There was nothing better than feeling the worry melt away like butter in a hot pan every time you caught a glimpse of Quinn from the corner of your eye or heard a noise echoing through your home.

Whether it was just spurting curses for stubbing his toe against the coffee table or hearing the echoes of his talks to Rory on Facetime, it was enough to remind you he was home and safe.

When you got used to Quinn’s absence, it was fairly common to unintentionally forget he was back.

He didn’t take any offense by it; he understood the adapting period better than anyone including you. Now, with the pandemic, you were forced to work from home and it was good. Ensured your safety and income all the while helping you adapt quicker to Quinn’s return. But there were other factors you had to adapt to and one of them was business video calls.

Getting out of bed was already hard enough to do. Seeing him beautifully wrapped in your love-stained sheets begging for you to resume the matinal erotic playtime you had just finished indulging in certainly didn’t make it any easier.

He spent such much time away on lengthy military operations in some corner of the world that would probably take you a little while to locate on a map.

Your giant boyfriend doesn’t reply; you can hear him chuckling as he walks over to grab your empty mug and fill it with the hot beverage just the way he knows you prefer.

Sat at the other side of the table, Quinn quietly eats his breakfast while catching up with the news on his phone although he can’t really seem to concentrate on any article.

His eyes kept drifting back to you like a magnet unable to resist the pull, subconsciously wanting to make sure you’re really there; that he’s not imagining it like he has before. However, it doesn’t take a genius to see you were beyond bored and trying your best to not seem as uninterested just like your fellow co-workers.

He wanted to do something to cheer you and he thought of the perfect thing to amuse you.

You could tell he had a dirty thought in mind by the way he stared at you, lent back lazily in his chairs letting his eyes eat you up like the night before when you were riding him into bliss.

A flush of heat shot up to your cheeks as you tried to remain the calm facade for the camera when you caught his large body slipping underneath the table.

Judging from the way his eyes darken, you know it can’t be good.

As his large frame slips down under the table, you begin anxiously squirming in your chair wondering what he’s up to.

It’s only when his lips press against your thigh that you realize he’s got an appetite for something else.

You have to glue your eyes to your notes as you hear yourself stuttering during your turn of the presentation. The son of a gun picked the worst moment to go down on you, but you want him so bad.

He knows you do and he asserts that his hands wrap around just below your knees and jerk you towards him, forcing your legs to spread open for his hungry mouth.

You, my friend, are the only thing on the menu now. Ain’t no running from him now – not that you would if you could.

Your eyes close for a moment when his warm wet lips latch onto you. You try to play it off like you’re trying to remember all the issues you had to discuss with the team and so far, you seem to be doing a great job at it. But he knows you better.

He knows you’re struggling to keep calm by the way your fingers rake his hair and the hitch he hears in your voice which you try to mask by clearing your throat. Your mind tells you to focus, but your body betrays you and expands to welcome his broad silhouette.

When his hands join in on the action, your posture instantly straightens and the volume of your voice increases just a tad. If your co-workers could hear the wet squelches of your embarrassing wetness, you don’t think you could ever show your face at work.

Quinn has an innate talent to think ahead – probably due to his position in the military forces – so he limits his movements to a slow pace.

You assume it’s to avoid loud noises, but you’re almost sure it’s purely to tease you. You crave that friction, the roughness of his long fingers handling your sex like he owned it.

4x01 | Starting SAVA

Description: Andi tries to find her place at SAVA. Meanwhile, Buffy and Cyrus adjust to not having Andi around during school. Bex and Bowie contemplate their future.

Based on my Andi Mack Season 4 episode descriptions

...

The episode starts with Andi standing nervously outside of SAVA by herself. She looks to her side for reassurance from her best friends, forgetting for a second that they aren’t there. Across town at Grant High School, Buffy and Cyrus look toward the space between them the same way.

Andi is determined to make a good impression and have a perfect first day of high school. Unfortunately, this plan goes off the rails when she knocks into someone in the hallway, causing their art project to crash to the floor into pieces. She tries to help the other girl pick up her project and put it back together, but she just ends up making it worse. The bell rings, and the girl glares at her and says, “Thanks a lot,” as she finishes gathering the broken pieces of her art, not listening as Andi attempts to apologize. Now, Andi has a feeling she just made her first enemy.

Meanwhile, at Grant High School, Buffy, Cyrus, and Jonah are overwhelmed by the crowded, massive school, getting lost on the way to their lockers. Luckily, Amber is there to rescue them and show them all the ins and outs of Grant High School. Jonah and Buffy are skeptical for help from Amber at first, but Cyrus is thankful and eager for her guidance. // (”You all have a lot to learn. First, always avoid the main hall if possible. The best vending machine is the one upstairs at the end of C-Hall because it always gives out freebies. And finally, beware of the cafeteria, especially on Wednesdays. // “What happens on Wednesdays?” Buffy asks skeptically. // Amber shakes her head. “Just don’t eat the specialty meat under any circumstances, and make sure you’re always in the left-hand line.”) // Nobody really has any clue what she’s talking about for the most part.

Andi is late to her first class at SAVA, leading to everyone starting at her as she runs in a few minutes late. Thankfully, the teacher doesn’t seem to mind. Andi goes to take the only spot left in the classroom, double taking when she realizes that the person sitting next to her is a very familiar face: Walker. Despite their history, she’s glad that she knows at least one person in the whole school. After class, Walker promises to show her around a bit more because he’s familiar with the school since his siblings went there before him.

Back at the Mack household, Bex worries about Andi’s first day of school. She waits by the front door right before Andi is ready to return. She’s worried because she doesn’t want to lose her connection with Andi like what happened with her and Cece. Bowie attempts to reassure her, reminding her how amazing Andi is and how well she’ll do.

Cyrus, Buffy, Jonah, and TJ face the wrath of the cafeteria. Although Cyrus is disappointed at the lack of chocolate-chocolate chip muffins, his boyfriend TJ (technically his boyfriend, although they aren’t out to anyone except their friends) made one special for him for the first day of school as a surprise.

Besides for Walker, Andi meets a really nice girl named Makenna in the library as well as another girl in her class who is just as passionate as she about crafts named Elsie. Although the day started out not so great, by the end of her first day at SAVA, things are looking up for Andi.

At the end of the school day at Grant High School they have an involvement fair for the freshmen to get a sense of what they may want to do. Buffy and Marty find each other in the crowd and hold hands as they go check out all the sports booths. Jonah looks interested in baseball, which TJ urges him to at least take a pamphlet. No one can keep up with Cyrus, who is grabbing free pamphlets and pens from nearly every table (except for any that have to do with athleticism, of course). // “Are you really thinking of joining some of these clubs? I mean, Gamer’s Club? You hate video games!” TJ comments, looking through Cyrus’s array of pamphlets. // “Hey, you never know! Maybe I’d end up being the best Gamer of them all!” // They also learn that Amber is the president of the school’s chess club.

Finally, Andi returns after her first day only to get bombarded by Bex asking questions about her first day. // (”How was it? Did you make any friends? How were your classes? Was it everything you hoped and dreamed of?! I can’t believe my daughter is a highschooler!” // “Mom, it was only the first day!” ) // She promises that it was good, making them feel relieved. They all sit down together to have dinner as a family. Bex looks around and realizes how much she loves their family. She meets eyes with Bowie across the table as they listen to Andi ramble about her classes.

The episode ends with Andi putting up a free little banner she got at school that says SAVA in Andi Studio. She smiles as she looks around the nearly empty space, wondering how it will change in the coming years. Finally, she looks at the pictures of her, Buffy, and Cyrus hung up. She traces her hands over them. Some things will never change.

That guy in no uncertain terms acts loathsome towards Rapha and even Marach once you think about it. I won’t spoil the story if you’ve never played Tactics in either form but... ugh. Gross. Get him out of here.

26. FANDOM THAT YOU WERE ONCE A PART OF BUT AREN’T ANY LONGER: that would have to be Harry Potter. I rode on the craze wave back in junior high/high school, but once I left high school and went to college my love... kind of dimmed. I can’t tell you if it’s because Rowling’s writing has fallen off majorly or because my interests simply changed.

craziest year of my life

I made the video but there is way too much to say to only write you a couple paragraphs. I think about you so much and you are in every part of my life, more importantly, always, always in my heart wherever I am. I am not even sure where to start! I feel like I've already said just about everything I can in the cliché book of words, I think you could second that. I think you'll always have a piece of my heart, wherever I may be in life. I think I might always come back to me and you doing the things we love and all the habits and memories we've built and we will continue to grow. This perfect Best friend, in love, relationship, will always be tucked away in my heart somewhere.

Being a part of your Grad season has been so special for me to see and I don't think you'll quite understand that but I wanted you to know. On those days it was nothing but fun but every time I got a second to myself during those few weeks I found that I was profusely grateful for the things we’ve done and been through to get us to these beautiful days that I will keep in my heart for a long time. I've loved every night that I got to take you out to these 'never ending' Grad parties and I loved picking you up all drunk, it may be on my list of top 10 things I love the most actually. You are somewhere up there of course. It's my turn next year so get ready.

I really wish you could see the growth I've seen from you over the last year. At first I knew Grade 11 Cole, I already said this in the video but, short hair, did not talk loud enough, asked about every detail, shy. Anyways, I've loved you since then, and I knew I would. Then as time went on I got to see you start your senior year and season with your team which was so cool for me, I'm not sure why but it was just the best trying to rush around my busy schedule trying to make all your games I could and yes, I am still upset I missed the buzzer beater, yes, you are so cool and no, I don't fully understand the term “buzzer beater” but ill act like I do. Then I knew the guy who cared for me and knew me. In ways I never wanted anyone to see, you took my craziness with such grace, tucking me into bed, quite literally wiping my tears:), and reminding me everyday that I am perfect and never need to change for anything. You really, truly have helped me in ways I don't think either of us understand yet.

You've adapted to every single one of my seasons, i've truly changed in extreme ways and I am totally not the same person you met a year ago and I couldn't imagine how tough it is, i am so proud of you and so, so blessed to be able to brag about you and to be in your life. You gave me so much confidence, finally a kid that I like, Makenna, that is. You gave me new friends, (Annas the best one) funny ones, they humble me for sure. I know my purpose when it comes to joke making now. I respect it though.

It would take me too long to name every special thing you've added to my life and to explain everything you make me feel. You've set the bar so high for any man in my life and I love you so. damn. Much.

And all these words still hold true and I trust that they always will.

You two were friends forever,and do everything together. You're bored at 3am? Come over and smoke a bowl and listen to music with Connor. You want to complain about homework? Connor. You just learned something new? Bet your ass that Connor will be your outlet to rant to.

You're the one who introduced Connor to video games. He thought they were stupid for the longest time, but now he is totally guilty of misusing the extra key you had made for him to just go over to your house while youre gone to play video games since he doesnt have a console yet.

Connor actually asked you out super abruptly. Nothing about Connor screams "smooth in romance" so it was literally when you were done eating your 15th nugget of the night, mid movie in his college dorm when he asked you. He just blurted it out was like "I like you. wanna date." And you just say "yeah sure" and eat your 16th nugget

Chasing Your Chances Prologue

On Bluebell Row in Ashwick Wharf, there are fifteen houses. On the outside, all the houses are exactly the same.

Two stories with a basement and a garage, made out of brick, with four windows on each floor, a brown driveway and a black mailbox.

Every single one of them.

But inside, with all the different people, no two houses are alike.

Number one belongs to Marianne Russel and Marianne Russel alone, at least for now.

She has one spare bedroom and one room that's supposed to be a spare bedroom but ended up becoming a shoe room, filled bottom to top with shoes and boots of all kinds and colors, straps and strapless, buttons and laces, anything and everything anyone could possibly imagine. And yet she manages to buy at least one new pair a month. Although her shoe room is her happy place, her kitchen is her home. She owns Bluehill Diner, her pride and joy, birthplace to the best baked goods in town, only serving the very best of her creations that have been through several dozen test runs and taste tests, both by her alone and with Addie Thomas, her best friend and designated guinea pig.

Number two is owned by Addie Thomas and Addie Thomas alone, but it's inhabited by not only Addie, but Winn Brooks and Clara Brown-Murphy. They each have their own room, Addie with her dance shoes hanging off her Tae Kwon Do belt holder that's surrounded by flowers and the centerpiece of a pristine room, Winn has a very neat, clean room, except for one corner that's covered in paper and pencils and paint and brushes and charcoal and any art tools he, or his parents, could get his, or their, hands on and Clara has a messily clean room, everything with a place and in its place, including her extensive collection of books sprawled across her floor and furniture, it just so happens that no one besides her can find anything.

Number three is owned by Lucy Carter's grandmother, but Lucy and her cousin, Adria, are staying in it during their gap year, with all the plans in the world to move out and either travel or go to college next year, but life has a funny way of changing plans. Like the rest of the Row Houses, there's three bedrooms on the second floor and one in the basement, but Adria and Lucy ended up sharing the master bedroom, anyways. It had the necessities, but the main decorations, the main spirit of the home, was in the kitchen. They weren't good at cooking, far from it actually. If Marianne and her culinary school, bakery-owning eyes ever saw one of their concoctions, she might just cry. Some of their concoctions made them cry. But some didn't. And those some were enough to keep trying, keep experimenting, keep staying up past midnight dancing in their underwear as they cook and bake and try to not burn the house down.

Number four is inhabited by Hetty, the police chief, her husband, Adam, the local doctor. Adam has a daughter and a son, Helaine and Elijah, from his first wife and Hetty has a daughter, Natalie, from her first husband. They lived in Ashwich their whole lives, but only moved to Bluebell Row when Hetty and Adam got married four years earlier. Elijah, the oldest at 22, has transformed the basement apartment to an attempt at a bachelor pad, but it ultimately failed and now he uses it to hide from Helaine and Natalie when they fight with each other or when they're actually getting along and decide to gang up on him. Hetty has her wooden sculptures decorating all the mantles, Adam has his decorative pillows covering every possible sitting surface, Elijah has his video games strewn across every floor, Helaine has her skateboard at the precisely worst spot at almost all times and Natalie has her collection of hair pins and scrunchies throughout the house, in every cushion and cabinet.

Number five is home to Elody Thomas, her boyfriend Jonas O'Sullivan, their five month and two week old baby Francesca and their beloved Spot the dog. Elody runs the local tea parlor so tea cups and pots and bags are in all the cabinets for practical reasons and around the living and family room as decoration. Jonas has one spot for his favorite DVD's, but besides that left everything else for Elody to decide and Francesca and Spot to destroy. By the time Francesca was three months old, and Spot almost three years, they had given up trying to tell the difference between dog and baby toys and just settled on not letting any of them go in the baby's mouth.

Number six is constantly occupied by Georgie Hermann and Fluffy the Bunny and occasionally occupied by Georgie's boyfriend, Conrad, who's often on the road due to his job at Purple Prime Trucking. Growing up in foster care with no constant home, Georgie finally found a home with Conrad, but quickly learned that you should never find a home in someone who can't have one. After many fights and accusations of Georgie cheating with her boss at Ashwick Wharf Law, Conrad surprised Georgie with not only a down payment on one of the Row Houses, but a promise to be there at least once a week and a bunny that will be there 24/7 for her. He was not, however, anticipating just how much of a mess a bunny can make when he made that particular purchase. Georgie's smile and knowing that she feels happy and content is enough for Conrad to part with his favorite pair of shoes and losing all hope of ever having any paper last more than five seconds in the house.

Number seven, much like number seven, has full-time and part-time residents. The full-time residents are Sadie Adams and her niece, Julia Adams. The part-time residents are Sadie's boyfriend, Axel, and his son, Lucas. Axel was another truck driver and Lucas lived with his mother most of the time, but recently decided to move in with his father for the school year. No one knows why, not even Lucas, but he wanted a change and this seemed like a good way to do it, even if he has to live with his father who he hates, his father's girlfriend who he hates by association, and his father's girlfriend's niece who got to be raised by his father when he didn't, which is also enough reason to hate her, at least in Lucas' opinion. Her incessant need to decorate the house with small and useless pillows didn't endear her to him in the least.

Number eight was previously unoccupied for several years, but just last week the Delgado family moved in. Mateo and Isabella are the parents who love their children more than anything. The oldest child is Maria, the oldest and only boy is Cristiano, the middle child is Astrid, the second youngest is Sofia and the very youngest is Valentina. The Delgado parents do their best to not favor any of their children and treat them all equally, but with Valentina being deaf, Maria being 27 and having no motivation or drive and Cristiano being the only boy, it's very hard to not leave Astrid and Sofia behind with less attention.

Number nine has the rest of the Thomas siblings, both Elody and Addie having moved out two and four years previously. Lucien is the oldest in the house but younger than Elody and Addie, and works as a computer programmer, making enough money to let Philippa, the next youngest, focus on college and not have to work. James, the next youngest, and the latest one to graduate college, was currently trying to find a way to tell his siblings he'll also be the latest to move out of the house and in with his boyfriend, Albert, made more difficult by Lucien being convinced that their lack of a sex life and plans to continue that absence negated their relationship being valid. Camille, the youngest and only one still in high school, was much more accepting of him and Albert, although she was far too busy being a senior and trying to find out what career she'd pursue after high school to get in the middle of his and Lucien's fights anymore. Still, they managed to add a little of themselves to their home, mainly with an abundance of posters and and wall hangings covering every wall in an effort to be the sibling with the most wall space.

Number ten, the Roberts, was the most conventionally decorated of the row houses. Jodie, the mother, is an interior decorator and refuses to have her house be anything less than the best. Jodie's husband, Nate, was a plumber who was perfectly fine with his wife taking over decorating as long as he got to keep his TV and watch games at least once a week. The children were all allowed to decorate their own rooms to their liking, which Albert, the oldest and James' boyfriend, used to his full advantage, picking decorations and furniture specifically chosen to piss off his mother, who did not take kindly to the fact that Albert not only came as asexual but also told the neighbors, seeing it as a personal insult to her and how hard she worked to build the perfect family. Molly, the middle child and ever her mother's little darling, struggled with both supporting her brother and not going against her mother. Jack, the youngest at only ten, was too young to fully understand why Albert would watch games with his dad and talk to him to no end but wouldn't say a word to his mother and was perfectly happy idolizing his brother without thinking about his mother at all.

Now number eleven was something different entirely. The rest of the row was, if not friends, friendly. But not number eleven. Number eleven was occupied by Gabrielle Smith, Edgar Martinez, Melitta Roy, Makenna Jenkins, Darlene and Noraly. No one ever asked Noraly or Darlene's last names, they were just the children of the Knockmore – the only house on the row with a name and so named because of the sign that was put up on the house long before the current residents moved in and will still be there long after they're gone. They went to a private school the next town over, rarely going into town themselves. The adults often went into town, always two or three of them at a time, never alone and never all four, and never saying more than they absolutely needed to. No one knew where they worked or what they did in the house, but it somehow seemed different than the rest of the houses, larger and more intimidating, even though it was as perfectly similar as the rest of them.

Number twelve was a much more welcoming place than number eleven, home to Emilie and Kenneth Wilson, married for 25 years and will be married for 25 more, as they're sure to tell you if you ask about how they met, at least until next year when they'll be married for 26 years and will be married for 26 more. No one knows why they always say that, except for their daughter, Andrea, a senior in high school and the only one with the knowledge that they started a bet when they were first married to always say how long they were married and say that they'll married for as many more whenever asked and whoever stops first has to dye their hair pink and, far worse, has to admit they lost. Their house is cluttered with knickknacks from different eras, Emilie being unable to resist a few trinkets every time she goes to an estate sale to get inventory for her antique store. Kenneth, a historian, and Andrea, who always feels out of place if everything is too new, both appreciate it every time something new shows up, seeing who can figure out what time period it is before the other.

Number thirteen, the most eclectically decorated of the row houses, a mixture of traditional and modern Korean décor as well as the occasional comic book trinket that Peter sneaked past his mother, belongs to the Park Family, who own and work at the local book store, Downtown Books. Jin-Hee, the father, bought it when he was just 19 years old, putting all of his savings into it. It was there he met Min-Jun, then his bookkeeper, now his bookkeeper, wife and mother of his three children. The youngest is Peter, a junior in high school and forever plagued that his name is Peter Park and not Peter Parker. The middle child and only girl is Esther, already graduated from getting an Associate's in Art and working at Downtown Books. The oldest, Daniel, both followed his father's footsteps and severely deviated from them. He met his one day wife, Jordan, at Downtown Books, instantly knowing that he would marry her as soon as he saw her, just like his father. However, his father, who had never touched a drop of alcohol, was far different than Daniel, who just got out of rehab less than a year ago. Jordan, not wanting to distract him from staying sober, refused to date him. She said when he was sober a year she would date him and he was planning on holding her to that, but just being her friend and coworker was enough for now. He could do without Peter and Esther's, and sometimes his father's, constant teasing and singing of Daniel and Jordan k-i-s-s-i-n-g, though.

Number fourteen is, like the Park home, very eclectic. Rosemary Miller and her daughter, Sarah, live there. It was a mixture of things they need, like Rosemary's wheelchair, and things they want, like the giant knitted blanket on the back of the couch that the two of them knitted together. It's nice and cozy and they're both so happy it made up for all the sneers and whispers Rosemary had to go through when she was pregnant with Sarah at just 18 and with no boyfriend or plans to get one. It made up for Rosemary finding out she has MS when Sarah was two years old and it made up for Sarah constantly being afraid of losing her mother. It made up for Sarah wanting to build her life around her mom's and it made up for Rosemary trying to convince her otherwise. It made up for the looks they got when Rosemary had to use her wheelchair and it made up for when Sarah was teased in school about it. It made up for Sarah getting into fights over the teasing and it made up for Rosemary coming down to the school to get into fights with teachers and principles. It made up for the hard life that they didn't deserve and it made them think it wasn't so bad afterall.

Number fifteen is inhabited by Jayne and Peter Brown-Murphy, mother and step father to Clara Brown-Murphy, as well as Jayne and Peter's twin daughters, Delilah and Natalia, currently 13 and in their final year of middle school and about as different in personality as they are similar in appearance, and twin sons, Elijah and Aiden, both currently 5 and about as similar in personality as they are different in appearance. Despite Clara moving out four months ago, her clothes and books still clutter the house, something new being left or picked up or both almost every time she comes over, which is still at least once a day. Peter's job as a lawyer has affected his style only in the sense that he's as bad with keeping his books in one place as his step daughter, which is fine with Jayne who could never decide on just one style so decorated with all of them, Peter and the children more than happy to deal with a little clashing as long as Jayne kept smiling and cooking their meals, both of which made all of their hearts melt.

That is, currently, all of the residents of Bluebell Row. Not all of their secrets or stories or past, all of which would take much longer to go through, although no doubt would be worth the time to read it all.

ASMR: business or therapy?

As was mentioned before, many Youtube-users have realized that ASMR was an extremely popular trend. But how do ASMR bloggers turn "sensual" ASMR videos into a very profitable business?

Many of the currently popular Youtube-bloggers gave interviews to various online newspapers, talking about what ASMR is, why it is so popular, and how ASMRtists relate to the production and consumption of ASMP content.

But… wait a second… ASMR, is it all about business? Let us remind you once again what ASMR is. ASMR, which stands for autonomous sensory meridian response, is a feeling of relaxation, characterised by a tingling sensation, which can be triggered by certain soothing stimuli such as whispering or the sound of crinkling fabric. As various surveys show, people turn to ASMR to fight anxiety, to relax and / or to fall asleep [4], [5].

However, there are people who consider the practice of ASMR, if not deviant, then at least simply strange. They not only express their opinions on the Internet, but also some of them can influence a wide audience due to their popularity, ridiculing and criticizing consumers of ASMR content. Oksana Moroz, the Russian culturologist, talks about whether the practice of ASMR is deviant or not, we will write about her in one of the following posts. But let’s turn back to how celebrities laugh at the practice of ASMR. The most striking example is Lorraine Kelly, a British television presenter who called ASMR “ridiculous” in her show. Twitter users who are fans of ASMR said they were "enraged" by her criticism of the technology, while one said that she should "educate herself." Lorraine said: “Have you ever heard the most ridiculous thing in all your life?” Such a tactless statement ran into a wave of indignation among ASMR fans, especially on Twitter. It is worth noting that many people mentioned the fact that ASMR helps them and / or their friends to deal with anxiety.

Those people who did not talk about ASMR as a way to deal with anxiety noted that ASMR is a great way to relax, which should not be ridiculed.

People also share their thoughts about ASMR and about what health problems it can help to fight, in various forums and in comments on various articles on the Internet [3].

Can ASMR be considered as a therapy to struggle with problems such as insomnia? Is it possible in this case to say that ASMR is a therapy?

But what really happens? Is ASMR a fighter with any mental issues or insomnia? Or is it just a business where ASMRtists and brands earn a lot of money without thinking about why anyone needs such content?

First of all, let’s turn to the term insomnia. What is it? Insomnia is defined by the presence of difficulties with sleep. Almost half of adults suffering from insomnia also have various mental issues, especially depression [6]. Prevalence of insomnia ranges from 10 to 15% among the general population, also women and older people are more prone to insomnia [7]. As a rule, insomnia is treated with therapy and medications, the choice of which depends on several factors [8]. From here we are wondering if simple videos with quiet sounds can help in the fight against poor quality and amount of sleep?

Unfortunately, we did not find scientific confirmation of this. One of the scientific papers of Giulia Poerio, which is so-called “Could Insomnia Be Relieved with a YouTube Video? The Relaxation and Calm of ASMR” [9], however does not answer the question of whether insomnia can be alleviated by ASMR or not. All cases when people say that ASMR helps them in the fight against insomnia are not scientifically proven and are personal experience and personal feelings.
