Weekly Original Nen Ability inspired by Songs!

Welcome back to my weekly blog where I share original Nen abilities inspired by popular songs! 

 But before we get into the new ability, I want to take a moment to apologize for the lack of updates over the past few months. Unfortunately, the other abilities that I had queued up were accidentally deleted, and the tab I used to write them on was also broken. I apologize for any disappointment or inconvenience this may have caused, and I appreciate your patience and understanding. 

With that said, let's get straight to the new ability! 

This week's ability is called "Dark Age Prophecy" and it was inspired by the song "Little Dark Age" by MGMT. The song's lyrics describe a person grappling with their inner turmoil and the dark forces that lurk around them, even as they try to maintain a sense of normalcy. The song's themes of darkness, inner conflict, and the struggle to maintain a facade of stability inspired me to create an ability that reflects those ideas. 

Name: Dark Age Prophecy 

Type: Conjuration-Specialization 

Description: The user of this ability conjures a deck of tarot cards and imbues them with Nen. The deck contains 22 major arcana cards and 56 minor arcana cards. The user then emits a Nen thread to a target to establish a connection with them. 

The ability works in three stages: 

Stage 1 - Reading: The user shuffles the deck and draws three cards, representing the past, present, and future. The user then interprets the meaning of the cards and uses manipulation to convey the message to the target. The accuracy of the reading depends on the user's proficiency in tarot reading, Nen proficiency, and the clarity of the target's aura. The user cannot manipulate the target's actions directly, but they can use suggestion to influence their decisions. 

Stage 2 - Manifestation: After the reading, the user can choose to manifest one of the three cards drawn from the deck. When the card is manifested, it will trigger an effect that corresponds to the card's meaning. For example, if the user manifests the "Death" card, it may cause the target to feel a sense of impending doom and be more vulnerable to attacks, while the "Sun" card may boost the target's energy and confidence. The effects are temporary and wear off after a certain amount of time.  

Stage 3 - Prophecy: Once the first two stages are complete, the user can use manipulation to implant a suggestion into the target's subconscious. The suggestion will influence the target's future actions based on the reading and the effect of the manifested card. The target will feel a strong urge to follow the suggestion, but they still have the ability to resist it if their willpower is strong enough. The accuracy of the suggestion depends on the user's proficiency in manipulation and the target's susceptibility to suggestion. 

 Limitations: 

The user must deeply understand tarot reading and Nen to use this ability effectively. 

The user can only perform a reading on one target at a time and must establish a connection with them using Nen. 

The user cannot force the target to take specific actions, but can only influence their decisions through suggestion. 

The manifestation of a card can only be used once per reading, and the effects wear off after a certain amount of time. 

The suggestion implantation is not foolproof and can be resisted by a strong-willed target. 

The user cannot use the ability if the deck of cards is damaged or destroyed. 

This ability allows the user to use the symbolism of the tarot cards to make accurate readings of a target's past, present, and future, and use manipulation to influence their actions. The ability is limited by the user's knowledge and proficiency, as well as the target's susceptibility to suggestion. The ability's name, "Dark Age Prophecy," reflects the ominous and uncertain themes of the song that inspired it, as well as the idea of using the tarot to predict and influence the future.

I once thought that the song "Little Dark Age" was surely made by the old Athenians. The band time travelled to k1dnap these old Athenian and gave them modern music to experiment with and until one day they finished this masterpiece. Like the box where an apple could become water and the water could become a bird idk what is it but like the endless possibilities where the old genius Athenians were kept alive until the band was satisfied with the outcome lol and then when the people came back to their time nobody believed that they were kidnapped by people and forced them to make weird music with weird equipment.
