I dare u to write yourself as the maincharacter (ex instead of marinette it's you) in ANY scene (love confession, fluff, angst, action etc..) using description of urself within ANY fandom. Good luck ;)
Oh my god. Alright, anon this is a war lmao XD my one sided annihilation begins now. I swear this will be the ultimate cringefest. I apologize in advance guys, I'm sorry if you have to use bleach on your eyes.
I was tempted to write that fluffy confession/romance stuff (even tho I'm not that good at writing fluff) but I chose the other route because...it's more me lol. Instead of ML, I tried out BNHA. Also, first POV was much too cringey for me.
Turbulent Emotions
She was still just a side-kick for the Big Three, Tamaki more so than Mirio or Nejire.
Even though the ethusiastic girl wanted to have her on the team ('It's about time another girl joins our group!') Mirio advised she was a better match with Tamaki, due to the similarity of their quirks.
Her quirk was something that manifested at a young age, just like with most children.
Her parents had noticed it the first time when she'd accidentally burned her food (and plate) when the wretched broccolli had found its way on it, something 4-year old her definitely did not like at the time.
The fire licking at the tips of her fingers had causes her to cry, even if the flames didn't burn her nor those she loved around her.
She'd learned her quirk was something tied to her emotions.
She'd use fire when angry, the wrath within her converting into heat. Indifference and passiveness converted into ice, happiness converted into beams of light or flowers.
Sadness turned into water or any other liquidized substances, mud was particularly gruesome (she'd like to throw it at someone but was too sad to and when she would try to get angry, the mud would turn to ash).
It was similar yet different to Tamaki's quirk Manifest, he'd transform his body into anything he ate, hers was transforming her emotions into something tangible.
She supposed she was a good support in a fight, the only real problem was to get her angry. She had a high tolerance for assholes and working with Tamaki, who was the epitome of the complete opposite, wasn't a big help in trying to make her mad.
He flat out refused trying to anger her, even if it was to their benefit and not meant in any serious way. That was a bit of a stitch in their teamwork dynamic.
Like now.
"Tamaki!"
The quirk user quickly deflected another bout of swords aimed at him and his companion, his tentacles covered in resistant scale-like armor (that turtle soup had been a good idea) that caused the blades to harmlessly bounce off him, "N-No!"
She could feel frustration slowly taking over her being, "Tamaki, we don't have time for this! More villains are going to come!" she was virtually useless without high strung emotions, so she tried compensating by training as a close combat fighter.
Uraraka and Gunhead certainly helped there.
She executed a series of kicks and punches to the villain, whose jaw tried snapping at her limbs every chance it got, usually when she performed high jumps and was suspended in mid-air for a few seconds.
Until Tamaki's tentacles snatched her away to his side, his armor thankfully keeping up, "Why?!" her frustrated shout could be heard through the whole park.
She liked Tamaki, he was a sweetheart, but behaving like this was going to get them killed.
Tamaki was powerful in his own right, he'd already taken on several villains on his own but a whole group of them was coming this way and she was nothing but deadweight in a fight if he didn't get her angry this instant.
"Why?! I-I can't just insult you! I won't do it!" his stubborness was surprisingly high during fights, especially if he had the impression any of his friends or teammates were in danger.
The dangerous snapping turtle they were up against didn't help either, digging it's sword-like appendages at Tamaki's armor.
She stomped her foot, slamming it on his transformed claw one and he yelped in pain, "Ow! That-"
She grabbed a hold of his jacket and shouted at his face, her body starting to glow, "If you don't drop your sweetass persona we'll both get bludgeoned! So, I suggest you either talk shit to me or hit me because I'm useless without my goddamn quirk!"
It'd taken a split second for the villain to use a opening in Tamaki's armor, a bladed claw thrusting through and nearly stabbing her, until white hot flames suddenly melted the metal straight off.
The villain cried out, his metal limb still melting in the face of the burning heat radiating off of her body as she began approaching him, a murderous intent making her eyes stand out like those of a demon's.
Tamaki's scales were protecting him well enough, but even he took a step back when the rest of the villains entered the scene.
He had a plan.
Tamaki allowed a small smile to grace his lips and that certainly caught the woman's attention, "Oh, so you're smiling now?! Think you're funny, huh?" she grit her teeth, grabbing the head of the sobbing villain still gingerly holding onto his melting limbs, "You know what else is funny?! Me burning you to fried chicken Tamaki!"
An explosive blast similar to Bakugou's calibre burned a path through the ground, decimating a long line of villains in her way.
It was working.
Tamaki cleared his throat, adopting a innocent expression, "B-But you know I-I can't insult you! And hitting you is definitely out of the question! Y-You're my partner and-"
Her ire grew and she inadvertedly sent another villain flying to the skies when her burning fist swung out in frustration, "Partner my ass!"
Another villain got stomped to the ground brutally.
"I'm useless without my quirk!"
Another villain fell to his knees at the smoking smell and burning sensation of his lower half.
"If I say you have to anger me-"
A villain was about to attack her from her blind spot, but Tamaki's claw easily shoved him out of the way as his partner raged at him.
"-Then you have to at least try and anger me Tamaki!"
The male smiled, retracting his tentacles, "I think you did fine on your own." his impish smile, a smile she didn't often see on his nervous and shy face, made her pause.
Wait...
She turned around, watching the massacre she'd caused.
The villains were still alive, she hoped, but in various states of agony. Some were craddling smoking body parts, others had been flung onto trees and some were laying in heaps of groaning burning flesh on the ground in agony.
She stiffened in embarrassment, "Uh-oopps." she covered her mouth with her hands, her nervousness getting the better of her, "T-T-Ta-Tama-"
The pro-hero walked to her side, patting her shoulder like he did to Kirishima, "You did good." for the first time since he'd started taking on apprentices (not counting Kirishima) he'd felt proud of his shy and mild mannered nature.
He was unable to anger her on purpose, but he could anger her on accident.
She groaned and covered her face, lightly hitting his shoulder, "This wasn't supposed to go like this... Fatgum will kill me."
Tamaki chuckled, "I don't think so, he'll probably scold me though..." he shivered at the memory of entering his agency and getting mocked by Fatgum whenever the hero sung him what he dubbed as 'praises'.
She snorted softly, giggling, "You're a good guy Tamaki, I'm happy you followed your heart and it still worked out in the end." redness spread over her cheeks and she shifted her weight, "Uh...I'm sorry for getting mad at you earlier, I didn't realize your plan..."
The quirk-user shook his head, his tentacles already gathering the fallen villains and tying them with rope for the other pro-heroes, "It's fine, I think Mirio was right."
She rose an eyebrow at his statement.
Tamaki offered a small, kind smile, "I guess we really are a good team."
She grinned in relief, helping him gathering the villains, most of them cowering in fear whenever she moved close to them.
It was a good day.
Bonus:
"Tamaki! Good job out there!" Fatgum roughly patted the youth's back and Tamaki leaned his head against the wall, a dark aura surrounding him.
"Why do you have to mock me all the time..."
Fatgum turned his bright grin towards his new apprentice, "I had no idea Tamaki was such a sly fox, but I admit it was a clever way to make use of your quirk! I'm proud of you." he patted her shoulder and she nodded, bowing.
"Thank you sir!"
Fatgum smiled widely, "No need calling me sir! Let's get some ice-cream as reward!"
Her mood immediately brightened, "Ice-cream?!"
Small petals and flowers immediately manifested and fell over her hair and arms, a petal falling on Tamaki's head and Fatgum and her both laughed at his sigh.
I'm so sorry for this cringe. (Hides)

It’s so hard to type on the tablet so I did only the briefest of summaries at the time.  An account of random Tana encounters in NYC over supercard weekend, cut for length.
Anyway - I’d promised @lone-gunwoman-of-the-week a new york postcard, which with one thing and another I had forgotten entirely about until Saturday, when we passed a big rack of them outside a touristy place down the street and I stopped dead and pointed, “POSTCARD!”
We were on a trek to Macy’s at the time, looking to get mum an emergency replacement purse because hers had blown out its zipper with all the stuff she was carrying in it - the last straw was after Wrestlecon when she couldn’t find her Metrocard, and then it just gave up the ghost.
(Macy’s was way too expensive as an aside - we ended up going to K mart lol.  Those all closed here like two decades ago!)
So we got the postcard, and then a stamp at the other gift shop in the hotel...only I was in pretty rough shape so we decided to go back up to the room so I could actually write the postcard & address and such.  So we went back down to mail it, conveniently at the letterbox at the other end of the lobby.
Like I say, @joshi-hashi by total coincidence booked us at the same hotel where the whole roster was staying, so over the course of three days I ran into / saw, including but probably not limited to: Kazu, Ishii, Sho & Yoh, Yano, Tacos, Goto, Shingo, Naito, EVIL, Will, Shibata & his lions, Juice, Zack (we kept riding the elevator with him lol), Jay, Tama, Haku, Yujiro, Gedo, Jado, Taguchi, Rocky, Ren, Shota, Red Shoes, Sato, Marty, MiSu, Taka, Kota, Kagatsu & a few of the other Stardom girls, Sumie...
Again, I was in rough shape and mum was faring no better, so in the window of time between waking up and the show, we could have gone and done more tourist stuff but after the subway disaster on Friday, we elected just to stay around home base, Saturday.  And I needed to sit down, so we picked a spot on one of the long padded couches in the lobby to recoup a little.  Not a minute later, Tacos, Goto & Yano rounded the bend from the elevator - we’d somehow managed to time it so that we were sitting there as literally everybody was making their way across to MSG for the show.  Hand on heart, total coincidence...I just wanted to mail a postcard lol.  As obviously times when you can just sit there comfortably and watch the whole NJPW roster walk past are fairly limited in number, we elected to stay a while.  Kazu actually came from the direction of the doors but he did have a suitcase, so I have no idea where he’d been - he grinned at us when we waved though.  Shota smiled too, Kota managed somehow to smile, wave and bow without even slowing down because that’s just the kinda guy he is.  MiSu looked at us like we were nuts every time we waved lol but we kept doing it anyway.  Most didn’t notice - I always feel like being to forward is rude so we just kept to our seat & waved rather than trying to get selfies or start a conversation - everybody was obviously all over everywhere and busy.
I couldn’t help myself on a very specific occasion, though.  “We’ll wait til 3:30,” I said casually, fooling no one.  We had the end bench right by the little dividing wall that obscures the elevators; he emerged nearly right next to me and I sprang up like a jack in the box.  My hair was pigtailed and I had my hat on rather than the feathered headband & ponytail, and I was dressed like a normal human being rather than wrestling Cinderella, but he remembered me ^_^  I didn’t want to detain him or anything so we just clasped hands again & I wished him luck - though I guess it didn’t help much.  But I was so happy just to see him again, for what I figured would be the last (probably only) time casually.  Two really sweet Japanese ladies also spotted him on the way out and physically chased him down the lobby to say hi lol.  The pillars were a little in the way but we could see him beaming while they gushed over him, and then they took a selfie.  I guess they must have complimented his hair (which looked fucking amazing) because he told them getting it done for the show cost $300 lol.  It absolutely looked it.  We were still sitting there when they came back and of course they noticed my Tana shirt - they both had his shirts on too (I think he might have signed them on the spot cos they were both proudly showing me the autographs).  So we had a really lovely chat in what they could manage in english (much much better than my broken Japanese).  Rachel appeared not long after, summoned by my mention of Kota going past, and so we all talked a while.  I just.  I love wrestling lol and the kinship of wrestling fans.
Later, after Supercard (which was on whole at least live very good, apart from some really, really stupid decisions on ROH’s part) it was past midnight when we got back to the room; our airport shuttle was due to arrive at 3:05 last we’d heard, but mum had a text message waiting RE: a slight bump up to 3:15, something schedule or logistics related I guess.  So we figured that there was no point going to bed as we’d maybe get two hours’ sleep before the wake up call and it’d be better to use the time packing and getting everything arranged.  When more or less everything was, I went up to floor 12 to sit up at the common table with Elle & Rachel (admittedly I broke into a bit of a sprint when Elle texted to say Tana’d gone past lol).  By another total coincidence as we were sitting there loudly discussing the show, an absolutely lovely gentleman who works in what sounded like a v. important position with NJPW World happened to walk past and overhear.  He’s obviously got a vested interest, so he u-turned as I was saying “If someone had only just casually seen this as a first introduction they’d probably come away concluding New Japan is amazing and ROH is terrible.”
“New japan is amazing?” he echoed, to a chorus of Yes’s.  So we had a chat for about twenty minutes giving him general feedback, telling him how we all met cos of NJPW, how we first heard about it, watch every show live, showed him all our costumes for the show, etc.  He got a handle on Elle and Rachel’s names but kept calling me “Hiroshi” because he’d seen me the day before at Wrestlecon in my Tana dress lmao.   He was a real sweetheart - a fan turned employee, living the dream.  He thanked us for paying his salary, essentially lol.  I should have thought to ask him about putting out an english subtitled version of Shinsuke’s Wonderland interview XD
But I had to run not long after he left, cos I’d cut it a bit fine with 20 minutes or so before the shuttle was scheduled.  We weren’t sure if the driver would come looking or if we had to be outside, so mum checked the keycards while I ran to see if I could ask the doorman, figuring he/they would keep a better watch and know what to look for, or just know which way it would be.  That early in the morning there wasn’t a doorman, though.  So to play it safe we stayed by the doors just inside, keeping watch, figuring at about five min before the appointed time we’d go outside.  “The lobby seems so empty without all the wrestlers in it,” mum remarked.  I figured that late, everyone must have gone to bed already.
Not long after though, TAKA came in with uh...let’s just say ‘some lady friends’ and hope they were fully informed lady friends.  “There, happy?” I said to mum, looking back towards the door in time to see Kota heading for it with a few of the accompanying entourage I figure must have been staff, translators and officials - they were everywhere too, this weekend.  I thought for a split second, ‘Oh good, I’ll be able to congratulate him!’ before he faded to a gentle haze in the background, as the sun himself said something on the way past and walked on by the door, towards Macy’s.  I don’t even think I said anything to mum but she probably understood when I took off at a dead sprint, not even bothering to drop my suitcase handle, just towing it behind me like a little red wagon.  I blew past Kota without even looking at him (I’m so sorry dude!!!!) and went as fast as my poor abused knee could carry me the way he’d gone - he hadn’t gotten far, just tucked around a little corner by the entrance - I think he was gonna do another selfie or panoramic lol.
Again, the man is fucking unflappable, as he didn’t even raise an eyebrow when confronted with a disheveled, panting nutcase in a trenchcoat and newsboy cap being smacked in the back of her legs w/ her own suitcase at the abrupt stop.  “We’re just waiting for our airport shuttle!” I blurted.  “So I get to say goodbye!”
He actually managed to look happy to see me, bless his heart lol.  He thanked me for the third time, for the doll I made him, and I just said thank you for everything.  Again - I don’t like to be too forward, I don’t even think I could bring myself to ask for a hug, I’m too shy & too much of a headcase wrt fear of being a burden or an annoyance.  But he came at me first, and when the Ace has his arms open to you, there is but one possible course, and that course is to throw yourself into them lol.  He is a wonderful hugger :’)  It’s like being wrapped in the embrace of everything that is good and pure in this world & that’s not even hyperbole, that was really how it felt.
I’m so glad I got to say goodbye.  I mean...it would’t have broken my heart, you know?  There’s always that “Oh maybe I’ll see him again at random” thought in the back of the mind but it’s utterly without expectation.  But I was blessed enough to have the chance to speak to him twice, by chance.
It really was like a lil fairytale; my lil wrestling Cinderella dream come true in a way I never would have actually believed.

not reblogging the meme since my answers are gonna be about...
Tumblr media
THEM!
General, in a canon setting:
Rate the Ship -   Awful | Ew | No pics pls | I’m not comfortable | Alright | I like it! | Got Pics? | Let’s do it! | Why is this not getting more attention?! | The OTP to rule all other OTPs
How long will they last? - FOREVER. even after nagareyama. they’re chillin in space rn wondering why a bunch of foreigner kids are running blogs about them
How quickly did/will they fall in love? - the attraction was immediate. kat-chan was visiting toshi’s brother-in-law when they met, and toshi was so taken with the tennen rishin ryu (and its master) that he decided to train seriously. they got on really well but it wasn’t until that day they were sitting by the lake when toshi realized he was actually falling in love with kat-chan. and who wouldn’t, honestly? kat-chan told him it was okay to be himself, instead of what the world wanted of him. 20/10 marriage material
How was their first kiss? - soft. almost shy. they both pined quietly and toshi was content with that instead of confessing and potentially ruining everything...until kat-chan was just so radiant by candlelight and the moment was perfect.
Wedding, in a modern au setting:
Who proposed? - kat-chan. despite that they already discussed getting married multiple times, being officially asked came as a surprise to toshi. they picked out wedding rings together but lo and behold, kat-chan went on his own to buy pair set engagement rings. when they were visiting their families in tama, they took a walk one night and went back to their spot by the lake...and that’s when kat-chan officially asked him. whAT A FLUFFY DORK.
Who is the best man/men? - souji for kat-chan and the sait for toshi
Who is the bride’s maid(s)? - tbh, the whole shieikan crew is in the wedding party. they told chizuru to pick her dress but she ended up wearing a suit like the rest of everyone else because #shieikan solidarity. (consequently, i was there and i fell in love with her.)
Who did the most planning? - yall know toshi would be a groomzilla lmao
Who stressed the most? - toshi. kat-chan kept trying to help...even if toshi kept yelling. eventually, he gave in tho. lol like kat-chan would totally try to delegate tasks to their sword sons and take toshi out to attempt alleviating his stress. he’s Good
How fancy was the ceremony? - it was neither over the top or overly simple: a venue large enough to host their guests for the actual ceremony and reception. there’s often an after-party in modern japanese weddings, so they went to an upscale bar type of place for theirs
Who was specifically not invited to the wedding? - kat-chan wrestled with the idea of inviting serizawa out of courtesy...until toshi (softly) hit him on the head with a magazine
Sex, in a canon and/or au setting:
Who is on top? - consider this: toshi is a bottom whether he’s penetrated or penetrating 👀
Who is the one to instigate things? - both do
How healthy is their sex life? - it’s healthy...as in it’s never expected or taken for granted. they fuck as much or as little as they want and neither is left feeling like something is missing
How kinky are they? - i mean...lmao. kinky is such a subjective word. whatever they do is 10000% consensual and with the other’s respect and comfort in mind at all times
How long do they normally last? - however long they want???
Do they make sure each person gets an equal amount of orgasms? - nah. i mean, i get this question is probably asking if one is more selfish than the other and just takes and takes without ever giving. but also consider one getting the other off when he’s had a rough day. 👀 👀 👀 or under-the-desk head at work lmao
How rough are they in bed? - however rough they wanna be at that particular time. again, it’s always about respect and comfort.
How much cuddling/snuggling do they do? - they’re not into PDA but when they’re alone, they like to be in contact with each other...reading together, spooning at night (until it gets too hot or toshi is annoyed by the breathing on his neck lmao), hella kisses when the door is closed
Children, in a canon setting :
How many children will they have naturally? - 0. loophole ftw
How many children will they adopt? - add up the amount of people younger than them who were in the shin//sengumi and there’s your answer
Who is the stricter parent? - oh, that’s hijimama for sure lol
Who stops the kid(s) from doing dangerous stunts? - i mean...they’re here to kill cho//shu trash so... they’re both particularly protective over souji (since they basically raised him). kat-chan also is very fond of heisuke, while toshi is fond of yamazaki and the sait
Who remembers to pack the lunch(es)? - pSHHH the only cooking either might do is making something small for the other. the sword kids will have to rely on the kitchen staff. ...though kat-chan does show up with sweets every now and then ;D
Who is the more loved parent? - depends on who you’re asking... lol Favored Dads™ is a legit thing
Who is more likely to attend the PTA meetings with matsudaira? kat-chan...though if it’s important enough, toshi will accompany him
Who cried the most at graduation serizawa’s funeral? - i heard someone saying how toshi got all teary-eyed LMAOOOOO give him an edo-era oscar
Who is more likely to bail the child(ren) out of trouble with the law? - they ARE the law...with their own laws...which include seppuku...so their kids best not fuck up.
Cooking, in a modern au setting :
Who does the most cooking? - it depends but it’s mostly equal or a joint effort
Who is the most picky in their food choice? - neither. even in a present day au, kat-chan is still hella adamant about appreciating meals and it rubbed off on toshi
Who does the grocery shopping? - they go together
How often do they bake desserts? - nah lmao
Are they more of a meat lover or a salad eater? - depends on the mood. here’s to everyone being able to eat whatever they want. do so in my honor.
Who is more likely to surprise the other(s) with an anniversary dinner? - probably kat-chan lmao
Who is more likely to suggest going out? - either one but i can see them skipping fancy and expensive places for cheap and yummy
Who is more likely to burn the house down accidentally while cooking? - neither lol
Chores, in a modern au setting:
Who cleans the room? - both because this relationship is fair
Who is really against chores? - neither
Who cleans up after the pets? - both
Who is more likely to sweep everything under the rug? - if it’s an emergency, kat-chan...but he’ll go back to clean it up later XD
Who stresses the most when guests are coming over? - toshi. that’s why souji just shows up at random lmao
Who found100 yen between the couch cushions while cleaning? - kat-chan...he slipped it under the elastic of toshi’s briefs and called it a tip, to which he got a half sigh, half smile
Misc, in a modern au setting:
Who takes the longer showers/baths? - they both do so quickly but kat-chan will try to indulge toshi when they wash together
Who takes the dog out for a walk? - they’ll walk together
How often do they decorate the room/house for the holidays? - pSHT nah
What are their goals for the relationship? - kat-chan just wants toshi to be happy and healthy. toshi wants the same...and he’s also hellbent on making kat-chan prime minister one day lmao
Who is most likely to sleep till noon? - neither...unless it’s a mutual decision to not get out of bed
Who plays the most pranks? - kat-chan...but they’re just cute and silly versus souji who actively wants to create chaos in toshi’s life lol
