🧡 I MEAN DON'T GET ME WRONG!! They're not any less passionate about you or anything, but like... c'mon. They're middle-aged, run a full time business and are married with kids. They've got a lot on their hands already so chances are they're not immediatly urging you to move in with them or just straight up sign marriage documents (sorry to disappoint u_u)

💜 But like I said: this doesn't mean they're not good lovers

If you're more social and outgoing then chances are you're out on the front lines with Bruce, taking orders for food, welcoming guests and getting them settled in, leading activites like volleyball or the weekly shuffleboard tournament, etc.

🧡 Obviously if you'd rather remain behind the scenes, you're more than welcome to join Brandi on her end of things. Making food, booking guests into their rooms, keeping track of all the finances, etc.

💜 Maybe you're crap with spreadsheets and numbers and just wanna like... keep her company while she works at her desk? Grab her some refreshments every now and then?? Maybe even offer a shoulder massage once you've noticed she's been hunched over for too long???

The man spends pretty much all his time around literal giants and it can get a little overwhelming sometimes, so he can definitely appreciate having someone around who's more on his level (hehe). Brandi on the other hand just thinks your small size is cute! Hands down one of her favorite things is when either you or Bruce (OR BOTH) just like? Casually hitch a ride on her shoulder?? Or she'll hold you both in the palm of of her hand and just go "omigosh it's totally like holding a couple of grapes haha :D"

🧡 I like to think that even while running a business and family, Bruce and Brandi are still perfectly capable of maintaining a healthy love life— both with each other and you. Harry laughs as he studies you from his side of the bed, his fingers absentmindedly brushing up and down your arm. "5 dogs, huh?"

"Yeah. And a few cats. For balance." You grin. "And maybe some chickens. Or goats!"

"Uh-huh. So, you wanna live on a farm? That's the future you see for us? We're farm folk?"

"We could be," you say. You scoot closer. "We could get out of the city, find a house with a big yard and lots of trees. A pool and a trampoline. And a cozy window nook where we can drink our coffee and watch the sunrise."

His smile is sleepy and soft and it makes your heart race. "I like that," he murmurs. "And in our folksy future...are we married? Do we have any kids?"

"Well duh," you tease, nuzzling your nose against his.

"Yeah? How'd we get married?"

"I think...we got married in the fall," you whisper. "By your parents old house. Next to the water. At sunset. It's small and people are jealous they weren't invited. But it's a beautiful day, and it's perfectly us. You cry when I walk down the aisle and I cry at your vows."

He chuckles.

"We have 3 kids over the next few years. We adopt and foster, and even though we aren't biologically related, the middle one has your eyes." Your run your fingers through his curls fondly. "They love you. A lot. And you stay home as often as you can to help raise them, which they love. They enjoy artsy things and they love being outside. We take them on lots of trips and they're such a handful but we love them anyway. Even though the youngest has an awful temper."

His lashes flutter shut.

"We're happy," you decide, even though he's already falling asleep. "We're really happy. Just us, and our 3 kids, and 5 dogs, and 2 cats, and chickens and goats."

He hums. Faintly. "I like that," he exhales. "We're gonna do that, yeah?"

You smile and press your lips to his.

"I promise."

The silence was more distracting than his loud complains, and Y/n didn't know what to make of that sudden knowledge as she turned the page of her textbook, trying to remember even one word she's read in the past ten minutes

If she was being honest, it scared her, the way she had begun to adore his loudness. His constant sighs, his scowls, his frowns.

Her craving for his presence scared her more than her father did, and that was a huge statement.

Now, sitting in her room in her simple sundress in front of her desk, her books open, she wished he was with her too. The silence was just too loud, the air and space too big without his looming presence.

Just as she leaned back, rubbing her face with both hands, the door opened, and in walked her ugly husband.

Not ugly.

Y/n quieted the voice as she sighed, turning to look at him as he made his way to her bed. Technically his bed too, but that was not the point.

As soon as he was settled, laying flat as he stared up at the intricately carved ceiling, Y/n turned back to her work, the medicines and herbs suddenly much more interesting.

"Do you all really do nothing all day?"

Y/n blinked, turning to look at him.

"What?"

"Do you all really just sit around on your asses doing nothing?"

Unamused, Y/n wondered if he was being serious. When she didn't reply, he turned to stare at her expectantly, and she realised that he was, in fact, not joking.

"Father handles the kingdom matters all day. Halden is usually busy with his trainings and studies, so am I. Other than the guards, everyone has something to do."

He clicked his tongue. "Being in Samara was better than this-"

The thud that echoed through the room was more satisfying than it should have been, and Y/n had to work hard to suppress her smile as Xaden turned to glare at the thick textbook she had chucked at his head.

"What is this?"

"My first year textbook. You should read that to pass the time and maybe consider shutting up."

And because she wanted him to know small remedies in case he got hurt while on a mission, but he didn't need to know that.

After all, it would be a real waste of manpower if he died because he didn't wrap an injury quickly enough or used poisonous herbs when needed. He had a very coveted signet, from what she'd heard, and he was also apparently a very good rider and warrior. The kingdom needed people like that.

And because he was very entertaining when angry.

He scoffed. "Yeah, no. I'm not reading some healer's textbook."

Y/n shrugged, picking up one of her books to continue reading. "As long as you don't irritate me, you can do whatever you want."

He was quiet, and Y/n stopped thinking about him and actually started reading when she heard the noise of paper turning.

Try as she might, she could not hide the triumphant smile blooming on her face.

It had almost been over an hour when Y/n stood, stretching her hands high above her head to relieve some of the tension in her body before tuning to Xaden, who watched her curiously.

"I forgot to tell you, but Halden is hosting a party this evening."

He groaned. "Another one?"

A small smile bloomed on her face, because no matter how she felt about him, she could relate to his lack of enthusiasm. "It won't be like the previous ones."

"Oh?"

She nodded, leaning her hip back against the desk. "Party is just a nicer, more appropriate word so no one finds out, but it is basically a revel, with too much drinking and... you know..."

His scarred eyebrow rose, skeptical. "I know... what?"

She sighed through her nose. "People will be busy... interacting."

He blinked "Interacting. Interesting. And it's allowed?"

She rolled her eyes. "Halden sends out the invitations personally, and only people he trusts get them. Those who get invited are bound to stay quiet about the whole ordeal, and as long as it does not get revealed to the general public, father does not care."

"So people partake in group activities?"

Y/n blushed, realising he had something completely different in mind. "No! I mean, I wouldn't know. I've only been to one. And usually, the lighting is so dark you cant see what others are doing. Aphrodisiacs are involved, and everywhere you look, you will find a couple or two being... intimate."

By the time Y/n finished speaking, Xaden's eyebrows had almost disappeared into his hair.

"That's..."

"Mhmm. You can probably find some good company tonight."

Instantly, his eyes hardened. "What does that mean?"

She blinked at the harsh tone, straightening. "I-"

A knock sounded through the room, interrupting her, and she glanced over as the door opened.

The maid walked in holding a tray, a teapot, two cups and a plate of small biscuits and sweets stacked onto it, balancing precariously as she made her way over to the low table in the corner of the room.

Without a word, the maid set down the tray, then glanced up at Y/n to await further instruction.

"I can handle it, thank you."

The maid nodded, and after a look at the smile Y/n gave her, turned and left, blushing.

The whole ordeal gave Y/n time to collect her thoughts, and she was grateful for it.

Y/n and Xaden, though now married, had not consumated it yet. Y/n knew the significance of it, the importance it held in the royal family. Her father had subtly hinted at it in the past few days, to which Y/n had pretended it had happened.

Sha hadn't yet talked to Xaden about it, hadn't told him that in the family, a marriage without consumation was basically a marriage annulled.

The only reason she continued lying about it was because she knew he still had feelings for General Sorrengail's youngest daughter, and maybe, just maybe, also because even though she had known the chances of her marrying for love were almost nonexistent, she still held out hope that she would only ever be intimate with someone she loved and because she wanted to be, not because of responsibility.

Y/n made her way over to the table, beginning to pour the tea into a cup when Xaden spoke up again. "What did you mean, Y/n."

She sighed, already tired of this conversation. "Just forget it, Riorson." She glanced up to meet his eyes. "Tea?"

His eyes hardened further, and he stood, his jaw clenched, a muscle feathering in his jaw. "You enjoy it."

He walked out the door without another word, slamming it behind him, not giving her a chance to do anything but spy the curious eyes of Nash as he tried to gauge what had caused this reaction.

And, even though Y/n knew that he was mad, the fact that her first year textbook was missing didn't go unnoticed by her.

Time for more Seperated Leo Human AU! (I really need a name good lord-)

As promised, we now get to look into Leon's lore! He's a funky little guy, and shockingly well adjusted!

Lore drop under the cut!

His full name is Leonardo Tomás Esposito, and he is quite proud of it! He picked it out himself when he was about 10 years old, and he's happy to say that he still loves it to this day! (Fun fact: all of the names have double meanings to them hehe)

But anyways, his Mamà is in fact, NOT Big Mama (but it was a solid guess!), her name is actually Mia Esposito! (+10 Fandom points to anyone who can guess her full first name) She is a full time nurse and used to travel around the several NYC hospitals as an on-call nurse, but once Leon was born she stuck her roots down to one and has been there ever since!

She's actually an incredibly interesting character (with her very own arc!) with a lot of depth and meaning. She grew up with her Puerto Rican mother and Italian father, but after a series of misfortunes and despair, she ended up immigrating to NYC to start a new life for herself. About 10 years later she began raising a baby all on her own as a single immigrant mother in New York City (Sound familiar?). Whenever Leon asks about his father she tells him that she doesn't remember his Papá, only that he had the same almond-shaped brown eyes as her baby boy....

But ultimately she doesn't remember him hahaha maybe Leon should stop asking questions and get back to studying!

(Leon knows that she's hiding something, but ultimately he doesn't care about his father that much, he just assumes that he did something to hurt his Mamá and wants nothing to do with the man at all)

Leon and his Mamá are very close, they're very similar to Percy and Sally Jackson from the PJO series, and they would definitely fight God for each other.

Leon was raised very much with the mentality of "It takes a village" and has many aunts and uncles and relatives in the hospital staff that he considers family. Mia couldn't really afford childcare as Leon grew up, as it often came down to food or rent for the month. The hospital staff saw this and absolutely adored little baby Esposito, so they were more than happy to raise him alongside their own children. Mia owes her life to this staff and considers them her family through and through.

As he grew up, Leon saw all his favorite people as nurses and doctors and considered each and every one of them heros. He decided very early on that he wanted to be a doctor when he grew up, and after a terrible injury when he was 14 it cemented the fact that he wanted to be a pediatric surgeon, to help kids just like him.

But the issue is, Leon and Mia definitely do not have enough to cover medical school for Leon on a single nurse's income, even with all the jobs that Mia and Leon have taken over the years. That's why Leon NEEDS the athletic and valedictorian scholarship, without it he won't be able to achieve his dream. The only thing standing in his way is.....

THE HAMATOS

(Except Michael, he's a gift)

Leon is willing to do ANYTHING to get those scholarships, but his Mamá always reminds him that the Hamatos might need it just as badly as he does, and that's about all that's keeping him from REALLY doing anything to hurt/sabotage them. His Mamá has instilled a really strict moral code into his psyche and he won't actually do anything to them, he just....really wants to give his Mamá a better life, one she deserves.

Although, he is kinda curious as to why the Hamato brothers have the same eyes as him......

Whew! That was pretty much just a really intense ramble, sorry there was no actual structure to that, I just really wanted to talk about my Leon lore! Props to anyone who figures out the significance of all the names, and to clear up any confusion, Mia is Half Puerto Rican, half Italian, and Leon is 1/4 Puerto Rican, 1/4 Italian, and 1/2 Japanese (but shhh he doesn't know that yet) and obviously he's got that amazing vitiligo (shout out to anyone and everyone with vitiligo, y'all are amazing and beautiful)

* I changed the opinions of idols for artists in general, because I wanted to include producers, stylists, designers, etc.

in general

needless to say, these are very intelligent people, strong mentality, an interesting and maybe unusual way of doing business, they may not have very typical hierarchy in the company. definitely a force to be reckon with, the lyric "I'm a newbie soon to be butterfly" from le sserafim - smart, describes their reputation perfectly, this business model, groups and plans may have been created when they were very young and/or new to the job, and it's been working out exactly as planned. the term "hybe family" used by fans is quite accurate, from the 10 of pentacles and the star cards, everyone seems quite comfortable and easy-going with each other, may often exchange encouraging messages and visit each other. these are very hardworking, passionate, focused people, the knight of swords represents well what strong opponents they really are. this isn't talking about other entertainment companies and/or other artists, it's about people that try to ruin them (like the people spreading rumors, mistranslations, etc. about them oftenly), I think the whole situation happening right now is a good example, it's very obvious they're not fighting with each other, but towards the same goal, in one direction, and the people that are obsessed with the "feud" pretend to not be able to connect one thing with the other. this seems like a funny business model as the star card in my deck is a literal clown making jokes. the young women are great examples of what the company is all about, like le sserafim saying they'll secretly change the industry while everyone makes fun of them, and they're having fun, making things easy for them and those like them. the 4 of cups reversed really represents their introspection level, in the card, the person is chilling with the cups they already own, while a random being tries to offer them a different cup and they just laugh, it's quite an interesting company that many like to study. they're definitely helping the justice system, it's easy to notice in this spread, nothing new, most of them seem to have police license and/or training. very weird people too hehe

again, they're really a force to be reckoned with, there's no reason to go against them, so if you do, you will screw yourself and your adjacents. karma seems to be on their side more often than not, because they accept bad consequences for their mistakes. again, it really seems they all have some sort of really strong training like military level, these cards are really impotent. it's easy to make business and get to an agreement with them, they're very nice people, treat fans and admirers with sympathy. they have each other's backs and those that are equally nice to them, they aren't afraid to be mean or senseless tho, it's something about the culture of their founders. fantasy and science are a big part of the company, they have a lot of respect in general! oh, they lie for fun, for sure! because those that need to know the truth, get it easily, so it's funny to see people try to crack their codes. they're very accepting of all types of people, it's a very accessible environment, place and community. nobody in the industry seems to be really scared of them, when it comes to ador vs hybe, it seems to be one of those things very obvious to those that know about business and entertainment, it doesn't seem to be about min heejin vs hitman bang, it's more about what they represent, what their names mean in documents, etc.

wow!!! criminals are really screwed in this company, don't worry, none of the public figures involved in this "feud" are bad people, otherwise, they would've had their consequences a LONG time ago, nothing pass by them unnoticed hahaha 😆 people there are really strong, really intelligent, and so is their businesses, staff outside of the company are very impressed! don't underestimate anyone involved there, including minors, they already know more than you if you do so haha it's a really accessible company, and easy, simple people, with a lot to show off for, most about them is misinterpreted and they really don't care, justice is on their side, as a whole. they don't care about a good reputation or money, they're just having fun and following laws, it's a very strict and by the rules place, not very square people tho haha they don't have to try very hard or work much, they're too smart omg hahahah it's not just about dancing on stage, they do a lot more behind the scenes, as usual in kpop! their names are very established, hybe may die, but none of the public figures would suffer from that at all (everyone you can find their names in documents (specially court docukents), internet, associations, etc. they're all considered public figures). none about this screams paying to win awards, actually the 8 of pentacles reversed would insinuate the opposite, as the card literally shows someone making money, if it was upright in this situation, it would insinuate money laundering or general corruption, but they don't care enough about fame to do that (the world reversed). this spread literally says "it's not my fault that everybody loves me". they're not ruining common people's lives, it's just another attempt to ruin working people's reputations, but as britney spears said "hoping I'd resort to some havoc, end up settling in court, now are you sure you want a piece of me?"

oh literally trust them with their eyes closed... they feel very safe around everyone and everything there, this is literally the opposite of how people have been trying to taint their image. they're very into psychology, spirituality and other ways of being respectful of all beings, it's like how they have fun.. this whole mess seems to be about charity being taken advantage of, the 5 of swords explains well, a typical business thing that usually happens behind the scenes, but they're probably taking advantage to fix other things, including different industries. for female artists, these are just regular people trying to do what they like (including business), being sabotaged by people they lowkey depend on, seems like politicians, since kpop is a part of south korean government for a few years now, and we've been having a surge of poorly made politics for over a decade. they like the way people think over there, the way they live and how they treat what is 'other', the 4 of pentacles seems to represent culture and hobbies in this spread. it's a wide range, it has a lot of history, people have many stories to tell, it holds a lot of life, talent is never-ending, those are very good brains. there's a lot of secret information, as accessibility has been very relevant in the reading so far, in this spread it seems to mean that a lot of them are disabled or innately sick, so they have a different type of business indeed. endless knowledge.

Hai just some random headcanons n infos of my omari au, enjoy this shet ton of texts and cringe- (⁠•⁠ ⁠▽⁠ ⁠•⁠;)

•this au takes place where autumn season is almost coming. Instead of hanging out usually with the friend group, Both Mari and Sunny focused on their recital but whenever sunny practices he doesn't seem to be improving, he gets very upset and frustrated and he's downing himself, it doesn't help his lingering mental health.

•The friend group visits the Sachiko siblings, to support them and just checking in or maybe, have sleepovers and movie nights if not busy.

•Mari plays the piano very well, her tutor doesn't quite have a problem with teaching her anything, she adapts it very fast. Sunny on the other hand still takes tutor sessions, slow learner but atleast hes not quiting (spoiler alert he did..)

•their parents especially their father always compare sunny to Mari..

•Sunny noticed that his parents always gives Mari lots of attention, when she feels frustrated they always try to calm her down. when she feels sad they always try to find a way to cheer her up. They do sometimes do all that to him but not a lot, despite that he just tries to not care at all, although, there's a bit hint of sadness and anger he feels inside but he will never hate his big sister for that, she's literally perfect.

•Sunny always put his feelings aside for other people, he always put others first than himself. He never knows when someone is taking advantage of him, like walking over him like a dirty rug.

•He feels miserable and also worthless, at some point, he wishes to sleep and never woke up, maybe disappear. He doesn't know why it was never good enough? He tries to study to get good grades, tries to be friends with other people. But still it was never enough for them.

•The friend group never notices there's something wrong with Sunny not until He starts to distance himself from the group but some of them tries to talk to him. Sunny would still talk to them but not much. They assume he's tired from his practice or just tired which they understand, for basil tho, he feels like there's more to it than that.

•Basil is most affected by the way Sunny's behaving. He shouldn't think too much about it but it's been months n weeks he's acting like that, he make a attempt for sunny to open up to him but alas nothing, he doesn't want to make it look like he's forcing him, he always let Sunny know that he will be always there and ready to listen to him.

• Kel is the same as the og but he's sad inside, he's close to sunny not the way Basil and sunny are but sunny is his first friend from the neighborhood. He just guess that Sunny's not in the mood or he's just sad, that's why he tries to make him smile maybe a chuckle from him.

•Aubrey doesn't understand why Sunny's like that, he doesn't hangout with them, she knows that it's because of his tutor sessions with the violin. She's a bit upset but she tries to be more understanding than being angry.

•Hero as the big bro of the group, hes sorta like fixer, especially when a little fight happens with aubs and kel, "Maybe he's tired, we shouldn't bother him". He'll cook some food to the group maybe bake some sweets that sunny likes, in effort to make him feel better also for Mari ofc.

•Mari, they thought she knows what's going on with sunny because shes his big sister and she supposed to know what's going on with him. She does have (a bit) toxic positivity and always aims for perfection, she's a good sister tho but she just doesn't look too deeply on what's happening with sunny.

She didn't realize their parents act differently towards him and it's slowly making him break..

"Oh, you just need a bit of rest, lil bro"

"Come on, i know you can do better than that!"

"Hehe mom and dad are excited for our recital even our friends!!"

"I want everything to go perfectly"

Maybe, if she only did none of this would ever happened...

Time for day 3 for yume session

Archery club...

I was at archery club with my good friend snow yoisaki she was a definition of a perfect student straight A's best at poems, art,math, history everyone loved her she was amazing of course and I'm so lucky she's my friend! She even helps me study for our test and stuff but I'm glad I'm not the type to take advantage of her kindness hehehe during the end archery class me and snow were talking "great job yume! You improved!" She said happily "the others even improved and today was solid evidence!" I love doing archery I was very good at it and I kept improving and this month I finally did every score perfect! However when I was talking to snow right before going home she told me that during her 3rd year she'll become a archery teacher soon enough snow was an year older then me and I can't wait to see her become a teacher "alright then see you tomorrow yume-chan'" her voice was pretty different for what I could tell she went away something about that smile was different for what I usually see on a daily basis...

Huh? "Hey yume!" I heard my name it was my older brother Yuki and his lady friend sanka togami "hey oni-chan ddo you need something?" He nod

He asked yume "oh I'm going to the Archery club" she replied "well it's over at the courtyard over there" when yume walked passed the sports club running there she was introduced to the captain of the club and she introduced herself some people there called her 'pretty' her brunette and blonde mixed hair was the most prettiest features about her according to teachers,her family,friends and others "hehe well thank you" the captain asked why she visited "my brother recommend it to me he said I should learn how to aim stuff properly he said I'm terrible at darts and also need to work on my postures As well" the Captain raiseed her eye but nod "okay good" that's not until a girl taller and looking a bit older then yume approach her "you're yume kuzuryuu right? Yume was conflicted for the past few weeks with Aimee who changed agencies for some reason she didn't wanted to talk about it she just left without explaining anything at all and her brother was no help like at all with these type of stuff at archery she sat down her palms were sweaty "hey yume you need to stop worrying just hit-" yume just sighed the retired captain of the club was visiting to make sure the present one was good enough and yume was absolutely anxious with so many things on her mind she couldn't properly think "hey yume?" Snow appeared "you don't look okay" yume sighed "I can't focus properly how do you focus on archery while your mind has more things to focus on?" Snow got her bow and arrow and stretch it "when you do Archery or any thing at all you need to focus the target you should think about those stuff later your target is there your other target is wayyy over there" she said while targeting the bullseye she gave the arrow and gave it to yume,yume got up and stretch the arrow "alright" when she did the arrow reached the bullseye yume eyes widen and hugged snow "thanks snow!" After

When the old captain came along he looked at snow "hey aren't you kanade yoisaki's daughter?" Snow nod "I still remember your mom she still writes song yes?"

"Yes sir she is a good composer" the captain turned to yume "and you're yume kuzuryuu?* Same as snow she nod "your dad hajime always watched your other dad whenever he was at his club at the end you're father kissed him on the cheek after he was done with clubbing y'know?"

"Damn that's kinda homosexual"

Bonus: after clubbing yume was planning to leave early but it was cut short due to the heavy rain, instead she went inside the dojo but she saw snow still doing archery muttering something "I must.." yume couldn't make out on what she was saying but she realized snow was aiming 5 times without missing which surprises her "what is she saying...?"

2. when in canon does your self insert come in? do you have a scene in mind for your entrance?

Okay so, Ash is actually in the same class as S.quall and.... um... the other guy. So you meet her from the get-go! She's the model student of the class and takes her studies at Garden extremely seriously. At the beginning, you can speak to her in the classroom and find her around Garden.

She also joins you on the SeeD mission thing to the town! So she's there for the TV Tower and all that. As you know, she fights with two guns. Pew pew, fuckers.

11. what kind of outfit(s) does your self insert wear?

AHSKAHDKAHDKAB I LOVE HER OUTFIT SO MUCH SJDHAJDHWJ

Okay so! At the very beginning, you see her in her school uniform.

These things! However I imagine that instead of short socks under her skirt, she had thigh-high length ones. As for hair, F.F8 Ash has her hair in one, long braid. That doesn't change no matter the outfit.

In her uniform, she uses a yellow ribbon for her hair. Her outfit later has a white ribbon.

However, once you become a SeeD, she does too. And she can finally change out of that stuffy uniform!!! Ash impresses everyone with her Style.

For the rest of the game, Ash dresses in tight, black jeans. She has dark red, laced boots that are kinda long, about mid-calf? Or maybe a little higher than her ankle? Whatever, she has nice looking boots!

As for her top half, she wears a simple white buttoned shirt (tucked into her jeans). On top of it is a leather, crossed shoulder holster she uses to store her guns. Very Nathan Drake, you know? Her sleeves are rolled up to her mid-forearm. She wears a few leather bracelets.

As for gloves, she only wears one glove and that's on her left hand. You know those shooting gloves that have every finger except for the pointer and middle covered? Yeah, she has one of those. She broke her wrist as a kiddo and sometimes needs some extra support on that hand since her gun can be a lot sometimes. Also brown leather, of course. She has an aesthetic and she sticks to it. I love her holster hehe!

As for head, her hair is still braided. She wears dark red glasses just like I do. And earrings are a fun one! She has two lobe piercings on each other.

On her right ear, on her lower piercing, she has a bright red hoop. Not very big. Probably something like this.

On her upper piercing on her right ear, she has a small gold hoop, like the upper one here.

As for her left ear, on her lower piercing, she wears a larger gold hoop just like the one on the left side in the picture above.

On her upper piercing on her left ear, she has a cute and small stud. Something like this.

I made the cheer squad!!! I have a lil more to say but that's the important bit- updates under the cut like always ✨

Cheer tryouts were waaay different than i expected!! I kind of thought it'd be a big ordeal but it was just me and one other freshman who tried out, so we were obvs accepted lol Not that we wouldn't have made it in anyways since we both looked fucking great!! Especially considering I haven't even done any of those moves since last fall. The squad is pretty small and i don't think they do competitive stuff but that's fine, we never did in high school either. I'm more interested in getting to know the rest of the silkball team we'll be cheering on, if the try-outs were any indication of what's to come 🤭 There's this cute owl-guy I might have my eye on- i think he works at the tavern too!!

Oh yeah, i also got the work-study at the tavern! I figure i'll just quit if i don't like it lol but anyways come say hi if ur on campus- i promise you'll recognize me on sight. I'm pretty easy to spot hehe

Oh oh oh and congrats to Mire for getting on the team too!! and for scoring some points with their crush (they can thank me later~). I wonder if they're gonna be able to play well while being cheered on lmaaooo

Classes have been fine, but tbh i haven't rlly been able to pay attention to them since i've been busy partying, meeting new people, and adjusting to life on campus! It's kinda overwhelming, my contacts have like doubled since i got here. And everything is like...way different, yknow? Obvs I didn't think it'd be the SAME as high school, but the vibes are soooo different is all. idk what to make of it all yet but i know that im LOVING being away from home and enjoying my freedom so far <3 Cathy told me the first month or so would probably be rlly hard but idk what she was talking abt bc no one grounds me for waking them up when i get home at 2 am and not even the raven queen can stop me from eating icecream for dinner now.

In reality, this party was kind of lame, even as Respite typed otherwise to his friends— they'd opted to ditch him for a studying session, so he sure as hell wasn't going to let on that the party was anything but lit. They had a feeling most of them probably wouldn't care, but Willow might feel a touch regretful, so the lie was worth it.

After sending the message to the group chat and briefly checking tinder for any new DMs or matches— maybe he could escape this place and turn the night around— to no avail, they pocketed their phone. How annoying. They rolled their eyes and leaned against the wall, taking a slow sip at the drink they’d been nursing for the past hour. Respite wasn’t really a fan of drinking on the best of nights and all they had to offer here was shitty beer. After a moment of pouting and observing the dimly lit room, they turned and parted the dusty, moth-eaten curtain to look out the window again.

If anyone had noticed the way Respite kept flitting out to the porch or the front window, no one said anything. They did try to keep it discreet, at least, and simply worked it into the way they naturally made the rounds every now and then to talk to different people or get another drink. He liked to move around a lot at parties anyways to make sure that he saw everyone's faces and said hi to them all.

On the opposite side of the spectrum was Mettie, who, shortly after arriving and greeting a few people, had taken an edible or something and parked himself outside on the porch. From there, he seemed to be spending most of his time at the party smoking with other people who needed some fresh air and enrapturing (ensnaring?) them with his long-winded conversation. Respite wasn't sure if this had been his goal when agreeing to come to the party, but it had been the result.

It dawned on Respite slowly that they hadn't really seen Mettie at a party like this before. Well, okay— they'd seen Mettie at one or two big house parties in passing, but they'd never actually spent much time watching him. He’d been the dealer for about 75% of their high school (it was a devastating loss to the community when he’d done his year abroad), so it was hard not to run into him from time to time at parties. But in high school, he was mostly regarded as weird and off-putting. People got what they wanted from him and were generally polite, but it wasn't like he was always invited to stick around. And when he was, it did usually end up like this— he'd put himself in a less populated corner somewhere and make puzzling conversation with those willing to listen.

In their hometown, it had felt like everyone else tolerated it because Mettie was a valuable resource. They knew his penchant for rambling, though, and tried not to engage— Respite himself included.

They couldn't place the feeling as they watched Mettie from the window now, with a handful of people gathered around him, held captive by the way he spoke. These people weren't just being polite, either. They were listening— sometimes even smiling and laughing with him. Sure, they were probably stoned too, but that hardly mattered. It's not like this was the first time it had happened since he’d learned Mettie was also attending Strixhaven. At their cafe shift, during orientation, and at the career fair...things were clearly different here.

A couple of years ago, Respite never would've invited Mettie to a house party with him. It would've been social suicide— he knows; he'd thought about it once early on and didn't even get far enough to invite Mettie before the ridicule started up— and though it had taken a lot to fight against their instinct, they needed to test their theory: Did people here actually like Mettie's company? This party seemed to confirm it for the positive.

In Respite's mind, the jury was still out on whether or not Mettie was cool, but at the very least it seemed like no one was going to corner him in the bathroom and interrogate him about why they saw him talking to the freak who looked like he was one bad day away from shooting up the school (untrue, of course, and tasteless in a way only teenagers could be, but Respite had forced out a laugh at the time).

There was a feeling of relief in that. In knowing that neither of them would be under constant scrutiny from peers and adults alike. Being unknown was freeing in some ways.

But there was a dread in it, too. In losing the structure Respite had spent years delicately building the pieces of their identity around.

A memory from when they were kids came to mind unbidden, of the time Respite had accidentally knocked over one of Mettie's earliest sculptures. It had been unsteady and the base made of air-dry clay toppled easily when Respite bumped the dresser in a fit of energetic excitement, sending it crashing to the ground. The roughly attached bits and bobs came loose and scattered across Mettie's bedroom floor, transitioning from art to disjointed pieces without purpose or clarity in an instant.

For what it was worth, Mettie had taken it in stride even as Respite desperately crawled under his bed with a flashlight to gather everything, apologizing and promising to help him glue it back together. After staying quiet for some time, he'd declared it an act of fate that only added to the piece and gave it new meaning. Respite didn't understand, but they'd been so terrified of being yelled at that they nodded in agreement even as their cheeks were pink from crying. They still attempted to fit some of the pieces back together until Mettie insisted they just put it in an empty shoe box so that he could make something new of it. To this day, Respite had no idea if Mettie had ever fixed it, restructured it, or simply left it as a memorial in his closet.

They wrinkled their nose up at the unwarranted assault of a flashback. Clearly they'd been hanging around Mettie too much already if their thoughts were starting to get this metaphorical. He downed the last of his warm beer, hoping the bile on his tongue would force him to refocus on the party.

personal post!

hey hi I’m alive sorry for abandoning my blog for like 1.5 yrs??? I had a bunch of health issues and mental health stuff too :’)

Like very full on... god what HASN’T happened.

My body had a weird reaction to the covid vaccines in 2021? I ended up in hospital etc and was sick with mystery fatigue and shit for months and months.... I think I went to hospital like 4-5 throughout 2021? My body seems fine with the MRNA boosters I’ve gotten so maybe something in my body just hated the astrazeneca vaccine?? I’m kinda bitter about it bc of the ambulance bills I had to pay, but still, thank god for vaccines amirite

then, the apartment I was living in and loved got bought by someone who then wanted to move in, so I had to leave the place I loved living to somewhere still nice but way more expenno, and my health issues kinda continued?

then I started a new job

then my mental health got REALLY bad over the 2021/2022 christmas period to the point where I had to call an ambulance for myself bc my mind was in such a bad place.

Then I started taking SSRI’s for depression/anxiety, but I had this weird reaction to the drugs and we think I had serotonin syndrome because of its interaction with the asthma meds I’ve been taking all my life? But at the time no doctors would listen to me and basically gaslit me into thinking all the pain was just a physical manifestation of my anxiety. Anyway, it caused some of the most horrific pain i’ve ever experienced in my life, in particular nerve and muscle pain in my legs, and I had to shower sitting down for weeks, couldn’t walk much around the house, and needed super strong meds to knock me out so I could sleep.

I slowly healed and could walk again and do normal stuff for me around... late April?

While I was recovering I stayed with my mum but still paying rent in Sydney bc all my shit was there, so in June I killed my lease, put most of my shit into storage with a friend’s parent’s mini warehouse they use for their business (absolute legends and wholesome humans and I sent them money every month lol) and moved back home.

I started studying a certificate level course I’d been wanting to get over and done with for ages, so at the end of June I started studying.

Then once again mental health got bad, I tried SSRIs again, thinking it was me who was the problem last time I took them. BUT ACTUALLY, NO. Same physical reaction to the meds as last time, if not worse. It wasn’t my brain making shit up, it was an actual fucking drug interaction issue that ppl had tried to tell me was my anxiety and/or imagination!!! Queue horrific pain, weird symptoms, and once again the inability to walk or clean or work from anywhere but the couch.

Dr and I decided any meds that effect my serotonin levels are a no-go probably forever, and so I’ve been looking into CBD oil over the past few months to see if that will work for things instead.

Now I’m about... 2 months from that reaction, and started CBD oil 2 weeks ago (no reaction, side effects, or really anything yet) and can work at my desk as long as I have a big ass XL foot rest under my legs to keep them propped up, because I get nerve pain if I sit normally :’) I still can’t really go anywhere or walk anywhere other than around the house and for super short periods of time.

Also I powered through and finished my course just last week, so that’s out of the way at least!

Other than that, I’ve just been like. Sleeping, reading, watching shows, napping, sleeping more, trying to eat well.... my job is a bitch but I’m trying rly hard to skill up so I can do more of what I’m interested in! I kind of don’t have energy for much else at the moment??

I have no idea if I’ll post again as regularly as I did a few years back, but I love Tumblr and I always feel glad coming back here and spending time in this place for a bit. These days I mainly only post stuff on my locked private twitter lol. But I have always preferred Tumblr’s longer format and vibes hehe.

ANyway that’s all for now! I hope anyone reading this has been doing ok. These past few years have been fucking tough and if all you have energy for is working and sleeping... you’re valid, dude.

Not enough ppl talk about it and a lot of doctors seem to have no idea it exists or also know little about it, but there are lots of cases of it in settings where ppl have been taking other meds and been given SSRIs! I’m not saying don’t take meds if you need them, but just reaaaallllyyy do your research first if you can about adverse reactions and interactions :’)

Lastart 2nd episode

Jungmin and Minjae were impressive. I'd actually would like to hear the opinion of people who study vocals. Whether they were better than trainee Doyoung or not. Minjae seems noticeably weaker (?) than Jungmin to me, but his tone is nice. Jungmin has the voice of J-rockers, he'll be a good fit for the Japanese market. It's hard to trust SM though, haha. Whether we heard the real voices, exactly how the trainees sang before the judges, or processed and polished ones. Minjae is the one who is Do's fan.

Kasho and Heitetsu were boring. Their moves were so calculated, hesitant. Kasho's body control was better.

2 weeks for Ryu, ahaha. A pop-up audition in March of 2023? SM really lacked Japanese trainees...

Riku has good diction, but he sounded funny for some reason. Wanted to impress too much, that rookie awkwardness? Can't say Ryu's voice touched me, need to hear another song from him.

I was watching the episode very late at night (early morning actually, heh), so I skipped comments from the judges. My opinion wasn't influenced by them.

Ryo and Sakuya, what small chicks, heh. Sakuya looked better to me, he was cleaner with small details, he also rapped OK-ish.

4 members should be chosen, I guess, 2-3 Japanese among them.

Currently my pick: Anderson, Jungmin, Riku, Minjae.

I'd be surprised if Jungmin won't be taken with such a voice. Riku is the only rapper (unless Yuushi is one?) and he is expressive, he is a visual, his flaws will go away with time.

Sakuya resembles Jisung, if SM wants a cute maknae, he looks fit. However, there is an option not to take in the youngest and leave them for the next group. SM is planning to release them more often now.

Anderson needs to have something besides dancing to be chosen, me thinks. He doesn't know either of the two essental languages. He might be used just as a Western element in the show.

For now I'm not big on Minjae, but I'll always pick a vocal over a dancer, hehe.

But to make it 2 Japanese, let's change to: Anderson, Jungmin, Riku, Kassho. Kassho cracks me up with his face.

Hm, maybe the trainees who danced will sing the next time and surprise me?

My current bet: Jungmin and Riku will pass.

more friends, more connections, because it’s her connections with people that keep her grounded and not like a lost spirit

want her to explore her hobbies more: being a movie and food critic, and also a gentle interest in architecture

was at archery club with my good friend snow yoisaki she was a definition of a perfect student straight A's best at poems, art,math, history everyone loved her she was amazing of course and I'm so lucky she's my friend! She even helps me study for our test and stuff but I'm glad I'm not the type to take advantage of her kindness hehehe during the end archery class me and snow were talking "great job yume! You improved!" She said happily "the others even improved and today was solid evidence!" I love doing archery I was very good at it and I kept improving and this month I finally did every score perfect! However when I was talking to snow right before going home she told me that during her 3rd year she'll become a archery teacher soon enough snow was an year older then me and I can't wait to see her become a teacher "alright then see you tomorrow yume-chan'" her voice was pretty different for what I could tell she went away something about that smile was different for what I usually see on a daily basis...

Huh? "Hey yume!" I heard my name it was my older brother Yuki and his lady friend sanka togami "hey oni-chan ddo you need something?" He nod

After class there was a clubbing program for them to choose a club aimme took the writing club and then there was yume who decided to look at the archery club on her way she saw her brother who was at the foreign language club with 3 friends "hey lil sis where you heading off to?" He asked yume "oh I'm going to the Archery club" she replied "well it's over at the courtyard over there" when yume walked passed the sports club running there she was introduced to the captain of the club and she introduced herself some people there called her 'pretty' her brunette and blonde mixed hair was the most prettiest features about her according to teachers,her family,friends and others "hehe well thank you" the captain asked why she visited "my brother recommend it to me he said I should learn how to aim stuff properly he said I'm terrible at darts and also need to work on my postures As well" the Captain raiseed her eye but nod "okay good" that's not until a girl taller and looking a bit older then yume approach her "you're yume kuzuryuu right? The daughter of fuyuhiko and hajime Hinata kuzuryuu?" She said some of the students muttered a bit "oh yes how did you know?" "You look exactly like the two" she said

"Alright what about you miss.."

"It's snow yoisaki my mom used to be an archery club member but then when I say you handing out flyers for the club I decided to join"

When the old captain came along he looked at snow "hey aren't you kanade yoisaki's daughter?" Snow nod "I still remember your mom she still writes song yes?"

"Damn that's kinda homosexual"

Seto Kaiba pre-relationship headcanons pt. 2

OKAY. So to add on to before, I don't think Kaiba would pay a whole lot of attention to you until he finally gets some time off to go on a vacation with Mokuba, and Mokuba wants you to come with

It's clear that the younger Kaiba brother looks up to you so much already, and he texts you while you're in school all the time, so much that Kaiba's had to tell him to stop so you can focus on your studies

Mokuba actually gave Seto your number, he just has yet to text you back lol

So, Seto agrees to let you come along on the vacation. He texts you during school (after he just told Mokuba not to smh) and just fucking tells you that you're going. Doesn't check to see if it's okay LMFAO

You're just kinda staring at your phone before texting your parents/guardians that you'll be going on vacay with the Kaiba's.

(Forgive me, I've never been outside of America so I don't know what this is like) Seto and Mokuba are set on going to the Carribean, so you packed your bags and went with them

Seto, now relaxing by the poolside while you and Mokuba play in the pool, he's scrolling through social media on his iPad when he gets hit on the head with a beach ball

He looks up and Mokuba is hiding behind you, both of you looking terrified

He puts the iPad down. “Yes?”

“U-Umm…maybe put the tech down and…spend time with us?” You say, not so confidently.

"I have wor-"

"But it's a vacation, Kaiba." You retort. "C'mon...live a little. At least for Mokuba?"

Seto sighs and puts the iPad down, taking off his shirt and jumping into the pool, splashing both of you.

Seto is actually surprisingly easy to get along with, as seen when he resurfaced and immediately pounced on you and Mokuba.

"You wanted me to put down the tech!" He says.

Seto will take pictures of you, him and Mokuba before going out on dinners or to nearby beaches, or just even out anywhere. Seto's actually big on capturing the moment, change my mind.

When he posts the pictures, he'll tag you in them, surprising everybody at home. Joey would comment some shit like “WOAH (nickname) YOU WEREN’T KIDDING 🤯🤯🤯”

If Seto finds you two asleep, he'll drape a blanket over the two of you (and may just give you a lil smooch on the forehead before reeling back and being like "wtf why did I do that")

He'd also be watching a movie with you two and Mokuba falls asleep, leaning against you. You both snicker and make sure the blanket is keeping him warm.

"Thank you, Kaiba. For the vacation." You beam tiredly.

"Hm? Of course." Seto responds.

"Can I lean against you...? I'm a little tired..." You'd yawn.

"mhm." Seto nods, not taking his eyes off of the movie.

You lean against him, head on his shoulder, and you slowly fall asleep on him. He'd look down at you and give you a soft smile, once again leaning in and kissing your forehead, less shocked that he did it this time.

Mokuba catches on to Seto's growing feelings for you before he does, and teases him about it.

"You like (Y/n)!"

"What? Mokuba, that's preposterous."

"Admit it! You like her!"

"No, I do not!"

"Okay, so you wont mind if she goes on a date with Yugi, hm?" Mokuba smirks.

"Don't you dare!" Seto retorts.

"HA!"

Once y'all get back home, there's already many rumors that you and Seto are dating. Now people at school hang off of you like tree sap on a tree trunk.

Seto doesn't answer the rumors. Mokuba is begging him to just ask you out, Seto is trying to figure out his feelings, and you're wondering why Seto hasn't answered the rumors yet. It's a mess.

Eventually, Seto finally mans up.

He comes home late once again, you're just scrolling through your phone on the couch.

"What're you still doing here?"

"I wanted to talk to you, Seto."

"Fitting. I also have something I need to talk to you about." He's fucking nervous.

"You go first, then."

Seto then confesses how he feels about you, and how he wants to pursue a romantic relationship with you.

"...Well that partially goes along with what I was gonna say."

"Yeah?"

"Yeah. I was gonna say, either deny or confirm those dating rumors and either reject me or date me."

Guess you're dating now <3

Chapter 2

Pairing: Makkari x Reader x Druig

Warning: Confused reader, jealousy, angst, bad grammar (not proofread)

Even at the end of the evening, when y/n lay down in her bed, she could not quite grasp what had happened that day. Half an hour after arriving at her small apartment, with a cup of tea in her hand, she was still thinking about what had happened after the pile of books had fallen out of her arms.

The surprise that had been waiting for makkari at the door of the small store was a group of friends from her collage days. That’s how people had introduced themselves to her, but Y/N didn't quite want to believe that. First, Makkari had never told her that she had been to collage, and second, one person in the group was a young girl who looked no older than 15. Everyone had introduced themselves kindly to y/n, except the man from the book store. He was standing a few feet away from the others and just gave her a nod and his name. Y/N was visibly confused as to how a group of such different study friends were so attractive. Thena a tall angelic woman with long blonde hair looked more like she was a runway model or maybe an angel. the man named Ikaris had more of a Clark Kent look than a simple fellow student. And even though she didn’t really wanted it to be true, y/n thought the dark haired man with his mysterious expression was really handsome too.

Y/N had a strange feeling the whole time the group was walking through the streets and also after they had gathered in Makkari's apartment. But she had felt least comfortable when makkari and the young man with blue eyes embraced. Y/N sensed the familiarity between the two. And although she tried everything to prevent it, a feeling spread through her whole body. Jealousy.

"Is everything okay, Honey?," Makkari signed to Y/N, and all the attention in the room was on her. Y/N looked around the faces starring at her. She felt quite uncomfortable. Her gaze lingered on the young man who had previously introduced himself (somewhat annoyed) as Druig. He was licking his upper lip and staring back at her. His blue eyes were almost hypnotizing. Y/N had the feeling that if he kept looking at her like that, he might be able to read her mind. Before anything like that could happen, he spoke up.

"Makkari we need to talk to you. There is a reason why we are all here. And well it would be good if we discussed this alone. Do you think your little girlfriend can wait for us outside?" he turned to Makkari and didn't look towards Y/N anymore. Not even when she stood up to say goodbye.

Somewhat apologetically, Makkari looked to her lover.

Y/N tried to leave the room as quickly as possible. Druig's words were running through her head. She just had the feeling of not being wanted. The others had at least been friendly. But this arrogant guy wanted nothing more than to make Y/N feel small. And then he also was so close to Makkari. Y/N felt the feeling of jealousy boiling up inside her again. She knew she was probably red-faced by now as she paced up and down in front of Makkari's apartment building. She also knew that her thoughts were irrational and overdramatic. It started raining and Y/N started getting more frustrated. The wind was still as cold as it had been in the morning, and Y/N was glad she had at least remembered to take an umbrella with her when they closed up the store at noon to walk with the group toward Makkari's home. Druig had not even glanced at Y/N as he walked arm in arm with her girlfriend, laughing and reminiscing of old adventures. Something bothered Y/N about Druig. Maybe it was his leather jacket hanging a little too big over his shoulders and the mischievous smile, or the ocean blue eyes that winked at her after she almost slipped on the sidewalk. Y/N knew she had a talent for getting into awkward situations and always walking through the world particularly clumsily. But one thing in particular struck her about the way he acted. She bet that he had never fallen down a staircase or tripped over anything. And why was he so weird towards her ? „ he just wants to make me feel uncomfortable.“ Y/N looked back at the front door. There he stood, looking at her mischievously. "Maybe he really could read minds" She thought as she walked towards the door. Makkari stood next to him and took Y/N in her arms as she reached the entrance. She pressed a kiss to her forehead and stood next to Druig again to give Y/N room.

"That's a real pretty little girlfriend you got there Makkari" he said and walked with big steps past Y/N and her partner. He joined Thena and the young girl named Sprite who had taken a seat on Makkari's sofa. Ikaris and Sersi, meanwhile, browsed the book collection that took up more than half of the living room. For the first time in years, life had come to the house. Often Y/N and Makkai had been alone. But now the big room with its orange walls, historical artifacts, and the smell of homemade vanilla cookies felt almost like a home with a big family.

"They are staying here for a while. I hope that's okay. We all haven't seen each other in decades, Makkari signed with a smile. Y/N immediately felt how much this small group meant to her. „they are my family. I missed them a lot."

Y/N merely nodded and smiled at her partner. As long as Druig wouldn't be there all the time, Y/N was content.

As if he had read her mind again the young man walked up to the two. " we decided to celebrate tonight, we haven't seen each other in so long, that should be reason enough." he looked to Y/n. He leaned way down to close the height difference of the two somewhat. Y/n felt his warm breath on her skin and similarly as before couldn't turn away from his eyes." And as for you, I really hope we get to know each other a little better." He grinned, leaving a smiling Makkari and a blushing Y/N behind as he joined the others in the kitchen.
