As an avid little nightmares enthusiast, what are your serious beliefs on the often overlooks Wax Bellman? Any theories or headcanons?

Frankly? I don't really have anything.

Don't get me wrong -- I find it very sweet that the fandom has always tried to involve him into the fan content, making him part of the crew of the Maw even though he was cut in the end. Considering how involved he was in the marketing of the game up until 2016 we have good reason to believe that the guy was also beloved by the crew; he must have been a "last second" cut.

His situation is really a sad one because it would have been awesome to have him run around in the game. Would have made the runtime longer.

HOWEVER! His presence is still tangible in the Maw, in spite of him being gone. This is something I will gladly get into: bring little details to light is something I am very fond of doing.

We see him directly in a couple of paintings owned by the Lady, both in the Residence and in her own quarters. She has a habit of keeping pictures of her employees; this is a good indicator that he was on the Maw during her reign. Might be an obvious statement, but you never know with the Maw... In all of these instances, he is found hanging by his neck; considering his jack in the box is also in a room where a Nome is swinging aggressively on a lamp attached to a long wire, the "cord around neck" part is a prominent aspect of this character.

((This is, most likely, one of the reasons why they ultimately cut him out. I cannot imagine how hard it would be to animate a guy walk around with a cord around his neck all the time. Adding to that, his face looks hard to model and keep consistent, so that's a point against him as well.))

Keeping his profession in mind, one could really call him a dog on a leash. A bellman is a person who helps the guests carry their luggage inside their place of residence and shares information about the establishment and its services. From what we can discern from the first painting, we can also see that this particular Bellman was also the one in charge of the booking and the tickets, so doing check ins and things of the like.

Generally, he'd be the one to look after the Guests more closely, which lines up with the traces of him we are left with...

You see, in the 2016 con, the Wax Bellman was shown hiding behind a two-way mirror. He could only be seen once the light was turned on, on his side of the mirror. Meaning that the two way mirror we see in LN 1 is most likely one of the places he would have resided in.

That in itself is not too obscene considering the other customs of the Maw, but the mirror is in a bathroom. And he has a chair. With toilet paper.

About Tarsier Studios, actually! This ask reminded me of something they said in regards to the Ferryman and the Wax Bellman. A few years back, LN twitter referred to the Bellman as "Ferryman"; for this reason, it was believed for a while that the two characters were either the same person, or that one replaced the other in the lore. This was confirmed to not be the case!

Ok so I wanted to fo this for a while now but ive been thinking of how I word the entire thing. I hope it makes sense and nothing contradicts itsself. Please excuse my bad writing.

⚠️Tw for Abuse/harm/blood⚠️

So here is Victor Bellman his story for my Human Ln Au:

Victor was one of 5 Children in his Family. Born in 1953 he is the youngest from his Siblings and the last child his Parents Veronica and Albert Bellman had. They were very Wealthy, had a big mansion with nannys butlers and more. They also had a big yard with pool that they could play in.

His Siblings consisted of James, Rick, William, Fabian and him. They were always spoiled by Veronica and Albert but Bellman was left out. Basicly the runt of the litter. They spoiled the other 4 but punished Victor for the smallest and dumbest reasons. When he was just 10. It was always ,,we never wanted you" or we dont care about you" or ,,you are a mistake" despite that he still tried to be polite just like he was taught. He got locked in his room. His butlers brought him food and let him out for showers and the bathroom.

In school he didnt have many friends. He was bullied for being ,,wierd" even tho he was just a well dressed, well mannered young man. Other kids also thought he was a ,,teachers pet" a few of the teachers in his school were nice to him and cared for him. When he came to school with scars or a black eye he would always be asked if everything is ok but he would say yes. If he told them they would have hurt him even more. Family members, teachers, neighbours they all knew, but Victors Parents always threatend to hurt him. He went to a diffrent school then his brothers. His grades were alright. He couldnt do any better because all of the abuse got to him or he slipped a bunch of times and got worse grades. At 16 years old he was 7 feet tall in high school. He also got exspelled from his old school because he beat up another student. That guy bullied him and he snapped. Eventho he got into a lot of trouble by that time he was so cold inside from the abuse that he didnt care about it.

He graduated from the other school when he was 19. Victor could have had a job and everything but his parents still locked him in his room and then just forgot about him. They were too focused on his brothers. All of them got a job, even thier own familys later.

Victor was only cared for by mainly Butler Regi who was there since he was little.

Now here is the thing. His parents still locked him in his room. People would ask why he didnt just escape trough a window or sneak out? They were cameras everywhere in the house and in his yard. Plus he didnt dare to try.

The torment continued. Sometimes they would just beat him for fun. That included cutting with knifes, belts, with fists and one time a Machete right in his shoulder. The wound got badly infected since he wasnt even allowed to go to the hospital. After a while he couldnt move that arm anymore. He was covered in blood too. His Parents told everyone that he had died in a horrible accident.

With the age of 20 Victor got locked into his room and was forgotten up until he waa

Victor had to stay in the hospital for a good month. The infection from his shoulder spread more and because so much more. After his release he still has to go to a psychologist. Even tho he doesnt want to. He also got himself a job as a bellhop in a hotel that an agency offered him. He thought it was interesting so he took it.

There he has younger coworkers around him between the ages of 20 and 30. He was a bit fond of them and didnt like them at first. But after a while they got to meet each other a bit closer and became friends with each other.

A year later he met Roger who had to stay at the hotel because his house got burned down. They both didnt like each other at first . But just like his Coworkers he had to know him better. what do you know they became friends and later fell in love with one another.

So he did have a somewhat happy end but still his Past will haunt him for ever. As for his Parents since there was more then enough evidence and so many witnesses they both got a life sentence.

Now I want to end the entire story with a small fact:

The entire time Victor was locked in his room he wrote a diary that he even considered publishing. But he scraped that idea since names were mentioned, alot of very private things were in it and he thought about if it was morally ok to do it. He still hasnt decided.

Also some random little nightmares thoughts I've been having too ig! (these r all mostly rhetorical questions but if ppl wanna drop theories u can I love hearing them :] )

- what the fuck was up w the Shoe Monster. Like genuinely what the hell is it. Why is it in the shoe room. How r there so many shoes there anyway??? They're too big 2 b kids shoes how many guests have that had???? Does everyone know the monster is in there???? Wtf???

- Why r there photos of the Teacher in the Maw btw. Like in-universe why??? Is she close 2 the Lady or something?? Is teaching considered very important in the LN world??

- speaking of The Teacher literally no one's mentioned the fact she's probably a Rokurokubi. Like we already got japanese influences from the Lady herself The Teacher literally exactly fits what a Rokurokubi is but I usually see ppl say her neck it long like that bc of the broadcasts? Which wouldn't make sense anyways she's literally one of the only characters w a face

- also what the hell was up w Mono. Like genuinely how does he have these reality bending powers???? Where'd he come from???? We just see him come of a TV where was he going??

- not a question I just think the Bellhop needs more content. Yes he isn't even in the game nd is a scrapped character but I care him sm

- also w both the theories that Girl in the Yellow Raincoat is the Lady's daughter nd The Pretender is The Teachers daughter. Cannot stop thinking Abt these together they both died bc of each other and the Lady nd Teacher definitely have 2 know each other. Not only does the Teacher lose her daughter she also probably losses someone she cared Abt nd maybe loved nd u can choose 2 kill the Doctor too nd she doesn't have rlly anyone else in the city she knows 😭 she's alooone

- I wanted 2 make this next one happier but god the nomes r so gd depressing. Like there all most definitely kids. Every single one u find there all just little scared kids who have 2 work together nd they just draw stuff and work together nd 😭😭

- ok now a happier one. Just a small one idk why I always found one of the chefs going out 4 a smoke so funny. Like the idea of the freaky little monster in a world full of hypnotic tvs just casually waking up nd going 2 smoke is so good

Sooo, I have this LN au but it’s more HAPPY and LIVELY and also a little sad. So let me explain and hopefully you will probably like it:

Very little nightmares

In very little nightmares Six used to live in Metronome city but was kidnapped by the north wind and taken to the nest. The Pretender lives in the mansion with her butlers and servants, her mother on a business trip and her father hanging in the depths of the maw. She is in family with the lady, both immortal and royalty. The lady is the pretender’s mums sister which makes the lady her aunt. One day, the Pretender received a gift from the mainland, a 10 year old girl with a yellow raincoat and a brown ponytail named Megan. As soon as the Pretender saw her she knew that she loved her but she knew that if her mother came back she would kill her. So she keeps her secret in a dairy. Megan finds Six and shows her that there is more to life than surviving. She teaches her about friendship and they were best friends until one time, Megan’s kindness killed her. She wanted to help the Pretender even though she knew what was going to happen she said “It is the right thing to do” Six watched her fall to her death with the mistress into the ocean. Six ran to the ocean but could only find her raincoat, no Megan. She took it on in honor of her without knowing that she was still alive and still out there. Six hated monsters, every single one of them ever since that day. The Pretender saved Megan because she was still in love with her and just couldn’t hide it. Megan woke up in the nest and found the Pretender sitting on the bench, she looks back at Megan but doesn’t attack. Megan walks up to her and sits down, (Are you okay? It’s alright) She pats her softly. They talked for minutes but it felt like forever. The Pretender couldn’t hide her love at all, that day was the luckiest day of her life. Six hated monsters and demons, she made a wooden boat and sailed back to the Metronome city. She was cold and scared but she had to find the orphanage, then the ferryman comes and takes to the maw. The home of monsters...

Little nightmares

Six and the ferryman sailed to the maw, a man with a melted face and a red suit greeted him, took Six and thanked him. Six was taken to the depths of the maw, she thought that it was going to be horrible and lonely but it wasn’t at all, at least sometimes. Six became friends with almost all of the kids there, she was especially close to Eight, a 10 year old girl with black hair and a yellow/white dress and Seven, a 10 year old boy with brown hair and blue clothes. Seven treated Six like his little sister and Eight treated her like her little sister too. Only 2 days later Six almost escaped the maw until she heard singing, “Her” singing. Six was in the lady’s quarters now, she walked up to the stairs and into the room. There she was, the lady. She was singing and brushing her long hair until she bursted in tears. Six walked closer to her and softly said (Hey...) The lady gasped and turned around. Six didn’t know what else to say but she knew that she was sad so she just wanted to say something to make her feel better. (I heard you singing, it was nice! You sing nice.) Six smiles. The lady stays silent until she walks closer to her and crouched to her level. (You really think so?...) The lady asks. (Absolutely beautiful!) Six says in a proud voice. (Could you sing some more, please?) Six asks. The lady was almost about to respond until a loud noise came through the door, it was bellhop. (M-My lady! I am- I am so sorry for this! Come here you little, Child!) Bellhop grabs Six and looks at the lady, (I am so sorry for this!) He bows down for forgiveness. The lady stands silent until she asks, (Will you let me know when the other kids are going to eat? When they are done, take her to me. Bellhop.) She requested. (Yes, my lady.) Bellhop bows again and walks out the door. On their way to the depths, bellhop says (You brat, why did you disturb her?! She is probably going to kill you now!) Six looks at him angrily.

I DIDNT disturb her at all! It looks like it was YOU! Since she is YOUR lady then YOU should make sure she is okay

She is usually like that, don’t pay any mind to that

Six crosses her arms and looks the other way. They reach the lair and bellhop gives her to Roger. (Where have you been, young lady? And why was bellhop so mad?) He asks. (I need to eat first and then I have to go somewhere AND then I can tell you!) Six says as she is put down and walks to the dinner table with the other kids. Everyone was talking and asking Six where she was, it was normal for the other kids to see Six go off and come back for hours so they didn’t really care that much. They were done eating so all the other kids went off and played. Six didn’t say anything as she walked up the the lady’s quarters using the vent system this time, hopefully not meeting bellhop again. She walked out the same time she came in and walked inside, there she was. Ever since that day, Six actually became really close to the lady and was almost like a daughter to her. There was just one problem, the lady was a soul eater and Six was a human so in order to take care of Six... Six had to become what she was, the daughter of a demon and a child of monsters. The worst of all was that Six couldn’t leave and wouldn’t be alowed to leave the maw even if she was an adult, because she needed the lady’s help. Six had a hunger that was unbearable and a dark version of herself that taunted her every time she had the chance, the lady always said that “I had to go through the same thing” She said to her.

But the lady, scared for the kids safety, she would do anything to keep the kids in the maw, even if it meant to turn them into nomes... One day, Six found out about everything that was going on. The reason why kids went missing, why the kids weren’t alowed to go up. They were food to the monsters. Six told Eight and Seven about it, they agreed to meet at the lady’s quarters but of course it didn’t go as well as they thought... Eight was killed off and Seven was killed by Six. She didn’t realize this until shadow Six told her about it when they were on top of the maw. After Six consumed the lady, Six looked over the dark blue waves. Seven has learned her how to swim and used to make jokes that Six would be able to swim across the sea, she knew that it was just a joke and that the she would probably drown. She didn’t really have a choice at this point, it was leave or not. So, she jumped into the water. The waves where pulling her underwater and shoving her up and down until this one wave came over her, she blacked out.

Six then awoke in a shore near a dark forest. She looked around herself and looked at herself, her raincoat was gone. She panicked and looked around herself, that was the only reminder of Megan. She means so much to her because she taught her about friendship and was her BFF, her only friend. Then a loud branch noise came from in front of her, it was a man with a green jacket, brown pants, brown boots and a potato sack over him with a old cap. He was holding a shotgun and a sack, he stayed quiet for a few seconds until he layed down his gun and got on his one knee and reached out his hand, Six didn’t feel so threatened now so she stepped closer to him. Just as she was about to take his hand he grabbed her quickly and stacked her into the sack.

I am remaking the cover from a Nightmares journey

Yet I am figuring out how to draw the ferryman

You see, I want to remake my LN fanfic because I decided to not really like it.

Back then when I made the fanfic it was in the first half a roleplay together with @ask-tiny-three and myself

I was heartbroken and upset by my former friends who ditched me vack then. The heart broken state about "arnold" last a year long. Now I am cringing really bad at the story I made.

Then I also shipped myself and the artist (who is named now alira) with chef1/cecil. Since I am shipping the artist with the Bellhop/Maxwell. I can make that cecil gets a interest in me but nothing more.

ALSO

In the remake there will come the characters from very little nightmares aswell. So the butler and the Craftsman will take roles aswell.

Hello, I wanted to ask if you were accepting little nightmares requests? I have an idea I wanted to ask for with an original character of mine and maybe the bellhop or roger?

Of course! I’m always open for requests, I’ve just done a really bad job at letting people know that I am happy to do them. 

So I guess now is the best time to let people know that I am open for Little Nightmares requests; all I ask is that people don’t request anything that may seem inappropriate- I’m fine with a bit blood though, because LN already has a bit of that in it.

One more side note; these are most likely all going to be black and white, if I put effort into colouring them then they are going to take longer to do.

Random thought aka. the thousandth post I make today cause I have no life

I still sometimes have my brain randomly call back my old headcanon with the bellhop being adopted and raised by the janitor till age 18. It's such an old thing and I usually forget these but, heck, I can't help but imagine these adorable scenarios from when he was young and just frisked around the janitor pretending to be his right hand man and ughhhh it's one of the only things that manage to melt my stone cold heart ;^;

I'd so draw more on it, but I feel like people really don't care any more about, I dunno, my weird LN crap-- I just... I have no idea.

Deviantart somehow puts this pressure on me and makes me feel like I have to be very careful with what I post, cause it's a "community for artists", not for messing around.

I wish I could just move everything from my DA on my Tumblr and then post all the random crap I want.

I wonder why I still feel judged in a place that's giving you anonymity especially for doing whatever you want. I just trailed all the way beside the point here.

So yeah, that headcanon, it's killing me slowly on the inside and I gotta sometime do something about it. I feel like I haven't done it justice.

Another AU. The “Housewife” AU! BEST SITCOM!XD Here, I’ll explain with the roles of the characters before I post any more of this AU!:

Servant (Emily): Roger’s wife. Housewife. too sorry and lazy to get a job.

Roger: Husband. Works as a janitor at the elementary school. Is a bit old-fashioned and believes men are superior. Well what are ya gonna do? (Emily doesn’t argue with him because she doesn’t work and he does.)

Caige: child. Goes to the same elementary school that his dad works at.

Urkwin: goat. Usually stays outside but is allowed inside on occasion. House trained.

Lady: Emily’s Aunt. EVIL AUNT THAT SCARES EVERYONE. STRICT AND STILL A BITCH

Girl next to the lady in that one picture: I’m naming her Missy because I can’t come up with a better name and her mother calls her that often. The Lady’s daughter. She’s quiet and a bit petty.

The Lady’s flock: still her friends. Still their usual selves for the most part.

The Granny: Roger’s mother.

The Bellhop: mailman. Walks down the street with bag in hand.

Ferryman: neighbor that’s the farthest away. Pretty antisocial for some reason. Sticks to his own business.

Six: Evil next-door child. Ron’s older sister.

Runaway (Ron): precious next-door child. Six’s younger brother.

Chef brothers: neighbors across the road. Make the best food and usually have outdoor cooking parties that everyone loves.

Three boys from the second comic: local bullies. Emily and the Lady get on to them often.

Other comic kids: students at the elementary school.

Nomes: hide out between houses. Have their own little society and are usually played with by the kids.
