Hi, do you know where I could find a list of all of Kakashi's Boruto episodes? So far, I haven't got any luck.

Sorry had to do some quick looking. The list is short since Kakashi is more of a background character now, but these are the episodes i could find

Episode 13- The Demon Beast Appears

This is Kakashi’s first real appearance (other than the first episode when he hands off the title of Hokage to Naruto) and the first time we see his new jutsu ‘Purple lightning’ in action. Kakashi jumps into the fight when the village is attacked and directs the shinobi into area’s they need to be in before having a quick chat with Naruto. He took a chunk off of the beast with his purple lightning and busted up the ground with his earth style,

Episode 35- Parent-teacher confrence

Kakashi appears mostly as Sukea in this episode to meet with and talk to the current academy class as they get ready to graduate. It has a cute scene at the end where he takes his disguise off in front of Iruka, showing us that Iruka is aware of his secret identity

Episode 36- Graduation Exam begins

As the title suggests this is when Boruto’s graduation class goes through a a Kakashi style graduation exam. Introducing the bell test all over again Kakashi decides to see how Far Boruto’s class is and if they’re really ready to be shinobi. His focus is mostly on Boruto who has admitted he has no real sense of direction

Episode 37- a shinobi’s resolve

A continuation of the exam where Kakashi confronts Boruto about the truth of being a shinobi and the risks that come with it, and forces him to realize that it’s not all fun and games even if things are more peaceful now. Ends with the class pulling together and facing down Kakashi as a team, and getting electrocutes all together XD also includes Iruka yelling at Kakashi for being too harsh with the kids

Episodes 106-111- Konoha Shinden: Steam Ninja Scrolls Arc

Based off of the manga ‘konoha shinden’ this sorty arc follow’s Mirai as she accompanies Kakashi and Gai on their vacation. It’s a huge arc for Mirai but also vital to Kakashi and Gai as they are on a mission to find out more about Jashin follower’s (people like Hidan) while also being on vacation relaxing. You will see Kakashi genuinely enjoying himself 90% of the time it is amazing

Episode 115- Team 25 (pointed out by @yamanaka-shin )

Kakashi spends most of the episode as Sukea interacting with Team 25 and specificlly Houki Taketori. Houki is a number one Kakashi fan so this episode has a lot of highlights of Kakashi’s character.

Episode 168- Training begins

Boruto goes to Kakashi for training for his rasangan. With Konohamaru unavailable and his dad too busy, Boruto needs someone else to teach him about the rasangan. He asks Sasuke and Sasuke directs him towards Kakashi since he is the only other one in the village who knows how to use the rasangan.

Episode 211 - The Chase (also provides by @yamanaka-shin )

Kakashi teams up with Team Ten (Shikadai, Chocho and Inojin) to do some digging on who may have stolen some data on Leaf Shinobi. Involves a cool, though short, fight scene that’s pure taijutsu. Wish it was more but it was fun to see.

Episode 260- Fireworks of Love

A more silly episode where Kakashi and Boruto help people out while Kakashi tries to get his hands on a first edition copy of the last icha Icha book that has scenes very few people have read before

Chapter 1

also this chapter was like 5 pages long which might be a fluke cause i just completely forgot about half an entire episode lol

Today was the day, after years of training and studying, of begging to be allowed to join the academy, they were finally going to be a ninja. It may not seem that impressive in the long run, but the first step is the most important part of every journey to the top, even if Y/N didn’t really care about fame or power all that much. Making their way to their usual spot, somewhere close to the middle and away from all the yelling, Y/N sat down and began scanning the room for any potential teenage drama to avoid. Not because they were above it all, they loved a good show, it was just easier to keep your head down as a lurker.

On a second pass, Y/N finally landed their eyes on Naruto. “So, Naruto made it in? I knew he was secretly Iruka’s favorite.” They made a note of this observation. Despite most of the class trying to ignore him, he always seemed to drag trouble around. Speaking of trouble, the sudden screeching at the back door meant the harpies Sakura and Ino had arrived. Nothing against the girls themselves, but they’ve always seemed a bit vain and boy crazy. At least Sakura seemed smart, if she ever matured she would become an excellent shinobi.

Naruto seemed to notice them as well, leaving his seat briefly to greet the pink haired girl. Y/N couldn’t help but feel bad when she all but plowed through him to preen at Sasuke, who they just noticed was sitting next to Naruto. Their view was blocked by the crowd of girls that had gathered, all screaming about wanting to sit next to Sasuke, but the sudden silence that fell over them let Y/N know that something big had just happened. Whatever it was, it was bad enough to send the girls into a feeding frenzy. The malice radiating off of them was practically visible, and Y/N thanked whatever god was up there that they had never been the subject of such a beating.

When Iruka-sensei finally entered the classroom, the girls had already finished with Naruto and he had managed to crawl his way back to his seat, right next to Sakura of all people. Y/N switched their attention over to the man standing at the front of the room, they would be getting assigned to their ninja teams today, and it was important that they actually listened. They didn’t have anyone in particular that they wanted on their team, but they hoped for someone calm and willing to work with others. Maybe the Hyuuga girl, Hinata, though she seemed a bit quiet.

Y/N’s thoughts were interrupted once again, “Alright everyone, I’m going to start listing off your new teams, so make sure to pay attention. Now, because our class has one too many students, one of these teams is going to have four people.”

Four students? Y/N always felt a bit out of place, happening to be the fourth person on their bench, but that had just been coincidence. They hoped they weren't cursed to be the odd man out on their squad, they always worked better in smaller groups anyways. They would find out soon enough though, their name hadn’t been called yet.

“Team 7,” Iruka called out, “You guys are going to be our four man squad, with Naruto, Sakura,” Y/N hears some cheering and groaning to their left. “Sasuke,” Again. “And finally, the fourth member is going to be, Y/N!” Fuck.

Iruka immediately moves on, leaving Y/N to contemplate their sudden awful luck. They just had to be stuck with the most annoying students in the school. Y/N slumped over in their seat, there was no point in listening now, they could just lay down and wait for lunch to be called. At least this time could be spent daydreaming about their future, who their sensei might be, all the awesome missions they would go on. Maybe life wasn’t going to be too bad, they just had to focus on training and relaxing where they could.

By the time lunch came around, Y/N was more exhausted than they thought they would be. After the announcement of Sasuke’s team, the classroom had been filled with complaints from several girls. They hoped no one would start harassing them for being paired with him, but seeing the offhand sneers thrown their way, lunch would most likely need to be held away from everyone. As soon as Iruka-sensei announced the last team, they gathered their belongings and headed to one of the many benches lining the school's property.

All they had was a simple bento, some leftovers they saved from last night's dinner, but they weren’t feeling picky today. After their luck with team selections, they figured it would be safer to just accept whatever was thrown at them. Letting out an exaggerated sigh, they dug into their meal, eating with one hand as they pulled out a book to read after they finished. It was an older novel, something off the shelf they had probably read a hundred times before, despite the concerning pile they had yet to start on. Their family ran a small publishing company in Konoha and had enlisted Y/N as an assistant. They had worked with several big name authors before, but they always liked the small, local titles. There was more heart, more passion for what was written.

They hadn’t even packed up their bento when they saw Sakura walk past them, she was mumbling something about Sasuke and foreheads, “Hey, Sakura,” They regretted starting this conversation as soon as they spoke. “I already ate but if you want, we can sit together for the rest of lunch and get to know each other before we meet our sensei?” She didn’t even offer a response, only pausing slightly before turning her nose up and glaring at them from the side. She resumed her walking with more energy but did not call out for Sasuke again, merely sitting on the bench one down from theirs. Despite the massive failure in team bonding, Y/N was not surprised at the results.

They watched the girl slump over quietly for a second before she jolted up. Looking for what had caught her attention, they saw Sasuke leaning on a tree across from her. For a minute, they just watched as the two stared at each other, Sakura occasionally turning her head in embarrassment. She dropped her head again just as Sasuke started moving towards her, though what he called out left them struggling not to interrupt the moment, “Sakura, your forehead, it’s so wide and charming. It makes me feel like kissing it.” They stared at each other for another moment before Sasuke spoke again, “Just kidding, that’s something that idiot Naruto would say.”

Clearly, that isn’t what Sakura wanted to hear, but Sasuke paid no attention and sat down next to her. She looked up at him again when he asked her a question, “So, what do you think about Naruto?”

She answered in a whisper, Y/N had to scootch over to hear her, “He knows about how I feel and still tries to bother me everyday; it’s like he does it on purpose, like he wants me to feel bad. Naruto, he doesn’t know anything about me, he’s just a pest. All I really want is for you to notice me, Sasuke.” They couldn’t see his face, but he had stuttered something back, and Sakura confirmed whatever he had just said, “Yeah, that’s how I feel, I’d do anything.”

Y/N was leaning off of the bench now, desperate to catch any detail. When they saw Sakura start leaning in to kiss him, they had to stop themselves from gasping loudly. Just as it seemed they were about to make contact, Sasuke suddenly jerked away and ran off holding his stomach. They sat back up in their seat to avoid being caught spying and watched, wide-eyed, as Sasuke ran back into the school building while Sakura called after him. After a minute of waiting, Y/N and Sakura saw Sasuke walking down the path again. She immediately jumped up and started rambling about kissing, asking him if he was ready this time.

Much to their surprise, Sasuke just ignored her and kept walking forward, head on a swivel like he was searching for someone. Sakura interrupted herself in confusion, “Hey, Sasuke, where are you going?”

He ignored her again and asked his own question, “Naruto, where is he?”

Her back was facing them, but Sasuke’s uninterested face was in full view as Sakura began ranting again. “Why are you changing the subject again? Anyways, forget Naruto! All he does is pick fights with you. Y’know why he’s so annoying? It’s ‘cause he wasn’t raised right, he doesn’t have a mom or dad to teach him how to behave!”

Y/N stared in disbelief, eyes widening in shock at Sakura’s words. Was that really what she thought? They were surprised Sasuke didn’t have anything to say, all he did was continue to ignore her and look around halfheartedly. Wasn’t he an orphan as well?

Sakura continued, not realizing that the boy in front of her wasn’t paying attention, “Just think about it! He does whatever he wants, as soon as it comes into head!”

Sasuke finally snapped out of his daze, stiffly turning his head to glare at Sakura. The malice he radiated was enough to make them shiver.

Sakura continued, every word only making him more furious, “If I acted like Naruto? Forget it! I mean, my parents would get mad and I’d get in trouble, why would I ever mess around like that? But, I guess, if you don’t have parents to punish you, how would you know? He’s just selfish and bratty, it’s no wonder he’s all alone.”

His scowl deepened before he looked down, his eyes closing and his fists clenching in anger as he stepped to the side, preparing to walk away. “Alone… Isolated…” Sakura threw her head up, finally stopping her rant. “It has nothing to do with whether your parents scold you or not, you have no idea what it means to be alone.”

She took a step backwards, her arms raising slightly, “Why, why are you saying all this?!”

Sasuke turned his head, glaring viciously at her, “Because, you’re annoying.”

Without waiting for her to respond, he walked away. Sakura stood there, staring after his retreating form, before stumbling backwards and slumping down on the bench. Y/N followed her lead, pushing out a breath they didn’t know they were holding, eyes wide as saucers. Hesitantly, they started gathering their belongings, occasionally glancing over at the despondent girl. She had hunched over, gripping her hair and making faces. They considered checking on her, but they wanted to give her some space after that show.

Just as they were about to stand, Naruto finally made an appearance, clutching his stomach and grumbling to himself. Their eyes darted over to Sakura, watching as she made a face like she smelled something horrible. She seemed to collect herself before calling out to the boy, though her expression never dropped.

“Hey, Naruto…! We should walk back to class together.”

She let out a strained chuckle, messing with the fabric at the front of her dress. Naruto stood for a second, seemingly awestruck, before his expression quickly turned sour.

“Trying to trick me, huh, wise guy? Well, I’m not falling for it!”

Naruto brings his hands in front of himself, moving to perform a jutsu, a determined look on his face. He opened his mouth to call out his move, pausing before he could utter a sound, and let out a groan. He clutched his stomach, hunching over. He stumbled backwards, turned shakily, and ran back towards the school building, screaming.

“Again? Why is this happening to me!?”

Y/N and Sakura stared as he bolted, waiting in bated breath for something to break the silence. It seemed that Sakura would be doing the honors, though. As she started to make a choking noise, they turned to look at her, watching as she shook her head in anger. They jumped back in their seat when she threw her head up and cursed Naruto out.

“Naruto, you idiot!”

At that, Y/N decided to leave the girl to her rage. Getting up from their bench silently, they walk back into the school and decide to spend the little time left of lunch reading. As they pass the bathrooms, they crash into Sasuke.

“Oh, shit. I’m so sorry-”

“Tch, whatever. What do you want?”

They blink dumbly while Sasuke’s scowl deepens. Just as he moves to push past them, Y/N scoffs loudly and continues on their way, shoving him to the side with their shoulder. They ignore the indignant sounds coming from the boy, and keep walking towards the classroom.

The rest of the day went by slowly, and now it was just waiting for their new sensei. Supposedly, they were a Jonin; with how late they were, Y/N was surprised they even graduated. They were seated a few seats next to Sasuke, everyone had congregated to the front of the room after all the other jonin had taken their students. Naruto had taken to pacing and Sakura mumbled to herself every so often nearby. It seemed like they were all just waiting for something to happen, luckily Naruto couldn’t go too long without complaining.

“Come on, man! Everyone else has already left, how come our sensei is so late?! Even Iruka-sensei went home already!”

Sakura piped in, “Naruto, calm down. Even if he's late, we need to be respectful. He’s a jonin after all.” Despite her calm words, you could tell even she was starting to get tired of waiting.

“No way! If he’s gonna be this late, I'm gonna teach him a lesson!” Y/N barely lifts a finger to stop Naruto from balancing an eraser on the door, this could potentially be the funniest thing they’d ever seen.

It seemed the rest of their teammates had the same idea, as they only offered minor complaints and warnings that a jonin wouldn’t fall for a prank like that. Now that the trap had been set though, it was only time until it got set off. Almost immediately, a hand grabbed onto the door.

Everyone sat with bated breath as the door creaked open and the eraser landed on the head of a gray haired jonin. He’s… so young.

Naruto burst out laughing instantly, ignoring the heated glare of the older ninja in front of him, “Hahaha! I can’t believe it! This guy’s supposed to be a powerful ninja?”

“Naruto!” Sakura scolded, “I tried to stop him sir, I would never do something like this!” Y/N scoffed under their breath, unknowingly drawing the attention of Sasuke and their new leader.

Sasuke’s eyes flickered over to them for a moment before resting his gaze back on their teacher.

“Well, regardless.” The older teen scowled, “I’d have to say, I think you’re all a bunch of idiots. Now, follow me to the roof.”

i was watching all the filler eps that contained iruka’s backstory, and tbh he is such a cool character and i’m sad he was never expanded upon in the main eps. so here i will put into a bulleted list of everything i can remember about iruka from these episodes and stuff i read on his wiki page!!

iruka is into astrology, stating he is a gemini to his pre-genin class

before becoming a teacher, iruka went on a mission with kakashi, suggesting he was a powerful ninja

iruka has completed 12 A-rank missions

iruka can use both water and fire chakra natures

iruka’s name means “dolphin”, which is interesting considering he is shown to have a form of echolocation type jutsu in his battle with mizuki

iruka became a teacher because the 3rd hokage passed the will of fire to him, and he wanted to pass it on to the younger generation

iruka injured himself on a mission due to his compassion

he acted out in the same way that naruto did after the death of his parents

him and mizuki were very close until his betrayal, and later in the filler mizuki insults iruka saying he never liked him (which made me cry)

he is a very well-rounded shinobi with high intelligence according to the data books, with an intelligence rating of 4.5/5

On today's episode of I Need to Touch Grass, I sent Naruto Online Support an email bc on the Birthday Celebration Event they listed that Iruka's birthday was on 7/15 which is wrong and that day is actually Shikaku Day. What's even worse is my server character name - which is ShikakuNara - is displayed. on the support slip. Rip.

Kawaki Academy Arc: Hana

So this episode was mostly about Himawari's teacher Hana, although we got to learn some stuff about the students too.

Contrary to her character design, Hana has no relation to Sai, Yakumo Kurama, or any of the other painting-type shinobi. She's a clumsy wind user who perpetually sounds like she's on helium.

So she's invited some special instructors to teach the class: Boruto, Sarada, and Mitsuki. Ehou's mind immediately sees it as a networking opportunities. He says you have to get connected to get ahead, because if you get the wrong sensei or team, you may never get a chance to make it to jonin or even chuunin.

It's sad that civilian kids have to think so cynically when they're young, especially while rich kids like Hima can stay innocent, but it's definitely realistic. Props to the writing team for that subtle commentary.

Anyway, Team 7 takes the kids to the gym for some demonstrations. In true little brother style, Boruto gets in Kawaki's face and acts obnoxious. Kawaki kicks him away, and the two start fighting in class.

Poor Himawari just mutters "this always happens." She knew those two would embarrass her the moment they were in a room together.

While Mituski is showing a lightning technique, some of the little kids move for a closer look, because like moths to a flame, they have no sense of self-preservation. Hana wind-blasts them of the way before one of them can get electrocuted, but instead of being a badass moment, the kids whine and she apologizes.

Next up is a bit of product placement, I mean team-building. Boruto brings enough burgers for half the class, then says they have to fight over them. They can go anywhere on campus, and whoever has the red balls by the end of the period wins the burgers.

But since it's peacetime, none of these children know how to fight, so it becomes an awkward game of tag.

(Unrelated note: I apologize to Harika for insulting her fashion sense. Other than the aviator helmet, her outfit is actually put together well. She even has a cute purse...or maybe it's a bug-carrying sack like Shino and Shibi used to wear. Who knows?)

Mimi, who I misgendered last time and is actually a girl, is the only child who thinks "Hey, maybe instead of fighting we should go visit the vending machines." Ehou decides this is AGAINST THE RULES, even though as Soul (girl in red) points out, the teachers never said anything against scavenging.

He confiscates Mimi's candy bar, and soon the whole class is fighting over whether poor Mimi deserves chocolate. Despite Hana's efforts to calm them down, the class splits up, with Ehou and Soul leading each side. Everyone except Kae and the Uzumaki kids boycotts school because they don't want to study with "the enemy."

In one of Shino and Anko's little peanut gallery conversations, Shino concludes this lesson must have been "too advanced" for children who haven't learned about teamwork yet.

The crotchety old man in me wanted Iruka to come down and remind these kids that if they don't come to school, they can't graduate and become ninja. But instead it becomes Hana's duty to bring the class back together.

She approaches both ringleaders to coax them back to school. Soul apparently idolizes Gai-sensei to the point that she has his picture in an old-fashioned locket. So Hana personally sewed Soul a hideous spandex uniform for her to wear. Soul understandably refuses, saying she admires Gai's skills, not his fashion sense.

I'm calling it now, this girl is the new Tenten: a snarky mom-friend who is obsessed with taijutsu. She's skyrocketed in my personal tier list for this class.

Hana bribes Ehou with ramen and a Hokage speech. She then sends out mysterious invitations to each student. They all show up at school, and she announces they're having a cherry blossom viewing party.

The kids point out that it's not the right season for cherry blossoms. She has the kids close their eyes, and then suddenly petals are raining down from the sky. As a viewer, I thought this Hana's chance to step out of Team 7's shadow and show off her fancy genjutsu.

But actually the petals were paper. She was just using wind jutsu to blow the petals around like a fan. But everyone agrees it's the thought that counts.

Soul and Ehou confide in Himawari that they mostly came out of pity for Hana-sensei, since even though she can't do anything right, she still tries hard.

On one hand, that's pretty brutal after Hana visited them both personally for a pep talk. On the other hand, Hana tripped over a rock and needed Himawari and Kawaki to catch her. She also burned the lunch she cooked for the students beyond recognition. So it's a little understandable why the kids doubt her competence.

The last shot shows Shino asking Boruto if he'd like to be a guest instructor again, and Boruto nopes out of that quickly. He's seen how brutal these kids can get. Genocidal aliens he can handle - petty preteen drama he cannot.

1. How long have you been creating KakaIru fanworks?

Hmm. I started writing KakaIru around, 2021. So that makes it 2 years now

2. What are you working on right now?

Lol, I have so many on my WIP docs. Maybe a handful? Though, Currently I am trying to finish ‘IRUKA’ that I started writing last year.

3. What is your favourite trope to create for?

I am not quite sure, but recently I’ve been reading lots of Omegaverse mangas and reincarnations. So currently I kinda want to write a fic around those. But I can’t promise. Oh, but when I started writing KakaIru, I was very much into genderbend stories. That’s why I have lots of Kakashi-Iruka fics with Iruka as the opposite gender, or the other way around. But mostly with Iruka as a woman.

4. Which of your creations is your favourite, and why?

That’s a very hard question. Hahah. I get embarrassed by most of my fics. But I do have one. I wrote a fic called ‘Rumor’. Where a female Kakashi is trying to court a dense Iruka. I just thought it would be fun to write Kakashi as a girl, but with Iruka being too soft, kind and a gentleman. Kakashi had to take matters into her own hands. And I like how it ended. It’s also funny how Iruka was trying to stop the rumors circulating about him and Kakashi, and ended up with…welp. No spoilers. hehehe

5. Do you have any WIPs you’re excited about?

Oh, definitely. I do have. IRUKA. I know I already mentioned how there’s no Good ending. But I am still excited to finish writing the last chapter, to which I can’t promise when I will post. Had a busy month, and recently I’ve been into this online game that I used to play back in 2007.

6. Do you have any original characters? If so, tell us about them!

Honestly, I am not much for OCs. unless, they are very likable. But I prefer creating one just for the flow of the story? Like the one I created….not sure which one either. I created a few random OC’s. hahahah

7. What was your hardest piece to create, and why?

The hardest piece would be this one, ‘Wrong decisions begets…’ I wrote this fic for a gift during the ‘Springtime of Romance: Youthful Passion’. I honestly had a hard time on how I should end the story, thus why there are two endings. Hahaha. Also it might have been the first for me to write a fic with a different plot. I usually go with soft, romance, genderbend. You know the good kind, cuz they are easier to write.

8. Do you have any favorite scenes from something you’ve created?

Favorite scene. hmmmm. I do have some but the top on the list was on the fic ‘Pure’ where toddler Kakashi observes Baby Iruka, and is still a papa’s boy. Also Sakumo is there.

9. Where does your inspiration come from?

I am not sure… But maybe when I’m bored or when I am in the middle of something. mmm…But every time I watch Naruto, I always get inspired by some episodes, and decide to write one with a twist. Or when I read something amusing about KakaIru, and would plot something involving what I learned about the characters. Sometimes fan art gives me ideas too. In other words, it just sprung out at random times and I do enjoy writing. Writing, in a way, is a stress reliever for me too, and it’s enjoyable to play out my thoughts in writing.

10. Which of your creations is the most meaningful to you, and why?

I think it’s the very first fic that I wrote with KakaIru. ‘Iruka’s Hair tie’. It has a bit of memory from the past. A bittersweet one. Lol. But when an artist that I am subscribed to liked that fic. It made it more meaningful for me, and kinda boosted my happiness with writing. She also did another art based on another one of my fic, so I was even more happy.

1.What originally drew me to it

id been watching anime for a long time like inuyasha, tsubasa, dragon ball, gundam seed.. etc so i naturally always knew about naruto but it wasnt until summer of 2007 that i began. i was captivated by irukas sacrifice in episode 1 (was bawling right alongside naruto) and proceeded to binge watch 75ep in 3 days. its the "loneliness scares me to death" webbed throughout the story that drew me in. it wasnt so much his gusto to become hokage despite his hardships, but rather, it was seeing his emotional breakdown when seeing someone (iruka) finally see him as a human being and accept him that did it for me.

and another aspect that is closely related that drew me were the themes of wars impact on children. when i was a kid i was for some reason very into "child soldier" stories. one of my favourite novels at the time was "war brother" and to this day, my go-to answer of my favourite anime is "gundam seed".. and when i compare naruto to it, the surface level parallels between the two are very clear ('wars robbing childhoods... having children/teens fight old men's battles.. fighting others because of the uniforms they wear and not their individual beliefs (think of waves arc)) . these are the thought provoking and emotionally quenching themes that drew me to both shows.

5. The character who gives me the greatest gender envy

im pretty basic lol but my fav character designs (like who i find the most attractive and would try to 'emulate' perhaps) are mito uzumaki and hashirama

8. The character with the greatest wasted/unexplored potential

neji hyuuga. chuunin exams was such a strong arc in introducing the cast of side characters and their individual backstories and none got me as frusturated as nejis. seeing his story go nowhere in shippuden only for him to "die" in such a disrespectful manner is something i will always hate about this series and block from my memory 90% of the time.

as the boys don’t age very much i cannot decipher whether or not an interest in naruto would happen more ‘naturally’ or if it would be some renaissance situation (like the franchise got good again) but here’s my takez

Stan - not into it in the start. cartman wld probably tell people it’s the last politics free cartoon or something and it would kinda annoy him because naruto’s about some social outcast from his understanding.. so after some thought he tunes in. he gets emotional watching the father-son bond naruto has with iruka but keeps his focus on the village politics, kinda like in The Big Fix. he gets hooked and ends up spoiling a lot of it for himself but basically cartman is very wrong and now stan mourns the deaths of neji just to prove a point. He’s a team gai guy, lee is his goat and tenten is in his top ten women he respects list (/lh)

Kenny - he tells people his favourite character is sasuke but he’s really more of a inoshikacho guy. he says this because his real favourite character is the oc he thinks about before he goes to sleep. his oc starts as a minor character met on a mission by inoshikacho, but ends up joining the team somehow. cartman knows about kenny’s oc and writes fanfic of the oc with various naruto ladies for him, sometimes even roleplaying as them through dolls painted on action figures.

Cartman - cartman’s lazy so he got into naruto first by idiling tv all day. his first episode of classic naruto was gaara vs lee and he doesn’t watch it in order. he’s a gaara sympathizer because gaara’s is more masculine compared to sasuke, who thinks is an emo who cries a lot. his naruto oc is constantly a work in progress because he needs to keep it as OP as possible while being continually exposed to more and more powerful justu, but it is basically sasuke’s backstory with gaaras traits. his main narugirl is hinata.

Kyle - kyle is not a ‘true’ fan. kyle only likes sasuke. he typed in ‘naruto’ on youtube once and watched a lot of Rock Lee and his Ninja Pals more than the actual show. kyle finds sasuke attractive but he doesn’t realise it. kyle defends sasuke from cartman even if he doesn’t know what cartman is talking about. sasuke is deep and personal to him for a while, so cartman sometimes makes shit up about gaara to prove to kyle sasuke is a loser. if he had to pick a narugirl… his would be sakura.

i can’t even lie, i’m invested

I am now on episode 6, and somewhere within all the wildly predictable plotlines, excessive mentions of boobs (he’s 12, right?), and whatever Sakura is doing, I have started to genuinely watch this show.

So far my opinions are that Konohamaru, Sasuke, and Iruka are the best characters on this show and I will die for them when it comes down to it.

He is getting a lecture on how the government works from the literal head of the government, and he won’t shut the fuck up about ramen. Iconic I am so here for this.

I don’t like this onion hat guy but I DO love his onion hat.

I honestly can’t stand Sakura I really could do without her.

Kakashi is moving up on my list but what I hate most about him is how much we are supposed to like him.

Umino Iruka (lover) the caption read. It didn't matter that it wasn't true. The Book was fact, and to Kakashi's enemies, Iruka had just become a weakness they could exploit.

Comments: Sensor-type!Iruka, ANBU, awkward KakaIru, what else could you possibly want in a fic? I love it when Iruka surprises people with how good of a ninja he is, even though he's "just a chuunin teacher". One of my favorite tropes, along with his chakra-location (like echolocation) from that one episode. Also, flailinginlove is an amazing author and you should go check out more of their stories.

When Kakashi realizes Naruto's assigned caretakers aren't even sort of doing their job, the young anbu decides to do a bit of long term babysitting (and possibly commit treason). What follows is the story of Uzumaki-Hatake Naruto and his unconventional family.

This is primarily a slice of life piece and heavy on both fluff and angst. It covers a lot of the canon events and has cannon typical violence and darker themes. It can be read as a stand alone, but is the first work of 3 planned in this AU.

Comments: Dad!Kakashi raising Naruto, lots of politics, hella canon divergence. Part 1 of 3 in The Pack series.

Comments: Found family plus Fix-It fic galore! Focus on Kakashi being a good dad to Naruto, but does have some pairings aren’t that central to the plot: Kakashi/Iruka, Naruto/Shikamaru. Bonus Iruka being a Fuuinjutsu BAMF.

It felt like it must have shattered bone, ribs grinding against each other in his chest, and Iruka bit his tongue almost until it bled to keep from crying out.

“Tell me, Iruka-sensei,” Tsunade said. “How long, exactly, have you been feeling Hatake Kakashi’s emotions?"
