these men with his life, so he shouldn't worry about bringing you into the bar.

He quietly walks you into the bar, sliding you into what would be his seat. He removes his coat and puts it over the back of the chair, resting his forearms on it and leaning over you.

He watched each member to you, each expression going from a playful look to a surprise. He was surprised to find Simon in the seat but found you instead, like these men, who were shocked, to say the least.

Johnny would be the one to shake out of his stupor first and give you a smile. “Ahh, you’re the one he sneaks off to visit,” he said, nodding.

Alejandro Vargas.

Alejandro…is…… unique in the sense that he hardly hides you from the team. To him, things are often better when left to the imagination. He rarely shows pictures of you; if he does, it is a side profile or the back of you, all very obscure and very…magnetic. Still, he often talks with you on speakerphone in front of the team.

He would often send pictures of the boys to you, making it seem like each of them knew you before ever actually meeting you, so it wasn't much of a shock when Alejandro showed up with you on his arm, wearing one of his jackets.

Alejandro would press his lips to your ear, whispering who is who. While each of the boys eyed you, no one made a move. Still, when Simon gives you a nod, the rest of the team converges as if that is their signal, and suddenly, you are getting handshakes, waves, and hugs left, right, and centre.

“Ahh, yes, the invisible team member,” Gaz said, sipping his vodka.

Kyle ‘Gaz’ Garrick

Gaz? I don’t think he would care. It's not like he isn’t keeping your super top secret. He’s careful to hide you on social media, considering his job. But still, he takes all the cute photos with you instead of holding ice cream, holding hands, and taking pictures of your OOTD.

And he certainly didn’t keep you a secret on base, like this man would show you off when he could. This man has his memory filled to the MAX of your face, so it wasn’t much of a surprise when he brought you into the bar like he had been doing it for months, considering he didn't stop talking about you.

So when you smiled and introduced yourself, they gave you polite smiles and nods, as if you had been a part of their team or their lives for a while despite only being with Kyle for a few months.

Simon would be the first out of the lot to speak. “At least we can cut the light, fluffy shit and go straight to the trauma”, he said dryly, causing Kyle to pout and glare at him.

Captain John Price.

Finally, Price, our group's dad, has never talked about you on base. And we think Simon is bad? This man has no pictures anywhere, not in his office or on social media, like NOWHERE, so the boys were floored when he rocked up to the bar with your hand in hand.

Like it would be funny, he would smile and pull up a chair for you, casually leaning his arm over your chair. He would laugh at the boys' reaction and watch as their eyes flicked from John to you and back. He would smile and press sweet kisses to your cheeks, whispering sweet nothings.

As he sipped his whiskey before sliding you over the glass and letting you have a sip, each of the boys would just stare and blink before, one by one, they each shakily offered you their hand, giving you a chance to shake it, cause to these boys if their captain can keep you hidden from them? And not utter a singular word?

“Well, If this isn’t awkward, I don’t know what is”, Alejandro said, chugging some of his beer.

Fyolup: Eyes on me

When neteyam was told that his cute fyolup was coming with Norm to the metkayina village, he was over the moon. How he missed her so much! There was so much neteyam to tell her. What he learned, how his new life settled, but most of all, how much he has grown. And of course show off what he is capable of. Not to mention his new tattoos on his arm.

Already neteyam has things planned out for when she arrives. A full day of great activities, some including his siblings and some just for them two. Just thinking about it gets him riled up.

But also, Neteyam wonders what cute clothing fyolup would wear? Something suitable but also stylish to fit her taste. Of course, knowing her, fyolup would wear something for his eyes only and no one else.

“Neteyam!”

The sweet sound of the voice he longed to hear again called out to him. On the sandy beach, not too far from him stood was fyulop. She has grown a lot in the past few months. Wearing his favorite teal summer dress, and a bright smile on her cute face.

Unable to hold it in, neteyam makes a run for it, and so does fyulop. Meeting each other in the middle, the girl jumps into his arms as he holds her tightly as he spun her around. Loud laughter escaped their lips, wide smiles and great happiness. For fyulop, it felt so good to be back in her lover’s arms. The feel of his skin touching hers, hearing his voice again. She missed it so much.

Not putting her down, rather carrying her on his shoulder, they stare at each other's eyes and foreheads touching. “I missed you ma’sevin” neteyam whispers to her ear. Humming in agreement, she nods. “And I have missed you ma’yawne” she replies. Having not rush to go back home, neteyam takes his time to show her firstly the grand beach. Holding her tightly so that she doesn't fall, not like she will. Neteyam starts to talk, letting his mind wander on recent memories.

And fyulop is all more eager to listen.

“Neteyam, while I appreciate you looking at me for a long time, I am having self doubts now. Does it look good or not…?” Fyulop asks nervously. When she revealed her swimsuit, neteyam was in deep awestruck. He couldn't help but stare at her.

Her swimming outfit was a two piece. Strapless top with a matching bottom that was light blue with thin waving white lines. Giving the illusion of underwater lighting. To add to her personal touch, fyulop collected small shells from the beach and added it to her swimsuit. It is the little things that make things stand out more.

“I'm sorry love, it's just…oh eywa you look breathtaking” neteyam praises. Red hue colored fyulop’s cheeks. She certainly missed his praises.

Offering his hand, fyulop accepts. “Come on, there is so much I want to show you” neteyam tells her excitedly. Taking her from his family pod, he carefully leads her through the rather bouncy paths. Fyulop couldn't help but giggle as she bounces her way. It was like jumping on a trampoline!

“Here, this is an ilu, like the dire horses at home. The people here use like in similar ways” neteyam explains while gently holding his ilu. Fyulop strokes its head gently, liking the pleasing sounds. And the ilu makes a sound of happiness, nudging his head against hers.

“He likes you” neteyam comments.

“I'm glad, cause I like him too. Such an adorable cutie you are” fyulop says in her baby voice.

Not far from where they are, ao’nung, rotxo, and lo’ak were nearing the shore with their ilu’s. Ao’nung noticed the human girl, his eyes fixated on her.

“Hey lo’ak, who is that?” he asks while pointing at fyulop. Lo’ak sees where he pointing at, “oh, that is fyulop. She came with our uncle norm to visit. Don't worry, she is harmless' ' lo'ak answers. But Ao'nung still couldn't stop staring at her or her pretty smile.

“Is she single?”

“Hey fyulop, long time no see” Lo’ak welcomes the human girl with glee. Giving each other a warm hug, lo’ak joins in on whatever she and neteyam were doing. “So you are just going to ignore us lo’ak?” Rotxo teases behind the forest boy. Chuckling a bit, lo’ak shakes his head. “Right, sorry”.

Gently pushing ao’nung and rotxo in front of him, he points at who is who, “fyulop, this is ao’nung and rotxo. Guys, this is fyulop, she was born and raised here in pandora like spider” lo’ak introduces.

Fyulop giggled lightly, something that made ao’nung blush a tiny bit. Her giggles sounded so cute. He looks over and sees neteyam staring down at her with love and adoration. Crap, are they together? Hopefully not.

“Nice to meet you both. I hope you treated neteyam and his family well?” Fyulop asks. This made the boys chuckle nervously. “What? What happened? Did you guys fight each other?” Fyulop asks curiously.

“Well…you see..”

“Skxawngs. All of you. Especially you neteyam. It is much for lo’ak to start but for you to continue it?” Fyulop gently scolds the boys as they tell her about their rough start of getting along. She gently tugs neteyam’s ear while making a playful yet serious face. Neteyam couldn't help but chuckle, her fingers were to ticklish!

Ao’nung saw their interaction, feeling his tail thump against the sand rather harshly.

“Speaking of, how much has neteyam showed you of our home?” he asks, switching the subject. Fyulop took a moment to think, “so far the pods, the beach and the cute ilu’s” she replies. Ao’nung make a clicking sound, shaking his head. “Clearly he is skipping the more exciting stuff. Why not let me show you the better parts of our home?” he offers.

Fyulop gasps happily, “really?” she asks.

“Of course, what better guide than me?”

Fyulop looks up to neteyam, her eyes already asking the question. He sighs, “he is right, but still”.

Taking the chance, ao’nung gets up and gently grabs fyulop’s hand already leading her the way. As he and fyulop began to chat, neteyam, lo’ak and rotxo looked at ao’nung with a surprised expression on their faces.

“Oh no he didn't”

“Oh yes he did”

“And here is where we mostly trade things. Fish for beads, seaweed for grains, just about anything. There is something for everyone” Ao’nung shows fyulop the common areas that the na’vi spend their time. He showed her all the best places, ao’nung was pretty proud and a bit smug too. Getting cute reactions from fyulop was a treat. Even better to see neteyam fuming behind them.

Fyulop was enjoying sightseeing. The metkayina was so vastly different from the omatikaya! From how they look, to their ways, culture and style of clothing. Already fyulop had ideas of creating ocean inspired clothing. Maybe style it similar to how the metkayina do.

Neteyam on the other hand did not enjoy it. Nope. Not one bit.

If looks could kill, ao’nung would be deep in the belly of an akula.

Ao’nung had the sheer balls to not only touch fyulop but also hug her! Fyulop’s hugs are exclusive to neteyam only! Ok maybe his siblings too but mostly him! And too see that puny fishy skxawng touching his beloved made his anger rise deep within.

And poor fyulop, took caught up in the new experiences didn't notice what fishlips was clearing trying to do.

Well, as her boyfriend and protector, neteyam knows what slimy things that fishy na’vi prince can do.

If ao’nung knew just how easy it was to sway fyulop to trust him, he would have done it on the spot! Fyulop is just so cute and her clothing suits her figure. Actually, speaking of her clothing.

Ao’nung haven't really seen much of how humans dress. So to see this human girl dress in a certain way excites him. There is a lot to learn and see something new within fyulop and hopefully be closer to her.

However, as days pass, almost as if on purpose, ao’nung takes fyulop’s time most of the day. Taking her wherever he wants, personally teaches her many things neteyam wanted to show her, among other things. And would shove the poor forest boy to the side. Giving no room for neteyam to intervene.

And it was pissing neteyam off.

Having enough of it, he did the only thing he knew best.

“You know fyulop, you interest me a lot. It would be nice if you stayed longer. Spending time with you has been a lot of fun” Ao’nung tells fyulop. Together they walk across the sandy shores, the small waves of the sea barely touching their feet.

“It certainly has been a lot of fun. And while living here seems like a good idea, I worry for neteyam. He already has enough stuff to worry about”

Ao’nung makes an annoyed sigh. “I doubt that. But either way, at least think it over. We could have a lot more fun. Together”. He holds fyulop’s hands into his larger ones. Making eye contact and hopefully what he is trying to do works.

Only it didn't.

Fyulop was gently yanked back by an angry neteyam.

“I think you had enough time with her,” Neteyam says. Trying his best not to hiss at ao’nung. But the reef prince scoffs a bit smugly. “And who are you to choose for her? She can do what she wants”.

“You’re absolutely right ao’nung” Fyulop agrees.

The boy smirks at neteyam who only glares harder.

“That means I can do this”

With a gentle yet quick yank from his necklace, neteyam was yanked down and was given the most passionate kiss ever.

Fyulop was kissing him as if to prove something. And boy did neteyam enjoyed it. With zero hesitation, neteyam kisses back, laughing on the inside. If he were to have a fourth finger right now, he would be flipping it in ao’nungs face.

“And, what I want to do is spend my time with my sweet neteyam. Thank you ao’nung for showing me, but I think neteyam can take it from here” fyulop says with a not so innocent smile.

Ao’nung was shocked, flabbergasted, speechless, and everything else. Damn it.

“You heard her skxawng” Neteyam says with a victorious smirk on his face. Clicking his tongue, ao’nung leaves in defeat.

With a happy cheer, neteyam picks up his love and spins her around.

“You were so jealous~” the girl teases as she boops his nose. But neteyam caught her finger, gently nibbling it. “And you watched me. Didn't do anything to ease my heart” neteyam accuses. This made fyulop stroke his ears as she leans closer and asks in a cooing manner, “Than what can I do to ease your jealous heart?”

He grins and replies “you know what”

Ough I already miss them so bad. I think I crossed into acceptance for a sec and now we're back into the feeling stage of the greiving process.

I miss Stede's facial expressions and his bouncy hair and his bitchy little hand gestures. I'm sad he'll never get his cunty little heels back. I miss his kindness and his love and the way he supports and uplifts the people around him even though he's a huge bitch sometimes. I wanted to see more of his calm commitment to starting a life together with Ed. I wanted to see him get to be happy and be himself and be loud and petty and unapologetically himself with his boyfriend by his side.

I miss Ed's sweet face and his big wet princess eyes. I miss the way he purses his lips when he's mad and how he wiggles his shoulders when he's happy and how sometimes he does a cute little hip tilt or a foot pop. I wanted to see him get to really, truly let his guard down for the first time in his life and stop living in crisis mode and get to enjoy a life full of fun and play and so so much love. I wanted to see him heal and learn to look at himself with compassion. I wanted to see Stede scritch his fingers through Ed's beard and I wanted Ed to lean into it practically purring and they'd both be so happy.

I wanted more kisses and hugs and I wanted to see them get married like they deserve. I want to see them both know they're marrying for love and they deserve the beautiful life they have.

We'll always have them. They're not going anywhere. They're happy and safe and starting their life together, and they'll be there forever. But I wanted more of them.

he's short and fat with red eyes and lots of freckles. his hair is long and black, often uneven and choppy in length, because he just cuts tangles out instead of untangling them ❤

he's a sweet boy, earnest boy, awkward boy; he doesn't have many friends at the start of the story due to his paranoia, psychosis, and social anxiety, but by the end of it has a whole bunch of good friends AND a kitty he adores named Grub who purrs like a faulty tractor

in this story vampirism is a sentient entity and all connected via a hivemind known as "the Garble".... it lives in the vampires' blood and can manipulate their thoughts as well as give them heightened strength and speed, claws and fangs, and night vision when they need it. it can be useful, but mostly it's a bully and an inconvenience

at the centre of the Garble hivemind lives the very first vampire, an undead rotting corpse and the god of vampires, and a few of their close friends and confidants. all life force collected by regular vampires flows to them at the centre and grants them immortality and power. it's a sweet deal for the folks at the centre, and a terrible deal for ordinary vampires like Nat who rarely reap any real benefits from their condition, but are threatened and manipulated into participating in this system regardless

Nat's story sees him struggling to solve the mystery of how and why he was turned and trying to balance his kind, caring nature with his new violent condition... and eventually leads him to, "hey, I think I'm going to hunt down and eat the rest of vampire god"

good for him!

huge drama queen (will play up being sad and pathetic to get what he wants)

vampires are hardwired to seek warmth and coziness so Nat is always down to snuggle 24/7

bouncy cheery overexcited lad who will grin for weeks if you say something nice to him

speaking of eating people, primarily preys on rich pricks and abusive bosses

is too awkward to tell his neighbours he bought them a cute knitted blanket he thought they might like for their corgi because what if that's a weird thing to do. this has been going on for three weeks

Thank you for giving me the excuse to go finally listen to them.

Rivals: Hmm, this is a really interesting comparison! I wouldn't have immediately classified Doppo as a "act first, think later" character, but he definitely has those moments. The music is bouncy but not immediately doing it for me. I think it's one of those songs I'll grow to like quickly, though.

White and Black: (not to be confused with Doppo's Black or White, naturally) SHADY BOYS, LET'S GOOOOOO! I love this match-up. I think they are the kind of people to have a meet-cute in which they committed identity fraud and/or credit card fraud on one another. Anyway, I love the style here. Team Rocket-ass mfers. I agree with the top YT comment at the time of writing, which is, "This is the most fanfic-y thing Hypmic has ever officially released, and I am here for it." I also love that neither of them makes one single effort to hide their scumminess. Truly a duo for the ages.

Thanks for Having Us! Now Look Alive! Osaka Big Up: (or whatever people are calling the Sasara/Roshou one) I adore the fact that Sasara introduces them as a three-person group ft. Rei, but Rei just happens to be doing something else (stealing Juuto's identity, most like) and thus it's a two-person act today. Sasara and Roshou's comedy/speaking dynamic is much more relaxed and natural feeling than it was in their first appearance in Ah, Osaka Dreamin' Night, which is a nice reflection of the current state of their friendship status. Music is chill. I'd like to hear more of it before forming more opinions. Their singing voices sound good with this older, slower style of song.

The Demons' Flowers: I appreciate how the MV style departs from usual Hypmic MV to mimic the MVs for this kind of music. Very JRPG-esque. The lyrics strike me as a little generic for music projects, which is atypical for Hypmic, but it's definitely appropriate for Juushi.

Get busy: I really like this match-up; their high energy works together well here, as does their commitment to working together with the homies to kick absolute ass. I'm not sure KR fully understands the connotation of the English title they've chosen; they're probably going for more of a "Take it easy...but take it!" vibe.

Viva la liberty: While the music itself isn't doing much for me yet, I like this take on how both Saburou and Ramuda have grown throughout the story while still acting in very similar ways to their act 1 selves. An unusual match-up, but I can dig it.

What Lies Beyond the Dreaming: Wow, I really like this. Like Scenario Liar, it almost feels confessional in the sense of how it creates a closed sense of solidarity with the listener (you're the only one I can trust, let me tell you my story for your ears only, etc.). In that case, it's being spoken to his brother, I suppose? Would love to hear the full song.

Closer: I like Hitoya's singing a lot in this one. The darker lyrics and tone suit them both quite well, and I wonder if this points to Jakurai and Hitoya finally talking things out, including Jakurai's experiences in the war, in act 3. Or perhaps that's simply wishful thinking.

My Life: Positivity: Aside from the obvious enjoyment of Hifumi wrangling the rest of the cast into being his enthusiastic background singers, I really like how this song is both bright and bubbly at surface level but says a lot of deeper things about Hifumi's character, like how he's willing to open himself up to being hurt again so long as he has the protection of his friends and loved ones. I don't think it's the kind of thing I'd listen to, but I am looking forward to seeing the full thing.

Move Your Body Til You Die!: Roger that, sir. o7 Very glad to see that Riou's solos are as silly as ever. I think this is my favorite so far in terms of music. It is most definitely my favorite in terms of music videos.

Will-o'-the-Wisp: I really, really, REALLY like the lyrics and how much growth they show for Samatoki. It's nice how you can tell just musically how much he's healed and mellowed out since the start of the series.

HIPHOPPIA: This is my actual favorite musically, and while I understand and appreciate the thematic point of having so many styles of music on this album, I'm personally a bit sad there isn't more of the classic hip-hop sound. Lot of interesting imagery in the lyrics.

Conclusion: Move Your Body Til You Die! is a work of art.

Sanemi is OBSESSED with your hair, it was the first thing he noticed about your fr. so ofc when yall got together he wanted to know everything, what products you use to keep your hair so bouncy? How does it smell so good? How is it so soft? Will you marry him? Boyyyyyyy. Anyways he didn't want to overwhelm you with these questions so he didn't say anything but after he witness firsthand how much time and effort that you put into washday and how tired you were cleaning up all your brushes and combs and all the hair that shedding during the detangling process. He couldn't stand to see how worn out you were after so he asked to help. Now every Wednesday (unless he is on a mission then he tells you to wait..) it's wash day. And he helps you with washing your hair, he takes the showerhead from you to make sure all parts of your hair is drenched especially if you have low porosity hair. He always makes sure to get a nice lather on your hair by getting shampoo in real nice. Scalp massagesssss>>>>>>>>. At first he was fucking terrible at detangle, ripping thru your fucking hair like it some grass or sum, but you nip that shit i the bud so quick cayse unt unt hunny what the fuck was that. He was pouting outside the door when you put him out and did the detangling process by yourself. He got better, not the best but he was trying. He be trying to do his lil thing with the blow dryer but they dont work out like you thought they would, (like negro aint you a WIND hashira.. righttt). He has a whole pinterest playlist on hairstyles for you to try but he is not about to tell you to your face, so he gotta be slick about suggesting hairstyles. Will walk around with his hand holding your ponytail cause you finally got it to the point where its not lopsided, but your last scrunchie popped and you had nomo around so ofc you called your man like duh. You forced him to watch videos about how to do twists and braids so that he could help you out. Putting that man to work as you should, but he is in love so it don’t even matterr. Like he loves helping you with your curls, it's a different type of intimacy that he didn't get to experience in his youth so ofc he is going to cherishh this time that he gets with you. OMGGGGG IMAGINE HOW HE IS WITH YALL KIDSSSSSS YALLLLLLLLLL, OMGGGGG imagine having the iconicccc container full of barrettes, ribbons, bows, headband etc. Mans is going all outttt on yall lil girl hair making sure she always wins the best hair category fytbb. Now he might have knocked bbygirl in the head with a few balls on accident but he always made it up with kisses and ice cream. Always make sure to brush and comb your daughter's hair when she isn't gonna be tender headed by her mammy. He would have him on his lap showing her pictures of the styles he was going to do just going on and on and on and onnnn like okay we get it you happy wrap it up na. His son has more of his hair texture but slightly more curly and a tadddd bit thicker than his and he aint know wtf to do. He took his ass right back to youtube and figured it out cause he wasnt about to let his son walk around looking any kinda way. He always makes sure his hair is moisturized but not overly so, making sure the ends do not split yawp yawpp. Need a him in my life fr. yall he was sooo sad when his son go his first haircut. Ty all for the makeover suggestions!! I had a lot of fun making my own versions of the townies, which I have never done before.

As you can see their appearance is pretty faithful to their original. I consider my style to be a more realistic and enhanced version of the EA style. While it's not super obvious (aside from Baby Ariel), I did tweak their facial features and bodies a bit since frankly... EA can make their sims look pretty wacky.

Anyway, I hope you like them!! Full-body screenies and explanations for each townie are below the cut.

Nancy Landgraab (suggested by @plumbobpaparazzi)

I never really liked Nancy's OG look. I feel like she doesn't look classy enough for her status as head of the Landgraab family/company, so my goal for her was to really make her live up her to status. Her hairstyle pays homage to her sims 3 incarnation and frankly, I think she looks better with her hair up than down.

As for her facial features, her eyebrows her tweaked to be less janky-looking but still looking like she could fire you any time. They were also darkened because you cannot for the life of me see them in her OG look. Her nose, lips, and chest were also tweaked to look extra perfect/plump to really emphasize that she's had some procedures done 🤭 I also redid her makeup.

Maaike Haas (suggested by @micrathene-w)

Maaike is seriously an underrated sim and I wish they did her better. I started off by tweaking her facial features because they looked really janky (esp her eyes, I gave her a new preset entirely), so I softened them up and now she looks so much better (while retaining her overall OG look) I also widened her waist because it looked too narrow for her body shape.

I think EA wanted to go for an academia look for her, but the problem with that back when Get Together released was that there really wasn't a lot of academia-esque clothes. The blazer she wears made her look older and the skirt she had was frankly a little too long, so my goal with Maaike was to really give her that cute academia look. I think she turned out amazing and I like her a lot more because of it! I hope you think so too 💖

Baby Ariel (suggested by @akitasimblr)

My biggest problem with Baby Ariel is that the sim looks nothing like her, so she got the appearance biggest tweaks out of everyone. I did a total revamp for her so that Baby Ariel could look more like her real life self. Besides that, I updated her look so she could look more like her present self.

Catarina Lynx (suggested by @chaoticpixls)

I think my goal for our favorite cat-lover here was to make her less... tacky? I still wanted her to be recognizably herself; bouncy and obviously a cat-lover, but cuter and more put-together, if that makes any sense. I also wanted her to appear a bit younger.

I think the biggest sin EA did with the cats/dogs pack is not include a cat/dog beanie. This girl totally rocks it and although that brimmed cap she wore was cute, I think she looks a lot better with a hat that has makeshift cat ears (and not that hair that has the cat headband).

I also made her lipstick a lighter, because her OG shade is just way too dark for her. Sorry.

Knox Greenburg (suggested by @mustanoita)

Ok, my biggest question about how EA did Knox was why he looks so trashy for someone who is big about climate change, going green, recycling, etc. So my goal for Knox was to make him look less trashy and more outdoorsy. I also wanted to make him look younger because he just... looks really old lol. So I gave him a new eye preset, made his cheeks fuller, and gave him a slightly different hair color. I also gave him a new hairstyle that's similar to his OG to really give him that handsome flair because... honestly, EA did him dirty.

Penny Pizzazz (suggested by @ashubii)

Penny's OG look is alright by itself, but I don't think it works that well for Penny since she's meant to be a fashionista who knows what's trending. Also her earrings and shoes did not match with that dress at all. So I gave her a cute trendy outfit that still screams "classy." I also changed her hair because I never liked it and I HC her hair texture to be wavy/curly and not straight so I went with a curlier and more voluminous hairstyle with braids because Penny absolutely slays with braids.

Besties, you seem to be about fic recs lately, so… Do you have a list of fics you would love to see as movies/tv series?

Best fic request ever!

I don’t want to sound repetitive but I can’t not mention all the fics in my bookmarks (x) and actually the most famous ones. We had a teaser of TTS with adore you lol but it would make such a pretty movie. Escapade could be the best gay romcom of this century with the right director and screenwriter. Young&beautiful of course… Bloodsport is the perfect tv series Twitter would support like crazy (more movie-able than unbelievers in my head). Buuuut *clears her throat* here’s my list, based on absolutely zero competence to analyse critically any screen adaptation of books and fics, but these fics just have something I would love to be brought to life, little details and/or descriptions that just would work for me.

Fic I would love as movies

ferricadooza! by suspendrs: this is already a cult for me. Set in 1963, homosexuality is illegal in the UK, Louis owns a gay bar, and Harry’s an underground boxing champion with an unfortunate enemy.

Come as you are by stylinsoncity: this story was meant as a director cut or something. The setting, the dialogues, the characters are so good and very original (especially Louis!). I think it would make a great movie (and there’s a sequel too, so you’ll have the fan service too lol).

Love is a rebellious bird by 100percentsassy, gloria_andrews: They are Orchestra prodigies, who start with the wrong foot. Lots of angst and lots of music talk.

Love after the end of the world by mercurial-madhouse ( @mercurial-madhouse ): a dystopian AU must be a movie. This one is the best I’ve read in fic form yet!

No pressure, no diamonds by karamelised: is it even my fic rec post if i don’t mention this fic? Look, it’s just pure enterteinment at some point. Thieves, heigh tech heist, ex to lovers drama. I love it.

You and all of heaven’s of other wonders by devilinmybrain ( @thedevilinmybrain ): Harry is an angel. Like a real angel sent from heaven to protect Louis. And Harry loves humans... maybe a bit too much. Heaven can’t have that.

Don’t want shelter by kingsofeverything ( @kingsofeverything ): Louis and Harry were childhood friends, but then something happens and they stopped talking. When Hurricane Nicole threatens the coast, they end up stuck together in their families' old vacation home that they co-own. During the storm, and in the months after, they’re both forced to reevaluate their history and what they mean to each other.

Cocaine for breakfast by guccikings: Louis has drug addiction, sent away from his beloved party-scene to recover. There, he discovers that small towns have just as much access to drugs as London did, plus something even better that he just can't get enough of. That something is a boy with green eyes and bouncy curls named Harry Styles. this gave me skins vibe, a bit of beautiful boy now that I think about it.

Like cranberries on a winter evening by 4ureyesonly28: no cause this would make such a perfect Christmas movie 🎄

On the edge by zanni_scaramouche: Louis is a figure skater and Harry is a Hockey player, they met at the Olympics. You’ll fall in love with them, the dynamics between them are just so cute and well described. Very unique setting too

Strangers Stars by shaylea: the safari fic. It’s probably the slowest slow burn I’ve ever read lmao but I think it would work as a movie. There are a lot of wild activities happening and obviously as a road trip the scenes would be full of incredible landscapes. Academy award for the photography incoming!

Drink and the devil had done the rest by fel:95: this is an Italian fic translated in English. Gay pirates cinematic universe? I’m ALL in.

Soft hands, fast feet, can’t lose by dolce_piccante: I think the world deserve a story where a quaterback falls in love with the boy from the ballet club.

Wild and unruly by 100percentsassy, gloria_andrews: this fic makes my heart melt. The cowboy fic featuring Louis in the vest of paralegal assigned to pressure him into selling his land and pregnant cows (i love cows so much).

Walk that mile by purpledaisy: the classic road trip. God, they’re both insufferable, yet so relatable

Victorian boy by audreyhheart: I read this long time ago, but I think it would work as movie. As the title suggests, it’s an historical book. Beautiful dresses, galateo, horses and the prettiest landscapes. Louis is an aristocrat who acts like a dandy. Love him

Into the blue by zarah5: the scuba diving fic! this would be funnnn

Someone to fly home to by kingsofeverything: This authore works are sublime, so literally anything would do. Silver fox Louis!!!!! Ex to lovers!!!! but also angsty and romanticly mature.

mine would be you by crinckled-eyed-boo ( @crinkle-eyed-boo ): this is a tough one, tons of angst, jealousy that made my stomach churns. The drama of it all would make a good movie 100%

Anti-Hero x GN! Reader

(a/n: he's the one from Unnatural Disasters on Roblox, don't judge me. Also I imagine him as Clark Kent, it's the vibes! I named him Orion since he doesn’t really have a name besides Anti-Hero. Sam, I blame you for this. :P)

Word Count: 844 Rating: Fluff, a little sadness, but happy ending!!!!

You were looking at your reflection in the mirror with a pout. Why? Because you had spotted three white hairs on your head. You continue to gawk at it, internally contemplating whether or not you should pluck them out… But they were gonna come back anyway, ugh! Your eyes moved down a little to see two more gray hairs, how did you even miss those? You combed your fingers through your hair, were you going to have to color them now?

While you were in the middle of a mid-life crisis, you failed to spot your husband and son that had just entered the room. Orion carried the bouncy baby boy in his arms, he whistled as he looked at you from behind, “Well, if it isn’t my beautiful partner.” Orion had a wolfish smirk plastered on his face as he admired your figure, your son clapped his chubby hands with a small smile as he also spotted you. “Mama/Dada!” His little voice broke you out of your trance, you jumped a little at their sudden appearance.

“Jeez! You two need to stop doing that.” You yelped, placing a hand over your chest to steady your racing heart. Orion chuckles lightly and walks towards you, he grabs your waist and pulls you into his side. He glances down at you with his violet eyes met yours, “What’s going on in that pretty head of yours?” His voice was soft and caring, you could see even through the haze of ‘attraction’ in his eyes, there was worry laced in the pools of violet you loved.

“You’re gonna think it’s stupid… I’ve-” you sighed exasperatedly, “I’ve got gray hairs.” He could hear the defeat in your voice, he hadn’t seen you this sad since you two found out you were about to have a kid. The overwhelming sadness that could crush your spirit and soul with one fell swoop, Orion and your son’s face hardened similarly as they observed your crestfallen look.

Their brows furrowed and their lips pursed in a thoughtful manner, “Mama/Dada.” Your son says with a low tone, his arms stretched out for you to carry him. You complied gladly, “Oh my sweet James, such a lovely little boy you are.” You peppered his cheeks with kisses, he giggled sweetly. That was yours and Orion’s favorite sound, James’s adorable little chortles and chirps of joy. Orion chuckles. He raises his hand and cups the side of your face with a hand, his eyes were full of love and care. "You're cute, you know that?"

"Orion," You gave him an unamused look, he chuckles yet again, his thumb rubbing against the three hairs. His purple eyes were lighter, he looked like he was trapped in a trance, "I'm sorry... It's just... We're doing it. We're getting older together." He chuckles for the nth time, his fangs poking out as he admired your features with a wide grin. Orion leaned forward to place a kiss on your pouty lips, "It makes me happy, doesn't it make you happy?"

"It does, Orion. Thanks for putting it in a better perspective." You pull him in for another kiss, small hands grabbed at you as you do so. You chuckled into this kiss, "Looks like someone else wanted some loving." James stares up at you with his deep purple eyes, he gives you a toothy smile and attacks your face with kisses. Well, more cuteness aggression from a toddler.

"Hey! James, don't do that. Gentle. Gentle. Remember?" Orion scolds James softly, prying the chubby hands grasping at your face firmly. The father and son share an intense look, lavender fighting with violet. James is the first to admit defeat and kisses your cheek softly, Orion smiles at the gesture. "Attaboy, we have to show love. I get it, your mom/dad is very pretty, but last time you did that. You gave them quite the wound."

His words started to become like white noise to you, you started to feel lighter again, the world was less dimmer than it was a few hours ago. Orion really knew what to say in situations, you were lucky to have even caught his attention. Moments like this reminded you why you loved him, not to mention, makes you fall even harder than you already were. God, what did you even do to deserve this life?

Little James was signing and speaking to his father, as if he was arguing back. Orion tuts playfully, "That's it, no more mom/dad time for you. You and I are gonna have a strict talk while mom/dad watches a movie. I'll catch up later, need to tussle with this naughty boy." Little James gave him a glare for even suggesting such an idea.

You laughed loudly, he was just too cute. James gives you another toothy grin, he lets out a deep bellied laugh. Orion joins in on the joviality, "But seriously, have some me time, my love. I'll be back." The two moved to the kitchen, you knew they had ulterior motives.

Life couldn't be better.

Here's Sophia chilling on the streets during a nighttime mission stakeout, completely unamused with the situation. She's been in a few scuffles along the way, but she doesn't let that stop her. No rest for a Watch agent—only Band-Aid.

Janus in all his glory, living his best life. Just don't mind the knife, that's there for flavor. Nothing sketchy going on with this vigilante here, no sir.

Also, Janus condones masking up in times of sickness and of crime.

Harley lookin' hella cute (and I can finally show off her freckles)! I'd never considered this kind of look for her before now, but while experimenting with the hairstyles I fell in love with these adorable space buns!! Making note of this for her character design down the road (which may or may not include a haircut in her future)!

Also, I imagine she and Sophia spent a lot of time at the coast as children and that she loved to collect seaside trinkets—hence the message in the bottle. And or course, Jade made the flower crown for her 💜

While I tend to picture Jade with the hairstyle on the left—big, bouncy, and full of personality—I couldn't resist letting her treat herself to some braids every now and then, like the ones on her right! She also got into a pack of stickers for her golden hour photo shoot!

Finally, here's Max! Still a little beat up from his altercation with the vigilantes, but now he gets to recover by relaxing with his cat, Hudson! He wasn't expecting to have his picture taken right now, but like the sweet boy he is, he played along by awkwardly throwing up the first pose he could think of.

My older Mixels stuff still gets some likes, but actually I've been going through and redoing all my character renders and making modifications to colors and builds. Basically so my characters can be built in real life. I'm making instructions too.

Why not start with my custom...

Series 10

Since I'm pretending to carry on from where the canon series left off. The only weird thing though... Is that there's one character in series 10 I didn't actually make. A small Lego creator cat poly bag. I just treat them like a Mixel, because when I saw it on the shelf it reminded me of my love for the Mixels series and kicked off the creative storm that would lead to hundreds of Custom characters lol.

The Fluffeez

No one knows where this tribe of animal-like Mixels came from. But they started popping up in the central park of Mixopolis. They're so cute and fluffy though, so no one really questioned it.

Meowzer: (the original cat poly bag) is the street smart leader. While not malicious,he knows how to use his looks and charms to get what he and his tribe need. He also often has to keep his tribe mates out of trouble, which leaves him tired enough for multiple cat naps.

Ruffle: Ruffle is the rough and tumble member of the tribe and the most playful. He seems to be full of boundless energy and is often begging others to play fetch or chase. He sometimes ends up running right into trouble by mistake, which Meowzer has to bail him out of.

Hoppz: Hoppz is shy and skittish. They're easily startled by sudden noises and big looking threats... But if you offer a carrot and are quiet and peaceful, then Hoppz will end up being your best friend.

The Mixies Cousins

Because the Mixies were my favorite tribe from series 7, I figured I'd make a expansion to them. While not a requirement, I tried sticking to the naming scheme of the original tribe.

Tunzy: Tunzy is a cheerful Mixel known to play catchy and bouncy tunes on his piano teeth that captivate others to the point they can't help but dance. This includes Tunzy himself... He's just a bit of a clumsy dancer.

Drumsy: if you ever need a strong beat to march to, then Drumsy is just the Mixel to call. He's always marching around and drumming a steady rhythm. Think you can keep in time to his beat?

Strumzy: Strumzy isn't really one to use his words. This Mite Mixel may not speak, but he can still pluck at your heart strings with his music. He's surprisingly quite expressive when he starts playing music.

The Brutherwoodz

The Brutherwoodz are a mysterious forest dwelling tribe who have just now realized a big city has been built nearby. Thankfully,their neck of the woods has been marked as a nature preservation.

Treelo: the oldest and wisest of the Brutherwoodz, and thus the leader. Though he is also a little lazy. The only reason he started growing apples on his branches was so he wouldn't have to move as often to get food.

Sproutz: this forest Mixel is a bit of a gremlin, gnawing on rocks and rooting for mushrooms in his free time, and really just getting messy the rest of the time. The only thing that really scares him is scissors or other sharp objects.

Brambell: Brambell is a cheeky prankster who likes to climb on trees... Before jumping down to spook unsuspecting people passing by. He finds the reactions priceless, but sometimes his vine fingers get really tangled and that can be pretty annoying.

Bonus: the Nixels get their own render! From left to right, these Nixels come with Ruffle, Tunzy, and Sproutz respectively.

Due to the ten image limit, the Maxes will get their own post... Along with the link to the instructions.

It's not the first time I've read about the author's disappointment about Az/El ship when she specifically stated that Lucien was supposed to be Nesta's mate until ELAIN came in the picture and in the interviews she keeps writing them as MATES.

We have already the dark lord and the heroine(Feysand)so there's no need for a second couple with that dynamic; it would be boring repetitive and from your analysis,Az and El don't fit at all and look I LOVE moon/sun couple but they just don't fit; there's nothing.

Infuation?Yes.

Physical attraction?Absolutely

But Love?I don't think so.

Also some fans are blind because they believe Rhys doesn't want Az's happiness(from the bonus chapter)what if in Az and El's dynamic he sees his parents?

His father was cold, vicious and cruel, his mother soft and kind(familar eh?)they were mates but they didn't work as a couple.

Az is shown to be cruel and impulsive(HE TORTURES PEOPLE AND ALMOST KILLS ERIS)El doesn't like violence at all and it's stated SHE DOESN'T FIT AT ALL in NC.

You're right! Feyre and Rhys are light and dark in terms of Rhys having the power of Night and Feyre having Helion's Day powers but, is Feyre optimistic? Is she bouncy and happy and full of life? Feyre is a bit jaded. She's willing to do whatever needs done to save the people she loves even if innocent bystanders are hurt in the process (i.e. what she did to the Spring Court). She's also constantly worried about taking care of everyone and enjoys revenge. So when people say Rhys and Feyre are light and dark, I don't think it's that deep since the only light and dark things about them are their powers at times. Because I don't really think Feyre is all that light based on her personality. And Az is even darker than Rhys or Feyre. While Elain has not shown any bit of real darkness to her. She stabbed the King to save her sister but there's nothing indicating she took joy from it. We're actually told the opposite, how she gave TT back to Az and "didn't look back", how the cruelty of the Hewn City troubles her. Elain has been forced to step into the darkness that the members of the IC regularly step into and she's not embraced it the way Nesta or Feyre have. Do people honestly believe a character like Elain who prefers to have nothing to do with weapons and violence is well suited for a character who enjoys torturing people on a regular basis? Over her own Mate who has very similar ideas on hurting others and wanting revenge (which is to say they don't prefer it at all?). SJM doesn't do the complete opposites attract trope so people trying to force E/riel is refusing to acknowledge the writing style of this author. And you're so right, Rhys didn't have a problem with E/riel because he doesn't think Az deserves to be happy. He has a problem with E/riel because as his best friend and brother, he knows Az is still in love with Mor and he knows Az is just jealous of not getting a bond and he knows Az is really just using Elain to mask the real issues he needs to deal with. And....Rhys does not want his sister in law being used like that. People get so fixated on the politics of it but even if Lucien weren't an ally, even if Lucien weren't involved at all, I am convinced Rhys STILL would have a problem with Az about to hook up with Elain while knowing he wasn't over Mor. Their identity and try desperately to cope with it, to fit in the NC but they can't pretend to be fine." Because it's so true. There are no two characters better suited to understand one another and what they've both lost beside Elain and Lucien. Az's love was not forced away from him by someone else (Mor just never had feelings for him). Az has not known what it's like to not belong and to be chased out of his own Court (he was 11 when he found Rhys and Cassian and they have been his brothers in the NC for centuries after). Lucien was forced out of Autumn and Elain was forced out of the Human Lands. Az does not know what it's like to try and build a life in a place where you don't completely fit in (Lucien does not fully fit in with the Humans and Elain does not fully fit in at the NC). I want to read about two characters like that finding a life together over Elain having to accept all the things about Az that usually make her uncomfortable and living in a place that represents everything that she prefers not to be around.

His entire past would be too long to get into, but the spark notes is after waking up with no memories, hoped on ship, died, came back, went a little insane and killed a bunch of people, lost the closest thing he had to family, went a little more insane, and is now trying to figure out how he got his abilities and maybe screw over the deities of Esharial along his bloody and wine filled path of debauchery (current sanity: questionable)

He can’t lie, can hear others lies and their emotions, and though you can kill him, really it’s only a waste of time and energy as he’ll come back and likely kill you for it

Note: today finally smth shorter haha wasn't really inspired today, but I'm stubborn and I decided I'm gonna write all 31 fictober prompts even if they end up not making any sense whatsoever lmao

“What are you doing out there?” Eddie asks, standing in the door that leads to the yard, where Buck is what looks like inspecting the bouncy castle.

“Is this safe?” he asks, currently checking if it’s secured properly. He’s in full protective-dad mode, and Eddie just finds it so cute.

“I’m pretty sure it is.” he says, watching Buck with amusement. “You’re the one who said it’s okay.”

“Well, Chris wanted a bouncy castle for his birthday, how was I supposed to say no?”

“So you’re regretting it already, huh? The party hasn’t even started. The kids will love it.” he rolls his eyes, moving from the door and walking up to Buck.

“What if someone gets hurt, though? I’ve read that 40% of kids’ injuries-”

“Buck.” Eddie interrupts before Buck goes on a rant. He’s been researching this for days, as he does with every subject that interests him at the moment. Normally Eddie loves listening to whatever he has to say, but they’re about to have guests soon. He puts one of his hands on Buck’s cheek, making him look into his eyes. “I’m sure that as long as you keep watch, everyone will be fine. And I’m sure you’ll supervise, yeah?” he smiles knowingly.

“Well, obviously, I need to keep everyone safe and alive.” Buck grins back, wrapping his arms around Eddie’s waist. Eddie leans in to peck him on the lips quickly. That’s his guy, always vigilant – when it comes to others, at least, not always himself.

“When did it happen that you became the overprotective parent?” Eddie teases, tilting his head. “You were always the cool one.” Eddie’s been thinking of Buck as Chris’ parent, subconsciously since before they even got together. When they did, and he started saying it out loud, at first Buck always got really stunned and flustered, but now he loves it more than anything.

“Oh, babe.” Buck sighs mock-condescendingly. “You don’t think you’re the cool one now, do you? That’s so sad.” he shakes his head, and a laugh escapes him.

“Shut up.” Eddie laughs as well, playfully slapping his shoulder. “People are gonna start coming over soon. Come help me bring all the snacks out.”

“Yeah, okay.” he glances back at the inflatable. “But you’re sure-?”

“Oh my God.” Eddie laughs, pulling away, grabbing Buck’s hand, and dragging him back inside to finish preparing for their kid’s 11th birthday party. “It’s gonna be fun. Relax.”

“Okay, okay, whatever.” Buck murmurs, following Eddie.

The bouncy castle ends up being the main attraction and all the kids love it, most of all the birthday boy, and Buck doesn’t step away from it for the whole party. It’s a bit much, but also it’s just sweet, and Eddie loves seeing Buck being so… Buck – so gentle, caring, and protective. This is the man Eddie is head over heels for. He watches with a smile on his face as Buck takes care of and plays with the kids, and how happy his son is. The love of his life and his kid are just having the time of their lives, and Eddie doesn’t need anything more.

Anyways here are my rottmnt pokemon team headcanons bc i love making these so much

Leo: Torterra, Riolu, Ninjask, Zangoose, Gibble, Kedabra

Donnie: Blastoise, Rotom, Porygon, Beldum, Golek, Cacturne

Raph: Drednaw, Clefairy, Machoke, Snorlax, Makuhita, Ludicolo

Mikey: Torkal, Smeargle, Bellossom, Baltoy, Cranidos

April: Crustle, Zorua, Solosis, Fletchinder, Skitty, Noivern

Casey: Tirtouga, Mimikyu, Porygon-Z, Trubbish, Amaura, Applin

My reasonings on why for each are below the cut :):

Leo:

Torterr:- big and strong but so cute and full of love and life. He kinda just. Holds the fam together. his first pokemon (all the turtle pokemon are the brothers starters)

Riolu: Blue pokemon and physical fighting with some Magic, and i just love riolu and i feel like it compliments Leader Leo very well (he evolved when leo steps up and accepts his role as leader. leader of what? idk i havent thought that far into this au)

Ninjask: greatest ninja ever needs a ninja pokemon :)

Zangoose: his eye. His eye marking. Is like leo’s. Im a simple man i see red eye mark i go ‘oh thats leo’

Gible: blue and chompy. I like the idea of leo being Tormented by this lil chompy guy and then he evolves into this real powerful pokemon. And then he still torments him for him

Kedabra: teleports. leo teleports.

Donnie:

Blasoise: gun turtle. Idk what else to say (i was gonna give him torterra bc ‘but my real passion is biology’ but. Gun turtle.) I think he helps leo take care of his torterra tho

Rotom: this feels a lil self-explanatory lol. but with his rotom, he builds more than the “standard’ rotom body options for him, including one of those toy punching robots (fighting), a jetpack form (flying, but cooler than the fan form), a robot dragon (dragon), a fertilizer spreader thing (poison), and of course his favorite: Gun (steel)

Porygon: again, self explanatory i think. It evolves in a really Climatic Moment too and like Saves The Day (but more of a one-off episode Climatic Moment)

Beldum: another lil robot guy. donnie thought it was cool, and then he learned its evolution is super strong and went “heh knew it all along” but he is clearly lying to look cool

Golek: a lil robot (kinda) guy

Cacturne: he likes botany. And also hes smart enough to kno he needs some type differences in his team (the cacturne was a gift from his bros when they saw how much he liked their grass types)

Raph:

Drednaw: i mean LOOK at that guy. He’d have a shiny version bc the shiny version is a greener shade AND has red on it. Big spiky.

Clefairy: cuddly boy for a cuddly boy

Machoke: he saw one pokemon fight as a kid and fell in love. And then he saw the contests and started entering those, and people think he aims for the “cool” ones but he keeps winning the “cute” ones with his machoke

Snorlax: raph uses him all the time to make his brothers (mostly donnie and leo) sleep, bc he has snorlax (SAFELY) lay on them and fall asleep

Makuhita: cute lil punchy boy :) also reminds me of the paper friend

Ludicolo: i mean come on look at the lil guy of course hes raphs pokemon

Mikey:

Torkoal: fiery turtle. Hot and fun. I think he likes to leap into the air using his back steam (i imagine him yelling “FULL STEAM AHEAD” and then torkoal moves so slow)

Smeargle: self explanatory. Little bouncy art guy. this is his main pokemon, always hanging around him outside the pokeball.

Bellossom: this one just looks like mikey to me. i think him getting it was like a “he saw it abandoned and wanted to return it to its trainer, but it lost a contest so the trainer abandoned it. it now doesnt wanna do contests, but wants BLOOD” type thing. (ok it doesnt want blood but it likes fighting more)

Baltoy: mikey saw this lil clay guy and they bonded immediately. Also some psychic bc mystic magic feels psychic to me. his smeargly likes to paint on it like ceramics

Cranidos: looks like the robot dino from the cut episode, so of course i picked it

Chingling: im not 100% sold on this as one of his pokemon, but its bright and cute and psychic, so i picked it. im open to other ideas tho

April:

Crustle: when they were little and first met april, they wanted her to be apart of their Turtle Squad, so donnie played distraction while they went to catch her one. They saw crustle and went “legs and shell? Fuck yeah turtle pokemon.” when they brought it donnie immediately was like “thats a crab.” but april was so touched she refused to let them try again and she cherishes it so much

Zoura: its mayhem. little chaos fox/animal. always on her shoulders/in her arms/pranking the bros

Solosis: she thinks its cute (raph agrees) but she has to keep it in its ball when shes around donnie bc the texture makes him very upset

Fletchinder: she gives me bird vibes idk and shes passionate (firey).

Skitty: april deserves a cute lil kitty i think. it pretends to be nice but is also means to the boys behind aprils back (aprils pretends not to notice and plays innoncent when the bros confront her but when they leave she gives the skitty a poffin)

Noivern: one donnie actually caught for her (as a noibat) bc it was purple (and he obvs likes purple) and it flies so she could travel far easily and safely. april and donnie are besties and they are the only two the noivern let ride on its back, everyone else it will only carry them in its claws

Casey:

Tirtouga: future donnie made/revived him, and gave him to casey. Casey is a Part of their Turtle Family. Also hes from 100 million years ago, casey is from future. Theyre both lost in time. Idk its cute

Mimiku: it gives me future vibes. It now uses the pikachu disguise to be more intimidating than its form beneath the disguise (due to the electricity). I think also the future has a poison variation that makes it dangerous to touch if it doesnt trust you

Porygon-Z: i really dont wanna say why he has the evolved form of donnies pokemon. But i think yall kno. yes its sad. and yes its weird when they go back in time and see each other. but i think the circumstances that made it evolve to porygon-z are Apocolypse-Only so donnies wont go past porygon2 and make it Extra Weird

Trubbish: a trash pokemon from his apocalyptic future. theyre everywhere. casey loves him and is very defensive of him when he first gets to the past/present, bc new york looks so clean in comparison to the future (when he finally sees all the trubbish there bc its a city hes happy bc his trubbish isnt an outlier)

Amaura: future leo gave him the egg, and he was carrying it around for a while. It only hatched in the past (bc it felt safe enough to do it). yes casey cried. yes he named it after leo (subtly) (it isnt that subtle. probably nicknamed it like Ardo or something).

Applin: the first pokemon he caught in the past/present. He was so surprised to see such a vibrant grass type and he got so excited (grass type are very very rare in the future)

Mikey did the classic Pokemon Magic (thats esp common in the movies) and summoned dialga to send casey back in time. Leo helped by summoning palkia to send him to the right Space. Giratina is there for idk the kraang prison dimension. I havent formulated a lot of it this is just for funsies.
