Guys! I finally decided to make an Instagram dedicated to posts about my boyfriend and I navigating through the ups and downs of learning to become better beekeepers! We started in the spring of 2020 which became a great hobby to have as the pandemic began and changed life as we knew it. I will be doing my best to document and educate on what goes into caring for our precious honeybees! Please feel free to follow us and share with others if you like! Our instagram is Gear Garden Honeybees (@gear_garden) I've included a sample of some pictures on our insta already. More to come if you follow us!

Does anyone know of somewhere in the east or north Toronto area where I can buy local unpasteurized honey?
I am dying for some good honey. I just ran out of my wildflower honey I bought at an out-of-town country market last year.
I looked at Bee Local 416 but it's like $10 shipping to order honey from hives I could bus to in 10 minutes, but they don't actually sell the honey in person from there, I'd have to go downtown to pick it up. I don't want to spend 3+ total hours on public transit to buy honey.
So help me out friends - where can I get good honey in or near Scarborough or North York?

We never talked too much,
But she held me in the dark.
And the time used to stop in her hands.
I could feel her go hesitant,
When it rained in Manhattan.
We took shelter in a spare room at the Grand.
And she calls me baby,
Like an old romantic.
But it's hard, when you're hurt
To let somebody in again.
And there's a slow song playing,
From a baby blue Mercedes.
Singing ""when I get to heaven,
There will be no more hard feelings.

The hubby bought me some local honey today. I love that I can ask him for things and he provides. Truly I am so blessed.

If your area has a farmers' market, then one of the best ways to connect with the land is to go there and buy locally made honey. Ingesting local honey helps acclimate your body to the local flora and can therefore decrease the severity of seasonal allergies. This is also an opportunity to form relationships with your community's makers and growers.
My body reacts badly to cotton, and I live in an area surrounded by fields of the stuff, so I always go to the stall with a man who sells cotton honey. I started taking honey in my morning coffee around four years ago, and while it did take a few months, I did start to see a difference in my allergies.
Honey has been renowned since ancient times as a powerful anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and antibacterial treatment as well. It is one of the essentials I always keep stocked in my personal apothecary.

Did you know I can’t have milk? When I have milk I get sick, EVERY SINGLE time!
Well hearing all of these who have been trying to accomplish things more naturally with their fertility and balance their hormones, I decided it was time to try raw milk
I went yesterday and bought my first gallon of raw milk!
I made a glass of Chocolate Milk yesterday!
No side effects! Didn’t get sick or anything!
Hoping a glass a day will help with my vitamins!
I also bought local honey as well to help boost my immune system!
Keep following to see you’re my journey is going!
