some stuff about the curitiba show :)

when the roadies were setting up the stage, one of them soundchecked alex's mic, and a few minutes later another roadie came with wipes and sanitized the mic and the stand, which i thought was very nice and important

no mirrorballs in sight :( not even when they were setting up the stage

something that i forgot to mention in the primavera são paulo post: the song they've chosen to enter the stage to these past shows is tom jones's it's not unusual which is jfnjfvnjfvnjvn so funny for some reason

hearing sculptures live and as the first song on the set is still one of the best experiences i've had in my life (twice!!!). the instrumentals are impeccable, you can feel the bass, the drums and the synth in your whole body (not just the chest, which is my favorite part) and alex's voice is intoxicating. the gasp is still unbelievable and made me light-headed lol

when alex walked out i got pretty disappointed that he was wearing the same outfit that he did in primavera, but as the show went on i started to think that he didn't, bc i started to see that now in curitiba his blazer was black whereas in primavera it was blue. now i'm not so sure nvjfnjngj i think it really was the same blazer, the black one. lighting is crazy

alex was having some kind of trouble with his in-ear monitors, he kept taking them out and putting them back in. at first i thought it was bc he wanted to hear the crowd sing along, but then i realized that he kept gesturing to the crew on the wings of the stage to adjust the sound (by pointing at his mic than up, at matt than down, etc)

it was a bit chilly in curitiba by the time the show started (like 12ºC i think) and, bc of the dry ice on stage, you could see alex's breath coming out of his mouth when he sang. i thought that was just so cool. def an imagine that is forever engraved in my mind

hearing the entire crowd shout HA in that part in body paint was awesome

during 505 alex kept going HUH very emphatically every few lines for some fucking reason lol it didn't annoy my bc this was my third time seeing this song live and for me that sure made it very memorable but i'm sure that for the poor people experiencing it for the first time it must've been really jarring fnvjfvnjgbn

will forever and ever be trying to come to terms with the fact that they've could've played opp instead of 4/5 and fireside instead of the car but they didn't :( (i love 4/5 and the car but i had seen them in primavera already) wish i could've experienced that's where you're wrong live too :(

he walked on stage for the encore after the rest of the band in the nick of time again, just in time to help "guide" matt through the stabs before the main part of the song and to start singing on his cue

during mirrorball, when he sang the "for the moment when you look them in the eyes" line, he chose someone in the crowd to lock eyes with and stared at them for a good 20 seconds, and the crowd lost their colective minds lol. in the moment i thought that person must've Died but then the next day i found out that the person was the girl who met them in the hotel in rio de janeiro. i saw that she posted on instagram that he was trying to read the sign she'd brought. i messaged her and now we're friendly with each other lol

during r u mine alex kept glancing up at the sky and i'm pretty sure he was looking at the lightning, it started to rain the Second the show ended

he only said "obrigado" a few times but something in portuguese that he did say that surprised me a Lot (a lot) was "OIEEE" bc. for non-portuguese speakers: "oie" is Such a casual hi it's crazy. it's basically a "hiii <3" vfnkdmkjfg how does he know that who even taught him that how did that even come up vfkmdckfjgn he did it like two or three times, and i lost it in each one lol

he didn't walk around the stage so much as i was used to him doing when i saw them live in lolla 2019 and now in primavera, but he seemed very relaxed and happy and smiled a lot, thanked the crowd a bunch and threw a lot of kisses at us and stuff

after the show ended i stuck around and started screaming at the crew on stage to give me the setlist but when like over 5 of them had shrugged and smiled apologetically at me as if to say they couldn't, i decided it was time to give up lol (no one from the crowd ended up getting it, which made me feel better)

Still high AF on the GREAT Jung Hoseok

And I wasn’t even there.  I was just streaming, but you can feel the palpable energy the GREAT Jung Hoseok (sorry, will be calling Hobi this whenever Lolla 2022 is discussed) was expending through the screen. I mean I had my mouth open most of his performance and even caught my self shaking my head a couple of times because I was just gobsmacked with the way he ate that stage. 

I knew Hobi will deliver a killer set. He is such a total performer and he is part of BTS so you know he will give you a performance you will never forget for a long time. 

But even with these expectations, I was still stunned by how goddamn exceptional he is. It was such a privilege to witness his debut performance as a solo artist, and I will forever nurse this jealousy that I was not there to witness it huhuhu.

And JITB was a great album. I still listen to it every day.  But it was a whole different level when he performed the tracks live. Just shows how he really conceptualize the album. What. An. Artist. Anyway, here are some of my fave snaps from the  GREAT Jung Hoseok ‘s Lolla performance.

Dressing TXT in Dior SS24 Womens Collection

as a reminder, this is what TXT wore to the 2023 MAMA red carpet:

save for taehyun and yeonjun (if only the clothing were altered to fit him better 😩), their outfits don’t really seem impressive enough for a red carpet event. the fabrics are stiff and the color palette is dull.

it’s a shame they skipped on the other accessories/details from the mens resort collection bc it could have added more visual interest to their outfits! and they could have gone for the more colorful pieces from the line so they wouldn’t look so washed out ☹️

that said, why not imagine if txt wore pieces from the dior women’s collections too 🤔

like… i can see yeonjun in these!! emphasizes his long legs and his nonchalant persona (albeit not exactly the most impressive for a red carpet appearance for an awards show, i think it'd still garner a lot of attention *cough 2022 AMAs Yeonjun*)

I think these jackets/vests would suit Hueningkai. He has the frame for it and he looks pretty good in black. Him in black lace is always going to be legendary so they could use a similar fabric combo for red carpet styling!

I can see Beomgyu in the outfit on the left (but maybe swap out the dress for similarly printed separates if a dress would be too "out there") , while the outfit on the right could suit taegyu (combo of the leather jacket and sheer, textured fabrics 😩)!!

soobin could totally pull off the pussybow top and the printed coat!!! he has the build for these dramatic elements, mixed in with the softer fabrics and prints

the fringe jacket/details could suit soobin too, imo. the sheer details from both these outfits/tops could also suit taehyun (similar vibe to his outfit today) 🤔

ok it's a little visually boring for txt and not exactly a red carpet outfit but i think soogyu could kill in this last outfit as it draws attention to their waist

imo, dior is not exactly the most ideal fashion house for txt as the former tends to lean towards stiffer, more geometric silhouttes and relatively muted palettes (can you believe these are all from their SPRING/SUMMER 2024 collection??), which could be a visual mismatch for txt (the first set of lolla 2023 outfits looked so out of place for a rock festival 🥲)

that said, i think if they had a little more freedom in styling the pieces from the entire dior catalogue (mens and womens), it could be more on brand!!

I just got into BTS this past month and was wondering if you had recommendations or favorite Jhope (and overall BTS) content/videos to check out for a complete beginner! his lollapalooza set can be watched in full here, which u might have already seen, but for an added bonus u can listen to his albums hope world + jack in the box, THEN watch his lolla set to really get a feel for how he brings his songs to life while performing them. his music is great but for me his true stardom lies in his performance and stage presence and hobipalooza will tell u everything u need to know about jhope as a performer 🥹🤩

i know no one asked for this but i have Thoughts about my favorite hair colors for yeonjun

black: I HAVE MY URL FOR A REASON!! he just looks sooooo classically handsome in black hair and it makes my heart flutter 🥰 but it's super versatile too, depending on how you style it and how you style the rest of his outfit he can also look cute and boyish or sexy in a bad boy way! you can never go wrong with black hair honestly! personally i really like his long hair from the early part of the act sweet mirage tour but his current short hairstyle and his undercut hairstyle also look great.

pink: ok so in my mind there are two (2) pink hair yeonjun eras, the bubblegum pink one from blue hour and the light faded rose one from lolla 2023 / act sweet mirage 2nd asia leg. i love both of them for different reasons: bubblegum pink is fun and playful and defies gender norms in every way, light rose is soft and elegant but can also be a tad bit rebellious. i have a slight preference for the light rose, though that might be because that was his hair color when i saw him live this year!

blue: like pink hair yeonjun, we have two eras for this: tdc magic era and lolla 2022 / act lovesick era. i wasn't a moa during tdc magic era so i'm not entirely sure what shade of blue his hair was back then, sometimes it looks more blue other times it looks more teal?? in any case i definitely prefer lolla 2022 era blue, though that might also be because i think the haircut is more flattering + yeonjun's overall look matured more during this time. tdc magic blue is very playful and whimsical while lolla 2022 blue is more rebellious and cool!

blonde/black mix: HONESTLY this one is my second fave color on him after black! and one some days it gives black a run for its money haha. anyway i was surprised by how good this looks in any context -- like this was his gbgb era hair so it evokes that bad boy image, but this was also his hair in the midsummer photoshoot where it has that golden summery vibe! i think the combination of two naturally occurring hair colors keeps it down to earth and versatile for any style while still being visually interesting.

anyway these are my fave hair colors for yeonjun! i'm actually curious about what other people's fave colors for him are, or if your txt bias is someone else, what your fave hair colors for him are!

omg ur recent soobin post! he is so emotional and intense and complex and it makes me feel so much better about myself lmao bc i always feel like i have to like..tone myself down for other people. or that im too much or too emotional or ~complicated~ for ppl. but seeing someone like soobin being himself makes me feel happy :,)

I feel the same way! I am really loud and extroverted and deeply emotional (enfp + libra lol) and so I think what I love so much about him is that he is introverted but still expresses himself and gives us glimpses into himself. I feel like in ways idols or just performers in general don't always do

like, something that really stands out to me is when he said that he felt bad because he was the only member who didn't have a good time during lolla 2022. that was super emotional for me as a moa who went to lolla 2022 and was gearing up for lolla 2023. and it's extremely vulnerable of him to share that!! like, he put himself at risk of potentially hurting fans that went to 2022 and also like, let people know that right before they performed again, as headliners. and I understand why he was so scared and why he didn't have the best time and I'll never hold that against him but I so very much admire him for feeling brave enough to say how he felt :,)

like, idk I really just feel like he's a really sensitive guy and I think it makes him who is is as a person and as an idol and the leader of txt. and I'm so proud and filled with emotion when I get to hear him speak from the heart

he balances his roles well and I've only been a moa for about 2.5 years now but getting to see him + the other members grow and learn about what they've been proud of has been something that brings me a lot of happiness

There were rumors that Joe and Maika broke up because of cheating but then I heard recently she said that they had been broken up and seeing other people before they came public about the breakup so im not sure why people are saying Joe cheated
