Manga Monday #1
Since this is is the first one this one needs a little explanation. Every Monday I'll talk about what I am reading this week. A little exercise to keep me motivated.
This Manga Monday's tittle is "Ex-Yakuza & Stray Kitten" by Riddle Kamimura. It's a really sweet story about Jin, an ex-yakuza member that runs a pet adoption cafe, and Samu, a stray kitten that was abandoned in the rain.
It's a very heartwarming story about meeting new people, and how there is so much more to others than what you can see at first.
It's not very long, it's only 4 volumes long, but I enjoyed every second of it. If you have a soft spot for pets, or bad boys with a soft side, I really REALLY recommend it.

Manga Monday #6
Today's manga: Liar Satsuki Can See Death
This one's a bit gorey. Obviously, the theme being death. Our protagonist can see corpses of people who'll die within 24 hours. Naturally, she does her best to keep the people she sees corpses of alive. Why 'Liar' Satsuki though? Since she's honest to a fault and can't lie to save her life, she keeps telling people "you'll die tomorrow" and since no one dies (due to her efforts), she's the girl who cried wolf. Depending on where you look, this manga is also tagged as girl's love, and while nothing major has happened so far, there are certainly hints of it. Looking at the author's previous works, it might just happen. It's a bit difficult to tell. Anyway, please read about Satsuki and her earnest struggle to keep people alive in a world where everyone dies a little too easily.

Manga Review: One Piece Vol 4 by Eiichiro Oda
Hey all, Sam here. Well, here’s a review that was supposed to be up last year and just ended up sitting in the drafts folder for WAY too long. I had planned to review one volume a week until I had reviewed the 12 volumes covering the first season of the live-action adaptation coming to Netflix…and obviously I went into a blogging hiatus and that did not happen. Since I do want to get back to…

Manga Monday #2
Today's Manga Monday recommendation is Blue Period. The premise is very simple, it's about the journey of Yatora Yagichi, a high school student finding his passion for art and working to fullfil his newfound dream of going to art school, but it's going to take a lot of effort.
I ignored this one for a bit, but after seeing it in so many "must read of 2024" lists I decided to give it a go. It is a very inspiring character driven story about finding what you love and working hard for it . Reading it I felt as if the characters that were helping Yatora were speaking to me a little too. Every character feels like they have their own piece of themselves to share with you.
If you have ever felt lost and with no direction as for where your life is going, if you are a traditional art enthusiast, or if you really like a story about someone working hard to succeed. I would encourage you to check this manga out.
